Excellent place for kids, different levels depending on weight and sizes of each kid

If you're not getting there by Uber, taxi or a private car, it can take really long. The ride was about 15 min from the Tigre station. Place itself is fun, the staff is nice. We did level 1, 2 and 5 and it took us little less than 2 hours. Right after that, it started to rain, but 3 levels was more than enough. Looks easy, but it is not! Really fun and challenging though. Totally recommended. Would return for the other levels one day.

Great for ages 3 - 35! Anyone can enjoy the ziplines, rock climbing, and the best part of all... Ropes courses!! If you are afraid of heights, not recommended. Team takes time to make sure everyone is safely secured and have a great and adventurous time! Prices are quite cheap. You can stay there all day until the park closes! No extras fees. Food is amazing!

Museums
Located in the Tigre Delta of Argentina, Museo de Arte Tigre is housed in a stunning belle-epoque building that was once a social club for wealthy bohemians seeking respite from Buenos Aires. The museum showcases the works of renowned Argentine artists from the 19th and 20th centuries. Visitors can enjoy guided tours in Spanish and explore the magnificent grounds, which are popular for photography due to their resplendent architecture.
Very beautiful museum, small but has great art and architecture.

Great palace to walk around for a little bit, the art gallery is nice. Best part was seeing the history and old photos of the palace itself.

It is one of Argentina's most important museums. Works in its collection covers history of arts in Argentina. Has guided tours and workshops. It is located in a historic building that has amazing architecture and located on the river bank with scenic views. Worth a visit. Popular with tourists. Wear comfy shoes, take water, wear hat, sunscreen. Toilets available. Easy terrain, lot of easy walking. Great place for photography.

This art museum had stolen my heart ❤️ It’s one of the most beautiful buildings in Buenos Aires, plenty of art inside with different painting styles. Friendly stuff. Beautiful garden with the view int he river. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Very very beautiful palace with an interesting story. Visited Tigre during the winter and the building is still beautiful. Will definitely come back in the summer to enjoy the view and the river in it's sundrenched summer glory!

5100 ars in June 2025. So, many images, good view to the river. I think, average time of visiting 30 min.
Vladislav T — Google review
Museo de Arte de Tigre impresses with excess. To experience the type of extravagance that only too much money could buy back at the beginning of the 1900s. Excess on this scale happens so rarely that it'd be a shame to miss the spectacle. The museum exhibitions are amazing as well.
Ryan R — Google review
Beautiful, awesome. When I visited, the museum was closed, but I got great pictures at Museo de Bellas Artes at Tigres, Argentina. It looks like a European Castle, built by a French architect. It's a place with culture and history. I called it the Argentinian Howarts because this place has been used for films.

Specialty Museums
The Museo de la Reconquista is a museum dedicated to the history of the reconquest of Argentina from the British in 1816. It is well-kept and contains a lot of local history, but it is still closed for repairs in February. It can be visited for free, and it's quiet so you can see what's available without having to fight traffic. The service here is good, and there are few visitors which means you can get around without having to wait too long.
A must if you're visiting Tigre!

Beautiful and well-kept museum, loaded with local history, in February it was still 50% closed for repairs, so it takes 15 to 30 minutes to see what is accessible. Good service, little crowded

Tres de Febrero Park, also known as the Palermo Woods, is a vast green space in the heart of the city. It boasts several artificial lakes where visitors can rent pedal boats and enjoy a leisurely ride on the water. The park features a poets garden adorned with busts of literary figures and an enchanting rose garden showcasing over 18,000 roses.
Super pretty park with the greenest grass I’ve ever seen in my life. Extremely well maintained. We visited in August so no flowers were in bloom but I imagine it looks incredible in the summer. There are pedalos for boat rides but it was too cold for that when we were visiting. A walk through the park was one of the most pleasant experiment a we had in Buenos Aires.

It’s one of many green areas amidst the concrete jungle of Buenos Aires. This one is very well designed. It’s notable for its Rose Garden that also doubles as a Sculpture and Sculptors Park. An attraction is lake, home to geese and their goslings as well as a few ducks. The lake also has rentals for pedal boats that’s popular to children and families.
A ( — Google review
There are so many options to enjoy the day at this park. There are boats to rent as well as bikes. There is a lot of beautiful nature to enjoy, including the many geese running around. There are food and drink vendors available as well. The park is surrounded by a walking and riding track too. There is an outdoor gym available to use.

Such a gem to find in such a crowded and chaotic city. Def. visit!
Graciela C — Google review
I went, and I didn't like it much, to be honest. It was like going to an ordinary square, and nothing relevant happened—it was a bad experience. Moreover the grass is poorly maintained and the things they sell inside are a bit expensive which is quite unfortunate. Although it's open 24 hours, it's better to go on a weekend when it's hard to find parking.
Israel A — Google review
Great Place for a relaxing time !!!

Iconic spot of Buenos Aires if you like nature, gardens, and specially roses this is the place to be at. Perfect place for Instagram profile photos. If you have time for arts you can visit the Sivori arts museum for a moment of calm and inspiration. But if you like to have a ride on board of a pedal boat you can rent one at a convenient price.
Ale F — Google review
Gardens or Forests of Palermo. Large area of land that brings together several plazas and parks that includes an artificial lake, Lagos de Palermo, where you can rent pedal boats for half an hour or an hour. There is a large rose garden, paths, bridges, sculptures, and lots of green. Ideal for walking, resting, feeding the ducks and take many photos. In the surroundings there are streets closed to traffic where you can rent bicycles and pedal vehicles for adults and children. There are sales of water, soft drinks and snaks and it has public toilets.

Floralis Generica

Sights & Landmarks
Monuments & Statues
Floralis Generica is a remarkable steel flower sculpture located in Buenos Aires, inaugurated in 2002. It is a unique landmark designed by Argentine architect Eduardo Catalano, featuring hydraulics and photoelectric sensors that allow it to move. The giant flower stands at 66 feet high and opens at dawn while closing at dusk, reflecting the dynamism of time. Its gleaming steel and aluminum petals were commissioned from the Lockheed airplane factory, giving it a futuristic appearance.
Floralis Genérica is one of Buenos Aires' most iconic landmarks, located in the charming neighborhood of Recoleta. This massive metal flower sculpture is a stunning piece of public art that beautifully blends nature and technology. As of April 9, 2025 is currently undergoing repairs and no longer opens and closes with the sunlight as it once did, the sculpture still captivates with its sheer scale and elegant design. Even in its static state, Floralis Genérica is worth the visit. Set in a peaceful park surrounded by greenery and reflecting pools, it offers a perfect spot for photos, relaxation, or a quiet moment to take in the city’s creative spirit. While you're in the area, take time to explore Recoleta itself—a vibrant neighborhood full of culture, history, and charm. Stroll through the nearby plazas, enjoy the street art, and stop by one of the local cafes or markets. With its mix of classic architecture and lively atmosphere, Recoleta offers a truly Buenos Aires experience. Floralis Genérica might not be moving, but it still makes a powerful impression. Don’t miss it!

A lovely ornament to Buenos Aires😎. It’s a moving sculpture erected in 2002. Created by a local architect, this steel/aluminum structure opens up in the morning and closes at dusk… like a flower indeed😊

(Visited in Aug. 2022) | Totally worth the visit, the sculpture is pretty impressive. When I visited, the opening and closing of the flower wasn't really functioning, but it was still nice. Around theres places to sit and chill, so quite a nice spot to relax and take in the surroundings.
Leandro F — Google review
It’s a massive mechanical flower sculpture that has seen better days as the mechanism that opens it no longer works and it is missing one of its pedals. It is still beautiful and a site to behold and the surrounding park is sweet
Dov F — Google review
I’ve seen it by day. But also then still lovely to see. Definitely worth it to come here for a nice walk. The hop on hop off also stops nearby.
Nicolehrm — Google review
Our private tour of Buenos Aires started here at the Plaza de las Naciones Unidas, AKA United Nations Square, a four-acre park that showcases this massive, mechanized sculpture. Completed in 2002 by local Eduardo Catalano, the aluminum and stainless steel sculpture is just over 75' tall and has six petals that "close" at sunset and "opens" at sunrise. In the open position, it's angled and looks like a fancy satellite dish especially with the exposed pistil. The sculpture sits over a reflecting pool which also acts as low-key protection from curious human hands. Park entry is free. TIP: Go early as the place can get infested with tourists. We were there around 9am and had the whole place to ourselves for about 10 minutes. Great photo ops!

Children's museum
Museums
Located in the Abasto Mall, Museo de los Niños is a large and playful museum with interactive exhibits designed for children. The museum offers hands-on activities and classes like tae kwon do and flamenco. It also provides the option to organize birthday parties with catering and entertainment. This miniature city within the mall allows kids to role-play as bus drivers, TV presenters, doctors, cooks, builders, and more.
It was much better than I expected, my 5 year old daughter had a great time. A place where you can spend a few hours with your child in Buenos Aires 💫
Menent E — Google review
The museum was a little quirky and definitely a bit worn in places, but that made it feel more endearing. It’s tucked inside the Abasto Shopping Mall, which adds to the offbeat charm. Not the kind of setting you’d expect, but it works! We went on a weekday afternoon and were surprised by how quiet it was. Hardly anyone there, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and easy. No waiting, no lines. Just our son moving freely from one space to the next. The museum is designed entirely for kids to take the lead. My three-year-old absolutely loved it. He “hosted” a show in a retro TV station, shopped for groceries in a kid-sized supermarket, and played chef in the little kitchen. It’s highly interactive without being overwhelming, and the exhibits feel like they were built for genuine play. There’s a soft play area just for babies that’s thoughtfully set up, and everything feels well-worn in the best way - loved, used, and real. The design isn’t flashy or modern, but there’s a certain warmth to it. We bought tickets in advance, which I’d recommend since they were doing timed entry. After a couple of hours of play, we stepped right into the food court next door for a quick bite. Nothing fancy, but incredibly convenient. Then we wrapped up the afternoon at the arcade nearby. It had that nostalgic, old-school feel with gentle rides and vintage games that my son couldn’t get enough of. If you’re traveling through Buenos Aires with little ones, this place is worth making time for.
Candace L — Google review
Great experience for little ones. They develop some cognitive( problem solving, counting) ,social-emotional, language and communication skills when they are playing and having fun with other children.
Nora B — Google review
I didn't know what to expect, but it turned out to be incredibly fun for my daughter. The grocery store section gets super busy with a line forming, but otherwise it's pretty smooth with plenty of things for kids to do and roam free. Just make sure you watch them, because they can disappear fast in the sea of kids.
Ice W — Google review
Really fun children's museum with lots of hands on activities. My almost 7 year old daughter loved it, especially getting flushed down a giant toilet, breaking into the safe at the bank, and working at the play McDonald's. Some things weren't working but that's pretty typical for places like this, and the birthday party crowds could get overwhelming but were easily avoidable.
Daniel B — Google review
Absolutely great! I went to the room for children 0-3 y.o. It is well designed, comfy and has calefaction in winter. All is made in soft woods and cushions in cleanable panna. It seems clean and tidy for babies to crawl. They have young staff prepared for assistance and guidance at all times and in each room. If you have kids under 12 y.o, I strongly suggest going, there are other rooms separated age-wise, with clever activities and challenges.

It is not a bad place for the kids, but when we went (July), it was very hot inside and very busy. The water dispenser was out and you can't buy drinks in there (gotta go into the mall). My 6 yrs old twins had an OK time. They spend most of their time in the supermarket and the playground (2nd floor). If you're in the area, go check it out, but make sure you buy your tickets in advance.

It's maybe a bit crazier than you expect it to be. Our 3yo loved it. All of it. The sponsors could benefit from updating the equipment... 80-90% of the electrical or moving parts were broken in some way.

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Av. 9 de Julio is a renowned avenue in Buenos Aires, Argentina, known for its historical significance and iconic landmarks. It intersects with Avenida de Mayo and is famous for being the widest avenue globally. The central plazoleta features the city's most famous monument, the Obelisco, which commemorates the founding of Buenos Aires. In 1997, it was declared a National Historic Site to preserve its architectural aesthetics.
I’ve thoroughly explored this avenue, the widest in the world, and can say that it rivals the grand boulevards of Madrid and Paris. In fact, I found it to be much cleaner, and the buildings are better maintained than those in Europe.

Beautiful street! The widest street in the World - officially! A must see place when in Buenos Aires, so I just came here my first day, and crossed that on my to do list :) It's huge, and amazing, but still, doesn't make that impresdion of rush and hectic, has it's own rhytm and you can enjoy seeing pasding people and cars...

Bridge
Sights & Landmarks
Puente de la Mujer, a 160-meter-long pedestrian suspension swing bridge in Buenos Aires' Puerto Madero neighborhood, stands out with its sleek and futuristic design by architect Santiago Calatrava. This rotating footbridge reflects the city's dedication to its thriving art scene. The area also serves as a departure point for day trips to Colonia del Sacramento, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
An interesting and highly unique bridge with interesting architectural features. Not sure how much the beam lends itself to supporting the bridge, but it makes for a lovely feature along the river. Early in the morning you can get some lovely pictures. Its also a good starting point to explore the city, though this seems to be a very popular location in the evenings. Well worth a visit.

This "Woman's Bridge" is a rotating footbridge at Puerto Madero commercial district of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is of the cantilever spar cable-stayed bridge type and is also a swing bridge, but somewhat unusual arrangement. The architect has described the design as representing the image of a couple dancing the tango. Popular place with tourists walking across it. Lots of people here, careful with personal belongings. Wear comfy shoes, take water, wear hat, sunscreen. Free entry. Beautiful place. Lots to see. Toilets available. Cafes and restaurants available.

Puente de la Mujer in Buenos Aires is absolutely stunning, especially at night when it’s beautifully illuminated. It really leaves an impression – a true masterpiece of modern architecture. Elegant, sleek, and symbolic, it’s one of the city’s most iconic landmarks and definitely worth seeing in person.

Spectacular frim all angles and very photogenic. This architectural wonder is worth a visit in the day and also around sunset. See my pic for why.

Nice little stroll in Buenos Aires. Little crowded at night. Great location for photo-op, especially at night when the bridge is lit up. Close to San Telmo and Dorrego Square, can combine into late afternoon, night time enjoyment.

A nice place to visit in Buenos Aires, very interesting architecturally. Lots of restaurants and cafes around, very lively place. Several street performers add to the magic of this place. It is especially nice to watch the sunset. A very pleasant neighborhood in the city.

This is me and my mom’s favorite place!! We went there the first weekend we were in Argentina. It was really funn, there was a small disco place as well. At night it was really pretty, they put music everywhere, bars, shops, and restaurants. At the afternoon it was adorable, just watching the sunset with a cup of coffee was literal therapy. They have many different restaurants and bars. I definitely recommend going there 10/10 experience. Get a friend because you can’t drink alone 🤷‍♀️😉

A nice place to visit in Buenos Aires, nice area for a walk, good food options around. Recommend going closer to sunset to take some nice photos then dinner on one of the restaurants (recommended place Juan Bautista - see reviews) then experience the bridge at night.

(Translated by Google) To visit Perón's house, the tower, the presidential train, the mausoleum and the museum must be done only with a guide, you wait at the entrance to the villa and the guide comes to look for the people. The guide's explanation was very clear, telling not only the story behind each place exhibited, but also, for example, the materials with which they were built and the structure, and he answered any questions that may have arisen along the way. The journey is not that long, but it takes time, you can easily stay inside for 2 hours, but time flies. The farm, on the other hand, is beautiful, I went in autumn, the pleasant weather and the dry fallen leaves made contemplating the view simply beautiful. I recommend coming to everyone, as it is Perón's personal fifth, it may seem "heavy" for those who do not sympathize with the ideas or the figure of Perón and his movement, but outside of politics, putting politics aside, it is Argentine history. You may like the figure of Perón more or less, but the fact that he was a fundamental part of history is undeniable and I recommend that people try to take the tour, which is beautiful, from that point of view.

(Translated by Google) I visited the Castle today and I was fascinated. I read many reviews that criticize the deterioration of the place, but I want to provide another perspective. It is true that some parts of the castle show the passage of time, but that is also part of its history, of the generations that inhabited it and of everything that this house experienced. It is not easy to maintain a construction of such age, much less when the galleries are made of wood, a noble material but sensitive to the climate and the passage of time. Instead of seeing it as abandonment, I saw it as a sign of authenticity! The castle is still beautiful, imposing and full of history, and that is what I valued most about the experience, with a guide (Mariano) who told the story in an incredible way: clearly, passionately and with great respect for the facts and the place. It certainly made the visit even more special. Estancia La Candelaria

Sights & Landmarks
Estancia La Candelaria del Monte is an upscale castle hotel that offers a unique immersion into the Argentine rural lifestyle. Located in San Miguel del Monte, Buenos Aires Province, this historic estancia provides a tranquil and elegant retreat amidst picturesque landscapes. Guests can unwind, connect with nature, and partake in traditional Argentine countryside activities. The heart of the experience revolves around the revered Argentine asado, a culinary ritual deeply rooted in history and tradition.
I’d give this place 6 stars if I could. The grounds are absolutely stunning and there’s a great mix of guided activities (empanada & mate demos, walking tour, horse demo, etc) and self-paced things (swimming, hiking, etc.). You need to rent a car to get out here but it’s so worth it - and the drive from downtown BA is straightforward. I’m gluten free and the staff was incredibly accommodating - I never had to miss out on a meal/snack or given a crappy alternative. We speak enough Spanish that that’s the language we used the whole time here and it’s worth noting that everyone else there that day was Argentine (nice that there aren’t a bunch of big tour buses), but all of our email comms back and worth were in English so I think you’d be fine if you didn’t speak Spanish.

The place is beautiful and amenities are amazing. But!!! Everything that starts from interaction with staff members who are responsible for any type of administrative tasks is horrible not the less. To make a reservation - took us two weeks of constant conversations. They just ignore you for days and a simple conversation to know what are the availabilities took them a week to give us a complete answer. We tried to do a reservation over the phone- they just say it’s impossible and we have to use WhatsApp. After they were not available on the phone just for simple follow ups. To pay the reservation is a lengthy two steps process and took them two days to complete. To check in - the person at the desk technically has a memory of a fish. He forgets about you a minute you leave his sight. We Had to go back 3 times to talk to him before we got our room ready. And we had a child with us. So it was very unpleasant experience to go back to and ask for the same thing 3 times. We came here second time as we really love the nature and atmosphere here. But unfortunately lack of professionalism makes our stay less pleasant already for a second time. We hoped something will change for our second stay but it changed for the worse not better.

Pros: One of the best places I've ever been in my life!! The castle was so beautiful, our room had a balcony and it was amazing! Also there was a great schedule of activities all day long like empanadas + wine tasting, a tour around the estate, lunch with a show, yerba mate tasting, ghost stories, etc. Also the food was absolutely amazing, I never expected a remote estate like this to have a really wide selection of amazing dishes!! Everything from snacks to lunch to dinner to dessert was amazing, their chef is insanely talented! Cons: Lots and lots of mosquitos. Definitely bring bug spray. We had to buy some in the store. And there were a lot of bugs around the outdoor pool which made me and my girlfriend uncomfortable swimming there. 5/5, my favorite experience in Argentina and one of the best of my life!!!

We enjoyed our stay for the carnaval long weekend. We were in the suite real which was nice. I thought some of the space could be used better with a comfortable couch to sit on, but understand they are trying to use period furniture. The bathroom could also use an upgrade, but it was ok. Overall a good time especially for the price. The carnaval party/dinner was really cool with great entertainment. Massages were really good. Lots of fun activities related to wellness.

The bathroom is in desperate need for reservation, the toilet seat damaged and mold on the ceiling and it was poorly cleaned. At USD 500 a night for a hostel type room that was not clean we decided to leave after one night, as the alternative 3 rooms shown were in similar condition.

Nice place, but be careful, almost non existent wifi in bedrooms and very unreliable in common areas. In winter there is practically no hot water and very low pressure. I wouldn’t recommend to stay for more 1-2 nights at most.

Bad administration. Gaucho show very poor. Fiesta Gaucha the same. Meat from lunch average. Horse back riding is restricted to an small area. Tea served in foam cups. Is sold as premium but is less than average. The castle and park are beautiful.

You have different places: normal, vip with batch, and new ones are rigth now being created going to be the vipest ones. We will see then. In general is a good place, spacious, maybe hours to have bath are early. I want to have a bath at 23 hours. It's clean, and you can rent a kayak to navigate the lagoon.

You walk into this place and it seems like the outside world stops. Very quiet and cool. Beautiful experience! (Translated by Google) A beautiful church with great architecture and historical value for a town like Monte. It should be better preserved, the walls of the façade and the interior were collapsing. On the other hand, it should be noted that everything was very clean. (Translated by Google) It's interesting to see the building and know that it was moved from its original location to San Miguel del Monte without being dismantled and reassembled in its current location. Amazing! Admission is $1,000, and in addition to visiting the house, you can visit the museum located just across the street. There's no guide, but one is available to help if you have any questions or would like to learn more about the place. She'll be very friendly and will explain everything to you.

It's a shame the person in charge that day didn't take the time to recount the events and artifacts and take us on a journey back in time with the Ranch and its transfer.
