Pipa is a beautiful beach, when we visited over the Xmas holidays it was very clean and looked taken care of. In my opinion, it's best to arrive there early in the day when the water is at low tide. Visitors should also try by car or buggy try the raft ferry at nearby Gracendu & see the seaside mansions of Natal's political elite. At weekends & in January & February village maybe at times crowded but midweek visits are usually quieter & much more rewarding.
