It’s a beautiful place where you can find all most all of France monuments,arts, architecture and history all in one place..! Just 1 hour drive from Paris…! Parking is 5 € for the entire day and entry fee is 27€ for adult and 22€ for kids …!

It was amazing to see all beautiful historical monuments in small size . About 140 elements. Worth to visit. It took me about 4 hours, so be prepared.

We celebrated our son's 12th birthday at France Miniature last August 31, 2025 just a day before the start of the school year and we had a lot of fun. It's perfect for families!!! We enjoyed watching the trains running around the park and the small cars moving on a makeshift motorway with a little, flashing speed camera 😂 In addition to the iconic miniature landmarks and places here in France which we were busy checking if we have gone there personally during one of our vacations in the past years, the park also has activities and rides for everyone to enjoy. We were very lucky that there were fewer people during our visit so it was quiet and not crowded. There are many areas to sit and relax as well as a picnic area so you can definitely bring your own food. And of course, don't forget to bring plenty of water. However, if you're not keen on bringing your own food there are also restaurants/kiosks inside with reasonable prices. We also saw vending machines where you can get drinks and snacks. It's definitely worth a visit!

It’s nice, kid friendly, but a little bit boring for the ones who care about details and want to live the experience from the inside, it’s nice to see everything from above, but for me i prefer the details from the inside , the thought of reliving the past or the centuries for example we went to Versailles palace and we saw it in this park, it’s nice to see how huge it is from above but the details and feeling of seeing what is inside always tops that outer view. Again it’s nice to see everything from above and to see how many touristic places there are in france, they also state where everything is in France and the sound of every monument is also nice( for the churches they have extra sound to feel it’s reality) .

Really excellent park, with magnificently constructed buildings. I spend quite a bit of time in France, and have been to many of the buildings and cities that are represented. It is really fun to see them all in miniature format!! Each is numbered, and there is a predetermined path you can follow to make sure you see everything.

Excellent experience, 5 euros for all day car park, play area for kids, indoor area too, gift shop and cafe shops. Not crowded at all. Huge area for walk. Kids under 12 go free ( online booking)

The monument stands proudly at the Place Charles de Gaulle, surrounded by a never-ending swirl of traffic, yet it somehow feels peaceful once you step onto the pedestrian walkway beneath it. You can climb to the top terrace (about 280 steps), and the view is absolutely worth it — the Eiffel Tower, La Défense, and the Champs-Élysées stretch out in perfect symmetry. What's not to love. It's an incredible landmark and more beautiful than I imagined. Make sure to take pictures not just close up but farther away as well. If you are trying to figure out where to stay, I would recommend staying near the arc instead of near the Eiffel Tower.

I visited the observatory in spring, summer, autumn and winter because the colours around the Arc de Triomphe change with each season, and they are beautiful. The view is also different by day and by night; while the Eiffel Tower offers a lovely panorama, the Champs-Élysées seen from here, especially at night, is even more striking and well worth the climb. Most people do not take the lift but climb the very narrow circular stone staircase, so those with mobility issues or the elderly should use the lift instead. Tickets must be purchased in advance for your preferred time slot on the official website. The staff at the ticket desk are very friendly, so if you need assistance, simply queue and they will be glad to help.

Well, if one is in Paris it’s hard not to visit. Queues can be long so best to get there early and be prepared to wait for a while. Tickets are not expensive. Splendid views from the top, of course, particularly on clear days. Overall well worth a visit if one is there. Fun for all the family although small children may get bored by the wait and be less than impressed.

We walked up the stairs to the second floor which was a right mission... but so worth it the views as you walk up are brilliant. Had a refreshment stop before heading to the top via the elevator. Stunning views of the city on a very clear fine day...

It's just a miracle. The best place I've ever seen. I recommend it to absolutely everyone. The spirit is breathtaking. And in the evening it's even better because it shimmers. I recommend climbing the tower, the views are beautiful.

Beautiful structure no matter which angle you take the photo from whether it's day time or night time. There's a small museum on top of the tower. Amazing views of the surrounding areas around Eiffel Tower. It's good if you take the skip the line ticket as you can go up without queueing.

Proud to have actually been there to see it. Incredible fascinating structure. Great view, if one manages to go up for a look-see. Naturally, a ticket needs to be bought as per one's time slot. There are lifts to take you up, some tiny shops to let you browse and to buy souvenirs for back home give-aways.

A wonderful collection of art from the time of the invent of the camera forward. The Orsay Museum houses some of the world's most treasured art pieces. From Monet, Gauguin, Manet, Renoior to Van Gogh and so many more. Paintings and sculptures abound in the former train station. A half-day should be the minimum amount of time spent in the great halls of the Orsay. My last visit we elected to use a self-guided audio tour and enjoyed every step. The Dance at the Moulin De La Galette by Renoir is my current favorite. Degas' multi-texture sculpture Petite danseuse de quatorze ans is another favorite. The Orsay is along the Seine near many other stops that I like to make when in the area. Stroll along the river and take in the magazine stands and vendors. Maybe a river tour starting from Pont Neuf. With a little time left in your day the Luxembourg Gardens and the Shakespeare and Co Bookstore are easy additions to your afternoon trek. While I might prefer the Louvre or the Vatican overall as a museum...the Orsay has so many great works of art it should be included on your itinerary. Definitely, something for everyone on this side of the Seine.

I absolutely loved the Musée d’Orsay in every way. I'm still processing the incredible experience— the art, its history, and the vibrant energy that fills the space. The best part was that, even during my 3–4 hour visit, it never felt overwhelming like some other large museums. I'll definitely return every time I visit Paris.

Big museum with nice art. Building used to be a train station and they converted it into a museum There are 3 floors and stairs are on both ends. There is a restaurant with an outside terrace to take nice pictures from. I'd recommend coming here if you're in the area.

I didn’t get the ticket in advance but it was very easy to get in. There was only a few people in front of me at purchase point and no wait to get in. Quite crowded inside but if you navigate yourself well you can find moments where people passed by and the spots become quiet. Insane collections. Love love love their pieces. Highly recommend coming here for the Paris visit. I would plan at least 2 hours for being in here so you dont rush around. It was wonderful!

Wow!!! Just wow!!! One of the Must See places in this beautiful city of Love and Lights!!! Paris is my favorite city in the world and this is one of the many reasons why!!! Starry Night is here!!!! Many other amazing pieces of art are houses in this amazing museum!!! Plan on a full day here and make sure to have a meal in the iconic restaurants located here🇫🇷❤️💯

Too many tourists - the impressionist section was more like a football ground. The museum controlled the entrance to the cafe better than the crowds in the impressionist section. It was impossible to enjoy the art. Not worth the entrance fee in my view.

A beautiful large museum that used to be a train station. Has multiple levels of art work from modern to post impressionism. The Starry night was one of the main attractions. There is a huge cafe on the top level, and a large outside area to see great views of Paris - can clearly see the Sacre Couer Basilique in the distance. This is a must visit in Paris.

The building itself is a piece of art and then you have all the expositions and collections. Just make sure you enjoy art and reserve the whole day for it as it has rooms on end. Particularly fun was seeing the interpretations of period specific dresses by famous design houses.

It was a short time in Paris so I can't book the ticket in advance. And the day I come to the museum close( on Tuesday). You can book the tickets 🎟 from the website. But I had a chance to visit around, it was a very big place. If you want to see all you need to take more days for it. You have to book before you come. If not, you'll have to wait a few hours to buy a ticket. It was a famous place and I guess it was a main museum in Paris. I was going down to get some relax and play some game 🎮 down there. That was a fun and great experience. I might come back to visit the Louvre museum next time. Highly recommended when you visit Paris

An unforgettable experience! It’s the biggest and one of the most visited museums in the world. The Louvre is truly a treasure trove of world history and art — from the Mona Lisa’s mysterious smile to the grand halls lined with masterpieces. Although the lines are long, it’s absolutely worth the wait. Give yourself plenty of time — you’ll want to get lost in its endless beauty!

World's biggest museum so you have to visit it when in Paris. Worth the visit because there are some world class works of art here. Mona Lisa is the most popular art piece in this museum and it will always be crowded to view it. But plenty of signs leading you to exactly where this is located. The queue was not too bad on a Thursday morning. I reserved for 10am and got in around 10:20am. You line up right outside the glass pyramid. There will be signs for the different times you reserved for. Bring a water bottle with water because the museum did not have a single water fountain. I consciously looked for them and did not find any. Or you can buy an expensive bottle of water from their cafeteria. I stayed for 4 hours and looks like prime time was around 1pm. The cafeteria was packed and people were standing to eat.

Totally worth the visit, but be prepared to walk for more than 4 hours if you want to see everything it has to offer. A lot of different cultures, time periods and artifacts. One of the best museums I’ve ever visited! Buy the tickets in advance and be there 10mins before your time slot!

The greatest museum I have ever seen in Europe. You can see so many different arts. I recommend buying tickets in advance online, otherwise there is a 1-1,5 hour waiting time to entry. Prepare to spend the entire day in the museum. You need about 6-7 hours to see all the museum. You can find coffee shops inside, or bring something to eat with you

If you're in Paris, this is a must-visit spot. It’s free to visit and offers breathtaking views of Paris from all angles, thanks to its location on the top of the Montmartre hill. Apart from being a place of worship, it's also a symbol of peace and hope. I visited at 1 pm and it was quite crowded with tourists, but I still managed to enjoy the atmosphere peacefully. It's easily accessible by metro, and be prepared for some uphill walking since it's located on a hill. Really enjoyed here.

Montmartre Church is one of the most famous places in Paris. It is located on a small hill, and after climbing a few steps, you can enjoy an amazing view of the city. Most of Paris is visible from this point, although the Eiffel Tower is partly hidden by trees and buildings. The church itself is one of the most beautiful in Paris. I was lucky to visit while prayers were taking place, creating a truly divine and peaceful atmosphere. It also has a rich history, which makes the visit even more meaningful.

It was a great experience to be there at the time of Mass. The view of the city from the church is breathtaking. The atmosphere inside the church was so calming and full with positive energy. The building is very well maintained and is very inspiring as well. What a great example of great architecture. There is no ticket/entry fee for the church. You can use cable_car service as well if you find difficulty to climb to the church. P.S: Keep your belongings with you and be careful outside area.

Visiting Sacré-Cœur was another must-do on my Paris list. I started walking from Galeries Lafayette around 2:30 PM to get there. It’s a walkable distance if you enjoy walking, and it’s a great way to explore the heart of Paris. Be ready though—the roads are quite steep! You’ll find plenty of cafés along the way, but if you’re traveling from India on a budget, be prepared—coffee here is quite expensive. Paris, and France in general, can be pricey compared to many other European countries. When you reach Sacré-Cœur, you’ll need to climb a long, steep staircase to get to the top. Once there, you can use an old-fashioned binocular to get a beautiful view of Paris. Many people sit on the wide steps to relax or take pictures, as you get a perfect view of the church’s front from there. You can go inside if you want, but most people prefer to stay outside and enjoy the scenery. You’ll often see street performers and artists entertaining the crowd, and a few vendors selling souvenirs nearby. It’s definitely a must-visit spot for anyone coming to Paris!

What a gorgeous basilica! It’s a building in Paris that we couldn’t avoid on our last evening, we took the stairs up to the top, which was quite a bit of effort after already walking up the step hilly streets in the area. But gosh was it worth it! The area was so crowded with tourists and locals alike all wanting to get a view over the city and selfies in front of the building. And you can tell why, the architecture is stunning, there is so much detail, and if you’re a movie fan then you’ll know the basilica features in John Wick.

Amazing spot with one of the best views in all of Paris! The basilica is gorgeous — the art and architecture are seriously next level, like stepping into a marble masterpiece. Absolutely stunning!!! Great for just sitting and relaxing while enjoying a snack or drink. Good also for reading, people watching, etc. Should not miss it when visiting this city. Bus stops right outside the gardens. Check out the churro spot across the street before heading to the gardens and enjoy them while taking in the serenity of the garden.

The Luxembourg Gardens in Paris are just beautiful! Such a peaceful and charming place right in the heart of the city. The flowers, fountains, and statues make it perfect for a relaxing walk or just sitting and enjoying the sunshine. You’ll see locals jogging, kids sailing boats, and people reading under the trees—it feels so alive yet calm. It’s the perfect spot to slow down, breathe, and enjoy a real Parisian moment. Simply magical!

Jardin du Luxembourg is one of the most beautiful parks I’ve ever seen. The atmosphere is peaceful, the gardens are stunning, and the entire place feels like a perfect escape in the middle of the city. I truly enjoyed every moment I spent there.

Absolutely loved this place! By far my favorite place while visiting Paris! Relaxed atmosphere, very well maintained grounds, spacious and inviting. Any opportunity we had, we came back to relax on the chairs or benches admiring the beautiful flowers, trees and people.

It's funny to rate a place like Jardin du Luxembourg, it doesn't need rating because it's absolutely beautiful but maybe I can explain what is so beautiful about it. The beautiful organisation of trees and flowers, the charming fountain in the middle, the status in every corner! Really charming.

Great park full of greenery and clean spaces — perfect for walking, jogging, or simply relaxing. There’s a designated area (marked on the map) where you can lay down a towel and enjoy a rest, have a picnic, or even take a short nap. Overall, I definitely recommend stopping by.

Notre-Dame absolutely took my breath away! The cathedral is even more beautiful in person than in pictures — the details on the outside are incredible, and the stained glass inside is just magical. You can really feel the history in every corner. What’s amazing is that it’s completely free to enter the main cathedral! You can just walk in, take your time, and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s such a peaceful, awe-inspiring place right in the middle of Paris. Even though parts are still being restored, it’s 100% worth visiting. Don’t miss it — it’s one of those spots that truly captures the spirit of Paris!

An absolute must see when visiting Paris. If you’re able to climb up the towers, I highly recommend it. We were able to get a ticket for 6 PM and made it to the top right around 7 PM in time for sunset. It is over 400 steps of a spiral staircase, but totally worth the view. As for the cathedral highly recommend booking your tickets two days in advance so you don’t have to wait in the extremely line long line. But if you do wait in the line, it does move pretty fast. The cathedral has been restored beautifully. It was such an amazing thing to see.

What a breathtaking building! It’s truly stunning, from both close up and at a distance. Whether in the day time or night-time. Although the rear is not finished with the rebuild following the fire it’s still brilliant. The detailing on the front facade is gorgeous. It’s free to enter the main cathedral but the queues are SO long that you’ll need to decide whether the time spent queuing and missing all the other amazing sites of Paris is worth it for you personally. You really have to see it in person to truly appreciate all the intricacies.

The history of this building is just breathtaking. ​We used a tour guide, which was a great decision as they brought the cathedral to life with amazing stories about its design, architecture, and its famous association with "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame." Learning about the historical artifacts that are housed inside, like the legendary Crown of Thorns, was incredible. ​Seeing it standing so resiliently after the tragic fire is a powerful reminder of its importance to Paris and the world. Even with the ongoing restoration, the spirit and grandeur of this iconic cathedral are undeniable. You simply cannot miss it.

Notre-Dame de Paris is nothing short of breathtaking. The cathedral stands as a powerful symbol of history, culture, and timeless beauty. The Gothic architecture is stunning from every angle — the intricate stone carvings, towering spires, and iconic rose windows are even more impressive in person. Walking around the cathedral, you feel the weight of centuries of craftsmanship and devotion. Despite the crowds, the atmosphere still manages to be peaceful and awe-inspiring. It’s easy to see why this place has touched so many people for so many years. The surrounding area on Île de la Cité adds to the charm, with lovely views of the Seine and plenty of quiet corners to take in the scenery. Whether you’re interested in history, architecture, or just want a moment of reflection in the heart of Paris — Notre-Dame is absolutely worth the visit.

Notre dame was absolutely beautiful and stunning on the outside. As a UK tourist, it looked so grand and magnificent in person like a historic piece of artwork where years of hardwork building and sculpting had gone into it. The wait outside wasn't too long and the queue was organised. However, I felt the inside of the cathedral needed a bit more work and improvement with some of the displays, it didn't seem to captivate me as much inside as the outside. Also the historic art virgin and child statue was moved outside suddenly on a pole and that concerned me with the weather outside causing more wear and tear. But overall it was a great attraction to visit.

Very cool seeing this beautiful cathedral. I recommend. Is quite crowded but go early in the morning perhaps or on weekdays and off season to get the most of your experience. Very neat. We didn't go in, just saw from outside as we felt that was enough, also huge cues.

It's all about wealth in a lot of these stately homes. However, the estate was handed over to be on exhibition indefinitely. Good move. The horses are well provided for in the stables. The grounds are immense and lovely to walk through. Nice patisserie outside on the way home. Train from gare du nord was quick.

Incredibly beautiful palace, absolutely worth a visit and walk through the park. We arrived quite late when the sun was already setting, which provided fantastic views, will definitely be coming back for a longer visit. There's a parking place that costs 5€, or else there are many parking places in the village

Beautiful castle only 50km from Paris. It is surrounded by water and looks amazing. The museum inside is very interesting and beautifully decorated during events. The park is not as magnificent as others but still invites for a nice walk. Definitly worth the visit! Note that your regular ticket also includes entry to the large horse stable next to the castle.

Quite simply, incredible. The vastness of the land that surrounds the Château is something else. We paid €18 P/P for entry to the Château, the garden's, and the stables. There is also a train (one of those car trains) that will drive you around the gardens for €8 and this comes with an audio tour. The grounds host some wallabies, and the driver will stop for 5 mins for a photo opportunity. The Château itself was just incredible, having been left to the French Institute by Henri D'Orleans. He was an avid art collector, and one of the conditions for leaving the property to the institute was that none of his art collection was to be removed from the walls or leave the Château at all. All the art is exactly where it was when he left it. The gardens are incredible and host a series of buildings and an exquisite pond and canal. There are 5 hamlets that sit in place (used to he 7), and you can go in there and get some Chantilly Creme made the same way it's always been made. The horse stables were incredible also. It is basically a museum now and you can catch a horse show as well in the dome of it.

Well worth the 1 hour train from Paris 2,50 euros each way. Pay extra 6 euros to see the private apartments. This inexpensive add on was sold out and we were unable to visit this part. The grounds are spectacular and the library is jaw dropping. Plan to spend at least 1/2 the day visiting and commuting to and from.

The best chateau ever ! Best art and best swans and ducks. Wish I could live there. Gorgeous lunch and nature if you take this cute walk towards the 10min walk resto that I’ve forgotten its name (not the resto at the entrance that has many serious people who booked in advance). Have a nice cafe with chantilly and chill as you think about life

One of the most spectacular French castles. Always a pleasure revisiting the grand monument, Chateau de Chantilly! Thanks to my dearest friend Laure for bringing me back to all that splendor!

Fantastic day out, bought the Gold level fast passes so walked on to most rides, wasn’t overcrowded. Little bit more of a language barrier then say at Disney but it didn’t cause us any issues. Highly recommend visiting even if you don’t know the comics as the rides are amazing!

Good theme park in northern France, 45 minutes from Paris. If you enjoy Asterix and Obelix you will enjoy this parc. Themed after them. Easy to get to, easy parking. A bit expensive tbh 20 euro at the time of writing the review. The rest of the parc is a bit on the cheaper side of the theme parc pricing. Merchandise is a bit more reasonable priced then other Parcs, also goes for food and drinks. They have some really great coasters, and also a lot of lesser thrill rides for if you have smaller children. Indeed a parc for the whole family. The "Greek" part of the parc seems a little worn down and could use a bit of a overhaul but the Icarus ride there is really great. The best parts are the Egyptian area and the village area. Recommend if you are in the area!

Great theme park. Rides are great and queues are short. Longest queue is around 45 mins on bank holiday in August. They have worked hard on the theming. So much better than Alton Towers.

Great day at Parc Asterix on Halloween 2025. The park was decorated fantastically and the staff did a great job creating scary moments (my son was terrified by the chainsaw man). The Parc feels like it's split in two, one area around the lake feels more dated and in need of refurb, whereas the area with Toutatis is much better. The Parc has a great selection of rides and coasters - Toutatis in particular is amazing and worth the admission alone. Kids enjoyed it and I'd happily return. Would recommend it over Disney for rollercoaster enthusiasts.

Parc Astérix was hands down the best theme park experience we had in Paris. It’s more affordable than Disneyland Paris and offers a wider variety of rides; especially for thrill seekers. From roller coasters to immersive themed zones, the park delivers nonstop fun without the need for a fast pass. The only real downside is accessibility. Unlike Disney, which is easily reached via public transportation, getting to Parc Astérix requires a bit more planning. It’s located outside the city in Plailly, and while there are shuttle options, they’re less frequent and not as straightforward. Food options are pretty much what you’d expect from most parks; not the best, but they get the job done. Another thing to note: their operating hours are more limited than other theme parks we’re used to. Depending on the season, the park may close earlier or be open fewer days, so it’s worth checking ahead when planning your visit. Still, once you arrive, the experience is absolutely worth it. We loved our time there and would recommend it to anyone looking for high-energy attractions and a break from the usual tourist circuit.

Lovely place, full of amazing rides with a good choose of rollercoasters for everyone. Lots of activities live people in costumes and the Coliseum where performances take place. It's like Disneyland.

Great theme park, with an attention to the theme throughout the park and each area. The staff were obviously happy at work and had fun with the visitors. It was hot the day we visited and the staff had water pistols, a great fun addition to the queue. The park was very clean and well looked after, the rides all worked all of the day. My only negative is that Toutatis was not operating all day and no one seemed to be able to tell us why. We will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely beautiful! With emersive headphones you can really imagine what life was like in the 1600s. We went in mid Sept and almost had the place to ourselves. Beautiful gardens. Highly recommend seeing this amazing chateau.

An absolute gem just outside Paris. Beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally well run. The audio tour is phenomenal, engaging, easy to follow, and full of fascinating context that brings the château and its history to life. The staff are warm, professional, and clearly care about maintaining the property’s magic. It feels like a hidden gem compared to the larger, more chaotic attractions. Take your time exploring the gardens, and don’t miss the rooftop views. They are breathtaking. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a truly enjoyable and well-managed cultural experience.

We only came to walk the gardens, so I can't speak about the inside tour. We had visited so many similar places, we assumed it wouldn't offer anything new. It's a bit expensive to just walk the gardens, but we were on vacation, so....you pay. There are many better locations that offer walking in the garden for free. Consider that before visiting here.

I you want to realize where Versailles comes from , you have to visit the chateau of Vaux le Vicomte. It took roughly 20 years to achieve this fabulous and human size castle that inspired Louis XIV to order the construction of the chateau de Versailles. Take the audio guide to enjoy the visit to its fullest. Check the hours because it is not open year round.

Nestled in the French countryside, this magestic chateau sits on a sprawling 1200 acres. Rich in history and legends. There a fantastic audio tour that is included in your 18 euros entry fee. Make sure you take advantage of it. The gardens are splendid designed and very relaxing to walk through. Golf cart rentals are available for 25 euro an hour. Don’t miss admiring the drive up to the chateau that is tree lined with gorgeous trees hundreds of years old. Absolutely beautiful.

Stunning Chateau with much less tourists visiting than Versailles. The views were stunning and my favorite part was walking the town after and eating at a local restaurant. You will need to get the audio guide to listen in English because the web app for the audio is only in french

Loved it. It is a beautiful palace with amazing gardens. Abundance of history. I love visiting historic places. Would have been nice if they offered guided tours in English, currently they only have guided tours in French. Absolutely recommend a visit. The town is also worth visiting.

Speaking of the inside, it's the most amazing place I have visited...comparing to Vienna Austria, Switzerland and Germany. Be there at 9:30am you you may get lucky like we did and have the grand ballroom all to ourselves. Don't forget to get a picture outside on the double staircase.

• Timing & Tickets: We visited in early November. On the first Sunday of November and December, entrance is free. We booked the free tickets online in advance, so we didn’t need to buy any. • Gardens: The gardens were just starting to show autumn colors. The mix of red, yellow, and orange in the trees was stunning and very peaceful. • Museum & Visit: The castle museum was great to explore and very family-friendly. • Facilities: There’s a café on site, but you can also bring your own food and have a simple picnic in the park.

It is a stunning castle, not too far from Paris and rivals the overcrowded Versailles Castle. Here we were able to visit and admire in peace the grand halls, gardens and parks of the castle. It was wonderful.

I like this way more than Versailles, very Peaceful. I didn’t go inside due to lack of time but the walk around the garden was stunning. From Paris you can take the SNCF R train from Lyon to Fountainbleu-Avon and then take bus 3401 to get here. If your ticket includes zone 5 or if you have Paris Visitor Pass then you don’t have to buy extra tickets for those rides.

Sunday, Mid-September. Not too busy. With a tour group. Extra treat that the theater was open! We actually enjoyed this palace better than Versailles. Not too many people, more varied history. I especially enjoyed the Papal apartment where Napoleon kidnapped the pope for 2 years. Not a lot of people know this story.

The experience as a family is 100% and you make infinity of core memories! The organization, the set-up and walking distance between the rides are totally walkable. Hint, have your youngest kid at a hight of 120cm to be able to let them ride almost everything (Indiana Jones is 140cm hight requiret) The app crashed so many times, that I'm more than happy to delete it after the trip! Bring your own food! And beverage!

Absolutely worth the trip! Any Marvel Avengers fan will be in love here. Super fun rides! Absolutely loved the Avengers rollercoaster ride and the Spiderman ride. The Spiderman ride was super cool because you got to sling webs at enemies just like Spiderman. Awesome merchandise store with cool Avengers merch! Huge indoor dining area with lots of food options, including vegan options! Try the vegan salad at Studio 1, it’s great! Also you can get your picture with Mickey Mouse and other characters here!! Really fun, clean, exciting, nostalgic, amazing park! Really cool animatronic Iron Man looks so realistic! Life-size Iron Man Hulkbuster suit at the Stark Factory was so cool. Really enjoyed all the Stitch & Angel merch stores. I had a great time!!! Shout out to Walt Disney, thank you, I love you! Shout out Stan Lee, thank you, I love you! ❤️🥰🙌🎉

This place is amazing. If you have kids or are a kid at heart and have time to go, do it. Take comfortable shoes because the queues are immense. However the atmosphere is superb. The only down side is the price for everything on site. But well worth going just for the evening show and the music....... Warning the music is like an earworm and becomes an obsession if not careful.

Disney Studios is a fantastic park and (normally) i would go as far to say i prefer it over the main Disney park....but.... it is having major work done, and as such this has vastly decreased the park's size. The rest of it still keeps the Disney charm though. Despite visiting at the weekend we found the queues were not as bad as expected (apart from Spiderman). Worth bringing your own snacks in otherwise you'll be waiting a while and paying a lot for it. GOOD 👍 Attention to detail, especially in the sets. Looks fantastic. Some amazing rides. BAD 👎 Half of it is shut off. The old "Backstage Tour" ride has been rebranded and shrunk and is a shadow of it's former self.

The place is nice, but tiny. The attractions are good, and I paid for a "fast pass", which is utterly expensive, but you can only use it once in every attraction, which is absolutely unfair. You pay almost triple the normal fare, so you should be able to enter as many times as you wanted, like it is in Universal parks in Florida, but no. If you want to reenter one attraction, you have to do the normal lane. Unbelievable. And, to aggravate things, several attractions were damaged or closed, which made things much worse, because you have not a lot of choices. Rest aside, the park is enjoyable for the family as ever other Disney park (I know also the ones in Florida).

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Walt Disney Studios has transformed so much in recent years! The Ratatouille ride is still a must-do, incredibly immersive and very Parisian (currently under renovation but set to reopen even better in 2026). The new Avengers Campus is a highlight — Spider-Man and Flight Force are thrilling, and the whole Marvel area is full of energy and character encounters. Pixar theming adds charm throughout the park, and with the upcoming expansions (Frozen, Lion King, new entrance hub, Pixar lands), the future looks amazing. Crowds can be heavy, but the magic and quality of the attractions keep me coming back.

Doesn't have the wow factor as the main theme park but certainly is still a great day out. Make sure you leave enough time in your trip to fully explore Walt Disney Studios, do the rides and make sure you see some shows. Nice that they are next door to each other so heading from one to the other on the same day isn't a problem. Tower of Terror is still a great ride after all these years!

Disneyland Paris is an absolute magical experience! From the moment you enter, you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairy tale. The park is beautifully themed, the rides are exciting for both kids and adults, and there’s so much to see and do. The parades and shows are spectacular, full of energy and charm. Food and merchandise options are plentiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful, making the whole visit smooth and enjoyable. It’s easy to spend a whole day exploring everything. Truly a must-visit for Disney fans and anyone looking for a fun, unforgettable experience in France!

Fantastic!! Absolutely worth the trip! Delicious food, friendly staff, awesome rides, cool attractions, beautiful park, amazing park design, fun merchandise, plenty of places to enjoy, fun for kids and adults of all ages. The restaurants had a wide variety of foods! I loved their vegan options. Incredible design of the Star Wars area was my favorite. Fun parade of costumed dancers dancing down Main Street upon arrival was great. Everything is well done here, all of the staff are top notch. The rides are super fun and make you want to re-ride them immediately. The merchandise shopping has an endless selection all over the park. Beautiful fireworks light show at night upon park closing is definitely worth waiting to see. Definitely worth staying in a walking distance hotel nearby so you aren’t stuck waiting for public transit at the end of the night!!!!!!!!! Shout out to Walt Disney, we all love you!

Both parks are equally good so it’s well worth getting tickets for both. You can comfortably allow a day for each if you have never been before. If you go for a second/third/fourth time you can probably make a long day of it and do the rides and attractions you know you want to do in a single day. The parks are not as big as the ones in Florida but not far off. As ever with a trip to Disney, you can’t expect to turn up and get a table at one of the character restaurants so book those as soon as you’re able to. And check what the situation is with fast passes online before getting there. I believe the days of getting them with your entrance tickets are gone so definitely worth checking before you arrive. Meeting the characters is great but it absolutely devours your time in the parks so decide early on if you want to get into all that. Make sure you download the app before getting there and connect to the park WiFi on arrival. It’s great for seeing the wait times for rides and where to head if you’re doing rope drop. The only thing that can let it down for me are the staff but hey, Disney did decide to build it in France. They could do with taking a leaf out of Tokyo Disney’s book.

Incredible experience everyone needs to go regardless of age and gender! Staff were amazing and so helpful, we had fast track and can’t recommend it enough. They had a gluten free buckwheat crepes, chocolate covered strawberries and a turkey leg, it wasn’t much but all tasted very good. It was a very clean park with lots to do. The firework display was fantastic and so were the parades and shows.

Major shoutouts to the rides we experienced: Phantom Manor was a beautifully dark classic, and Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain delivered that thrilling punch of speed and excitement. Everything, from the themed snacks and treats to the overall upkeep of the grounds, was top-notch. ​A truly unforgettable visit—definitely recommend going during the fall months for the special festive ambiance!

An amazing place for adults and children alike. Especially those with children should visit it. Be prepared to be patient at some of the rides, but it's worth the wait. You must see the parade in the afternoon, and the evening show after the fireworks is something you will never see anywhere else.

This is a fantastic place to visit,from the UK it’s ideal,so close by plane,just like hopping on a bus. Basically it’s a dream come true for age groups especially the really young,to see the wonderment in their eyes will stay with us forever. All the staff we met were amazing,nothing was too much trouble,everything you could possibly need was well catered for and nothing was too much trouble,the only thing I would say though is pace yourselves because this place is vast and you can wear yourself out very easily if you try to do too much in a day. We will surely come again as it’s a destination that caters for the youngest to the grandparents,”absolutely awesome “.

Services like concierge, valet parking, and hands-free shopping make visits seamless. A stylish escape just 40 minutes from Paris.

If your are an Indian, this place makes zero sense. We get all the same stuff in our own country in last than half the price. There discounted shirt starts at 120 euro. Jeans at 180 euros. I was very disappointed to see how europeans are ripped of for same stuff for such massive cost. Its just not worth it. If you have too much money to spend than may be you will like it. But not worth the trip if you are coming all the way from Paris. Eats half of your day and nothing to gain.

Despite being an outlet, there aren't any affordable items. I even found more affordable items here at Champs-Elysée. It's nice to wander around in the open air. There's also a classic shopping mall section, but the prices are above average. Don't waste your time.

Spent a half a day shopping at the outlet. The meeting point at the hotel to take a bus to the outlet was easy to locate. The staff at the meeting point was excellent and explained everything. The bus driver was very accommodating as well and waited to make sure everyone was on board both ways. There is ample time to shop. You arrive with the outlet opens at 10 AM and it is about a 1 Hour Dr. with a quick stop at Disney for drop offs. The return time to be back to the bus was 230.pm Hour You do have time to have a light lunch as well. There are many very high-end stores there and I recommend looking up the Directory of the various stories you would like to browse. you can register to become a member so when you arrive, you can check in with the concierge and have your packages sent to the concierge office so you are not carrying all your purchases with you while shopping. The discounts are worth it. There is a large mall at the end of the outlet you can explore as well. Make sure you have your passport in order to get the tax refund forms filled out in the stores, and you can obtain the return at the airport. I was told that you get more money back if you place it back on your credit card. At the airport or train station you can do it on the kiosk by yourself. Very self-explanatory. in total had approximately 4 1/2 hours to shop. I found that to be more than enough time.

Great outlet for shopping in Paris and you can use the Navigo Pass and take the RER train to get there. . When you get out of the train station, you just need to walk through the shopping mall and go to the other end where you will see the aquarium and get out of the exit to reach the Outlet. You can easily spend few hours at the Outlet.

Nice little outlet village with lots of big names like Gucci, Prada, Moncler, Burberry, Longchamp, and more. Great if you’re into fashion and love a good deal. Right next door is Val d’Europe, a huge shopping centre with high-street shops, supermarkets, and food options, good for a break or if outlets aren’t your thing. Personally, I’m not big on shopping, so it was just okay for me. But others in my group were thrilled and left with bags of bargains. Worth a visit if you love shopping. If not, still a decent way to spend a few hours.

The shopping was unbelievable! I had to buy more luggage to take home my finds! The Zara store has the best sales! I bought a YSL bag at Saint Laurent!

Park is well organised but the map given to visitors needs improving as it has a bunch of logos on it but no legend for those logos. The train is quite good. The tiger enclosure looks small and the tiger a bit sad. One of the smaller cats seemed a bit out of sorts and kept going around in circles. The lion enclosure is quite big which is nice to see but they are a big group. The lemur enclosure was interesting. The guide told us there were about 7 lemurs that were excluded from the main group because they had been touched by visitors. You see in the enclosure the lemurs are friendly and walk around visitors to say hello and come right up close without barriers. One even jumped on a baby stroller so it is very easy to touch them. I was so stressed out the whole time someone would touch these curious lemurs and they would be pariahs. Why did the park not take this risk into account when designing the enclosure? You cannot trust all visitors to behave. There needs to be protection between visitors and the lemurs, like glass or a barrier. The monkey enclosure was super cool I have to say. And I really enjoyed the talk. We also went to the parrot park which is a 10 minute walk. It was quite nice.

A very good alternative to a day at Euro Disney for those who don't like rides, yet in easy reach should you be dropping off those who do. We were impressed at the scale of the Parc - lots to see, and no hurry to do so. Recommended to see the goats early (buy the bag of popcorn but keep it very high, and expect them to calm down only when the bag itself is empty and eaten!), then take the train ride to get a sense of the scale of the place, plus some of the cats are best seen from the train. Then go explore on foot, taking time to locate the cats where they are well camouflaged. If needed, there is a train stop at the farthest edge from where you can let the train take the strain on the way back. The ride back has an educational element and (spoiler) some sounds effects. Especially noteworthy are the very cute Lemurs and the pride of lions at the far end of the park, which can be very well seen from the impressive walkway and towers. For those whose French is not yet perfect, there are very good bilingual signs to help the English speakers understand the detail. A great day out. Amazing park. I have not seen too many beasts so close! The train was lovely too especially my little one loved it 😊

I would definitely recommend this place for family trips. There are a few food stands and one restaurant which have kid-friendly menu (sausages, hot dogs, waffles, ice cream, fries, etc). Of course there are toilets, which were quite messy when I visited this park. Also, you can ride a train around the park every 30 minutes for free! Another fun thing is the free 4D cinema, which is right next to the train station. The short movie was quite boring (for me, as an adult), but the kids liked it. And of course, there are many felines. They are categorized by their original continents. And there are also lemurs :). Overall, it was a pleasant visit. PS: please!!! make more of mamul souvenirs! I love manuls, and I was quite disappointed about the lack of souvenirs with their faces.

The big cats have very spacious places to stay. As a result, they are sometimes difficult to spot, but that adds to the safari feeling ;) Take the time to see everything, for younger kids it can be a lot of walking. There is also a train that allows you to see many of the big cats. To see the little cats you have to take the walking route. Overall it took us about 4 to 5 hours to see everything. All animals have shelters where they can hide well if they want to, for this purpose houses and night pens have often been built for the small cats where you as a visitor have a good view. In the middle of the day they use these places to rest. The cats I've seen looked healthy and showed no signs of stress or boredom. On the signs at the enclosures you will find fun and useful information about the animal species and also the names of the animals that live in that enclosure. In the petting zoo you can feed the goats popcorn, and you can also feed the carp that swim around the lemur island with this.

Great zoo with plenty of space for the animals, the train ride is helpful to see the extent of the park as it passes the large enclosures. There is a 2 Park / 1 day ticket available with the adjacent primate Zoo, and a 2 day ticket can be purchased for a small fee. Well worth a visit, just make sure you bring a camera with a long lens! :-)

An incredible adventure, it's a huge space, full of nature as well, you can find areas to eat and areas just to sit and relax, very satisfying

Caesar Keep is a great historical landmark that showcases medieval architecture beautifully. It also offers an impressive 360 degree view of the small town. The top area was a bit dirty, with pigeon droppings and some accumulated dust, which took away slightly from the experience. Still, it was a good visit overall and a great way to appreciate the history of the place.

The place is nice to see but honestly there is not much to see inside. Relatively small and can be covered within 90 minutes. Almost empty. The price is reasonable but still nit worth the money…………

Tour César is a striking historical landmark located in the medieval town of Provins. Steeped in history, this iconic tower offers a glimpse into the region’s past and provides panoramic views of the surrounding area. A must-visit for history lovers and anyone exploring the charm of Provins.

This 12th-century tower sits on a hill with amazing views and a cool mix of history and architecture. It used to be a prison and a bell tower, and its octagonal shape on a square base is really unique. Quick to visit but packed with medieval charm.

Must see for anyone visiting Provins. Buy the ticket at the town information center before you go to the tower.

A painfully over-restored castle. The newly restored right tower is not a sight to behold. Inside, however, many interesting details are still visible. Also of interest is the building's vertical open section, which reveals the medieval structure.

I loved this castle! It is well-restored and has an interesting history. It's wild to imagine walking on floor tiles that have been in use for maybe 900 years! There is just enough decor and information to give you a sense of the castle over the centuries... It feels a bit like a treasure hunt, following along with the story of the former inhabitants and the renovation process. Don't miss the lower level with the story of the renovations. The video at the end almost made me cry. Keep an eye on time because they do kick you out for their lunch break! The medieval garden was so well-tended, we loved all the happy herb plants with their corresponding labels. I also loved the colorful tiles in the bathroom. It's amazing how the visitors center was designed so as to be essentially invisible when approaching the castle. We also really enjoyed the saunter through the town to get to the castle. What a charming place! It's a great value for the price of admission... We paid 6 Euros and we were there for almost two hours. Would have stayed longer!

Fantastic castle with great audio visuals in 4 languages. Excellent exhibition detailing the recent renovation and lovely walled gardens. Perfect mornings entertainment for the family. Tremendous views of the surrounding countryside.

This is a very well maintained beautiful small château that has an audio self guided tour as well as regular tours (check with chateauneuf team for hours and languages). The small village where the château is located is a very quaint village with beautiful stone houses and quite a variety of small restaurants where you can havevlunch, dinner or just an apéritif or a coffee break. Checked some of the menus andcthe prices were quite reasonable . . Definitely recommended !

It is not expensive to visit, which is fair as a lot of the castle is not available to see. There are a lot of videos to watch about the renovation work which are quite interesting. There were a couple of primary school classes visiting when we went, so it was often difficult to see anything. It's not somewhere I would take the smaller grandchildren as it's quite bland and a lot of reading to do to understand it. Parking in the very pretty village and toilets near the gift shop.

Went with the family during our holiday. Kids (4 & 7yrs) loved it. Free entrance for kids, adults was not so expensive. (6eur p.p) (The souvenir shop itself was quite expensive) Keep in mind that between 12.30-14.00 visiting is closed. We spended ~1 hr in the château and also ~1hr in the village. Lots of art to be found, some restaurants but no grocery shopping.

Lovely place for a walk and some ice cream. If you have the time, take the full tour of the fortress. If not, enjoy the majestic renovations and the view. Carefully: avoid walking under the oaks- the caterpillars are toxic.

Really loved the audio guide that gave great information but was entertaining the way it is done. Took us about an hour and a half to go through and a great picture of the non wine history in Beaune. Especially liked the pharmacie room and the presentation of every day life in those times.

This was definitely the highlight of our visit in Beaune. The building used to be a hospital for poor people and is now very well restored. Entrance fee is Euro 12 - you can book online or pay at the spot. The roof and the building itself are very beautiful but they cannot be seen from outside. You need to purchase a ticket. I am glad we did.

Truly beautiful: the roof, courtyard, musuem displays, the numerous works of art. Very well curated, easy to understand the history and acts of charity carried out here. The Last Judgement altarpiece is a true masterpiece and is not to be missed, very powerful Practically had the place to ourselves after 6

Great place to learn about how medicine was practices since the 15th century. Well restored and well presented. Their audio guide is an excellent teaching and learning tool, especially the “if you would like to learn more” green button.

Step back in time of old style hospital. Magnificent building with a tiled roof you can see best from inside the large courtyard. Well worth the entry fee. Booklet or headphones self audio tour are included with ticket price.

Working for a Hospice charity, I enjoyed seeing the granddad of Hospices in Beaune. This town was caring for the vulnerable from before my country was even discovered. Amazing tour and worth the ticket price to enter.

A must have seen in Beaune. Yes the roof is great. But for me the history of the very old hospital and its foundation fascinates me more. You get an audioguide, which I highly recommand. The tour is about 1 to 1,5 hours. A lot old hospital furnitures and equipment. Entrance was 12€, which is ok for such an historic place!

It is one of the most beautiful constructions of medieval times. Best atmosphere and vibes ✨️

This church and Abbey is one of the best preserved in France. It is surrounded by it's own walls and gates which gives it an impression of a fotres. Already in the 6th century a church was built here in a place where there used to be a Roman castrum or army camp. The Abbey got a boost in 875 when the remains of Saint Philibert were put to rest in this church and gave it it's name. The church is sober on the interior but has some interesting mosaics behind the main altar. At the entrance is a small exhibition. The Abbey has a nice central courtyard

One of the most amazing churches I have been to, and I have been to hundreds or thousands of them. Beautifully restored, but not too much changed from its original state. Wonderful natural light. Not too crowded. Amazing architecture. Interesting, beautiful town that is not too touristy (at least in January, when I visited). Great, inexpensive lunch at the restaurant just outside (to the south of) the main entrance. If you like old buildings or Romanesque architecture, you should not miss Tournus.

Site unique as it combines an industrial effort and an architectural utopia. Excellent support to the visitors with modern interactive audio and visual guides. Definitely enjoy the various side gardens.

Striking architecture with gardens of equally stunning proportions! The different sections of the garden were interesting to vistit and nice to see the sustainable approach with lots of natural habitats for wildlife. I hope to come back soon!

Loved it. Museum, very well maintained. Spend prox 5hrs here..cloudy, rainy & sunny day... With family (2 kids - 4 & 7yrs) with the HistoApp on the provided tablets searching for golden coins in chests and in the meantime get the glimpse of history. Got them engaged for the full 2.5hrs in the museums and another 2hrs in the gardens. Cherry on the cake were the gardens, one adventure after another one. So much flora to be found here very diverse fauna. If you like flowers, garden inspiration and history this is the place to see. Parking during high season (mid july) might be a challange (free). Parking is suitable for campers on main parking, there is a 2nd parking lot where high vehicles (2mtr+) are prohibited.

A wonderful and beautiful place, as much for its historical interest as a UNESCO heritage site, as for the botanical garden spaces, curated in an attractive and accessible way with lots of information. Not to be missed if you are anywhere near.

A really fascinating place to visit. The architecture and history of La Saline d’Arc-et-Senans are impressive, and the museum does a great job explaining how the saltworks operated. The grounds are quiet and relaxing—perfect for a short walk. Definitely worth the visit if you’re in the area.

Beautiful hike and falls. We went on a public holiday, which made it quite busy. Although it was still very enjoyable, would recommend going on a weekday or a regular weekend.

Nice hike yet quite a lot of people on the “main route”. Keep you eyes on the map when leaving the waterfall route for a longer hike, a wrong left turn might turn into a loooong walk….

Very nice place for walk and kids hangout. Remember there is one parking above and then you walk down, another parking is down and you walk up. If you are with kids preferably go to parking down. Feb 2024

Quite crowded but not without reason. Several lathe and small waterfalls can be viewed and experienced from a will maintained path. Though mostly easy to walk with stairs were needed, it can be sometimes a bit steep and slippery. Because there is only one trail along the river and the trail at points only allows one person, when crowded it is easily jammed. Don't forget to bring some food and drinks with you if you venture past the first waterfall. There is plenty of parking space (paid).

Beautiful waterfalls and walk...would definately recommend it for a day trip. It could be quite difficult to walk parts of the route if you had limited mobility as there are many steps and slippery rocks but you can choose how far you walk. On the route we took I couldn't see any restrooms or restaurants which were open unfortunately

Nice cascade. Unfortunately, it was almost dry because of the hot summer. -2 stars because of the parking lot for which you have to pay (5 euro 1h). The first 20 minutes are free, but it is almost impossible (without running) in that timeslot to walk to the waterfall and back

Absolutely stunning waterfalls. Make sure you wear good footwear with a lot of grip as it's quite slippy in places. Also it's best not to go off on the longer walk in the forest without a map as it is really easy to get lost! There are multiple paths and they are not sign posted once you get away from the main walk along the gorge with the waterfalls.

Located in Gerardmer, this beautiful quiet glacial lake offers stunning views over Vosges mountains🏞🌄. It is located at 660 meters altitude and has a maximum depth of 38 meters and a mean depth of 17m. It's waters are cristal clear, and they are the home of many fish species like carp, roach fish, pike and trout🐟. You have the opportunity to walk/hike around the lake or to rent boats (there are 3 or 4 boat providers and 2 that offer lake tour with bigger boats), to eat icecream or have dinner or lunch on the shores of this lake. Although it is surrounded by mountains and it seems like a place where no water sports can be practiced, it has on it's shores a sports center where teens and children learn different water sports🚣🏄‍♀️. It also has on it's shores an aquatic center with a natural pool and a beach🏖. Visiting in May this wonderful city and region, I am pleasantly surprised and impressed by this beautiful lake. I can't wait to come back do do the lake tour by foot🚶‍♀️, and to hike on the peak of one of the mountains to see the lake view🏞 that i have heard about..

Small but nice lake, enough to spend couple of days of vacation here. Can rent the pedal boat to have a short look around (1 hour 16€). Or just walk on it's perimeter, won't take longer than few hours. Camp is there too, also you can find a casino and cozy tables with benches for a picnic. The lake itself is quite clean, allowed to fish and swim.

Beautiful place to watch the sunset. Nearby is a nice playground that is suitable not only for big kids but also for toddlers.

Clean and blue waters, nice kid friendly hike by the lake. It can get a bit crowded over weekend but a nice getaway for a day or two.

Gorgeous hike up and down, but your knees have to be fit enough! About 14km, took us 5h up and down including a break and stops to watch the animals and nature. The views at the top are stunning!

Beautiful hike and very customizable to the people you are with. The food at the different restaurants is amazing and the views are breathtaking. Even though it was very hot the day we went, the tree coverage protects you from the worst heat. Recommend to go in the morning though!

You can hike from the city of Noiraigue. Depending on how fit you are it will take more or less time. I needed about an hour and a half to reach the top (and the trail is steep!) but it is absolutely worth it. It is a great place to visit and I will certainly go again someday! If you are not that fit I am afraid this is not the place for you.

Magical place. I was there for stargazing. Nice, dark skies. Biel is visible though. But the atmosphere makes up for it.

Great view but hard trail to hike up How to get there? If you take public transportation, you get off at railway station: Noiraigue. The way up: you will turn left, then right, then you follow the signs to sightsee spot: Le Soliat. That are two paths upwards: I took the right side one, it is relatively long, but not so steep. Be careful that the way up is very nature, you will need good hiking shoes! Plan more time if you have kids with you. It took us 3 hours to up, and 2 hours downhill. The path is quite rough and tough, I warned you 😂 If you drive there, it might drive up to the restaurant Le Soliat. Please call them to verify. I would recommend this way for my next visit.

Such a great experience! We went there by a total chance and I’m so happy we did. Kids were amazed the whole time- recommend to everyone if you are in area. Pro-tip: if you come on the first Sunday of month- entry is free! Have a walk in citadel, museum, check out the Lion… there is plenty to do and find out. Also, views from the top- amazing!

Beautiful place with A great view of Belfort and the mountains. I thought you gave to pay everything but that wasn’t true. You can just walk to the fort, go up, enjoy the view and walk anywhere nearby. Also in the summer it is a good place to get some sun, because there is plenty of grass where you can lay down and enjoy the sun and the view.

Amazing sculpture at the top of the mountain. Be ready for lots of stairs. Around the statue, there are nice walks around the fortress

If you are a train fan, reserve 3-4 hours of your time to see everything. For everyone else: at least 2 hours to just walk the whole thing. Fantastic collection, large and diverse. Great for all ages; there are educational sections, too, to learn how trains work. Entrance was 16 EUR, which, in my opinion, is absolutely reasonable for the content you are getting. There is a local restaurant on site where you can eat for 15-20 EUR per adult, drinks included. Very easy access by public transport: 20-minute tram ride + 450-meter walk.

One of the most amazing museums I’ve ever visited! 3 hours went by without noticing and both us parents as well as our 5 year old kid had loads of fun! Totally recommend this place!

Great train museum showcasing the history of trains and French public transport. The collection is huge and very well maintained.

If you like trains and history it's really worth it. I think you can spend 2.5-3 hrs easily with a normal speed of going around and see everything.

Nice railway museum with lots of examples of former trains (including various record-breaking locomotives and TGV trains!). There’s a gift shop and restaurant. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Visiting this museum truly felt like an authentic journey back in time. The sheer variety of the trains on display was incredibly impressive; I honestly never imagined that locomotives and passenger cars could be so stunningly beautiful. I was especially fascinated to learn about the most luxurious 'apartment trains,' which were essentially rolling homes complete with sleeping rooms, dining cars, showers, and even private cabinets. It was a genuine surprise to see how many domestic comforts were available on the rails, historically and perhaps even today. What truly sets this museum apart is its immersive organization. It’s not just a static collection of old trains, but a thoughtful presentation of a specific historical era. The museum does an excellent job of creating the atmosphere of the past by installing various figures to simulate scenes of travel and daily life. While I would agree that the figures themselves weren't always aesthetically perfect, the recreated scenes and detailed environments successfully brought the history to life, offering a powerful sense of context and time.

As descripted, one of biggest railway museum. Collection mapping mainly french rail history, wich is luckily also world history. Interesantly and complexive. I mean here is possibly everything (about french history in any case) , exept Andre Chapelon´s SNCF 240P class (some other is). For me is it Must see!

If you’re a fan of classic cars, this museum is a mustsee. The collection is vast and seems endless, with many beautifully preserved vintage models. During my visit, there was also a special Tintin exhibition, which made it even more enjoyable.

This was a quick day trip for us while staying in Basel. Amazing collection of automotive history and well worth spending a few hours to explore. The collection of cars from the Tintin books was very cool, particularly if you're a Tintin fan like me!

DEFINITELY A MUST if you're in Mulhouse area, east France. The fact that Musée National de l'Automobile has an collection of more than 400+ cars ranging from more than 100 years ago, is amazing itself. Not to mention they have probably the world most complete collection of Bugatti, like almost a hundred of them. And one of them in the Masterpiece area, the 1936 50T Cabriolet, is now the world most expensive vehicle, worth 100M Euro !!! The details of it, and the idea of building a luxury car back to almost 100 years ago, is really highly admired.

One of the best car museums i’ve ever been. It’s really worth every penny you’re paying for it. Tons of great, rare and unique pieces you will find there. Nice location, brilliant realisation. All cars are in good condition, and like in any other real museum, you can smell oil, gasoline and old leather from them. If you have kids or you just unbelievably love cars, you’ll be happy there

Millions of dollars worth of cars, and they couldn’t get a decent translator for the placards? Honestly it became kind of amusing just how bad the English translations were after a while. The cars are stunning, there is no denying that. Arguably the most complete collection of vintage Bugattis in the world (but surprisingly no modern ones - no Chiron, EB110, not even a Veyron? Maybe they’re locked away somewhere else) 1/4 of the cars in the main hall were covered in white drapes due to construction. To the contractors/ museum officials, I say to you: “ plastic sheeting comes in transparent forms”. Overall a vanity project of a (now dead) rich white guy but there’s some stellar automotive and racing history laid out in these rooms. You’re in Mulhouse, you’re likely gonna go.

Quite possibly one of the greatest car collections in the world. The outside is Beautifully presented... Upon entering the building you have no idea of how overwhelming this place can be. As you begin walking around and seeing a few cars you get lulled into it being a normal museum.... But then you walk into the room with a few Bugattis... You keep walking and seeing more Bugattis... Then you realise, one whole side is just Bugattis 🤯 Then you see the Bugatti Royale.. and realise hold on the have two Bugatti Royales 🤯 .. This place is crazy the sheer number of Bugattis and special cars is crazy... Then the story of the Schlumpf brothers ... Simply put, if you are a car lover you must come here... It's epic.. The shock value never diminishes even after multiple trips

One of the best car collections I have seen. From old to new and some extremely rare peices. We spent about 3 hours in here. There were lots of other things inside to keep children entertained too. There was a section all about Tintin which showed the different books and the cars linked to it which was nice. There was a driving simulator, small ride on cars and a vr F1 experience.

This zoo os great with kids. The surounding are made with so many details in mind, everything is green when you walk around. My kids and I loved it. There is great food stations too, amany animals. Especially the aquarium part is super big and nice too. The only downside, its in the middle of the city of Basel, a little hard to get too.

Love love this place- I went pretty late (4-6pm). Although I skipped the crowds, some of the animals were already in their enclosures (not in exhibit), but it didn’t detract from my joy of being there. Loved the vivarium, farm animals, snow leopard, flamingos, meerkats, and penguins. I would have loved to be able to see the new hippo baby though :(.

Zoo was good for a city zoo. I don't want to spoil it so only posted a miniscule amount of photos. I loved going into the bird house. It had some levels to it so find the elevator or stairs. Spent from just after 9am until 4pm.

It is very convenient. With stroller we could go through the whole Zoo. We were lucky we could see all the animals. They have huge space in the restaurant & also banks everywhere to sit.

A very nice zoo – not too big, not too small. There’s a great variety of animals, and even on rainy days you can enjoy several indoor areas. We always love coming here!

It's a very strange and beautiful place. They let the penguins walk freely in the zoo. However, the path was very clean. The staff there were very kind. Everything was good. I was there for 6 hours and I didn't want to leave at all. It was very enjoyable to be with the animals. I wish they were free in the wild, but the animals are having fun there too. The animals are definitely happy there. I recommend you to go there to enjoy being with nature.

What a lovely zoo- lots to see with a variety of animals. I particularly liked the giraffe enclosure. There was also a lovely coffee shop and gift shop near the entrance.

Definitely worth the visit, the building is beautifully crafted. If you walk behind the building you will have an excellent view overlooking the River. Lots of people were having picnics and relaxing here.

Solo travelers are not allowed to climb the towers, for suicide prevention reasons. You can find another tourist and ask to accompany them, but without the employee seeing this. Don't let them know you are strangers. There's a small fee to climb the towers and it's well worth it. Basel Minster was built between the 11th and 16th centuries in a blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles. After the 1356 earthquake, it was significantly rebuilt incorporating Gothic elements such as pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and large stained-glass windows. The cathedral is made of red sandstone and is notable for its two main towers, St. George’s and St. Martin’s, and its patterned tile roof. The Minster served as the Catholic cathedral until the Reformation in 1529, after which it became a Reformed Protestant church. The Gallus Gate at Basel Minster is the oldest Romanesque figure portal in the German-speaking world, built around 1185. In the tympanum is Christ as Judge of the World, accompanied by Peter and a donor figure, while the lintel below shows the Parable of the Ten Virgins. During the Reformation in Basel (1529), iconoclasm took place at Basel Minster as part of the city’s shift from Catholicism to Protestantism. Religious images, statues, and altars that were seen as idolatrous were removed or destroyed. The interior today remains relatively bare compared to its original medieval design.

It was originally built in the 1000’s as a Roman Catholic Cathedral and became a Protestant church. There’s no fee to get in the church but there’s a fee to go up the top. Behind the church is the Rhine River.

Don’t miss the chance to reach the top of the church. While climbing, it might seem like you’ve reached the end, but be sure to check—there’s a good chance there’s a way to go even higher."

Had a free walk around then spotted people paying to go up the towers. We tried this for a small charge and it's well worth the steep steps to go to the 3 levels available. Bit tight at times depending on how many people go up but numbers are controlled.

A very beautiful and nice cathedral! You can have an amazing view over Basel from the top!

Basel Minster is absolutely worth a visit! I’ve climbed several church towers across Switzerland, but this one had the narrowest spire staircase I’ve ever squeezed through! It’s a bit of a tight spiral toward the top, but that only adds to the adventure. Once you reach the viewing platform, you’re rewarded with panoramic views of Basel, the Rhine, and even into France and Germany on a clear day. The cathedral itself is beautifully maintained, with intricate stonework and a peaceful courtyard. It’s a perfect mix of charm, challenge, and postcard-worthy scenery. Don’t miss it!
