We did a 6 hour bike ride around the park and it was amazing. A little tired and sore after, but there is so much to see, there is no way to see it on foot. We didn’t get a chance to canoe,sadly and that looks great as well. The small towns in the area are so quaint, the bike ferry is easy, just make sure you have a card to tap. The head wind was strong in some places so be aware, but it is all flat, except the bridges, so not strenuous

This is one of the most beautiful villages in the world, i am definitely sure about that. Very chill and peaceful vibe, you can rent a boat and sail along the channel and enjoying the nature and the weather here. My time there seems be frozen there. I highly recommend this wonderful village

It's a none regret decision to cycle around De Weerribben-Wieden National Park. We had a very good memory here in 2018. The View around the national park is amazing. There are less tourists so cycling here is very relax and comfortable. I think most tourists go to Giethoorn. It is an unique experience.

A beautiful place that is a pleasure to visit. Cozy village, beautiful houses. Besides the friendly staff, the local herring menu makes this place a memorable one.

It is a small but really cute museum. It gives the feeling of walking in a house in 1800s. We loved to look around in the house and read about some of the unfamiliar items aim of use. You can also put some clothes on from these times and take some photos. Museum card is valid here.

Amazing place to see the rich heritage and a bit of history of Geithorn. We passed by and visited the museum. The lovely people who manage the place are very warm and very very sweet. They let us try Heritage Food that is very tasty. Realy warm place to visit. Thank you very much.

Although it is not a very big museum, the history is explained in detail. Authentic items and clothing are on display. You can also try historical clothes and clogs and take pictures.

Small but very cute museum in the center of the town. It is possible to see how people lived in the past in Giethoorn, the house, the daily life, all the agricultural uses and how the society of this small village worked. 6,5 euro to get in. The staff is very gentle and kind. Recommended

Loved the place! They have audio aids with explanations in a lot of languages. The place is really nice, you will find a lot of information about the village, it was actually pretty interesting. They have old clothes, furniture, and everything is arranged as if we were living in the old Giethoorn. I went on a Saturday and they were selling knieperties, so delicious!

A lovely shop with a lot of collections. The prices are fair, there are quite a lot for the kids so they can afford them. And also good and expensive ones for adults. Kids can learn a lot from these minerals and fossils.

Friendly people, the woman aswell as the guy that worls there are super friendly and tried their best to speak and explain things. All the History and stories !!! A must see

Lovely shop. My sister and I got matching infinity rings with our birthstones and we broke some rocks to see what's inside. Absolutely beautiful.

I guess is nice if you like rocks. At the entrance it says it has activities for all ages but the activity area was closed. Good thing is that is not very expensive.

Interesting shop with a huge collection of precious and semi precious stones. Beautiful jewelry and other items. Prices are reasonable. Worth a visit. Not suitable for people with mobility problems because you have to cross a bridge to get to the store.

Beautiful museum. The shop was great but not a lot of smaller ring sizes available sadly! The crystals however were beautiful and the people were so nice. There is a lovely ice cream shop nearby too. I had the pleasure of going during the off season so the museum wasn’t crowded at all. Definitely recommend!

De Lindenhof was really an amazing experience. We stayed over night in one of the cozy rooms there, with a view over the beautiful garden. The dinner was absolutely delicious, great combination of flavors in harmony with each other. An explosion of flavors that I never tasted before. Moreover, each dish was perfectly paired with the wine. The breakfast of the morning after was something of another level. Eleven courses of happiness, best breakfast of my life. The people working there were very kind and modest, this made the atmosphere of the place very comfortable and cozy. You could not feel the typical fanciness and sometimes arrogance of some places. I will definitely go back! 10/10!

Excellent dining with nice wine selection. The staff was experienced, the lady serving us was working there 25 years, gave detailed information on every signature dish. We have enjoyed fully and will definitely.be back! (Next time to enjoy the garden)

We got the beef burger and beef stew, both were decent. The beef stew was quite salty, so the salted french fries did not make a good combination. The burger patty was juicy and generally alright. The price is on the more expensive side but well the place is very well-located with good view and extremely spacious, so I guess we were paying for that as well which I didnt mind. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall a nice experience!

Had a small evening tea here. Good selection of snacks and coffee in the menu. Red velvet cake is great. Coffee portion is quite small. Pricing is a bit on the expensive side. Service is prompt and outdoor seating is good.

We had a lovely experience at Gracthof George! We ordered the vegan burger and fish and chips, and both dishes were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The vegan burger was hearty and satisfying, while the fish and chips were crispy and perfectly cooked. The place is located on the corner of a lively area in Giethoorn, the seating area was viewing the small canals in the old city. The service unfortunately was a bit slow. The food was great. I tried the flatbread which was very light and delicious. The fries was amazing.

We ordered the ribs, salmon salad and pancake. The ribs are quite tasty, tender but just a bit salty. Salad portion is unexpectedly large, worth a try. Pancake is so so, no need to order. This is something can make at home like adding egg, flour, and milk together, mix the batter and pan fry it.

I enjoyed my lunch at De Rietstulp. It was a bright, sunny day. I made myself comfortable on the patio. The menu was easy to navigate, I ordered Bitteballen and for main course mustard soup with turkish meat. The soup was delicious 😋 For cocktail 🍸 I surprised myself with a blue butterfly gin. What a charming and fantastic Italian in idyllic surroundings. The staff were super friendly and even helped us out earlier than the stated opening times. The food was superb, the calezone was the best ive ever had and my wife's prawn linguine was equally as good. Really recommend this place 👌🏻

When we were going around by boat, I noticed that restaurant. It has the absolute best location in the whole area – right by the water, with a beautiful view. After the tour, we went back there, and I told my family: “I want to sit right here, in the best spot with the nicest view no matter if the food is good or not.” But I was truly surprised. They serve Italian pizzas that are just as good as the ones in Naples! I even asked if they really have a stone oven – and yes, they do. I highly recommend this restaurant both for, the view, and the food. Just a heads-up: they do not accept credit cards, and no debit cards from outside the EU – so bring cash just in case.

The Italian restaurant has okay food and a great view, but there's room for improvement. The cola was flat and tasted old, which was disappointing. Also, the service could be friendlier. If they fix the drinks and work on customer service, it would be a much better experience overall.

I decided to eat at this restaurant recommended by our tour guide. I was a little disappointed, but it was just ok. I ordered a mocktail, a pomodoro bruschetta, and a truffle risotto. The portions are large, but I could not finish the risotto. The risotto is not the worst, nor the best, I have ever had.

We shared pizza and pasta. They are both nice and delicious. Atmosphere is really nice. It is worth to come here and have dinner.
