Opened in 1977 and part of the Rio Quente Resorts complex, this expansive park spans over 55,000 square meters and features naturally heated waters that flow through its pools and water slides. Families will find endless fun with activities like surfing, kayaking, scuba diving, zip-lining, and rafting—though some come at an extra cost.
Didnt picture alot, but the place is beautiful and maintained very well.
The place is huge and have many kinds of activities for all ages. I think its one of the best places for families in all Brasil.
It is also very safe to let children play around there.

A Fantastic Family Adventure, Despite the Queues!
Hot Park in Rio Quente truly offers a fantastic experience with an abundance of activities perfect for the entire family. From thrilling slides to relaxing pools, there's something to keep everyone entertained throughout the day.
The primary challenge we encountered was the considerable wait times for many of the popular rides and even for food, with lines often averaging around 30 minutes. This did eat into our time and occasionally tested our patience.
However, we discovered that our absolute favorite experiences were the paid activities, such as scuba diving, rafting, and the zip lines. These were incredibly well-managed, offered unique thrills, and, crucially, had virtually no lines, making them well worth the additional cost for the immediate enjoyment and seamless experience.
Overall, Hot Park delivers a memorable and fun-filled day out. While the queues for the complimentary attractions can be a drawback, the quality and accessibility of the paid activities significantly enhanced our visit, making it a highly recommended destination for families.
Stay away if you can. Do not listen to your children if they want to come here. You will end up spending 300 brazil real per person including kids for the opportunity to stand in line whole day, including for food. Average time in line is 30-50 minutes. Total waste of my day. No fun at all. And money is gone too. It looks like the park does not have any limit on the number of people who can enter. I am surprised that locals like this kind of “fun” snd are ready to spend that much money to get a chance to stand in a queue.
Samara at the Maraé restaurant was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. it was a loving afternoon with friends having a blast of Brazil at this beautiful place. thanks Samara and her team!!
A fab theme park around water activities mainly. Fun for all the family, resteraunts there are a few, normal facilities available. Love the wrist bands so you can charge everything you need to it and settle up at the end of the day. The only down sides are not all rides in the park are free and should be as you pay a entrance fee also car parking is not free.
First of all, highly recommend visiting Brazil! HotPark in Rio Quente is a must visit. Amazing people, great food, atmosphere is beautiful. Waterpark and lagoons are amazing! Staff are super friendly. Resort has many hotels and pools available. Food options are great and wide range in buffet.

After 2 days of swimming in my appartment pool, I felt like something active. I had already seen this water park close to my appartment and decided to check it out.
This water park was terrible and I'm gonna explain why.
When buying the ticket, the employee didn't inform me of the payment cards. Me, never having been to this park didn't know that and proceeded to walk in. I found a place to sit and left my personal belongings there. It was right next to the Lazy River which caught my eye. I asked an employee where I could get a buoy and they told me. When I got there, they told me I had to pay for the buoy. Ridiculous they don't let you use it for free, as you return it. I reached for my cash, but then they told me I needed a card to pay. A card from the water park itself where you can store money on it. So I had to walk back to the entrance and asked for a card. I immideately asked why she didn't inform me that in the first place. Her lousy excuse was that I didn't ask for it. Like, I've never been to this park so I didn't know about that. Very bad service. So I wanted to put 33 dollars on it, but their system is like this: if you have MORE than 3 dollars left on it, they will only give back 3 dollars which is such a scummy move. After all this drama I got myself the buoy and went into the Lazy River.
The water was ice cold and the water didn't push me forward, I ended up walking through it. Poorly done.
The wave pool was also ice cold.
They also use alt accounts to raise their stars. I saw a lot of comments literally only saying: top, show and cool. They don't even try to hide it, I've never seen so many repetitive reviews.
Terrible experience. I don't recommend this to anyone.
One huge disappointment.

Great water park to bring the family, however if you are interested in history, geology or culture, you will be disappointed. The lake area is a caldera from an extinct volcano. The area offers nothing about this. We saw no wildlife other than a few birds, no swimming or activities in the lake. The water park is here to take your money. There was no public transportation and the roads to the park are in poor condition. Expect to pay R$50+ for a taxi. Social distancing is NOT observed but sigh are everywhere. Choices for food and drink are limited. The water park is actually quite small compared to Fortaleza Beach Park.
The swimming pools don't have hot water. Just the center pool has a water a little hot. It's not a traditional club of hot water in Caldas Novas.

Super versatile place for many kinds of events. Their infrastructure supports a huge volume of people, and being on the mall makes it more appealing, as you can count with their amenities, like the parking infrastructure.
The main downside is that in an event with a lot of people, the entering/exiting flux can be really bad as just 3 elevators can't handle all the people trying to get in/out. For this case, you can always use the stairs, or plan to arrive or leave out the busy hours.

One of the best natural complex in the Brazil. There is a zoo, swim, runway for running and others activities.
This time of the year is amazing is so green, the air has special smell of sweet musk, birds and wildlife.
Love to go there to have a picnic, to go for a walk, relax, do some exercise or drink and eat something. You can find affordable prices and different things to do, perfect to go with family and friends. Many children activities. There is an aquarium and a zoo. The zoo is not good. There aren't many animals. It's a shame because it's a beautiful place but the city hall hasn't invested in it!
Great park to go, walk and view a few o nature. At the day I gone there was a show of Esquadrilha da Fumaça, a famous brasilian acrobats plane and I drinked a perfect cold coconut water, so my visit was perfect. I hope you enjoy this park like me.

Small but very interesting museum. It was nice to learn about the history of the artifacts found in this area. I learned a lot. There is plenty of green space to enjoy with your family. The vacinity has great BBQ too. It's a nice way to spend a couple of hours.

How many places can say dinosaur bones were found there? Fascinating local paleontology, we’ll-presented, stay for a picnic on the grounds or stop in one of the many restaurants in the area.
A completely free exhibition telling the story of dinosaur archaeology near Uberaba and dinosaur natural history generally. Children love the huge outdoor models.
Maintained by Universidade Federal do Triangulo Mineiro it is interesting enough, but with some commercial input it could rival more well-known institutions.
I would have liked to make a cash donation, but there didn't seem to be anywhere to do so, and there was not much to buy in the very low-key gift shop.

I wasn't able to check-in because there was a huge sport event outside the hotel taking place and we were just spectators.
We will definitely go back as guests and try the SPA they have with so many varieties of services using the local minerals, mud and special waters😌. Make sure to bring a nice camera 🙌👍

A very nostalgic hotel. The park that surrounds it is very nice. They have a cycle rout and walking distance has an excellent cafe and next to it a very good restaraunt. On the weekends they have bahacas selling beer and finger food.
Impressive hotel from outside but the rooms are still from the 50-60s. Water was not working properly, light wasn’t working. Food in the restaurant wasn’t good and took more then 1 hour from the time it has been ordered.
I spent three fantastic days at this resort hotel. It is a historic place in a charming set up. The rooms are well equipped and clean. Excellent place for a family vacation. Lots of activities for children. They get their own daily program!
Huge and beautiful place. Due to its history, all the forniture has to look alike the original old ones. So it happens to be kind of a place with simple furniture mixed with a huge and elegant building that has its own lake and thermal waters.

Very good, the hotel exceeds all expectations in terms of greenery service, the city of Araxá is accessible from the banks of the BR 262 that connects to the triangle of Minas Gerais.
The place is amazing, is rounded by nature. The rooms and bathrooms are antique, and could be much cozier, but they match the arquitechture of the place. The people are kind and attentive. The food is the only thing I did not adore.
This an old hotel that had it's greatness 50 years ago. Nowadays it's overrated. Everything is old, the beds, showers. BUT it has it's charm. The landscape is beautiful and the natural thermals are great.

Stunning caves, in a remote location. Very unspoilt and a great tour guide ensured we learned a lot about the history. Small souvenir shops surround the caves and nice gardens also. Plenty of parking and not too expensive. It wasn't busy when we went, at midday in May
This cave is beautiful. It is large and has many different interesting rooms inside. My husband and I traveled to this cave without our 9 month old daughter, as we thought it might be too risky. It was a very smart choice. The cave has many stairs, uneven ground and there are no railings. It is safe but you have to be really careful with children. We would've had our daughter in a baby carrier, but it would have still been very inconvenient. Also, on our tour there was an elderly woman who attended. Even though a guide personal was provided to her to help ensure her safety, I watched her struggle the entire time. My own opinion if you are an elderly individual who has limited mobility, my recommendation is that this activity is not for you. As I previously mentioned, the ground in uneven, stairs going up and down (some very steep). Overall, we enjoyed this cave very much. Keep in mind that you have to pay to enter the cave and they only accept cash.
Very nice speleothemes and galeries, not huge as expected, still poor in scientific information, but at least count with a good infrastructure.
Very cool and large mine. Guided tour only though.

Contrary to what Google maps says, there is not a natural history museum here. There is one skeleton of a prehistoric animal inside the one cave, but that's all.
Amazing, a truly breathtaking experience. Our guide Paulo did a great job guiding us and answering all our questions. The cave has a good infrastructure and is beautiful.
Tours leave every hour, and you can only go with the guide. Plan ahead or you have to wait an hour!
