While on holiday in Fuerteventuta my elderly Mother ran out of one of her eye medications. Not knowing if the specific item could be purchased over the counter, I visited our closest Chemist which was the Farmacia Faro, Morro Jable. This store was exceptionally clean and the staff were incredibly helpful. Despite the language barrier, we managed to quickly understand each other and establish that new eye drops would be required. These were ordered and I was advised that they would be available on Saturday (next day). Unfortunately, when I arrived on Saturday morning to collect the drops I was told that they had not been delivered. This was clearly not the fault of the Pharmacy or it’s Staff but down to their supplier who had let them down. The same Pharmacy colleague was on hand to let us know what had happened and she was genuinely upset that we had been let down. We were quick to make it clear that these things can happen and that we did not hold Lucia personally responsible. The eye drops, we were assured, would now be available on Monday. It was Lucia’s actions then that completely changed the situation. Lucia took our hotel details and promised to deliver the drops as soon as they were at the Pharmacy. True to her word, Lucia came to our hotel on Monday morning with the eye drops! What made it more exceptional was that it became obvious to us that Lucia was there on her day off. These days it is incredibly rare to see or experience such dedication, personal accountability or desire to deliver such excellent customer service. Lucia managed to do all of that and more, her actions served to restore a little of my faith in humanity. Thank you Lucia and Farmacia Faro for going above as well as beyond to ensure that we were happy, satisfied customers ❤️

Probably the most beautiful beach in Fuerteventura, maybe even in the whole Canary Islands. The drive there is long (about an hour on a dirt and gravel road), but totally worth it for the breathtaking scenery. Huge waves, endless golden sand, and a wild, untouched atmosphere. No facilities, so bring food, water, and sun protection. A must-visit if you like nature and don’t mind a bit of adventure. There is also old graveyard which you can enter. I arrived here on a trip from an agency. The road is quite difficult but it's worth it when you get to see the landscape. A very large, wild beach, I understand that it's dangerous to swim there. The view takes your breath away. It's absolutely wonderful. I recommend it!

A breathtaking beach stretching for kilometres, surrounded by majestic mountains that look as if they’re flowing downwards. There are places where no photo can truly capture how incredible it is, and this is one of those places — you simply have to be there.

Beautiful place and the road is not as bad as described! As long as you drive 20-30km per hour you should have no problems. There is only one part for approx. 1km that’s a bit more narrow but nothing to be afraid of, just go slowly and you’ll be fine 😉 any car will manage.

The most beautiful beach in Feurteventura! The beach is hard to access and you have to drive along a very bumpy and skinny dirt road but it’s so worth it. There aren’t many amenities once you arrive so pack a lunch and enjoy an incredible time in paradise!

Any Balkan road, even highways, is far worse than this one 😂 you may reach it with small fiat 500 if you want to just don't push it when it becomes (occasionally) bumpy. The scenery is astonishing even though there are no swimming conditions, you may see dead corals on the beach, washed up skeletons and so. Besides the towel or beach chair please bring any trash bag and pick up just any piece of plastic that is washed ashore, just as little as you can, to thank the beach.

Playa de Soravento de Jandia is one of most beautifull beaches on Fuerteventura. The moment you arrive and see the beach from above is breadthtakimg. Water is shallow, good for famil with kids. Kitesurfers are flying around which is looking georgeous. The small pools inside are bit messy so i don’t recommend swimming there. We had lovely time visiting this beauty

A beautiful golden sand beach in the vicinity of major hotels in Costa Calma. There is a plenty of free car park available. The water is clean and not deep, which makes it a perfect spot for families. There are water sports, and we enjoyed kite flying. Be mindful and respectful of the nudists soaking up the sunshine 🌞 A great place to spend 2-3 hours.

Very beautiful beach, although it's nearly impossible to relax there in the summer—the wind is so strong it blows sand all over your body, sometimes even painfully. Still, it's worth visiting for the stunning views and great photo opportunities.

Absolutely stunning beach! The water is crystal clear and the views are incredible. Perfect place for a long walk or just to relax and enjoy the sunshine. There’s no infrastructure around, so make sure to bring some food and drinks with you. Definitely one of the most beautiful beaches on Fuerteventura!

We bought a 10 day stay for 4 people, convinced we will have 2 seperate bedrooms yet we had 1. It was our mistake which we wanted to fix by paying extra for an apartment with 2 bedrooms and the "lovely" manager in the reception told us it's our fault and she will not help us. I understand that hotel maybe was full but a lot of people came and went and I bet they had an empty apartment we could've used- maybe not for a full stay but at least for a few days. An adult and a child had to sleep on an L shaped couch which doesn't even open for a sofa bed. If you're an English speaking person please avoid this hotel at all cost; by entering this hotel you will end up being in Germany. Staff only speaks German and Spanish, no English in sight. Oh, and the lounges on the beach do not belong to the hotel; you will end up paying 15euros per lounge. The beach is non existent because it was taken by the lounges and the volleyball court (made for the German tourists). Of course no one mentioned it to me in the reception, because English speaking folks are not welcome. The food has been ok apart from meat being undercooked/raw in the restaurant pretty much every night of the dining for 10 days. The only staff worth mentioning were the animation girls in the kids club who made my daughter's stay so great. They put so much effort into their work. I also want to say thanks to Martina, the waitress at the pool bar, who was super welcome and warm and always spoke to us whenever she had a chance❤️❤️

Terrible experience – the staff doesn’t speak English at all. Even ordering a simple drink is a struggle. They can’t say basic things like “hello” or “goodbye” in English. Everything is in German. You come to Spain for vacation, but it feels like you’re in Germany – you barely hear any Spanish. All the animations are in German, the restaurant menu is in German, and the entire hotel is clearly targeted at German guests. Room cleaning is inconsistent – sometimes they clean, sometimes they don’t. Food is okay but very repetitive, same dishes every day. Juice used in drinks is terrible. The staff doesn’t understand the language, so how can they be genuinely polite? The beach is small, and it’s basically just German tourists playing volleyball. Sunbeds on the beach are not included – you have to pay extra. There’s no water provided in the room – even with all inclusive, you have to go buy water at the store. That’s just absurd. On the positive side, the rooms are large and spacious.

The resort being located next to the beach was a real positive. Unfortunately, not much else positive to report. Aside from one or two staff, the rest seemed uninterested in trying to assist us. Although there were vegetarian options in the all inclusive package, all the vegetarian food was being handled and mixed with non-veg food. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, I was simply told they can’t do anything about it. All entertainment and activities are catered mainly to German tourists. Although we understand catering to the majority of the visitors, we got the impression throughout our stay that we were not exactly welcome. When we asked the reception for advice on where to get tourist information, we were told we should have sorted it all out before visiting and it was not their duty to help.

The hotel is very nice, and the food is also decent, but it gets quite repetitive – practically the same thing every day, which becomes quite tiring during a minimum 7-day stay. Another issue is that the hotel is obsessively geared toward German tourists. Everyone speaks to you in German, and everything is written in German, which I think is very unfair to guests from other countries. You speak to a shop assistant – a Spanish woman – in English or Spanish, and she replies like a robot in German. That’s a bit crazy. Stop kissing up to German tourists so much… The food is clearly tailored to Germans, who, as everyone knows, aren’t particularly demanding. Rooms, cleanliness, and views are definitely a plus. A downside is that you can’t use the pool in the evening – it’s closed by 4 or 6 PM. Karaoke and all entertainment activities for kids and adults are conducted exclusively in German. The animators are German. You don’t seem to consider that visitors also come from countries like England, Poland, the Czech Republic, or elsewhere. The obsession with the German language and German guests is a big NEGATIVE.

Positives: clean, well maintained hotel, clean pools, clean rooms and good location. Most of the staff is helpfull and friendly. Some of the meals in the restaurant is really tasty. Negatives: You will feel like in Germany. All signs, animations, menu, everything is in deutch only. Most of the staff speaks deutsch only. If you are not German speaking, you will not enjoy any of hotel attractions, everything is in deutch only here. Very strange rules, where you need to pay deposit for almost everything, towels, tennis equipment etc. These attractions you will need to pay a fee for too. Some of the meals were really awful. It is true, that everyday leftovers from the day before are served. As far as I am happy with zero waste approx for some of the food, serving salads, vegetable and meat is far too much, but serving seafood from the day before is way to much! Be carefully what you put on your plate in the restaurant!. Some of staff is really rude. In example mid age lady making eggs in the morning screaming in deutch as she doesn't understand English. All inclusive is not all inclusive and is really poor. Basically it is breakfast, lunch, dinner wine beer and some drinks. That's it. No snacks in between, unless you count white bread sandwiches, which are not eatable. Unless you are a German and you accept all above, wanting to feel like you are still in Germany, I strongly recommend you to find another place for your holidays.

Sotavento Beach Club is nicely located with nice architecture. good for families with kids. if you‘re traveling as a couple/ friends I wouldn’t recommend as there are lots of children and not many moments in "peace". To have some quiet time and distance, you most likely have to rent a car, so you can make the most out of your stay and escape the noise to explore the island. Also an extra to mention as we‘re not from germany, the hotel itself is very „german“ even the staff talks german to you. Sadly that influences the vacation feeling very negatively.

The beach is great especially for a little one with all the waves, just looknfor cleqr water place of watch out for rocks, have not stayed in hotel so no comment on that.

Absolutely stunning place , we were staying at the other side of the island so only been able to see sunrise from our beaches so we decided to tak a little trip to playa del viejo reyes and it didn't disappoint. Views absolutely stunning , small car park at the top of the cliff many people just watch the sunset from there you could take a stairs and go a bitt lower and watch from these or just go down to the beach so couple of options there.

Playa del Viejo Reyes Beach was very easy to reach by car, with a good road leading right to it. After parking, it’s just a 15-minute walk to the beach. The waves are huge, making it excellent for surfing. A great spot for wave enthusiasts!

Perfect place for Portugal style beach lovers))

British Zoos and Wildlife Parks could learn a lot from this place. It was as expensive as Chester Zoo but a million times better. We managed to spend from 9.30am until 3pm without once having a child that says they want to go home. The park is massive and has lots of shaded sections making it easier to get around. It was not packed either, probabbly due to the size and layout. It was 25 degrees when we went, one 1.5l bottle of water wasn't enough and it is €1.6 for a small bottle of water. Some of the enclosures didn't look the best but the animals seemed happy and healthy. I don't think there was one animal we didn't see, unlike Yorkshire Wildlife park where you're lucky to see more than 4 or 5. The sea lion live was brilliant. We didn't see any of the other live shows but I am sure they would have been just as good. Getting to see nile crocodiles was amazing, been to a lot of zoos worldwide and never seen them. Seeing them from underneath in the reptile cave was good also. Splash part for kids is a brilliant idea, helping them cool down. Big park with all sorts going on also. Restaurants were expensive and the food quality was poor. The salad was fresh, nice, but the chicken was dry and chewy. Given the size of the park it would have been nice to see maybe an insect area, showing native insects maybe.

Oasis Wildlife Fuerteventura was one of the absolute highlights of our trip — what an amazing day out! I highly recommend a visit; it’s a magical place that all ages will enjoy. They offer mobility scooters if needed and adorable little karts for young kids whose legs might get tired (both available at an extra cost). It’s wonderful to see the animals living in such a natural and spacious environment. The zebras are stunning, and the ostriches are much bigger than I ever imagined! There’s a fantastic viewing point where you can feed the giraffes — they’re cheeky characters! One even tried to sneak up on me and nearly stole my sunglasses 😅. The walkways are beautifully kept, with wooden bridges that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a jungle. I’ve never seen so many alligators basking in the sun, and we were lucky enough to catch the sea lion show — absolutely captivating! From monkeys to flamingos and everything in between, the variety of animals is incredible. Definitely plan to arrive early because you’ll want the entire day to explore this amazing park. An unforgettable experience that’s well worth every minute!

My husband and I really enjoyed our day out here. There was plenty to see, added experiences of being able to feed the camels and giraffes. The seal lion show was amazing, the animals are well looked after and this shows in how they react with their handlers. Definitely worth the price, we spent over 5 hours exploring the zoo. Would definitely recommend. Was definitely our best part of visiting the island.

A beautiful park with a wide variety of animals and stunning plant life. Surrounded by lush vegetation, the zoo is seamlessly integrated into the natural environment. It's a wonderful combination of botanical diversity and wildlife. While animal parks can always be subject to criticism, this one clearly makes a strong effort to provide habitats that resemble the animals' natural surroundings. The park is quite large, and although the entrance fee may seem very high at first, I found it to be well worth it – there's so much to see and explore. There's also the option to enjoy good-quality food within the park, but just centrally located restaurant. The small shops in the park do mostly have just sweet snacks.

Fantastic day out for the family. The animals are really well kept with large enclosures. Unlike zoos in the UK the experience is far more up close and personal, you are able to touch the giraffes, feed the camels and get up close to the elephants. The sea-lion show is a must. We ate in the park and again unlike UK parks the prices were reasonable. We paid under €25 for paella, chips and chicken nuggets and 3 drinks. We hired a cart to pull our young child but don’t bother it’s harder work pulling them up the steep paths than carrying them. Great day out thoroughly enjoyable.

Great day out, for a 38 year old and two in there 60's there was plenty to keep us there all day. If you have kids there's even more to do. Friendly staff, plenty of places to eat at reasonable prices and lots of toilets dotted about. Animals were all in good condition and lots to see. It's spread over a big area so expect to walk some. We went to both the sealion and bird shows which were great and put out in Spanish, English and German which is a great plus for the varied visitors. In all a great day out (7 hours for us) so good value too. Well worth a visit if you are on the island.

We booked the safari park through TUI and were given details for booking tickets for the Oasis bus service which made this much easier for us. The park was good, although we felt a few enclosures were a little small for the animals. The botanic garden was very interesting and we enjoyed feeding the Lamas, Giraffes and Camels!

Big black sandy beach. With a long promenade to go for walks. Lots of locals, a few restaurants and bars on the promenade, friendly and not at all commercial. If you are after a peaceful holiday, this is the place for you. You can catch the sun rise, if you are up early enough. A lot of walls have cool murales, some are unfortunately fading. There's a clown festival in October, called Tran Tran, which brings in a lot tourists.

This town is mostly is mostly populated by locals which makes it a great location if you want to feel more of the authentic Canary Islands. Bars and restaurants close to the beach, and there's a small port as well. Just outside town there's a small industrial park with a few warehouses and businesses. Sand is not as yellow/white as you may be used with other beaches on the island.

Large, sandy and uncrowded beach. Not loads of facilities but great for sunbathing, paddling and generally chilling out. Lots of really good sea front eateries!

Pretty little town. Very clean.not commercialised. Front line restaurants and cafes facing the sea, inexpensive. No high line hotels.a small port with yachts and small fishing boats. Plenty of seating areas. Quite a few small but up-market shops that were inexpensive. Very peaceful.

This is a very nice black sand beach, it is a safe, quiet, peaceful place to relax. Surrounded by friendly local people and have very smile.

This place is so interesting and cool. Didi told us everything about the Aloe Vera plants. We had so much fun and learned new things about the effects and benefits of the Aloe Vera. Thank you so much!

We couldn’t buy anything as we have limited baggage allowance. The guy there gave us a lovely demonstration and did not pressure us to buy anything. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. He told us that this is their family business and I wish them every success. Learnt more about Aloe because of him! Would recommend

This was one of the best days of my life! You really should visit that place. The owner is so kind and welcoming. She lets you take your time, you can stroll through the shop, look and read - she does not force herself on you and does not try to sell you stuff you don’t need. When asked she explained to us some of the cremes, there benefits but also interesting insights about the Aloe Vera plant and the island Fuerteventura. We could have a look at the plants and all of a sudden she gave me a plant for free. I was and still am so overwhelmed by this generous gesture - even more since she explained that a plant needs 5 years of growing until it can be used for production. I named the plant Vera and will make sure she will make it home safely. If you go there pls don’t expect her to gift you something. In any case it is worth visiting - also because she explains to you how to distinguish good Aloe Vera products from cheap fakes. I’m still so happy. P.s. my Wife wrote this I took the photos and drove there :)

We just visited the aloe farm. Didi explained all the details about how aloe is grown, quality criteria of aloe vera products and how to mix your own cosmetic products with aloe gel. Didi is super friendly and welcoming. We bought a couple of aloe products as we particularly enjoyed Didis explanations and are convinced that this farms products are really high quality. I would recommend to rather buy directly from the farm instead of any other general stores on the island. We definitely learned a lot new things about the aloe vera plant. Thanks Didi 🙏🙏🙏

Great place to explore Aloe Vera products and see how the plants are grown. The staff are really kind, let you try several products, and give helpful recommendations.

LVery good place. We arrived there without having an appointment. We were welcomed by one of their staff who was very kind and helpful. His English was very good and he gave us a private tour of the garden and factory. He explained everything about the aloe Vera and its qualities. Also he cut one open and gave us a sample of its gel and explained the structure of the plant. We also got a sample of the aloe Vera juice and endud up buying a few of their products. Highly recommended and definitely worth the visit!

The view is worth all my fear while driving up. Road is very narrow. Is few car bays where you can passing other car. On google you can see is open from 10 o'clock. I've been there after 10 o'clock and was still close so I'm not sure if you can enter inside the faro.

I loved it. Great views, atmosphere, nice and scenic ride to the top. Had a sadwiched and just enjoyed the scenary. Btw. there is no WC, restaurant or anything up there, so keep it in mind.

Great view, worth visiting. The road to the lighthouse is very narrow, no borders, if you re afraid of heights be prepared to drive slowly. But the view is worth it. A big museum of African masks, sculptures inside the lighthouse, looks very impressive and surrealistic! Was surprised that such great collection and free entrance. Would galdy buy some miniatures for good memories, but nothing there.

Fantastical view, it's worth the vist. It's easy to reach, by car, or a 20 minute hike ( if you leave your car down ). Don't get intimidated by the other comments, the road is wide enough for two cars, and also the traffic is not big, just drive slowly. There isn't much to do, enjoy the view and make some photos.

Very nice place, we visited in October around 6 p.m. and there was wonderful atmosphere, very nice sunset. Interesting place. There is a small beach with black sand.

Touristic place but the caves are really impressive and the beach is quite unique on the island. The path to the cave is very well signposted and well organized for everyone to visit. You can visit the main very profound cave but if you can you can cross some rocks and visit many more areas which makes the visit quite adventourous. Come with good shoes even because in the innest part of the cave you can find some water and it can be slippering mostly because is quite dark. At the end of the visit I would recommend to swim on the beach where the right side of the beach is more protected by the rocks even if the ocean can be very rough. After the swim a nice coffee or meal at the close restaurant could close a wonderful visit.

An impressive area with lots of caves. Also seeing the power of the sea is stunning. But know that seeing the caves is tricky, you have to have good footwear and good balance because the path to the caves starts on a nice laid path, but becomes more and more challenging along the way.

Fantastic little village, dramatic clifs with dark sand and clear water, windy most of the time we been there, restaurant close and public parking free of charge but get busy so be there early, public toilets,small little white house gives u a little bit off Santorini on small secluded beaches 😎🚀

The Ajuy Caves are absolutely beautiful. It’s definitely worth the walk along the cliffs – the views are stunning and the caves themselves are really impressive. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the start of the trail on the beach.

This is a lovely day out. It's a nice walk to the caves with a good few steps. Not for some people. But there is a nice little stony beach to relax on. There is also some lovely restaurants to enjoy. The fish is amazing. Well worth a visit and stop for lunch

Very interesting and worth visiting! Short hike will bring you to two black caves. The hike was easy, but there were a lot of people walking without proper sport shoes, so they were very slow and it was quite annoying because they caused little "traffic jams". Bring some flash light, which will allow you to go deep to these caves

Not much to do up there but the views are fantastic and great photo opportunities are available!

Amazing view. Well made statues, nice and big. Holding the statues' private parts while having your picture taken seemed quite a popular thing to do.

Made the trip to the status from Corralejo...about 40 min drive....lovely scenery on route. Stopped off for a quick photo opportunity of Tindaya Mountain....great view. The status area itself has parking on bother sides of road. Great view and photo opportunities of surrounding areas...as you are on one of the highest points on the island! ...and I have to mention the numerous and friendly squirrels! Take a short stroll on the various trails in the area....and the curious nature of these little creatures will bring them right up to your feet! .... Once you're finished with photos etc....you can continue your drive down to the little picturesque village of Betancuria...and park up and stop for a quick coffee or snacks in a cafe.

Nice view from the place. It’s possible to park at the two places if it’s not space close to the statues. You can take a walk around as well.

I wasn't expecting much but actually really loved this place. The rocks are nice and interesting to explore. The sea is beautiful with these little pools with beautiful clear water. Cold in May but was okay for short swim. We saw many crabs which is the reason why I wanted to go in the first place. don't miss this, go for a walk to the right

Aguas Verdes is wild and beautiful — absolutely worth the trip. There’s enough parking, but the last few kilometers are off-road (still fine with a regular car if careful). No cafes, no mobile coverage, no services — so download offline maps and bring water. What you get in return is stunning: dramatic volcanic rock formations, crashing Atlantic waves, tide pools, and sea crabs. Raw, quiet, and powerful — a perfect spot for nature lovers who don’t mind a bit of rugged access.

Reality is pretty diff. If you don't get good wheater you can't swim there. Also one hint if u want to swim there u must bring your swimshoes for yourself

Amazing place! You can see fish and sea urchins if you have a snorkeling mask. Also, check the tide before going there, go if there is a low tide, there are more natural pool to swim in and more fish, also fresh water

Place between rock with multiple besutifull natural pools where you can swim. Crabs are chilling on the rocks and trying to catch sun :)

It's an interesting spot where natural pools are carved by the waves in the rocky shore. There are some good views to be seen and you can observe how salt crystals form after the seawater evaporates. You can also spot a lot of crustaceans. Keep in mind that the beach is rather small and dangerous (slippery rocks, steep incline, currents) so you should choose another place if you want to go for a swim.

Super interesting and a really cheap price. We spent about 2 hours here. All of the people that worked there are really kind and helpful. We bought a glass jar witg fresh salt and a large bag of salt to bring home at a really low price. Very happy and will definitely come back when we holiday on Fuerteventura.

It's worth visiting them and buying some salt for home, to try. They actually make it on site. Support them rather than buying anything else in a souvenir shop. Very pleasant place, they've made the most of it. Bonus points for the chipmunks.

As for things to do in Calle de Fuste... There really isn't much. Of course this is a relaxing tourist town which caters specifically for that. But if there is something that you want to see and experience... The Salt Museum should rate highly on your to-do list. Not only is the gift shop actually very good, with some high quality presents for the family friends you actually like back home. But the actual museum is really interesting and informative. Who knew there was so much you could learn about salt. Then you can actually see the salt farming process working. While it's not manned all the time, it's a very passive process. We were lucky to see a man using the farming technique. If I had to describe it, basically a man sweeps the top layer of salt off the sea water pond and pulls the salt aside to dry out on the rock. In the modern era it seems very unimportant, but in the times the farm was created in, it was extremely important. And it is interesting to see and find out how important salt actually was, and still is. Though the methods have improved and this farm has become almost obsolete as a commercial enterprise. The actual farm has a clever engineering process to it. The water is caught from sea spray, then funneled into tanks. Then siphoned into small ponds for dehydration and extraction. Of course it is far more impressive than I've described and Wifey and Hubby would recommend the visit. The only real downside is that it is outside of the town. Which means a long walk, but if you do decide to go, we recommend hiring a bike or scooter or go by car. Also the Barbary ground squirrels, often mistaken as chipmunks. Are very friendly and will take food from your hands here. So if you bring some veg or nuts, your children will love feeding them. We find that cucumbers, grapes, watermelon, Kiwis and peanuts work well. But remember it's a desert so watery fruits and veg works great. There is also a small cafe that serves soft drinks and crepes and waffles. A nice little treat on a hot day toiling on the salt farm...

It's worth visiting. The museum is small but interesting. Outside you can see the process of how salt is made and next to it there's a mini beach.

Entry is 6 euros for an adult. A small museum dedicated to telling the story of salt production on the island. It takes maybe an hour to see everything at a leisurely pace. English, Spanish and German video. Gift shop selling small samples of the salt produced on the site for €2.75. A cafe.

Lovely visit, very interesting. Friendly staff. Nice little shop. Walked there from Caleta De Fuste which took around an hour along the coast track. Returned by bus which was super easy and cheap.

Really interesting place to while away a couple of hours. We visited before getting our flight home, as it is only a short drive from the airport.

It's a nice today shopping centre which has a large spa supermarket in it together with some smaller shops selling clothes, shoes, phone accessories and souvenirs etc. Also a lovely Indian restaurant and a few bars together with a games lounge which has amusement games and ten pin bowling. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

A nice place to visit in Caleta de Fuste. Food Hall downstairs serving a few different varieties to cater to most tastes. Lots of parking space outside. Lots of shops to appeal to everyone. A great little supermarket with a café inside. Bus route directly outside so no need to walk far....practically dropped me off at my hotel. Taxi rank outside also. Got myself a few little bargains to take back home as sales were on.

A small but perfectly designed little shopping centre. Everything you need is here. Lots of shops, A play centre for young children and some great little cafes too!

Wheel chair accessible all floors, car park large enough. Supermarket staff are very caring. Shops are good for tourists. Hairdressers are very good. Indian restaurant always busy. Their staff speak good English. Love the place especially if it is cloudy outside.

A very clean and new looking shopping mall, 10min walk along the sea front from our hotel. The Spar was our favourite, some really good prices and a nice little cafe inside. A few local cafes at the back of the shopping mall with some very tasty food. Around the back of the shopping centre is an old castle like building with a little pool teaming with fish, take some bread and you will love feeding them and the wood pidgeons. Not every day you pass two camels on your way to the shops.

Kids liked the play park and amusement rides outside the center. Some nice shops inside too

Beautiful sandy beach, extremely clean water, and the water is smooth, not too wavy. Peaceful place. Also, the public toilet is spotless.

Shallow waters near the man-made sandy beach is perfect for a swim. The sunbeds can be rented for around €10.50 for 2 for the whole day. I’ve seen plenty of people just bringing their own blanket and relaxing in the sand. There are free public toilets nearby that are kept clean and also a small bar that sells various drinks and snacks. The beach is quite a long stretch. Quiet enough in May going into the first week of June. Plenty of beds and spaces all around. Lots of restaurants too close by we brought our own food and drinks to have a beach day was perfect. No lounger needed

This beach is truly captivating – a wide stretch of fine, light-colored sand invites barefoot walks along the shore. The water is crystal clear, as transparent as glass, and usually remains calm, with gentle waves that make it perfect for swimming or simply relaxing in the sea. There’s a peaceful, almost secluded atmosphere here, ideal for anyone seeking a break from the crowds. What’s more, the facilities are maintained to a very high standard – the public restroom is spotless, which significantly adds to the comfort of the visit.

Nice beach with plenty of sunbeds and amazing sun coverage, the sea itself is nice and cool which is ideal when you’ve been lounging in the sun. Only big issue is that there isn’t many places to eat near by so ensure you have food with you!

10,50€ for 2 sunbeds with umbrella. The beaches in the south are all much better quality wise but it's the best beach in the north/middle Eastern part of the island

Lovely beach with sandy shore and crystal clear lagoons. It is about 15 mins walking from the bus stop. There are toilets and showers near the life guard. We prepared drink and food for the day because restaurans and shops are not near. Naturists and bikini sunbathers next to each other with no problem.

Beautiful beach , close to the town also some good places to eat in the area. Good for families with children because of the rocks that are bloking the waves ! Nice in the sunset!

Been a few times to this beach and it lovely and clean. Our 3 yr old grandson loved playing on the sand and in the water. It is a nudist beach as well 😎 we also went in the evening to watch sunset which I'd stunning highly recommend this. El Cotillo is a beautiful place to visit.

Love El Cotillo, there are turquoise, clear lagoons protected from the big waves on one side of town. The big, wild beach at the other side of town is good fun for waves. The town itself has gorgeous little shops and restaurants. Being on the west coast of the island too means that it’s a great spot for sunsets.

Amazing beach. White sands which makes also the water look turquoise, small lagunas with calm waters and then big waves further if you wish to have some fun. Not busy usually, restaurants few hundred metres away, car park close by. This place is great for relaxing and enjoying the view.

A beautiful tranquil beach with turquoise waters and white sand on the north west of the island. It is clearly a trendy area, normally frequented by cool surfer types, I say normally because like all areas at the moment due to the Covid restrictions are very quiet. But anyway if you are staying nearby or perhaps drive up to the North to visit the volcano then this is a great stop over. We spent a couple of hours chilling on the beach in the hot sun, yes it was a bit breezy but thanks to the stone built wind breakers, once you lie down on your towel, you hardly notice the wind at all. There was free parking directly on the beach and a lot of little restaurants and shops nearby. Highly recommended when you visit Fuerteventura

A stunning, expansive beach with almost white, powdery sand. The water is icy cold but crystal clear. The surrounding dunes add a unique and beautiful touch to the scenery. There’s plenty of roadside parking since the beach stretches out over a large area. For me, it’s the most beautiful beach on the island – an absolute must-visit while in Fuerteventura.

Huge beach, fantastic dunes, something beautiful. Similar to the dunes in the Polish Słowiński National Park, but much larger. And the water is much cleaner and nicer.

It’s absolutely stunning here, you will not regret your visit! Climbing the huge dunes to see the crystal clear ocean on the other side and Lobos Island was incredible. Not overly busy as the beach is massive so you won’t feel crowded. We saw a rainbow cloud whilst there which was magnificent, I didn’t even know these existed until I saw it. 100% recommend the visit.

Nice waterpark. We've visited with our kids today, 104e for family of 4 is good price in my opinion, weather was average as wind was mad, little sun but apart from that good spot. Many slides and pools for various people. Staff was kind. Make sure you bring warm clothing just in case. Thank you guys.

Really lovely place and wasn't packed when we went which is always a plus. Their "fast track" is basically hiring out floating. You can either hire out yellow ones and not wait or wait for people to be done with the blue ones on that particular ride. Fun slides and not a mental wave pool. Only one slide (red and black) was able to be used with a double ring. All the others were with no ring at all. And no slides are for like a family to go down, which was disappointing. Also the lazy river really needs more of a current. The amount of times we got stuck still and had to use the walls to push off. Ended up getting out and pushing my son in the ring. It was a lazy river but not lazy for yourself. More of a work out by the end of it lol. Overall probably wouldn't go back but did have a really good time

Really enjoyed our trip to Acua Water Park. It's not too expensive (€104 for 2 adults and 2 kids) and we had a great time on all of the slides. Plenty of sun beds available and we got a spot in front of the main slides which worked out well. The kids absolutely loved jumping off the ledges into the 4 metre deep pool - it might have been their favourite thing to do. The lazy river lived up to its name and was very slow. You can to keep paddling or pushing yourself to move. The food was good and reasonably priced. And queues for the rides weren't bad at all. There is an option to rent your own tube for €6, but we didn't and never had to wait long for one. One good thing to note is that the slides all close at 5. We weren't aware of that and would have tried to go on a few more times.

Although the price is somewhat high, it is a great family day out. The facilities are clean. Lifeguards are everywhere keeping the place save and keep everything moving smooth. Food is ok. I would suggest to bring plenty of snacks and drinks.

We had a fun day at Acua Park. Lots of different slides to try. All felt safe and well marshalled. Favourites were the Rapid River which I found mildly terrifying. The waits weren't long and we didn't wait too long to pick up blue rings which are used and handed over after various rides. To avoid any wait you can hire the yellow rings you keep and return. Lockers were available for 6Euros, which we took. There was something for all ages and plenty to challenge the cowards among us.

The water park was a great time, little to no wait to get on any of the slides. The wave pool every hour was awesome but could get busy depending on what hour you go. The lazy spa needs so work, it basically doesn't work 😅 but all the other "rides" make up for that! Deffo worth a trip if you are close or the day trip if you are travelling further!

We had an amazing time at ACUA Water Park, slides are fun and ques are short if any. Highly recommend. We purchased the second day at 19 euros as kids loved it.

Took a return ticket with Naviera Nortour company 15th March 2025 (€17 return, left on the 11.15 and returned on the 16:00). Island itself is strangely alluring. Unfortunately I found it pretty busy in the main two places to swim (Puertito Isla de Lobos and Playa de la Concha) - not heaving, but enough to be annoying in the key photogenic spots. I don’t know what’s happening with the authorisation that people are meant to get to visit this island, allegedly limiting the visitor numbers to max 400 per day in 2 “shifts”, morning and afternoon. No one mentioned this once when purchasing tickets or boarding the ferry. A shame because there were so many companies offering boats there, I am sure that these combinations exceed 400 people per day. I hiked around 13km (I only had Converse on, nothing more than that). The lighthouse was a nice place to break up the day, approx 1hr from either direction at an estimate - I came prepared with fresh bread, ham and cheese and had a small picnic. I had stopped by the chiringuito upon arrival, as advised to make a booking, but they had no fish and a bunch of other stuff off menu so I didn’t bother in the end and was grateful I had planned ahead just in case. There was some shade finally at the lighthouse - lacking elsewhere on the loop. Also very nice views over the island itself and out towards Lanzarote. As most reviews state - no toilets or shops, slather on the suncream as it’s sunny AND windy, hats and everything. I was worried the 4+ hours I had on the island would be too long but with the loop walk and a swim at the end it was the most perfectly timed day.

Beautiful Island with crystal blue clear water. Reminds of similar places in the caribbean. Can get crowded though during peak season. Should be a great place to snorkel. We tried it but we had more succes seeing different kinds of marine life in other places on Fuerteventura, like Morro Jable and Gran Tarajal . But because it's a cove the water is very calm and thanks the clarity there is great visibility. Be sure to stay on the paths because the island is a protected nature reserve. If you don't you may get yelled at by locals. There a multiple compagnies that offer day trips to the island, all departing from Coralejo. So take the ferry and have a relaxing day at Isla de Lobos!

Very nice island at the north of Fuertaventura We came here and anchored amd explored before the trippers arrived. There is one restaurant that is open 10.30 - 300 Mon - Fri only

Wonderful island near Corralejo, Fuerteventura. Accessible by boat with a range of competitors providing options from little speed boats through to larger craft costing around €16 for a day return trip. You can walk around the whole island on a circular route in 2-2.5 hours which we found well worth it to sample the fascinating range of landscapes on the island. The volcano Montana La Caldera to the west of the island is well worth the climb although it can be busy with tourists. There is a nice beach (Playa de la Concha) 10-15 minutes from the port. We went there to relax after our long walk until our return boat. There are no real facilities on the island so make sure you bring food and drink. There is also limited opportunities for shade. Very nice place to visit though and highly recommended.

Stunning island with amazing scenery and a really nice walk. You do have book in advance to get the boat to the island as I believe there is a daily capacity on how many visitors the island can have. Be sure to take comfortable footwear and plenty of water and snacks. Make sure to use the bins located around the walking path for any trash :)

Wandered down the promenade soon after we arrived in the resort and came across the small shopping centre next to the Rubicon Marina. The area, leading, to and around the Marina is lovely. Plenty to see and do. We stopped at Lani's Snack Bar for something to eat. Service and food were excellent. Plan to revisit the area on Wednesday or Saturday to see the Market.

A short 20min walk from.our hotel along the coastal path (Castillo Tagoro) just before sunset, you get an amazing view of the harbour and town (see photo).Some lovely places to eat out or drink or just walk around admiring the view and design of this lovely town. There are a few boutique stores for clothing and souvenirs.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Centro Commercial Rubicon, and I must say, it left a lasting impression on me. More like not shop and run. I don't like making negative reviews but in this case I have too. OK we visited this place about 4pm on Monday so not the best time. I would say about half the shops are not occupied. There was only a supermarket, perfume shop, somewhere for your nails and a few clothes shops. The small bowling alley was shut. We hoped to stay an hour or more but 10 minutes were enough. Disappointing 😞.

What a lovely Marina, great shops and lovely restaurants. Went end of April/May 2022 and there was a swimming pool there but due to covid / early in the season the pool area was still closed. Such a lovely atmosphere at the Marina and we went on market day which gave it even more charm. Well worth a visit. You won't be disappointed. Can't wait to go back again,loved it there.

Ok for a visit out of hotel few good shops, supermarket and chemist, right by the harbour with great views and nice places to grab a bite to eat. Also great little pools of fish to watch as you cross over the wooden bridges.

The sights and sounds are out of these world. Exciting trail, the view is diffrent at every turn. Please be aware that there are no public facilities, which means that some people use some corners as an open door toilet.

Absolutely recommend visiting this place! You can walk across the lava rocks and admire the incredible view of the ocean crashing against the cliffs — it’s pure power and beauty. There’s something so romantic and inspiring about it. Definitely worth a stop!

One of the hidden gems from Lanzarote. The sound of the waves splashing onto the rocks creates a lovely scene which is very enjoyable. Absolute worth going if you travel in the area!

Excellent stop after a Timanfayo tour. Worth the drive. Beautiful rock formations and sea action. Many viewing areas and some walking but bot too serious. Plenty of free parking. lol kp

Great caves with red volcano in the background, walk 300m to the end to see two arches

I went there to photograph the location in the evening but found it challenging to do so. It is a very interesting and unusual location. It does have safety hazards so do keep a hold of your young children if you have any. I ended up photographing inland instead i.e., the sun lighting up the mountains as it approached sunset.

Interesting orgin explained on nearby view point info graphics, but in fact nothing really very special. You will see exactly the same view from above as on hundreds of pictures on the web. Close riffs and sea waves were better 😉

Very interesting to see, I recommend visiting in the early hours. Personally, I came earlier, thus ensuring a parking space. When we left, a big crowd started to form... Next to the parking lot there is also a bar with a small shop and souvenirs, as well as toilets for an extra charge. The walk to the viewpoint is short, but a little steep, I recommend slightly more suitable footwear than flip flops.

For finding this place, enter "Charco de Los Clicos" into the Navigation. ;) Besides from that, it is easy to reach with a car, has free entrance and free parking. There is a small trail 10 Minutes to walk to the viewing point (also good for older people: my mother is 70 J. old and not good on feet). There is also a trail below directly next to Altantic Ocean where you can get closer to the Green Lake. Those who want to do hiking also can walk straight to Los Hervideros (about 1.5 h). Recommendable.

It's nature, not so sure how you can rate it by stars. Finding this place is obnoxious on my Google maps, I kept having glitches and bringing me to Green Lake Jr. For parking, just type in Siroco Coffee Shop and go there. They have a large parking lot and it is just a few minutes walk up a pathway to view the green lake. Alternatively, you can just head to El Golfo, find parking anywhere there and walk to the lake viewing area.

Highly recommend, staff all so lovely and helpful. We brought our 2 boys aged 9 and 4 they both had a great time. We were picked up right beside our private rental accommodation which was covered in the cost of the ticket. Was a truly enjoyable experience for us all. I was fairly reluctant to book as the tickets are pricey but decided to go ahead with the booking as our 9 year old is a very nature and solar system little boy. His face on the dive down was worth every cent.

Amazing experience. We had a little problem, but the staff were incredibly helpful and fixed it straight away. We saw 16 out of 24 type of fish on the in sub list, plus an Octopus and Moray Eel. Brilliant.

Undoubtedly one of the best experiences I've done. We were underwater for about 45 minutes, seen lots of fish and even a stingray! There is a prerecorded guide with 4 different languages to choose from, and even a camera of the outside. We went 30 meters deep and they even stopped to let us stretch our legs. They even give you a free certificate and a paid photo of you and anyone else with you on the outside of the submarine! Great fun.

Very expensive for a very mediocre experience. Going in a submarine underwater was a cool experience for the fact you are in a submarine which isnt common but definitely not an exciting experience. Just over half hour in the water. I couldn't recommend others to do it. Better to save money and take a boat out, saw more fish this way, was longer in duration and overall a better experience in my opinion.

What a fantastic experience, I have an autistic granddaughter, when we arrived and it was time to go on the platform to the submarine, we waited until everyone had gone on the platform, then we went and told my granddaughter to walk in the middle of the platform, she managed it very well. Upon getting to the submarine it was time to go down the hatch, the ladders are great fun, and my granddaughter absolutely loved this. When you get in you sit and put headphones on, that keep you entertained. Halfway the submarine stops and you get a chance to stretch your legs and go to see the pilot and have a photo, and she took some photos herself. You see loads of fishes and spot them from the sheet you can pick up at the shop. Don’t forget to do the colouring competition. The staff are fantastic and very helpful. A fun experience. We are so happy we did it.

An excellent experience, very well organised and is likely to be a once in a lifetime experience for most people, definitely worth visiting. The trip doesn't go far from the port, but you don't need to given all that you can see in that short distance.

I enjoyed the sub safari and it was quite interesting to actually go under water and see the fish and the shipwreak. I thought the submarine was actually more interesting though and like a kid, that was what I appreciated more than looking out into the sea. The other two people in my group also liked it, though i think they liked the fishy fishes more.

What an amazing experience.. we had four crew on the Boate, one chef one skipper and two people looking after us! The food was absolutely delightful and drinks on the tap! We didn’t actually get to do much sailing, however, we did travel an hour each way with the engine on to get to our destination! Once we got to the destination, a small briefing about what we can and can’t do and off, we went snorkelling! There was way too many fish for us to Cunt and it was fantastic to be able to swim with them all!! All in all a very pleasant experience and something that I was 100% recommend and definitely do again! Everybody on the catamaran had a great time Thank you

Literally … when you see the score- you are like ‘yeah right!’ But honestly! It made our holiday from awesome…. To freakin Amazing! Transfer from Playa Blanca was super organised! The entire staff were awesome, so helpful and you felt like that they really enjoyed their job, this shined through! We saw Dolphins and flying fish 🙌 Lunch was just perfect ( as was the bar!) Facilities and safety was key but handled with a chilled vibe! Perfect! Thank you Captain , crew & vessel was 100% a deal breaker!

The most amazing trip from start to finish. Pick up was prompt and communication via WhatsApp was reassuring. We were greeted by a vibrant and informant team member where we received our passes. After a short wait in the beautiful harbour, we then were welcomed by the crew, after a quick briefing we set sail out of the harbour. The views were stunning, during the hours trip to Papagayo beach. Once anchored, we were free to explore the water, kayak, snorkel, paddle board or slide into the sea. Food was shortly served which was delicious, and consisted of pasta, salad, wrinkled potatoes, a beautiful green garlic pesto like sauce and bread. Drinks and fruit were also served throughout the whole trip so you never went without. One of the crew members went round and personally took photos of couples/families whilst travelling. This was by far the most memorable trip we’ve ever done. We felt so relaxed! And would highly recommend to others who visit! A truly once in a lifetime experience that will be in our memories forever. Couldn’t thank you enough.

We sailed on 18 October. What a wonderful day. We were very lucky with a beautiful still morning so the sea was like a shimmering lake. The crew were fantastic from the start with attention paid to safety and our enjoyment. I had a lovely chat with Nico and did some yoga with Sandra! Second time taking this trip and it’s fantastic. Highly recommend, crew are super friendly and attentive. All the booze and food you need. The garlic sauce on the potatoes is so good. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Went on a girls' trip to Lanzarote and decided to do this excursion. Communication was excellent on booking and even on the day. Set off quickly and the entire trip was very good and smooth. Staff very helpful throughout the entire trip, especially during kayaking and paddleboarding. Drinks and food flowed freely. All in all, an amazing day.

Outstanding trip on the Catamaran cruise ! From start to finish the hosts were very attentive all the drinks we could ask for nothing was too much trouble. The lunch was beautiful so hot fresh and tasty . The garlic potatoes were so good . 😊. The water activities in Papagayo were so much fun and it was great to see all the wonderful fish . 🐟 Thank you so such an amazing day we will be returning with the rest of our family next time . Best day of our holiday to date and the best excursion we have done in Lanzarote.

The bus tour through the volcanic landscapes was both thrilling and a little bit scary, making it all the more exciting. Driving through the craggy lava fields, it felt like stepping into another world—black volcanic rock stretching as far as the eye can see, smoke gently rising from the earth, and the contrast of the bright blue sky above. As the day shifted and shadows grew, the landscape took on a mysterious, almost otherworldly beauty. After the tour, we planned to try the restaurant famous for cooking food using volcanic heat. Unfortunately, it was closed when we arrived. However, the staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help us. They checked the kitchen and graciously prepared two plates of food just for us. I am especially grateful to the gentleman who made this wonderful experience possible. Everywhere you look in Timanfaya National Park, the scenery is breathtaking—the interplay of lava, sky, and sunlight makes you feel like you’ve been transported to another planet. The combination of thrilling tours, incredible natural beauty, and warm, helpful people makes visiting Timanfaya an experience you will never forget. If you have the chance, you absolutely should go—you’ll be amazed.

Taking a bus tour around the volcano and vast volcanic fields gave me a real appreciation for the unique landscape. I was fascinated by the raw power of nature, which is on display everywhere in the park. It's a fantastic place for the whole family, with something to amaze all ages. My daughter and I arrived on a scooter and that is definitely the way to do it - the queue for cars was long but we zipped past. The coach trip was fascinating and a really unique experience but take note - if you suffer from travel sickness, it's 40 minutes of the windiest twistiest roads you've ever been on. The restaurant with food cooked over the volcano was really nice and not pricey (which we had feared) and not too busy. For 5 stars then something would need to be done about the queuing and the entry price could be more reasonable.

Amazing! Regarding queues: Friday end of November, we came at 09:00, no waiting time at all. We left closer to 12:00 and .... also almost no cars in the queue (~15-20 mins is nothing but observing a great views).. seems no needs to wake up too early in a low season. We haven't booked online as there were no slots left and seems it's not needed at all. Important: if you come early in the morning to avoid queues, be aware you won't try a lava cooked chicken (it's opens at 12). Overall time to visit the park ~ 1-1.5 hour. Absolutely must see place. Even staying in a queue this is must see in Lanzerote.

Went on a Jet2 trip. Picked up by coach collected others enroute and guide on the bus provided a wealth of information about the park. Provided with access to a limited area where you could walk and take pictures. Three course meal provided in the restaurant as the sun setting.

We visited the Islet of Hilario area of Timanfaya National Park using an organized bus tour, which we booked through an online marketplace for tour guides. This option worked perfectly - there are parts of the park between the volcanoes that are not accessible privately and can only be visited on certified tour buses. The landscape is absolutely amazing, truly otherworldly. Wr’ve never seen anything like it. The remains of the volcanic eruptions that took place just 300 years ago are still breathtakingly vivid. An absolute must-see when visiting Lanzarote.

Great experience, well organized, it was not dificult to buy the tickets in the entrance, just same time as if we had already tickets as there is a queue of cars for all in the entrance (at least in the day we were there). Tip: during the bus road sit in the opposite side of the driver, you will have the best view of the vulcanos.
