Very nice flotation down the river and they have a big blue pool with fish to swim in. Buffet restaurant is a handy place for lunch given the limited local food options. If you are only going to one place I would choose the Rio Triste but it's a close call and here is easier to get to from town, just a short drive.

Other than the lady on reception, all the other staff were very rude, calling us Gringos, giving us the wrong size shoes and then giving us smaller and smaller ones when we were asking for bigger ones just to be awkward, and rushing us. Cachoeira Serra Azul, a stunning cascade overseen by SESC, offers breathtaking scenery and discounted rates for SESC members. This magnificent waterfall presents an awe-inspiring panorama, making it an ideal spot to indulge in the enchanting activity of snorkeling within the river. Furthermore, this destination provides visitors with a delightful opportunity to swim alongside vibrant aquatic creatures while capturing picturesque moments.
The waterfall is in the SESC nature reserve. Drive about 13 kilometres from the park entrance to the visitor centre. Very well organized and friendly helpful staff. A walk up and down a few hundred steps to the waterfall. Can walk back or return on zip line. It was nice and you are given a life jacket to swim there but to be honest most enjoyed walking one of the trails in the park through the trees along the river. It's not easy to find flat native forest in Brazil. Did not need to be accompanied by a guide either. Had a very nice lunch in the nearby restaurant. Great food in a beautiful place with a lovely view over the lake for R$50. They have bikes in the park that they use to take people on short trails but we just walked, only 3km and you can see more walking. Need to buy all tickets in advance in an agency in Bom Jardim.
