Simply incredible. Looks like a very European art museum in the middle of North East Brazil, and even though most of the artworks are replicas, it's surely worth visiting. This is one of my favorite places to visit in Recife. The Brennand collection of weapons is fantastic and they certainly have a vast collection of art. My favorite time to go is during the week when it rains a little because there aren't as many people around so you can have a lot of time to yourself. Great architecture as well. This place is worth your time for sure.

The architecture is stunning but the gallery displays a lot of replicas and some originals. Most pieces don't have information on who made them or where, nor any historical context. The arms collection os really interesting but could also use some more information. Also, the ticket priced at R$50 makes it more expensive than most Brazilians can afford.

We had an amazing time staying at Pousada Praia Joao Fernandes. The view from our room was amazing, as was the view from the restaurant and reception. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, especially Flor, Stephanie, and Cinthia. They were able to answer any questions we had. You can not beat the location. We were just 2 minutes from one of our favorite beaches. Every morning, we enjoyed a lovely breakfast provided at reception and enjoy a morning swim down at the beach. We will definitely be returning for another stay!

If you come to Búzios, this is one of the beaches you might want to visit. It is long, windy and has fine hot sand, where hurrying your feet feels nice. There is a serving shack, somewhat expensive but buying a couple beers will grant you access to the beach chairs and umbrellas.

If you are going to visit Buzios, this is the beach I recommend staying at, particularly if you rent a house (which is what we did). The surf can be a bit rough for very small kids, but some of the best waves for surfing/boogie boarding I have seen anywhere in the Atlantic Ocean. The beach itself is reasonably wide and not overly crowded. There are bars at one end for food.

Really nice place. Good for people that enjoy playing in the waves, but in the safety of the shallow ocean at the same time. Also you can easily swim further than the waves breaking and enjoy a calmer area. It can be quite windy. Large sand strand, really good to practice sports. Beautiful sunset can be watched there. And it is kinda cute how the beach is "hidden" with the little alley entrances. The only problem I experienced was people burying (very badly, IF they do it) the poop of their dogs. Definately not a place to let your kid dig up the sand and build castles with it...

Paradise alert! Absolute love this beach. The only way to get there is by boat or trekking. I decided to walk. It took me less than 10 minutes to get to the beach. The views in the way are stunning. The boats bringing the people of nearby Cabo Frio to the beach can become a nuisance as they blare their music and it disturbs the peace and quiet. The water is crystal clear, and a sight to behold. It could really be pack after 10am. So, if you’d like a nice photo, do go early! We had to go back a 2nd time to get nice photo taken without people everywhere!

The stairs themselves are stunning but the sheer number of people trying to pose on them makes it overwhelming and takes away from the art. Go early or in the rain for the best chance at a decent view. The street leading up to the steps is full of souvenir stalls that are actually pretty well priced compared to the same stuff at Christ the Redeemer or Ipanema.

I came here twice, solely because it was so ridiculously busy the first time I thought it deserved a second go. The first was on a Saturday around 12. It was so insanely busy you could barely move let alone get any sort of pictures or enjoyment. The second was on a Monday around 10:30 it was still very busy but far less people. You could walk without getting in the way of to many people's photos and find a spot to take your own. Well the stairs are very beautiful, and it is completely free. I wouldn't say it is an absolute must see. If it's a stop on your tour, or nearby where you're staying I think go for it. But I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

Such an amazing vibe with beautiful artwork on the steps. It can be a bit crowded, but it is so worth the trip. Grab a caprihana and stroll on up the steps. Great little shops at the bottom to check out too.

Easy to miss if you're going from up top. The stair view can be enjoyed from tje bottom only. They're located on a 5-10 minute walk from the cathedral and are definitely worth a visit.

Sept.25: would have gotten 5 stars if it wasn't so overcrowded. We unfortunately visited on Sunday afternoon, lots of tourists which all took their time to get pictures... It was even hard only to enter the stairs just to go up.

This place is an iconic one. I went there late in the afternoon and was packed! Still, flocks of people would come and go leaving good time to take pictures. However, the best moment to be there is very very early in the morning like 6.30am, sun rises around 6-6.18am so it'll be well lit and everything, and most importantly, empty! You don't need to buy a ticket to enter this place since it's open for everyone. Just be careful of your belongings as always, pay attention to your surroundings and you'd be just fine! If you have enough time it's really amazing to really pay attention to the different ceramic tiles, also, be careful on where you step, after all it's ceramic so it can be slippery or tricky at times.

Very good attraction. It gets really busy so be prepared to be pushing and shoving. Everybody is trying to get the best spot to record the videos. They do have nice foods and souvenir shop on top of the mountain. There is always entertainment going on like live music.

Sugarloaf in Rio offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city, beaches, and mountains, absolutely worth the visit. The cable car ride is smooth and scenic. It can get very crowded, especially during peak hours, so try to go early or on a weekday. There are a few shops and places to grab a snack at the top, but prices are a bit high. Still, the overall experience is unforgettable and a must-do while in Rio!

There are squirrel-like primates called marmosets which can be spotted near the cable car stations and trails on the mountain , a species native to eastern Brazil. Beautiful views when a nice day. There is also a lot of things up on both mountains which I was quite surprised at! It would of been nice to keep it at just the cable car and a viewing platform but I guess it appeals to tourists.
