Zoom Flume Water Park

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Amusement park
Slides & a wave pool attract thrill-seekers to this park that also features family raft rides.
We went to Zoom Flume July 3rd which was a Thursday. We arrived at 10:15 and had no wait together in. They do check your bags on the way in. We had rented a cabana for the day. The cabana was the best. The locker is a very big locker and we were able to put our waters in the cooler that comes with the cabana. We had cabana 30. It was great. We had an amazing view. The kids area was directly below us. This was awesome as the kids spray water and with the breeze it felt like the cabana was air conditioned. The park itself was good. Grandson enjoyed all slides except for an orange slide that they both said hurt their backs. We did not wait in line more than 15 minutes, but most lines were under 5 minutes. I would go back but would not go without a cabana.

Zoom Flume is a perfect spot for a laid-back, family-friendly day in the water. It’s a smaller park, compared to something like Six Flags, but that’s actually what makes it so enjoyable. The atmosphere is way more relaxed, the prices are better, and you don’t feel overwhelmed by crowds. It’s easy to find seating, and the whole park is clean, well-kept, and safe. The variety of water slides and attractions is just right for families with kids of all ages. The staff is friendly, and everything ran smoothly during our visit. Most importantly, the entry prices are super reasonable, especially if you get the season pass! Zoom Flume offers a fun, no-stress water park experience that’s ideal for a summer day. Highly recommend!
Cara M — Google review
Mostly for the kids , has a fun and enjoyable time. Food and drinks are not allowed I do think it’s unfair since not everyone is willing to eat from there and prefer to take snacks and a meal.
Seema D — Google review
My family and I have the best time here! The park was immaculate, very clean, plenty of restrooms services food etc. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, and the line lines were the rides were short and moved quickly. I had so much fun on the water slides and in the lazy river. You haven’t been yet this summer just go ! The entrance fee is very reasonable as well
Katie M — Google review
This was my first visit here, I'm not a fan of water parks, but we had a great time. The park wasn't crowded and the lines were fairly short. All the staff was friendly and helpful. We alerted a supervisor abouta little girl who had injured her foot, a medic came right away and we saw the girl later running around. I works definitely return and highly recommend coming here at least once per season.
Fred W — Google review
Zoom flume is always a great place to take my kids. We always have fun here plenty of water rides and carnival like foods. Sometimes the staff is on the younger side so their customer service skills are lacking but that is expected with younger kids at summer jobs and is hot, so I get it
Corey B — Google review
I'm not usually one to go to these places so my girlfriend had to drag me here. Immediately after the first ride I was mad that I had to tell her I liked it lol. I had tons of fun some rides are so fun you have to do them multiple times. The lazy river was top tier and the staff and everyone was friendly. It has something for everyone so I will definitely come back and grab a season pass. Thank you for all your hard work to make it a great place.
Jeivan C — Google review
My family and I had a great time at Zoom Flume! The rides were great, the facilities were clean, the staff was friendly, and we really likes the pizza at Mama Jeans. We'll definitely be returning!

Adirondack Animal Land

Temporarily Closed
Zoo
Zoos & Aquariums
A drive-thru African safari, a petting area & prairie dogs are highlights of this 80-acre zoo.
The walk through part is short and sweet. If you go here you should definetley walk through first and finish with the drive through to make it worth it. Gift shop was pretty reasonable pricing but $4 for a cup of feed seems like a lot. Not sure what it used to be like, but from what the other reviews are saying. And from what some of the other people at the park said, it used to be much bigger with more attractions. It was our first time going there and the kids definitely enjoyed the drive through and our son, who is 4 enjoyed feeding the goats and the walk through part . The owners seem overwhelmed and so maybe under new ownership this place can be what it once was. I would recommend it if you've never been
Deric G — Google review
Lions and tigers and bears oh my. Just kidding.... None of the above because driving through that would be ridiculous. But these adorable grain and grass eating animals delight me and my family. Easily spent an hr walking though the caged animals and over 40 minutes driving. Very well worth the $ . I'm happily already planning to go back next summer. Remember all of it is cash only even the gift shop. 😎
Stephanie S — Google review
This place is so off the beaten path it if you can find it, it is worth it! My family had so much fun at the drive through safari feeding all sorts of animals and then loved going inside the park to feed more and see lots of unique creatures that we don't have at our local zoo! Great prices and free parking but be warned- they only take cash.
Kris V — Google review
Beautiful animal park small mini zoo they have everything what you child need. Very friendly stuff clean animals looks happy. Drive true is something special very organized animals welcome you and talk to you they look happy and get used to cars we had a great time kids enjoyed a lot :)
Pavlik M — Google review
The walk through area was mostly goats but they were fun to feed. The drive through area was fun but we ran out of food much too quickly and there was no way to get more.
Phoebe M — Google review
Very cute, small petting zoo type area with some neat animals I have not seen before. You can feed a number of them including kangaroos, goats, giraffes, and llamas. Mostly shadey, not paved. The Safari is the reason I think most come here as the fee is included with admission. You drive your own vehicle through. Heed the warnings you are given. The camels will come directly into your car to steal things. Lol. But they were sweet and let you pet them. There are numerous animals to see along the drive. The path is narrow, however. I would rather it allowed for passing as some people wanted to fly through and we wanted to enjoy each kind of animal. Food cups were $4. No outside food to give the animals. Small gift shop. I would suggest getting there at opening to avoid the crowds.
Sarah S — Google review
What a get experience. Husband got the turkeys to call back. So much fun feeding the goats then drove though the park to see the camel and an ostrich that came up to our car. Would be a great place to bring kids too.
Lydia E — Google review
A short drive from Lake George. Nice place to bring children that love to feed animals, actually all goats. For the Safari Drive, make sure follow the rules/instructions.

Lapland Lake Nordic Vacation Center

Ski resort
Outdoor Activities
Cozy cottages in a Nordic-inspired resort offering cross-country skiing, forested trails & 2 cafes.
What a great day, the rental counter was so easy, we got tips as beginners and the trails were super easy to navigate. The food truck and Cafe there is such a plus. Bathrooms were clean and warm. We didn't stay over, but I bet the rooms were amazing based on the rest of the experience.

This is our home away from home! We love coming here! Kathy and Paul are amazing! They have everything you need and more! Kathy and Paul do an amazing job at keeping the tupas clean and stocked with all the necessities and make it really feel like we're at home! Very family friendly! This is the best affordable vacation if you want to relax and have fun!

Get away, Unplug, and relax! Lapland is such a beautiful spot. No wonder people keep coming back year after year. My husband's family has been coming here for decades and we started bringing our children. Summer time fun doesn't get any better than this. Hiking, kayaking, swimming, wood stove sauna, campfires, critter catching, it's all here. The staff is so welcoming. Our kids are hooked. We will definitely try out a winter stay sometime too.
Jackiee L — Google review
We love this place and come every year. The natural scenery is stunning, and the owners keep the trails in excellent condition. The food is good, and the lounge, with its cozy fireplace and friendly cat, is incredibly welcoming. Both the staff and visitors are kind and friendly, making for a wonderful atmosphere. It’s a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the snow.
Kate G — Google review
I've been skiing here since the '80's and now my kids visit more often than me - it's been and continues to be an absolute gem of an experience every time we ski here. The trail grooming, the snow, the service - all are stellar - you will never forget your experience!
Steve S — Google review
Great, remote, quiet, and private! Peaceful nature resort with its own private lake. Our families have come here for 30+ years.
Ronald R — Google review
This is a charming, family run cross country ski center, on a beautiful property. I have visited twice. My first time I stayed in a cabin that we absolutely adored. I think it was my favorite cabin ever. Rustic, yet comfy and well designed, I absolutely loved the kitchen space and cooking meals here. This is the cabin that is right across from the ski lodge and a bonus is you get to see the groomer going out and skiers on the trail. You can certainly have a great visit staying off the property too, but the cabins are really special. The cross country ski instructor was really great, he did challenge us to improve our skills and we were really better for it. The ski trails are very well groomed, the whole property is well cared for. I do find the topography here to be slightly better suited to advanced beginners and up especially if conditions are icy. One really special feature is the snowshoe trail. It leads through the woods out to the lake over tiny bridges. It's good to have a trail on snowshoes. I really enjoyed my hike and it let me see some advanced trails I would not get to on skis. My friend participated in a clinic for skate skiing, and thought the instruction was top notch. The lodge has a ski shop, a lounge area with a fireplace, and up the stairs is the cafe area which has a great amount of space and lots of light from big windows. The sell sandwiches and soups and baked goods. I thought the red pepper gouda soup was delicious. You can also bring your own food. I also think this would be a lovely place to visit in summer, especially if you swim at the lake.
Suzanne G — Google review
Wonderful 4 night stay at Lapland Lake! The snow was great and the trails beautiful. Enjoyed the wood stove in our tupa….nice and toasty even though the temperature outside was quite cold. Thanks so much for a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Wish we were closer and we would have a season pass for sure!

Secret Caverns

Nature & Parks
Caverns & Caves
Geologic Formations
Naturally formed caverns with waterfalls 100 ft. below ground, various formations & fossils.
Truly awesome natural landmark. Secret Caverns is smaller and less "touristy" than Howe Caverns nearby and offers a different vibe that I personally preferred. It's located on a beautiful, secluded piece of land and the caves themselves have very little man-made alterations besides the walkways. Our tour guide was funny and entertaining, and we enjoyed our visit. The cave is very cool, and the waterfall at the end is breathtaking and caps off the tour nicely. We drove from CT to see both Secret and Howe, and I'm very glad we did both. I highly recommend.
Tyler S — Google review
I went over the labor weekend with my family to celebrate my birthday. It’s a cool experience to see the natural cave with underground water falls. The Wait was not bad and staff are really friendly. Also in the meantime if you need to wait there is a lake where you could have an amazing picnic or even relax. Big parking lot and easy to find the place. There are souvenirs and beverages for sale.
Jerry N — Google review
Tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Recommend wearing sneakers. Gift shop had lots of interesting things. Tickets were only available on-site when we went. Cash only.
Shirley G — Google review
We loved it! We have been to Howe several times. I am so glad we finally went to Secret Caverns. It was the best!!! I highly recommend it. It is reasonable and the cave has been minimally modified to accommodate guests. Absolutely beautiful.
Sharon F — Google review
Located in the Schoharie Valley of New York State, Secret Caverns offers an unforgettable journey 100 feet below the surface to explore a unique underground world. As you descend, you'll walk through a narrow, winding passageway that opens into massive rooms filled with impressive geological formations. The cavern's highlight is a beautiful, 40-foot waterfall—a rare feature in a dry cave—that feeds into a pristine underground lake. For travelers looking for a quirky, off-the-beaten-path adventure, this natural wonder provides a fascinating look at ancient rock and mineral structures.
Huri Ö — Google review
This was a great experience. The guide was funny and knowledgeable. Each group is just the right size. The tour lasts about an hour. There is some steep climbing and narrow passageways involved, but that of course is to be expected. The underground waterfall is really fascinating.
Madhavan K — Google review
A fun spot, cool cave, and interesting history. 100 foot waterfall inside! Our guide was very friendly and informative.
Bob S — Google review
Enjoyed my cave tour! The atmosphere was great and the waterfall was so cool. Not as tall as Ruby Falls but they actually give you time to take pictures and enjoy it. They also let me carry my well behaved dog :)

Howe Caverns

Mentioned on
3 lists
$$$$affordable
Nature & Parks
Caverns & Caves
Howe Caverns is an underground wonder featuring unique limestone formations, a lake, and guided tours. The cavern was discovered when Lester Howe noticed cold air blowing up from the ground where his cow stood in a neighbor's pasture. Visitors can easily purchase tickets online for tours and explore the gift shop for souvenirs. It's recommended to dress warmly as it gets chilly down there. The experience is highly recommended for families with kids who love rocks and caves.
An easy one hour drive from Albany that's worth the visit. We went on a weekday and arrived for the 11am tour. The parking lot had a lot of available spots. It was almost fully booked. Purchase your tickets online there or beforehand for the 90 min tour. I suggest going on a tour with less people. Our group was a bit loud. The tour includes stairs, wet floors, and you'll need good knees for getting in and out of the boat. Bring a jacket along and watch your heads. This was a really good tour and we really enjoyed the gondola boat ride on the small river inside the cave and the tight walkways of the Winding Way at the end. There's a nice cafe, gift shop, and sweet shop inside the lodge. We grabbed a quick coffee and breakfast sandwich before our tour. The girl who works there was super nice.
Sharon B — Google review
An unforgettable underground adventure! Visiting Howe Caverns was such an amazing experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making the tour both fun and educational. The caverns themselves are absolutely breathtaking — the rock formations, underground river, and the boat ride were all highlights. Everything was well-organized, clean, and safe, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re coming from New York City, the drive alone is worth it — you get to experience the beautiful, peaceful countryside of upstate New York with rolling hills and scenic views all along the way. It’s the perfect escape from the city and a wonderful way to enjoy nature. It’s a perfect trip for families, couples, or anyone who loves nature and adventure. I’d definitely recommend bringing a jacket since it’s cool underground. I can’t wait to go back again — it truly feels like stepping into another world!
Arwinder K — Google review
I was extremely pleased with Howes Caverns. The property was immaculate. They had a nice gift shop and café along with fudge and cheese shop. Restrooms were clean as well. Now the caverns experience going down more than 150 feet and seeing the beauty within the cave was awesome. The only thing about the boat ride I can say is that I wish it was longer lol. Also, it is a perfect attraction because it's not to long to take up your entire day and it's just long enough that you feel satisfied with the time you did spend there. I am planning to come back in the summer time to experience the adventure tour which is only open in the summer (might be spring as well, don't quote me). I recommend this place.
Ricky R — Google review
We stayed for a night at the Howe Caverns Motel and took the cave tour the next morning — it turned out to be a fun and memorable getaway. The motel was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a great view of the surrounding valley and hills. It’s not fancy, but it’s exactly what you want for a peaceful overnight stay before the tour. The staff were friendly and check-in was easy. The next morning we joined the 90-minute cave tour, which was the highlight of the trip. The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining, and the experience itself was fascinating — walking through illuminated passageways, seeing impressive rock formations, and even taking a short underground boat ride. The temperature stays around 52 degrees year-round, so a light jacket and good shoes are a must. Staying right on-site made it easy to take our time and enjoy the experience without rushing. It’s a great stop for families or anyone looking for something unique and a little adventurous. We’d definitely do it again.
Charles M — Google review
To this day, this is the most beautiful and largest cave I have ever visited! 🌿 My family really enjoyed it here. The atmosphere is breathtaking, and the boat ride was simply amazing — truly unforgettable! 💫 I will definitely recommend this place to my friends, and of course, we will come back again whenever possible. Thank you for such wonderful emotions!
Iryna S — Google review
We loved the caves. It was a little cool but not too cold. I have balance problems from time to time and many areas had hand rails but some did not. I wish some areas had rails to hold on to because you're not allowed to touch the walls. I completely understand but I needed them. It can be dark in spots which made balance more difficult for me personally. Other customers allowed me to hold their shoulders. Lol. Overall, This is a great place to visit.
D B — Google review
We enjoyed our tour of the caverns! I forget our tour guides name but she had a fabulously dry yet funny and charming personality. Most importantly she gave great information on the history of the caverns. We had two adults and three kids in our group (ages 6-9) and they all had a great time.
Christy W — Google review
Cool place. Tours feel a bit like a grade school field trip, but it’s the only way to see it. Interesting info and definitely cool to be in an underground cave. The winding part at the end of the tour was my favorite… go in even if you think you’ll be scared. I don’t like tight spaces and I would have been disappointed if I didn’t do it. It was the best part to me. You only have to go through it once and there’s an open space tunnel to get back out.

Fort Stanwix National Monument

Monument
Sights & Landmarks
Colonial fort first built in the 1750s to guard a key trading route, with museum tours & monuments.
Really nice National Monument. We enjoyed our stop at this location. Parking is alongside the road, no actually parking lot. Thankfully, we arrived right when they opened, so there was plenty of roadside parking since our truck and camper took up three parking spots. We enjoyed our walk around and through the fort. There were people in some of the rooms which was cool, but also startled us, because we didn't think they would be there. It was a nice place to walk our dog, as the fort is dog friendly. Make this a stop, there is a lot of history, and its an enjoyable, clean place.
Kate J — Google review
Nice welcome center with interesting information and history on the fort and the wars fought in the area. Gift shop and bathrooms. Interactive events throughout the day would be good to check schedule before going so you don't miss anything.
Cathy S — Google review
Fort Stanwix is a great place to visit. The fort is rebuilt just like it was long ago. You can walk around and see how soldiers lived. The people who work there are very friendly and tell good stories. It's a nice place for a quick trip and you learn a lot about history. There are plenty of free parking spaces along the road.
Asiri B — Google review
Great experience. Learn about the importance of Fort Stanwix during the American Revolution - Enter the fort and step back in time to 1758 . Learn history in a very entertaining way. Free Parking, no entrance fee. Gift shop. Friendly staff. Motion activated videos to learn more about the Fort and the heroes who lived there.
Tillie K — Google review
Less han an hour before the Visitor center closed. Got my Souvenirs. Was able to watch all the movies and see the exhibits before touring the grounds. I would recommend perhaps 2 hours though. I saw everything but I did rush it a bit. More time would have been better. Fantastic Rangers!
Landon M — Google review
The Rangers in the welcome center explained so much in 10mins, and I’m already planning to stay overnight so I can actually soak it all in. Such an important part of the revolutionary war, in Oneida country, and they built a town over the site, then razed that section down, then rebuilt it to blueprints from 1750s - and when you go in, it’s far more impressive than you thought it’d be!!! The welcome center is full of fun souvenirs but also great books and the passport to get stamped!
Josh A — Google review
Dog friendly everywhere except for the visitor center. This was fantastic!!! We were lucky enough to watch displays put on by the Native American community. Staff did a great job of presenting information on how things were back in the day. Don’t forget to ask a Ranger how to get your pup a B.A.R.K. badge!
S S — Google review
I was very impressed. The staff were enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The fort was immersive with lots of rooms open and informative displays. The visitor center was well laid out with a nice series of videos to connect everything together as well as a decent amount of artifacts. I'd say give yourself an hour and a half for your visit. My main complaint is that there is no dedicated parking lot (I think your best option is street parking near the visitor center). Also, the fort isn't nestled in the woods but rather surrounded by the businesses and city streets of downtown Rome, NY. It's only ten to fifteen minutes from I-90, so if you're looking for something to break up your drive across upstate New York, this is a great stop.

Sylvan Beach Amusement Park

Amusement park
Water & Amusement Parks
Small, retro fun park offers family rides, bumper cars/boats, mini-golf, carousel & carnival treats.
This is such a nice area of NY State. I spent a few days in the area and took part in a ghost hunt - super fun! At night, the rides sure seemed spooky. There are a few cool restaurants too, I'll be back again, for sure.
Theresa J — Google review
The day I went to Sylvan Beach it was a nice sunny day and it was a boat sale going on. It's a fun place if you enjoy rides and walking around eating ice cream or food at a local restaurant. The beach was closed that day. At night coming across the bridge you will see all the lights that light up the bridge. Lots of areas for cooking out and family fun. Sylvan Beach is an old beach that's part of a small town but it has been well maintained over the years. I took photos, however because of people's privacy I won't share photos.

I go to the carousel arcade I personally know the owners and they are the most amazing nicest people you would ever meet one was also my teacher growing up, but I’m being honest there is so many games to choose from all the machines are maintained amazing in there and even did some work to fix the place the rest of the outside places are…questionable some that are not owned by them that are outside there arcade in other areas don’t work or are falling apart with some buildings but still a blast to go look around and test the rides are all maintained tho so those are always good for kids and any small ones you have but despite some looks and broken games around the town that’s not operated by the carousel arcade the staff are all friendly and have good attitudes at least the young people working there anyway but it’s a good time regardless spend 5$ spend 10$ it doesn’t matter you’ll have fun

I think we spent all summer here this year. Definitely going to look in to getting season passes for next year. If you're not swimming, then relax on the beach, or go fishing, or ride rides, or play games, or go to the playground or eat..there's always enough to do in this tiny park. And then right outside of it as well either shops, bars, candy stores, wine slushies, ice cream stands and gift shops. It's free to enter, but $10 to park, if you park inside the amusement park/Beach.

I’m giving this a 3 pros: Beach- is good the sand and the water feels nice for sure and the nostalgia vibes Kahunas -ice cream food is good and games are fun just needs better prizes where the carellos is the crane games are rigged as always the other games r fun like the ticket spinner and the ball games Laffland-was awesome it’s very dark but cute Sylvan store and play ground- were cute loves the new playground eddie’s the places you can stay there and the spaghetti house. However some other restaurants r pricey I was happy to see the spaghetti house back up and running after they had that fire. Playland-is nice too staff were friendly Little kids rides -were cute Rock garden- I thought whoever made that did a great job that was cute!! Cons: *Prizes at carellos -are junk crane games always rigged everywhere you go other games like fish spinning game for tickets there r nice however * Bigkid rides are outdated- don’t get me wrong I love the nostalgia but lots ofspider webs surrrounded some rides before getting on and off paint could be done and new rides the Himalaya was dangerous I almost fell like I was gonna fall out with my fam on it. The guy running it told me and my sister to fit three and one bad idea with my niece as the little should’ve sat in middle was not cool the music was nice *Better tip tho for new ride in future ->The music express is way better than the Himalayas because it goes forward and backwards that Himalaya is one really really outdated way too fast, dangerous *Now some foods / parking and leaving park like hersheys ice cream and paying to park is another issue!! Like who wants to pay $12 to park at a beach on the weekend and $10 not to bad but on the weekdays for a beach come on that’s just asking us for more $$ to park on a weekday like that’s crazy it’s not like you’re going to an actual state park where you pay for parking you shouldn’t have to pay for parking at all at Sylvan Beach not to mention when you go out over where the bridge is taking a left that needs a light there because there’s lots of accidents that happened over there and people can get injured going out because there’s no light or stop sign so thank God there’s another way to go out of there instead of going left It just needs some fixing *Treasureland was closed I wanted to see that *Bees were everywhere it wasn’t good *Bathrooms- my sister said the ladies room was terrible near the roller coaster

If you want to enjoy an old school theme park by the lake take the time to visit. 8 29 2024 Still loving the old school theme park. Everyone is so friendly. Erie Canal Museum

History museum
The Erie Canal Museum, located in Syracuse, New York, is housed in the only remaining weighlock building and offers a deep dive into the history and impact of the canal system. This historic waterway, completed in 1825, played a crucial role in connecting New York City to the Great Lakes region. The museum showcases the engineering marvel of the canal and its significance in American history. Visitors can explore exhibitions that illustrate the experiences, ideas, and natural beauty that have shaped the country.
Housed in the actual historic building that weighed the boats and cargo. You will learn a very good general history of the Erie Canal. If you like to read everything, it will take you 2-2.5 hours to go through the whole museum🤓 (start with the bottom floor). Also, they have two hour free parking! It is in the government employee lot across Erie Boulevard (entrance from James Street). Look in my posted pictures for the signs to look out for🙂

This was a fantastic experience, I am so glad that they are one of the museums that are open on a Tuesday in Syracuse. The person at the front desk was knowledgeable, she greeted me right away, and she answered any questions that I had. She was very welcoming and made sure that I had a great time. What a wealth of knowledge, artifacts, and art you have there. For someone that works in the museum world it was definitely a pleasure to stop at this museum. You should not overlook this fantastic place.

Great well-curated museum with extensive exhibits on Syracuse and the Erie Canal. The staff were incredibly friendly and were eager to answer any questions I had. This is also a stamp location for the Erie Canalway National Herritage Corridor.

A great little museum filled with interesting facts on the life & times of the canal. We were welcomed y friendly helpful staff. Well worth a visit.

This place doesn't excellent job at hosting schools for field trips. They do have on hand learning hunts that are available. However, we made our own escape room hunt for our students. It took them just over 2 hours to do for middle school and they absolutely loved that all the exhibits were hands-on for them. The best part was that they could go on to the barge and they really enjoyed being able to complete the activities at different exhibits. Bringing them back next year.

Great museum if you are interested in learning about the Erie Canal and life of the people who worked/lived there. I loved all of the history and culture, learning about this mode of transportation while gleaning a little insight on Syracuse NY.

With more than 250 shops and outlets to explore, you’ll find everything from trendy boutiques to well-known brands. This place is huge. Way back in 2016 I came here for my 1st visit as a tourist with a bunch of friends on a road trip we were on together. We all had a blast. There are tons of awesome experiences to be had here. I had a lot of fun engaging with various attractions like Wonderworks, Glowgolf/Minigolf, the Mirror maze, and more. I also remember going into a candy store that had oversized nerds boxes in addition to other bulk items. After eating lunch in the food court later on I ate dinner at this nice dine in restaurant that has a bar in it but I can’t remember the name of it. All I know is that there are plenty of options if you want to get a bite to eat. I never got to experience the movie theater nor half the shops that exist here but I got my fill. I came back here for a 2nd time a couple years ago with someone who is near and dear to me. We had a great time. I took a couple of pictures of the view from one of the higher floors to capture what it felt like to be there both during the day and after sunset. See for yourself!

This place was cool!! Everything was pretty pricey, but I'm learning that's the new mall experience as the malls near me are dying. I didn't buy anything, but spent 2hrs there just soaking it in. It was nice to see a mall so lively. And more than just shops! Interactive zoo, bowling alley, movies, tree trek... just cool! The carousel was great!!! Only $2!

If you get there before noon it's an enjoyable walk with almost no lines, after lunch it packed up quick (in August 2025) ... There's so much to do here I highly suggest you look up the app and create a plan ... And wear comfortable shoes! Have fun

First time visiting Syracuse. Didn't realize there was such a huge mall in the area. We was impressed at the size and the amount of tenants that was keeping the place full. It felt like it riveled the size of the Mall of America. It took us a few hours or so to walk the entire thing. Enjoyed taking the glass elevators for sure. The tunnel with all the lights was pretty cool as well.
Brian D — Google review
Nice big mall... lots of entertainment for kids. lot of variety in food court. we visited from Canada over the weekend to Syracuse and destiny mall was in the list. however lot of shops were closed and the mall seemed to be different because of that... worth the visit.

Destiny USA offers only three levels of 6 with diverse stores and fantastic kid-friendly entertainment, including a petting zoo, arcades, waterworks, and a carousel. The only downside is that some elevators and escalators are currently out of order.

The Rosamond Gifford Zoo, located in Burnet Park, spans 43 acres and is home to over 700 animals, including endangered species like Asian elephants, Amur tigers, snow leopards, Humboldt penguins, and a giant Pacific octopus. The zoo offers both indoor and outdoor exhibits as well as special events and educational programs for all ages.
This is an awesome zoo. The animals seem well taken care of, their enclosures are clean and vibrant. You can see the whole zoo in about 2 hours. There are random shows throughout the day and staff placed around the zoo with props to show and tell the kids some fun facts about specific animals. Noticed they have a saranac booth set up w snacks now near the elephants. Great place for the family.
Jessica F — Google review
An excellent small zoo. Not a huge number of animals, but some really interesting one that I've not seen in other zoos. Aside from the buildings with animal displays, there is also a series of freshly paved walking paths to outdoor exhibitions. Some of these paths are on fairly steep hills. At some of the outdoor displays there are very nice observation platforms with shade. Unlikely that we'll be back due to its location (4 hours away), but it was well worth the trip
Steve K — Google review
Had a great time we got there early enough to see all the animals out and active as they were waiting for their lunch, as we walked around for a second time we noticed some animals tucked them selves away, or were able to see some sleeping such as the bear. He was so cute sleeping !
Amanda — Google review
Went the day after Halloween when the zoo feeds the leftover pumpkins to the animals and it was wonderful! But even going when there isn't an event us a great experience. Personally I prefer going in the Fall/Winter because the animals are so lively and energetic - plus far fewer crowds than Sping/Summer. It's not terribly big, but kids will stay engaged for a good 1.5 hours. Definitely visit!
Ashley O — Google review
Very nice Zoo with an amazing conference center for businesses. You can leisurely walk the loop to see all the outside animals (including elephants!) And there's an inside aquarium walk through with a bird sanctuary.

Such a lovely time to bond with our family! Very convenient. It felt like a far trip while being really close to home. My kids love it everytime we go.
Jamie L — Google review
The variety of animals seem very content and well provided for! Very interactive experience, and the distance in between outdoor exhibits gives you plenty of time for snack/water breaks. The twin baby elephants were a super bonus for our zoo experience.

My granddaughter was visiting from Charlotte NC and her grandfather took her to this zoo. She had such a wonderful and memorable experience I am sure one she won't forget. There was so many animals and exhibits to see. Her grandfather was amazed at how little the animals smelled something you would normally expect. There were plenty of places to sit along the way. The ticket prices were so cheap for the experience it amazed us. When she and my daughter move back to NY this will definitely be our go to place. ❤

The park boasts several waterfalls including the famous Cowsheds Falls, which cascades about 37 feet. Visitors can explore different waterfall trails such as the Gorge Trail and North or South Rim Trail to enjoy stunning views of rocky cliffs and lush vegetation.
Very family friendly.. there is a play ground with picnic tables . Pavilion wheelchair accessible with lots of tables. volleyball net .the swimming area is closed for repairs. Bathrooms very clean .Trails are very well marked . Views are amazing ! Picnic areas along trails with storm shelters .

Filmore Glenn State Park is a well-maintained park with good staff, costing $8 to enter. It features a great pavilion, swimming, and camping areas. I chose the recommended 1.5-mile Gorge Trail for a scenic hike, but it was cut short by a hazardous, out-of-order bridge; a warning sign at the trailhead would have been appreciated. The park also hosts weddings, with restrooms and another pavilion visible from the Gorge Trail. Overall, it was a good mid-day hike experience.
Ryan K — Google review
The trails and waterfalls are beautiful. Well worth a bit of hiking. The road to the upper area is extremely rough so be warned. The Cowshed Falls are a must see. The camping is open field right on top of each other at the road's edge.

Gorge trail was awesome, both rim trails were very scenic. All trails were well maintained. South rim was moderate hike. North rim from entrance is a steep hike up stairs to start then nice trail after. Also appreciate all the tables and benches along the rim trails especially right at the top of both rim trails. Perfect resting spot after the climbs.

Nature's wonderful spot, there's tables & some grills first comes get them 😁, bathrooms n showers, nice playground, 1 hoop but it's located in the parking lot, usually people don't park near, there's camping sites available, there's long & multiple trails to choose, the trails are not leveled, some stairs in areas, multiple wooden bridges, stunning views, you will connect with nature, 1 of the trails you walk most of the time by the water, is so relaxing 😌, they have a seasonal natural pool, no chlorine or stagnant water, with a designated area to jump in while the lifeguards are on watch, is truly a gem, make sure to bring trash bags with you to keep clean this amazing place. There's a small fee for cars. 1 volleyball net.

Fillmore Glen State Park is a very nice state park. The best part of the park is hiking the gorge trail. It has beautiful scenery, picturesque waterfalls, and is nice and cool on a summer day. The gorge trail is a moderate hike, with few challenging spots. If you are just hiking the gorge trail it is a 2.5 mile out and back hike. The trails around the gorge are nice, but don’t offer the same beauty that the gorge trail does. Compared to other similar NY State Parks like Watkins Glen, this trail is easy and much less crowded. Parking here for day use is easy. There are campsites in the park and they looked nice. Add this hike to the list of the most gorgeous places in Central New York.

This winery has an amazing view facing the Finger Lakes with a patio to sit, drink, eat and relax . It was my first time vising a vineyard, and I was impress, Beautifully manicured garden and a Relaxing Gazebo seating area to taste the local family owned wine. I had such a beautiful experience just walking through the grapevines and just tasting a few, from right off the vine.

The property and views are great. The sweet Riesling was my favorite, the reds I tried were pretty good.

Anyela's Vineyard is the gem of Vineyards in Skaneateles! It is also the only one I am aware of given the high cost of land in the area. This large vineyard offers some great views, a nice facility and the best reds I have ever had in New York State! All of the (4) reds I tried were amazing and unique. The whites were a hit a well and on par or better than most others in the region. We came at an off peak time of year, but we can see how this location would be packed during prime season. They have a jazz festival with attracts thousands of visitors each year. There is a specialty room (lower level accessed from outside) which is available for parties. Carter was our wine expert on our visit. From the area and knowledgeable not only about the winery but the lake and geography of the area as well. Who knew it is the finger lake at the highest elevation and boasts some of the cleanest water in the United States. He added interesting insight to our experience. We will return again! HINT: If you are looking for an excuse to visit the area (Summer concerts and live music along with a Charles Dickenson Christmas Carol events during the weekend (the later in town). The area is beautiful and somewhere worthy of checking out!

This is my go to place when I want clarity and peace of mind!! Walking the 3 mile trail especially now that they replaced all the wood on the boardwalk, it's absolutely beautiful. The fresh air, the different kinds of trees. Just taking it all in. Ohhh n the main building inside is nice too. Clean restrooms, a bird watching enclosed area, a book store. Great place to spend a day at!!

I used to come here as a kid and this was my first time in maybe 20 years. I hiked the bog trail and it was beautiful. I thought it was really neat that there were pitcher plants growing wild along the trail. Just on a short walk I saw a kingfisher, redwing blackbird, woodpecker, and maybe 10 chipmunks, not bad for such a short trail. I also appreciate that they are trying to keep it natural and don’t allow dogs (I love dogs just not on nature trails). Signage was good. The trails were clear, clean (no litter) and quiet even though the place seemed very busy!

Lots of interesting paths and plants; some paths have informational signs and some have benches. There is a raised viewing platform (with stairs) along one path. Not sure how handicap-friendly the paths are. Saw few animals, but my companion has seen some on prior visits. Nice staff at main building. Fort Ontario State Historic Site, a remarkable 19th-century star-shaped fort, is perched on the east bank of the Oswego River and offers stunning views of Lake Ontario. This historic site stands where three previous forts were built and destroyed between 1755 and 1840. Visitors can embark on a self-guided tour to explore various structures such as the Officers Quarters, Powder Magazine, Men's Barracks, Storeroom, guardhouses, and underground artillery casements.
My family is in New York for a week vacation and we toured Fort Ontario. It’s a wonderful place to take your family or even go for a solo visit. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. This historical site is clean and well maintained. They have interactive iPads to provide more information and fun facts.

Fort Ontario is a unique star shaped fort located in Oswego, NY. The original fort was constructed in 1755. The fort was the site of many battles in many wars including the French and Indian War, American Revolution, and the War of 1812. The fort would continue to be used as a military base of sorts all the way until the end of WW2. During WW2 the fort took in nearly 1,000 refugees who were escaping the Holocaust. Today, the fort is a New York State Historic Site. For a small fee you can take a self-guided tour of the fort. The fort has a small, but interesting museum on its history through the years. After seeing the museum you can walk around the star shaped fort and visit nearly all of its buildings. The houses and barracks in the fort are well preserved and presented as they would’ve looked in the mid-19th century. The fort has very knowledgeable historical reenactors as well. On top of the well presented history, the fort also offers great views of Lake Ontario. Near the fort on Lake Ontario you can also see a historic lighthouse. Views of parts of the city of Oswego are also possible at the fort. Overall, this is a great historic site to visit. The history here is well presented in an engaging manner. Being able to walk around the fort with its nice views is an added bonus. The fort is an awesome place to visit in Oswego

If you like history this is a wonderful place to visit. I've been there several times, they dress in period clothes, host reenactments, share the early American historical facts as our country was shaping. The Harriet Tubman Home Museum is the former residence of a renowned abolitionist who was born into slavery but later became an activist. She rescued numerous enslaved individuals through her involvement in the Underground Railroad, with 70 people being freed under her leadership across 13 missions. The museum offers an intriguing insight into this important aspect of American history and is a must-see for anyone interested in learning about the struggles faced by slaves and those fighting for their freedom.
I didn't get to take the tour, but just seeing it and walking around the grounds was magical. My service dog was welcomed. The docent was very considerate, speaking clearly and using hand signs for numbers as I am deaf.

This was a wonderful soul storing moment. Being able to walk into the past in the present felt really surreal. I grew up in Mississippi with an abundance of stories about Harriet Tubman. I was honored and humbled , by my visit to her house. The rich legacy of her house and all that it represented. I definitely plan to return once her house is renovated.

Oh my goodness, the tour guide could have his one man show! Very entertaining and such a great informational tour. The first hour is the guide, Paul, telling us about Harriet’s life. In his words, “a home without a story is just a building”. After the story telling, we saw the inside of the Home for the Aged and walked the property. It was a great time! Well worth the visit! I also, a white middle aged woman learned a lot about the PC words to use.

The tour is 100% worth a stop! Rev. Paul tells the true story of Harriet's life and the importance of preserving her story and legacy. History classes do not teach her full story and it deserves to be told!

I can only echo what others have already said! Paul is truly a one man show, I enjoyed every minute he guarantees that everyone will learn something that you didn’t know, and that is for absolute certain ! Just be sure to call ahead and reserve your tour time because you don’t want to miss it ! (Tours start at 10 am and 2 pm, you should look at the website for more info)

Words cannot adequately describe how wonderful this experience was. Highly recommend. Paul is a fantastic storyteller and walks you through her amazing life. Allow time to thoroughly enjoy this. His presentation and then the walk through of the home took approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours and it was worth it. I learned so much and the space felt very honoring. Taughannock Falls State Park is a must-visit destination with its impressive 215-foot waterfall and miles of picturesque hiking trails. The park offers various outdoor activities including camping, beach swimming, fishing, and winter sports. Nearby attractions such as Finger Lakes National Forest, Buttermilk Falls State Park, and Robert H. Treman State Park provide additional opportunities for outdoor recreation and natural beauty.
In my road trip exploring upstate New York I decided to stop by Taugannock Falls. I saw pictures online and it looked pretty cool so I told myself I'll stop by. I was not ready for how absolutely stunning this park is. Walking to the falls itself is quite easy and the whole way there you have a breathtaking view of the mighty gorge. I was essentially looking at a wall of rock hundreds of feet high. It was stunning to see such a site especially in the northeast. Usually something like this is out in Utah or Arizona. I got to the end of the trail and was absolutely in awe of how beautiful the landscape was. The falls itself was stunning albeit not a lot of water was falling when I visited. But just being surrounded by natural walls hundreds of feet high was magical. It makes you really appreciate mother nature. Don't forget to drive a quick few minutes to the upper view! It's a minute walk to the vantage point from the parking lot and is just as striking!

This is a dramatically scenic set of trails! We hiked the Rim Trail and enjoyed spectacular views of the gorge and the falls. Be prepared for a challenging walk with a lot of elevation change. We did the Rim Trail clockwise, but the park actually advises going counter-clockwise for a more gradual climb. We learned why the hard way: the start of the clockwise route is a very steep rise with lots of steps. Trust the park's advice—it would have been less effort to hike it the recommended way! A quick note: we couldn't hike the Gorge Trail because it closes mid-October, so keep that in mind when planning your visit. The Rim Trail itself is well-marked and fenced, so there's no danger of accidentally getting near the edge. Overall, the views are truly stunning and worth the effort.

This is a wonderful place to get outside and enjoy a hike. The views of the waterfall are magnificent. It was well worth the three hour drive to get there. Another natural wonder in New York State has been crossed of my bucket list! Yeah! 😃😊

This is a great place to visit! It is a beautiful easy hike thru a wide gorge to the waterfall! And yes, you can explore the bottom of the gorge along the way! Popular hike, so best to go off peak times! There is also a nice, quiet hike along the rim. Part of it is fenced off at the rim for safety. There are several views of the gorge below. You can park at the gorge entrance (bathroom across the street) or along the rim at a waterfall view point (bathroom).

Nice place for hiking or walking with kids. Trial to the falls are very easy and flat. Prapobly you need about one hour to complete the hiking, depending on your speed. But is worth it falls on the end are very nice. When I was there water level was pretty low. Will be even better when we get much more water flow.

This park has some nice trails. One of the trails leads to a gorgeous, tall waterfall that is an easy hike. There is an overlook of the falls that you can drive to. There is a small gift shop that dis not have power when we arrived so we couldn't buy a souvenir. That was sad but overall, it was a great day.
Christine G — Google review
Magnificent hike!!! If you have 2 hours, do the full loop that goes around the back of the 215 main falls. There is even more gorge and another lovely waterfall- incredible. (You need to be able to hike stairs.)

Taughannock Falls State Park, near Ithaca in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York, is home to a magnificent waterfall that plunges 215 feet—making it one of the highest east of the Rockies. For travelers, the Gorge Trail offers an easy, accessible half-mile walk that leads directly to the breathtaking falls overlook, perfect for all skill levels. Alternatively, the North Rim Trail provides spectacular, elevated views of both the gorge and the falls from above. Don't forget to explore the park's other amenities, including swimming, picnicking, and access to Cayuga Lake. Parking fee:10$ Entrance: free

Additionally, the lake serves as a picturesque setting for special events like weddings, where couples can exchange vows on the dock at Steamboat Landing surrounded by the lake's natural beauty.
Boating on this lake is so fun. Calm and tranquil.

Lovely Finger Lake with lots to do and see. Seneca Falls, Waterloo, and Geneva are charming, as are the homes, vineyards, and farms surrounding the lake. We visited wineries, local dairies (cheese tastings were fabulous), Mackenzie Childs, and enjoyed Cayuga Lake State Park. Boating, Swimming, and fishing are available there.

This charming winery boasts a welcoming atmosphere where you can savor classic red wines alongside an array of fruit-infused options. The best part? No reservations are needed, making it the perfect spot to bring along your family and furry friends.
When I was looking for wineries to visit on my weekend upstate, Silver Springs winery was highly recommended and as soon as I saw the pictures of Bob Marley I knew I was in the right place! What a beautiful, no fuss, family ran winery. Shoutout to Kimmy and Linda for the best service, they were dealing with a huge wave of people when we came in and still ensured that we had a really personable, quality tasting. I ended up leaving there with a box of several different wines— that’s how amazing the flavors are, and if you’re anything like me you’ll have a hard time deciding lol. And big thank you to the Don Gio for chatting with us about his experiences in our home country Jamaica. 10/10, would absolutely recommend and I hope I get to visit again!

Don and Kimmy were so friendly and they didn’t push their product on us. The wine here is incredible. We walked away with 3 bottles. Worth every penny. The scenery was also so beautiful to look at while sipping on our glass of wine.

Great experience at Silver Springs Winery! We did a tasting with a larger group and Don himself helped us. Very great working with everyone’s different palates and great conversation!

Absolutely gorgeous building with passionate staff and a unique culture. They have some awesome wine and take you through an in depth wine tasting providing history on each wine. Linda was amazing. We are taking home some unique wines we can’t wait to share with friends - great stop on the Seneca Trail.

When you have a choice of 800 wineries in the area I couldn't be happier I stopped here. The vibe was amazing. The wine was even better! Our server Caitlyn made the entire experience better. Cannot recommend enough, definitely left with a couple bottles!

Had a wonderful experience here. Owner's daughter (give me I don't remember her name) was a gem. She took a lot of time with us and showed us such hospitality. She was great with explaining The wines in the atmosphere was very welcoming without feeling stuffy. Pat and Ludwig PS we encouraged some guests here at Magnolia to be sure to stop in. And I was in touch with girlfriend who came with me in 2019 and she told me she just ordered 4 bottles of wine from ya

Nestled in the Finger Lakes region, del Lago Resort & Casino offers a convenient location just nine miles from Seneca Falls. The resort provides easy access to historical sites and a charming downtown area. With vintage architecture and exquisite decor, the inn exudes an inviting atmosphere that instantly transports guests back in time. The wrap-around porch is adorned with blooming flowers, creating a tranquil ambiance complemented by the gentle sounds of nature.
We love this place. First time here but will come back again. I play at different casinos but Del Lago has been surprisingly a great casino to come to, not just to play but it’s also close to different places to visit during the day while here. The staff, starting from the front desk checking in to the ladies changing the rooms to the wonderful host, Ryan, who was very welcoming and accommodating with our stay, were all very friendly and genuinely wanting to help when help was needed. The room we stayed at was very clean, updated and modern. I really didn’t expect a single casino in the area would be this inviting and and fun. Even my 17 year old son kept saying how good the food was. It’s also nice to have the coffee shop/restaurant be right as soon as you get off the elevators. Nice work! Overall, a huge yes to recommending to come visit.

We have stayed a few times at del Lago for overnight excursions on our special occasions and del Lago does not disappoint! The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and are quiet! The staff is exceptional and are accommodating in every way. Breakfast was fabulous and the portions are huge! I win more at this casino than any other local casino, so that's a plus! Whether you are looking for that overnight excursion for a special occasion or just looking to play on the game floor or see a show, del Lago hits all of the buttons! You won't be sorry!
Michele R — Google review
My friends and I recently took a trip to the Del Lago Casino, and while parts of the experience were wonderful, the restaurant experience unfortunately turned our weekend sour. We’re from Buffalo, so it was nearly a 2-hour drive — and the sole reason we chose Del Lago was because the restaurant was advertising a tomahawk steak. The first night at the casino was great we had an amazing time, the atmosphere was fun, the dj was wonderful and the hotel was beautiful. Everything about check-in was smooth and professional, and the staff throughout the casino and hotel were friendly, helpful, and professional. I’d easily give the hotel and casino itself a 10 out of 10, clean rooms, friendly staff, great security, and a gorgeous property overall. I want to specifically mention that the check in staff was amazing. I travel a lot but I have to say that this process one of the most seamless, efficient and courteous experience I've ever had. However, our dinner at Portico was extremely disappointing. We were really looking forward to the tomahawk steak that is being advertised. We noted on our reservations that we were there specifically for the steak. When we arrived, we were told they didn’t have any. It was frustrating because that was the whole reason we made the trip. We specifically made reservations for the first available table so we can get the steak. A heads-up would have been appreciated — because would’ve happily made other plans. Then things got worse. The waitress accidentally spilled my friend’s espresso martini in her lap. The staff offered us an appetizer to make up for it, and we chose the garlic bread (which was delicious, to be fair). Unfortunately, when the waitress brought the bread out, she dropped it too — a few pieces hit the floor, and instead of replacing them, she just served what was left. They offered us a free dessert to make up for the issues that we experienced. (Literally A dessert, one tiny cup of pumpkin cheesecake for the whole table) the dessert definitely did not make up for the poor experience that we had. At that point, we were just disappointed and ready to wrap up the evening. So we left the restaurant extremely disappointed and continued to spend the night in the casino. Overall, Del Lago is a beautiful property and we had an amazing time at the casino itself, even the security staff we're friendly. But Portico really let us down. It’s a shame that such a great weekend was overshadowed by poor communication and service at the restaurant. Edit: I have to say that I read a couple of negative reviews from other guests have written about the hotel and casino. I greatly disagree with these negative reviews. I highly recommend both the casino and hotel just don't go to the restaurant.
Nicole M — Google review
We visited the casino to see a show at the Vine venue. Bathrooms were clean earlier in the night and pretty. Later in the night a few stalls had no toilet paper, but the staff was replenishing it asap. We ate at a pizza place in the food court for a quick bite and it was good. The venue seats were comfortable and the staff was friendly. They helped us find our seats. The slot machines were mostly newer ones. I’d love to return.
Frog — Google review
I can't rate the rooms because Ive never stayed in one. I can tell you its a very nice Casino. I love the beverage centers located throughout the casino floor. Nice little eateries there to grab a quick bite. I also love how they have an actual poker room. Sometimes the odds of winning are better when competing against other players rather than the Casino itself. The Machines seem tight and have never win any money there playing my favorite game keno. I have only been there on 3 or 4 separate occasions but have never won anything on the keno machine. Im not really into feeding a slot machine. I am a keno junky. The points earned seem better than any Seneca Casino and they always have given me 10 free bucks everytime I have visited along with other nice chances to win something.
Matt C — Google review
None of the restaurant were open on Tuesday, just a little grill, but not for early breakfast. No breakfast or coffee till after 0800. Nice casino, but not good for buisness traveler's, maybe executives. Then again it is a casino and resort, so it world be really nice for weekend vacations or get aways.
Mark — Google review
The rooms are high quality! Bathrooms are super spacious and clean. The employees there were stellar! My wife and I went on our anniversary there for the past several years and every year it's worth it! There is a $75 incidental fee/day but you can use it on room service if you aren't going to destroy the room!
Garrett S — Google review
Pleasantly surprised by this hotel overall. The staff was incredible friendly throughout the property, and the rooms are well designed. Everything was clean and a good variety of options for food. The electric charging, however is broken in the garage.

Glenora Wine Cellars is a refined vineyard lodging that offers airy rooms and a cozy cottage, along with a relaxed restaurant and tours. It's known for producing a wide range of wines, including the popular Blanc de Blanc sparkling wine. The winery has expanded to include an inn and a farm-to-table restaurant called Veraisons, which is considered one of the best in the area. Visitors can also enjoy breathtaking vineyard views over the lakes while savoring their favorite wines.
Great first visit. Enjoyed a glass of wine on the deck with a nice view of the lake. Was not impressed with the server during the tasting, we felt very rushed. We found they have an amazing selection of sweet wines and bought several bottles. Also loved the pina slushy.
D S — Google review
My visit to Glenora Winery was just okay. While the view of the lake was nice, it was partially blocked by the hotel/inn on the property, which took away from what could have been a beautiful setting. As for the wine, it was good, but considering the variety of wineries in the area, I’ve had better. The tasting experience left a lot to be desired. There was only one server handling the tastings, and they seemed to be rushing through everyone without offering much explanation about the wines. Having visited many wineries, from California to Italy, I’m familiar with how a tasting should feel, and this one just didn’t meet those expectations. Overall, while it wasn’t a bad experience, I expected more given the reputation of the area. There are definitely better options nearby.

It was my first time doing wine tasting and our server was so friendly and nice. We each did 5 different wine tasting and then we enjoyed glass of wine on the deck with a gorgeous view of the lake . I highly recommend this winery. 10/10
Meldina M — Google review
They had so many wines to choose from and the 5 we tasted were all good but the Blueberry was probably the best I have had anywhere! I would HIGHLY recommend getting this if you like sweet wines. The view of the lake was a bonus! It was amazing! The only reason I didn't give this winery a five was the girl that waited on us didn't have much of a personality as when she was doing her spiel about each wine she barely made eye contact with us and it was on to the next one.
T S — Google review
My husband and I were able to do a wine tasting and educational class on glassware through the VIP experience offered through the Lakeside Trolley service. This is the oldest winery in the area and it was a beautiful place! The staff was so welcoming and friendly! We got to do a private experience where we learned the importance of glassware and how it either positively or negatively impacts wine! It was so informative and I highly recommend everyone doing it so they can learn about it too! Beautiful view of Seneca Lake too!
Elizabeth G — Google review
We loved it here! We stayed at the Inn and visited the winery. Highly recommend both! The inn was spacious & nice, with a great view from our balcony. At the winery, we love sweets & fruit wine, so it was perfect for us. Great covered patio to enjoy summer. We’d love to come back!
Courtney W — Google review
I for one love this place! I am not a dry wine person but my husband swears by their yellow taxi cab, I myself adore all of their fruit wines. Even if you don’t like wine, visit for a slushie, or to just look at the view. The view of the lake is immaculate. I also love that the lady at the tasting counter had a few mins of time and she went out of her way to find my size in one of the shirts I really liked. I will always come back here. 10/10 amazing!
Barbara P — Google review
Experienced quintessential Finger Lakes visit on Seneca Lake at Glenora wineries. Enjoyed a fantastic dinner meal at the Veraison’s restaurant. We always choose to sit on the deck to enjoy the view of the lake. started with a seafood chowder, and main course was halibut and the Ahi Tuna. Vegetable medley was fresh and shareable. save room for dessert. We had the pistachio cheesecake with a graham cracker crust ... won’t forget that. Server was excellent and had great sense of humor. Check the website for open/ closing days and times as they may close the restaurant for special events, such as weddings. Drive and park in front of the restaurant and your visit will be handicap accessible.

Wow! This was the highlight of our two day wine tour. Definitely something here for everyone. The feature a passport tour which has you visiting multiple areas of the operation for tasting. Very good wines and beers. The final stop is their WWII themed brewery that has some awesome beers. The staff are all amazing. The brewery also donates a portion of revenue to veterans which was amazing. We could have spent all day here it’s a real experience. Next tour we will plan to be here for the whole day

I wish I could give them even more than 5 stars! I work at another local winery and wanted to start checking out the other wineries in the area. I went with my husband for my birthday, just expecting to pop in for a quick tasting. 3 1/2 hours later... we left completely in love with the place. Every single wine, beer, and hard cider we tried were absolutely exceptional and beyond delicious. We also got food and coffee at the café which were also fantastic. The customer service was superb, the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. I told the manager I worked at a winery nearby and he was so great to us. I wish I got his name but whoever you are thank you so much for a fantastic experience! The atmosphere and decor was brilliantly designed, it felt like going to a theme park for adults! This is now one of our new favorite places and we absolutely will be returning over and over. I will also be sending all of my customers to Three Brothers when they are looking for recommendations for more places to visit!

A wonderful experience! Another trip added to my work family monthly outings. We had a great experience from the welcoming ambience to the excellent customer service. It was a day to relax and rewind. We did the $55 deal tasting for two and it was definitely worth it! Don't forget to get the "BIG ASS PRETZEL" Which could feed a small village! We enjoyed the Poutine(shareable) along with the grilled cheese. Take your girlie (or your boo) and have a good experience in the fingerlakes :)

Had a fantastic time at Three Brother Wineries! The wines and brewery are top-notch, and there’s a great variety of tasting packages to choose from. They even offer free slushies if it’s your birthday! The food is delicious, and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. With three wineries and one brewery, there's plenty to explore, plus indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy live music. Definitely check out their events on the website! I’ll definitely be back in the future! Highly recommend!

First time coming here and it was really nice! I did the passport which is a sampler tasting for all locations, and for the price you pay ($40 per person), you get a good amount of wines to try, and if it's just two people then there is a shared passport. There's four different areas that you visit for each samplings that have a unique atmosphere to it, and I can say I enjoyed most of what I got so I do plan to visit another day. There is limited seating so be mindful that you may have to be seated outside, and take your time at each one. There is free water located around some areas as well, and some food that you can buy which I got the pork sandwich and it was amazing! Some of the food items are shareable too, you get a great amount of food for the price you pay. One thing I didn't really like, and don't get why, is that kids are allowed and are just able to run around which makes no sense when it's an adult thing so there's nothing for them to do but watch their parents get drunk!
Caitlin S — Google review
Coming to this winery was an AMAZING experience. I got the single tasting pass (which gave me a flight for each building) and my boyfriend got the non-alcoholic pass (which gave him a non-alcoholic drink in each building). Each building was unique, with excellent service and amazing drinks. We were able to go at our own pace and pick different options. For the price, you get SO much. Each room gave 4, 5 or 6 samples, which gave a lot of different opportunity to try different drinks. My favorite room was Passion Wine because the room was so eccentric and the drinks were delicious. I also loved Bagg Dare, as there was live music and you could sit by a pond. I was worried my boyfriend would not have as good of an experience since he was not drinking, but the non-alcoholic pass gave him really interesting and good drinks in each room and he did not feel left out at all. He even got a soda flight in the Warhorse Brewery room, which he loved. We came here on a trip to the Fingerlakes, as we live around 4 or 5 hours away, and I would honestly take the drive again just to come back to this winery.

Three Brothers was such a lovely experience today. Each tasting “room” had different vibes and themes. The wines were amazing, the homemade soda was top notch. Also the wine slushes were phenomenal . If I could give them more than 5 stars I would, especially since they have an N.A. tasting pass. We love an inclusive environment 🩵

Incredibly impressed with this winery near Geneva! They have four different buildings with different beverage portfolios. I REALLY enjoyed the sangria and cider here. Visitors have noted that on certain days, there are fewer crowds, allowing for a relaxed shopping experience.
Absolutely loved the large variety of stores available, A lot of of them had pre-black Friday sales, the two or three stores I went in for clothing only had up to XL, which is a little downfall, and the one elder that works at Columbia needs to retire just saying. The young gentleman that works at Nautica he was awesome very helpful. We need more workers like him.
GabrielMarie K — Google review
I recently visited Finger Lakes Premium Outlet with my daughters for our annual back-to-school shopping trip, and I must say, we left feeling quite disappointed. I’ve been to this outlet many times and always appreciated the great deals I could find. However, this visit felt different. While most stores were advertising 30 to 70% off, we were shocked that the prices were still extremely high, even after the discounts. Items that used to feel like a steal now seemed overpriced, which took away the excitement of finding a good bargain. It’s not just the prices that were off, though. The outlet itself seemed unusually quiet, lacking the bustling energy it used to have. The fewer crowds made the experience less lively, and it left me wondering if this is a new trend. I’m not writing this to give a bad review, but more out of curiosity and concern. I’ve always loved shopping at Finger Lakes Premium Outlet, hoping this was just a one-off experience. But if this is a sign of things to come, it might change how often I visit in the future.
A F — Google review
Not bad as an outlet - the set of stores is diverse enough, tho some stores are on the smaller side, and not all of them have really great deal. But you can find nice stuff. The place is super spread out, and mostly forces you to walk through the parking lot to reach different stores, which in the summer is not particularly nice due to total lack of shade, trees or even a water fountain.
Daniele V — Google review
My daughter educated me today and said that outlets does not mean that they're discounted to means that they're outside stores. I don't know why but I always imagine that when I go to an outlet place that I'm going to get better deals than I'm going to the regular store places ... And I guess that just makes the mindset one where I'm not expecting to pay regular prices. So outside of our own way of seeing things a little bit different I reckon that the outlet malls did have a lot of shops that people definitely like to shop at!!!
Watkins P — Google review
Not a bad place. During the weekends it’s packed. For an outlet I find it expensive. Cheaper deals are available online. Nike are doing well! The queue started right at the back of the store. Wasn’t an issue as the staff were amazing. Bathrooms are always clean. Parking at weekends is tight.

Dramatic rock formations tower over Lake Ontario at this park with scenic woodland & beach trails.
First time here today! What an interesting state park with a deep history. Plenty of different trails and great views of the 10,000 year old bluffs formed from eroded drumlins of the last ice age. Bring bug spray in the warmer months, lots of bugs. You can also go down to the beach area for some different views below the bluffs and be right by Lake Ontario.
Broden B — Google review
Another beautiful day and we decided to take a drive to see the Chimney Bluffs... The hike was very easy a little uphill from the one parking lot. We walked the 1.29 miles to the other parking lot which had 201 steps down. As for the views, they were majestic... Lake Ontario had crystal blue water almost Caribbean like waters stunning Hopefully, you can get out and enjoy this gem.

We drove to the parking on E Bay Road, on the far NE side of the park to walk the 202 steps UP the hill to see the bluffs on the bluff trail and then turned around and went down because it was rainy and we have a 16 month old with us. The trail was well maintained, easy to find and navigate. There are restrooms at the parking lot and there were a decent amount of parking spots. The bluffs are very neat and interested. The views are lovely, especially if it was sunny I would imagine.

Definitely something you should go see if you haven't before. The main draw here are the bluffs which you can see along a 1 mile trail. Very easy walk. Trail was good shape with hardly muddy areas. The spires are gorgeous.b There are other trails you can take throughout the party as well.

The ragged lakeshore is one of a kind! We started out at the main entrance ($5/car) and hiked just a little to the views overlooking Rochester. Then we drove to the east parking lot and hiked more along the cliffs, it was very windy but pristine and nobody else was there. The dragon beach is full of driftwood and pretty cool as well.
JitkaKac — Google review
Easy 3 mile hike in and out. Easy for kids, beautiful views and leads down to Lake Ontario. Bathrooms at both ends of trail heads. Great place for a fall hike or a picnic! Trails are nicely marked and they are putting in wooden walkways over the low (muddy) spots.

Chimney Bluffs State Park on the shore of Lake Ontario is an absolute must-see destination in Upstate New York. What sets this park apart is its extraordinary geology: towering, earthen spires, or drumlins, carved by glacial activity and ceaseless erosion from wind and waves. These formations rise dramatically up to 150 feet above the water, creating an otherworldly, almost desert-like landscape that feels transported from Utah and offers some of the most spectacular photography opportunities in the region.
Ashish K — Google review
We took a trip here to check out the bluffs. It's definitely a cool place, and the chimney bluffs were amazing. We made the trails into a loop, and it ended up being only 3.5 miles. The trails were very muddy and had to venture off trail to get around the deep spots. Bring your boots

The food was delicious! Absolutely loved the vibe! We came for my sister's birthday and the entire group thought the decor and view were incredible! They loved the care the staff took with their orders, the options for other beverages (for those who don't drink wine), and really appreciated meeting the winemaker. The whole group said they loved learning about wine and enjoyed the passion of the entire staff! Huge thank you for making this day extra special!

Beautiful location overlooking Seneca Lake. Nice small shop. They even had a small cheese shop on location where you can get regional delicacies. A decent assortment of wines to choose from as well. We ended up choosing three separate wine flights. An excellent choice if you are unsure or would like to sample multiple offerings from the winery. Have fun!

If you're visiting the Finger Lakes region—especially around Seneca Lake—I highly recommend stopping here. The vibe and ambiance are fantastic, and the food and wine selection is top-notch. We visited on a weekend, and even though it was quite busy, we were lucky to get a table on the deck with a beautiful view of the lake. We ordered a Riesling and another flight—both were excellent. We especially enjoyed the semi-dry, Lake Dana Riesling as well as the Rose. The food was outstanding and paired perfectly with the wine. The chicken salad sandwich, Hawaiian sandwich, and flatbread were all delicious, and the side salad complemented everything really well. We can’t wait to return, try more items, and hopefully do the tour next time! IG: journey_man16

Delicious and delightful Cafe! Bison tacos were delicious and the unoaked Chardonnay refreshing on such a warm fall day. Many desirable items on the menu. Lovely dog friendly back patio but the lake view on front patio would have been cooler in every way. Price we pay for taking our pup everywhere we go. I hope temperatures cool off during our time here and I am able to enjoy a tasting of their reds.

We stopped in here on a whim and loved the place, the staff and the wine! We sat at the bar for a tasting sampler and had an amazing host whom was extremely knowledgeable and informative. The weather wasn’t so great when we went but the views from the front porch are beautiful.
Traci S — Google review
Their flights are well priced and the cafe has a great food selection. Loved all the wines we tried! This was the vineyard we bought the most from on this trip. They invited us to sit in the tasting room with our dog, but we preferred the patio.

Let me start by saying that I don’t write a ton of reviews, unless it is absolutely worth it. We did the wine tour with lunch experience and it was the highlight of our trip to the Finger Lakes. Thank you all for a great experience, up to par to Napa and our European wine experiences.
Julie S — Google review
Dog friendly in their tasting room and patio. Had the dry red tasting, it was good but not my favorite in the area. They are more known for their Rieslings and I didn’t try them but I’m sure they were delicious. They have a cafe area that looked really nice but I didn’t visit due to having the dogs. Very beautiful winery with a large outdoor area!

“Breathtaking with Wine Added” When it comes to a combination of breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery and a multitude of wineries and breweries, there's no place like the Finger Lakes. It's a great place to vacation and tour, not only all of the finger lakes; but, also, if you're a wine or beer drinker, the A-plus wineries and breweries. If you're only coming...

I drive all the way from Skaneateles for this mall, it’s worth it! I feel much safer at Eastview, and I like the stores and accessibility at this mall a lot more than other shopping centers. It’s easier for someone with mobility issues to get around or find places to rest here.

Nice astonohere, bustling with shoppers but not overcrowded at all. Many unique clothing stores, and an overall nice variety of stores/shops. This is a great mall! Stores for everyone in the family, from Lululemon, torrid, pac sun, fabletics, to the Lego store, minioso, an arcade, and a huge Dick's Sporting Goods! Many food options as well! Very well kept, and very open and clean! Staff was friendly. A plethora of parking. And an easy shopping center for anyone with a mobility assist sevice. I definitely recommend this mall!

We love this mall! Plenty of stores, great staff in the stores, and each store was easy to locate. The LEGO store was great and the decorations were beautiful. The food court was great as well. We did spend at least a few hours at this mall for shopping and had a great time. Worth coming here for some Christmas shopping!

Dick's Sporting Goods has a real handle on catering to the public as well. I'm sure the mall will be packed over the holiday's as well.

Malls in the USA may not be dead after all. Visited this one yesterday. It was active, vacancy was low, and the stores were of the better end of retail. There were even teens milling about like days of yore. Leads me to believe that there may still be hope for retail shopping in this country. Eat that Bezos!

The Martin House, a masterpiece designed by Frank Lloyd Wright between 1903 and 1905, is located in the Buffalo Parkside neighborhood. Recognized as one of Wright's greatest works, this Prairie-style estate showcases his signature architectural elements such as horizontal planes, open-concept interior with stained glass windows including the custom Tree of Life window. The site offers guided tours through the first-floor rooms, pergola, conservatory, and carriage house where visitors can view Wright-designed furnishings and fixtures.
This place is absolutely breathtaking. It is a marvel of buildings what they have done on rebuilding it is just absolutely spectacular. It is such a beautiful valued building and walking through. It is just a walk-through history. It is so inspiring to go to and I highly recommend everyone to go there and learn more about Frank Lloyd Wright and this building and the reason why it was built if you don’t go and visit this building, you’re missing out visit Buffalo!!!

I took the 75-minute tour today and absolutely loved it. Lou was my guide and he did a great job. I've been to around a dozen or so Frank Lloyd Wright properties, and this was the most spectacular. The property is sprawling, the home is meticulously restored, and the landscaping is so beautiful. This is a must do in Buffalo for any architectural buffs.
Kevin L — Google review
We took the 2 hr tour. Parking is in the surrounding streets and watch the signage for allowed days and times. Tickets were on every car illegally parked. The house is obviously impressive and massive. Being fairly tall, I really didn't care for the areas with low ceilings that were intended by wright to either move you along or to sit down. Interior woodworking was impeccable and outside construction flawless. The guide seemed focused on minute details of the owners life and family rather than the house. But it was informative and very well run.
Steve T — Google review
Frank Lloyd Wright architecture lovers will be very excited to see the restoration and current condition of this beautiful piece of residential art! Every detail was understood and perfectly restored to its original condition. Part of the house and an adjacent FLW home were destroyed in the past and all of it was rebuilt to exacting details and materials. As soon as you step into the home, it takes your breath away with sights, lights and sounds like no other home. It is not Renaissance grand, but it is FLW grand and I like that better. The warmth of the woods, the glass that makes the light talk to you and the art all over the house secretly disguised as furniture are all amazing. The docents were professional, very knowledgeable that provided just enough time for guests to stop walk around and take it all in. They answered questions politely with additional stories about the family and additional history bits. There are several choices of options for the tour with progressively longer and more complete tours of the home, adjacent buildings, and grounds. I highly recommend touring this Frank Lloyd Home in Buffalo!
James P — Google review
The tour began with an excellent video laying the background for the design and building of the estate. Dave, our tour guide, was a wealth of information, and very entertaining. He was able to respond to all questions. We took the two hour tour, which I would highly recommend. We went in October, but I would love to return in spring/summer when the gardens are in bloom.
Amy C — Google review
What a spectacular place! My family enjoyed hearing about the history of the home and the relationship between Mr. Wright and Mr. Martin and their partnership in building this house. The house has been beautifully restored and is a treasure. Our volunteer guide was so friendly and knowledgeable about the property. We are glad to have gotten a membership and look forward to returning.
Chris G — Google review
Amazing tour. We took the 2 hours tour and it surprisingly went very quickly. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the house, the history of the person that commissioned the house to be built, FLW, and the neighborhood. Even if tour are not a fan of FLW, you will enjoy this tour of the property.

I have to say my favorite was the polar bear. He was active and so cute ! Very clean zoo. The baby goat are clean. I literally have nothing bad to say about this zoo. It wasn't even crowded. At the time when we visited they has beautiful lantern art up as well which we loved. The giraffe was also a highlight for my kids as well. Mostly learning g some cool fun facts from the staff made it even more cool. Definitely loved how educational and fast given the staff was throughout.

Went on free Thursday in October was great weather not hot or cold was plenty of people for a weekday. Got to see the baby red panda were so cute .We had a burger at the burger restaurant was very good weird the pop was more than the burger! Spent couple of hours there got to see everything loved the polar bear and giraffes and the rainforest.

This zoo may be small in size but it is really nice. They have so many cool animals like Hyenas, Snow Monkeys, Seals, Polar Bears and of course Buffalo, as well as so much more. The Hyena I saw was so cute. Also apparently I went there while they were celebrating their 150th anniversary so there were a bunch of big light up displays and animal figures. I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. It is a lot of fun.
Willku9000 — Google review
A wonderful zoo with friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging staff. The zoo is very easy to navigate and isn't so large that you feel like you can't see everything in a timely manner. My wife and I purchased the giraffe encounter and that was just the icing on the cake. I would highly encourage you to look at and purchase an encounter to get a behind the scenes look that you can't get otherwise.

Very skimpy on animals. Good for a nice walk on a good day. I hope they turn it into an animal rescue site and rehab . We don't really need to cage more wild animals but great if born in captivity or a rescue. I understand the eagles can't fly doe to injury, the animals there are well taken care of and look really healthy.
Tim K — Google review
Waste of money. This was the worst zoo I have ever been to $60 plus for 3 people plus parking! 0 out of 10 do not recommend. The animals looked like they were unalived. The lions looked half starved. The animals barely moved. The polar bear which was the highlight of the visit looked miserable sitting in dry dirt. No water in sight or anything for the poor guy. This place makes me see while animals should not be in cages. They did not look happy at all. I wished I could have saved them from their despair. Poor things. Do better for the animals. Also they were decorating but not decorating. Just had junk laying everywhere in piles even blocking walk ways. Very unprofessional and unpleasant in my opinion. Awful place 😖

Once again a visit for the 'Zoomagination'. 🎊 This event never disappoints. Best viewed in the later evening hours, but come early enough to check out a show. 👍 Easy walking,🚶‍♂️ but a bit of it to do, to see all the displays. Most of the animals are asleep, or the areas are closed, so not an extra distraction. Light displays are spectacular and well done, with some being interactive. Great for all ages! Don't miss this amazing event ❤️ while its here! Run, don't walk! 😉
Jennifer M — Google review
Our first trip to the Buffalo Zoo as we were passing through the area was great. A smaller zoo but with plenty of animals to see. It is an older zoo, 150 years old, and some areas are very dated, but you can see they are working to update all the areas. They were setting up for the Zoo Lantern Festival that looks like it is going to be amazing. We spent about 4 hours at the zoo and still didn't get to everything. I guess it just means another trip back when we are passing through Buffalo again.

Loved the Visit to Canal side, me being the love for Air-force, knowing the history of World War ll was a great experience. People were warm and welcoming, and parking was easy downtown. A peaceful yet fun getaway—Buffalo surprised us in all the best ways. Definitely planning to return soon!

Great afternoon trip down to the waterfront. Take a history boat tour. Visit the naval museum and gift shop. Grab a hot dog and icr cream cone or a Tim Horton coffee and stroll the boardwalk. Hop on the carousel and take a step back into childhood. Make sure you stop by the "waterway of change" exhibit. Its free and very informative.

Attended the Asian Culture Festival and loved it. Also took a boat tour. Canalside is great except for two things. 1. Not enough information. Ever see those sign poles with signage arrows pointing in different directions? Canalside needs several pf those poles placed strategically pointing in the direction of a. Restrooms, b. Boat Tours c. Picnic areas, d. Information resources. Secondly, the parking situation is abysmal. Either have signs designating where parking is available or list it on the website. Why? I'm 70. I shouldn't have to search blocks and blocks for a parking space and then have to walk 8 blocks on a hot day to get to my destination. Nor should I have to pay $25 to park in the ramp. That's crazy.

The Buffalo Naval Park is a must-visit for those passionate about naval history and military enthusiasts. It houses three decommissioned naval vessels, along with tanks, jets, and historical exhibits. The park offers a unique glimpse into America's rich naval heritage and allows visitors to explore the interiors of ships and submarines, providing an immersive experience into the daily lives of soldiers.
Really nice boardwalk area with a lot of activities and food on the canalside. And the naval park itself has a good amount of history available with a small museum above the gift shop. We didn't go on the ship itself but they had that option available but still very interesting for the walk around and great scenery.
Captain J — Google review
It was exhausting visiting these vessels on a 90+ degree day in Buffalo, but well worth it. Fortunately, they allow you to leave and come back at your leisure so we were able to tour the first ship, leave to get much needed refreshments, then return to finish the self guided tour. There is so much to see that it took about three hours and we still ended up skipping by some exhibits. Shorts and pants are best with comfortable footware to navigate all the narrow, steep stairs, small passageways and openings. Kudos to everyone who takes care of this park and these vessels to allow us to experience this part of history in such a beautiful setting.

Super cool opportunity to tour on board a naval ship and submarine. Like a walk back in time. Fantastic historical viewing. The volunteers working have impressive knowledge. The submarine is def tight and small in some sections while walking through. Educational and interesting!

We visited the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park during our trip to the U.S., and it was truly an unforgettable experience. As visitors from India, we were amazed to step aboard real American Navy ships and learn about their rich naval history. Walking through the USS Little Rock, USS The Sullivans, and the USS Croaker submarine felt like stepping back in time—it gave us such respect for the brave men and women who served. The volunteers and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They patiently explained everything to us and shared many interesting stories about the ships and their missions. Their passion and knowledge made our visit even more special. The museum inside is very well organized, with displays that highlight different aspects of military life. Even though we come from another country, we could deeply relate to the spirit of service and sacrifice that the park honors. The location by the Buffalo waterfront is beautiful—perfect for a stroll and photos after the tour. We highly recommend this place to fellow travelers, especially families from India or abroad. It’s not just a museum—it’s a meaningful experience that stays with you !

It's a nice spot for a memorial to those lost at war. It was closed for tours while I was in town, but still had plenty to look at. I didn't see pics of the Huey in reviews I scrolled through so I made sure to include some.

I had a genuinely enjoyable walk through the area, made even better by the perfect weather — pleasantly mild, with just the right amount of sunlight. The scenery was captivating, especially the sight of battleships and a submarine docked nearby. I even spotted a helicopter overhead, which added a dynamic touch to the experience. The combination of military history and peaceful surroundings made for a memorable outing that felt both relaxing and visually engaging.
