Playa Flamingo is a stunning white-sand beach that offers visitors a delightful escape with its inviting promenade, refreshing showers, and sunbathing terrace. Nestled within walking distance of the town center, it stands alongside other picturesque beaches like Playa Dorada and Town Beach, all perfect for swimming and soaking up the sun. For those seeking adventure beyond Playa Flamingo, the nearby Papagayo beaches are renowned for their natural beauty and tranquility.
Lovely little sandy beach. A great spot for snorkelling and swimming. We went on the weekend, arriving late morning. There was still plenty of space and it never got super busy. It is also empty at sunset and is a lovely spot to chill. A good selection of bars/restaurants on the promenade, plus a handy little supermarket.

Cozy beautiful beach with clear water and sandy bottom. Sand is white (artificial), very pleasant compared to the black one on the whole island. 😀 Perfect for swimming. Vibe like at Calais in Cala d‘or in Mallorca. One point less since it’s small and full of kids.

A really lovely little, manmade sandy beach. Protected by the walls the water is super calm. Whilst the western edge is a bit rocky the eastern part of the beach is 100% sandy with zero issues walking in and our of the water. Lovely soft sand. I stayed at TUI Blue Flamingo Beach which is the hotel right on this beach. It can and does get busy but not too busy. There are a couple shops, restaurants, bars, a cafe and an ice cream parlour overlooking the beach. It is served by a 13km promenade. There are no services on this beach such as toilets, changing rooms or rentable sun loungers. The mini marts have lockers you can rent.

Where do I even begin? We made a terrible mistake by booking our holiday at Merry Hill Store. My husband, daughter, and I were all excited to go, especially after our agent highly recommended it. We arrived late at night and were sent to a room the furthest away from anything, across a road. To make matters worse, the key cards didn’t work. I went back to reception and asked for a room closer to the front of the hotel, away from any open road. They gave me room A37, but the toilet was making noises like a T-Rex, and the shower didn’t work properly. These issues were reported on the first day. The TUI team on site, on the chat, and the hotel staff advised us multiple times that maintenance would fix it, but they never did. They didn’t even go to our room at any point. On the morning of day 5, they offered to move rooms, but it was day 5 of a 7-day stay! I was given a key for another unsafe and isolated room, just as bad as the first. The ceiling had been replaced multiple times and looked like it had been lifted and shifted out of Baghdad. There were cracked tiles everywhere that people could get hurt, and multiple chunks of concrete steps were missing from areas, leaving raised metal drains that could cut open people’s feet. The entire hotel was dirty. From the eatery to the stairs leading to the rooms, there was rubbish and hair everywhere. It was clear that the hotel needed money spent on it rather than TUI sending that money elsewhere. The food was also a major issue. There was fish in the cheesey pasta, undercooked food, and basic hygiene was missing from the dirty plates. Hair was even found in the food as it was placed on the surface. It was just disgraceful. On another day, a child was sick in the food area, and the family was not seen for a few days after. I requested a downgrade of our food option, as evidenced by the photo I have (it’s £934). Multiple placards around the hotel advertised the costs of upgrading. The place is a health and safety hazard. We’ve spent over £1000 eating out of the hotel because of its poor quality and dangerous conditions. Why can’t you downgrade if you can upgrade? It’s the same process in reverse! After speaking to other people, I discovered that the entire hotel is in the same state, and the staff are fully aware of it. The TUI rep, Dylan, offered to sort my late check-out, but it was only until 2 pm because they had others coming into our room. I asked how he could possibly put people in the room knowing its condition, but he said that was his problem to sort out if they complained. He’s sent me a link to refund me the 20 euros to the wrong mobile number, which seems like it’s been done on purpose, I’ve asked the TUI team on the app a number of times to correct this and they still haven’t. An hour until we leave, and the receptionist recommended using the ‘spa’ shower, advising us to book it quickly as they get booked up. We went down to use them, and my 9-year-old daughter and I went to the ladies’ room. Next thing, there was a crash, and the shower door came off, hitting my daughter. She slipped and fell onto the raised basin, where there was a rusty latch or screw that had broken off. She has severe bruising and is screaming. I ran to the receptionist, who said she had told the hotel and TUI staff that they were not safe repeatedly, but her advice had been ignored. This clearly indicates that despite being told that there’s clearly no care from either TUI or hotel management. The TUI manager and the deputy hotel manager came down to speak to us. I asked the hotel manager to fetch a doctor, and he got the doctor to check Scarlett’s ribs to make sure they weren’t broken. This hotel is dangerously unsafe. I’m horrified that there’s no accountability or ownership of the issues we raised. Multiple laws are being broken, and it ended with my child sustaining a serious injury. I have photos of every point I’ve made above, including the injury she sustained.

Beautiful beach. Crystal clear waters. Small fish swimming around you and near to no rocks on the left hand side of the beach. One of the best beaches in Lanzarote.

We really enjoyed this beach - there were shops near and the beach was nice also! Perfect with kids but even without!

Very nice beach with calm water. Only thing is there's no sun loungers or umbrellas for rent. We spend there several hours on one day as it was cloudy but other days, Playa Dorada was our favourite.

Playa Dorada is a beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear water, making it perfect for families with small children or those looking to relax. The atmosphere is generally quiet and friendly, providing a great place to unwind. Despite being busy at times, the clean water and pleasant surroundings make it highly recommended for a peaceful beach day. Additionally, the area offers accessible facilities and friendly locals who go out of their way to provide extra support, ensuring a comfortable experience for all visitors.
Around 10 mins walk from Playa Blanca, one of the best beaches in the area, good for families with small children or for anyone to relax. Nice golden sand and the water is clean and calm. There is a restaurant with a nice view over the beach where you can enjoy a drink or food. There are other restaurants and bars in the area, and a nice promenade along the beach, lovely for a walk.

A typical resort beach located right in the heart of the resort area. It’s crowded with tourists, offering plenty of loungers and a few spots for those who prefer laying down their own towels. While convenient for resort guests—especially with a large parking area nearby—there are quieter, more scenic beaches elsewhere on the island for those seeking a more peaceful experience..
Marek D — Google review
Beautiful beach with sunbeds available if you get there early enough. Sea is quite calm and good for swimming and snorkeling. You can park near the road and walk down easily. There are a few snack bars and shops near by. There is a single shower which can have long queues (why did they only install 1???).
Stephen L — Google review
Amazing beach! Spectacular sunset views, turquoise water, affordable sun loungers (4 euro per item!), beautiful sand, showers, toilets, beach bars. What else you could ask for?? Only downside is when you have to leave home..
Dudo47ZG — Google review
Stayed for 5 days, visited the beach 4 days out of the 5. Lovely sandy beach, sea was calm whilst we were there but one of the days there was a strong undercurrent. Gets very deep very quickly depending on the tide state, 3 steps and i was out of my depth at one point.
Chris R — Google review
Whilst the schools were not out and so all holiday makers from various locations have yet to descend this was the busiest beach by far that we visited in early July. We arrived around midday and didn't find a lounger - i wasn't actually sure if we could rent one as there no signs so they may have been for hotel user only. But the sea was lovely after going in, considerable drop after about 8 foot in, so people with young kids be wary.
John B — Google review
Nice beach, clean sand and water. Great location. One can rent sun beds with or without umbrella, 4 euro each as of now, pay by cash or card, and even get an official receipt. The only drawback is absence of changing rooms, which is strange for such a popular place.
Leonid A — Google review
Really beautiful free sandy beach. It's protected with rocks, so waves wouldn't get too high. The water gets deep quite fast. High tide must go quite high because the sand is wet almost all the way up to the edge. I could find one shower, in the middle, but it had almost no pressure. Could not find a toilet. There are restaurants nearby. There are plenty of free parking spots on the roadsides.

Water & Amusement Parks
Park
Aqualava Water Park is a popular attraction in Fuerteventura, covering nearly 270,000 square miles and offering over a dozen aquatic rides and activities for visitors of all ages. The park features 5 water slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, kids' play structures, and concessions. It's an ideal spot to escape the hot summer sun near the town of Corralejo.
It is a part of hotel group but entrance is separate. I recommend buying pass for 1 -2 weeks. It’s way cheaper. Staffs are friendly. My children loved wave pool. Outside food is not allowed so you may end up buying all fried food they have on offer. I loved ice creams though. They have beach essentials in the shop in case you didn’t have time to buy. Definitely worth visiting 🙌
Rani S — Google review
Nice compact waterpark with a lazy river, kids pool with slides and activity zone, a bigger wave pool and 5 water slides. Plenty of staff around to help. Lots of inflatables for the rides when we went. It also has lockers, toilets, shower areas and a nice food area with burgers, chips, pizzas, kebabs, fruit, ice cream and drinks.. We went wen it opened at 10am and stayed till 430pm and they also have on site photographers that take pictures that you can view during you stay and purchase. My smallest girl and middle boy loved it as it was just a nice size park and wasn't mental busy.

Splashes of Fun, Waves of Disappointment: A Honest Dive into Aqua Lava Short Review: Aqua Lava Water Park in Lanzarote offers a handful of fun features, including a wave pool, kiddies' splash zone, lazy river, and slides, but ultimately feels outdated and uninspiring. While younger children might enjoy the splash zone and the slides provide some thrills, the park suffers from visible wear and tear, a lack of imaginative theming, and overpriced food with no outside options allowed. If your hotel has a pool, you’re not missing much, though it could be worth a short visit if entry is included in your stay. With some much-needed investment, Aqua Lava could live up to its potential, but as it stands, it’s a fairly underwhelming experience. Longer - detailed review: Nestled along a dusty main road just a five-minute walk north of Playa Flamingo Beach lies Aqua Lava, a water park that feels as though it has seen better days. With its rusted metal fixtures, bleached paint, and an overall sense of wear and tear, the park presents an outdated and tired aesthetic. That said, we visited in December—far from peak season—which undoubtedly contributed to the quiet, almost empty feel of the place. For us, entry was included with our hotel package, so we felt it was worth at least one visit. While the park’s overall appearance left much to be desired, my son did have a lot of fun, which ultimately made the trip worthwhile. However, Aqua Lava offers a limited range of activities, so here’s a breakdown of what you can expect: 1. Beach Pool The medium-sized beach pool was equipped with an hourly wave machine that added some fun to the experience, albeit briefly. The pool used saltwater and was icy cold, which limited how much time we wanted to spend in it. It was adequate for a short swim but not particularly memorable. 2. Kiddies' Splash Zone This was one of the highlights of the park and is clearly designed with younger children in mind. With smaller slides and a climbing area topped off by a 10-minute bucket-dump feature, it’s a lively spot that younger kids would undoubtedly enjoy. While our children are a bit older now, it was clear that this section of the park is its most appealing feature. 3. Lazy River (Magma River) The Lazy River was unfortunately a letdown. Its short circuit felt uninspired, and the lack of decorative touches such as plants or themed elements left it feeling bare and uninviting. The water tubes sat deflated and unused, further adding to the overall sense of neglect. A little imagination and investment could make this a much more engaging feature. 4. Slides The park has five slides, four of which require a tube to ride. My son enjoyed these and, to be fair, the speed and thrill of the slides provided some genuine fun. The space bowl slide was a nice addition, but the slides overall felt like standard fare rather than an exciting experience. Like much of the park, they suffered from the same tired, uneventful aesthetic. 5. Restaurant Area As is often the case with water parks, the restaurant area was overpriced, and the park’s strict policy against bringing outside food meant we were left with no choice but to purchase from there. This could be an inconvenience for families planning a longer stay. Final Thoughts We only stayed at Aqua Lava for a couple of hours, which felt sufficient given the limited attractions and overall atmosphere. For visitors already staying in Lanzarote with access to a hotel pool, Aqua Lava doesn’t offer much you’d be missing. Families with younger children might enjoy the splash zone, but for most, this water park is unlikely to be a standout feature of their holiday. That said, the park has potential, and with some much-needed investment in branding, decor, and upkeep, it could become a more engaging and memorable destination. As it stands, Aqua Lava feels like a relic of a bygone era that’s in desperate need of some fresh life.

Visited with my 3 and 7 year olds and we were all slightly disappointed. As other reviews have noted the park is a bit shabby and could do with an upgrade. The food was fine (basic and fairly pricey - exactly as you’d expect) but the ordering system was clunky - only one electronic kiosk to order for everyone. We were dropped off at 10.30am by bus and were all very ready to go home at 3pm. We visited Rancho Texas the day after and had a much better all round experience/better value for money.
Anna L — Google review
Fun few hours - totally recommend the half day pass (after 2pm arrival for discounted entry). There is a lazy river that you don’t need a ring for (but that’s the point isn’t it?) a few tube slides, a wave pool and a great kids pool with a MASSIVE bucket that dumps loads of cold water every 5 mins or so. Lockers are by the entrance so you can lock away your valuables and have fun without the worry.

Staying in the hotel connected ...seperate company . Clean & life guards are plenty The little cafe we get included as all inclusive .. Food great ...displayed to a high standard especially the salad . Good choices of food & drink . Cannot praise this water park enough. granchildren loved it especially the wave pool x Would reccommend .

Nice park, very clean and well kept. Not a full day for older children, but the food is good and the rides are entertaining. Certainly worth a visit.
Steve W — Google review
Great little water park just minutes from Playa Blanca. Probably best for families up to early teens. It's compact - but in a good way for families. You can't bring in your own food - so be prepared for food bags being held in reception 😁. You can easily pop out to eat and go back in though! Amenities: - Shower rooms (not used by us) - Showers throughout the resort, weak water pressure but just to rinse off salt water - Canteen, a bit confusing as partially self service and 'to order', but quality is fine. Includes chips, nuggets, hotdogs, pasta, pizza slices, fruit, beer, fizzy and fruit drinks. All reasonable prices - Lazy river, decent size and good 'current'. Shallow water, so good for paddling too - 'Water House', with giant bucket splashing every 20mins (ish), 3/4 baby slides, various places to hide - Slides for small kids, by the Water House, one bendy and one quite wide for races - Wave pool, for dipping or wave surfing every hour. Exciting for kids 6+, but not too hectic! - 5 'adult' slides, for 120cm+, two for inflatables and 3 for bodies. Decent blend of 'open', 'closed' tubes, both fast and slow. Fine for kids aged 6yrs and beyond - Various chairs throughout the venue (no real sun loungers) General observations (good and bad): - Decent value even for a half day, if not full day - Compact so easy to stay close to family - Difficult to find shade by chairs, if arriving late - Limited reception staff, so queues possible when busy - Limited life guards, so parents must remain watchful - Sometimes difficult to get an inflatable as people would hold onto them after each ride. Lifeguards can help, but otherwise up to parents to get aggressive and snatch from people as required 😆. In fairness, this improved throughout the day - as people realised how to share (!!)

Restaurante Los Hervideros is a popular dining spot in Playa Blanca, attracting both locals and tourists. It offers a mix of Canarian, Mediterranean, and Spanish cuisine with a focus on fresh fish and goat meat. The restaurant aims to revive Portuguese cuisine by putting an innovative twist on traditional cooking methods while celebrating the country's culinary heritage. Visitors can expect friendly service, delicious food, and a lovely atmosphere with sunset views if seated upstairs.
A lovely little find. We have dined here twice so far, on our holiday. You need to book, as tables fill up quickly. Sign of good dining. Food was excellent local fayre. Service very good. It has a lovely atmosphere about it and is competitively priced. Will return. June 25. Been back again this year. It is just as good. Booked again for next week. Sangria here is best I have had.

A lovely spot right in the center — slightly hidden but easy to find. The food was incredibly fresh and full of flavour, truly some of the best we’ve had! The hosts were so kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We loved it so much we went back twice during our stay, and we’d definitely return again. It’s a small restaurant with only a few tables, so make sure to book in advance. If you can’t reach them by phone, just message them on Instagram — it works perfectly. Highly recommended!

My wife and I booked this restaurant for an evening meal, using the website. Booking was straightforward and easy. We enjoyed a delicious and freshly cooked meal. I had the onion and gratin soup, my wife seasonal vegetable soup. For mains I had the stone bass and my wife had the sole. Both courses were really tasty and generous in size. So good in fact, we booked a table for two at the same venue for the following night! I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant, a traditional Canarian/Spanish eaterie.

A lovely restaurant that we always visit when in Playa Blanca. Really friendly and great quality food at very reasonable prices. Never been disappointed once since we started visiting Lanzarote in 2016. Some say a restaurant is only as good as its last meal, well this one has been excellent for the last 10 in a row! Hight Recommended if you enjoy local cuisine cooked to perfection.

Los Hervideros Restaurant is always a highlight of our trips to Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. The food is consistently fresh, full of flavour, and served in generous portions. We’ve been here several times, and it never disappoints — it’s become a must-visit spot every stay! The waitress is wonderful — she still remembers us each time we come, which makes it feel like a true home away from home. The restaurant might be tucked away a little, but it’s absolutely worth finding. Prices are fantastic (better than many others around), and you can’t leave without trying their ½ jug of sangria — it’s a must! 🍷 Trust me when I say, once you go, you’ll already be planning your next visit. If you’re after a later dinner, it’s best to book ahead — it does get busy with reservations! The updated menu just makes us even more excited to return. Highly recommend this hidden gem! 👏☺️

Superb restaurant. Just off the main drag. Staff were friendly and attentive. We sat upstairs which was lovely and airy and had a nice sunset view. We had a prawn cocktail, fish soup and garlic prawns to start which were cooked perfectly. Mains consisted of 2 fish dishes and 2 steaks. All perfect. Left feeling rather full altho the portions didn't look huge. Had sangria and white wine which was recommended by the server and was tasty and not expensive. Would highly recommend.

Marina Rubicon is a beautiful and picturesque marina with a different atmosphere compared to the main town of Playa Blanca. It offers lovely views, great shops, and a variety of excellent restaurants. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll or indulge in some shopping while admiring the stunning surroundings. The market on Wednesdays and Saturdays is particularly popular, offering plenty to see and treat oneself to.
Superb marina. Lots of good restaurants. The market on Wednesday and Saturday is very busy but fun. The shops and bars are good the rest of the time, when it is much quieter and quite a different experience. Worth walking up the hill to the fort and exploring some of the out of the way shops and bars on the way up there too.

Heard a market was on Wednesdays and Saturdays so went for a nosey. Good variety of stalls. crafts, pictures hand made items etc. Also a good variety of restaurants, some expensive some not so much. But a lovely area to walk around. Plenty boats big and small, walk out to the point. Nice shops to look at too, clothes, shoe etc. Worth taking a look. :)

Avenida 55 is a laid-back restaurant in Playa Blanca, known for its authentic Italian cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. Visitors have praised the traditional housemade pizzas, flavorful Italian entrees, and outdoor seating options. Guests have enjoyed dishes like seafood spaghetti for its delicious flavors and generous portions at reasonable prices. The friendly service has also been highlighted, with attentive staff adding to the overall positive dining experience.
We tried too many dishes to list, and they were all fantastic. The pizza, pasta, and salads were excellent—especially the quattro formaggi. We can never leave an Italian restaurant without trying the tiramisu, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. We were so focused on the delicious food that we barely spoke during the meal. Thank you for making all our previous bad dinners a distant memory! We had an amazing time!

This is one of those little gems you walk past and will be gutted to have not tried! This is a solid 11/10 place to visit. The staff are absolutely amazing, the food is some of the best Italian I have ever had, and the venue is lovely and just calm. Was even more delighted to know they do takeaway pizza, so when I am next in Lanzarote, I know where I’m going on the first night. Such a lovely place and if you’re in the mood for Italian, put this on your go to list!!

Wow. My lad called it a hidden gem and he’s spot on. Best Italian possible and I’ve been to Italy many times. As good as a really good proper Italian. Lovely, quick, reasonable price especially given the quality. Going back a few days later as we all loved it.

I was really impressed by this restaurant. Based on the high reviews, I expected an overloaded restaurant upon our arrival, nevertheless, we were among the first to arrive around 19:00 on a Saturday. With this review I can be brief: * Great and kind service * A large menu, with authentic Italian dishes, but I was also surprised with some dishes I had never encountered. * Very big portions for an affordable price. I highly recommend this restaurant. I was so full I did not eat breakfast the following morning.

Liken Restaurante, located in the heart of Marina Rubicon, is a vibrant modern restaurant with an open kitchen and impressive wine cellar. The food standard is excellent, especially the fish and steak dishes. The oysters and blue lobster special are highly recommended. While not a tapas bar, it offers incredible starters that make it worth a visit before moving on to other places.
Undoubtedly the best food in the port. Creative and very ably cooked. Very good wine menu too. New surroundings and excellent port view if eating at lunch time. We booked after asking a customer who was coming out last night would they go back. They said they went 3 times last year and would do the same this year. An excellent reco so we booked for tonight and their reco was sound.

The tomate de Lanzarote and the Gambas ajillo were excellent. The main dish was not remarkable but the chocolate mousse and the recuerdo abuela were unforgettable. La Chalanita is a well-established Mediterranean restaurant located by Playa Blanca beach, offering stunning ocean views and a memorable dining experience, especially during sunset. The restaurant's classic menu caters to seafood lovers and vegetarians alike, earning it a strong reputation over the years. Visitors can enjoy watching the chefs prepare paellas in front of them, adding an entertaining element to their meal.
Really lovely, friendly staff. Fantastic food. Really reasonably priced. If I ever return to Lanzarote, I’ll definitely be making a trip to this incredible restaurant.

We found this place whilst looking for another restaurant that turned out to be closed! I'm really glad we did. The owners were very kind and sorted us out with a table after a short wait. I'd recommend booking because it's popular. The garlic prawns were some of the nicest we ate on this holiday. The mains were good, but I think we should have tried one of the flambé dishes for which they are justifiably well known. We did go for the crêpe Susette and they were perfect. Absolutely melt in the mouth gorgeous. The décor is quite traditional but intimate and the view out over the sea is lovely. The main entrance is just up some steps from the seafront walkway in a tiny street halfway between the front and the main shopping street. But there is a door on the seafront which can easily be missed. Good wines and drinks topped off a really enjoyable dinning experience. We'd definitely go back.

Lovely food and great staff. Really enjoyed a lovely fillet steak in green pepper sauce and a lovely strawberry tiramisu. Sangria had a good kick as well

Food is reeeeally tasty and the drinks are also very good! After having had a variety of drinks, we wanted to end the day with an espresso martini and it turned out to be one of the tastiest we've ever had! An absolute plus is the location right by the water - sometimes you can get a 4D experience with the waves crashing onto the walkway! Definitely recommended, in comparison to the busier places on the promenade.

Absolutely Outstanding Experience – Highly Recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The service was impeccable – attentive without being intrusive, and every member of the staff made us feel truly valued. The food was simply outstanding. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. You can really tell that high-quality, fresh ingredients are used. Every bite was a delight – from the starters to the dessert, everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It's rare to find a place where both the food and the service exceed expectations, but this was one of those rare gems. We left not only satisfied but already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates excellent cuisine and top-tier service!

Delicious! Incredibly fresh and tasty! The local shrimp (red), sea bass and grouper were excellent. Good house wine and service.

Flambéed steaks excellent. Comes with rice but you can ask for fries if preferred. Book for a window seat

Great food, lovely service, booking in advance is advised as it does get busy. We had lovely house white wine, salmon tartar and grilled baby squid to start and red snapper as main which was the best fish we ever had. For deserts we had the creme brulee and chocolate fondant ice cream. The service was very professional and fast. Recommended.

Tapas bar
Bar & grill
Café Berrugo is a popular spot known for its fantastic tapas and lively atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of delicious options such as prawns, octopus, wild boar, and meatballs with an especially tasty sauce. The staff are quick and attentive, providing a warm welcome to visitors. Situated by the marina, this family-run café has reasonable prices and friendly service. Guests have enjoyed complimentary shots of honey rum after their meals.
Stopped for a great meal with my daughter. Great paella, ice cold drink, fun and friendly staff. Best value meal on the marina. Lovely appetisers and shot to finish off

This is our absolute favourite tapas bar in Playa Blanca and one that we visit many many times on our holiday. The team are great the food is amazing and the owner Sven is such a lovely person and always looks after you. We can’t wait to go back next year.

The Bar has plenty of space for people, and is protected from the wind. The marina is clearly visible from the tables and makes for a great scenery. For the food and drinks, the Bar features a wide array of normal drinks to specialties, and has a good selection of special meats, salads, pizza, and tapas. A selection from a children's menu is available for the little ones. The tapas is great quality, and flavourful. The mojo sauce seems to be homemade. The filet meats are prepared at the table with a small grill. The foods range from 5€ to 30€. Around 7:30pm it's getting really crowded, but it's still possible to understand the people around the table. Yet a reservation might be good for a larger group. The personnel is really attentive, creative when it comes to special needs and makes sure that everyone is fully happy. Allergies are taken into account, special wishes are listened to. Thank you for the great evening to the team.

Best tapas place in the area. Cool atmosphere with a nice mix of tourists and locals. The "pour your own shot of frozen caramel vodka on the house" was an unexpected but very nice surprise 😊

Didn’t have a great experience here. Staff were nice enough but missed the opportunity to get a higher bill as they ignored a couple of drinks orders. I’d be surprised if they actually have a chef as the tapas dishes we had were all blatantly procured from a supermarket ready made and then warmed up. The meatballs were the finest(?) example of this - anyone from the UK that’s ever been (un)lucky enough to have a tin of Campbells meatballs will recognise the anti-albondigas here. Seriously would not recommend this place.

Mediterranean restaurant
Restaurant Casa Carlos is a popular dining spot located in Playa Blanca Lanzarote, offering a modern and bright interior with stunning ocean views. The menu features a variety of Mediterranean dishes including fish, meat, pizza, and pasta, as well as modern options like the highly recommended curry prawns paired with local white wine. The warm and welcoming atmosphere created by Carlos and his staff makes it an ideal choice for visitors.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A gem by the sea – stunning views and exceptional service We had a fantastic experience at Casa Carlos. The service from the owner and staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming — they really go the extra mile to make you feel at home. The food was top quality from start to finish, beautifully presented and full of flavour. There’s a great wine list, very reasonable prices, and the relaxed atmosphere made for a perfect evening. The sea view is absolutely breathtaking — especially at sunset — so make sure to book ahead (easy to do online). Friendly vibes, calm setting, excellent service… just a wonderful all-round experience. Thank you, Casa Carlos!

Was recommended Casa Carlos for our anniversary meal by a local. Nice welcome and outdoor table overlooking the sea and lovely decor. As the booking was for an anniversary we had hoped that we may have had a free glass of Cava or some small treat on the table, but there was nothing. Wine list had lots of choice and went with Rose Champagne which was great. Starters were very nice, beef carpaccio and prawn/scallop stuffed tomato. Mains were Lamb shoulder and crispy duck. Mains came out barely 5 minutes after the starters had finished which is far too fast and although the meats were very tasty, the amount of duck was too much on the plate, but in contrast the tiny amount of vegetables were undercooked and bland. With cocktails to finish the bill was almost 200 Euros, and still no complimentary drink or congratulations from the staff. Nice restaurant, food could be great with small tweaks, but service was too fast and not made to feel special.

Our favourite restaurant in Playa Blanca. We visited last year and loved it so much we pre booked in advance for this years visit. Service is attentive and can seem fast but was always with a smile. Fantastic wine list, incredibly helpful and attentive staff. Fabulous food. Highly recommend. [Pictured: Steak Carpaccio; Bone-in Wagyu Steak; Champagne Scallops.

The view attracts us initially but the food won us over too. We stopped for lunch without booking but we’re lucky to sit outside. The main menu is extensive but also there is a big menu of specials . We both had fish various ways including raw in the tartare. They did have gluten free bread which was a bonus, the truffle butter went down a treat with my partner and his freshly baked normal bread. Service was prompt but not hurried, the waiters all seemed to enjoy their job and have a bit of fun also which is good to see. They do have a number of local wines including the famous blue bottled one, we were leisurely finishing our wine without being hurried. Would come again

Beautiful location and ambiance. Food was high quality and super tasty! Had a wonderful meal here with family. We also came here just for drinks one afternoon after visiting Playa Blanca market and sat under the canopy with stunning views of the sea and Playa Blanca town. Highly, highly recommend.

Lovely restaurant with daily fresh catch of the day. Prices are on the expensive side but the dishes are totally worth it. Octopus are soft and crispy on the outside. Cheese parcel are crispy and chewy in the middle like a mochi. Razor clam is soft and fresh. Mussels are fresh and you can taste the original sweetness. Both dishes didn’t have fancy seasoning but it’s truly delicious due to its freshness. Lasagne is a normal lasagne suit my English husband taste bud. 🤣

Very disappointing meal and service. Arrived at 8:30pm, and after being seated it took over 15 minutes to place our order - for some reason there is only one person with an iPad able to take orders despite there being about 10 waiters. When we were served they said we couldn't order a paella as they had no space, despite a table that ordered 5 minutes after us being able to order a paella (and spoiler - got their meal before we did?). The biggest issue here, was how long the food took to arrive and lack of communication. We were waiting over 30 minutes after ordering to get even our starter, a tuna tartare that is cold and was so simple (just tuna and avocado) that it could of been made in 30 seconds. A table that ordered at the same time as us had already been given and finished eating their mains when we finally got the starter. It was not worth the wait or even eating here in the first place. The mains finally came after, over an hour after ordering. The black rice was overly salty and flavour was plain, not worth over €30. The fish catch of the day meal was disappointing, I mean looks at the photo - we were only given 3 Canarian potatoes, 3 potatoes is some kind of cruel joke. Plain vegetables on the side too. The fish was a big portion, but was a bit dry. Overall this was the worst meal and experience of our trip here, there is much better restaurants with much cheaper prices. The main waiter / manager also was initially quite rude when I raised a complaint and caused a scene at the table, later he did comp the starter and removed the cost and later apologiesed, which I appreciate. But for me the overall experience was a 1/5.

The food was absolutely delicious, my partner had the fish of the day and my friend enjoyed steak which he was extremely pleased with! Although there's only 1 vegan option on the menu, the wok noodles were super smokey and tasty - also a very generous portion! They couldn't resist the desserts which also didn't disappoint - the lemon mousse was a beautiful touch! The servers were friendly and cracked jokes with us in Spanish. The only thing was the acoustics in the room we were in, it was hard to hear each other talk as the table behind us, who also seemed to be having a blast, echoed across to us. Overall, a genuinely fun and tasty night!
