AQUAPARK Costa Teguise

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
AQUAPARK Costa Teguise is the largest waterpark in Lanzarote, offering a variety of attractions suitable for the whole family. Located just a short drive from town, it features long slides, rapids, toboggan slides, and the thrilling kamikaze. For those seeking relaxation, there are Jacuzzis and lazy pools available. Additionally, visitors can enjoy paintball and even catch a movie at the on-site cinema.
Visited the aquapark on a Monday was a good day out and definitely worth a visit especially for the kids. Water was not too bad for may and the weather being a bit windy put a little chill to the exit of the splash pools, but soon dried off. We didn't spend all day there but easily could, overall a good day out with the kids. Plenty of laughs to be had will definitely visit there again 👍 Prices were good.
Stephen L — Google review
It was a great day for the kids. We bought a family ticket at our hotel and got a taxi there and back. The queue at the entrance is pretty frustrating, we had a prepaid ticket and we still had to queue. It seems to be not structured well at all. There is a cafe with food options, drinks, beers, coffee. The other thing to mention is that the water does not particularly feel very clean. Slides were good fun, with lots of different ones
Fran L — Google review
This aquapark is really outdated, like it’s been stuck in the 80s. Out of the 7 big slides, 3 were shut down, which makes the place even less worth it. There are barely any sunshades, the food is terrible, it’s not very clean, and they blast nothing but crappy Latin American music all day. It’s only somewhat ok for kids between 3 and 12 years old (they do not care about all that :)))), but beyond that, I wouldn’t recommend it at all.
S G — Google review
Really fun water park. The pools were great, salt water and cold which you we appreciated. The slides were great fun with enough variety to cater for all. The staff were great, they were efficient on the slides but generally let the fun happen. The one a occasion I saw them intervene, it was genuinely warrented to stop a child jumping in at the bottom of a slide. Food was probably what you come to expect from a place like this. Not fine dining but fine, the prices were a little high but not terribly so and let's be honest, when did you last go somewhere with a captive audience that did cheap food? We arrived at 11am (1 hour after opening) and still got 3 sun loungers next to each other. We had a thoroughly good time, never felt overcrowded, the wait for slides was more than acceptable and we would recommend it to anyone for a day out in Lanzarote.
Rob F — Google review
Kids loved it, so many slides, not to much waiting for each... lovely in the hot weather, gets cold if the wind gets up. Just went for post 2pm afternoon fun, 3 hours plenty of time to enjoy it.
James H — Google review
Visisted August summer. Went for an afternoon entry pass, great time. Decent value £70 for 3A 1C, great fun. Well priced drinks. Plenty of seats when you need them
Daniel L — Google review
Pretty good but I would say more for kids there isn’t much to do for adults. You can get through everything very quickly. Still Good, staff were nice

Museo Lagomar is a unique attraction that was once the home of actor Omar Sharif. It is built into the hillside, featuring natural lava caves and hidden chambers with stunning views over turquoise pools and gardens. After being redeveloped in the 1980s, it now serves as a restaurant, bar, and art gallery. The property's design incorporates organic shapes and blends seamlessly into the volcanic landscape.
Such a nice museum. I wasn’t really that excited to go but I ended up loving it. It’s a really beautiful place, there is a cafe, staff was nice and iced coffee was amazing. Really enjoyed the whole thing. View was beautiful as well.
Kateřina B — Google review
if you get to lanzarote you must visit this museum. The museum stands out for its spectacular architecture, integrated into the volcanic landscape, with caves, tunnels, secret passages and a lake, offering a special visual experience. There is of course also a story how the house belonged to Omar Sharif but he was the owner only for one day losing the house in a game of bridge. Created by the artist César Manrique, through the artist Jesús Soto. The house was built in the 70s by businessman Sam Benady. parking in front of the museum. I recommend!
Luciana T — Google review
Incredible, bonkers house. A James Bond villan's lair if ever there was one. If you close your eyes you can imagine the parties that they must have had here over the years... another Martini please!
James R — Google review
Beautiful place but if you have issues with stairs and steps, this will not be for you. You can roam around as you please but it feels like a few more signs to explain where you are are what you are looking at would be good as there is no guide. The bar was quite expensive compared to the rest of the island and some of the choices are questionable (smoothies on the menu but you cannot see the fresh fruit, just various juice cartons)
Ludivine C — Google review
Beautiful place. We came early, few minutes after opening ( already one bus and few cars were here). You can buy ticket in advance, or directly in the museum ( 10 eur/person). You can find here small suvenír shop and cafe. We spend here Aprx. 1 hour.
Michaela Š — Google review
A must visit, quirky art and fantasy layout, it’d be great for a party and you can imagine famous actors hanging out here. Not for those with restricted mobility I’d suggest as they’d not see much of the place due to tight stairs and tunnel. It had a cafe and small shop.
Nick F — Google review
Incredible museum, architecture and art house. Truly breathtaking sights to see and a wonderful history. Worth the travel and fee to see. One of the most unique places you'll ever come across.

Stunning place, but make sure you wear proper shoes, sliders and flip flops are no good here, a lot of rough ground and stairs everywhere

Sunday morning market with stalls selling baskets & other handicrafts, plus island cheeses & wines.
Great market. Thoroughly enjoyed it, with varieties of things to shop from, mostly clothes, souvenirs, jewelry, aloe Vera products Lanzarote branded products but not so much food. However, there are loads of restaurants around with sea food and tapas.
Writing R — Google review
A nice place to visit. Some great artisan stalls but also some "genuine"??? leather goods which taint it somewhat. A few burger vans for food. Can get very hot in the town and the vans will charge you €5 for 3 bottles of water. Buy your water in the garage at the edge of town, 3 bottles for less than €1!

The César Manrique Foundation (FCM) is situated in Taro de Tahiche, Lanzarote, and serves as a private cultural institution dedicated to preserving and promoting the work of César Manrique. The foundation was established in 1992, just before the artist's passing, and his former home was transformed into a museum showcasing a significant portion of his artistic creations.
Well with the entry price of €10. Wasn't really familiar with the work of Manrique, as it's my first time in Lanzarote. This was a great introduction. Once you've been you start to notice his influence all over the islands! Must have been a beautiful house and had been sympathetically converted for the Foundation's purposes, without losing any of its former impact.
Simon R — Google review
This place is absolutely stunning, we just kept saying wow wow wow when we visited. Such a special and interesting piece of architecture, would really recommend to visit. The gardens are also magnificent. Plan to spend about 1 hour. Easy free parking. They also have a small coffee shop with some snacks. We bought the combined ticket, you can visit the other house within 15 days of your visit here. The 10 eur tickets is definitely worth the price (17 eur for the combined ticket).
Dominika N — Google review
Makes for an interesting visit, getting a chance to look at how the artist lived here before he moved to his new mansion in Haría. The house is very spacious and looks very relaxing. However, with 10€ entrance charge (for non-residents) it's a little overpriced.
Juerg V — Google review
The ticket is 10€/person. You see one of the iconic person on the island. You kinda see his house, and what he did (from arhitecture to paintings). Good place to have a look if you are interested in that kind of things.
Timotej B — Google review
Had a lovely walk into the Cesar Manrique Foundation this morning, his first house. Very interesting site where you can learn the history of Cesar and how he contributed to the island!

This is a very interesting place to learn about César Manrique, his life and what he did to protect Lanzarote. We visited as part of a larger tour around César Manriques life, which is very interesting.

My favourite place in Arrecife for a walk, or to sit in the sun and watch the tidal lake fill up. Decent selection of bars and restaurants around the side, varying quality and prices so do consider the menu etc before committing.
Sarah M — Google review
A lovely area in Arrecife. A tidal lagoon with a walkway all the way around and lots of nice eateries. Just a short walk from the shopping areas and the main water front.

Nice walking area, around a lagoon, for me the most pleasant spot of Arrecife. As a bonus, it has become a bit of a gastronomic area as well. Around here you’ll find some of the best eating spots in town (together with less enthusing ones).
Marco — Google review
Really nice and photogenic place for a pleasant walk while exploring the city.

Great Tapas places on the sunny side, cool restaurants in the shade. My favourite tapas is recognised best by the wooden trays they use to show their menus - terrific Serrano and Cheeses box, Lanzarote tomato salad brilliant, Russian salad is huge and very good, I love their beef meatballs with fried potatoes- shareable if your not greedy Fun wines, gents loo tight for fatties, ladies capacious All female crew, very helpful and charming.

Visitors can enjoy free pick-up and drop-off services from various locations on the island. The track features a 1km layout with different types of karts suitable for all skill levels. Safety is a top priority, and there are options to purchase vouchers for multiple sessions.
We spent a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon at Lanzarote Karting San Bartolomé. The online booking process was super easy to use. The track is really impressive and the staff that run it are exceptional. It all felt very secure and safe and was very well run from the moment we arrived. Our teenager had an amazing time and our youngest son had a ball on the electric karts. 10/10 highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Came here with my partner and had a free pick up and drop off to/from our hotel which was very ideal for us. Overall a well run company with friendly staff. We are not regular go karters but we were made to feel safe and the course was very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!
Lateisha J — Google review
Fantastic track, the karts are well maintained & fast. Friendly staff, professionally run & well priced. a great few hours . I'll be going back again soon 👍
Goodlives G — Google review
Came here today with my partner and children. We all had a go. It was €69/£60 for the 4 of us for 8 minutes. My youngest is 9, they gave her a full breakdown of how to drive. They gave her a go on her own before leaving everybody else go which was really nice - they wanted to make sure she felt comfortable. Staff were lovely but I don’t think 8 minutes is worth the price
Sara-lee C — Google review
Been away from here 4 years and the place has seriously improved. The staff are amazing and take great care of you on the track . This place is a must if you are on holiday in Lanzarote. Special thanks to all the staff and the owner for allowing a little tribute for my Brother

Fantastic afternoon. All staff were friendly and helpful. Pick up service was excellent. Very well organised. Will 100% be coming back
Kerri V — Google review
The best cart track in Lanzarote ! Really friendly staff, very proffessionell, beautyful track, nice carts - we will come again 👍
Daniel H — Google review
Honestly pretty nice and they offer hotel pickup and dropoff (or from popular spots around the island). Would have loved to see a live ranking somewhere while driving (as all other places I’ve been to had), or at least for your last lap once you cross the lap line. They offer regular (200cc) but also faster karts (400cc). Unfortunately even though you book a time slot that doesn’t guarantee you start then, as there may still be people there and you’re queued between each of your sessions..

Park
Rancho Texas Lanzarote park is an animal park offering a variety of attractions and activities. Visitors can enjoy bird and sea lion shows, cowboy lasso displays, the Gold Mine, pony rides, and a splash zone. For those interested in aquatic experiences, there's the option to swim with sea lions under the guidance of trainers. This unique opportunity allows guests to interact with these fascinating creatures such as Brutus and his family in a magical underwater setting.
Great day out, barely any queues, very clean and not too expensive for food. Plenty of time in a day to visit the animals and shows and also spend plenty of time in the pools and slides etc. Great value for money. Top tips: Get a locker (€7-10) Place some towels down when you first get in (main pool just to the right as you go in) Leave some of the animal shows until the afternoon, they get busy in the morning. Enjoy 😎👍
Nigel P — Google review
We had an unforgettable day at Rancho Texas Lanzarote! From the moment we arrived, the park’s Wild West-meets-tropical vibe, lush landscaping, and vibrant shows had us hooked. The animal shows—from dolphins and sea lions to parrots and birds of prey—were brilliantly choreographed and engaging. My favorite part? The trainers’ genuine care for the animals truly shines through, and you can feel it. It’s a perfect blend of entertainment and education that works for every age. The water park/splash zone was a huge hit—slides, spraying fountains, and even a giant tipping bucket made for endless fun and laughter in the sun. One family I read about said it turned out to be “a day full of laughter and bonding—a highlight of our Lanzarote trip we’ll cherish forever” . For little ones, there’s a gentle water play area too. The facilities were clean and well laid out, and navigating the park felt seamless—even with kids in tow. Shows ran in multiple languages (English, Spanish, German), giving plenty of opportunity to catch every performance. Food and pricing were family-friendly and fair. From takeaway lunches to sit-down options, portions were generous and good value—one group said they managed lunch for four under €20. Transfers can be a bit hit-or-miss—some visitors noted issues with coordination and delays—but once inside, there’s nothing but smooth sailing and fun. All in all: Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park delivered an action-packed, joyful, and wonderfully relaxing day out. A fantastic pick for families seeking sunshine, smiles, and animal adventures—highly recommended!

Had a wonderful unforgettable family fun day out at rancho texas. The views and animals to see is amazing the dolphin show is something incredible. Staff are so friendly. Water park is great fun no matter what age you will feel like a kid and the kids will never forget. The food isn't expensive either for a park we got photos holding the parrots honestly we had the most amazing time.

We went to the evening dinner show at Rancho Texas, fantastic night out and not to be missed. Worth every penny. The live music and show is amazing something for all ages. Food is a buffet BBQ with plenty to eat. The drink is free flowing and the atmosphere is exciting. Would highly recommend...... Included in the package are the photos taken at the table. Which are a lovely souvenir. Bring your cowboy hats or buy there from 10 Euros Kids pony rids are also included. Wheelchair accessible including the toilets.

Really great family day. With both the water park and the Zoo, really good value. Ques for water slides not bad at all, we were there from 10am until 3pm and had no issues but slides only open at 12.30pm Toilets relatively clean and food fast food as you would expect in venues suchlike. Very little interaction with the staff but the pools and slides all maned with life guards. Only slight issue was the hectic way you enter the park, as we booked tickets online, we had to stand in another other than the one we stood for 15 minutes in, this could be made a little clearer. All in all, good value fir what you get and a good family day out.
John H — Google review
A great family day out for all ages. When we got there, the larger water slides were closed until 12:30 so we took the time to walk around the animal enclosures. There are some very unique and exotic birds, reptiles and animals, all easy to see. Highlights were the giant tortoise and the white Sumatran Tiger. The Dolphin, Sea Lion and Parrot display shows are excellent, get there a few minutes early, especially for the Dolphins to get a good seat. The water slides are great fun with something suitable for all ages, the queues were not long for any slide and the whole park is very well run and didn't feel over crowded at any point,
Colm M — Google review
Family of 10 enjoyed a fantastic evening of fun!! All staff were fantastic and in character 👌🏻 Buffet was actually really good, Pork Ribs and Chicken were both amazing as was the salad and baked potatos. Music, show and line dancing were all every fun. Free wanted picture, which was a lovely surprise. The whole family had a very good time. One tip would be to take your own Cowboy hat as the ones they sell are ridiculously priced at €35 to €45.
Jamie B — Google review
One of the highlights of our holiday. The animals look well cared for and plenty of shade walking round thankfully. The shows were enjoying and the kids loved the water park, which was bust but still didn't have any long queues like some of the other parks. Buy tickets online to avoid the queue to get in

Timanfaya National Park

National park
Nature & Parks
Park with regulated public access by camel, on foot or by coach tour, plus a geothermal restaurant.
Great experience. Camel ride cost less than €12 for about 20 minutes up and down the mountain. Kids really enjoyed it. Would recommend. Camels looked very well cared for. Tour guide was a very pleasant man.
Karen B — Google review
I had an unforgettable experience at Timanfaya National Park—it truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. The bus tour through the volcanic landscapes was both thrilling and a little bit scary, making it all the more exciting. Driving through the craggy lava fields, it felt like stepping into another world—black volcanic rock stretching as far as the eye can see, smoke gently rising from the earth, and the contrast of the bright blue sky above. As the day shifted and shadows grew, the landscape took on a mysterious, almost otherworldly beauty. After the tour, we planned to try the restaurant famous for cooking food using volcanic heat. Unfortunately, it was closed when we arrived. However, the staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help us. They checked the kitchen and graciously prepared two plates of food just for us. I am especially grateful to the gentleman who made this wonderful experience possible. Everywhere you look in Timanfaya National Park, the scenery is breathtaking—the interplay of lava, sky, and sunlight makes you feel like you’ve been transported to another planet. The combination of thrilling tours, incredible natural beauty, and warm, helpful people makes visiting Timanfaya an experience you will never forget. If you have the chance, you absolutely should go—you’ll be amazed.

Timanfaya National Park Perfect place for all the family. Take the bus around the volcano and the larger volcanic fields. GeasersI recently visited Timanfaya National Park 🌋 and it was an amazing experience for everyone! Taking a bus tour around the volcano and vast volcanic fields gave me a real appreciation for the unique landscape. I was fascinated by the raw power of nature, which is on display everywhere in the park. It's a fantastic place for the whole family, with something to amaze all ages. I would highly recommend visiting this beautiful place. #TimanfayaNationalPark #VolcanoAdventure #FamilyTrip

My daughter and I arrived on a scooter and that is definitely the way to do it - the queue for cars was long but we zipped past. The coach trip was fascinating and a really unique experience but take note - if you suffer from travel sickness, it's 40 minutes of the windiest twistiest roads you've ever been on. The restaurant with food cooked over the volcano was really nice and not pricey (which we had feared) and not too busy. For 5 stars then something would need to be done about the queuing and the entry price could be more reasonable.

Amazing! Regarding queues: Friday end of November, we came at 09:00, no waiting time at all. We left closer to 12:00 and .... also almost no cars in the queue (~15-20 mins is nothing but observing a great views).. seems no needs to wake up too early in a low season. We haven't booked online as there were no slots left and seems it's not needed at all. Important: if you come early in the morning to avoid queues, be aware you won't try a lava cooked chicken (it's opens at 12). Overall time to visit the park ~ 1-1.5 hour. Absolutely must see place. Even staying in a queue this is must see in Lanzerote.

Went on a Jet2 trip. Picked up by coach collected others enroute and guide on the bus provided a wealth of information about the park. Provided with access to a limited area where you could walk and take pictures. Three course meal provided in the restaurant as the sun setting.

We visited the Islet of Hilario area of Timanfaya National Park using an organized bus tour, which we booked through an online marketplace for tour guides. This option worked perfectly - there are parts of the park between the volcanoes that are not accessible privately and can only be visited on certified tour buses. The landscape is absolutely amazing, truly otherworldly. Wr’ve never seen anything like it. The remains of the volcanic eruptions that took place just 300 years ago are still breathtakingly vivid. An absolute must-see when visiting Lanzarote.
Glaeth B — Google review
Great experience, well organized, it was not dificult to buy the tickets in the entrance, just same time as if we had already tickets as there is a queue of cars for all in the entrance (at least in the day we were there). Tip: during the bus road sit in the opposite side of the driver, you will have the best view of the vulcanos.

Charco Verde, also known as Lago Verde or the Green Lagoon, is a natural wonder located in the small fishing village of El Golfo in southern Lanzarote. The lagoon's waters have a distinctive green color caused by phytoplankton and various minerals and microorganisms. Surrounded by ebony cliffs and the ocean, it offers a unique sight with sunbeams glistening on its olive green surface.
DON’T GO WITH GOOGLE WEIRD NAVIGATION Firstly go to El Golfo, and then a cool view point near El Siroco Cafe 🙌🏻 For me the view point worst much more than National Park and the lake :)
L A — Google review
Interesting orgin explained on nearby view point info graphics, but in fact nothing really very special. You will see exactly the same view from above as on hundreds of pictures on the web. Close riffs and sea waves were better 😉
Martin Š — Google review
Beautiful green pond (lake?) and black volcanic sand, with crashing waves...for the best view, park near Siroco coffee shop and walk to the viewpoint!
Matija M — Google review
The green lagoon was a part of the Timafaya tour. Beautiful scenery.

Very interesting to see, I recommend visiting in the early hours. Personally, I came earlier, thus ensuring a parking space. When we left, a big crowd started to form... Next to the parking lot there is also a bar with a small shop and souvenirs, as well as toilets for an extra charge. The walk to the viewpoint is short, but a little steep, I recommend slightly more suitable footwear than flip flops.
Zala — Google review
Nice to see for at least one time! A good spot if there are no cloud for a nice sunset
Karlo — Google review
For finding this place, enter "Charco de Los Clicos" into the Navigation. ;) Besides from that, it is easy to reach with a car, has free entrance and free parking. There is a small trail 10 Minutes to walk to the viewing point (also good for older people: my mother is 70 J. old and not good on feet). There is also a trail below directly next to Altantic Ocean where you can get closer to the Green Lake. Those who want to do hiking also can walk straight to Los Hervideros (about 1.5 h). Recommendable.

It's nature, not so sure how you can rate it by stars. Finding this place is obnoxious on my Google maps, I kept having glitches and bringing me to Green Lake Jr. For parking, just type in Siroco Coffee Shop and go there. They have a large parking lot and it is just a few minutes walk up a pathway to view the green lake. Alternatively, you can just head to El Golfo, find parking anywhere there and walk to the lake viewing area.

I went there to photograph the location in the evening but found it challenging to do so. It is a very interesting and unusual location. It does have safety hazards so do keep a hold of your young children if you have any. I ended up photographing inland instead i.e., the sun lighting up the mountains as it approached sunset.

Visitors have praised the cleanliness and orderliness of the mall which enhances the overall shopping experience. Additionally, there are positive remarks about the lovely atmosphere at Rubicon harbor with its great shops and restaurants.
Loved it. They are setting up for Christmas. Very weird being so hot and seeing Christmas Decorations🤣🤣 can you tell we are visitors. The rubicorn cafe cart was lovely.

Wandered down the promenade soon after we arrived in the resort and came across the small shopping centre next to the Rubicon Marina. The area, leading, to and around the Marina is lovely. Plenty to see and do. We stopped at Lani's Snack Bar for something to eat. Service and food were excellent. Plan to revisit the area on Wednesday or Saturday to see the Market.

There are a few boutique stores for clothing and souvenirs.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Centro Commercial Rubicon, and I must say, it left a lasting impression on me. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a sense of cleanliness and order that truly enhanced my shopping experience. First and foremost, I was impressed by the impeccable cleanliness throughout the entire mall. The floors were spotless, the restrooms were well-maintained, and the overall ambiance was inviting. It was evident that the management takes great pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, which made me feel comfortable and at ease during my visit. Another aspect that stood out to me was the wide range of options available when it came to food and clothing. The food court offered an array of choices, catering to various tastes and preferences. From local cuisine to international delicacies, there was something to satisfy every craving. Likewise, the clothing stores featured an impressive selection of fashionable clothing brands, ensuring that shoppers had plenty of options to choose from. However, it is worth mentioning that some items in the mall were on the expensive side. While the quality and variety were commendable, it's important to be mindful of your budget when shopping at Centro Commercial Rubicon. Nevertheless, I found that the overall experience justified the prices to some extent, as the mall provided a comfortable and enjoyable environment for shopping and dining. In addition to the cleanliness and variety, the mall's layout was well-designed, making navigation a breeze. Signage was clear and informative, making it easy to find the stores and amenities I was looking for. The staff members I encountered were friendly and helpful, ready to assist with any inquiries or directions needed. Overall, my experience at Centro Commercial Rubicon was a positive one. The cleanliness, extensive choice of food and clothing, and the overall pleasant ambiance left me impressed. While the prices may be a tad high, the quality and convenience offered made it worthwhile. Whether you're looking for a place to shop, dine, or simply enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, I highly recommend paying a visit to Centro Commercial Rubicon.

More like not shop and run. I don't like making negative reviews but in this case I have too. OK we visited this place about 4pm on Monday so not the best time. I would say about half the shops are not occupied. There was only a supermarket, perfume shop, somewhere for your nails and a few clothes shops. The small bowling alley was shut. We hoped to stay an hour or more but 10 minutes were enough. Disappointing 😞.

What a lovely Marina, great shops and lovely restaurants. Went end of April/May 2022 and there was a swimming pool there but due to covid / early in the season the pool area was still closed. Lobos Island, a protected islet with a 19th-century lighthouse, boasts diverse flora and fauna. It requires a special permit from the Island Council of Fuerteventura for visitors due to its protected status. The island offers opportunities for hiking, surfing, and enjoying tranquil beaches away from crowds.
Great destination for a day trip in the north of Fuerteventura. A ferry takes those interested from Corralejo to the island. The ticket costs no more than 20 euros per person. The island is home to beautiful nature, a large mountain and a beautiful lighthouse. You should allow about three hours to see everything. There is also a small restaurant near the ferry dock.
Oskar V — Google review
Took a return ticket with Naviera Nortour company 15th March 2025 (€17 return, left on the 11.15 and returned on the 16:00). Island itself is strangely alluring. Unfortunately I found it pretty busy in the main two places to swim (Puertito Isla de Lobos and Playa de la Concha) - not heaving, but enough to be annoying in the key photogenic spots. I don’t know what’s happening with the authorisation that people are meant to get to visit this island, allegedly limiting the visitor numbers to max 400 per day in 2 “shifts”, morning and afternoon. No one mentioned this once when purchasing tickets or boarding the ferry. A shame because there were so many companies offering boats there, I am sure that these combinations exceed 400 people per day. I hiked around 13km (I only had Converse on, nothing more than that). The lighthouse was a nice place to break up the day, approx 1hr from either direction at an estimate - I came prepared with fresh bread, ham and cheese and had a small picnic. I had stopped by the chiringuito upon arrival, as advised to make a booking, but they had no fish and a bunch of other stuff off menu so I didn’t bother in the end and was grateful I had planned ahead just in case. There was some shade finally at the lighthouse - lacking elsewhere on the loop. Also very nice views over the island itself and out towards Lanzarote. As most reviews state - no toilets or shops, slather on the suncream as it’s sunny AND windy, hats and everything. I was worried the 4+ hours I had on the island would be too long but with the loop walk and a swim at the end it was the most perfectly timed day.

Beautiful Island with crystal blue clear water. Reminds of similar places in the caribbean. Can get crowded though during peak season. Should be a great place to snorkel. We tried it but we had more succes seeing different kinds of marine life in other places on Fuerteventura, like Morro Jable and Gran Tarajal . But because it's a cove the water is very calm and thanks the clarity there is great visibility. Be sure to stay on the paths because the island is a protected nature reserve. If you don't you may get yelled at by locals. There a multiple compagnies that offer day trips to the island, all departing from Coralejo. So take the ferry and have a relaxing day at Isla de Lobos!

Wonderful island near Corralejo, Fuerteventura. Accessible by boat with a range of competitors providing options from little speed boats through to larger craft costing around €16 for a day return trip. You can walk around the whole island on a circular route in 2-2.5 hours which we found well worth it to sample the fascinating range of landscapes on the island. The volcano Montana La Caldera to the west of the island is well worth the climb although it can be busy with tourists. There is a nice beach (Playa de la Concha) 10-15 minutes from the port. We went there to relax after our long walk until our return boat. There are no real facilities on the island so make sure you bring food and drink. There is also limited opportunities for shade. Very nice place to visit though and highly recommended.

Stunning island with amazing scenery and a really nice walk. You do have book in advance to get the boat to the island as I believe there is a daily capacity on how many visitors the island can have. Be sure to take comfortable footwear and plenty of water and snacks. Make sure to use the bins located around the walking path for any trash :)

A stunning, expansive beach with almost white, powdery sand. The water is icy cold but crystal clear. The surrounding dunes add a unique and beautiful touch to the scenery. There’s plenty of roadside parking since the beach stretches out over a large area. For me, it’s the most beautiful beach on the island – an absolute must-visit while in Fuerteventura.

Water & Amusement Parks
Located on the southern edge of Corralejo, Acua Water Park is a popular destination for families and thrill-seekers alike. The park features nine different water slides suitable for all ages, a lazy river, a wave pool, and a giant jacuzzi. For those traveling with kids, there's also Gambito Games, an arcade with a bowling alley. Spanning 25,000 square meters, the park offers 14 water features including traditional slides and a wave pool.
Ok, maybe the river part is unimpressive, the waves are okeyish and the slides are average overall, but all this is worth so much more without long lines, crowds, and high prices. The park is reasonably priced, the staff is nice (although weirdly fixated on banning smart watches), and it is fun to spend time there.
Dariusz ( — Google review
Nice waterpark. We've visited with our kids today, 104e for family of 4 is good price in my opinion, weather was average as wind was mad, little sun but apart from that good spot. Many slides and pools for various people. Staff was kind. Make sure you bring warm clothing just in case. Thank you guys.
Lucas D — Google review
Really lovely place and wasn't packed when we went which is always a plus. Their "fast track" is basically hiring out floating. You can either hire out yellow ones and not wait or wait for people to be done with the blue ones on that particular ride. Fun slides and not a mental wave pool. Only one slide (red and black) was able to be used with a double ring. All the others were with no ring at all. And no slides are for like a family to go down, which was disappointing. Also the lazy river really needs more of a current. The amount of times we got stuck still and had to use the walls to push off. Ended up getting out and pushing my son in the ring. It was a lazy river but not lazy for yourself. More of a work out by the end of it lol. Overall probably wouldn't go back but did have a really good time
Kayla G — Google review
Really enjoyed our trip to Acua Water Park. It's not too expensive (€104 for 2 adults and 2 kids) and we had a great time on all of the slides. Plenty of sun beds available and we got a spot in front of the main slides which worked out well. The kids absolutely loved jumping off the ledges into the 4 metre deep pool - it might have been their favourite thing to do. The lazy river lived up to its name and was very slow. You can to keep paddling or pushing yourself to move. The food was good and reasonably priced. And queues for the rides weren't bad at all. There is an option to rent your own tube for €6, but we didn't and never had to wait long for one. One good thing to note is that the slides all close at 5. We weren't aware of that and would have tried to go on a few more times.
Jamie R — Google review
Although the price is somewhat high, it is a great family day out. The facilities are clean. Lifeguards are everywhere keeping the place save and keep everything moving smooth. Food is ok. I would suggest to bring plenty of snacks and drinks.
David W — Google review
We had a fun day at Acua Park. Lots of different slides to try. All felt safe and well marshalled. Favourites were the Rapid River which I found mildly terrifying. The waits weren't long and we didn't wait too long to pick up blue rings which are used and handed over after various rides. To avoid any wait you can hire the yellow rings you keep and return. Lockers were available for 6Euros, which we took. There was something for all ages and plenty to challenge the cowards among us.
Rich C — Google review
The water park was a great time, little to no wait to get on any of the slides. The wave pool every hour was awesome but could get busy depending on what hour you go. The lazy spa needs so work, it basically doesn't work 😅 but all the other "rides" make up for that! Deffo worth a trip if you are close or the day trip if you are travelling further!

Playa del Castillo is a city beach known for sunbathing, swimming, and picnicking. It offers scenic views and a tranquil atmosphere. Located in a protected bay near Caleta de Fuste, the gently lapping waters are perfect for various activities such as snorkeling and interacting with sea lions. The beach is family-friendly with excellent amenities including transport connections, sunbeds, restaurants, and watersports.
Shallow waters near the man-made sandy beach is perfect for a swim and for families with young children. I am guessing lighter sand had to be brought in because the natural sand on the island is volcanic, which is almost black. The sunbeds can be rented for around €10.50 for 2 for the whole day. There are free public toilets nearby that are kept clean and also a small bar that sells various drinks and snacks. The beach is quite a long stretch. I can imagine how busy it can get during the summer but February was perfect and quiet.

This beach is truly captivating – a wide stretch of fine, light-colored sand invites barefoot walks along the shore. The water is crystal clear, as transparent as glass, and usually remains calm, with gentle waves that make it perfect for swimming or simply relaxing in the sea. There’s a peaceful, almost secluded atmosphere here, ideal for anyone seeking a break from the crowds. What’s more, the facilities are maintained to a very high standard – the public restroom is spotless, which significantly adds to the comfort of the visit.

Excellent shopping centre, priced very reasonable too. We loved Spar so cheap compared to the rest of the island and their ludicrous prices. SPAR ALL THE WAY. Beachfront right outside, plenty of restaurants, games, cinema (I don’t think there was any English speaking movies when we went), even a kid area out front. Really cool I like it. Close to McDonalds too . Perfect location - you can walk here no car needed. You can also cross over under a bridge to get to both sides.

A few local cafes at the back of the shopping mall with some very tasty food. Visitors can explore the museum to learn about the diverse uses of salt throughout history, including its medicinal, culinary, and cultural significance. Additionally, guided tours provide an opportunity to witness the traditional method of salt extraction in the active salt marshes surrounding a small village with historic houses.
Lovely experience and educational for Adults and kids. Very small indoor and out door. We paid 30 euro for 4 Adults and two children

Super interesting and a really cheap price. We spent about 2 hours here. All of the people that worked there are really kind and helpful. We bought a glass jar witg fresh salt and a large bag of salt to bring home at a really low price. Very happy and will definitely come back when we holiday on Fuerteventura.
Rachel B — Google review
It's worth visiting them and buying some salt for home, to try. They actually make it on site. Support them rather than buying anything else in a souvenir shop. Very pleasant place, they've made the most of it. Bonus points for the chipmunks.
Eva V — Google review
As for things to do in Calle de Fuste... There really isn't much. Of course this is a relaxing tourist town which caters specifically for that. But if there is something that you want to see and experience... The Salt Museum should rate highly on your to-do list. Not only is the gift shop actually very good, with some high quality presents for the family friends you actually like back home. But the actual museum is really interesting and informative. Who knew there was so much you could learn about salt. Then you can actually see the salt farming process working. While it's not manned all the time, it's a very passive process. We were lucky to see a man using the farming technique. If I had to describe it, basically a man sweeps the top layer of salt off the sea water pond and pulls the salt aside to dry out on the rock. In the modern era it seems very unimportant, but in the times the farm was created in, it was extremely important. And it is interesting to see and find out how important salt actually was, and still is. Though the methods have improved and this farm has become almost obsolete as a commercial enterprise. The actual farm has a clever engineering process to it. The water is caught from sea spray, then funneled into tanks. Then siphoned into small ponds for dehydration and extraction. Of course it is far more impressive than I've described and Wifey and Hubby would recommend the visit. The only real downside is that it is outside of the town. Which means a long walk, but if you do decide to go, we recommend hiring a bike or scooter or go by car. Also the Barbary ground squirrels, often mistaken as chipmunks. Are very friendly and will take food from your hands here. So if you bring some veg or nuts, your children will love feeding them. We find that cucumbers, grapes, watermelon, Kiwis and peanuts work well. But remember it's a desert so watery fruits and veg works great. There is also a small cafe that serves soft drinks and crepes and waffles. A nice little treat on a hot day toiling on the salt farm...
James G — Google review
It's worth visiting. The museum is small but interesting. Outside you can see the process of how salt is made and next to it there's a mini beach.
Eric S — Google review
Entry is 6 euros for an adult. A small museum dedicated to telling the story of salt production on the island. It takes maybe an hour to see everything at a leisurely pace. English, Spanish and German video. Gift shop selling small samples of the salt produced on the site for €2.75. A cafe.
CLIVIGER — Google review
Lovely visit, very interesting. Friendly staff. Nice little shop. Walked there from Caleta De Fuste which took around an hour along the coast track. Returned by bus which was super easy and cheap.

Really interesting place to while away a couple of hours. We visited before getting our flight home, as it is only a short drive from the airport.

El Cotillo Beach, located on the northwest coast of Fuerteventura, is a stunning lagoon with white sandy beaches and clear waters. The warm and shallow lagoon is perfect for swimming and snorkeling, while sunbathers can relax on the beach with available sun loungers and umbrellas for rent. Nearby eateries offer a variety of dining options.
Love sandy beaches. Good fishing for vieja "parrot fish"
Josh B — Google review
Very nice beach, nice snorkeling. Very calm water, perfect for families with kids. I also liked the type of sand, which is a little bit different than on beaches on the east side of the island
Maria D — Google review
Lovely beach with sandy shore and crystal clear lagoons. It is about 15 mins walking from the bus stop. There are toilets and showers near the life guard. We prepared drink and food for the day because restaurans and shops are not near. Naturists and bikini sunbathers next to each other with no problem.

Beautiful beach , close to the town also some good places to eat in the area. Good for families with children because of the rocks that are bloking the waves ! Nice in the sunset!

Been a few times to this beach and it lovely and clean. Our 3 yr old grandson loved playing on the sand and in the water. It is a nudist beach as well 😎 we also went in the evening to watch sunset which I'd stunning highly recommend this. El Cotillo is a beautiful place to visit.
Catherine B — Google review
Love El Cotillo, there are turquoise, clear lagoons protected from the big waves on one side of town. The big, wild beach at the other side of town is good fun for waves. The town itself has gorgeous little shops and restaurants. Being on the west coast of the island too means that it’s a great spot for sunsets.
Kasia C — Google review
Amazing beach. White sands which makes also the water look turquoise, small lagunas with calm waters and then big waves further if you wish to have some fun. Not busy usually, restaurants few hundred metres away, car park close by. This place is great for relaxing and enjoying the view.
Stefan M — Google review
A beautiful tranquil beach with turquoise waters and white sand on the north west of the island. It is clearly a trendy area, normally frequented by cool surfer types, I say normally because like all areas at the moment due to the Covid restrictions are very quiet. But anyway if you are staying nearby or perhaps drive up to the North to visit the volcano then this is a great stop over. We spent a couple of hours chilling on the beach in the hot sun, yes it was a bit breezy but thanks to the stone built wind breakers, once you lie down on your towel, you hardly notice the wind at all. There was free parking directly on the beach and a lot of little restaurants and shops nearby. Highly recommended when you visit Fuerteventura

Unbelievable place to visit. Crazy road to it, but worth the hair raising moments negotiating the bends of the road with sheer drops off the edge, whilst praying no one was coming the other way! Absolutely spectacular views from the top. Interesting lighthouse, although the building museum wasn’t open it was a great place to walk around. Be prepared for the strong winds. Walking to the viewing platform is not for the faint hearted - but if you can manage it, it’s worth it.

The view is worth all my fear while driving up. Road is very narrow. Is few car bays where you can passing other car. On google you can see is open from 10 o'clock. I've been there after 10 o'clock and was still close so I'm not sure if you can enter inside the faro.

Great view, worth visiting. The road to the lighthouse is very narrow, no borders, if you re afraid of heights be prepared to drive slowly. But the view is worth it. A big museum of African masks, sculptures inside the lighthouse, looks very impressive and surrealistic! Was surprised that such great collection and free entrance. Would galdy buy some miniatures for good memories, but nothing there.

Fantastical view, it's worth the vist. It's easy to reach, by car, or a 20 minute hike ( if you leave your car down ). Don't get intimidated by the other comments, the road is wide enough for two cars, and also the traffic is not big, just drive slowly. There isn't much to do, enjoy the view and make some photos.

Amazing view. Well made statues, nice and big. Holding the statues' private parts while having your picture taken seemed quite a popular thing to do.

Made the trip to the status from Corralejo...about 40 min drive....lovely scenery on route. Stopped off for a quick photo opportunity of Tindaya Mountain....great view. The status area itself has parking on bother sides of road. Great view and photo opportunities of surrounding areas...as you are on one of the highest points on the island! ...and I have to mention the numerous and friendly squirrels! Take a short stroll on the various trails in the area....and the curious nature of these little creatures will bring them right up to your feet! .... Once you're finished with photos etc....you can continue your drive down to the little picturesque village of Betancuria...and park up and stop for a quick coffee or snacks in a cafe.

In the heart of Fuerteventura lies the charming town of Betancuria, a must-visit destination offering a blend of history, culture, and culinary delights. The Iglesia de Santa María de Betancuria stands as a focal point within the designated Historic Site of Betancuria. Originally built in the 15th century in Gothic style, it underwent reconstruction over the centuries, resulting in an impressive blend of Mudejar, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture.
Betancuria, the island's old capital, is a charming and picturesque town that we really enjoyed visiting. The historic atmosphere and beautiful surroundings make it a lovely spot to explore. There's also a historical church with a €2 entrance fee if you’d like to visit. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Aguas Verdes

Nature preserve
Nature & Parks
Aguas Verdes, which translates to "green pools," is located on the wild west coast of Fuerteventura in Playa del Valle. When visiting, it's important to input Playa del Valle as your destination on Google Maps to avoid being directed to a holiday complex. The area features a small beach and shallow pools hidden among the rocks that can be explored at certain times.
Omg! What an experience we had. First, the place is spectacular. Second, you should definitely be very careful. It's important to go at low tide. Not a proper place for children or people with mobility problems. To be honest, i guess we almost missed the low tide and the waves began to flood the natural pools, one by one. It happend to catch us in two of the pools, but it wasn't that bad. It's a dangerous place, if you don't choose the right moment.
A-L.C — Google review
Nice place. We saw many crabs. Even death ones. Large area to explore.
Fajns P — Google review
I wasn't expecting much but actually really loved this place. The rocks are nice and interesting to explore. The sea is beautiful with these little pools with beautiful clear water. Cold in May but was okay for short swim. We saw many crabs which is the reason why I wanted to go in the first place. don't miss this, go for a walk to the right
Agnes E — Google review
Aguas Verdes is wild and beautiful — absolutely worth the trip. There’s enough parking, but the last few kilometers are off-road (still fine with a regular car if careful). No cafes, no mobile coverage, no services — so download offline maps and bring water. What you get in return is stunning: dramatic volcanic rock formations, crashing Atlantic waves, tide pools, and sea crabs. Raw, quiet, and powerful — a perfect spot for nature lovers who don’t mind a bit of rugged access.
Dima B — Google review
Reality is pretty diff. If you don't get good wheater you can't swim there. Also one hint if u want to swim there u must bring your swimshoes for yourself
Filip T — Google review
Amazing place! You can see fish and sea urchins if you have a snorkeling mask. Also, check the tide before going there, go if there is a low tide, there are more natural pool to swim in and more fish, also fresh water
Anna — Google review
Place between rock with multiple besutifull natural pools where you can swim. Crabs are chilling on the rocks and trying to catch sun :)
Ondrej K — Google review
It's an interesting spot where natural pools are carved by the waves in the rocky shore. There are some good views to be seen and you can observe how salt crystals form after the seawater evaporates. You can also spot a lot of crustaceans. Keep in mind that the beach is rather small and dangerous (slippery rocks, steep incline, currents) so you should choose another place if you want to go for a swim.

If you are after a peaceful holiday, this is the place for you. You can catch the sun rise, if you are up early enough. A lot of walls have cool murales, some are unfortunately fading. There's a clown festival in October, called Tran Tran, which brings in a lot tourists.

The Canarian climate provides ideal conditions for cultivating aloe vera, making it an educational experience to learn about its healing properties firsthand.
Raul's presentation was excellent. He was professional and funny at the same time. He helped us choose the perfect and healthy products. It's just a shame that we found out about the promotions for larger purchases after we paid. Definitely worth a visit and buying natural alove vera products!

This was one of the best days of my life! You really should visit that place. The owner is so kind and welcoming. She lets you take your time, you can stroll through the shop, look and read - she does not force herself on you and does not try to sell you stuff you don’t need. When asked she explained to us some of the cremes, there benefits but also interesting insights about the Aloe Vera plant and the island Fuerteventura. We could have a look at the plants and all of a sudden she gave me a plant for free. I was and still am so overwhelmed by this generous gesture - even more since she explained that a plant needs 5 years of growing until it can be used for production. I named the plant Vera and will make sure she will make it home safely. If you go there pls don’t expect her to gift you something. In any case it is worth visiting - also because she explains to you how to distinguish good Aloe Vera products from cheap fakes. I’m still so happy. P.s. my Wife wrote this I took the photos and drove there :)

We just visited the aloe farm. Didi explained all the details about how aloe is grown, quality criteria of aloe vera products and how to mix your own cosmetic products with aloe gel. Didi is super friendly and welcoming. We bought a couple of aloe products as we particularly enjoyed Didis explanations and are convinced that this farms products are really high quality. I would recommend to rather buy directly from the farm instead of any other general stores on the island. We definitely learned a lot new things about the aloe vera plant. Thanks Didi 🙏🙏🙏

Ajuy Caves, also known as Cuevas del Viento, are a remarkable geological site located in the small fishing village of Ajuy on the west coast of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. These natural caves were formed by lava flows from a volcano millions of years ago and have been declared a Natural Monument. Recognized for their geological significance, they offer visitors an opportunity to learn about the island's formation and history dating back 70 million years.
Beautiful walk along the coast and then into the caves. Make sure you have decent footwear as it is very slippy when walking down the steps into the cave. We had a drink and ice cream at one of the local bars/restaurant after.

Very nice place, we visited in October around 6 p.m. and there was wonderful atmosphere, very nice sunset. Interesting place. There is a small beach with black sand.
Petr K — Google review
Touristic place but the caves are really impressive and the beach is quite unique on the island. The path to the cave is very well signposted and well organized for everyone to visit. You can visit the main very profound cave but if you can you can cross some rocks and visit many more areas which makes the visit quite adventourous. Come with good shoes even because in the innest part of the cave you can find some water and it can be slippering mostly because is quite dark. At the end of the visit I would recommend to swim on the beach where the right side of the beach is more protected by the rocks even if the ocean can be very rough. After the swim a nice coffee or meal at the close restaurant could close a wonderful visit.
Mariano — Google review
An impressive area with lots of caves. Also seeing the power of the sea is stunning. But know that seeing the caves is tricky, you have to have good footwear and good balance because the path to the caves starts on a nice laid path, but becomes more and more challenging along the way.

Very interesting and worth visiting! Short hike will bring you to two black caves. The hike was easy, but there were a lot of people walking without proper sport shoes, so they were very slow and it was quite annoying because they caused little "traffic jams". Bring some flash light, which will allow you to go deep to these caves
