Quecreek Mine Rescue Site

Historical landmark
Sights & Landmarks
The story of the rescue of 9 miners in 2002 is told at this attraction at the site of the event.
Bill is a great guy and wonderful host. The museum he is in charge of is top notch! He has done a wonderful job. I could not be more proud of him and the task he has undertaken to ensure we never forget. Oh, the book I bought is a WINNER!! Bill is the author and honestly a hero. I will be going back again to sit down with him and just talk and ask questions.

Learning about this tragic event, hearing first-hand account from the farm owner was interesting. The museum was well put together

Stopped on the way to Hidden Valley and glad we did. We didn't realize there was a museum on site so we just saw the outdoor sites. We watched some old footage of the event to better understand the ordeal. Enjoyed our visit!
Crystal G — Google review
This is just a really good place to visit! Really appreciate the amazing work God did here.
Loura N — Google review
We were told this is a small place on someone's farm, but it was definitely worth stopping! The farmer who owned the farm at that point was there, so that was great. He had put together a very interesting video that we watched explaining the whole story, maybe 30 minutes long. There's a decent sized (one room) museum, and then you go outside and can see the actual air shaft and rescue shaft...
Jenn N — Google review
Stopped in while on a bike ride through the mountains. While walking around we heard a voice calling, the very nice lady informed us she was just about to put on a presentation about the mine rescue, if we were interested there was a $7 fee each to sit down and enjoy the whole story. So of course we were glad to learn more about the rescue. She was fantastic explaining with maps, props and a slide presentation all about the rescue and how the mine flooded. They have a lot of items on display and she is happy to answer questions. I would recommend it to everyone.
Jason H — Google review
We all remember the news of the story. We all cheered as they one by one were finally rescued. But to visit the site to hear the not made by disney story is a completely different perspective. From the recorded voices of the forgotten miners who called out the warnings and became the first rescuers, to Bill the property owner and very generous man who gave part of his property so we the public could visit and lets not forget the amish who imediately came to build this museum. And the 9 who made it! This is a must see! So glad i made the trip.

The Jimmy Stewart Museum

Museum
Gift shop
Memorabilia, photos & film clips shown in a vintage theater honor the town's native son.
April 2024 Wonderful museum loaded with memorabilia and personal effects of Jimmy Stewart’s private and professional life, including his selfless time in the military. I have always enjoyed his movies and knew he was a very honorable, standup guy, but I came away from a two-hour visit knowing so much more about his life and impact on American culture. Truly a remarkable man and you can take it all in with a visit to this little gem tucked away in small time America.
David S — Google review
They have done a fantastic job of displaying both the career (in and out of Hollywood) and the private life of Jimmy Stewart in chronological order in many ways like reading, photos, videos, and voice. They also show free weekly movies on the same floor. The staff are super courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!!
J C — Google review
A must-visit for classic movie fans! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Jimmy Stewart Museum. The collection is fantastic, from movie memorabilia to personal items that showcase Stewart’s life and legacy. The movie screening was a highlight, and I really enjoyed looking through all the movie posters and the thoughtful WWII exhibit that honors Stewart’s service. The layout of the museum makes it easy and enjoyable to explore at your own pace, and the statue inside is a great photo opportunity. Absolutely worth it for any fan of classic cinema. A truly incredible experience!

Great little museum that surprised me with how well it was done. If you're in the area and want to learn about a decent, patriotic American then this museum is worth a look.

🎬✨ From Lexington Kentucky to Indiana (PA) – 100% Worth the Trip! ✨🎬 Just visited The Jimmy Stewart Museum in Jimmy’s hometown, and wow—what a treasure! 💎 From his boyhood bedroom to his Hollywood costumes, military uniforms, and even a 1930s theater showing his classic films, every corner tells his story with heart. ❤️ The staff are wonderful, the gift shop is full of unique souvenirs, and the whole place feels like stepping back in time. If you love history, film, or just a great American story—GO. 🚗💨
Robert I — Google review
The museum was so well laid out, it keep my family and I interested all the wat through. You do not need to be a Jimmy Stewart fan to enjoy this museum.
BOB E — Google review
Very interesting and wonderful museum. We had a group of 13 family members touring the museum. So we arranged a tour with the museums director. We thought this was just going to be a museum mostly dedicated to his Hollywood career and would be a quick tour. We were pleasantly wrong. I could have spent hours reading all about this incredible person. Exceeded all expectations.
Ron S — Google review
This is an unexpected gem! It is packed full of memorabilia and trivia that I did not know about Jimmy Stewart, especially what a decorated war hero he was! A must do if you’re in the area.

Idlewild & SoakZone

Temporarily Closed
Amusement park
Water & Amusement Parks
Kids-oriented amusement park offers a ferris wheel & more mild rides, a wave pool & water slides.
I haven’t been to Idlewild in years but took my youngest grandson there. The park was busy but not overly crowded the grounds were clean and employees helpful. We had a short wait at the gate to get in our digital tickets worked great and we were in in no time. We were directed where to park. I loved the tree lined park and there was plenty of shade. If you have a young child this is the perfect park. The giant Rubber Ducky was there and the baby yellow ducky too.
Dj “ — Google review
Idlewild is an awesome park for families with young kids. The rides are geared towards children with several allowing toddlers to ride with an adult. It is a much better value for young families than parks like Hershey or Kings Dominion who have very small young kids section. The water park is awesome too! We spent half the day at just the Waterpark. Also, buy your tickets online in advance. The tickets at the gate are much more expensive!
Leeann M — Google review
My children and their spouses and my 6 grandchildren had a great time from opening to closing! We had so much fun last year that we made it part of our annual family vacation. Looking forward to next summer already! Very clean , well maintained park , including Soak Zone.

Went for our daughters early birthday 🎈🎂 present from her grandparents and she had a blast. The park is great for small kids!! Definitely recommend a wagon!!
Tiffany ( — Google review
Long lines for food (1 person working bbq shack and 1 hr wait, no trays, no silverware), rides closed due to staff shortage, maintenance, and removed (slides)... I used to love this place... going downhill fast... lack of maintenance and appearance. If due to lack of help, reduce ticket price or close when little help so people dont have to have a bad experience. We paid full price for 1/2 the experience. Maybe the owners and senior leaders should come thru when short staffed and see how they like the treatment. They wont... they want their full ticket price collected no matter the experience for the public. Was like this last year too... figured they fixed it up since.... Edit as the day goes on.. after the long wait, my BBQ sandwich was cold, as was mac n cheese and half ripe watermelon. Son bought the $25 unlimited refill souvenir cup only to find out it has a QR code and only gives a LIMITED # of refills. Caramel apple not available, as "apples aren't ripe yet".
Jeffrey H — Google review
I will start with what really ticked me off…. We were in the lazy river and just kept going around cause it was peaceful. My handicapped daughter cannot do much so we stayed. While we’re in there and it’s hot out 88 degrees they kicked everyone out and said they were closing it for about a half hour so everyone could take breaks. You don’t close a water attraction when there aren’t many for breaks, you swap out workers for breaks. It was closed for over an hour. I’ve never seen anything like that and I’ve been to many parks. So we had to go to the pirate play area and the worker complained at me for going down the little water slide with my daughter who doesn’t walk. I’m like she doesn’t walk he’s like I understand I’m like no you don’t. Next the only bathroom with a big changing table smelled like pee, it was all over the floor. I didn’t see anyone clean the bathrooms at all. The food was so expensive. I’m from Eastern PA and you guys are more expensive than them. Also closing at 7 is really early. Sesame place stays open later and that’s geared towards little kids. We would’ve went to Kennywood, but it was too hot. I love the big changing table. I love how you just check in with your tickets when you park. I love how the parking is right there. Some of the workers were really nice. The wait times for rides were next to nothing which was nice, but it was a Monday.

We have season passes and have been several times this year have had a great time the only thing I would ask you to change is when people are filling their cups can you please make sure there is ice there is never ice because the soda machines do not make ice someone has to fill it and it is always empty but other than that we have had the best time with our 5 grandkids there we will continue to come back
Leann D — Google review
We love Idlewild! It is such a great park, and we have made so many fun memories there! For our family, the season passes; they are so worth it! You can go as often as you want in the summer and fall with most of the passes. Their payment plan system they have is great and can make it more affordable for families. Another little thing I wanted to mention. Sometimes we have people in our group that need a wheelchair, and I noticed this year they are offering mobility scooter rentals now, which is great!

Living Treasures Animal Park

Zoo
Zoos & Aquariums
Animal park with 70+ species, from peacocks to porcupines, has feeding & petting zones & pony rides.
My wife and I visited on 5/17/25. We had a good time. Not overly large, it took us an hour and a half to walk but we were not in a hurry. I read a review about the animals not being cared for and neglected. I did not see any thing that would lead me to think that. All the animals appeared to be well taken care of and were fat and sassy. I recommend this place if you are in the area.
Glenn W — Google review
What an awesome place to visit! There are tons of opportunities to hand feed and interact with the animals that live here. You are surrounded by a wide variety of animals including some that are free range throughout the park. The staff does a wonderful job of keeping the park tidy and the animals well-kept. The manager, Matt, went above and beyond to make our experience one that my family will remember for years. Highly recommend!
Cassandra K — Google review
Hidden Gem! Wonderful little animal park with so many animals! Pleasantly surprised by the bears (wish the bear enclosure was larger) the sloths are incredible, horses, goats, cows, kangaroo, etc the list goes on! Very small & quaint, but doesn't feel that way. It has a nice gift shop & you can purchase carrots or kibble to feed the animals. I'll definitely be back. Considering the season pass!
Crystal M — Google review
Cute animals and a good time! Got a cabin and they offered 50% off zoo tickets. Enjoyed the trip. However, there was a dead stink bug in the bed, but it happens.
Erin K — Google review
Took us 1.5 hours to go through. The kids loved it and so did us adults. Enclosures were a bit smaller than preferred for animals in captivity. Hopefully they have future upgrade plans especially for as much as we spent total on admission, food for feeding, and gift shop purchases (approx. $200 total). Overall, perfect day and the animals are adorable🫶🏻
Chelsy D — Google review
I discovered this animal park because of my stay at the Log Cabin Lodge & Suites, which offered a nice discount. The zoo is lovely, very well organized and maintained, a true delight for children and adults. For each animal there is a picture, some interesting information about the species and habits, place of origin, portrait and name, eating preferences, etc. I saw a camel, a gorgeous white tiger, a huge brown bear, various monkees of different types and sizes, plenty of deer, sheep, goats, ducks, kangoroos, horses, donkeys... The best part was to watch young children approach them and feed them carrots and other fresh food prepared by to park staff. I wish I could turn back into a toddler and enjoy the encounters with young eyes ... Highly recommended!
Roberto S — Google review
This place was pretty cool! All of the one star reviews are just your typical people that think they are walking into some animal paradise… it’s a small zoo with tons of friendly animals that seem well fed and happy to me 🤷🏻‍♂️. Go visit, feed the animals and enjoy yourself. People complaining about the prices have no idea how much its costs to maintain and care for these animals.
Brian W — Google review
The animals are very friendly and surprisingly interactive. My favorite were the kangaroos but this place is huge. They have many animals I've never gotten to see in person before. Great for kids, I don't think dogs are allowed but it was a great time. (Not free), plenty of parking.

Fallingwater

Historical landmark
Sights & Landmarks
Fallingwater, a residential masterpiece designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright, has been designated as a landmark and is now open for public tours. Located around an hour and a half southeast of Pittsburgh, the house is made of stone, concrete and glass which blend together seamlessly. The space exudes grandeur with its breathtaking history that dates back to the 1930s. The visitor center before entering the house showcases simplicity and complexity at their finest, with the foundation being praised for maintaining its original charm.
We were absolutely blown away by this stunning architectural masterpiece, tucked away in the mountains of western PA. Even though the home is undergoing a much overdue restoration, there were still so many sights to take in, from the moment you enter the property. The grounds, visitor center, gardens and trails capture the sublime elegance of this marvel of Frank Lloyd Wright's crowning achievement. The home itself is both opulent and inviting, refined but not pretentious. It's a place that seems to invite one to relax over good conversation. Hopefully this museum can be enjoyed by many generations to come!
Caelum S — Google review
Parking was fairly easy with plenty of parking spots(if you selected a your time online and just show up for your scheduled time) if not parking can be much harder. Once you arrive you check in at the gate and then the pavilion at the desk in the middle and they will get you in the next tour regardless of scheduled time. The type was about an hour and it feels very scripted to stay on time. But you have time to go through parts of the house and all of the ground on your own. We found the experience to be very good and run very smoothly. The audio devices were good so you could always hear your guide even if you couldn't see them. Give this review a like 👍❤️ now please. And thanks for reading. There are restrooms at the pavilion but those are the only ones. There is a cafe with coffee and some light snacks. There is a building about the Kaufman's, if you don't know then go to that exhibit before or after your tour. There is is a gift shop with lots of stuff for your flw fix. Pro tip: Definitely but tickets online in advance for the best experience 💯
Adventure K — Google review
Book tickets ahead of time. Parking is easy, but you’ll need to wait for your scheduled entry. Restroom is available as well. It’s an easy walk around the site. I’ve always admired Frank Lloyd Wright’s work—Fallingwater is beautiful and unique, though it didn’t move me as much as some of his nearby designs. Still, worth visiting at least once for its remarkable setting and design.
April W — Google review
Would have been 5 stars, but a third of the outdoor balconies are under renovation (new stucco and paint), detracting from FLW's elegant design. Didn't expect to need reservations during the fall shoulder season, but when we arrived at the gate we were told all tours were booked for the day! $20 per person to walk the grounds and the exterior of the buildings (there are two!) was well worth it, even though we didn't get to go inside.
Roger C — Google review
Frank Lloyd Wright was a genius! I was fortunate enough to tour this on a ninth grade field trip; decades later privileged to revisit this architectural marvel. The harmony between nature and home, water actually runs through the home, with a pool, plunge pool, stairs that descend into the stream and of course, falling water. Step back in time to see how the ultra wealthy Kaufmann’s spent weekends or holidays outside of Pittsburgh. Original furnishings, appliances and priceless art await you as if you stepped back in time. The in-depth tour was exceptional; Ron C. and all the staff are rightfully passionate about the preservation and sharing of this one of a kind masterpiece! Recommend making reservations for tours well in advance. There is free dedicated parking. Please note the tours are not ADA friendly with uneven ground and narrow rock stairs.
Lynnann M — Google review
So spectacular to see one of the most iconic homes ever built in person, again - the first time I was here was in June of 2020 and the health restrictions kept us from touring the inside, so this fall season view and inside tour of the magical Fallingwater masterpiece of Frank Lloyd Wright was all I'd hoped for and more! Frank's a family favorite, and I've toured many homes and displays of his work in NY, IL, VA, PA, OR, CA and AZ, but this one takes you to another place and time more distinctly. Hearing the little extra details of the family, their style, the furniture, the history from its construction to its endowment, and the maintenance of such a monstrous endeavor plus current renovations were all fascinating! The only thing that could possibly make it better was if it was a Bed & Breakfast and you could have your morning coffee with Frank and the owners themselves. To live in a FLW house must truly be a magical existence. I booked a tour, and recommend doing so in advance.
Andy K — Google review
Stopped here while in the area. House and grounds tours were sold out so all we could do was the $20 property pass. It was well worth it. It was a beautiful day and we were able to follow the well marked paths, look in the windows and even walk on all the patios and porches of the home and carriage/guest house. The walk to the lookout is worth it as well. If you have any interest in FLW, or architecture, this is not to be missed.
NeoGeoHa — Google review
We had a wonderful tour guide that provided information on this house & the that lived & vacation there. The house is amazing everything is be conserved to protect it for the future. The grounds were beautiful. Lots of trails to walk & explore. We tried but the rain wouldn’t cooperate. The have a nice cafe with drinks, bake goods & sandwiches.

Guests have particularly enjoyed the guided trips, with one visitor highlighting the incredible experience on the Lower Yough Guided trip in Ohiopyle/PA.
We had such a great time rafting with White Water Adventures on the Lower Yough that we decided to come back the next day to do another trip on the Upper. Our guide Lucas was fantastic and kept us dialed in through all the rapids! This was our first ever rafting experience but safe to say we’re hooked. Can’t wait to get out there and explore some rivers!!!

Our first time whitewater rafting and it was amazing. Our guide (I think his name was Christopher??) was fantastic. He did a fantastic job leading our boat. I never felt scared or out of my element. Highly recommend.

Our group had a wide range of ages and experience levels so we went with the easy lower Yough. Next time we'll do the middle. This was a great starter... Our guide, Emily, was great. We all had a great day!

We had an amazing time with White Water Adventurers! The guides were professional, friendly, and made the whole trip fun and safe. The rafting experience was thrilling but well organized, with clear instructions and great teamwork. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an exciting outdoor adventure — we can’t wait to come back!

WHAT GREAT DAY!!! Our Group, Wonsettler Physical Therapy had a team bonding adventure and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Elliot and Dylan were great guides. They were both funny and knowledgeable. It was a beautiful, cool day on the river! This was the first time white water rafting for most of our group (11) and we felt prepared before we hit the water! Thank you for an awesome experience. Can't wait to raft again!! ~Wonsettler Physical Therapy

We went rafting today and had Zach as our guide. Zach was AMAZING and made a great excursion even better! He was very thorough in his initial safety briefing and added some humor too. Once we got on the water you could see how knowledgeable he was and how much he loves the outdoors and being a guide. He was right on point with all his instructions to us and our group did great the entire trip! (One FYI - at the end of the trip, the rafters have to help carry the raft up a hill so save a little energy.) Zach was very personable and we had some great conversations during the calmer water portions of the trip. Jonathan was the other guide who took the other raft in connection with our tour, and while we didn’t have as much interaction with him as we did Zach, he was great too. He drove us back to the starting point. We highly recommend White Water Adventures and Zach in particular!
Yvonne R — Google review
We took the Lower Yough guided tour and had a great time! Despite being a higher-graded tour, we went with a bunch of first-timers and had a fun and exciting ride. Lucas was a great guide—sharing insights about the river conditions and inviting us to take on some more adventurous challenges. The route itself was scenic and offered some great challenges, even later in the year when flows were getting lower. The tour included a break where we had the opportunity to do a little bit of cliff diving, too. Overall, the tour company was very competent and chill and made we had a great time (though maybe we could do we a few fewer jokes on the ride back). We would come back again to see some of the other tours they offer.
Christopher W — Google review
We did the lower yough & had Jay as a guide! She was awesome, knowledgeable, and made our trip super memorable. It's obvious this whole team works together well and the company seemed very organized from sign in, getting equipment, and returning. They took all the stress out of the trip and we just got to the rapids & beautiful river views. Highly recommend a guided tour, we will be back.

Ohiopyle State Park, located in the Laurel Highlands, spans 20,633 acres and offers a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and rock-hopping. The park is also home to the first miles of the Great Allegheny Passage and features a visitor and education center with exhibits on local flora and fauna.
Great park, one of our favorites. The Meadow Run natural slides are beautiful and fun but be careful not to slip. The river is beautiful and wide with tons of fishing and swimming spots. The Allegheny Passage bike trails are wide and flat making them perfect for kids and families. They have tons of rafting and kayaking although we didn't try this during our trip. There are nice restaurants and shops in the middle of the park. This park is awesome and we'll be back often.

This was an amazing experience for my wife and I. Plenty of visitors and lots of chances for we Louisiana natives to vist locals, and visitors from all over. Weather was really nice, colors have started, the river was awsome. The buckwheat festival was on going. We also ran across a young lady getting married in the middle of the river. She had on white mech wedding train that was as cute as it could be. Icecream, pizza, and sandwiches what more could you ask for. Visited a 84 yr young woman with a history from out of a Movie storyline.

It's one of best state parks I have visited. It has something for everybody to enjoy. I went on a weekday so it was easier to find parking spots. I love the cucumber falls, viewing rock, natural slides and ferncliff area. I unfortunately didn't have time to try water rafting and would definitely try it next time.
Vasu P — Google review
I visited Cucumber Falls and had a little adventure crossing the creek to get as close as possible to the falls. It had just rained, so the ground was pretty muddy and slippery—which definitely made things more exciting! The waterfall itself isn’t huge or particularly unique, but the experience was still really fun. The natural beauty of the area and the small challenge of getting to the best viewpoint made it a memorable stop. A great little adventure if you enjoy the outdoors!

Pretty. Me and my dog did Ferncliff Peninsula trails. Trails nicely maintained. I should have taken a pic of trail info at beginning of trail. I did make a wrong turn and ended up taking a little more hilly, longer walk, and rocky trail. It was not too busy when I started about 10 am but by time I got back to parking lot lots people around. Plus parking lot full. Still fun and definitely will go back. Penny gives it 5 paws!

We take a yearly visit. Beautiful. We normally come to see the foliage. There's so much to do we never have enough time. Dont forget to sit. Relax, and see what God blessed us with while your here.

A really beautiful park that we kind of stumbled on to. It has a great visitors center abd beautiful overlooks for anyone who can't hike. The town is small but cute.

This was just a quick drive thru on our way to falling water. Visited the natural slides and the walk along the river by the visitors center. Apparently cucumber falls was closed for some reason. The parking lot entrance was cordoned off.

This theater in old circa-1926 school seats 1,300 patrons for music, dance & theater performances.
The Outlaws can still shred. Great show. High energy and lots of fun. Henry Paul Band excellent too. They did an acoustic set. Even the stage crew's band, The Buzzards, were really good. Highly recommend that you see them while you can. The Palace was as always an exceptional venue, clean and comfortable with great views and sound.

Attended concert, the theater is very well maintained and clean. The sound was good. Seemed safe, there were police and other security staff at door, and inside where beverages and merch sales were.

This is a magnificent, classic theater. It has been exceptionally preserved and it makes a wonderful venue for live entertainment. We attended a concert performeed by a Bob Seger tribute band (Forever Seger) and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evenjng.

We went to see Josh Gates of Expedition unknown. It was a wonderful place. The only problem is the seats were so uncomfortable and small. My entire row were large people so my husband is 6*3 270lbs and basically had to place his legs on me in order to not touch the large lady next to him and I and 5*3 200lbs and basically had to sit on the edge of my seat to be somewhat comfortable because the gentleman next to me opposite side of my husband was a large man who's body basically overlapped the arm rests and his legs spilled into my leg space as well. Needless to say we spent the entire show uncomfortable. We left during Q&A time, went online for his memorabilia and encountered others that had similar issues of seating. We were in the left side orchestra seating. overall we enjoyed J.G. and parking was madness so if you think two hours is too early you're wrong, three hours early and we made the show only twenty minutes early . We spent all that time trying to locate parking with traffic being another issue. It was our first time In that particular area.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Local Treasure Worth Every Standing Ovation I’ve been purchasing tickets for my mother and her friend at The Palace Theatre for the past three years, and I can honestly say this gem in downtown Greensburg is something truly special. The programming has been consistently top-tier, offering a wide range of shows that keep my mother (who sees over 20 shows a year!) thoroughly entertained and engaged. Even more impressive than the lineup, though, is the staff. They remember my mother and treat her like absolute royalty every time she walks through the doors—something that means the world to both of us. If you’re not already a member of The Palace Theatre, you need to become one immediately. Membership gives you advance notice of upcoming shows, priority seating, and a feeling of being truly connected to one of the cultural cornerstones of the community. The theatre itself is stunning—elegant, historic, and beautifully maintained. It’s a true highlight of downtown Greensburg and a reason to keep coming back again and again. If I had to offer one piece of constructive feedback, it would be to continue expanding and diversifying the programming. My mother does end up seeing some of the same shows year after year. But at 84, I’m just so grateful that she has a place she loves, where she feels seen, welcomed, and genuinely thrilled to attend. Bravo, Palace Theatre—you have our loyalty and our applause!

State's largest natural cave offers walking tours, spelunking & rappelling, plus gemstone-panning.
Had a great tour with my family yesterday. Our oldest child is in a wheelchair and our youngest 2 are in a stroller. If you want to take a wheelchair, you will need to be physically fit. That being said, the staff were very accommodating. A gentleman saw us departing our vehicle and immediately engaged us about having a staff member help us out personally. I believe Mike was our tour guides name, but I'm terrible with names. He was enthusiastic and accommodating. It was an excellent opportunity to introduce the kids to a beautiful natural treasure, early on. It looked like everyone was enjoying the facilities. Ample parking. Great picnic areas. The scenery is picturesque. A really beautiful, natural wonder.

This is truly a natural wonder, and my family was amazed by the incredible formations found within the cave. It’s definitely worth a one-time visit, especially for kids, they’ll likely be fascinated by the cave’s dome-like structure, which feels like it was carefully crafted by nature itself. Personally, I come from a place where I’ve explored both small and large natural caves, so I didn’t find it particularly exciting. It was nice, but not a “wow” experience for me, maybe it’s just a matter of personal taste. Still, the rest of my family absolutely loved it. The place was busy but not overly crowded, even on a summer weekend. • Ticket prices: $36 for adults and $18 for kids aged 6 to 12. • It’s a good idea to purchase tickets online in advance. • Parking is plentiful. • Cameras are allowed inside the cave, so you can capture some memorable shots. • Besides Luray Caverns, there are other attractions nearby worth exploring as well. Overall, while it wasn’t a standout for me personally, it was a great experience for the family.

This was my first time going to Laurel caverns cave. And it won’t be the last. We explored the deep depths parts of the cave Approximately 50 stories below where we entered, it was amazing. Made me feel like a kid again, climbing around down there. What a blast! But if I had to pick the one thing that set this trip over the top, it was definitely Mike our tour guide, Thanks Mike, you were amazing, We greatly appreciate it. You are the man and you made that a very memorable experience for each and every one of us. I will see you in the spring when I bring my family back. Big Thanks from Sullivan’s super service Employees.

Plus, the panoramic mountain views from the overlook are stunning! ✅ Affordable ✅ Great for families or friends ✅ Gift shop & picnic areas ✅ Cool escape on a hot day I left feeling refreshed, a little adventurous, and already planning my next visit! Highly recommend adding this to your Pennsylvania bucket list. 🌄🌌

We met up with friends at Ohiopyle and came out to the caverns. Due to the sandstone mixed with the limestone there are no crystal formations, but they do have a metallic looking bacteria that indicates a healthy environment. They also had a stop in the middle of the guided tour (Maddie was great!) where they had light cued up to Appalachian Spring by Copland. Following the guided tour, there is a self guided tour that goes down to the deeper sections. It was slick in spots and there were a few steep ramps, but even the three year old made it through with little complaint. The property with lookouts off the mountain is gorgeous as well! My husband and I talked about coming back some time to do one of the crawling tours. I also noticed online that they have some cool programs for kids.

Took my son on the intro to caving program and it was great! We got to do some crawling through some tight tunnels, see some underwater rivers and waterfalls. Highly recommend going and ask for PJ as your guide! He was great!

Two hour drive was worth the experience. Would recommend not to bring small children. Good pair of shoes as well. Guide was great. Spoke briefly at every stop and let everyone explore thoroughly. Dark at times but to be expected. Also some tight passageway for us big guys. Our families favorite part was the temperature. It was 95 outside but always 52° down in the caves. Also, if you’re afraid of bats, I believe April through September there are none in the caves. They were all out in the bat boxes outside. They don’t hibernate till winter time.

Always a 'cool' place to visit. I've been going to Laurel Caverns ever since I was a child, and this time I was able to experience it with my daughter and granddaughters. Now, following the guided tour, you are allowed to tour the cave on your own, which I think is a great idea. You can walk at your own pace and enjoy the beauty inside the cave.was definitely a good place to visit on a hot su.mer day.

As usual, it is the small details that are overlooked at these higher end restaurants. We ate there for our anniversary. We were seated in one of those shared booths right next to other people eating. Very frustrating considering there were other tables empty in the vicinity. Our waitress was outside while we waited 20 minutes for her to initially come wait on us. The service was spotty throughout the meal. The food was alright but not worth the price. On a positive note. The outside venue is fantastic. The owners did a fabulous job setting this place up. The wine and beer garden are nice. Very clean and well maintained. I probably would not eat here again because of the poor service and over priced food. But I would go back for drinks in the outside part of the restaurant. Food-3 stars Service- 2 stars Outside venue- 5 stars Cheers to the owners for creating such a unique outside environment.

My SO and I enjoyed a nice dinner here. He indulged in the steak while I opted for the chicken parmigiana. The wine was also incredible. We enjoyed a tasting while we waited for a table to open. It was a beautiful evening for the patio.

Went to this restaurant after several glowing recommendation’s to celebrate our anniversary. Sat on the patio and enjoyed their peach wine. Both it and the flat bread that came with the spinach dip were delicious. My husband had the pork chop while I tried the spicy shrimp pasta. Both were very tasty and well done. The surrounding plants and flowers make for a very pretty setting for lunch. Cons: The service. We were greeted by 6-7 young girls at the hostess desk with not one smile amongst them. The girl who actually spoke did not welcome us but simply asked “what she could do for us, today?”. Our waitress took our order and disappeared. We had to ask the person who came with the food for a drink refill for my husband after watching the tables around us get several. I never was asked or received one. At check time, our waitress finally returned to ask if we wanted dessert. We did not, thanks to our experience.

Asiago gnocchi was good, it was just odd how I had a few pieces as expected then 90% of it was a giant mass of it, like 10 stuck together. Only a few pieces of small chicken. Very salty. Tasty, just seemed incorrect. If you look at my uploaded picture, almost all of that was one giant doughy gnocchi mass. Meatball and ricotta pizza was incredible, best item we got. Calamari was good, but lukewarm as if it sat for 20 minutes. Definitely an item that needs to be fresh. Water was not filled once while here. Peach wine was incredible, we enjoyed our tasting but this was our favorite. Really feel bad giving this a 3-star but the food was not as expected, especially with the price.

Born and raised pittsburgh, so excited for this place. So disappointed. I think we sat in the worst outdoor seat they have, this part is truly no offense to them. Service (waitress we had) was so bad. Had to ask her for extra drinks, she took our menus as we were asking to have dessert. Got the menus back, we asked what was house made and she mentioned the tiramisu. You can tell its been frozen then unfrozen due to the puddle the cake makes when you put a spoon into it. I gave it 3 stars due to the potential it has to bring a family, being in a different seat, having a different server, and the wood fired pizza was actually great and tasted fresh. Service and overall experience outweighed the pizza and wine. I believe it was gracie who was our server fyo For a first time, it was really really disappointing.

We got a bottle of Merlot, it was great!! The roasted tomato dipping sauce for bread was incredible! Loved the vibe. Super chill, beer garden, pizza wine bar, area for dogs and kids with picnic tables, and live music! There were a lot of options to enjoy food and drinks in different ways here, around the fountain, walk around, really chill. Our server, Emily, was attentive and on top of everything... It was very busy!

Botanical garden
Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, located in Schenley Park, is a horticultural paradise featuring a Victorian greenhouse and various botanical gardens. The complex has been recognized for its sustainable efforts, with three of the greenest buildings in the world on its campus. These include the Center for Sustainable Landscapes (CSL), Nature Lab at Phipps, and Exhibit Staging Center (ESC).
We were there on a beautiful September day, when they had their Jungle Quest summer flower show! What a joyful day and a great time for families with kids. My daughter loved the tropical plants and blooms and was excited to search for the toucan perched on top of the foliages. She loved playing in the areas designated for children and loves learning about the different species of plants and animals that live in these environments. We spent at least 3 hours there touring and visiting the gift shop. The best part is having lunch at the nearby park.

On a beautiful sunny afternoon, my dad, my husband, and I decided to explore Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. First and foremost, the parking situation is absolutely atrocious! We drove around for probably about 15 minutes, just looking for a spot before we finally managed to find one about half a mile away. I think with it being located so close to two university campuses, parking is never good here. The terrible parking situation aside, this place is absolutely beautiful! The variety of plants and various vegetation in beautiful arrangements was definitely something to behold. We had such a wonderful time, exploring the exhibits and even had fun looking for the hidden toucans in the various rooms. Such a pleasant afternoon and definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Pittsburgh.

Phipps Conservatory is an absolute masterpiece. As an educated plant collector and a partner with a degree in horticulture, we came in with high expectations—and Phipps exceeded every one of them, earning a 10/5 rating from us. The level of thought and care that has gone into every single space is breathtaking. Each room is a uniquely curated world, from the stunning orchid displays to the thoughtful tropical collections. The plants are not only healthy and vibrant but are presented with an artistry that makes it clear this is a place run by people who are truly passionate about their craft. We spent hours wandering through the exhibits, constantly discovering new, fascinating details and unique specimens that held our attention. The Phipps experience is a testament to what a botanical garden can be when it's treated as a living work of art. It’s not just a collection of plants; it’s an immersive, educational, and inspiring journey. We can't recommend it highly enough to anyone who appreciates the beauty and science of the plant world."

Adding my 5 star review into the mix because this place was amazing. Beautiful botanical displays of all shapes and sizes all under these magnificent victorian glass greenhouses. You will feel like you were magically whisked off to London or Paris for the afternoon. Worth the visit to escape the madness and chaos of the world around you. Today I needed a nice, calm, relaxing, warm, inviting stroll through a garden and I was glad I stopped by. Thank you to everyone, especially Barbara keeping us going left and on the tour. 😎😎

Really cool experience for those interested in botanical gardens. Well worth the price of admission. Parking can be a tad tough to find on the street so be sure to plan ahead. Plenty of exhibits inside with rooms dedicated to rainforests, chrysanthemums, and ferns. My favorite was the cactus room!

I look forward to the next time here. We did learn if you go first thing in the morning (9:30), parking is readily available.

The theme for the Phipps Conservatory's 2023 Winter Flower Show and Light Garden was: Garden Railroad: The miniature train ride was titled "Pennsylvania Through the Four Seasons." It was one of my most enjoyable rides, a reminder of winter 2023, and I'm looking forward to what the theme will be for winter 2025. It's a perfect place to share with family and friends, and if you want to enjoy a solo ride to reconnect with yourself, it's also a great place.

One of the most beautiful ball parks. If you’re in are coming here do not forget the stadium is outside and many of the seats are in the sun! Catch a day and night game so you can see the skyline during both times of day. You’ll be walking along the Roberto Clemente bridge and the view of the bridges from here are excellent. So many good photo ops. Highly recommend catching a game here!

PNC Park is hands down one of the best ballparks in the country! Getting there is incredibly easy – it’s just a short walk from downtown Pittsburgh, and the area around the stadium is very walkable. Entry into the park was smooth and hassle-free, which made the whole experience even better. The ballpark itself is beautiful with plenty of concessions available throughout. As expected at a major league park, food and drinks are on the pricey side, but the variety of options makes it worth it. The views are absolutely spectacular – you get an amazing backdrop of downtown Pittsburgh and the river, which adds so much to the game-day atmosphere. Even if your seats aren’t the best, PNC Park has plenty of areas to move around and take in different perspectives of the game. From the outfield concourses to open standing areas, every angle seems to offer a great view. Overall, the combination of easy access, great amenities, and one-of-a-kind views make PNC Park a must-visit for any baseball fan or visitor to Pittsburgh.

The stadium has good history, atmosphere. Easy to walk to from nearby hotels. Very clean, staff friendly and accommodating. This was the only stadium that the usher wiped down my seat so far. We've been to several. Nice area, worth the trip. It was kind of confusing to walk around inside the stadium to check it out. Before we sat in our seats.

This is my favorite ball park. We travel the country just to see baseball stadiums. This is a great place. The view... the people. MLB has to do a better job with the food but the prices are below average and if you go when the gates open drinks were on happy hour prices. The ushers were great. This is the one ballpark that you want to sit higher up on the first base line so you have a great view. Normally I like to sit as close as I can to the field but the view is worth the sacrifice and the tickets are way cheaper. Take in as many games as you can while you're there.

Calling yourself the Best Ballpark in America takes some big ones. Being an SF Giants fan, I might have to disagree. I attended a Sunday afternoon game here, was a rather warm day, but my seats were soon in the shade and I was able to enjoy the rest of the game. The views are quite stunning, it’s a perfectly situated ballpark. My only complaint was that the concessions weren’t as special as the park.
Dennis P — Google review
The best baseball views in the country. The concourses are open and have lots of food and drinks available. Large bathrooms, easy to find seating. The exterior has lots of foor and bar options and the walk over the Clemente bridge makes for a great outing.

Best ballpark in the world with the best view of Pittsburgh! The employees are all very friendly- everyone at security, to the elevator operators or the vendors all make you feel immediately welcomed and seem very proud to work there. Be prepared to pay a lot for parking which is anywhere from $25-$40 on game day. The lots fill up quickly, so be prepared for a walk from the parking lots or garages surrounding the stadium. Food prices are also outrageous but there’s a lot of choices. I ordered the a slice of “world-famous” Caliente pizza which was huge and equivalent to two slices and cost $12 a slice. It was very good and also very greasy! All in all, if you’re a baseball fan, add this ballpark on your list to visit…you won’t be disappointed!

Stadium Tour: Incredibly well organized and worth the nominal fee charged for this privileged experience. Ran on time, used all 90 minutes promised, received so much history and learned about the NFL’s growth in technology too. Amazing to be in the locker rooms and being able to walk on the field; Steelers Nation’s hallowed ground. Sunday 10/12/2025 Steelers Acrisure stadium I took my daughter to her first NFL game! We are loyal Steelers fans! I’ve noticed a lot of settle changes in the remodels that they have done from the changeover from Heinz Field prior to 2022! It is still very family atmospheric and electrifying! I’m absolutely astonished how clean it was for the volume of people that were in attendance for this big rivalry home game against the Cleveland Browns! I want to think of everyone that was able to make this experience very special impossible for my daughter I recommend anybody even if you’re not an NFL fan or Pittsburgh Steelers fan to visit the new Acrisure stadium it is home to the Pittsburgh Panthers as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers and they also host tours in addition to other events as well, which you can check on their website! I rate the overall experience five stars, but I would give it the whole galaxy if I could! Absolute perfection!

Wasn't too impressed by the numerous daylight games I've been to here, but Sunday night games have a great atmosphere and energy that make them pretty fun. The food is definitely pricey, though that’s expected for an NFL stadium. The biggest downside has consistently been the lines, both for the restrooms and for food. It’s not unusual to wait 15 minutes just to use the restroom during the game, and I can’t imagine how bad it gets at halftime. I will say, the line to enter the stadium through security was significantly quicker than my last visit, which was a plus. Overall, it’s not a top 10 NFL stadium, but it’s serviceable.

Omfg what a huge experience we've had today and not to mention the Steelers pulled a win today against the Cleveland Browns!! Our seats was section 135 row B, behind the Steelers!! I will add one more photo we got a signature from #41 Wilson (was hoping for Watt and Rogers🥰 but no!). Very sweet man to sign it!! We are definitely coming back but next time sitting in front row!! The drinks for a can of beer was $16. I literally took sips that i should added a nipple cause it took me through the game!!😂 The prices for the tickets was steep but seeing my family's faces enjoying the game was so worth it!!🥰 as always LETS GO STEELERS!!!❤️💯🏈🎊

First this last Saturday for the Pitt/ND football game. Prepaid parking across from the stadium. Great location and views, concession stands and selection was great. The Duquesne Incline in Pittsburgh offers a delightful ride on a beautifully restored wooden cable car, providing fantastic photo opportunities of the city's skyline and surrounding vistas. This historic mode of transportation has been running for almost 150 years and is a must-see attraction in Pittsburgh. Visitors can enjoy spectacular views from both the cable car and the observation deck at the top station, where there are also exhibits detailing the incline's history and its significance to Pittsburgh.
Very beautiful and historic place. The incline has been running since the 1800's. Its been a must see location in Pittsburgh for many years. My son and I went for our 1st but not last visit. The views of the city are spectacular. Many different ways to get great photos. On the cable car and at the top on the observation deck. At the top there are lots of exhibits that outline some of the history of the incline and cars. It also depicts interesting history of Pittsburgh. It is so cheap that a family could afford this fun and educational excursion. Ill definately be back with more of my family. Take cash and exact change. A round trip for 2 adults is $10. They are friendly and nice enough to let you go ahead and ride. You can get change at the top. Either from the gift shop or an ATM.

I enjoyed this funicular side trip. The view at the top was nicest part of the trek. Crossing the street from the parking lot felt like a game of Frogger. Up top there’s a few touristy things to see, but not much. I’m biased because I’m comparing this with the many I’ve done in the EU. Overall it was a nice side adventure, but not much to write home about.

Ticket prices r great and it’s a really cool experience. It’s old time feel to it which is cool it’s like u stepped back in time which I always love that feeling. The only reason it’s 4 stars is because when we went their was a group of rowdy teens playing around in the car and shaking it the whole way up the hill making it a little scary to say the least and the staff did nothing about it. But we will definitely be returning again

I didn't enjoy my visit for several reasons: 1. You have to pay for parking, which costs $5 for 2 hours. 2. I came with my wife and kids (13, 10, and a baby in a stroller). It was very hot, and we all felt tired. We had to wait in a long line to buy tickets, and they only accept exact cash. 3. The staff were rude and unhelpful, with one lady shouting instructions through a microphone. 4. The gift shop at the top was small and sold trivial items. This place needs updating. They should accept credit card payments, have a website for advance ticket purchases, and add air conditioning—it was unbearably hot.
Ali A — Google review
Make sure you have exact change in cash! $2.50 each way so $5 per person. No change or credit cards here. Great view of Pittsburgh and some cool spots to check out at the top of Mt Washington

Ride the cable car At Duquesne Incline and see the best views of downtown Pittsburgh So whenever you see pictures of Pittsburgh, I am sure you are looking it downtown with and cable car in the foreground. it is easily one of the best things to do in Pittsburgh. From the cars, there are great views out over the city. Once used to transport workers all the way back since the 1800s. they are still using two original 1877 cable cars, the Duquesne Incline is a working museum, with the upper station providing photos and displays on the history of the incline. at the top, you can also see the working mechanism, wheel, and all. I don't know if it is the norm, but there was a guide in our cabin and he gave a brief idea about incline history, and how it come into the picture. Duquesne Incline was rescued and restored by a group of local residents in 1963 and still delights residents and visitors with its original, elegant, wooden cable cars Parking: $10 and that's valid for 24 hours. Parking is more expensive than tickets which are just $5. You don't pay at the counter, you put the exact amount in a cylindrical box (nobody checks what you are putting in the container). a counter lady comes in a while and shoves it with a stick. i have never seen a system like this. if you want to experience a slice of the city’s long history, go for it.

Rode the incline up and down as part of an excellent sightseeing tour offered by Molly's Trolleys. There is a panoramic view at the top of Pittsburgh from the north side. The ride is in a no-frills vintage car and there are antique photos in the waiting area.
Barb ( — Google review
The ride is worth the wait. The view up top is good, but the ride from the from the back of the car is really unique. It is shaky and is not smooth, which made it a fun ride.

Fun Fore All Family Fun Park

Amusement center
Fun & Games
The offerings at this indoor/outdoor activity center range from go-karts to a rock wall & an arcade.
I took my kids here for my daughter’s birthday! It was our first time going. It was really fun, they enjoyed the go carts as well as playing all the games. The food was good as well!! Very clean environment, friendly customer service. Parking was good as well.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My family had such a wonderful day at Fun Fore All ! We enjoyed all the family rides, go karts, arcade games, and the brand-new duck pin bowling. The bowling is an absolutely beautiful set up and not to be missed while you're there. The free refills on soft drinks were perfect on a hot day, and the food was excellent—definitely not your typical amusement park snack bar food. We also loved how the park works: it's free admission, and all the games and attractions are pay-as-you-go with a play card. The card makes it easy to track both your balance and your arcade tickets. Parents even get to ride the kiddie rides for free when riding with their kids—a huge bonus! They also run deals with bonus credits, which makes this a great idea for Christmas gifts. Since we have younger kids (7, 5, and 4), we skipped mini golf this time, but the two 18-hole courses looked beautiful. Overall, the park is clean, family-friendly, and packed with fun. We can’t wait to come back!

OK, it may not be Kennywood or Six Flags but when you visit the PGH area, you are limited. If you have some brats you need to run loose and tire out, this is the place.

Their new Crazy Cars ride was more thrilling than I thought, which turned out to be a good thing. Go karts are still super fun. We did the lighthouse golf course, and it was a super fun course, except for the fact that the wind was blowing water on me sometimes. In the arcade, one of the machines broke down, so they refunded our money and gave us 500 tickets. Shout out to the staff for that one. They have a great menu of food and super good service as well. We never had to wait to get on a ride! I would 100% come again, thanks for the fun experience Fun Fore All!

I can't speak highly enough of the team at Fun Fore All. My company was looking for a venue to host about 250 people, and when this location came up as a possibility, I thought it was a fluke. However, I gave them a call, and Tiffany helped me not only put together a wonderful plan but also made every step along the way simple, smooth, and straightforward. Working with Chris C. and Chris L., who run the show, was a genuine pleasure. The whole staff was friendly, helpful, and provided excellent customer service. Not only was this option a HUGE upgrade from our other choice, which was more expensive and just a blank conference room at a hotel, but they also blew the team away with the huge variety of fun games, duck-pin bowling, atmosphere, and attentive staff. On top of THAT, I only had to bring my laptop for our slideshow! The technology was new and simple, and whenever we had questions, Mark was able to answer and assist. My management team was so impressed that they want to bring the whole team back during the summer months to take advantage of the other options as well. It was truly fun for all, and it was awesome to see adults from a Medtech company kick back, enjoy playing games together, laughing together, and just spending time together at this wonderful venue. In summary: economical, fun, outstanding customer service, a close-knit team, great management, a great food selection, a variety of games, flexible staff, technology and sound systems provided, and a unique venue for a company event that shakes things up. A very deep and emphatic thank you to Tiffany, Chris C., Chris L., Mark, Haylee, Gabe, Luke, Jess, Ed, Wayne, and John. From the professional engagement over phone and email to the great senses of humor and bubbly personalities, I was humbled to work with such amazing people. I am pumped to work with these people again and more than happy to give them my business. Whew! That's a wrap.

Fantastic afternoon for teens. Very affordable with timed passes and pizza. Everyone had a blast. This place was well maintained also, the staff and manager made many loops through the facility over the 4 hours that we were there.

Good place for family and kids all ages. Place has been updated for a lot more of a modern feel. We have taken our son there multiple times and it is just as enjoyable each time. Fair prices for the games and food.

The Pavilion at Star Lake

Live music venue
Sights & Landmarks
Presenting big-name acts, this outdoor amphitheater hosts 23,000 patrons in reserved & lawn seating.
It is always a great time at Star Lake! The vibes are always on point and the best place to see everyone you know in Pittsburgh. I love the venue and food and drink options! We all know the parking is what it is and there is no room to keep complaining. Because we all love the venue and the artist who come perform.
Sam D — Google review
Been here many times. Good bathrooms, there are enclosed spaces made by brick, not much ventilation but it's solid. Good sinks but wait times are long for ladies. Free water stations. Good concerts. Getting out is a bit of a nightmare. Plan to wait like 40 minutes sometimes till cars figure themselves out. I just waited a moment in my car. Then joined the car line when it makes sense. Be safe and hydrated. Also, rain delays don't mean it's canceled. Waited in my car for a 30 minute storm. 💞
Chloe C — Google review
First time here from out of state. It's very comparable to the venue we frequent at home. Seemed to be very organized when it comes to parking, and entering the Pavilion was smooth. Plenty of restrooms, even a well thought out planning went into adding them in the parking areas as well (at least for this show). The lines for merch and food seemed to move well also even with 20k people at the show. The sound system for the bands was clear and sounded well balanced too. The covered seating areas were also a plus, especially when it started to rain so I'd highly suggest paying a little extra for actual seats and not grass. The only real issue, which seems to be the same at all amphitheatres, is the after show parking lot. It took us about an hour and a half to get out of the parking lot, but we did expect that considering the similarities to our home venue. All in all, it was a quality experience and if we ever find ourselves out here again, I wouldn't hesitate to attend another show here.

Driving in 10 min took an hour & 1/2! Exit was as painful! Singer Tyler Joseph mentioned how bad it was for fans (❤️ ) & band waited & played later to bc of parking chaos! Otherwise ⭐ Lake was awesome w that hill, u can see from any spot! Bring blankets, rent lawn chairs & enjoy yr show! Clean grounds, porta potty situation. Def LEAVE EARLY & ⛽ up ahead! 5 min walk to venue from our spot. Def would go back. Idk this show could be topped through !

I just went to see Falling in Reverse with a friend September 18th. I have never been to this concert venue. I was hesitant since it was an outdoor venue which I usually steer clear of. However, I had a great time though! There was plenty of concession stands so it wasn't too crowded at each. The restrooms were clean and provided pads and tampons which most places still have not implemented. The sound and effects were excellent. This is where the negatives start. The venue wasn't very organized in how they got everyone in. There were only two ushers towards the front to make sure only vip got access to the floor. As far as I saw there weren't any staff around to help people find seats or sections. We had a hard time finding our seats, and there was no one we could ask for help. It got really confusing in general especially with the parking situation. We paid extra for the special parking, but we ended up in general. There was so much chaos that they just started directing us to wherever they could fit us. Now, given how crazy rock concerts get this is understandable. A crowd is hard to control and traffic is unavoidable. I would just suggest they post extra people and are informed.
Chelsea M — Google review
The parking situation is rough, if you get parked in the back lot, you won’t be able to leave for a whole hour after a concert :/ buttttt every concert I’ve seen here was amazing. Drinks are very over priced, so make sure you pregame :)
Erika C — Google review
I always love coming to concerts at Star Lake! The atmosphere, the music, the food, the drinks -- everything is always top tier. It feels like one big field party every time. Whether it's my favorite band or someone new, the energy is unmatched and the experience never disappoints. Can't wait for the next one!

Wife and I came to see The Lumineers and had a great time. Arrive early and consider the premier parking. There will be police directing traffic and lines in can take some time. We opted for the premier parking and were parked pretty close to the venue gate. Entry process was quick and smooth. Plenty of concessions if you need a snack or something to drink, with typical pricing. We had seats under the pavilion which kept us out of the sun and elements. Venue was fairly clean including restrooms and seating. We left a little prior to concert end to allow us a head start out, as there is only one way in or out that we saw. With the number of cars, I presume this would have taken time. Overall, good experience and we will be back im sure.

West Virginia Penitentiary, a 19th-century Gothic prison located in Moundsville, offers guided tours, overnight paranormal visits, events, and a gift shop. The site also features an Adena mound built over two thousand years ago during the Woodland period. This Pre-Columbian Native American mound is one of the few remaining mounds available for public viewing in West Virginia.
We were running late for our tour time, but called and spoke with receptionist and they are fabulous! Great tour guide! Very informative and explanation of the history. No joke its very hot during the summer, bring your water bottle!!

My sister and I did the overnight paranormal tour for our birthday and it was AWESOME! This place is amazing and honestly it's the first place we've investigated where I was actually terrified in one part. We loved the 90 minute tour before we went out investigating. Jalynn was a great tour guide. Highly recommend this place just for the history itself.

Visited on a very hot and muggy Saturday in August and it was certainly an experience I’ll never forget. Elijah was my tour guide and he was great! His perspective as a Moundsville local enhanced the experience, and I would recommend this tour for anyone in the area! I can’t wait to come back and experience the haunted house one day, as this place has such a unique vibe to it.

Very cool tour! Our tour guide Tiffany was very nice, professional and full of information that she was happy to share. She gave us time to take photos and videos if we wanted to, gave us time to actually browse around and look at different stuff along the tour. We did not feel rushed at all and had a great time. Thank you for offering this

On my way back home to Ohio, I stopped in to visit the West Virginia Penitentiary. I did one of their day tours and was not disappointed. The tour guides are so knowledgeable and the history is just fascinating. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would love to come back and do it a night tour or a paranormal tour. If you have a couple of hours to spare, I would highly recommend checking it out.

Tuscora Park is a delightful destination that offers a blend of vintage amusement rides and seasonal facilities, making it an ideal spot for families. With three inviting pools, including one designed specifically for little ones, it's perfect for a weekend outing. The park features charming picnic areas and several playgrounds where children can play freely. Among its attractions is the newly acquired Kiddy Ferris Wheel, which adds to the nostalgic charm of the park with its colorful gondolas tailored just for younger riders.
Realllly nice beautiful park for children. Definitely family friendly and something to do on a weekend night if they are open. I saw a few gazebo’s with family having parties as well. The have what looks like two pools. For the tots and one for regular use.(from my knowledge anyways.). All the amusement rides are from a typical state fair but they look very well maintained. The staff were friendly and smiley as well. I would most definitely bring my family back. I highly recommend you visit.

Awesome little park for kids! Clean, cozy, & perfect for elementary ages—short ride waits 😊. Classic rides are well-kept, pavilions great for picnics. Friendly teen staff, but food’s just okay & opens late (5:30 PM). Pools look fun! Super affordable, ~$10/kid. 9/10, we’ll bring the family back! 🎠

The Wilds

Wildlife and safari park
Nature & Parks
The Wilds is an extraordinary conservation center nestled in southeastern Ohio, spanning approximately 10,000 acres. Established in 1984 as a nonprofit initiative, it offers visitors a unique safari-like experience that includes thrilling ziplines and horseback animal explorations. For those seeking a romantic getaway, Nomad Ridge provides luxurious yurts exclusively for adults since its opening in 2009. Guests rave about the well-organized tours and engaging experiences available on-site, from guided sunset viewings to fishing adventures.
What an experience! The Wilds is an Ohio gem that is well worth the money. I would say great for kids 4 and up. The open air tour was so much fun, we saw so many animals near and far from the bus. They do have food and water on site as well as a great gift shop. The bus was a rough ride a times, more so at the back of the bus. Our tour guide was full of knowledge and made sure we saw everything. The beauty of the park and restoration efforts are worth seeing even if you aren't interested in the animals. They've done a great job making everything accessable for everyone, even the handicapped. Don't miss this adventure!

We stayed two nights in the Grand Yurt. The yurt was perfect. Central AC, mini fridge, and super comfy bed. The provided meals were delicious. The yurts are a short walk to the Overlook Cafe. There is a slight walk down to the Grand Yurt. The concierge service is a nice touch. The Open Air Safari was very educational. Make sure to bring a drink with you. The Wild Side Safari was exceptional. You get up close and personal with a lot of the animals. The Rhinos like to rub against the jeep. Bottled water was provided. The Zip Line was a lot of fun. Again, I suggest you bring water with you. All of the staff were very informative as well as helpful and fun.

The Force is alive in every hoofbeat and roar at The Wilds. We embarked on the Wildside Safari, and it surpassed every expectation. Rather than being confined to paved paths, we rode off-road in a custom truck with padded seats and a canopy — comfort and adventure in harmony. The open-air safari is lovely, but restricted to roads; the Wildside version lets you move closer to the animals, even into hidden corners of their habitat. (Be sure to bring binoculars as backup!) A moment I will never forget: we visited the giraffe barn and hand-fed a giraffe. With chill in the air, they’d been brought inside — an exclusive experience only possible on Wildside. To look eye to eye with that gentle giant and extend your hand is to touch a living Force. Our guide channeled true Jedi wisdom, weaving facts, conservation tales, and ways we can help protect these creatures and their world. After the safari, we browsed the gift shop and dined at the café, gazing out over the vast meadows — a scene so tranquil it could quiet the busiest mind. The Wilds also offers ziplining, horseback riding, and lodging options (yurts, cabins, camping). In fact, when you stay overnight, you may even get a tour‐discount. 📸 Jedi Camera Tips: Wide-angle lens captures sweeping vistas, savanna skies, and dramatic herd scenes. Zoom or telephoto lens (100–500mm or similar) gets you intimate shots of rhinos, giraffes, and especially those up-close barn moments. Don’t forget to shoot in “burst” or continuous mode — animals move with sudden grace.

We had a great time and awesome experience! Our tour guide was amazing, we couldn't have asked for better! (Got lucky there! 🙃) The animals were active, we had a cool brisk morning, everything but the giraffes were out and about. Glad we brought binoculars but still had all the animals close enough we didnt "NEED" them by any means.

It was a great experience, the tour guide was very helpful, love animals with a passion. We get to feed the animals. I will definitely return again in the spring.

Historic Muskingum River "Y" Bridge

Historical landmark
Sights & Landmarks
Bridges
I just love the fact that we have a bridge in the shape of a y and the look on people's faces when you give them directions to turn right or turn left once they get to the middle of the bridge 😂
Deborah L — Google review
The only bridge like it in the World. Initially built in 1914 the Y shape was created to allow traffic heading East across the bridge to go either North or South as heading straight on would involve driving straight into a mountain. Aviators use this bridge for a reference point and famed pilot Amelia Earhart said it was the most recognizable city in America. This is a fifth generation bridge with the first being a trestle bridge and then a covered bridge. Before traffic lights were invented a traffic officer would be stationed in the center of the Y to direct traffic. It was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records and on the National Register of Historic Places.

Only Y Bridge in the world. Had to drive it and take a walk. The water moves very swiftly over the dam and under the bridge. Love the impressive light poles. It looks good on the city of Zaynesville how well they have preserved this historic asset.
Martin C — Google review
Crossing the Y Bridge is a novel experience, both amusing and impressive at the same time. I have read that Amelia Earhart once remarked that it made Zanesville the most easily recognized city in the US from a pilot's point of view. Where else can you tell someone to drive to the middle of the bridge and turn left?
Jonny O — Google review
My hometown. I brag about the y bridge and Amelia erheart connection. Lovely for raising a family.

Awesome structure of a bridge. The 'Circle of Vases' or 'Vasehenge' was a bonus find down from the bridge - west main street and north pine!

It's pretty bad when an 18-wheeler backs up to the docks that the dog food place they blocked the road for a half hour that's bullshit

Very interesting and beautiful design. It has some very interesting history as well.

Hocking Valley Scenic Railway

Railroad company
Tours
Scenic Railroads
Had a tour of the station and a ride on the train while visiting for the Ohio Museums Association conference. It was a great time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The ride seemed very kid friendly and we got a great guided tour of the surrounding areas while I took the ride.
Scot P — Google review
My husband and I went on the Fall Foliage train ride and it was beautiful. The views are amazing. The gift shop is very nice with different drinks and snacks you can bring aboard the train. Getting your tickets is easy and the train depot is really cool. The ride is very interesting and you learn about the history of the area. The only thing we didn't like was how packed each train car was and how close you were sitting to strangers. We got there 45 minutes early, 15 minutes before it said to arrive, and it was already packed. We had difficulty finding the seats we wanted. We rode on the open train car to enjoy the nice weather but we had to sit on a bench shoulder to shoulder next to other people. They definitely need to have a max capacity that allows people to have some space. They shouldn't allow us to have to be that cramped together. We definitely will arrive even earlier next time. Other than that, I recommend it.
Bryanna M — Google review
If you've never been on a train and want to say you have been, this is an inexpensive way of doing that. However, this is not what my friend and I had expected. The trip was not very "scenic" unless you enjoy seeing rundown backyards and trash piles. I understand the railway cannot control the public, but I wouldn't say this is scenic. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. The windows do not lock in place and can be dangerous. Several windows in the car we were in slammed shut from the vibrations of the train, thank goodness no one was hurt. The small town, can't remember the name, wasn't much to look at either and the "gift shop" there was a joke. But it was an inexpensive way to kill a couple of hours, just wouldn't do it again.
Sharina S — Google review
If you ever want to say you went on a train ride this is the perfect and inexpensive spot to do that. There were more views of people's backyards and work equipment than beautiful views but still really cool to see and do. The colors were beautiful since it was fall. We also stopped at a small village which was pretty cool.
Stephanie G — Google review
Great fall day adventure at the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway. Good size train and the vintage passenger cars from 1921 were well maintained. The volunteers were very friendly and helpful. They also offer Christmas and Easter time rides, as well as a New Years Eve celebration 🍾 ride. It is a non-profit organization, and they welcome donations in any amount to keep up with the maintenance.
Tim V — Google review
The experience wasn’t what I expected, especially with it being $85. I don’t want to be too harsh with my review, since I love that they provide this experience to the public. All the staff were friendly and seemed to enjoy being there! Inside of the trains were clean and they had a vintage feel. The seats were comfortable and had a lot of leg room. Like a lot of the other reviews, I also was disappointed and the views. You see a lot of run down housing and trash. I understand that Hocking Valley Scenic Railway cannot control this, but wanted others to make others aware that most of the sites are not attractive. The biggest disappointment to me was the re-enactments. We paid for a ride that included reenactments, but every single performance was performed at the back and since the performers did not have microphones we could not make out a single word that was being said. I think this should be taken into consideration for future rides. Maybe have them do one reenactment at the front, then one at the back, so all riders are included or even some type of microphone. Overall, it we are glad we did it since we had been wanting to for awhile, but it isn’t something we would go back for a second time.
Ashley R — Google review
We had a wonderful relaxing ride on the train. It was a lot of fun, and I highly recommend it making it a part of your visit to the area

Have a small museum at the end of the train line with live, 1860 actors. It’s so awesome to go back in time, LIVE!!

The Dawes Arboretum

Arboretum
Nature & Parks
The Dawes Arboretum, established in 1929 by Beman and Bertie Dawes, spans over 1,800 acres and features a historic home. The arboretum showcases various plant collections including crab apples, conifers, oaks, azaleas, and hollies. It offers a plethora of educational experiences and miles of trails for walking, driving or biking through beautiful landscaping and gardens.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Dawes Arboretum, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The sprawling 1,800-acre property offers a serene escape into nature, showcasing a diverse collection of beautiful trees, plants, and flowers meticulously curated for visitors to enjoy. The Arboretum's well-maintained walking trails allowed me to explore various themed gardens, each presenting its own unique charm. The Japanese Garden was particularly stunning, with its tranquil pond and traditional architectural elements creating a peaceful oasis. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic, adding depth to my understanding of the plant species and conservation efforts. Additionally, the interactive exhibits in the visitor center were engaging and informative, making the trip both educational and enjoyable. Overall, The Dawes Arboretum is a fantastic destination for nature lovers and families alike, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and learning. Whether you're interested in horticulture or simply seeking a serene day out, this arboretum is a must-visit.

"Dawes Arboretum is an absolute treasure! Whether you're looking for a peaceful stroll, a challenging hike, or a beautiful place to learn about nature, this place has it all. The diverse plant collections, including the stunning Japanese Garden and the unique cypress swamp, offer something new to discover with every visit. I especially love the auto tour for a relaxed experience, and climbing the observation tower for that amazing view of the hedge letters is a must. It's clear how much care goes into maintaining the grounds. A truly enriching and beautiful experience for all ages!"
Buckeye S — Google review
My wife and I visited Columbus recently and I found out about this place after looking for something peaceful and pleasant to do outdoors on our way home as we always do on road trips. Before we stopped we had some idea of the scale of this place, but when we actually got there it was truly mind blowing. The grounds are so vast and so beautiful we spent the entire day and learned a lot about trees and the various plants. I also booked a tour of the house ahead of time. We learned a lot of history on the tour and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. Plus the tour itself is very detailed and they show you more of the house than I was expecting (including an amazing surprise in the basement). I can’t recommend highly enough. It’s a lot of walking because the grounds cover thousands of acres all of which is absolutely stunning, so plan accordingly. There is also an “auto tour” around the arboretum, with places along the way to pull off and take in the sights and fresh air. It’s amazing the dedication and care that all of their marvelous staff puts into maintaining this treasure including past caretakers (who are thoughtfully and graciously memorialized in one of the outbuildings telling you about the history of the arboretum and the people who established it). Some of the cool things that we saw there have inspired us in our own gardening endeavors at home as well. We will be returning again and again! We absolutely LOVED The Dawes Arboretum. I told all of my family about it as well, because I think everyone should enjoy their splendid green spaces, fresh air, and tall trees (especially for how low the price of admission was). If you’re a tree lover, a gardener, or you just appreciate the great outdoors and aesthetic beauty in general, this is the place for you. Actually it’s the place for everybody, because it is impossible not to find peace, tranquility, and harmony while strolling their forested trails and beautiful gardens. We could all use some of that in our lives and the Dawes Arboretum certainly provides.

We are traveling in the area. Decided to check this place out. So happy we did. I know we missed things. So we will be back here before we leave. They have paved and dirt trails. Have a little gift shop. Employees were very knowledgeable and helpful. Plenty of parking.

A naturalist led the Mushroom Walk. She was knowledgeable and nice. My son really wanted to know which mushrooms were edible and she answered all his questions. Once she said to ID a fungus property would take some more work and I thought that was respectable for a walk without tools etc. The bathrooms at the gift shop / discovery center were clean. The trails were well maintained and the discovery center was interesting and designed with kids in mind.

Storybook woods! Beautiful flowers, all the trees young and old. Lots of adventures, amazing artists. So glad I bought a season pass!

We had a great experience here, saw flowers, trees, birds, and learned a ton about its history. We did the house tour snd Quinn (Hopefully thats right) was an amazing guide. She explained everything so well and made it fun to see. Very cool if you are into old stuff and history.

10/20/2024 - My family and I visited The Dawes Arboretum over the weekend. It was amazing and an unforgettable experience. There are about 12-14 miles to hike on their beautiful scenic area. You may also drive through The Dawes Arboretum where vehicles are permitted. There are all types of trees, plants, flowers, and a few wildlife. Every path you encounter and every step you take is a scene. You will also see artistry within the arboretum. There are designated parking lots throughout the arboretum for you to park and get out to explore. Per the staff member/greeter at the entrance, it is about 12-14 miles of a hike to see the entire Arboretum. There are also educational facilities within the arboretum along with a visitor center, and museum. You may bring your four-legged friends. Family space to make memories with nature. Nice and friendly staff. Cost to enter is 10.00. Enjoy.

Hocking Hills Adventures

Canoe & kayak rental service
Hocking Hills Adventures offers a variety of activities and accommodations for visitors. From camping sites and cabins to a fun center with go karts and mini golf, there's something for everyone. The highlight is the river trips, where you can choose from kayaks, canoes, tubes, rafts, and even pink canoes for five different tours. Whether you're looking for a relaxing float or an adventurous paddle down the Hocking River, there are options for all ages.
We had the absolute pleasure of having Cathy as our bus driver for a recent trip to our canoeing site, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! From the moment we boarded the bus, Cathy greeted everyone with a warm, genuine smile and a friendly attitude that immediately set a positive tone for the day. Her professionalism was evident from the start—she was punctual, organized, and clearly committed to making our journey safe and smooth. The drive itself was nothing short of excellent. Cathy navigated the route with confidence and skill, handling every turn and stretch of road with care. Even when we encountered a few tight spots along the way, her calm demeanor and expert driving made everyone feel secure and relaxed. What stood out most, however, was her personal touch. Cathy didn’t just drive us—she became part of the experience. She shared a few local stories along the way, kept the mood light with her sense of humor, and made sure everyone was comfortable and ready for our adventure. Her positive energy was truly infectious! Cathy is not just a driver—she’s a team player, a professional, and someone who genuinely cares about the people she’s transporting. We’re so grateful she was part of our trip and hope we get to ride with her again in the future. Thank you, Cathy, for going above and beyond!

Such a great experience! Cathy the bus driver was an absolute joy! Evan joined and helped us get in the kayaks. Even the ladies inside were super nice. They were very patient with the other families and kids. I did the 7 mile and it was about 3-3.5 hours worth of kayaking and a good workout. Gorgeous scenery and knowing the river never got too deep was super reassuring even though there are points you could get stuck.

This campsite was great! Far off of the main drag enough to not hear any traffic. There were only about 5 camp sites, spaced well enough for some privacy. Plenty of fallen trees, so bring a hatchet if you like cutting your own firewood. There was no grate or stove on the fire pit, so bring something if you plan to cook. Friendly staff and clean 24/7 bathroom + shower access, 5 minute walk from campsite.

Our party of four (3-Seniors & 1-Adult) had an awesome afternoon kayaking the Hocking River. Online reservation of our 2-single kayaks, and 1-tandem kayak was a breeze. Check-in & equipment selection (paddles & life jackets) was straightforward. Our driver & launch associate was knowledgeable and helpful. This was our first time experiencing this type of adventure so we had little knowledge of the route, duration, or subtleties of the river. Due to low water levels and slow flow, it took us a bit longer to complete the 7-mile journey & we had to portage our kayaks through some low spots. For newbies I’d suggest a shorter excursion and / or a day when river flow is swifter and water levels are higher. All in all it was a fun & memorable event for all of us.

Shane and his crew were fantastic . Top notch hospitality and service . The camp sites are beautiful and spacious . Hot showers and flushable toilets on the property. They are tucked back in nature yet they are conveniently located close to all the awesome stuff hocking hills has to offer .

We had a group of 22 from Hallsville Community Church. From start to finish everything was great! The front desk girl were awesome. The bus driver Cathy was very knowledgeable about the river and very entertaining. River and Lane were very helpful in getting all of our boats ready to launch everyone. Thank you!

Old Man's Cave Campground

Campground
Nature & Parks
Caverns & Caves
Storied area named after a 19th-century hermit offers dramatic rock formations, waterfalls & trails.
This campground is well taken care of. It is situated in Hocking Hills, a secluded and special place in Ohio. There are hillls, great trails, caves, and waterfalls of varied difficulties.
Rebecca R — Google review
Great area, but small spots and close together. Was there for the local attractios, so we did not really care about the site sizes. Very short trail hike to old man caves from our site. The climb back was tough.
Gary S — Google review
The campground is decent, but there’s room for improvement. While one of the bath and shower rooms has been upgraded, the other remains quite old. There’s a shortage of flushing toilets, but they do have a pool. The campsites are closely situated, offering little privacy. However, the Sherman cabin 2 we stayed in was lovely, featuring a spacious living room and dining area. It’s nestled against a wooded area, providing easy access to the lake at the back. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This place is place is "gorge"ous. I think the addition of the new large visitor center in 2018 is going to be the cherry on top of this nature's sundae. We got new light weight hiking boots that came in handy for the wet trails and rocks. There are various difficulties of trails that I feel can be recreational and for beginners. The park doesn't leave out the avid hikers with steep trails and long steps combinations. Parking is free. Wear comfortable shorts, shirts and hiking boots. Bring water or a bladder bag. Also you're going to want to bring your camera to snap all those beautiful scenes.
Richard B — Google review
Let me start by saying, "WOOOWWWW, WOW and more WOWS'" This place is THE BEST adventure the boys and I have been on. It is GORGEOUS, BEAUTIFUL, FAIRY-TALISH 😁 There is so much to do. I didn't find the 'Old Man's, however, the cave was impossible to miss. They're huge and EVERYWHERE! Around EVERY corner was something more fabulous and exciting as the last. It reminded me of "Lord of the Rings" along w "Jurassic Park". The caves looked like they were dug out in the rock walls. You could live in them they're so deep in. The roots of the huge trees were entangled all over. Trees from up above looking as if they were going to just fall out from the dirt and come tumbling down. We did see the "Devil's Bathtub". I thought it was going to be bigger but it was still AWESOME! The story is that it goes all the way down to the middle of the Earth. We looked like little ants up against the huge rock walls. There were steps dug into the side of the walls but also steps that winded out over the creek water. The coolest set of stairs I've ever seen. We did not get to finish but GUARANTEE we WILL BE BACK next wkend. Starting early. 🌞 I took so many pics but I can only add 50. Everything u will have questions about will most likely be in my pics. Btw, I didn't see any playground, there is picnic areas and it is animal friendly so bring your dog along. He/she would love it! 🐕I give Old Man's Cave a 10 ⭐
Christy W — Google review
Why are we getting charged to walk through God made (natural) caves? I have to pay to see nature? Ridiculous. Everything else was fine. It is a place to take kids as long as you have your wallet. There is a charge for everything.
Bold B — Google review
This is the official state park campground, not one of the private ones. The camp office/store had helpful employees, souvenirs, ice, firewood, and camping supplies. Our campsite was clean and typical of any state park site - fire pit, parking spot, picnic table, and nearby water fountain. The restrooms by the pool had showers with hot water. We didn't have time to go swimming, but the pool looked really nice. Beware of hungry racoons that are not the least bit afraid of people, and will steal your food.
Michael — Google review
We had two different campsites. The first was electric only and the 2nd was full hookup. Both locations were level! I saw some others were at a slight incline. Overall I am pleased with the campground. The shower house needs some investment. (Missing a door on the toilet stall). We hated the fire pits. They are raised so you couldn’t see the fire. Pretty minor complaints

This is one of the best places that I have been. Is so peaceful and beautiful there. Me and my wife go regularly. And we took our kids there and they love it as well . We'll be going back there for a very long time. We even seen some deer there and wow amazing.

AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum

Mentioned on

Museum
Specialty Museums
Motorcycle Museum is a fantastic place to learn about the history of motorcycling, and the heroes that have helped make it one of the most popular sports in the world. The exhibits are well-made and informative, and even if you know nothing about motorcycles you can appreciate the significance of this sport's evolution. This is an excellent museum for anyone visiting the area.
This is a hidden gem. This is the national organization AMA's motorcycle museum hidden in the quiet suburbs of Pickerington, OH. The museum is much larger than you would guess when first entering. Hundreds of bikes and some incredible classics. Great educational snippets along all the walls throughout. The hall features recognition for a number of very well known names. Staff member was very friendly upon entry. It's self guided, so visit at your own pace. Also includes a neat little gift store. My kids are 10 and 6 and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Joshua S — Google review
Located off the road in a nice secluded bit of nature, tickets aren't too expensive for what you get. This museum is clearly meant for people who are already motorcycle & racing enthusiasts or AMA members. For them, this is a 5-star museum. For the general history goer like myself, it's less engaging. A lot of the exhibits go into the specs of the bikes & who rode them. You do get a few anecdotal stories about moments in a rider's life that are interesting to read about, but most of the exhibits are written with the expectations of the visitor already having some motorcycle knowledge. The collection of bikes they've amassed is still impressive to look at.
Ethan P — Google review
A great museum for motorcycle enthusiasts, especially if you have children. The staff is amazing. One of the area's best kept secrets.
