They have good quality boats including long boats with mouthpiece to guide a big group of. The people there were young, energetic, knowledgeable and smiling. They are just next to parking 3. They have their own private parking space. Since this is outside of the central part, less congested. There is a nice restaurant from where you can take food inside the boat and enjoy while riding through the canal. Washroom is free and clean, can accommodate big groups without any trouble.

A very interesting place. An interesting brief history of the city in pictures, the decoration of the rooms. You can even shoot a bow there! Also listen to the bell. Unfortunately there is no way out. But at the top there is a window with a beautiful view of the city. If you put your phone away, you can take beautiful pictures. The ticket is only about 5 euros.

I needed to get out of the house, so I went for a walk in the park. It was so nice to be surrounded by nature and fresh air. The park was big, so there was plenty of space to spread out. It was also really quiet and calm, which was exactly what I needed. Great way to spend day

One hike is guided by the purple sign. It starts at the tourist information (parking and food service) and meanders up and down through the heath to Posbank (parking and food service) and back in a loop. Another hike is perfectly guided by the red sign. It starts at Posbank and leads you mainly through forest and fern to a very nice place to rest, eat, and drink (De Carolinahoeve). The hike takes you back in a loop, and there are also great views of the heath landscape. All the trails are perfectly marked by posts along the way. There is a post that shows the direction before you even start to think where to go. Unfortunately, dogs are allowed and even with leash they come too close.

Mr. Anton gave us a tour in English - he was absolutely delightful, patient with all of our curious questions, and we had a wonderful time. The castle grounds are also gorgeous. We highly recommend this visit, and would especially like to thank Ms. Corinne, Ms. Danielle and Mr. Anton for their generous and kind hospitality. Ms. Danielle went above and beyond to make our visit a very memorable experience despite a rude beginning with Mr. Baartjan. We highly recommend this visit - takes you away from the hustle and bustle into the country side to a 14th century castle. Make sure to get your tickets in advance, and grab lunch at the Bistrobar Beaune up on the hill!

Castle was restored at 2017 and now hosts part of art collection devoted to realism from More museum. The collection is small but nice. Reserve up to 1 hour for the museum. The interiors of the castle are nicely renovated with the wood paneling and tapestry. The pattern of hardwood floors repeats the pattern on the ceiling. The parking is free, but the place is popular, so parking is full on the weekends. The restaurant in the Orangery is nice and staff is very helpful.

Simone was an absolute pleasure on our tour! She ran the tour in English and Dutch and accommodated every member present. You could tell by the way she spoke and interacted with us that she loves her job and is passionate about the intricacies involved in mass product production, and the Grolsch brand. Grolsch is very lucky to have her as a part of their company!

Stumbled upon this by chance, really glad we did,it’s a lovely slice of history and one man’s vision and collection of medieval art and artefacts. Included in the price is a guided tour of the tower which is certainly worth the climb up the narrow stairs.

Great place to spend some quality time. They offer a quite good variety of animals, the place is clean and well structured. They offer coffee, ice cream and small dishes. You can rent a wheelchair if you're joined by elderly family members or friends, some animals can be fed by hand and for kids there is even a playground with an awesome and secure climbing tower, so everybody at any age can have a good time there.

A superb museum about Piet Mondriaan, who spent his early years in Winterswijk, in the villa he lived in. Small, but packed with his early paintings, films, but none of the later cubist style. There is a café and shop, also temporary exhibitions. Helpful staff, and right in the centre of this busy but still quaint town.

Mainly came here to see the tanks , but it's a very big museum that it would take almost all day to look at everything . I recommend arriving when it opens. Parking next to museum has a good capacity and is free. There's an exhibition about WW2 in the Netherlands and about people who lived during the war in Netherlands + WW2 info. What I really liked was the D-Dex exhibition, it's like a simulation where you could be an American soldier and land in the beaches. I have only a few problems with this simulation... When you're waiting for it to start outside, and you put English, it simply doesn't work. It's still in dutch + add more water, because I could easily pass the water sprinklers and not get wet :) in mostly some of the parts of the museum, it's either in dutch or German. . . But if I'm sure there was an audio guide on their website for the English. Edit: Thanks for the response! When I was waiting for the D-Dex version in English, it had the British flag, so I went in and it was still in dutch. Personally I don't think it's a big problem since there was more English than dutch, but I still liked my experience here!

We were a group of five visiting Movie Park Germany on a public holiday, and we arrived around noon. Before entering, there was a thorough security check, which I found very reassuring—it made me feel safe throughout the entire day in the park. Inside, you can find a variety of restaurants, snack stands, and sweet stalls offering treats such as crêpes, churros, gummy bears, fries, and pizza slices. There are also plenty of restrooms located conveniently around the park. Movie Park Germany is a fantastic destination for families with young children, but also for groups of friends or adults looking for excitement. The park features several roller coasters, ranging from family-friendly rides to adrenaline-filled thrill rides like Star Trek: Operation Enterprise, which even launches you backward, and Van Helsing’s Factory, a dark ride coaster with sharp turns. The safety measures on all attractions are excellent, and staff are very attentive. Since we visited during the Halloween Horror Festival, we booked two of the horror houses: The Hell House and Blood Moon: The Trailer House. Both experiences were intense, immersive, and absolutely worth the extra cost. The Halloween theming across the park was very detailed and atmospheric, with actors, decorations, and special effects adding to the experience. The only downside was that the groups in the horror houses were admitted too close together, which sometimes broke the illusion and caused a bit of crowding inside. One thing to note is the parking situation: there is no payment machine directly in the parking lot. You need to purchase your parking ticket inside the park before returning to your car. As the distance between the parking area and the park entrance is not very short, it’s definitely easier to buy the ticket in advance before heading back. Overall, Movie Park Germany is a great choice for a fun day out, whether you love thrill rides, entertaining shows, or seasonal events like Halloween.

Public park, has a lot of magnificent things to see, î visited mostly because Im a Hunger games fan and some parts where filmed there for The ballad of songbirds and snakes. They also filmed Sunrise on the reaping there. But in general it’s a beautiful place to visit, just walk around, take pictures, enjoy. There might even be some events finding place there, when I was there there was a street food festival

A well maintained and beautiful public museum. Apart from the permanent exhibition, there was also "Frau in blau" temporary exhibition. The highlight is Van Gogh's paintings kept in the permanent exhibition.

An old mine reserved as an industrial museum. Very informative exhibition about coalmining and the miners. Very nice art-deco architecture. Plenty of good photo motives. They start to implement holographic explenations/displays

We had really great time here with kids. The museum is good bus access from train station. In the museum we will receive a headset, you can hear very detailed information in each items. You need extra few euros to visit the tower, its few minutes walking distance from the museum building, it’s worth to visit too. Play ground for kids also a high light! We spent 5-6 hours in total there! Worth to come again :)

One of its kind hanging train. The train is in service from early 1900's. An amazing engineering feat! The Bahn Route covers scenic places. It runs above river, roads. Try to occupy the last seat as it provides the best visual treat!

Parking is convenient with plenty of space, though visitors may face short waits at the entrance during peak hours. Overall, it’s a great destination for a refreshing and enjoyable day out.

Came here while touring Europe to take some time out and relax and this place was perfect. The underwater music pool, saunas and quiet areas were incredible. The entire facility is very zen and relaxing. Grabbed food for lunch in the restaurant and it was lovely, very friendly staff and a wonderful calm place to eat. Onsen baths were great, main pool under the sunlight was so refreshing to swim in. Left the place floating and very light at the end of my time. Wonderful.
