It's all about wealth in a lot of these stately homes. However, the estate was handed over to be on exhibition indefinitely. Good move. The horses are well provided for in the stables. The grounds are immense and lovely to walk through. Nice patisserie outside on the way home. Train from gare du nord was quick.

Incredibly beautiful palace, absolutely worth a visit and walk through the park. We arrived quite late when the sun was already setting, which provided fantastic views, will definitely be coming back for a longer visit. There's a parking place that costs 5€, or else there are many parking places in the village

Beautiful castle only 50km from Paris. It is surrounded by water and looks amazing. The museum inside is very interesting and beautifully decorated during events. The park is not as magnificent as others but still invites for a nice walk. Definitly worth the visit! Note that your regular ticket also includes entry to the large horse stable next to the castle.

Quite simply, incredible. The vastness of the land that surrounds the Château is something else. We paid €18 P/P for entry to the Château, the garden's, and the stables. There is also a train (one of those car trains) that will drive you around the gardens for €8 and this comes with an audio tour. The grounds host some wallabies, and the driver will stop for 5 mins for a photo opportunity. The Château itself was just incredible, having been left to the French Institute by Henri D'Orleans. He was an avid art collector, and one of the conditions for leaving the property to the institute was that none of his art collection was to be removed from the walls or leave the Château at all. All the art is exactly where it was when he left it. The gardens are incredible and host a series of buildings and an exquisite pond and canal. There are 5 hamlets that sit in place (used to he 7), and you can go in there and get some Chantilly Creme made the same way it's always been made. The horse stables were incredible also. It is basically a museum now and you can catch a horse show as well in the dome of it.

Well worth the 1 hour train from Paris 2,50 euros each way. Pay extra 6 euros to see the private apartments. This inexpensive add on was sold out and we were unable to visit this part. The grounds are spectacular and the library is jaw dropping. Plan to spend at least 1/2 the day visiting and commuting to and from.

The best chateau ever ! Best art and best swans and ducks. Wish I could live there. Gorgeous lunch and nature if you take this cute walk towards the 10min walk resto that I’ve forgotten its name (not the resto at the entrance that has many serious people who booked in advance). Have a nice cafe with chantilly and chill as you think about life

One of the most spectacular French castles. Always a pleasure revisiting the grand monument, Chateau de Chantilly! Thanks to my dearest friend Laure for bringing me back to all that splendor!

This cemetery was so great, I ended up going twice. Some of the headstones are so amazing, you have to just walk around and see where you end up. If I could have spent a day here, I would have. I do understand that headstones are close together and probably difficult to maintain, but in some areas, the weeds are so tall and areas are overgrown :(

The counterpoint to the glittering Parisian boulevards. Definitely worth a visit at any time of year, but especially outside the summer months. The gloomier the weather, the more beautiful it becomes. Creates a sense of closeness to people you have never known. Every grave tells its own story of transience, sorrow, but also creativity and inspiration. Take your time, you can easily spend a couple of hours here. It's best to give the Morrison tomb a wide berth, as any sense of reflection tends to be drowned out there.

A good site to visit in Paris. There are many interred here who have influenced and inspired you — even if you don’t know it yet. During peak tourist season there are a number of friendly attendants to provide maps and directions. Toilets are in the south. Some accessibility concerns: many ways are cobbled and some steep, although there is a slope going around the whole cemetery.

Of my 5 visits to Paris, I’ve been here 3 times. This most current visit was the quickest as it started to rain as soon as we entered. Our biggest mistake was not taking a photo of the map as soon as we entered. We ended up bumping into a couple of Americans with a map so we ended up getting a snap of theirs. We didn’t really have a solid plan. All I knew was that I wanted to see Jimmy and that’s it. We ended up on quite the adventure finding Jimmy. It seemed like we walked in circles. The great thing about this cemetery is that there are so many famous people interred here. And many notable families. With that said, you’ll see some elaborate tombstones. You do see a few employees walking the grounds. They all walk around during closing time, ringing their bells to let you know they’re about to close so you better skidaddle or you’ll be locked in. I’m going to do a walking tour the next time I’m in town so I can cover more ground. I’m always so overwhelmed when I’m there It is however super sad to see the graves that are clearly unattended, sometimes looking like they’ve been abandoned.

One of the famous Parisian cemeteries, we arrived there at the end of the day and therefore there were no crowds. At the entrance, there is a map with a list of famous people’s graves, most of which can also be found on Google Maps. All the pleasant impressions were spoiled by an unfriendly female guard who didn’t let me use the restroom 15 minutes before closing.

This iconic Paris cemetary is a place of incredible historical importance. It covers over 44 hectares and there are nearly 70,000 graves here. Millions of people visit here annually. On the day we visited, there were hundreds of people there, mostly from Germany, visiting one particular grave....that of American musician Jim Morrison. A security guard is permanently posted to guard his grave, such is it's popularity. Others interred here include Oscar Wilde, Frédéric Chopin, Marcel Proust and Edith Piaf.....to name a few. I highly recommend visiting this historically rich cemetary.

Fantastic day out, bought the Gold level fast passes so walked on to most rides, wasn’t overcrowded. Little bit more of a language barrier then say at Disney but it didn’t cause us any issues. Highly recommend visiting even if you don’t know the comics as the rides are amazing!

Good theme park in northern France, 45 minutes from Paris. If you enjoy Asterix and Obelix you will enjoy this parc. Themed after them. Easy to get to, easy parking. A bit expensive tbh 20 euro at the time of writing the review. The rest of the parc is a bit on the cheaper side of the theme parc pricing. Merchandise is a bit more reasonable priced then other Parcs, also goes for food and drinks. They have some really great coasters, and also a lot of lesser thrill rides for if you have smaller children. Indeed a parc for the whole family. The "Greek" part of the parc seems a little worn down and could use a bit of a overhaul but the Icarus ride there is really great. The best parts are the Egyptian area and the village area. Recommend if you are in the area!

Great theme park. Rides are great and queues are short. Longest queue is around 45 mins on bank holiday in August. They have worked hard on the theming. So much better than Alton Towers.

Great day at Parc Asterix on Halloween 2025. The park was decorated fantastically and the staff did a great job creating scary moments (my son was terrified by the chainsaw man). The Parc feels like it's split in two, one area around the lake feels more dated and in need of refurb, whereas the area with Toutatis is much better. The Parc has a great selection of rides and coasters - Toutatis in particular is amazing and worth the admission alone. Kids enjoyed it and I'd happily return. Would recommend it over Disney for rollercoaster enthusiasts.

Parc Astérix was hands down the best theme park experience we had in Paris. It’s more affordable than Disneyland Paris and offers a wider variety of rides; especially for thrill seekers. From roller coasters to immersive themed zones, the park delivers nonstop fun without the need for a fast pass. The only real downside is accessibility. Unlike Disney, which is easily reached via public transportation, getting to Parc Astérix requires a bit more planning. It’s located outside the city in Plailly, and while there are shuttle options, they’re less frequent and not as straightforward. Food options are pretty much what you’d expect from most parks; not the best, but they get the job done. Another thing to note: their operating hours are more limited than other theme parks we’re used to. Depending on the season, the park may close earlier or be open fewer days, so it’s worth checking ahead when planning your visit. Still, once you arrive, the experience is absolutely worth it. We loved our time there and would recommend it to anyone looking for high-energy attractions and a break from the usual tourist circuit.

Lovely place, full of amazing rides with a good choose of rollercoasters for everyone. Lots of activities live people in costumes and the Coliseum where performances take place. It's like Disneyland.

Great theme park, with an attention to the theme throughout the park and each area. The staff were obviously happy at work and had fun with the visitors. It was hot the day we visited and the staff had water pistols, a great fun addition to the queue. The park was very clean and well looked after, the rides all worked all of the day. My only negative is that Toutatis was not operating all day and no one seemed to be able to tell us why. We will definitely be coming back.

Brillant zoo. Lovely enclosures, staff were very helpful. All animals looked well maintained. Terrible weather and the zoo closed for safety and we were given a full refund. Didnt make the gift shop so my teddy collection is short 🤣 great morning out no crowds

A good experience. Small but well populated with a good range of animals, including a manatee which we had not seen before. We spent 4h30 on site, including a quick lunch and the little shop at the end. The enclosures looked big enough for the animals. Overall, we enjoyed and likely to go back at some point, reminded us of the London Zoo.

An amazing Zoo, with many animals and a lot to explore. My favorite points were: The big bird aviary where the birds can fly over, next you. The tropical greenhouse The savannah area where only a water feature and an electric fence seems to separate visitors from the animals.

Easily one of the best zoos I have been to. Went on a day where it was rainy midday and the zoo was nearly empty. We had great weather and the animals were awake and active. The enclosures seemed like they had planets of space for the animals within them and the animals seemed content, which made me happy.

On our holiday trip to Paris we visited the Paris zoo. I must say the experience was a delight. Plenty of animals in their closures. We specifically liked rhinos and giraffes. Restaurants in the area were spacious, clean and modern. The staff was friendly. I’m definitely going to visit there again

Visiting this zoo is an amazing experience. You can easily spend one whole day here. The park itself isn't really big, but it is very well organized and has a lot of animal species to discover. I also got the chance to observe the 3-weeks-old otocyon cubs, which were absolutely adorable. One really nice addition is the free activities which are held every day throughout the zoo; for example, you can see the animals as they are being fed (the presentations are held in French, but you can join in even if you don't understand the language). The animals seemed to be very well taken care of; some of them had lots of space in their enclosure. On the downside, there were also some which had much less moving space. All in all, this is a worthy experience if you love discovering animals and exploring a zoo.

great experience, a zoo in the heart of Paris. We visit to check the penguins and we are very happy that all the animals are active and not lonely unlike other zoo. Staff are very welcoming and kind to visitors. There’s a big souvenirs shop also inside, some staff will ask you to avail photos as souvenirs its a good idea. For its price i would say its worth it. The experience as a family is 100% and you make infinity of core memories! The organization, the set-up and walking distance between the rides are totally walkable. Hint, have your youngest kid at a hight of 120cm to be able to let them ride almost everything (Indiana Jones is 140cm hight requiret) The app crashed so many times, that I'm more than happy to delete it after the trip! Bring your own food! And beverage!

Absolutely worth the trip! Any Marvel Avengers fan will be in love here. Super fun rides! Absolutely loved the Avengers rollercoaster ride and the Spiderman ride. The Spiderman ride was super cool because you got to sling webs at enemies just like Spiderman. Awesome merchandise store with cool Avengers merch! Huge indoor dining area with lots of food options, including vegan options! Try the vegan salad at Studio 1, it’s great! Also you can get your picture with Mickey Mouse and other characters here!! Really fun, clean, exciting, nostalgic, amazing park! Really cool animatronic Iron Man looks so realistic! Life-size Iron Man Hulkbuster suit at the Stark Factory was so cool. Really enjoyed all the Stitch & Angel merch stores. I had a great time!!! Shout out to Walt Disney, thank you, I love you! Shout out Stan Lee, thank you, I love you! ❤️🥰🙌🎉

This place is amazing. If you have kids or are a kid at heart and have time to go, do it. Take comfortable shoes because the queues are immense. However the atmosphere is superb. The only down side is the price for everything on site. But well worth going just for the evening show and the music....... Warning the music is like an earworm and becomes an obsession if not careful.

Disney Studios is a fantastic park and (normally) i would go as far to say i prefer it over the main Disney park....but.... it is having major work done, and as such this has vastly decreased the park's size. The rest of it still keeps the Disney charm though. Despite visiting at the weekend we found the queues were not as bad as expected (apart from Spiderman). Worth bringing your own snacks in otherwise you'll be waiting a while and paying a lot for it. GOOD 👍 Attention to detail, especially in the sets. Looks fantastic. Some amazing rides. BAD 👎 Half of it is shut off. The old "Backstage Tour" ride has been rebranded and shrunk and is a shadow of it's former self.

The place is nice, but tiny. The attractions are good, and I paid for a "fast pass", which is utterly expensive, but you can only use it once in every attraction, which is absolutely unfair. You pay almost triple the normal fare, so you should be able to enter as many times as you wanted, like it is in Universal parks in Florida, but no. If you want to reenter one attraction, you have to do the normal lane. Unbelievable. And, to aggravate things, several attractions were damaged or closed, which made things much worse, because you have not a lot of choices. Rest aside, the park is enjoyable for the family as ever other Disney park (I know also the ones in Florida).

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Walt Disney Studios has transformed so much in recent years! The Ratatouille ride is still a must-do, incredibly immersive and very Parisian (currently under renovation but set to reopen even better in 2026). The new Avengers Campus is a highlight — Spider-Man and Flight Force are thrilling, and the whole Marvel area is full of energy and character encounters. Pixar theming adds charm throughout the park, and with the upcoming expansions (Frozen, Lion King, new entrance hub, Pixar lands), the future looks amazing. Crowds can be heavy, but the magic and quality of the attractions keep me coming back.

Doesn't have the wow factor as the main theme park but certainly is still a great day out. Make sure you leave enough time in your trip to fully explore Walt Disney Studios, do the rides and make sure you see some shows. Nice that they are next door to each other so heading from one to the other on the same day isn't a problem. Tower of Terror is still a great ride after all these years!

Disneyland Paris is an absolute magical experience! From the moment you enter, you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairy tale. The park is beautifully themed, the rides are exciting for both kids and adults, and there’s so much to see and do. The parades and shows are spectacular, full of energy and charm. Food and merchandise options are plentiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful, making the whole visit smooth and enjoyable. It’s easy to spend a whole day exploring everything. Truly a must-visit for Disney fans and anyone looking for a fun, unforgettable experience in France!

Fantastic!! Absolutely worth the trip! Delicious food, friendly staff, awesome rides, cool attractions, beautiful park, amazing park design, fun merchandise, plenty of places to enjoy, fun for kids and adults of all ages. The restaurants had a wide variety of foods! I loved their vegan options. Incredible design of the Star Wars area was my favorite. Fun parade of costumed dancers dancing down Main Street upon arrival was great. Everything is well done here, all of the staff are top notch. The rides are super fun and make you want to re-ride them immediately. The merchandise shopping has an endless selection all over the park. Beautiful fireworks light show at night upon park closing is definitely worth waiting to see. Definitely worth staying in a walking distance hotel nearby so you aren’t stuck waiting for public transit at the end of the night!!!!!!!!! Shout out to Walt Disney, we all love you!

Both parks are equally good so it’s well worth getting tickets for both. You can comfortably allow a day for each if you have never been before. If you go for a second/third/fourth time you can probably make a long day of it and do the rides and attractions you know you want to do in a single day. The parks are not as big as the ones in Florida but not far off. As ever with a trip to Disney, you can’t expect to turn up and get a table at one of the character restaurants so book those as soon as you’re able to. And check what the situation is with fast passes online before getting there. I believe the days of getting them with your entrance tickets are gone so definitely worth checking before you arrive. Meeting the characters is great but it absolutely devours your time in the parks so decide early on if you want to get into all that. Make sure you download the app before getting there and connect to the park WiFi on arrival. It’s great for seeing the wait times for rides and where to head if you’re doing rope drop. The only thing that can let it down for me are the staff but hey, Disney did decide to build it in France. They could do with taking a leaf out of Tokyo Disney’s book.

Incredible experience everyone needs to go regardless of age and gender! Staff were amazing and so helpful, we had fast track and can’t recommend it enough. They had a gluten free buckwheat crepes, chocolate covered strawberries and a turkey leg, it wasn’t much but all tasted very good. It was a very clean park with lots to do. The firework display was fantastic and so were the parades and shows.

​Absolutely magical experience, especially during the autumn/Halloween season! The decorations were incredible—the pumpkins, fall foliage, and festive touches created such a unique and fun atmosphere across the park. The main highlight is always the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle, which looked stunning in all its pink glory. ​We loved the character interactions; seeing Mickey and Minnie dressed up for Halloween was a special touch, and the parade was energetic and high-quality. Major shoutouts to the rides we experienced: Phantom Manor was a beautifully dark classic, and Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain delivered that thrilling punch of speed and excitement. Everything, from the themed snacks and treats to the overall upkeep of the grounds, was top-notch. ​A truly unforgettable visit—definitely recommend going during the fall months for the special festive ambiance!

An amazing place for adults and children alike. Especially those with children should visit it. Be prepared to be patient at some of the rides, but it's worth the wait. You must see the parade in the afternoon, and the evening show after the fireworks is something you will never see anywhere else.

This is a fantastic place to visit,from the UK it’s ideal,so close by plane,just like hopping on a bus. Basically it’s a dream come true for age groups especially the really young,to see the wonderment in their eyes will stay with us forever. All the staff we met were amazing,nothing was too much trouble,everything you could possibly need was well catered for and nothing was too much trouble,the only thing I would say though is pace yourselves because this place is vast and you can wear yourself out very easily if you try to do too much in a day. We will surely come again as it’s a destination that caters for the youngest to the grandparents,”absolutely awesome “.

Absolutely beautiful! With emersive headphones you can really imagine what life was like in the 1600s. We went in mid Sept and almost had the place to ourselves. Beautiful gardens. Highly recommend seeing this amazing chateau.

An absolute gem just outside Paris. Beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally well run. The audio tour is phenomenal, engaging, easy to follow, and full of fascinating context that brings the château and its history to life. The staff are warm, professional, and clearly care about maintaining the property’s magic. It feels like a hidden gem compared to the larger, more chaotic attractions. Take your time exploring the gardens, and don’t miss the rooftop views. They are breathtaking. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a truly enjoyable and well-managed cultural experience.

We only came to walk the gardens, so I can't speak about the inside tour. We had visited so many similar places, we assumed it wouldn't offer anything new. It's a bit expensive to just walk the gardens, but we were on vacation, so....you pay. There are many better locations that offer walking in the garden for free. Consider that before visiting here.

I you want to realize where Versailles comes from , you have to visit the chateau of Vaux le Vicomte. It took roughly 20 years to achieve this fabulous and human size castle that inspired Louis XIV to order the construction of the chateau de Versailles. Take the audio guide to enjoy the visit to its fullest. Check the hours because it is not open year round.

Nestled in the French countryside, this magestic chateau sits on a sprawling 1200 acres. Rich in history and legends. There a fantastic audio tour that is included in your 18 euros entry fee. Make sure you take advantage of it. The gardens are splendid designed and very relaxing to walk through. Golf cart rentals are available for 25 euro an hour. Don’t miss admiring the drive up to the chateau that is tree lined with gorgeous trees hundreds of years old. Absolutely beautiful.

Stunning Chateau with much less tourists visiting than Versailles. The views were stunning and my favorite part was walking the town after and eating at a local restaurant. You will need to get the audio guide to listen in English because the web app for the audio is only in french

Loved it. It is a beautiful palace with amazing gardens. Abundance of history. I love visiting historic places. Would have been nice if they offered guided tours in English, currently they only have guided tours in French. Absolutely recommend a visit. The town is also worth visiting.

Speaking of the inside, it's the most amazing place I have visited...comparing to Vienna Austria, Switzerland and Germany. Be there at 9:30am you you may get lucky like we did and have the grand ballroom all to ourselves. Don't forget to get a picture outside on the double staircase.

• Timing & Tickets: We visited in early November. On the first Sunday of November and December, entrance is free. We booked the free tickets online in advance, so we didn’t need to buy any. • Gardens: The gardens were just starting to show autumn colors. The mix of red, yellow, and orange in the trees was stunning and very peaceful. • Museum & Visit: The castle museum was great to explore and very family-friendly. • Facilities: There’s a café on site, but you can also bring your own food and have a simple picnic in the park.

It is a stunning castle, not too far from Paris and rivals the overcrowded Versailles Castle. Here we were able to visit and admire in peace the grand halls, gardens and parks of the castle. It was wonderful.

I like this way more than Versailles, very Peaceful. I didn’t go inside due to lack of time but the walk around the garden was stunning. From Paris you can take the SNCF R train from Lyon to Fountainbleu-Avon and then take bus 3401 to get here. If your ticket includes zone 5 or if you have Paris Visitor Pass then you don’t have to buy extra tickets for those rides.

Amazing place and as it was a freezing cold day in November we practically had the place to ourselves. Easy and cheap to get there on public transit. The Napoleon gallery was interesting.

Park is well organised but the map given to visitors needs improving as it has a bunch of logos on it but no legend for those logos. The train is quite good. The tiger enclosure looks small and the tiger a bit sad. One of the smaller cats seemed a bit out of sorts and kept going around in circles. The lion enclosure is quite big which is nice to see but they are a big group. The lemur enclosure was interesting. The guide told us there were about 7 lemurs that were excluded from the main group because they had been touched by visitors. You see in the enclosure the lemurs are friendly and walk around visitors to say hello and come right up close without barriers. One even jumped on a baby stroller so it is very easy to touch them. I was so stressed out the whole time someone would touch these curious lemurs and they would be pariahs. Why did the park not take this risk into account when designing the enclosure? You cannot trust all visitors to behave. There needs to be protection between visitors and the lemurs, like glass or a barrier. The monkey enclosure was super cool I have to say. And I really enjoyed the talk. We also went to the parrot park which is a 10 minute walk. It was quite nice.

A very good alternative to a day at Euro Disney for those who don't like rides, yet in easy reach should you be dropping off those who do. We were impressed at the scale of the Parc - lots to see, and no hurry to do so. Recommended to see the goats early (buy the bag of popcorn but keep it very high, and expect them to calm down only when the bag itself is empty and eaten!), then take the train ride to get a sense of the scale of the place, plus some of the cats are best seen from the train. Then go explore on foot, taking time to locate the cats where they are well camouflaged. If needed, there is a train stop at the farthest edge from where you can let the train take the strain on the way back. The ride back has an educational element and (spoiler) some sounds effects. Especially noteworthy are the very cute Lemurs and the pride of lions at the far end of the park, which can be very well seen from the impressive walkway and towers. For those whose French is not yet perfect, there are very good bilingual signs to help the English speakers understand the detail. A great day out. Amazing park. I have not seen too many beasts so close! The train was lovely too especially my little one loved it 😊

I would definitely recommend this place for family trips. There are a few food stands and one restaurant which have kid-friendly menu (sausages, hot dogs, waffles, ice cream, fries, etc). Of course there are toilets, which were quite messy when I visited this park. Also, you can ride a train around the park every 30 minutes for free! Another fun thing is the free 4D cinema, which is right next to the train station. The short movie was quite boring (for me, as an adult), but the kids liked it. And of course, there are many felines. They are categorized by their original continents. And there are also lemurs :). Overall, it was a pleasant visit. PS: please!!! make more of mamul souvenirs! I love manuls, and I was quite disappointed about the lack of souvenirs with their faces.

The big cats have very spacious places to stay. As a result, they are sometimes difficult to spot, but that adds to the safari feeling ;) Take the time to see everything, for younger kids it can be a lot of walking. There is also a train that allows you to see many of the big cats. To see the little cats you have to take the walking route. Overall it took us about 4 to 5 hours to see everything. All animals have shelters where they can hide well if they want to, for this purpose houses and night pens have often been built for the small cats where you as a visitor have a good view. In the middle of the day they use these places to rest. The cats I've seen looked healthy and showed no signs of stress or boredom. On the signs at the enclosures you will find fun and useful information about the animal species and also the names of the animals that live in that enclosure. In the petting zoo you can feed the goats popcorn, and you can also feed the carp that swim around the lemur island with this.

Great zoo with plenty of space for the animals, the train ride is helpful to see the extent of the park as it passes the large enclosures. There is a 2 Park / 1 day ticket available with the adjacent primate Zoo, and a 2 day ticket can be purchased for a small fee. Well worth a visit, just make sure you bring a camera with a long lens! :-)

An incredible adventure, it's a huge space, full of nature as well, you can find areas to eat and areas just to sit and relax, very satisfying

If your travels through Burgundy allow you take a 2 or 3 hour excursion, you should stop and learn about this 14th century castle re-creation project. They are building it with only period correct materials, tools and methods (while following French work safety laws). They use the materials on the property to source most materials for building - stone, sand, water, and clay. They get the lime they need by processing purchased limestone. Workers are usually there actively building so you can watch. I highly suggest a guided tour to fully appreciate the goals and effort put into this project. They've be at this for ~25 years. They have big plans, so they'll like be actively building for at least another 25 years.

Great location lots of cool things to see and read about. Showed up on A weekday in the summer no line buy a ticket. The staff were very helpful and good at speaking English and explaining in English. Over half the signage is translated however generally the signage within the castle is not. We had a wonderful visit

Fantastic opportunity to learn more about medieval castles and how they were constructed! Be advised though: you need to be at least conversational in French to get the most out of your visit. Far from all signs are translated and most of the guides and artisans only explain and converse in French. Likewise for the shop - I couldn't find a single book in English. Information leaflet and plan of the grounds is available in most major languages though.

Absolutely loved our visit! They’re lots to see, many people working their craft. Restaurant was alright but very basic and commercial. Not the same medieval vibe as the rest of the park. For sure worth a visit!

Absolutely loved this visit to a 12C castle being built in the 21C. Modern workers have been building a medieval castle using the technology and techniques of medieval Europe to build this castle twenty years. The skills they've learned through this experiment in practical archeology, were instrumental in rebuilding Notre Dame. I could have spent the entire day here.

We travelled all the way from Australia to see this site, and it didn't disappoint. The project is amazing, educational and well organised. Even visiting on summer holidays- it was busy- but due to the large nature of the park, it didn't feel overly crowded. Plenty of places to have a picnic if you bring your own food. A great day out!

Nice place to visit with the kids. There is not much to do for small kids other than walk around and inside the castle. It's nice to see how the ropes, tiles and metal forging. Highly recommend to go during the week of you can. Also the restaurant is nice for drinks and ice cream and the prices are good. Recommend getting tickets online since they have some discounts only online.

The magnificent basilica is worth more than a visit. It is profound place that may change something within you.

This basilica and the village it is located in are worth a very large detour. We stayed there in middle October, with still great weather, very quiet but impressive.

The Basilique Sainte-Marie-Madeleine in Vézelay is absolutely breathtaking. Its Romanesque architecture and peaceful light fill the space with a sense of awe and serenity. Walking up the hill to the basilica feels like a quiet pilgrimage through history. The view over the Burgundy countryside is unforgettable. A truly spiritual and moving place to visit.

A quiet, un spoilt hilltop town with a beautiful basilica. Free to wander round and take in the atmosphere. The start for many pilgrims. I am not religious but I was strangely moved by the experience of wandering round this place of pilgrimage. A relic of Mary Magdalen is on view in the beautiful crypt.

Wonderful Romanesque/Gothic structure. It was empty when we arrived at 9 am on a Mondy. Striking nave in its simplicity. Don't miss the crypt under the altar where they claim to have some of Mary Magdeline's remains. The viewpoint at the back of the building is also worth the short walk.

Really loved the audio guide that gave great information but was entertaining the way it is done. Took us about an hour and a half to go through and a great picture of the non wine history in Beaune. Especially liked the pharmacie room and the presentation of every day life in those times.

This was definitely the highlight of our visit in Beaune. The building used to be a hospital for poor people and is now very well restored. Entrance fee is Euro 12 - you can book online or pay at the spot. The roof and the building itself are very beautiful but they cannot be seen from outside. You need to purchase a ticket. I am glad we did.

Truly beautiful: the roof, courtyard, musuem displays, the numerous works of art. Very well curated, easy to understand the history and acts of charity carried out here. The Last Judgement altarpiece is a true masterpiece and is not to be missed, very powerful Practically had the place to ourselves after 6

Great place to learn about how medicine was practices since the 15th century. Well restored and well presented. Their audio guide is an excellent teaching and learning tool, especially the “if you would like to learn more” green button.

Step back in time of old style hospital. Magnificent building with a tiled roof you can see best from inside the large courtyard. Well worth the entry fee. Booklet or headphones self audio tour are included with ticket price.

Working for a Hospice charity, I enjoyed seeing the granddad of Hospices in Beaune. This town was caring for the vulnerable from before my country was even discovered. Amazing tour and worth the ticket price to enter.

A must have seen in Beaune. Yes the roof is great. But for me the history of the very old hospital and its foundation fascinates me more. You get an audioguide, which I highly recommand. The tour is about 1 to 1,5 hours. A lot old hospital furnitures and equipment. Entrance was 12€, which is ok for such an historic place!

Cool and iconic in Dijon... easy to find. It's nice to find it without Google maps to make it for Cool... just follow the signs on the street floor.

A modern old town, just follow the golden arrows for sightseeing. The shops are neat and orderly. I saw people slipping after the rain because the floor is slippery. It is recommended to wear shoes a good shoes. There is a restaurant that supports Down syndrome. I recommend you try it.

Palm-sized and polished by countless hands, the little owl carved into Notre-Dame’s wall turns a side lane into a ritual. Touch with your left hand and make a wish; the brass pavement plate with the owl logo marks the stop and small arrows carry you along Dijon’s Parcours de la Chouette. This is the route’s namesake and most photographed moment: modest stone, big civic idea. I like how the trail knits small details to major landmarks - marker, brief engagement, onward wayfinding - so one carving speaks to grander sites across the old town.

Super nice tour especially for kids which are keen on discovering the next owl of Dijon on the way. All nice attractions can be seen on this journey.

Great mid evil city with not a lot of tourists. Great wines from around the region, many fine restaurants and a truly great French market place

Loved randomly following footpath markers to discover iconic landmarks in Dijon. You can buy a €4 map from the tourist office and do it in an organized manner or just set yourself a challenge to see how many you can find on your travels.

I like it - brings good luck if you place your right hand on it :) A tip from a local: Once there, make sure to check the rooftop of the building to the right of the owl, you'll find beautiful owl and cat.. keeping an eye on the city ;) (photo below)

The Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière is one of Lyon’s most iconic landmarks, visible from almost anywhere in the city. Personally, I usually find the interiors of Orthodox churches more spiritual, but this basilica’s interior really amazed me — it’s beautiful and inspiring. The exterior is just as impressive, and the panoramic view over Lyon from the top is fantastic. You can get there easily by tram, or hike up if you prefer (which I’d also recommend). Nearby, the Roman Theatre and archaeological site are free to visit and very well preserved. Both the basilica and the ruins are definitely worth seeing.

Arriving late evening in Lyon, our Uber driver took us here on a quick detour to our hotel ‘because it is so very beautiful, and you guys can see view of Lyon skyline from there’. Indeed it was a beautiful Basilica, majestic even in the dark of night. Indeed it was an impressive view of Lyon. Very grateful of him, blessed his soul. I got the chance to go back the next morning, and although did not got the chance to go inside, my appreciation grew even more about the opportunity to visit. A must go when you are in Lyon. If your hotel is not nearby, they have tram from the city center that stops directly in front.

Beautifully located on top of a hill, and Best to take an Uber to get there. There is also a vista point on the side of the church with great views of the whole city. If you can walk down the hill, you can visit a nice museum with an outdoor Greek theatre. You can also take a short cut and walk the stairs down the hill

Lovely place to visit in Lyon. Get a day ticket for € 6.90 and couple of trains later you are there. Beautiful views of the city (sunset as well). Basilica is amazing. Don't compare it with Vatican however it is grand in its own way.

It is a marvelous place to visit even when you are not Christian. The interior of the basilica Notre-Dame of Fourvière in Lyon, is tremendously high. The walls are astonishing and it drops your mouth down to the floor. I have not taken many pictures inside because my eyes were focused on all the tiny details in each stunning things my eyes would lay eyes on. If one thing to visit in Lyon, it clearly is there and Paul Bocuse Market^^.

What a beautiful basilica one has the pleasure to see, adore and to participate because during our vist a mass was held. The church has an endless history to show, not only in the holy Christian sense but also in its rich architectural designs. A real treat to be there.

Until you take your breath away, what an impressive basilica it is. A great architectural construction. It is definitely worth a visit. And to pray in peace. May St. Mary be vigilant.

Really enjoyed my visit here - so many interesting exhibits and things to see. I think the best part is the fact that the films referenced and the props from the films are films that are very well-known, not just random French films. Would highly recommend to people as an activity in Lyon, however my one small issue was that we bought tickets in advance but still had to line up in the same queue as everyone else, so buying a ticket in advance was fairly pointless, only decreased the price slightly. But other than that really loved it.

AMAZING! I think should be a must do when you visit Lyon with kids or just if you like movies and a different type of art. They have created incredible mini and real size scenes from movies and normal life things! A different way to know history as well! We went without tickets and ending paying less because they have a family packet. If you are 2 adults and one or more kids, it is definitely cheaper.

Worth visiting. You should go and see everything they placed in the museum. At first we enjoyed the props & artifacts from famous movies. However what we liked most is the miniature room, carefully detailed and amazinggg

Incredible and unique museum. They have some really cool pieces from films, which are still interesting to look at even if you haven’t seen them. The miniature section was a good surprise also—they are so detailed and realistic! While it is a bit on the more expensive side, it’s worth it and it is an independent business.

Walking through this museum felt like stepping straight back into my childhood (I was born in the mid-80s), and it was nothing short of magical. From Star Wars to Batman 1989, from Aliens to Beetlejuice, the collection is packed with iconic treasures that instantly spark memories of the films that defined an era. According to one of the staff, the Darth Vader mask here is the only original one on public display today, that alone is worth the visit! What sets this place apart is how personal it feels. I love the great art museums of France, but this was different, so much more relatable. Every piece triggered a wave of nostalgia, reminding me of movies I adored and had nearly forgotten, and reigniting the sense of wonder that first made me fall in love with cinema. These films came from the golden age of moviemaking, where practical effects and early CGI blended to create timeless magic that today’s movies rarely capture. Seven floors are filled with cinematic history, and while you can see it all in about 1–2 hours, it’s the kind of place where you’ll want to linger at your favorites. For me, highlights included the Darth Vader helmet, the full Batman 1989 suit and vehicles, the wonderfully complete Beetlejuice exhibit, and the jaw-dropping animatronic Alien that makes you feel like you’re right on set. Seeing Thor’s hammer (Mjolnir), Iron Man’s glove, and nods to classics like Indiana Jones, Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji, The Mask, and even Fast & Furious only added to the thrill. If you grew up with movies from the late 80s through the early 2000s, this museum is pure nostalgia wrapped in cinema magic. It’s a time machine back to Saturday nights at the theater or trips to Blockbuster, and it will leave you smiling long after you leave. I can’t recommend it highly enough. As a bonus, all the staff that work there are friendly, knowledgeable and passionate! Update: the top floor which houses the miniatures was closed when we arrived for renovations. If this is important to you, come back when they are completed.

fantastic experience! is very interesting and fun, perfect for people who loves cinema! staff is very friendly and they speak english very well so its perfect for tourists. there is a toilette in every floor, and also a dog bowl! i enjoyed it a lot!!

As someone also work behind the magic, visiting this musuem is like a dream, from costume to props, set to figures… You can’t miss this, this is prob is the best musuem I’ve seen about cinema, movies. The visit was like a dream come true, from my fav movie Mary Poppins from 1964, to Jurassic world, kill bill to Beetlejuice, alien to Spider-Man! Last the not least, the Wes Anderson section, with some movie items and making off?! Seriously I’m so glad I come to Lyon for this!

The food is realy horrible. Vegetables taste bad, nearly pureed. Pasta was hard (burned) burgers were dry, hardly any Meat on them and french Fries are extra. Le comptoir des colibris is as bad as the park is good. Bring your own food and enjoy the beautifull park

Generally a beautiful park, very green and nicely designed when it comes down to aesthetics and topics. Parking was easy and well managed. Loads of staff trying to fill the parking lot in a way that makes sense, friendly and clear in their expressions. As with any park, there is a lot of walking involved and especially for small kids you'll need to be prepared to bring a pushchair. The toilets were absolutely yucky. I was only in the men's toilets, but it smells of wee everywhere, you're literally walking in it, the whole floor is covered in it. I know men can be yuk but some of those toilet I really wouldn't be surprised if they haven't been cleaned in a while or are leaking. I have never seen so much dodgy liquid on the floor. It really reeked. Some toilets have massive queues, not just the ladies', also the men's toilets. What surprised me though is, that our friends' daughters tried to get to the ladies and were trying to find a free cubical and three (!!!) ladies were so rude and pushed them out of the way. (which would be another downside, in some toilets you can literally see the cubical doors when you stand on the path). Shops/coffee and food stalls are understaffed. Particularly during high traffic periods. I.e. there was a bird show to begin in the arena and there was a massive (seriously, it was huge) queue trying to get in. There was a food/coffee stall with two windows, only one window was open. One lady was working and the first thing she said was, that she had no coffee as they ran out. When the show ended, the queue at that shop was huge, by then the second shopkeeper didn't make much of a difference. Same with the bbq restaurant we got there just before the lunch storm hit and we already had to wait about 20min to get our order and the queue started just behind the door (so really not long). By the time we finished and walked out, the queue was around the corner alongside the building, who knows how long they had to wait. One till. Having two people using the same cash machine is not really efficient. They'd need at least 3, then the queue started on the pick-up side, because the chicken needed longer cooking times. So all in all not very efficient. Two coffee machines (you get a coin at the till) but one machine had an error message in French (needed maintenance, but was still working), that many people couldn't read nor knew how to get rid of the error message. So people started queue on the other coffee machine. A few other food stalls were closed, it was a hot day, I think about 34°C. Hardly any shade anywhere. So in order to get some drinks, a couple of grown-ups had to walk through half the park to get something for the rest of the group, as we tried to find shade with the little kids. If you are not planning the visit ahead, try to avoid too sunny days. Bird show was OK. A bit disappointing that they have so much staff in that arena but then decide to just play a boring recording and then let the birds fly. Other parks actually talk about the birds and give facts about the specific birds on display, also are interactive with the crowd. Here you just sit down, a tape plays, trainers let the birds fly over your head, then they sit down in the middle of the arena and all birds walk out like in a circus good-bye. Not impressed. The range of animals is quite impressive. And beautiful birds, that seem to be kept in good conditions and clean. Butterfly house, and there was a penguin/fish area, which unfortunately was shut down and we couldn't find access to the Australian area with the kangaroos which our daughters desperately wanted to see. The only path we could find to go there seemed to be closed with a gate but no further information. It's also advisable to follow a set path. Going to see what interest you may be too chaotic and it's easy to get lost in the park. Also walking everything multiple times is suboptimal. Oh one more thing... to get out of the park: ONE (!!!) turnstile. Why they didn't just open the bloody gate is beyond me. We had to QUEUE (!!!) to leave the park. Ridiculous.

Good place to spend the day with the family. Make sure to buy your ticket ahead of time or you may be waiting in line for a long time. They are not very organized. The place is in need of renovations, bathrooms are old, dirty.

Our 3rd visit to this park. We love it. Our kids love it. My folks love it. Always something new to see. Always clean. The birds and other animals seem happy and well cared for. Saw one of the shows this time - for the first time - and it was brilliant. We will be going again on our next trip to the area.

Safari is best part! You can spend whole day with kids here. Each part of the zoo is worth to visit. Super clean and all the animals are healthy. It shows they are really good in their job. Great place to visit once.

Wow Safari Peaugres is a fantastic destination, especially for families. We had a wonderful time exploring the park — it’s well-designed, spacious, and offers a unique opportunity to observe animals up close in a semi-wild environment. One of the highlights was being able to drive through the safari section in our own car. Watching animals like zebras, giraffes, and ostriches roaming freely just a few feet away was an unforgettable experience. The park is very well-managed, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They ensured everything was safe and easy to navigate. Even without a car, the rest of the park offers plenty to see on foot, including impressive enclosures for lions, bears, and other wild animals. The walking trails are clearly marked, and there are informative signs about the animals, which make it both fun and educational for kids and adults alike. What we appreciated most was the thoughtful layout and the effort taken to provide a natural habitat for the animals. Clean facilities, well-placed rest areas, and food options made the whole visit comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend Wow Safari Peaugres to anyone looking for a fun and enriching day out — with or without a car!

Great place with children. My 7 year old daughter had fun. Car safari took an hour. Moderately crowded for the weekend but manageable. The safari on foot is huge so takes around 4/5 hours to complete with the Animals kept in their natural habitats. A few food and drink options but be prepared to queue.

A renowned zoo located in Peaugres, this area is one of the largest safari parks in EU and is home of over thousands animals from various species. People can discover the park by car or on foot to see animals like elephants, lions, giraffes and more. It also offers educational activities for children.

The parc was very nice. A lot of animals to see. In the zoo we loved the mansion with the bats and stuff and we loved the part with the lions and tigers. The safari part of the parc, was great to see too. One of the beats stood up against our car. Luckily no damage, so it was nice to see it so upclose. It was nice that you could park your car in the shade underneath the solarpowered roof. For lunch a lot was sold out. We wanted a sandwich but ended up with chicken nuggets and fries. The waterparc was nice too. On a hot day it was nice for the kids to be able to cool down a bit.

Excellent and educational time spent at this Chocolate Museum. We were signed up for a chocolate and wine tasting which took place in a classroom with both a wine and chocolate expert. Learned so much about the different kinds and qualities of the chocolate they produce. Each piece was paired with a complementary wine. A GREAT experience. The museum itself is easy to walk through and understand - highly recommend this experience for chocolate lovers (my bride) and not-so-much chocolate lovers like me.

I had the most wonderful experience at La Cité du Chocolat Valrhona. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the history and craftsmanship that Valrhona is known for worldwide. The exhibits are interactive, educational, and full of surprises — perfect whether you’re a chocolate lover or just curious about the journey from cacao bean to finished creation. The highlight for me was the tasting experience. Pairing Valrhona’s incredible chocolates with wines from Cave de Tain was unforgettable — a perfect balance that truly reflects the richness of the Rhône Valley. This is more than a visit; it’s a celebration of heritage, flavor, and passion. Absolutely worth the stop if you’re in the region.

Visited the shop after reading about the chocolate and seeing some of the reviews. The chocolate is lovely and the chocolate shop is well laid out. Samples are available to help you choose although they are so tasty that they may make your choice even harder. We selected a cross range of the individual chocolates from behind the counter after sampling some on the way in. The young lady who assisted us from behind the counter was so friendly and knowledgeable. She made suggestions and allowed us plenty of time to choose. Fabulous experience. Hubby waited outside with our dog , having noticed this the lady at the shop reception counter (providing some samples) went out to give him a sample. The chocolate is Devine the shop was lovely and the staff are even better.

One of the worst experiences i have ever had, totally not worth it. The entrance fees should be 2 euros maximum not 40 euros for a small family with absolutely no return, and the prices in the boutique is over rated. Other than the long journey, it was a total waste of money and time.

Pretty cool chocolate museum. It's modern and high tech. There's interactive videos and emersive displays. You also get chocolate samples so you can learn what real quality chocolate tastes like. My only complaint is that now other chocolates will always be waxy inferior chocolate compared to Valrhona chocolate.

Tip: Bring a bag! Really fun and educational chocolate ‘factory’ with lots of chocolates as free giveaway. A bit smaller than other chocolate factory. But all of the animations and techs were working well. Can get a bit busy as the screens were interactive whilst sampling chocolates. Kids get a special ‘treasure’ hunt quest and free gift at the end! There’s also a little quiet playroom at the end of the visit just before the cafe - for those who wish to have a little quiet time.

If you enjoy a good piece of chocolate, the museum is definitely worth a visit! The place is rather small, but there is definitely a lot to read and discover, also for children! Make sure to be ready for some tastings and don't miss out on the staff's presentations! It was very enjoyable :)

One of those places you come upon and it blows you away. The creation of a magnificent structure over 33years by a postman which leaves its legacy for others to see. His quaint messages for life are significant in today's world

Very interesting surreal place to visit and explore. There are lots of intricate and whimsical details to look at and enjoy. It's really cool to see one person's dedication to building something that he dreamt about and put his life efforts into.

Le Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval, or the Ideal palace of postman Cheval. This place is a hidden gem of the art i like. Do you like Escher, Dali, and Gaudi? Then you will enjoy this 'Palace'. Don't be fooled, though. It's not that big or will keep you interested for an entire day, but it is a must-see if you are in the neighborhood.

Cool castle made of polished stones, worth a detour. A colossal solo work of 33 years by the horse mail man.

sadly no dog allowed (would be enough if they could go to the garden, but not inside the castle). small, today was a bit overcrowded, despite a weekday, but interesting place. the shop is disappointing, I didn't find anything ehat I liked and I buy usually in these shops something. buy your ticket in advance, so you get in quicker. enough free parking slots.

Very beautiful, naive art is awesome. It is a fantasy place, a place which shows, that all the dream can come true.

Er had a very good time in Walibi Rhone-Alpes. The rides are good. The new ride Mahuka ist awesome. The new water-play area is nicely designed with a lot of nice details. I loved the effort in the details of the new area and ride. The other rides in the park makes also a lot of fun. Only the Show LE POUVOIR DE GAÏA do not fit in the entertainment Level with the park. The actors and stuntman are good in their jobs, but the show and story was for kids. There’s a few nice effects and two major stunts, but that’s all. There’s also a few fight choreographies that I saw in other parks better, and to many chatting. And only one Charakter speaks live. I know that shows with these concept runs better, but the entertainment is suffers under these conditions. And the stage is awesome, there so many options to bring that show to a new level of entertainment with the crew and the stage. Please use the chance. All the Employees, at the entrance, the security, in the Shops and at the attractions are very friendly. The Park was not busy at the day but the employees are fast at the attractions so we had only a few minutes to wait. It is nice to see, that the employees working fast at rollercoasters leading to a high guest throughput. As I said, the show-crew is good, but the show must more entertain adults and must have more action.

We visited the park on a mid-week day in August. Overall, it was fun — a bit crowded, but still manageable. Several rides offer a single-rider line, which can significantly reduce wait times. It’s also a good idea to follow the advertised wait times for each ride and plan accordingly. We purchased a ticket that included lunch, which was a nice option and worth it. However, there were a few drawbacks: some rides only open around midday, which is unfortunate, especially on busy days. The weather was hot, but there wasn’t enough shade throughout the park, and there were too few water fountains available for refilling bottles.

Nice amusement park with a good variation of attractions. Several attractions for the small children (also a great water play park), and also nice roal coasters for the dare devils.

Amazing park, extremely high quality coasters. Very friendly staff! The rides are unique and all of them are special and much more intense than the ones at other and bigger theme parks. All of them are unique and you have the possibility to try 3 completely different ride experiences, one of them being an incredibly smooth Vekoma Boomerang.

As I visited almost 200 theme parks Walibi Rhone-Alpes is one of my all time favorite theme parks. I visited it for the fist time two years back with roller coaster club and I was amazed by everything right after I entered the park. I was curious if my impression will be the same when I travelled alone this time. And it was even better. Very friendly staff was giving me small talk on security check, at Mystic station and even Mahuka station. Just because I was wearing my Walibi Holland T-shirt. The park is not big, everything feels very close. The park does not focuse on quatity or size/scale but on quality which I am a huge fan of. Food is delicious. High dive show is very impressive. Theming around Mahuka and Mystic is phenomenal. This park know where to invest and how to run park well. Parking is included in your admission. Number one park in France. No discussion. Walibi Rhône-Alpes is a small but beautiful theme park that has flourished in the past few years. The addition of Mystic in 2019 put this park on the map, and the new for 2024 Mahuka gave it a well-rounded ride lineup. Although this park seems to cater more towards families, you can have a lot of fun here as a thrill seeker. Getting to the park with a car is fine, as long as you don't get stuck with some of the closed roads in the area. Getting here with public transport is seemingly impossible, but the parking is free. The park is clean and tidy and has three little themed areas that you can explore. The theming is not out of this world, but I did really like the uniqueness of the Mystic area. The rides are unexpectedly good. Mystic is smooth and fun, although the wait can get annoying when they run it on one train. Mahuka is amazing fun and also has a great capacity considering the trains only hold 9 people. The baggage system is unconventional, but it worked. I also really liked the offering of the Mahuka pass, which was limited to one per person per day so that everyone could have the chance to experience this ride at least once. The only problem I had with this park was the food. There is a beautiful almost restaurant just outside Mystic and we should have just eaten there. Instead, we got some chicken tenders with fries, and those weren't great. This is still an amazing park, and the low height requirements make it perfect for aspiring thrill seekers. I am excited to see what the future holds for Walibi Rhône-Alpes.

I recently visited this amusement park, and I have to say it was one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had. The roller coaster queues were absolutely ridiculous—over 1.5 hours for a ride that lasted only 3 minutes! It's hard to believe that in this day and age, a theme park can't manage its lines better. To make matters worse, we noticed that some of the seats were marked as "disabled," which seemed like a lazy excuse for lack of proper maintenance. It gave the impression that the park is more focused on profits than on providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Speaking of profits, the fast track tickets for over €7 per ride felt like an outright scam, exploiting the long wait times instead of addressing the underlying issues. It’s frustrating to see a park take advantage of its visitors like that. When we finally got hungry and decided to grab a bite, the situation only got worse. The lines for the fast food restaurants were just as long—about an hour wait for some of the worst cheeseburgers I've ever had. They were cold, seemed precooked, and honestly tasted like they had been sitting in a fridge for days. I've had better quality food at gas stations! To top it all off, the security personnel were rude and unhelpful when we had a simple question. It was clear that customer service was not a priority for them. Overall, I left the park feeling frustrated and cheated. With such long waits, poor food quality, and a lack of courteous staff, I cannot recommend this amusement park to anyone looking for a fun day out. Save your money and go somewhere that values its guests!

Dinner with team after congres day. 2 had filets de perche this fish filets were baked with a tartare sauce nothing to have a waw feeling. 1 penne ciocarna ( see picture) also no real wow effect missong of spices and 1 spaghetti fruits de mer seems was ok. white swiss wine could be better. Really good pizza, I recommend the « jet d’eau pizza » Only bad fact is that the crust was too thin.

Staff were really friendly and accommodating despite a language barrier. I was even given a free salad! Food was some of the best me and my friends have ever had and is well priced. The restaurant atmosphere was incredible as well. We all agreed we would absolutely eat here again 👍

I am travelling for work. Great food and even better people. Seems like a family owned business. I had the pugliese pizza and was amazing. But hey!! Be careful with the spicy oil they offer 🥵very hot

The food was delicious and the waiters really helpful to translate to English for us. They even had a English menu. The place was warm and the pizza oven in the heart of the restaurant. It felt like an authentic Italian family business.

Do NOT go up this on a hot sunny day. It’s a glass ball that collects solar gain and is like a sauna. There is no window so the sphere is stifling and it’s difficult to breathe. Fortunately it’s a short ride. Don’t do this if you are claustrophobic.

A brilliant way to see Grenoble, even better at the Citadel at the top.

I loved the cable car ride and the nice view that you get. Although the ride is for very short duration, riding it by using day tourist pass is affordable. The view from the hill top is very nice and one can see the entire Grenoble and the snow covered (partly/fully depending on weather) hills. There is a nice meandering jogging way down. If you have time definitely try it to get a different type of hiking experience in the city .

Surprisingly for a Monday there was quite a queue for tickets. Each cable car bubble is pretty small so it felt a bit crowded but always safe. At the top there are great views of the mountains and the city of Grenoble. A few caves to visit too.

Worth the trip up to see this historical city. Make sure you walk down to see so much more. The steps were best unless you have hiking shoes, as the Rick's in the road are sharp.

Fantastic, very touristy nowadays but there are still some hidden gems that are quiet but you’ll need a car to find them (one was through an industrial estate so very hidden). Restaurants are great and people very friendly

This would have been beautiful in the right weather. It was just our luck that we arrived in the height of Summer, at the end of a heatwave and were met with heavy rain and thunderstorms o the water didn't have its famous greenish-blue hue. It is a lovely natural beauty surrounded by mountains.

I was just remembering how much we loved it there last year. My son and I rented bikes and went all around the lake. We also got a pedal boat and took a swim. Saw some young people doing a rope swing jump and did that too. Fabulous.

I took a day trip from Lyon, a great place, I'm sorry I only stayed one day, it's definitely worth 2-3 days! A place not to be missed if you're in the area!

It is a MUST to go, partying, water scakating, swimming and lots of boat cruises around the great lake surrounded by magnificent mountains. 30 min away and your up amongst snowy mountains as early as September.

Your amazing ride starts in the center of chamonix, there you will take the most thrilling cable car ride if you life. With the best views, grass that turns u to snow, and trees that turn into massive cliffs. Aguille du midi is a must for everyone. The views at the top are truly out of this world and make you seem so small. Would recommend to everyone visiting chamonix. Give out of five stars

Excellent view of the Alps from here. We were fortunate that the sky were clear. The view is better than the one we experienced in Jungfraujoch.

Wow!!! Just stunning. Exceptional views 360. Will do again. Review will not do any justice. You just have to go. Nice cafe as well. Stairs from elevator to cafe was a bit of a drag in the thin air. Wife’s lips turned purple from lack of oxygen. Be aware of the signs.

Incredible view . The beauty is breathtaking. You can see the highest peak in Europe from afar. Many people paragliding here. It is a must-visit place in life.

The cable bus from the Chamonix city with a change over in between takes you to the peak of Aiguille du Midi. This peak is exactly in the border of France and Italy. A 20 minutes journey of ten each takes you to the peak. To see the mont blanc, you have to take a pass like temporary visa to the italian side and from the peak to which a lift is taking you, you can see the mont blanc. There is also a glass cage with dead drop bottom. The view from the top is magnificient. It takes you to the view of entire iced surroundings. The mont blanc is the highest peak of Alps. More famous for limited edition pen. They are allowing a total of 2 and half hours to see and come back. On a sunny day, the views are beautiful. The climate is sometimes minus in the peak

Amazing experience. They give you a paper to indicate you have a time to get off the mountain to avoid rushes. Even though it was for 1.5 hours as the recommended time, we spent close to 4 hours (with about 1.5 hours for queuing for the glass dome alone). This was an unforgettable experience and highly recommended.

The location and pools were great. Most pools had luke warm water with the exception of the pool at the top, which was hot. The dry sauna was hot and delightful. The inside water rooms were fun. My problem was with the staff. The young lady with brown hair and glasses who was in charge of seating for the aperitif on August 1 at 1900 was very rude. She came to our table and instead of making polite conversation with us, she told us story after story about how our home country was full of stupid people, we don't know geography, our food is bad, and we all go around waving guns. Although she has never been to our home country, she was sure to tell us everything wrong with it. It was uncomfortable and insulting.

Amazing experience! From the very beginning staff were nice and helpful, the service was great throughout. The location is absolutely perfect - you swim in the hot water underneath the snowy Mont Blanc. The views and scenery is gorgeous. The place’s facilities are great, the have plenty of hot baths (covered and outside) so it is never too crowded, and they have saunas, relaxing area, massages and lunch. The food at lunch was excellent as well. You receive everything you need - a towel, slippers and a robe, and even a change of robe if you have lunch. The shower area is very well equipped and well designed. Absolutely recommended!

Not the best experience at this spa, we went there at 6, and given a happy hour at 6:45. Which we completely missed because there is only a single clock hidden in one of the buildings. Also we where not told that there are no food options on the premises, so we went hungry for our time there. Many people brought their phones in to take pictures, videos and face time, this made us uncomfortable. I would not recommend people going to this spa for a relaxing time, the view is wonderful, but you don't need to be in this spa to see it. Also there where no employee's to speak to about issues.

The facilities are great. The Lady with classes working in the Bistro was very rude. We were not informed that the Bistro was only available up until a certain time. We missed the slot and were Rudely expelled

Absolutely stunning spa getaway in the mountains. Went here while on a rest day in Coumayeur hiking along the Tour du Mont Blanc, and it was the highlight of my rest. Felt refreshed to get back on the trail the next day.

The views are beautiful. However, Was extremely disappointed here. (Only used spa and had lunch and aperitif) Have been to various QC TERME and this has to be the worst for service. The hospitality staff were rude and I wont go back to this particular qc. That being said every other QC has everything.

The terme was nice and relaxing, but there were no signs to help people find their way, especially to the upstairs rooms. First-timers might miss the stairs. Better guidance is needed, and people with lone hair should be asked to tie their hair more properly.

Very good quality starters (cold cuts and cheeses) typical from Italy and Spain. We chose Pasta (very Well cooked) accompanied with an artisanal beer. Nice desserts and friendly staff. We loved it. Didn’t give 5 starts because the restaurant itself is not “wow”, just a simple cozy bottega. But food-wise definitely worth it!!

Had a wonderful lunch with the family today. I definitely recommend the cured meats and cheeses platters, as well as the tagliatelle with culatello and parmesan! But generally speaking we were satisfied with the food and wine. The location is cosy, especially the 'underground' area. Service is nice, and you can purchase most of the products you have enjoyed after eating (which we definitely have done!) - we will come back!

The food was amazing, we tried the cheese and ham plate, that was really good. Beyond that, we tasted the tagliatelle and the polenta that were excellent. But, unfortunately, our experienced was affected by one staff that didn’t treat us very welcoming when we tried to get a table in the restaurant.

Delicious lunch here, a cute little 7 seat restaurant with wonderful local dishes and an amazingly inexpensive wines by the glass list. I only wish we had more of an appetite so we could have tried some of the meats and cheeses they had in their shop, but the tagliolini with butter, parm and white truffles was perfect, and the polenta in the La Carbonade was one of the best I’ve had!

A little pricey and they won't serve you tap water : you have to buy an expensive bottle. Other than that, great food and nice staff!

Amazing food and wine plus 10/10 service - our favourite meal of the week hands down. If you are in Aosta this is a must!

great place to spend half a day outdoors with your family. the zoo is cared for down to the smallest details, clean and equipped with all the comforts that families need: bars, restaurants, toilets, many bins for recycling in different parts of the park. the animals are well cared for and happy. it is truly a pleasure to visit a place like this. I recommend buying tickets online so as not to waste time at the ticket office. there are two convenient and spacious car parks. disabled people enter for free and every place is accessible by wheelchair/stroller. great experience! you can participate in the bird show by booking online!

The night safari ticket is well worth the 16 euros as you can visit the park as many times as you want

Zoom is a lovely Zoo and Water Park near Torino. It's a great place to see a variety of animals and enjoy a day at their artificial pools. It is highly recommended to plan things out. You can access the park from Torino via teain to Piscina (please note they are operating Bus Rail Replacement services). While Google Maps says it's a 19 minute walk from the Train Station. There are no sidewalks on part of the trip so it's best to reserve a shuttle which for €5 RT will take you to / from the park. This can be booked online and paid in cash to the driver. Book tickets in advance, you can reserve spots at the beach and have a pair of sun loungers and an umbrella for about €27. Ticket prices are reasonable but check online as discounts are available. The pool itself is extra so look for deals. Several food options and expect about €15-20 for lunch on the low-end. (The fried seafood platter was a miss). Lots of places to buy waters at €1.50 each, no real free water fountains like you find all over Italy. Animals seemed to be treated ok, it's a zoo and of course some people have strong opinions about that.

Awesome place! It’s easy to access when you buy the ticket online. Getting there can be a little tricky if you’re using the train, but it’s worth it. The animals are well-organized, placed together to create a good system, and navigating the zoo is easy if you follow the path. The staff are very helpful and all speak English. The seating areas between the animal enclosures, especially the one near the tiger exhibit, are great. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, totally worth it and affordable.

Fantastic place. Very nice and friendly staff! We stay 2 nights with my 2 daughter they loved it. Amazing place to have a fresh and lots of knowledge about animals. The zoo it’s adorable 🥰

Superb zoo! Extremely well organised and thought through. Animals looked well looked after and enclosures were built in a way to feel natural and were well maintained. Plenty of toilets and eat/drink options and lots of staff looking after every aspect. Two excellent play areas to occupy a 5 year old. Whole site is not huge and could go around it in half a day if you wanted but it's also ok to spread things out and take breaks. Plenty of extras with talks and shows if you can organise yourself to fit around the schedule. We stayed over night at the "Glamping" site which was also excellent. Very nice room and then that allows you to take breakfast in the terrace restaurant sitting in-between the lions on one side and giraffes and savanna animals on the other side which was a very cool experience. The only negative is that there was a disgusting and overpowering smell i think coming from the toilet/sewage system in the area of our accommodation which was strong enough to make me feel sick and detracted from the enjoyment of the evening as it was impossible to sit on the terrace of our room
