It was great experience with family and friends. But maintance was very poor. We visit science city on Saturday and there was many school students came to visit also. If you are planning the visit, try to plan on week days not on holidays

Beautiful landscape, lots of activities, simulators etc. 4-5 hours required to visit. Somethings require more maintenance but overall nice place.

This place is made to understand the basic concepts of science in a very interesting way. You must visit there once at this place. Very large area, I learned different topics of science there and also understand the basic structure and functioning of human body. It takes 5-6 hours to see all the things. Different topics are- Climate change, Laser show, Flight Simulator, Dome theatre and many more.

Nice place to visit. Particularly interesting for children. It is costly in terms of tickets and entertainement. But with the various activities, toy train, boating, shows, huge area, dinosaur park and children enjoyment, with paying the price. Some area was closed today but enough for the day. Normally they ask for package, you can take package which usually costs lower. There are many scenic area, if you like photography then I believe you should plan according for the day light or Sun light directions for best shots.

Science city is place worth to visit with the students who have some knowledge of science. It’s green, large campus with various blocks on subjects like electricity, laser shows, astronomical block etc is worth visiting.

Pushpa gujral science city, is a beautiful place fr fun, adventure and learning.. So much effort and precision must have been put in to make it wonderful and to keep it that way.. Dinosaur park is really amazing.. It looks so much real, u are bound to be scared.. Go there with kids and your family and you will love it to the core

Set in a sprawling campus, the Pushpa Gujral Science City near Kapurthala is a beautiful place intended to kindle or stoke a scientific bent of mind in young and old alike. Don't miss the Sports Science Centre; it is indeed one of a kind. The Dino Park is interesting. There is enough to keep curious kids interested, especially the Fun and Games oriented exhibits and installations. This place can take an entire day, so plan accordingly.

Its a beautiful place depicting the famous and fabulous culture of punjab... They charge you at the entry and then everything inside is free of cost..there are plenty of things to do inside... they have live dance performance also... Its a vast area..you will require a lot of time to visit every corner of this place..

The thali was good however there was no fresh safed makhan or makki ka roti or even gulab jamun. The chai was poor because there was no option for no sugar the ladies who made the parantha were never listening to my grandmother who is seventy years old and kept giving her rotis not fresh tawa ka parantha. And the dancing was great however the music is deafening. However the kulfi, dhai Bhalla were amazing, the magic show was great however the chuski was too sweet, I would not recommend bringing the elderly to eat the snacks as it was way too sweet. In the whole Havel was good however this rangale punjab was poor as they didn’t have that many Punjabi food

Great place to enjoy evening. Staff is very nice and food at stalls and main room was awesome. Everything we tasted was superb. It’s an entertainment for family of all ages. Only problem was with astrologer who seems to be a fraud….. used a same old story which frauds use to extract money from you by scaring you. We saw this in Chokhi Dhani Jaipur too but there the guy was good and gave us option.

A must visit place in Jalandhar. Hidden places, things, culture, games everything is preserved there. The food is delicious and they serve it with smileand they will make sure, you are tummy full before leaving

Locatuon is good right at the highway. Inside atmosphere is good but areawise is not so big. Cultural programme is great. Punjab old cluture is displayed everywhere which is good to see if you have come for the first time Inside a big restaurant is there which is included in the entry ticket but frankly I didnt like the food inside and the biggest reason is - We had so many small meals/ food around the restaurant ( stalls everywhere like chaat, candys, ice cream etc) inside and we got full and there is no place left for the dinner. We suggest you to have the fresh baked roti with makkahn and chutney stall and enjoy other small meals ( chaat, pani puri, candys, ice cream kulfi, aam panna jaggery tea etc.), for diner you can opt after sometime post your digestion. Evrything is included in the entry ticket. Overall I feel the entry ticket 1000 is over priced as the place is not so big and also the food option is limited. One time visit is good.

My recent visit to Gurudwara Nanaksar Kaleeran Sahib was a deeply spiritual and peaceful experience. As soon as I stepped inside the Gurudwara premises, I felt an overwhelming sense of calmness and purity. The melodious kirtan (hymns) being sung by the ragis created an atmosphere that touched the soul and helped quiet the mind. The architecture of the Gurudwara is beautiful — simple yet grand, reflecting traditional Sikh design with its white marble and golden dome. The premises were immaculately clean and well-maintained, showing the dedication of the sewadars who serve here with true devotion. The experience was further elevated when I received the Hukamnama Sahib, the divine order of the day, which felt personally guiding and deeply meaningful. I’ve attached the image of the Hukamnama as a cherished reminder of the spiritual wisdom received that day. The Langar (community meal), as always, was a symbol of equality and kindness — prepared and served with love, reminding us of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings of seva (selfless service) and vand chakna (sharing with others). Overall, my visit to Nanaksar Kaleeran Sahib was more than just a trip — it was a soulful experience that renewed faith, brought peace, and filled the heart with gratitude. Moreover, whenever you will visit here you will find artificial Tigers & Lions everywhere, the reason behind the wild animals used to come here to listen the Gurubani and train frequently stopped nearby railways line without any stopage ( locals beliefs). The moment I entered, the intricate carvings, beautifully painted ceilings, and royal artifacts took me back in time. Every corner of the palace complex had a story to tell—from the royal bedrooms to the weapon galleries and ornate courtyards. The fort is open from **10 AM to 4:30 PM**, and the ticket price is quite reasonable—₹50 for Indians and around ₹300 for foreigners. Audio guides cost about ₹350, but I chose a local guide who was both informative and entertaining. He explained the history with such passion that it made the whole visit more memorable. Accessibility-wise, the fort is fairly senior-friendly as it’s on level ground and cleanly maintained, though a few narrow stairways and uneven sections might require caution. Parking is available near the entrance, and staff members are quite helpful if you need assistance. Overall, my experience at Junagarh Fort was both educational and emotional—a glimpse into Rajasthan’s regal charm without the hassle of steep climbs. The guide’s storytelling, the preserved grandeur, and the sense of calm inside made it one of my favorite stops in Bikaner.

The fort is amazing. After whole tour, I was just mesmerized is a beauty and the history that it serves. I forgot the Red Forts of Delhi and Agra. The architecture is amazing. Most amazing sites are Anup Mahal and Holi chowk. The whole court is covered with art. Well preserved by the royal family. The ticket is 100 (fort) + 50 (royal museum) for Indians. This staff is good and helping. Must visit for all in a lifetime.

A wonderful historical place of Rajasthan. One must visit to explore it's unique style known for its rich architectural heritage, opulent palaces, and intricate decorations. Built by the ruler Raja Rai Singh between 1588 & 1593, it stands on a plain, unlike many hilltop forts, and features red sandstone walls. The fort complex includes multiple palaces, temples, and pavilions, reflecting a blend of Rajput, Mughal, and Gujarati architectural styles. You have to purchase tickets to explore it. Few parts of the fort is closed for tourists.

Hi If you visiting Rajasthan don’t miss junagarh fort and palace. This is the most beautiful palace accosting me compared to Udaipur and Jaipur. The collections are so colourful you will go flabbergasted . Pictures will tell the story . I am not good at photography. Still the photos seems to be extraordinary 😊

This is the famous Shwetambar Jain 'ghee' temple of Shree Sumtinath prabhu. With a chaumukhi pratima as well. It has 40,000kg ghee in the foundation of the temple. In the summers the floors feel greasy by themselves. Made more than 500 years ago. Famous for its gold work paintings on the mool gambhara doorway and the main temples domes. Mandir is open the whole day post 6am till 7.15pm. Here clicking photos is not allowed. Nearby there is another prachin Shri Neminath Temple in the garden behind this Ghee mandir. The temple is famous for wall painting and art work.This temple was constructed by Bhandasa Oswal in the 12th century. The temple is dedicated to Sumatinatha, the 5th tirthankara .According to legends, 40,000 kg of ghee instead of water was used in preparing the mortar for the construction of this temple.

The main fact that Ghee was used to make foundation instead of water. The story behind is that people gone to Seth Bhandashah for the donations to make tample. But at that time a drop of ghee spilled off from the hand of Seth and the Seth immediately wiped it by his another hand to avoid weasteage. After seeing this, The priest tonted the Seth that you can't even spare a drop of ghee, how will you make that luxurious tample. The Seth then declared that in making of the foundation of the Tample, the ghee will be used instead of water and all the ghee will be provided by him. The priest had taken it lightly, but next morning what he found that tons of ghee was there as Seth Bhandashah promised. At the time of May and June, one can witness that even today ghee comes out from the floor of tample. The tample is dedicated to First Tirthankar Bhagwan Rishabh Dev

An inscription mentions VS 1521 (~1464 CE) during the reign of Rao Lunkaran.Architecture & Special Features Multi-storey Structure: It has three floors; the topmost provides a good view of Bikaner’s skyline. Materials & Style: Red sandstone is used on the exterior; interiors richly painted with stone, marble, frescoes, mirror work, gold leaf, etc. The superstructure (shikhara) is in shekhari style (multi-spired). Layout: Includes mandapa (pillared hall), antarala (vestibule), garbhagriha (sanctum). There’s also a pradakshina path (i.e. a circumambulatory path) around the main shrine. Legends and Unique Construction Detail: One striking legend is that instead of normal mortar with water, about 40,000 kg of ghee (clarified butter) was used in the foundation. Lake is more than what you will expect. Clean and adjoining palace has been converted into Hotel. You can enjoy the views of lake by paying 250 per Person in the Hotel and enjoy boating at 330 Per Person including visit charges. There is another end of lake where you don't have to pay anything but it like in the Jungle.

“Beautiful place” Gajner lake is beautiful lake to visit. Best time is monsoon so much water will there. It was very attractive artificial lake. The 30 minutes boat ride you enjoy the sound of water, birds humming sound at one area, enjoy the shadow of the palace in water and the sun set view is also beautiful. Temple is located 500m off highway. Approach or road from highway towards temple is narrow only one car can pass. Touch have to wait for car to exit then you can take your car in. I recommend to park on highway and walk. Most people after reaching parking place get to know parking charge is Rs 100 and do not park and go back to highway to park. Any day you will have 1000s of visitors guaranteed. You would surely be in queue. There is no arrangement for shoe stand. 1000s of shoes are scattered everywhere. Food grains are donated by devotees are also scattered everywhere. Once you will enter the temple, you will see rats. So much rush that you will get few seconds to see goddess, then you will be pushes away. Even my daughter could not see the goddess, pushes away. Temple is big and magnificent.

Evidence suggests that Osian is a very old settlement. Some of its early names include Uvasisala, Ukesa and Upkesapur-pattana. In its early history, the village was a center for Brahmanism. It was a major stop for camel caravans during the Gupta period.[6] The town was an important center for the Pratihar dynasty. Tradition states that, after being abandoned for a time, the village was re-established by Utpaladeva (c. 900-950). Utpaladeva converted to Jainism, and turned the village into a center for the religion. However, Jainism had a presence in the village long before that. First time here, loved it. The architecture was mesmerizing. I took at at least 10 mins to view each part of this Garden. The temple in the end was the best. Came right on time for arti, felt really blessed. The garden has so many places to click beautiful pictures. You'll have to beaware of the monkeys around, they are a lot of them. I'd recommend a visit to this place at least once if you're in Jodhpur.

While entering the garden, we came to know that Mandodari and Ravan got married here as mandodari was from Jodhpur.

This is very nice to see. It is located very close to the fort. You can spend approximately 1 hour here taking nice photographs of the temple and also you can see the fort from a different perspective. The entry fee is 100 Rupees per person and they also accept card payments. There is also toilets on the grounds. If you are visiting the fort visit this place also. It gets warm very quickly here so come as early as you can. It opens at 9AM.

We visited Jaswanth Thada around 10 AM, and it turned out to be the perfect time, the place was calm with very little crowd. The white marble monument looked absolutely stunning in the morning light, and the whole atmosphere felt serene. The entry fee was ₹30 per person for Indians, and as we walked around, a musician was playing the Ghoomar tune on a Ravanhatta. The music blended beautifully with the surroundings and added so much charm to the experience. We ended up spending almost an hour here, just taking in the architecture, the views, and the peaceful ambiance. A lovely spot to unwind and enjoy Jodhpur’s heritage.

Jaswant thada also known as the taj mahal of jodhpur, was built in remory of Maharaja Jaswant singh 2 and is within or nearby the complex housing the Mehrangarh fort. The white marble structure with lake on one side and the Mehrangarh fort walls on the other side, looks really majestic. The complex also houses beautiful garden and is worth a visit.

Visiting Mehrangarh Fort is always an amazing experience — I’ve been here twice, with a gap of 10 years, and the feeling of awe remains the same. The fort’s beauty and grandeur are truly timeless. Parking is available below the fort in a large designated area for around ₹50 per car. From there, you walk up to the entry gate to purchase your tickets. You also have the option to hire a guide or rent an audio device (about ₹180 per device). The audio guide works with numbered points displayed around the fort, making it easy to follow along with the history. There’s also a lift facility that can take you directly to the top, allowing you to explore the fort from top to bottom. However, if you take the lift, you will skip points 1–6, so make sure to listen to those explanations before you start, since the audio device has to be returned at point 33. Exploring the fort properly takes at least 1–2 hours, and every corner feels worth it. I also tried the Makhaniya Lassi at their café — definitely a good choice to refresh yourself during the visit. The staff at the fort are very humble and helpful, which adds to the experience. The only advice I would strongly give is: avoid visiting in the summer. The heat can be unbearable. The best time is during the core winter months.

This is one of the most important places to visit while in Jodhpur. This fort is amazing to see both inside and outside the fort. You can get here by Tuk Tuk and pay entry at the ticket office which starts at fort entrance. They accept card payments and also cash. It costs 800 Rupees per person to see the fort but worth it. You can spend approximately 2 hours here walking around and enjoying the historic buildings. It is quite warm here but there are cafes around the fort if you need to buy drinks. There are also toilets on site. I would highly recommend you visit this fort. You can also exit the fort through the Blue City side which is also another nice experience exiting the fort through the Blue City. It gets very busy from early. It is best to come at opening time which is 9am.

We visited Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur on March 1, 2025 with our family, and the experience was truly unforgettable. The fort stands as one of Rajasthan’s finest—beautifully preserved and showcasing the true splendour of Marwar’s royal heritage. From the moment you walk through the huge entrance gates, the grandeur is evident. Intricate carvings, elegant jharokhas, spacious courtyards and towering walls paint a vivid picture of the royal era. The museum is equally impressive, featuring royal costumes, weapons, miniature paintings and palanquins that perfectly capture the history and culture of Jodhpur. The entry fee is ₹200 per person, and ₹100 for senior citizens. We didn’t hire any guide but if you want you cant get guide there. For those who prefer not to climb the steep pathways, there is a lift service for ₹50 per person, which takes you directly to the main courtyard — very convenient, especially for families and elders. We spent about 2–3 hours exploring the fort at a comfortable pace. The views from the top are absolutely stunning — a full panoramic view of the Blue City, especially magical during sunset. The fort also has clean washrooms, a nice café offering tea and snacks with scenic views, and a souvenir shop with good-quality local handicrafts. Overall, Mehrangarh Fort is a must-visit in Jodhpur — grand, informative and family-friendly. A perfect mix of history, architecture and breathtaking views.

We really loved visiting Mehrangarh Fort. It was built in 1459 by Rao Jodha and is one of the biggest forts in Rajasthan. The view from the top is amazing. Inside the fort, there is a museum where you can see old weapons, paintings, and royal items. The entry ticket is ₹200 for adults. If you have a student ID card, the ticket price becomes half. The place is very clean, well managed, and a must visit in Jodhpur.

We visited the Clock Tower in Jodhpur and absolutely loved the vibe of the place. Located in the heart of the old city, it’s surrounded by the lively Sardar Market filled with colorful shops, spices, textiles, and local handicrafts. Located near the famous Sardar Market (also named after the Maharaja), the tower became a central landmark of the old city. The clock mechanism was imported from England, showcasing a blend of Indian architecture with British engineering. Made from local red sandstone, the tower reflects traditional Rajasthani architectural style and still stands as a symbol of the city's rich heritage and vibrant market culture.

Beautiful architecture and a mechanical marvel to witness the grand clock still doing it's duty after so many decades. One major disappointment is maintenance and upkeep of the monument and surroundings. It would be fantastic if the premises is maintained well.

A beautiful and grand modern palace that still houses the royal family of Jodhpur. Only a small section of the palace is open to the public as a museum, but it’s well-maintained and gives a glimpse into royal life. You can also see the vintage car collection of the Maharaja, which is quite fascinating. The architecture and interiors are stunning, showcasing luxury and heritage together. The gardens are vast and beautifully kept, and you’ll often spot many peacocks roaming around, especially near the lawns — though the main garden area isn’t open to the public. The palace sits atop a hill, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of Jodhpur city. Parking is available outside the main boundary. The tour is relatively short but worth visiting for the royal vibe and stunning views.

We visited Umaid Bhavan on a weekend around 12:30 PM, and as expected, it was a bit crowded. Just past the entrance, we found a stall selling delicious kulfi — a small but very welcome treat in the heat. The entry is restricted to only a limited section of the palace, mainly the central museum area. While the accessible part is relatively small compared to the entire property, it still offers beautiful glimpses of the royal interiors, vintage collections, and the palace’s history. Overall, it’s a nice stop if you’re exploring Jodhpur, but be prepared for crowds during weekends and remember that only a portion of the palace is open to the public

The youngest palace of India is an architectural splendor, marvelous heritage hotel of Jodhpur and a true royal experience.visit to the Umaid Bhawan Palace museum typically requires 1 to 2 hours Sunday holiday everyday 5 pm will be closed entry fee 100. The palace was built with "dun-coloured" (golden – yellow) sandstone with two wings. Makrana marble has also been used, and Burmese teak wood has been used for the interior woodwork. When completed the palace had 347 rooms, several courtyards, and a large banquet hall which could accommodate 300 people.It also has vintage car musium.

This museum will make you feel like in another era. As a foreigner, it made me have a deeper understanding of Indian culture especially Rajasthan. The artifacts, the view outside, the architecture, everything is magical. We went there on weekend so it is kinda busy with lots of people but not that suffocating. Overall, it is very nice.

I also loved exploring the different temples inside the fort; each one has its own charm and story. The fort area is clean, the local guides are very informative, and the route to reach there is scenic with winding roads and hills. Kumbhalgarh Fort is a majestic 15th-century fortress in the Aravalli Hills of Rajasthan, built by Rana Kumbha. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is most famous for its 36-kilometer-long defensive wall, often called the "Great Wall of India," which is the second longest in the world. Perched 1,100 meters above sea level, its strategic location and rugged topography made it virtually impregnable, serving as a vital refuge for the Mewar rulers in times of war. Inside its walls, the fort complex includes over 360 ancient temples and the stunning Badal Mahal, or "Palace of Clouds," which offers a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. It also holds deep sentimental value as the birthplace of the legendary warrior king, Maharana Pratap. As a fort it is mysterious, this fort cannot seen from ground, when you cross Halla Pol after few meters from there the fort is visible. Except Great Wall and Mahara Pratap birthplace, there is nothing. Museum is closed. Don't take guide, they will charge you 750 for 4 person and also provide some misinformation about museum. Entrance fee is 40 rupees for Indian and 600 for foreigners. Parking is infront of Hanuman Pol. All Historical Artifacts are kept in City Palace Udaipur. So, little bit disappointed.

Standing before this massive World Heritage Site, surrounded by the Aravalli hills, you can instantly feel the power, pride and grandeur of Rajasthan’s history. The fort is truly majestic, built by Rana Kumbha in the 15th century, it’s one of the strongest and most beautiful hill forts in India. The sheer size of the walls stretching over 36 km, often called the “Great Wall of India” is inspiring. It’s hard to believe this was all built centuries ago without modern tools. As we climbed up through the gates and pathways, the views kept getting better. From the top, you get a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding hills and forests, it’s the kind of sight that gives you goosebumps and fills you with pride in India’s heritage. The fort’s architecture, temples and palaces inside are beautifully preserved, especially the Badal Mahal, which offers stunning views and a glimpse into royal life. Kumbhalgarh Fort is a majestic 15th-century fortress in the Aravalli Hills of Rajasthan, built by Rana Kumbha. This fort has a majestic wall-spanning for the next 36 kilometers, also known as the great wall of India. The fort is a marvel and a wonder at the same time. Absolutely majestic, vast and amazing. Best time to visit-in the evening an hour before sunset.

It was fabulous. The fort is preserved really well. It makes you travel back in history as all the fort is still present except some part of it. The fort is very colorful and it has a very good vibe to it. I will recommend people to visit it in winters and the weather when fog is there cause it will just enhance the beauty of that place. It is a must visit place for tourists.

Built in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha, Kumbhalgarh Fort is one of Rajasthan’s most magnificent and well-preserved hill forts. It’s surrounded by an incredible 35 km long wall, often called the Great Wall of India — the second longest continuous wall in the world after the Great Wall of China, and still remarkably intact. The fort’s design is ingenious — it’s visible only from around 200 meters away, blending perfectly into the surrounding Aravalli hills. The first gate is Halla Pol, and about half a kilometer ahead is Hanuman Pol, marked by an idol of Lord Hanuman. The fort first becomes visible halfway between these two gates. After entering Hanuman Pol, you’ll see the ticket window ahead — entry is ₹40 for Indian adults. From there, you proceed through the main gate, Ram Pol, which leads into the main complex. Inside Ram Pol, two paths diverge — the left path takes you uphill towards Badal Mahal, while the right path leads to the temples within the complex. It’s best to climb the fort first while you have energy and enthusiasm, and visit the temples on your way down. On the way up, you’ll pass through Bhairon Pol, Nimboo Pol, Chaugan Pol, Pagda Pol, and Ganesh Pol, before reaching Badal Mahal, which offers breathtaking panoramic views. It takes about 3 hours to comfortably explore the fort, enjoy the views, and take pictures. Spare some extra time if you wish to explore the surrounding temples, as they’re spread across the lower areas. Notable temples include Neelkanth Mahadev, Vedi Temple, Parshvanath Jain, and Ganesh Temple. I also went up to Bawan Devri, a very ancient Jain temple located a bit farther inside — totally worth it. From there, I climbed onto the fort wall and walked along it, which was an amazing and memorable experience. Kumbhalgarh is also the birthplace of Maharana Pratap, the great Rajput warrior. With its massive walls, scenic views, and historic charm, it’s truly a must-visit fort in Rajasthan.

We visited Ranakpur Jain Temple recently, and it’s a stunning place! The intricate marble carvings and grand architecture are breathtaking, with every pillar telling a story. The peaceful vibe inside is perfect for reflection, and the surrounding greenery adds to the serene atmosphere. The priests were kind and shared fascinating details about the temple’s history, making the visit special. There’s a small canteen nearby with tasty, simple snacks we enjoyed. However, we faced an issue when a security lady denied us entry, assuming we were non-Indian just because we weren’t fluent in Hindi. It was frustrating but resolved after explaining. Despite this, Ranakpur’s beauty and spirituality are worth visiting.

The nearest railway station is Falna, about an hour’s drive away, making it quite accessible. Photography inside the temple is allowed with a ₹100 ticket, and if you prefer not to carry your phone, there’s a locker facility for ₹10. However, I highly recommend carrying at least one phone or camera — the carvings and architecture are absolutely worth capturing. Women are required to cover their heads with a dupatta before entering; if you forget to bring one, the temple provides it, which is a thoughtful gesture. Most visitors only explore the main derasar, but make sure to wander around the entire complex — that’s where the true charm lies. There are also a few smaller derasars within the premises, and right outside, you’ll find the beautiful Sun Temple, which is worth a quick visit. The Bhojanshala serves simple yet delicious satvik food for around ₹100 per person, and it’s one of the best meals you’ll find. For those planning to stay overnight, the Dharamshala offers neat and clean rooms at about ₹500 per night, making it a great budget-friendly option. Overall, Ranakpur Jain Derasar offers peace, beauty, and spiritual grace — a perfect blend of devotion and artistry. A definite must-visit if you’re in Rajasthan!

This temple is really the highlight of the region. It’s a true hidden gem that photos cannot capture—the beauty and magnificence of the place go far beyond images. The energy is very intense; it took us a while to settle in and vibrate in its frequency. Please try to spend a long time here, at least a few hours—our visit was very short, and we somehow actually regret staying so little. This place is a buffer zone between the physical and the spectral realms, a true masterpiece and a sacred place in every sense.

ShreeNathji Temple is an old heritage-style temple with beautiful, classic architecture that reflects its ancient charm. Many parts of the temple still have that timeless, traditional look, which makes it a peaceful and spiritual place to visit. We also did some shopping nearby — the prices were quite reasonable. After our darshan, we tried the kheer, which cost only ₹20. It was thick, creamy, and absolutely delicious — a must-try for anyone who loves sweets! We wanted to explore more, but heavy rainfall started, so we had to cut our visit short. It was our first visit to ShreeNathji Temple, and we’ve attached some pictures to share a glimpse of the experience.

For every Vaishnav, particularly Pushti Sampradaya, Nathdwara Darshan is ultimate desire. Nathdwara is close to Chittorgarh and nearest Airport is Udaipur, Rajasthan with further travel time of 70 minutes.

This patch of the land is said to be the site of the one of the most famous battles in Indian history,Battle of Haldi ghati .Not so much to view here but if you happen to around here you can visit this site .There are two small memorials built in the memory of two royals who died in this battle.There is also small pond here.This place is not ticketed.This place is located in khamanore village near Haldi Ghati.

The battle of Haldighati was fought here and from the narrow mountain pass to the river Banas in the plains of Khamnor. Today, only a little of it has been preserved. The battlefield spread over six kilometers from Khamnor to Balicha village is known as Haldighati. The museum to be built here at the government level could not be built till date due to corruption. The weapons related to Maharana Pratap and Chetak are safe in the Udaipur City Palace Museum. In Haldighati, private shopkeeping has been promoted in the name of museum. Tourists are deprived of seeing the original sites which are completely free.

This is a historic site which got renovated in 2023 but is not maintained properly. If it is maintained then it can be a good place to visit.

The area is steeped in legend and lore, with echoes of valor and sacrifice resonating through the air. Exploring the site, one can't help but be struck by the sense of history that permeates every inch of the land.

This is the last spot where the second half of the battle of Haldighati was fought between Maharana Pratap and the Mughals. As a result, thousands of soldiers o on both sides were died and their blood flowed to such an extent that it formed a pool. At present it just a park. ASI should focus on this to build more interesting. Also it's not maintained well.

In this ground, hundreds of warriors of both the armies received Veergati and the blood flowing from their wounds took the form of a pond. Was taken, on the basis of which this place is called blood fried. It is very famous place in khamnore near Haldighati. It is very beautiful place.

The garden has lush greenery, fountains, lotus ponds, marble structures, and an artificial water jharana, which make it a nice spot for a relaxing walk. The evening time is especially good for photography because of the soft natural light and calm atmosphere. However, if you expect a very large or grand garden, it may feel a bit smaller than expected. Still, the atmosphere, greenery, and fountain areas make it a pleasant place to visit. Overall, it's a good and peaceful garden to spend 20–30 minutes, especially if you enjoy nature and photography. Saheliyon Ki Bari was built in the 18th century by Maharana Sangram Singh II. According to history, it was created for the 48 maids (saheliyan) who came with the queen as part of her dowry. The king built this garden to give them a peaceful place to relax, spend time together, and enjoy the fountains. This garden was designed as a private retreat for the royal ladies, where they could walk, chat, and enjoy the sound of water fountains away from the palace duties. The fountains work purely on water pressure without any pumps, which shows the excellent engineering of that time. A beautiful, peaceful, and green garden with fountains and photo spots. Good for nature lovers, though slightly smaller than expectations. Worth a quick visit for its history and calm atmosphere

Its singular purpose was to provide a delightful and exclusive pleasure garden for the royal ladies and their maids of honour, offering a glimpse into a bygone, luxurious life. ​The garden's architectural marvel lies in its harmonious integration of Mughal and Rajasthani styles. It features lush, green lawns and a central lotus pool. The most distinctive elements are the white marble pavilions, or chhatris, which stand elegantly against the backdrop of the white walls. Water is the soul of this space. The garden is famed for its numerous fountains, which are supplied from the nearby Fateh Sagar Lake (and later merged into the Bari by Maharana Fateh Singh). These fountains operate without pumps, using a complex hydrostatic pressure system, a testament to 18th century's engineering. ​Ornamental details are delicate and abundant. Stone carved chhatris feature beautiful floral motifs and repetitive arches, as seen in the dark, richly sculpted archways and canopies. A whimsical fountain, adorned with carved mermaid like figures, stands as a charming focal point in the paved courtyard. Ultimately, Saheliyon ki Bari is a tranquil oasis. Its delicate balance of architecture, floral beds, and the soothing sound of perpetually flowing fountains makes it a beautiful memorial to the private leisure of the royal women of Udaipur.

Saheliyon ki bari - A huge and majestic garden located near the banks of Fateh sagar lake, was built by Maharana Sangram Sinh for the royal ladies. He presented this garden to his queen. The queen was accompanied by 48 maids in her wedding. To offer all of them pleasurable moments away from the political environment, this garden was made. This patterned garden used to be the popular relaxing spot of the royal ladies. It has many sections, fountains, lotus pool and marble elephants. Currently, the fountains are managey electronically. But in the old times, this was managed by the vacuum. The garden is very well maintained and full of greenery. There is a nominal entry fees. Must recommend everyone to visit.

It’s a wonderful place to appreciate the artistry and thoughtfulness of the Maharana's gift to the royal ladies. Best Time to Visit: Go during the winter months (October to March) or the monsoon (July to September) when the greenery is at its most vibrant. Time Required: You can easily explore the entire garden and the small adjacent museum (which has some interesting artifacts) in 45 minutes to 1 hour. It's a quick, worthwhile stop. Timing: Try to visit in the early morning (opens at 9:00 AM) or late afternoon (around 5:00 PM) to avoid the midday heat and the biggest crowds. Location: It's conveniently located near Fateh Sagar Lake and Sukhadia Circle, making it easy to fit into your itinerary.

Amazing Gardens and fountains built over 200 years ago. Some of the fountains and sprinklers are in wrought iron and imported from Liverpool back then. Some marble fountains are actually marvel fountains with water moving through hollow legs or elephants and out their trunks or through hollow pillars and out the pergola. All of this is using gravity and there are no pumps to keep the water the moving - the water comes from the Fatehsagar lake which is 80 - 90 mts higher than the gardens and the height of the fountain therefore depends on the level of water in the lake. Amazing engineering.......

Visited this garden in Udaipur, entry ticket is ₹30 per person. It’s nicely maintained with clean toilets and even fresh drinking water available at the entry, which is great. The garden itself is good, but since I went during the daytime, the harsh sun made it difficult to enjoy fully. They definitely need more big trees for shade to make the experience more comfortable. The only parts I truly loved were the Savan Bhado and Bin Badal Barsat spots inside the garden - those were beautiful!

So I visited the Monsoon Palace recently, and honestly, it’s one of those places that’s more about the view than the palace itself. It’s located on a high hill a bit outside the main city, and once you reach the top, you can literally see all of Udaipur — the lakes, City Palace, and everything else. The view is amazing, especially around sunset or during monsoon when it’s cloudy. Getting there is a bit of a ride though. The road is quite steep and curvy, and it takes around 15–25 minutes to reach the top if you’re going by car or scooty. The entry fee is ₹170 per person, and they also charge ₹300 for cars and ₹70 for two-wheelers. There’s a cab service from the base too, around ₹120 per person if you don’t want to drive up yourself. Once you’re at the top, there’s a small parking area, and you have to walk for about 5 minutes to reach the palace. There’s a small café near the palace that sells basic snacks like samosas, puffs, tea, and cold drinks — nothing fancy but it’s good enough if you just want a quick bite or some water. The palace itself is okay-ish, not very grand or well-maintained, but that’s not really the main attraction. The views from up there totally steal the show. You can see the whole city spread out below — it’s especially beautiful during sunset. Overall, I’d say it’s worth going once, mainly for the views and the drive. Don’t expect a super fancy palace, but if you enjoy scenic spots, it’s a nice little trip.

The place is beautiful but the tickets rates have gone up. It's around 170-200 per person for Indians + vehicle charges that are close to 200rs. The road features steap curves so keep that in mind if you're taking your vehicle to the top. 'Museum' is little tbh. There's nothing much to see there, it's mostly a good place for a beautiful garden that features the view of the entire city. You can also go to the edge and see the beautiful aravali range as the sun sets. Keep in mind this place is a famous tourist spot and will get very crowded at evenings and weekends. Sometimes the crowd will make it difficult for you to enjoy the view from the top. If you're here for sunsets on a weekend and getting disturbed by the crowd, I suggest you walk down to the cafe at the very entrance of the palace. It's nothing too fancy but it's a few chairs in the garden that give you a free view of the sunset. You can also stop before reaching the palace. There's a spot few hundred meters before the palace that gives you a clear view with little to no crowd. Overall its a good place to visit especially during monsoons 🍻

Beautiful place. The drive up the palace is scenic. It has variety of views all around the palace. The area around the palace is beautifully done for everyone to take pictures. The actual palace can feel a bit crowded on weekends, but its manageable. They also had a special section on the birds found in the area focussing on eagles, vultures and owls.

Very long queue both for tickets and entry. Online option is not easily found on the web. Some of the performances were good but some very average, specially the duet snake dance performers, they were both doing their own thing ,no co-ordination and appeared to be very casual. The group dances were good. Overall seemed a little like a tourist trap

Bagore ki haveli offers you 2 kinds of experiences, one is the rich history through its museum and the beautiful view and sunset that you can catch from it's jharokhaas and windows. And the other one is ofcourse the dharohar dance show that you cannot miss at any cost. Book the tickets beforehand and buy another ticket for your camera as it's worth it. I went there thrice, and each time it had something new to offer.

Bagore Ki Haveli is a beautifully maintained heritage haveli located near Gangaur Ghat on Lake Pichola. The entry ticket is ₹60, which makes it a very budget-friendly attraction. You can explore the entire haveli in about 30–45 minutes. Inside, you’ll see old Rajasthani rooms, colorful glasswork, jharokhas, traditional costumes, utensils, masks, turbans, and artwork, which show how people lived in the old Mewar period. It’s also a great place for photography, with beautiful courtyards and mirror work. If you want to watch the traditional folk dance and puppet show, there is a separate ticket for the Dharohar Cultural Show held in the evening. The folk dance, music, and puppet performance offer a wonderful glimpse into Rajasthan’s cultural traditions. Bagore Ki Haveli was built in the 18th century by Amar Chand Badwa, the prime minister of Mewar. Later, it was used by members of the royal family, including Maharana Shakti Singh of Bagore. The haveli has more than 100 rooms, courtyards, and beautifully carved balconies. After years of neglect, it was restored by the West Zone Cultural Centre, which turned it into a museum showcasing Mewar’s heritage. A nice, peaceful heritage spot with affordable entry, perfect for a short visit. Great for learning about old Rajasthani culture and also for enjoying the evening folk dance show.

I visited Bagore ki Haveli museum yesterday and it was brilliant. Previously a guest house and a government office, this is now converted into a cultural center and museum. Entry to the venue is ticketed and foreigner tickets cost INR150 and can be bought at the gates.

A well maintained haveli. Museum has a nice collection of old and antique items. Entry ticket for museum is 60/- per person. They have a dance show in evening for which buying tickets in advance is good option.

But pay attention for it is the sanctum sanctorum of the godman of Mewar, Thakur Amar Chand Badwa. Inside there are chambers dark, dusty, classy and machiavellian. Four Maharanas were outclassed, outstrategized, and out-aestheticised by one Pradhan who built a temple to himself and called it home - Bagore Ki Haveli.

Entry is a bit expensive, but the experience is truly unforgettable.

One of the most beautiful palace I have ever visited. It's very magnificent and well maintained. The museum has lot of information. The weapons used during those days, the paintings, dress and culture all are very well preserved. It's a must visit place. There are authorised guides at the entrance please hire one for 500 to get the detailed information about the palace. Do not exit from the exit gate which you will need to pay 50 more and have to take a boat ride which is way expensive instead exit from the entry gate where there are lot of shopping options. There are is also authentic Rajasthani Thali available inside the palace which is good and reasonable.

Beautiful peak, all lush green in monsoon season with many waterfall on the way, to reach there taxi/bike or own vehichle is used. Way is safe not many curve. Few points are there like View point, some wax statue musem/mirror maze/smonath temple with fish pind/one shanti garden nakki lake... Everything is one the way only. On top there is Mandir and mamy shops are there selling toys parasad. Few steps need to be climbed. We didn't got much rush. 1-2 hrs can be spent there to reach it will take 1 hr. I would advise to go and do sit there and feel the peace of peak and mostly people are busy in photography hahaha. Sunset can be viewd on a clear day.

And when you finally reach the viewpoint — oh my god — the panoramic view of the hills, valleys, and the clouds floating around is just magical. Perfect place to sit quietly or take that one perfect Instagram shot 😄 I’d suggest going early in the morning or around sunset. Also, don’t forget to grab a cup of hot tea or bhutta (corn) from the small stalls near the parking area — simple but adds to the whole mountain vibe! This is the tallest place in whole Rajasthan and also very beautiful and marvelous place in aravali, I have been visiting this place from last more than 8 years. This place has a different energy which gives you a very interesting experience so I definitely recommend to all of you to visit it once and specially during sunrise or sunset time. I request to all of you to visit this place by two wheeler except some old ages can travel through cars. During holidays, this place situated at the top of the mount abu so due to heavy crowd you might be face heavy traffic due to small roads. Try to carry some garbage bags so this initiatives help to manage wastes and protect our mother nature 🙏.

It stays naturally cool inside, and the atmosphere feels very calm and spiritual. You need to remove your shoes outside before entering, so be prepared for that too. You can visit this place and go for boating in the lake. The lake has lots of fishes but beware of the snakes which are present there. You can take shared boats, boat that can be rides by two person or a four person boat for half an hour ride. There is a Shivji temple that is located in the centre of the lake, you can easily go there by your boat. Thank you.

Nakki Lake boasts the best boating experience in Mount Abu. Has all sorts of options such as pedal boats, sharing boats, rowing boats, shikara boats, and a few water activities as well, even for kids. The sidewalk around the lake also offers many attractions such as Hanuman Mandir, Raghunath Mandir, Toad Rock Mountain, Bharat Mata Mandir, and the Nakki Market. You name the thing, and Nakki Lake premise can deliver that.

Nakki Lake is a scenic spot surrounded by a walking trail. From the parking, you need to walk about 200–300 meters to reach the lake, or you can take a horse ride. The place is calm and nice for a stroll, paddle boating, or just sitting on the benches around the lake. There’s also a market nearby, but it’s mostly food stalls and ice cream shops with a few local items. A peaceful place to relax, though not much beyond boating and eating.

This is the most popular place in Mount Abu. It ha been developed well but is always over crowded hence cleanliness is an issue. Boaring and walking on the trek are nice activities here. Shopping market is also there.

Gabbar hill. Must visit it. You can buy tickets from ambaji mandir also. I love the view. Lil bit rush will feel when you go there in weekend and festival. But in other days tou can enjoy it with less crowd. I love this place

Gabbar Mountain is a small hillock situated near Ambaji, Gujarat, India. This famous pilgrimage is situated on the border of Gujarat and Rajasthan at a distance of just 5 km from Ambaji. From here, one can see the Arasur mountain. It is considered one of the 51 ancient mythological Shakti Peethas. According to the Puranas, "the Heart" portion of Sati's corpse had fallen here. Its reference is also found in Tantra Chudamani.

I recently visited Bliss Water Park in Mehsana, and it was a day filled with both excitement and disappointment. The park itself is well-maintained and offers a good variety of rides. The wave pool is one of the major highlights — it’s clean, spacious, and gives you the real thrill of ocean waves. Another attraction that stood out was the Crazy River ride, which was total fun and perfect for families and friends looking for an exciting splash. However, my experience was ruined by the food. I had a meal from one of their food stalls, and it was a big letdown. The quality and hygiene seemed questionable. Unfortunately, just a few hours after eating, I started feeling uneasy and later suffered from food poisoning, which spoiled the rest of my trip and the following day as well. While the rides and water attractions are top-notch and worth the visit, the management seriously needs to improve the food quality and hygiene standards. I would recommend bringing your own food if possible or eating outside the park. Overall, Bliss Water Park is great for fun and adventure but fails when it comes to food safety.

The park can easily house 2500 to 3000 people. We went there on a day which was a public holiday, but since there was long weekend, the number of people rhat arrived was less. It is a good water park with around 9-10 rides. Crazy river was one of the best rides. They have a separate children's area. Parking is free. We went there when there was an offer and got food inclusive at 900/-. 200/- was locker charge. 30/- was the charge of 1 photo(soft copy). It has around 9 to 10 big rides. You can easily do all of them without the express ticket. They allow it regular people and one express person. 8:1 ratio. So no real use of express ticket. Also in express ticket only a few Tower rides and crazy river is covered. Children will love the experience.

Had a fantastic time at the water park! The ticket price was totally worth it, especially with lunch included — the food was delicious, fresh, and way better than expected. What truly impressed me was their focus on safety and comfort. The security guards were actively monitoring the gents-only area, ensuring that families could enjoy the pool without any discomfort. There was a well-managed separation between the family zone and the gents’ section, all within the same pool, which made it comfortable and enjoyable for everyone. Nice water activities but there are no lift to climb the high towers that makes you tired soon. Overall great water park in terms of safety, security and enjoyment. Too much rush on weekends so it’s better if u can visit on weekdays. Including food is also of good quality and great taste. We were unable to do all the rides due to rush and towers without lift to climb and timings of river is also very tough to catch, so if you wish to go through the river you need to plan accordingly and wait for some time.

Better experience than other waterpark, specially food is too good and free cool drinking water arrangements everywhere in water park. Best place to get best experience for rides and swimming. Credit goes to good management. Everything is best, one business idea is there of photography in wave pool. Few photographer take photos in camera and ask to take photos from studio which charged INR 30 per photos and it's mandatory to take all photos which is drawback with loosing one star, there should be option to choose photos from taken photos and pay for only choosen photos, everything else is best. 👌🏻

Bliss Aqua Waterpark is a great stop if you're heading towards Ahmedabad from Jodhpur it’s located around 10 km before Mehsana city, right off the highway. Just note that it’s on the opposite side, so you’ll need to take a U-turn about 200 meters ahead. The park has free parking, but the parking area is a bit far (around 200 meters from the entrance), so it’s better to drop your family at the gate first and then park the car. Entry opens at 10 AM. Tickets are available right at the main gate ₹899 for adults and ₹600 for kids below 4 feet. The best part? All tickets include coupons for a free unlimited lunch buffet. The food was decent we had puri, chana masala, rice, dal, and aamras. Just a heads-up, the dal is quite sweet (classic Gujarat style), but everything was fresh and filling. Now coming to the main attraction the rides. There are tons of options for both kids and adults. Many of the adult slides are designed for 2 people, a few for 3–4 people, and some are for solo riders. I’d definitely recommend visiting in a group of at least 2 to make the most of the multi-person slides. The slides are thrilling and on par with what you'd expect in big parks like Imagica. The wave pool is also quite good and adds to the fun.

An amazing monument built before 1000 years is a must visit place for everyone. This temple is a perfect example of extreme engineering and technology before 1k years. The entire campus kept neat and clean. The whole structure was built on sand stones and is located right on the tropic of cancer. Do understand the history of this temple with the help of registerd guide which was available there and will charge 500 Rs per group which is quite reasonable. Overall a must must visit place for every Indian.

As I walked through the temple complex, the symmetry of the grand Surya Kund (stepwell), the intricate carvings on every pillar and wall, and the play of sunlight illuminating the sanctum left me in awe. The temple, aligned perfectly so that the first rays of the sun touch the idol of Surya during equinoxes, reflects the advanced astronomical understanding of that era. Even without the deity now, the spiritual energy of the place is palpable. Surrounded by serene landscapes and the gentle hum of history, Modhera Sun Temple is not just a monument — it’s a poetic fusion of science, devotion, and stone craftsmanship that every traveller should experience. Unfortunately, I could not wait for the late evening light-and-sound show as there was just too much time to wait, too much crowd and too much distance to cover back to Ahmedabad. Also, the weather was super hot! But the show, shot by a tourist is available on YouTube. It is one of the best shows at heritage sites. So, if you plan to visit Modhera, it will be beneficial to visit it around 5 pm giving you enough time to see the temple till the 7pm show. The Sarkari Archaeological Museum here is super sad though!
