This location makes it a great day trip! There are so many educational timelines in the museum. It is clean and well organized. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to take your family and explore history. The museum is free for admission, but they encourage donations to keep the museum running. We will definitely be back again (without kids)!

The layout and design of this museum is exquisite. There is so much thought in all the details and they do a wonderful job of honoring our nation’s soldiers. There is no cost for admission and is great for all ages. Don’t forget get to bring some money for the concession stand and the gift shop.

My oldest son, Brendon, graduated Advanced Infantry Training this past Thursday (10/16/25) and the graduation ceremony was held here. It was breathtaking - so beautiful and so informative! I consider myself somewhat knowledgeable in regard to History, but I learned SO much here!

The National Infantry Museum far exceeded all of our expectations and it’s easy to see why it has consistently earned the title of America’s #1 Best Free Museum. From the moment we stepped inside, we were met with an incredibly well-designed, thoughtful, and immersive experience that pays deep respect to the history, sacrifices, and heroism of the American infantry. What truly sets this museum apart is the level of detail and dedication poured into every exhibit. It covers a vast span of U.S. military history—from the American Revolution all the way through present-day conflicts—with each war and military campaign given its own distinct space and identity. The displays are not only historically accurate and educational, but they’re also emotionally powerful. You don’t just walk through history—you feel it. We were especially impressed by the interactive and VR experiences, which added a whole new level of engagement and excitement for everyone in our group. The museum does a phenomenal job of blending traditional exhibits with modern technology to keep visitors of all ages involved and interested. Our group ranged from ages 17 to 51, and every single one of us walked away not only entertained but deeply moved and better informed. The care and respect shown toward the stories of real soldiers, both past and present, is evident throughout the museum. From the Hall of Valor to the Last 100 Yards ramp—every section was meaningful, inspiring, and beautifully executed. It’s honestly hard to believe that admission is free, given the quality of the experience. If you’re anywhere near Columbus, Georgia, this is a must-visit destination. Whether you’re a history buff, military family, or simply someone who wants to better understand and appreciate the courage and sacrifice of our nation’s infantry, this museum is truly one of a kind. We left with full hearts, great memories, and a deep sense of appreciation. Five stars without a doubt.

Amazing museum, they spit all the time periods in us military history into small little rooms with great statues, very cool artifacts and displays and other stuff. The staff that greeted me was also very cool and energetic.

Why is the sky blue? Anyone who's been thru Sand Hill should be required to visit. It will take a full day to appreciate the museum and grounds. So much history.. great place to go for Family Day. Stay off the grass!

Chose tue resort for an anniversary turnaround getaway for me and my husband. It is overrated and over priced. Maybe years ago it was amazing. Event-wise could very well be amazing. Rooms ... No! Walls are thin, heard our neighbor's conversation for a good 4-5 hours til she fell asleep I guess. No microwave. One of the elevators was out of order. Cause delay for everybody. Ice machine on 2nd flor was out of order so we had to go up to the 3rd, with only one operating elevator. Yes I get it- it is a "destiny" resort. I use that loosely. The buffet was tasty but there was not enough options for the price. Hostess needs customer service training. We didn't even know it was buffet til another customer said they just go up and served themselves so we did as well. You all will not believe that thw lights were going out like the fuses were blowing. Not weather but you have too much going on and your breaker can't handle it. But nobody offered any explanation or reasoning. It is funny that we are asked for a deposit for incidentals bit we were not offered any kind of discount or complimentary anything for all that they had going on. We can't charge you a deposit. Please think real hard if you are not golfing, planning to go to their events or you are invited to a wedding just going here for your own celebration and atmosphere... it is not worth it... on another note- it seems like the town in general try to nickel and dime you, hoping you won't look at your receipts. Look at your receipts. Callaway Garden Hotel room 1 1/2 out of 10 for the money. And wifi is slower than a baby turtle. Grounds are beautiful ha a lot of greenery. Japanese Maples and different shrubs 🙃

All things wonderful here for family fun. We especially. I enjoyed the beach party at the lake and the food trucks had such a rousing selection of culinary delights. Having the trolley to transport us around the gardens and to the butterfly center was a plus. Callaway Gardens is being maintained in pristine condition. The amenities are superlative, and the grounds are well kept. The price was a value for all of the fun we had.

Had free tickets to gardens so went the end of September. Not much was happening but we rented bikes for $20 each and took time riding the 10 miles of bike path. It was nice and quiet. We stopped by the chapel which was beautiful and the butterfly aviary which was really neat, so many butterflies. We took a break by the beach and then upon returning the bikes spent some time in the discovery center which had some interesting nature information. Didn’t stay at the lodge

So I only went for the pumpkin patch, however it was so much fun. It wasn’t as big as I expected however the light path at night was fun, our little ones enjoyed it. The food was great and they had a bar for the parents which is a plus ! We will make it back for Christmas!

I took my husband here for a massage and to unwind while on his 34 hour work break. The grounds and venue were beautiful. It was easy to find and access from I65. It was very relaxing. With that said, take your wallet. Everything costs; everything. My husband loved his massage. He said he felt renewed. I had the spa pedicure. It was mediocre and could definitely use some improvement. EVERY one was nice. The workers definitely know what customer service is and they go above and beyond to provide a good experience. The rooms were beautiful, clean and up to date. The cellular service out there is as expected; nonexistent. That’s probably a good thing to unplug and really get you in the relax mode. The caveat? Ordering food in the evening. We wanted to return to the tap room after having enjoyed lunch there but there was a 2 hour wait for food orders. We decided to just get room service. Well, it was absolutely horrible. We ordered room service for dinner around 6pm. An hour later, they called us to say they were out of an item we ordered so my husband kept his room service order and I ordered a pizza from the market. Another hour later the room service food arrives. The pizza from the market was delicious, hot and much better than the burger and fries from room service. Overall: I think it’s a lovely and convenient place for a one or two nighter but we’ve definitely had a better experience for less money.

We get the yearly membership every year and go to quite a few of the events throughout the year. Our kids and us really enjoy it. They have a little bit of something for everyone. It does get busy for special events, but they do a good job of getting people in quickly at the gates considering the amount of people going through. Once you get in the cost of everything is pretty high - like $8 for a basic beer, but that seems almost normal now at places like this. The only real negative is their website. As a member it seems like the website has glitches especially when trying to buy the promised discounted tickets you get with certain membership levels. You can always call or deal with it in person, but in 2025 going quick and digital is what we've come to expect instead of having to sit on hold and wait.

This is our weekend getaway from city. We always have a relaxing time. The resort hasupgraded their amenities. The staff is welcoming and comforting. Great for couples, family, or friends trip.

Beautiful aquarium with a great variety of creatures to visit! The lighting was really nice! We had a great time. Especially enjoyed the interactive activities. I appreciated the water fountain in the aquarium. The bathrooms were really clean as well. Souvenir store needs some improvement to get more revenue. Need to reserve sea lion and dolphin shows well in advance! We didn’t know and didn’t get to see them.

We had a great day at the Georgia Aquarium. Staff were friendly and the place was spotless. The dolphin show was a blast, and I wish we had time for the sea lion show as well. My favorite part was standing in front of the huge Ocean Voyager window and watching the whale sharks and manta rays glide by. The tunnel and that massive viewing window make it feel like you are inside the tank. The shark exhibit was another highlight. Parking is paid in the deck next door, which makes sense downtown, just plan for it. Food is on the pricey side, so consider eating before or after. My only gripe is the layout, which felt a little awkward, but once you settle in it is easy to lose track of time in front of the big tank. Tip if you go: reserve seats for the dolphin show and arrive a little early so you are not rushing. I would absolutely go back. It is surprisingly relaxing to stand at that main window and let everything else fade out.

Georgia Aquarium is the best aquarium in the country. There are so many areas to explore, learn, and to be amazed at oceanic life. The shows are spectacular, engaging, and phenomenal. The tanks are massive and inspiring. There are so many undersea creatures to see in every tank. It’s truly amazing to watch the fish, sharks, anemones, and all the rest co-existing. There are beluga whales, giant turtles, otters, penguins, jellyfish, and so many more species. The performances are all top-notch. You get to be entertained while you learn about oceanography, marine biology, and other scientific topics. We splurged on the backstage tour option and it was magical. We met a few performers, got to hold some of the props, and learned even more about the amazing animals in the aquarium. We suggest at least two days to truly explore and appreciate the grandeur of Georgia Aquarium. It’s a huge, sprawling campus dedicated to education and awe-inspiration, as well as raising awareness about our oceanic friends. Everyone should visit at least once.

Definitely a great experience! Don’t miss the Dolphin and Sea Lion presentations - especially the Dolphin show, which was absolutely captivating. The presentation is entertaining, engaging, and beautifully showcases the Dolphins in an intuitive way. Beyond that, you’ll get to see a wide variety of marine life from around the world. The aquarium is well-maintained and easy to navigate, making the visit enjoyable for all ages.

Well kept and safe. We visited during a weekday afternoon and found affordable parking just a few blocks away. I do not recommend visiting this area with young children after dark unless you are well escorted. Inside the aquarium you'll find first class accommodations for guests. As you would expect, this is a wonderland for young children to learn more about marine life and explore another part of our planet that might not otherwise be available to them any other way. The aquarium can be fully explored in just one day and in only a few hours if you aren't attending any of the special programs that are offered in addition to the general admission. The venue provides clean restrooms and a cafe area to take a nutrition break or just to sip a beverage and catch your breath. The kids were having a blast and there are hands-on areas as well as many walk through opportunities that allow little ones to crawl through caves for a fun and personal experience made specially for the little tykes. The gift shop is quite expensive, but if you're well funded and looking for a pleasing way to support the aquarium, I'm pretty sure that you'll find quality gifts to share with the members of your family during your visit. Across from the Aquarium is the World of Coca-Cola nostalgia museum, giving those who still have leftover stores of energy and want to move on to the next venue a chance for additional exploration time.

Definitely big enough to make a day out of it. Kids love getting to see so many fish from so many angles. There is places to buy food too making it nice not having to go somewhere to eat then come back. Kids love getting to touch the stingray. Highly recommend going .

The World of Coca-Cola was a fun experience overall, though definitely more about the brand than the history behind it. There’s a little bit of nostalgia and storytelling sprinkled in, but most of it feels like one big advertisement — which, to be fair, is kind of what you expect when visiting the home of Coke. My favorite part was easily the picture scanners that morph your face into vintage Coca-Cola ads — such a clever and entertaining touch that makes for great keepsakes. The soda tasting room, on the other hand, was a bit too crowded to really enjoy. It’s fun in theory, but hard to savor the experience when you’re shoulder-to-shoulder with people. Still, it’s worth a visit if you’re in Atlanta and want a lighthearted, bubbly stop full of photo ops and brand nostalgia. Also please note you can find a cheaper ticket if you purchase from a third party.

A fun visit overall! The exhibits were engaging, and the atmosphere was lively and well-curated. The Coke tasting room was definitely the highlight—it felt like the most interactive and entertaining part of the experience. That said, most of the foreign soda options weren’t very good to our taste, but it was still fun to try them all. Great for families or anyone curious about the brand’s global reach. Worth checking out at least once!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! There were many exhibits and things to see. We especially liked being able to taste all the different flavors from around the world. On the downside, there were several from here in the states. I mean, I guess when you're visiting from another country here, it'd be nice, but just something we noticed. My daughter's favorite was from Germany. My favorite was from Thailand. If you know when you plan to go, save yourself a few bucks and purchase tickets on the site.

It's a good museum to visit but not upto the mark. They could have made introduction more appealing with audio visual presentation. The ticket price don't justify the exhibits except testing of beverages prepared by the group from different locations in the world. Gift shop is nice and lot of items available.

A nice family friendly place to spend a couple hours at. Right next to the Georgia Aquarium. Its a fun place really. You get to formulate your own drink as well as taste the different Coca Cola products from all around the world. Tried so many samples that I think I'm coked out for the rest of the year lol.

This place was fun, you got to try different drinks from different countries. There were definitely interactive parts. Overall very cool idea for a family trip. The history of coca-cola was nice to learn.

Had a few hours off and went to the Coca-Cola museum. Had only around 1.5 hours, but would advise to spend at least 2 hours to see and experience everything. Quit interesting history, fun to mix your own drinks and challenge how good sense of smell you got!

This was our first time visiting Atlanta, and the botanical garden was on our bucket list. I loved my visit to the Atlanta Botanical Garden! It’s a large and beautiful place to walk around and explore. Depending on the season you visit, you’ll get a different experience. I went during Halloween, and everything was perfectly themed for fall — such a lovely atmosphere! One of my favorite parts was the Fuqua Orchid Center, absolutely stunning! Still, every area of the garden is worth admiring — the flowers, trees, and plants from so many different species make it a magical place. If you’re lucky, you might even spot some frogs in one of the sections! It’s a wonderful and family-friendly spot to enjoy nature and relax. I truly recommend it! 🌸🌳🍁 Also I’m visiting from Florida.

Although not many flowers were blooming, some of them bloomed particularly the autumn varieties. The pumpkin, scarecrow, and other sculptures stood out and were eye-pleasing to admire which perfect fits the autumn season. I would had a better experience if I went in the springtime and the price of admission was on the higher side.

First time here. Came on a Tuesday around 11am. Mildly busy. There were a lot of leaf blowers running at first and workers everywhere but other than that it was peaceful. It cost $60 for two adults and $17 to park for 5 hours. We spent about 3 hours there. The indoor collections of orchids, plants and trees were our favorite part. Great water features. Overall nice garden. We would get a membership pass if we lived in the area.

If you’re looking for a quick escape from the city without driving too far, Stone Mountain Park is a must-do. The walk-up trail is about 2 miles round trip and gives you a surprisingly good workout; it starts easy, then turns into a steep granite climb that will get your heart racing. It’s short enough for beginners but rewarding enough for regular hikers. The views from the summit are spectacular, on a clear day you can see downtown Atlanta, Kennesaw, and even the Appalachian foothills. The exposed granite top has a strange, lunar feel that makes the climb feel otherworldly. If you don’t want to hike both ways, the Summit Skyride cable car is a fun option. It’s a glass-enclosed gondola that glides over the mountain and offers panoramic views. Many hikers take the cable car down after trekking up - it saves your knees and lets you soak in the scenery without effort. Just note that the Skyride ticket is separate from the $20 park entry fee, and lines can get long on weekends. The only downsides: the trail can get crowded, especially late mornings, and the granite gets slippery when wet. Bring plenty of water, good shoes with grip, and go early to catch sunrise or late evening for cooler weather. Overall, Stone Mountain is one of Atlanta’s best quick treks, a mix of natural beauty, light adventure, and a cable car view that feels straight out of a travel ad. Oh, it's a great place. we took a year's subscription, justified it from the first visit. recently was our 4th visit. there were not many people and it's an amazing place. fun holidays, lots of locations. be sure to go to the cinema on the territory. recommend!

Day trip to Stone Mountain Park. Good experience exploring the sights of Atlanta, one of it being this amazing and natural attraction. Walked around the park, took the cable car up to the “summit” and soaked in the views at the top of the stone. The views at the top were fantastic and the whole experience was fruitful. The attraction can be a bit far from downtown Atlanta, you can expect a USD 30-35 Lyft ride one way from downtown if you plan to visit this attraction. A 5* trip, and will recommend to experience once if your travels passes by Atlanta.

Hi everyone! My family and I visited this very interesting park. It was nice to climb up that mountain. If you have the chance, be sure to go up and look from above! You can see everything around you, the forest is very beautiful, and the panorama looks beautiful. I think climbing the mountain is good for your health. If the walking is difficult, there's an escalator! There's a large parking lot and plenty of entertainment. The kids really enjoyed it, and so did the adults. If possible, we'll come back here again and climb it again. There are also toilets (clean). There are trash bins along the way. There are places to eat and stay. Everything is great!

We had beautiful weather. All we need was camp and hike. We did not go on the mountain. There are a number of hiking trails and we loved the campground. It was nice to see the changing of the trees as well

Beautiful! I love driving through and site seeing. The lake was beautiful with the fall foliage along the banks. I saw rvs and park visitors enjoying their outdoor experiences as I drove through in the daytime and evenings.

The Best Fall Festival Ever! Stone Mountain Park truly outdid themselves with the Pumpkin Festival! We went as a family and were completely blown away by the "Play by Day, Glow by Night" experience. Everything was fantastic: the glowing jack-o'-lanterns, the parade, and the sheer amount of family fun. It's magical, well-organized, and worth every penny. Highly, highly recommend this for anyone looking for the perfect fall outing! Go make those memories!

Amicalola Falls is absolutely breathtaking! The views are stunning from every angle — whether you’re looking up from the base of the falls or hiking to the top. The sound of the rushing water and the mountain air make it such a peaceful escape. We enjoyed exploring the trails, and the steps to the top are definitely a workout but completely worth it for the view! The park is clean, well-maintained, and perfect for all ages. There are plenty of picnic areas, beautiful overlooks, and friendly staff throughout the park. If you’re planning a visit, take your time to enjoy the scenery — it’s truly one of Georgia’s most beautiful spots. Great for a day trip, a weekend getaway, or just a little time in nature to refresh your soul.

Amicalola Falls is an absolute must see! The waterfall is stunning, and the trails offer amazing views and fresh mountain air. The visitor center and gift shop were great especially the mini wildlife display! A huge thanks to Carla, who was so knowledgeable and friendly while helping us plan our route to the falls. The stairs up and down were a fun adventure with breathtaking views. This park is truly a peaceful, beautiful Georgia jewel. Can’t wait to return!

I had not been here since I was a child it’s become a beautiful state park! It was on the way back from a trip so I had to stop and catch a little hike to see the waterfall and I’m glad I did! The guest service in the lodge is outstanding too. Great place to grab some food to refuel afterward.

Absolutely love Amicalola Falls!!! My boyfriend and I come here several times a year. It's peaceful, beautiful, and just a wonderful experience. If you have never been I strongly recommend coming here! It's not too far to the base of the falls. If you're afraid of heights and don't want to climb the stairs, you can drive to the top, don't worry! However you experience it, it's worth the drive to witness this magnificent scenery!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at this park today. It was $5 to get in and it had a ranger station which was pretty impressive. They had information centers plus they had the souvenir section which was very well stocked. The rangers were very knowledgeable and friendly. There was a ATM on site and purified water stations by the toilets. They also had three Park stamps instead of one hours of collect patches in the wife collects postcards and magnets as well. Drive across the street from the ranger station up that road and come to your first parking space on the right. Then go down the walkway, not the stairs and about .3 mi you'll come across the middle of the falls. Then you get back in your car and go up to the top. Behind the ranger station is access to the Appalachian trail which is kind of neat. I would have liked to have hiked that but I'm too old for that now. The restrooms were very clean and we had a wonderful time.

Stunning views from the top...one of the best spots to see the fall colors! $5 entry fee to the park with a visitor center and there’s a boardwalk leading to the falls with steps you can climb to the top. You can also drive up (limited parking available).

Great experience in the caverns. Absolutely worth it. The twisting drive up and down the mountain was exhilarating. The guides were amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

The person who guide us thru this cave was so nice and informative. All the way to the end was incredible seeing all the formations inside the cave. Worth the walk to see this beautiful and amazing natural wonder.

Visited Ruby Falls and it was such a cool experience. You go down into the cave, walk through all the rock formations, and at the end there’s this huge underground waterfall — it’s honestly amazing to see in person. The lights make it look even more magical. The tour is easy to walk and the guides are friendly and explain a bit of the history. It’s a fun spot to visit, especially if you’ve never seen an underground waterfall before. Definitely worth it if you’re around Chattanooga!

Getting to the waterfall is such a fun adventure. The elevator ride down a solid rock shaft is interesting and at the bottom there is a waiting area in the cave where you gather to follow the tour guide through the cave to the waterfall. There was so many rock formations to see along the way that made the time go quickly. Our tour guide had an unique sense of humor and we had a great time! Worth the visit.

Ruby Falls is definitely worth seeing if you are in Chattanooga. We had an amazing and enjoyable time on the tour. Going down the elevator into the mountain is cool, and the walk through the cave is fun. The best part is the waterfall! The 145-foot waterfall at the end is absolutely beautiful. When they turn on the colored lights, it looks stunning! It’s truly a special scene hidden inside the earth. If you like nature I would highly recommend coming here.

We visited Ruby Falls during our trip to Tennessee, and it was truly unforgettable. The staff was incredible ,our guide was so knowledgeable and passionate, sharing lots of interesting facts about the cave’s history and formations. The cave itself is breathtaking, and the waterfall is simply stunning ,pictures don’t do it justice! Everything was well-organized, and the whole tour felt magical from start to finish. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area!

Haven’t been here in over 20 years, went this past weekend with the the kids and they had a blast. Would highly recommend for kids. One part I don’t love is the elevator ride down, they cram you in there like sardines for 40 seconds. Also the movie showing the story was kind of cheesy, but it told the story I guess for those who didn’t know it. All the staff were extremely friendly throughout the tour, and the gift shop is lovely. They also have a nice restaurant inside the building.

Great place for families and non families alike. Loved the large tanks for the fish, they looked very clean as well. Glad to see the residents had plenty of space to swim around, compared to some other aquariums I have visited. Wonderful butterfly garden as well. I enjoyed that saltwater and freshwater exhibits were separated. Fantastic views of the Tennessee River and the Riverfront area from the aquarium. Would definitely recommend a visit here, if you're in town.

My BF took me here as a b-day surprise and it did not disappoint. The exhibits were lovely and educational. The view of the river from the different levels was spectacular. We really enjoyed ourselves, we came late in the day and it wasn't crowded which was delightful and peaceful - I recommend it!

Had such a great time at the Tennessee Aquarium! The setup and design of the buildings are beautiful — super easy to walk through and explore. There’s so much to see and learn at every turn, from the sea creatures to the interactive exhibits. Definitely a fun mix of learning and relaxing. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area — I’ll let the pics do the rest of the talking! 🐠🐧🌊

This place is awesome!!! We had such a great time!! There's so much to see you could easily spend the entire day here! The only issue is parking (especially if you're disabled). We ended up having to pay to park in front of a condominium in order to have enough room for me to use my wheelchair.

Really great experience for adults and children of all ages. They have two separate buildings for aquatic life. Hands on activities exist such as touching a sting ray, turtles and stingrays. Was not expecting the butterfly garden which was really neat as well. An IMAX also exists for approximately a 30 minute show. Starting at the top floors and working your way down is recommended. Tickets are same price at gate as they are online.

We are aquarium people, and I've been here before, but my partner has not! We needed to make it a stop on our trip and we both had a blast! Every single member of staff we came across was very friendly and kind. The exhibits were beautiful and we loved seeing the variety of critters they had. I also got to pet a shark in one of the touch tanks, so yeah it was basically the best day of my life. I'm so glad I got to show him this aquarium and can't wait to go back next time we are in TN!

Overall my wife and I enjoyed this aquarium. Coming from the Georgia Aquarium which is world known as being the biggest in the United States, this aquarium was nice to visit for the first time. We both wish the Ocean exhibit was bigger and had a similar size to the river exhibit, and wish the Ocean exhibit had more sections. We think the pricing might be slightly over priced, but it's still worth it to visit if you have never been there before. We paid 40 each per person.

Absolutely loved Mercier Orchards! It’s a beautiful and wonderful family friendly Orchard. The store was stocked with so many things and it included their bakery! The baked goods and apple cider were amazing! I also loved the option to pick your own apples! Such a neat experience!

Mercier Orchards is a beautiful place. It is apple festival time of year in October so it was extremely busy and crowded, but it didn't stop me from getting their apple cider donuts, apple butter, and apple taffy. It was all worth it! Those donuts are delicious with some apple butter on top. It's a must stop to enjoy the scenery!

My husband and I visited Mericer Orchard for the first time and it is a must do in the area! We explored the shop which is very neat with lots to offer. We then got some goodies from the bakery including some of their hand pies, muffin, and apple fritter. All of these were delicious and if you visit you absolutely need to check out the bakery. We then went on a tractor tour and our tour guide was super kind and knowledgeable. You can get some really neat views from this tour. We ended our visit with some wine and cider tasting. If you enjoy hard cider, this is another thing you shouldn't miss! They offer and sell many delicious ciders. We will be back when in the area again.

Very crowded orchard! The parking situation was kind of a mess. We paid $30 for 2 of us to go apple picking which I didn’t think was bad. We went to an orchard last year in Elijay and it was way more expensive so we didn’t end up going apple picking. I will say the orchard was pretty heavily picked through but we still left with so many apples! The experience was fun and we enjoyed some apples as we walked through the trees. We stopped in the store and got a donut and a fried pie before hand. Total chaos in the store. I feel like they need a better set up for getting people through the store. The line for the bakery was so long and was kind of frustrating when we couldn’t pay there. My husband enjoyed his fried pie and my donut was pretty good but I felt lacked the apple cider flavor. The apple cider itself was really good! My husband got a sparkling cider too which was really good! Overall I would come back to this orchard.

Beautiful orchards & fun experience picking apples. The store is huge with lots of variety, but we went during (apparently) peak season and it was PACKED. Would have loved to have been able to walk around the store and shop but the crowd was intense. Lines moved decently fast but wrapped into multiple rooms. Definitely a beautiful spot and would love to visit again in the spring!

Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge, Georgia is one of the most scenic places to visit in North Georgia. The hayride through the orchard and the apple picking experience are truly memorable and perfect for families. They grow so many different varieties of apples, and it’s always fun to try something new each season. One of the best parts is their country store—everything is fresh and delicious. My absolute favorite treat is their fried pies, especially the coconut pie, which is worth the two-hour drive on its own. If you’re looking for a family-friendly day trip or authentic apple orchard experience in Blue Ridge, Mercier’s is the place to go!

I had an amazing visit to Mercier Orchards! The fruit-picking experience was so much fun, and the views are absolutely beautiful. The bakery treats, especially the fresh donuts, were delicious. Plenty of activities for kids and adults alike.

We did the middle Ocoee Trip. We had a group of 8 people in two boats. Our guides, Ace and Cullen, were awesome. This is a highly recommended activity. I strongly suggest going with this company. From Registration, training session, bus ride and the whitewater experience, it was GREAT.

Melody answered the phone when I called for the reservation and each time after, she was extremely kind and informative! Our raft guide was Henry, I PROMISE YOU HES THE BEST GUIDE THERE. He knew the river well and did extremely cool tricks with the raft. He was also very funny and personable which added even more to the experience. While I almost felt like I would died a couple of times Henry kept us very aware of when to do what, so even with our crazy tricks none of us fell out at all.

This was my first time whitewater rafting, and I can 100% say that I loved it! The staff there were super welcoming and friendly, and they all had a light-hearted, upbeat attitude, and definitely made the whole experience that much better! After a scenic drive to the dam where the rafting starts, we met our guide and learned our commands, and this began our trip down the river. I won't spoil the trip, because I definitely think you should do it yourself, but just know that it is definitely worth it. Also, quick shout out to some of our guides, TC Lee, Jack, and Hannah!

My thirteen year old son described this as “one of the best experiences of his life”. We decided to do a father son rafting trip after finding a heck of a deal on Groupon. We arrived at 10:30 for the 11am middle river trip. The facility was clean and organized and the staff was super friendly. You can leave your keys and phone with them, which felt safe. There were clear instructions on how to be safe on the water and were separated into groups. The drive on the bus was fun and the time it took to get unloaded and on the river was impressive. These guys run a well oiled machine. The trip itself was so much fun and I won’t review it so that I don’t take away some of the adventure. It was safe, a good amount of time, and worth every penny. You will get wet, like within the first two minutes. I also highly recommend leaving your phone, camera and anything else valuable back at the lodge or in your car. It’s very clear within few minutes that there’s a good possibility you’ll be swimming. A photographer will get some great photos that you can purchase at the end of your trip. Do yourself a favor and, buy the photos. This trip will be something my son and I talk about the rest of our lives. We’ve even decided to make this a yearly trip and we can’t thank the folks at High Country Adventures for the wonderful experience. Shout out to our guide Ricky, thanks for pulling me back in my friend!

I had the most incredible time white water rafting. We had a big group & some were rafting for the first time (naturally apprehensive). TC Lee was our instructor & he did an amazing job from start to finish. He was funny, engaging, & super safety conscious while giving us a ton of thrills! Im looking forward to next year!!!

We took a family of five and had a fantastic experience on the middle part of the river. Sydney was our guide and we could not have asked for a better person to take us down the River. She was kind, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable. I trusted her to keep our family safe, but also to give us a great time together.

This is our 4th time with High Country. The place is top-notch. The guides are always excellent. White-water fun at its fullest. We did the middle Ocoee class IV. Our two daughters ages 12 and 14 went down this river for the first time, Mr. Pink made sure to keep us safe and kept the fun rolling. We will be back agian! Our daughters haven't stopped talking about how much fun they had. They are ready for some Class Five with Pink!

My first time at a casino! The beginners luck was pretty sweet. We got a few drinks at Brew Brothers while waiting for check in. They were good for sure. We enjoyed playing the slots and it wasn't too crowded. Ramsay's Kitchen upstairs is absolutely amazing if just for the experiences alone. Make sure to make a reservation and be mindful of the time. Make sure the sun is still up so you can enjoy the view. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean and had pretty views. No complaints here!

MOLD - Terrible customer service. Don’t stay here. When I brought the mold videos down to the front desk to get their opinion chelsea told me that the grout turns darker when it’s wet. After explaining to her that it makes no sense I spoke to the hotel manager Roger Hawkins who also told me that they knew some of the rooms had mold but that they were tested and it’s not an issue. I asked for a copy of the report and I was told it’s not available for guests to see. When I asked what year the rooms were tested I was told that they didn’t know the year it was tested. Funny I took that video on the slot floor and talked to the slot manager alan and he didn’t seem to care or want to help. I showed it to Cee in the players desk and they also didn’t seem to care and told me to talk to the front desk. I told Roger the hotel manager that my throat was a little sore after sleeping in that room for a couple of days. His response was should I call you an EMT. I asked Roger when was the last time he was in the elevators as they were dirty, moldy and smelled. He said the elevators are not his department and he doesn’t go in them but I can speak to housekeeping. I reminded him that every guest that he’s in charge of leaves the front desk and rides those elevators. In fact guests I rode with all made comments about the mold and smell. Roger didn’t care. No service at the bar in the sports book. Sat on the backside of the bar to view the TV’s and was completely ignored by two bartenders for about 30 min. I was playing video poker, watching the games and waiting for service. Of course I watched at least 10 other customer not getting served and they walked away like I did. There’s so much more but I’m tired of typing. Overall I will NEVER stay here again.

First time visitor, overall enjoyable experience. Trenton was the first employee we met. He was the bell hop baggage person we had for check in and check out. Wonderfully nice young man, very professional and polite. We really enjoyed the Brew Bros bar drinks, the food all looked and smelled great, we ate the breakfast one day. Breakfast was very nice. Sunshine, Kimmie, and Dewayne were all very attentive and friendly. Could have easily spent all my time there. Service in the Sport Book Bar was touch and go, depending on which server was there. I thought Wilma was a tad abrupt and chose to get my drinks from the other bar in the casino. Really enjoyed talking with Jaimi. We got our drinks from her the rest of the time. That casino bar had cool decor and lighting and comfortable seating. The non smoking casino is very clean and has fresh cool air pumping throughout. The area was cleaned up regularly and promptly. Lots of games to choose from and not too big you can't find your friends when they wander to other machines or tables. We had lots of fun playing and drinking. The outdoor smoking area was close by and protected from rain, with outdoor heaters, although a bit cramped and small. There's another smoking area up the escalators, across a small lobby and out the door. That one wasn't as crowded, just slightly farther away, much more spacious, with a beautiful view and small walking path with a small waterfall. Both Panda Express and Moe's were very good, and Starbucks as well. The arcade doesn't have skeeball, I'm not much of a gambler, so I was hoping they would. I did go to the bowling alley, and it was very nice. Sixteen lanes, and a few pool tables. The rooms were clean and we didn't have any mold issues and neither did our friends in two different rooms. No bathtub, but a large shower with very nice shampoo conditioner 2 in 1 and body wash. Comfortable beds. If you read all that, I hope you have a great time and win big!

Hotel wise, the property is on the overpriced side of things in my opinion. There are much cheaper options in town. The beds aren't the best we have experienced from other properties, but they are ok for 1 - 3 nights. Getting a comp stay obviously makes the value immensely better. If they are free the rooms are great. So stay when it doesn't cost you anything. The real attraction for us is the casino anyhow. We love that it's smoke free. Whole we don't see every game that people pay on YouTube there, it's still a pretty great selection that has something for everyone. That's probably why they keep offering us free rooms LOLz. If you're just coming for the casino, then I highly recommend it. We drive up from Atlanta about once a month to play here. Sometimes just for the day, other times for a couple days at a time. Always fun for us.

First time back since the expansion and very impressed. Our room was a king In the new Valley Tower. Loved the easy access to the parking deck and straight down to the Casino. The slots were paying well and the staff was amazing. Excellent as always Brew Brothers food.

Absolutely terrible casino security should be fired, I flew in from Michigan with my STATE ID too Atlanta, drove with my family for an hour from a little small town but once I’m here I can’t be on the casino game floor because I’m not the age of 31 and my STATE ID didn’t work that’s what the main security guard said. Now that is completely bs because every state law is 21. So I googled what’s the age of consent in North Carolina for gambling, funny enough it’s 21 what a surprise. So I ended up calling the help desk told them what’s going on we talk for a little, then she hands me off to the main security guard I just talked too inside. I told him what’s going on then he proceeded to tell me I can’t gamble unless I have an actual driver license not an STATE ID and he didn’t bring up anything about being 31. So please be professional look at all the pictures and tell me where does it say I need a driver license or I need to be the age of 31. Not in one single picture does it say I need an actual drivers licenses not STATE ID nor do I gotta be the age of 31. Walking in the casino said must be 21 and up didn’t say anything about drivers license or age. Please update your casino page because this is completely bs and I can see why yall didn’t get the approval from the 4th casino the staff is built of lies, now with that said please update the website and get new security guards

They won't let you have your own cup for ice water, well they will one day but not the next so they aren't consistent at the casino part. The rooms were clean and spacious, plenty of towels and pillows. Beds were very comfortable. Staff taking our bags up and back down were great, very friendly and helpful! Will visit again!

It's a great location in the middle of endless curves, mountain trails, and fishing. Large garage to put group motorcycles is a huge asset. We even had a hot tub at the end of the day to warm up and relax muscles in. House works well for groups with 4 bedrooms in the treetops house, but needs some TLC on windows. Looking forward to coming back again someday.

The ridge was awesome. Big garage and pool table. Parked 8 bikes easy! Clean linens and bathroom. The jacuzzis seemed nice but never used it. I'll be back for sure!

Our family took the Nantahala Excursion Steam Engine on Oct 3rd and it was amazing. We definitely recommend the open air car if the weather is nice, like it was when we went. The views were great and the overall ride was a good length. The website said 4.5 hours total but we arrived back at the station 5 hours after we departed. It gives you time to take plenty of pictures and videos as well as time to just sit back, relax and enjoy the views. During the layover, we opted to grab lunch from the food car and eat at the picnic tables by the river instead of attempting to get food at one of the restaurants at the NOC. It looked busy and an hour isnt enough time to make the walk, get your food, eat and be back on-board in time. We really enjoyed the ride and highly recommend it.

This was a great experience! We were in town for our anniversary and this was a perfect 1/2 day trip. We left at 1030 and saw some beautiful scenery along the way. Some interesting facts were shared with us such as the train wreck scene from The Fugitive was filmed on this rail line and we got to see the wrecked train, which is still there, along the way. We arrived in Dillsboro and had about 1.5 hours for lunch and looking around the small town. The ride back was fun because we saw things from a different perspective. Well worth the time investment! Highly recommend this if you like trains and wonderful mountain scenery!

The Great Smoky Mountains Railroad scenic railroad located in Bryson City is a wonderful experience that should be recommended for anyone and everyone that appreciates the beauty of the Smoky Mountains and Western North Carolina. A great ride for families, couples, individuals, and even large groups, age does not matter. Regardless of the time of year, you will have an opportunity to enjoy endless scenic views. The typical route will last roughly a total of four hours, and can be most enjoyed on an open air car, especially if you are able to secure seats on the south side of the train. This affords the better vantage point. Depending on your class of seats, light refreshments and snacks are available and sufficient for a picnic afternoon, but don’t expect to be wowed by food. The town of Bryson City is also an attraction in and of itself, and the railroad company has installed several attractions and shops for visitors, including a historic train museum. We selected the Nantahala Gorge route which afforded beautiful views of the Nantahala River, along with a great number of tributaries, lakes, and mountains. The one very glaring and very negative part of the experience is parking. Parking is an absolute nightmare, especially on days with more full trains. Despite an enormous staff on site to direct guests, there is either not enough parking to accommodate all visitors, or they have not efficiently crafted a method for directing traffic. We arrived on site 40 minutes prior to our schedule train ride (2 P.M.) and did not depart our car in a parking spot until after 2 P.M., despite having traveled less than 500 feet. Thankfully the train was held, but the delay was also unexpected and unnecessary. That would be the only variable preventing us from a second visit. Also, in case of inclement weather, there is no covered seating adjacent to the train station to accommodate visitors waiting to board the train.

What a great time!! We decided to get tickets in an open air car so we can get better views and for the picture opportunities and it did not disappoint. The views are spectacular especially sitting on the station side of the train going to the NOC. The bridges and and the lake views almost are worth the ride alone. We will definitely be back for another ride.

We reserved the 9am ride and it was very cold. We brought blankets and hot coffee. Conductors were very informative. Scenery was absolutely breath taking. Extremely relaxing. 1 hour stop was along the tracks with not much to do with the time given. Lunch was rushed with a mediocre bbq sandwich which was overpriced at a food truck located along a park. We didn't purchase the bag lunches. Other than that, the trip was a great experience. We rode in the open air caboose which allowed for the best pictures.

Magical ride through the mountains! We took the Tuskegee Expedition on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, and it was an unforgettable experience — especially with the beautiful Christmas decorations! From the moment we arrived, everything felt festive and well-organized. The staff was cheerful, helpful, and really added to the holiday spirit. 🎅🏼🎁 The train itself was cozy and clean, with twinkling lights, garlands, and Christmas music playing softly in the background. The scenic ride through the Smokies was breathtaking — we even spotted some snow-dusted peaks! ❄️🚂 Snacks and drinks were a nice touch, and the narration about the area’s history made the trip even more enjoyable. It’s the perfect mix of holiday magic and mountain charm — great for couples, families, or anyone who loves a good Christmas experience. We’d absolutely do it again next year! 🌟❤️

We did the Sunday, 10-19-2026, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Great Smoky Mountains Railroad Train Ride in an Open Car from Bryson City, NC. Train ride and Great Smoky Mountains were awesome and beautiful. The uncooked cheesy ham and potatoes were nasty. The uncooked biscuits were awful. The fruit cup they bought at the local grocery story is what you feed kids. Overall the food was absolutely horrible and an extreme disappointment. If we had a do over, we would NOT have bought tickets in a car that included their nasty “fancy” food but instead bought tickets in a car that did NOT include food but we would have brought our own food or bought the box lunch of sandwich and chips. Surely they could not screw that up. Plus if cold, most of those type of sandwiches are served cold. I thought the stop toward the end at their food truck was just for them to make money since most people threw away the nasty food and had to buy food at their food truck. The stop to me was very very bad PR - public relations and corporate greed. It really put a bad light on the overall experience. Overall the nasty food and their stop for more money in their pockets did not overshadow too much the awesome beautiful train ride and the Great Smoky Mountains. We would do again, but differently.

Such a cool experience! Saw the billboard while driving to our campsite at Elkmont and decided to check it out. We didn’t buy tickets in advance, and only waited a few minutes to get on the next available tour. Our guide was great! (I think her name was Aliyah?) She made the tour a lot of fun with her commentary. It was pretty strenuous with a lot of stairs and uneven ground. It was slippery in some parts where the ground was wet. Be prepared- wear comfortable shoes with good grip. The views are definitely worth it. The caverns are beautiful on camera but truly breathtaking in person.

It was a wonderful experience—it’s not every day you get to see a real waterfall inside a cavern. Absolutely beautiful! The cave is filled with fascinating ancient formations and an underground river. At the end of the tour, we even got to taste fresh spring water straight from the waterfall—it was crisp, mineral-rich, and delicious. The story behind this place is truly captivating.

The coolest cave we have ever been in. Loved that we got to hike up and down a bit. It made it feel very adventurous. Conway was the best kind of tour guide. Great with the kids. Very patient with the entire group. He made the tour so fun with his humor and willingness to answer all of our questions. Including the selfy he took while taking our family picture. Be sure and tip him extra. Highly recommend

Definitely one of the top caves I have been to and I have visited a lot in different areas across the USA. This is well worth the visit! We had a great tour guide (Ellie) and all the staff was helpful and friendly. Use caution if you have limited mobility. There are a few sections you have to be able to crouch low and climb up/down uneven stairs. I think this adds to the charm of the cave because it has not been overly developed but it does mean you need to be stable, balanced, and have decent mobility. Overall I highly recommend!

It's a great concept. The caves themselves are really, really cool. It's awesome and the tour guide (Brandon I believe) was very knowledgeable and fun. The issue is with the groups. I feel like there needs to be a limit on group size because it gets insanely packed with 4 families of 4+ people including young kids. The tour felt very rushed because at each stop everyone was stopping and taking their time getting pictures and not being considerate of anyone else trying to get any. I went with my fiance as an engagement celebration and we got 2 mediocore selfies because no one would let us get a chance to get any good ones, everyone was coming in front of us or behind us or kinda pushing us out of the way. We had a very kind woman offer us a picture twice, the first time we didn't get a chance and the second in front of the water fall I was about to hand her my phone and a family butt in front of me and my partner and we didn't even end up getting one. We were right behind the tour guide the entire time and still didn't get much time or picture opportunity so I can't even imagine being at the back. Overall not a very good experience for us and we're both very disappointed and upset. I hope they limit group size. The walkways aren't that big in some areas too. Our experience was not worth the $50+ we spent for us two.

Caverns were cool. Staff is super friendly. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Steps to get back to the surface were many and very steep but was worth it. If you have breathing or heart problems I recommend staying above ground as coming back out is very strenuous

What a great experience exploring the wonders underground. The tour guide was very informative throughout the tour. Beautiful well lit walkways, watch you head in certain areas Along the path. Huge open caverns and unique formations abound. See complete darkness and one of the tallest underground waterfalls. You’ll love the history of the caverns and how it was discovered, great experience visiting here.

Gage is wonderful and kept the tasting going with his enthusiasm and energetic personality. His knowledge about the different products is unbelievable. You can tell he really loves his job and big on promoting not only the products but the company as well.

We just left this establishment and had an ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL TIME!!! We had Judge Abbey for our tasting and she "held court" above & beyond fabulous!!! She was very funny & knowledgeable! She gave great ideas for mixing the different flavors of moonshine once home! We would (and WILL) come back, hoping we get Abbey to make our tasting humorous, more fun, and soooo enjoyable!

We signed up for a free tour of the distillery and it was so awesome to learn about how they make their moonshine!! The $5 tasting was also great and Josh was a funny bartender! This tasting and the staff were more engaging than other tastings we tried and places visited.

Out of all the tastings we did, this was the most fun and we liked the samples the best! Payton was such a fun bartender and kept us coming back each day. They also have a bar in the back where you can try some of the flavors they don’t serve during the tasting!

The guy we had during our tastings was hilarious, and you get a good amount to sample too. We bought a few jars to take home because we got a good deal.

We had amazing experiences at all 3 tasting options!! DK went above and beyond to make sure the Behind the Stave and Roaming Man tours were amazing. If you can catch Rob Ham for a tasting- do it!!

$5 for 12 unique samples of Tennessee Moonshine. I was referred by a couple that I met on a horseback ride. “When in Tennessee, one must try Tennessee whiskey”! The samples were delicious, but the best part was our server Ben! He was hilarious and made the experience memorable. Highly recommend it and you’ll love the $5/pp coupon that can be combined with anyone else in the group.

Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies is an amazing spot for both kids and adults! It’s much bigger than you’d expect, with tons of exhibits to explore. One of the highlights is the moving conveyor tunnel, you’re surrounded by sharks, rays, and all kinds of sea life as you glide through. There are interactive displays, fun photo ops, and even a penguin walk parade that’s a must-see! The penguins are adorable and it’s a unique experience you won’t find at most aquariums. A great place to bring the family, unwind, and learn something new. Definitely worth the trip!

Had a blast, loved the small aquarium setting, pleased to know they're sponsored by the San Diego Zoo and Conservation, seen things here that we haven't other aquariums like the sea dragons magnificent interesting creatures! We will definitely be returning here with our family's, and Gatlinburg was amazing in itself. Oh and the Dragon room was very informative with great history as well as several live of modern day dragons.

The glass bottom boat ride is a must! We had a good time, but for the price of admission we did expect some more sea animals. The shark lagoon area was our favorite; we went through a few times seeing something new each time. The parking garage behind the aquarium is the most accessible area for parking.

Wife and I went on a Thursday morning. Same time as hundreds on 2md and 3rd graders on a field trip. While it was fun watching kids see and learn about nature the chaos with all these screaming and running kids brought our enjoyment down a notch. The tunnel under the tank is incredible to see. Penguins never disappoint. Great location and a lot of other Ripley attractions and within a 10 min walk max. If in Gatlinburg I suggest you go here.

Very good small(ish) aquarium. Definitely a must see for the kids and sea life enthusiasts on your trip! Fair warning, they are a bit pricey, but it's not horrible. They have a daily parade of penguins at 1:15pm as well. HIGHLY suggest though that you go early right when they open to avoid the crowds!

Definitely worth the visit. A little crowded, but it was just before a holiday week. So much to see. Some interactive exhibits. Huge play area halfway through for kids to climb around and get a little energy out. Couple eatery places inside for a drink & snack.

Loved it! Many new attractions even since 2024. The fish all look great. It's very clean. Expect to spend at least an hour or 2 taking your time walk through. There is a kids play area and a food court near the end.

Nice public area. A good mix of stores, restaurants and attractions. Very clean and well kept. The fountains are fun to watch, especially when the scheduled shows occur. Restrooms are kept clean and well stocked. Free parking is nice with trams bringing you from the parking lot.

My pictures are from the gigantic wheel. It's really easy to get on, I definitely recommend to get the unlimited tickets, I promise you that you won't get tired of the views and the experience. Staff was really nice. There're plenty stores for gifts, memories, pictures, candy, food. It all in one place. Rides for kids and adults. The atmosphere was fantastic. The Island is always a pleasure to visit. I love walking around and checking out all the shops. This recent visit was especially fun because there were dinosaurs! My best friend and I decided to do the dino "scavenger hunt" and we had tons of fun spotting them all. The bonus gift at the end was nice too!

Fun and diverse. It is a little crowded. However, there is so much to do. Free parking and a nice ambiance, dinosaurs included. Lot's of shopping to do from food, clothes and typical mountain stuff. Lot of entertainment and dinning for all tastes and budgets. Keep in mind that everything is paid individually, so it adds up quick.

A great place to shop or just walk around! I loved the jurassic theme! The Dino exhibits was so neat! And don’t even get me started on the fountain lol. I LOVE fountains and this is one of the best!

A family friendly amusement park, with lots of thrill rides and AMAZING shows. We went during the Christmas celebration, and the lights were breathtaking. The Christmas in the Smokies show had a live orchestra, and the singers were outstanding. Going in November, on a weekday, made for super short lines. My family went on all the rollercoasters, and some of them 4-5 times. My daughter and my favorite coaster was Fire Chaser. It had a super cute theme, and is a less intense coaster. My son and husband liked Flying Eagle, but it is definitely a coaster made for thrill seekers. Our longest wait was for cinnamon bread, and it was well worth the 20-30min wait. Lunch was typical theme park food quality, but it might have just been hit and miss for us. There is something for everyone, and I really appreciated the family and faith focus.

Almost no lines when we went. Everyone was pleasant, do note that parking is $25 on top of the tickets. Food is priced like most theme park ($20 for an order of chicken tenders and fries with a soda). The establishment was clean and staff were helpful. The older staff were far more energetic and enthusiastic than the younger her ride operators. I do recommend doing the train ride as it gives a good tour of the park and is an experience in itself.

Such a great time! The whole park was decorated for Halloween and was so charming once it got dark. The rides rocked, I particularly loved Lightning Rod, pictured here in my review. It’s the fastest rollercoaster in the world and it felt that way! I also particularly enjoyed Barnstorm; a massive swing that gave a real thrill. Overall the park is themed wonderfully, fun to explore, and definitely worth visiting again and again.

Dollywood is fantastic! This was our first visit but won't be our last. Great holiday decor up already in mid-November made it feel like the holidays. We enjoyed it more than we thought we would. Great selection of roller coasters, enough to satisfy any enthusiast. Also a good selection of medium and lower intensity rides for families and all. Carnival games with good prizes. Good food choices. Do NOT miss the Cinnamon Bread (available at the bakery as well) and do not wait until the end of the day to buy it as the lines get long. Highly recommend buying tickets in advance and arriving early (about 45 minutes to an hour before park opens). Arriving too late means parking far away and a long walk or tram ride to get into the park. It's a spread out park across hilly terrain so you're going to walk a lot.

1st time visiting. One of the nicest amusement parks we've visited. Very clean and they've paid alot of attention to details in the decorating. Majority of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Plenty kid-friendly areas and rides, but also, plenty of extreme thrill rides as well. Not to compare, but a Disney-like experience, in a much more laid back, down-home, relaxing atmosphere. Very well done, we'll be back. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our visit to Dollywood! We got there early and parking was very easy. We went to the Lightning Rod coaster first, what a rush! The train was delightful. Everything was beautiful, the hills were covered in fall leaves. That cinnamon bread is to die for! Every coaster was exciting and thrilling and did not make me feel sick. They felt very high end. I giggled a lot on the fun fire brigade ride. It was so quarky and silly and caught me by surprise. The Christmas decorations were plentiful and it felt like every structure was lit up. The Dolly Experience was so heartfelt abs inspiring. It felt like she was expressing who she was and sharing rather than showing off. The pink sparkly Christmas decorations in that area were so unique and every girl's dream. The gift shops had mostly decently priced items that were much more affordable than other theme parks. The staff were all friendly and it was clean. Dollywood knows exactly what their brand is and it doesn't feel like they are trying to compete with anyone.

We had the most wonderful time on our Lower River trip with the kids. Our guide was a delight and we felt we were in good hands through the whole tour. It was a first time for most of us and everyone loved it so much we’re dying to go back. The river was beautiful and on the Lower River trip there was enough excitement to be fun while also having plenty of time to enjoy the view and chat with others on the boat. Highly recommended!

Our family of 3 had an awesome time! Perfect amount of thrill and beautiful scenery. My 8 year old son was nervous at first but Bart, our guide, made him relax and he loved every minute of the river. Bart "nailed" the experience! We will definitely be back!

All four of us were first timers and I am not a swimmer and she made the experience an amazing one for all of us. Booked thru trip advisor as one of the planned events on my Bday tour to Gatlinburg/ Pigeon forge. This was the best and most value eccentric tour I did out of 4. Courtney Shoemake our river guide made this a very fun and memorable experience. I do like the organization and extra thought put in here. All the guides have pictures on the wall with their venmos vs alot of places want u to hunt them down or give cash. Big thumbs up on that! Og I was scheduled for the upper pigeon River which has the lvl 4 rapids but the upper river was closed due to interstate flooding. Unlike apparently some other tours that just canceled ppl for upper river (according to other people I met elsewhere the next day) they just switched us to a longer stretch of the lower river. Perfect thing to do to enjoy the scenery and the water is nice and cool there's even a stretch they let u swim in. A good HR and half -2 hrs of occasional paddling. *Highly recommended to bring swimming trunks or swim gear and water shoes. Big parentheses on water shoes. You need something that can get wet but allow u to shove your feet in the nooks and crannies of the raft so u don't get knocked off. If not u can buy some on station ** Advisable to arrive very early . You need enough time to park, check in, get dressed, and get ready to get organized into the tour and catch the bus to the start point. They send an email about it the day of but if you're like me that's prob far too late of a notification to rearrange times. I think they're pretty flexible with it I arrived with about 15 min to spare so I'm pretty sure I got flexed into the 1:00 tour. There is a bathroom with a shower to get dressed in with stalls. They have lockers (paid for) but honestly if u have a phone water pouch your keys and phone can fit in there and u can catch the entire trip on the video if u secure it right. Otherwise a go pro or insta (waterproofed camera in housing) can prob catch the trip and scenes for u. They do have a picture package however it is 36$. And only 12 shots which ,depending on your raft orientation and seating arrangement, may not have many of u in it. ( I think with mine I could only clearly be seen in maybe 3) It is shot on one section of the river. You get a link to download via text or email. There was a food truck on site( don't know if it was a weekend thing or not) and it was great, bc Hartford was about an hour away from where I was staying, to have hot food after 2 hrs plus. *** Side note apparently most of the guides apparently stay near the base camp they have neat lil cabin with western names they get to have for 120$ a month as a guide! Nice I definitely want to come back and try the upper river with the same company as I had an amazing experience and hope other do as well. Almost makes hertz messing up my original trip last October worth it ( as this was not available at all in my Original planning)

We had a family of 6 and used SMO to do white water rapids for the afternoon. It was a gorgeous day in August (temp around 75). According to our fabulous and amazing guide Eleanor (get her if you can!!), the post hurricane river landscape has changed dramatically, but we still had a lot of fun! The SMO buildings are pretty much brand new (built in Feb 25) because of that hurricane as a result. Everything about the experience was great, and I would highly recommend it.

Had a great experience rafting with Miami as our guide. Staff were fun and competent, buildings were under construction following Helene but were coming along great. It was sad seeing the destruction TN faced in the hurricane, but good to see the area and businesses recovering. The river itself was awesome. We opted for the 2hr tour for ages 8+. Nothing too crazy but definitely enjoyable.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cumberland Falls SRP. Nice historic lodge with all modern amenities. Very clean room but the queen room was little small. Comfortable bed. Very quiet easy sleeping room. The lunch buffet was good, the dinner buffet was great, restaurant staff most excellent hospitality. The only option continental breakfast was sad for those that enjoy a hearty breakfast. Great location near the gorgeous waterfall. Easy parking.

The park is gorgeous! Love that there are paved trails so a wheelchair, stroller, walker, etc are able to go down the path to see the falls and river. The park was VERY busy. We arrived on a Friday around noon. The main parking lot was full so we crossed the bridge to a pull-off parking lot. There was a trail head that took us to the opposite side of the river! Perfect! We got to see the falls, took a strenuous hike to another waterfall, and there were few people. This trail is not paved and is a level 8 out of 10 for difficulty. LOVED it!

One of the best places to go when I want to just get away. The falls are amazing. There's easy access for those who can walk flat surfaces. There are trails and stairs for those who want to put in a little more effort. There's a small beach area at the for of the falls where pet owners take their dogs to play in the water. It's amazing!!

Rooms were clean but dated furniture and furnishings. Bathrooms need remodeling, no towel hanger or hooks on bathroom door for hanging clothes or towels. No labels on soap, shampoo or conditioner dispenser in shower and no soap on sink. Check in was great! Lodge is beautifully decorated for Fall. Beautiful view on outside patio!

The cabin, which is a duplex is just the bare minimum. It worked for us. We couldve used some heat or an extra blanket. Had a good night's sleep and coffee in the morning. Thats all we needed. You have to drive into Corbin to get food if the restaurant isn't open, which was our case. We got take out and ate at the falls. There were hardly any people there. It was lovely.

This place was Exquisite and amazing...absolutely BREATHTAKING!! And the prices were fantastic for a luxurious place as this is!! You can't beat it. Trails all around, that you can walk on and see breathtaking views!! Would recommend this place to anyone that enjoys this type of thing... You won't regret it.!!!

Waterfall and adjoining trails are excellent! Campground is small, mostly for tent camping. Our trailer is only 17 feet, so we fit, but ones much bigger would not. Got to see the moon bow and I can honestly say the views from the trail during the day were more impressive.

Fascinating tour and introduction to the world of horse racing. I had no idea as to the complexity and tradition behind this historical way of life. You can walk through on your own but I would not have gained the appreciation for all that goes into this organization had it not been for the tour and our gracious guide, Carol Sue.

Awesome place for kids on saturdays in October! 8a-10a it’s FREE, watch the horses practice! Kids games, arts and crafts, fun giveaways, stickers, concessions, good place to relax, chill and enjoy the track! They have the headless horseman walking the concourse once during that time! Awesome place to visit! You can visit the track for free every morning to view the morning workouts until 10am! Absolutely beautiful track and grounds. You are also able to walk throughout the grandstands and tour the property on your own. Very nice!

I loved having the opportunity to view of these beautiful horses exercising. They are awesome athletes that deserve huge respect. The facility is beautiful and our guide gave lots of great information and track history. Would definitely recommend.

What a fun day trip! Tips for visiting: 1. There are guys that will teach you how to read the program and how to make smart bets. 2. Wait to see the horses and the jockey before you bet. They will walk outside the betting area. Get a vibe for how they are doing today. 3. You can bet $1+ for any race. Bring cash. 4. They will ask you, what race, and what horse number, and how much your bet. Look at your ticket, to make sure they have you what you paid for. I trusted the person heard me correctly and it was the wrong horse. I was upset, but I also should have looked at my ticket. 5. You can bet for a horse to “Win” (1st place), or “show”1st, 2nd, or 3rd). I enjoyed betting to win on a long shot who looked good or had a solid name, and then bet on a horse with solid trainers/ owners and better odds to place. Find your own rhythm, but this was exciting to me and I won twice.

This was a lot of fun. Keeneland is a great experience. We walked around the beautiful property. It was interesting to learn about betting on the horses. The staff were very friendly. It got really busy in the afternoon. Consider taking an Uber, the parking lot is a little crazy.

Went for a dog show. Nice venue, clean. Rented stall for grooming space, that was great! Lots of room. Enjoyed seeing the horses showing and in pastures on way out. Lovely grounds! I noticed they have pony rides for kids and horses for adults, I assume for trail rides.

What a wonderful and relaxing experience! Being in Kentucky, home of The Kentucky Derby, my initial thought was that this place was strictly about the thoroughbred but I was so mistaken. They covered every type of horse, horse event, history of the lineage of horses, and so much more! It was truly a great and educational experience. Everyone was nice, professional, and encouraged us to ask questions and had plenty of answers. Such a rich history at this 1,200 farm, filled with horses to pet. A review doesn't do it justice. You need to experience this place. Everything was on a schedule (if you like structure as I do) and timed at a leisurely pace so you can get to the next event on time at a comfortable pace. Or you can experience it on your own schedule. So much h to do! This place needs to be on your bucket list. Entrance pricing is very reasonable and so are items at the gift shop. Make a day of visiting history!

When visiting the Kentucky Horse Park I have had nothing short of an amazing experience. The Horse Park is in a great and easily accessed location, being right off the highway. The Horse Park has a great show facility. The rings have good footing and are very spacious and well kept. The big grass cross country field is every horse persons dream. Along with the layout of the horse park is really nice with having the horse show on one half and the museum and other activities on the other side. The museum is very easy to get to and has tons of parking. It was also super fun to have the chance to meet the horses that live in the big barn and the people who care for them. It was super interesting to get to walk though the other side of the horse park because I spend most of my time horse showing there. The horse shows are always done so well having food trucks and plenty of fun thing to do other than show! Overall a great experience every time.

Great experience! So much information and learning experiences about the horses. They have a daily schedule that gets followed everyday and is a nice way to plan your visit. You can also visit the various horse barns at any time during the day to visit the horses. The trolley ride was fun and a nice little tour of the park. Admission ticket also includes entry for the next day!

Absolutely loved our visit to the Kentucky Horse Park! It’s one of the most well-organized and family-friendly places we’ve ever been to. Everything is thoughtfully laid out, and it’s very clear how much effort goes into making it enjoyable for both kids and adults. I was so impressed with how they use every barn in a creative way—you can tell they’ve thought about how to turn every part of the park into something entertaining and educational. The museum was a highlight too—super informative, well put together, and beautifully presented. But what stood out the most for me were the people. Everyone working there is incredibly passionate, kind, and genuinely seems to love what they do. They smile, they engage with visitors, and they talk about the horses like they’re family. It made the whole experience so warm. The horses themselves? Huge, clean, friendly, and so well cared for. My kids had the best time petting them, taking pictures, and just being around them. It felt like being on a peaceful, happy farm, and the weather made it even better. We really enjoyed being outside together as a family. One thing I really appreciated was how they honor the horses’ history and origins. They give credit to the countries and places that donated them, and everything is well documented with lots of interesting stories. It adds a deep, respectful touch to the whole experience. Truly, it’s a special place. A must-visit if you’re in Kentucky. So enjoyable from start to finish. 🐴🌿😊

Going to Kentucky Horse Park was a wonderful experience. The horses were beautiful, well cared for and we were able to pet them. Terrific people available to explain about the horses and answer questions. The museum was filled with all sorts of plaques and various horse-related items. Sandwiches were good at the cafe but I'd pass on the French fries next time. All-in-all a great day trip.

I’m a freshman at the University of Kentucky and recently visited the Kentucky Horse Park for the first time, and it honestly surprised me how big and detailed it is, since then I’ve been back at least 5 times in just a few weeks (mainly for fishing because all water holes are public access). The park isn’t just a few horses in fields it’s got museums, barns, trails, and a campground all in one place. You can walk through different barns that focus on different breeds and learn about the history of Kentucky’s horse culture, which is actually pretty cool even if you’re not super into horses. The shows and demonstrations are fun to watch, and the staff are usually friendly and ready to answer questions. I did notice that depending on the time of day there aren’t always a ton of horses out but there’s still plenty to see. The trails and open areas are peaceful, and it’s a nice break from campus life. It’s worth visiting at least once while you’re at UK to get a feel for what makes Lexington horse country.

We had a great experience visiting the Ark Encounter! 🕊️ It’s an incredible and detailed display of the ark that Noah built to save his family and the animals from the great flood. Walking through it really brings the story to life — there’s so much to see, learn, and reflect on. The exhibits are beautifully done and filled with fascinating biblical history. 📖 “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.” — Genesis 6:8 If you ever have the chance to visit, it’s absolutely worth it — a truly inspiring and faith-strengthening experience! 🌈

What an amazing experience! No amount of videos or photos can do justice to this place. Its a once in a lifetime experience. I came on Saturday and it wasn't as busy as I expected. Best time to visit is November less crowds. There is so much to see. Be prepared to walk for four hours if u wish to see a lot. They are four decks but fourth deck was closed for repairs. No need to buy tickets online.. the kiosk is pretty fast and hardly any waiting. The staff are all very nice and guided everyone with courtesy and respect. The tickets also include visiting the zoo. Absolutely recommend. I had a great time exploring it all.

It was worth the visit. Recommend for 1 complete day trip, but depends if travelling with kids, as there are activities for kids. The entire Arc encounter was indeed an amazing opportunity to visit. Most of the info provides insights of how Noah’s Ark could have been, but still few details not-mentioned-in-Bible are added, to complete the narrative I believe. Overall a good trip. Plenty of parking available for $15/day. Staff are excellent and friendly. Plenty of options to eat. We had the buffet, food was good. There are plenty of video sessions available. Consider spending time there, as there is heaps of useful info to learn. Please check the “plan of the day” details and plan accordingly. Have a good trip!

Incredible experience! So glad we went. We spent 4 hours just walking inside the Ark, we watched one movie about Noah's interview, very well done. I took photos of many signs to read later at home. Loved the plants outside. The only animal in the enclosure was a big lizzard so maybe the others are gone foe the season. $15 parking fee was a surprise. And the first thing we saw was a row of porta lets, no bathrooms available in the ticket building. This was really disappointing. This really could be improved, even making porta lets inside a nice building would be better. But actually bathrooms should be built, especially since food is sold there and I'm sure employees use a bathroom. The bus ride employees were polite and helpful with pushcarts for my mother and others. A Hampton Inn is right next to the parking lot. Would be nice to buy the combo ticket for Creaction museum and stay overnight. We were offered elevators too but the floors have nice ramps to walk so we chose to walk.

Great family fun- an enjoyable way to learn about the Ark. so much more- ZipLine, carousel, restaurants, cafes, zoo animals, gift shops, theater videos… so much to enjoy. Easy parking, parking $15 cars, oversized vehicles $20. You ride a bus to get to the Ark. plenty of open space. Interior displays to enjoy. Plenty of snacks, food items. Restrooms through the park. Places to sit- benches, picnic tables. Water to purchase. Plenty of walking. Tshirts and photo opportunities. Senior rates. Truly an enjoyable day.

Love this place! Very informative - like how every thing is intentional and how each area of the ark is well explained. Creativity- the build, structure and animals are well kept and realistic. Great work to the design and art creators. A lot of fun stuff to do around the ark! There is a wonderful buffet 😋 and games and playgrounds! It's great for you and your family.

We had never been to this adventure park and wow! I wish we would've tried this experience sooner! The kids loved it! We were all in awe of its size and the overall experience. It was a learning experience as well as packed with things for the whole family. I do wish the cost was a bit lower and the crowds (at least inside the Ark) were a bit much but manageable.

We loved everything about the Creation Museum. Parking was easy and plentiful, staff was friendly and welcoming, many, many restrooms available and all clean, grounds are stunning, zoo animals well cared for and the museum itself was outstanding. We had a group of six women traveling from Virginia. We loved the interactive experience with zookeeper in the morning, a wonderful concert in the museum, the planetarium (extra fee), special effects movie theater (extra fee). The museum is beautifully done and very easy to navigate. Thankfully, it was not crowded, so the signs were easy to read. Other guests visiting were friendly as well. Excellent experience. Thank you!

We enjoyed the botanical garden. That's all I can say about the place. Within a few minutes of getting there, we were both ready to leave. We were there less than 2 hours, and I drive 8 hours round trip. We both considered it a disappointment and not worth that extremely long drive. The kid really had a good time on the bridges and the garden were the only highlights for us

This was our visit to the magnificently designed Creation Museum in Kentucky. It was an amazing experience as we came to visit straight from Philadelphia, PA. The entire Creation Museum venue is full of information which is presented is a very accessible way and easy to understand. They have several great bookstores with all kinds of curriculums for Church, Sunday School and VBS related to the Ark, the Flood and Creation and the Tower of Babel, which I highly recommend. We also really enjoyed the appearances and shows happening throughout the day, especially the one on "The Life of Corrie Ten-Boom". The staff is very helpful and has a fantastic attitude! We are definitely planning on coming back.

Wonderful experience! I highly recommend this for everyone of all ages and beliefs. The information is clear and to the point. The various exhibits are beautiful and dramatic. I really enjoyed the museum and you can slow down and go through each exhibit thoroughly. You can finish in a few hours and you will be highly edified.

This was such a cool museum! Went on a Saturday and wasn’t terribly busy. Definitely a little pricey but worth the experience. Plan to spend several hours here, we didn’t have time to go to the conservatory or butterfly house. As a former non believer I also appreciated the “scientific” explanations of the creation, flood etc. This place can be a fun experience for the unbeliever as well as the believer. Loved all the dinosaur exhibits!

Went with my family and church group recently and the kids absolutely loved it 😁 All of us had a wonderful time. They have a petting zoo and zip line. A beautiful pond with fish and lilly pads out on the water, the museum itself is very nice!! Good prices for their items in the bookstore. We enjoyed the theater also!!! A nice little playground for the kids to play in while you wait for an event to start. There is literally so much to do and enjoy.

Must do I took my husband here for a 63rd birthday surprise and he loved it. The talks were really great and everything they’re doing in. The museum is super good. They probably need to explain the alien planetarium movie, though it was the worst part of the whole place, but still good. They just need to add more about the spiritual rounds or about the contrasting theories for why they exist. I’m not convinced they don’t. Especially loved the garden of Eden section. We could’ve walked through that several more times. Very majestic.

Ate at Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. Food was amazing. Kaley did a fantastic job of managing the crowd and keeping everyone happy. She had great entree suggestions for us. Will definitely eat here again.

We went to Cincinnati to buy a car. We are from GA. We just happened to see the casino so we pulled in. We had a great time. We stayed several hours. What we won, of course we played it all back out. Lol. Super friendly employees working the tables willing to help us understand the boards we didn't know how to play.

Well as of this morning 31 days of 50 or 60 Freeplay provided by the casino. 2 days of winning very small amount. Only days I did win was when I actually put cash in machine and then added Freeplay. So beware new players and previous players Freeplay isn't money you win on. To come here 31 days straight in the month of October and have 2 days where I even stayed longer than 15 mins is when I put cash in machine first and then added Freeplay. My partner and I were excited to check out the Hard Rock Casino in Cincinnati, especially since my partner is a VIP host at our hometown casino. This was my first time gambling—I’ve never really played slots or table games—so I was eager to try something new. From the outside, the casino is impossible to miss: bright neon signage, a huge Hard Rock guitar sign, and glowing lights that draw you in from blocks away. Inside, the entryway is grand, with large glass doors, gorgeous chandeliers, and vibrant neon lighting. A metal detector at the entrance went off on me, but the staff were friendly and helped figure out that it was a piece of jewelry causing the alert. Once inside, we noticed display cases featuring iconic musician attire, giving the casino a fun museum-like feel. Walking through these exhibits was a highlight and added an unexpected cultural touch to the visit. The central bar was stunning, beautifully lit, and the staff were friendly and helpful, assisting us with cocktail choices to enhance the experience. The casino floor featured a wide variety of slot machines, table games, and even a small carnival game section, which was unique and fun to explore. There were also multiple smoking terraces designed with a club-like vibe that were surprisingly comfortable and didn’t smell like an ashtray. That said, the experience for a first-time gambler like me was frustrating. Unlike our hometown casino, there were no staff on the floor to explain how the games worked or to guide new players. I had to rely on other patrons to help me understand table games, which was kind but highlighted a lack of guest support. Playing the slot machines and table games ended up being more confusing than enjoyable. By the time we arrived around 8:00 p.m., most of the casino’s restaurants were closed, so we didn’t get to experience the dining options. Overall, while the venue is beautiful and visually impressive, the lack of floor staff and guidance for new players made the visit feel underwhelming. We enjoyed the bar more than the gaming floor, and it left us appreciating our hometown casino even more.

We visited the casino for the Young the Giant and Joywave concert, although there was weather issues overall the concert was amazing!! The casino handled the weather issues with ease and made the whole experience great. We tried a pizza bistro inside the casino and they were very delicious.

Went for the Ranch Hands Cowboylesque Sow. Great time, great show. Gave a 4 star because trying to find ballroom was not easy. You have to walk through most of the casino to get to escalator to go up to the ballroom.

I recently went with my mom for our annual trip, and our last time here was the best time I have had. I do recommend arriving early on busy days and purchasing tickets in advance as there is always a line. However, should you forget (like me), it's quick and easy to purchase on their website when you arrive. I was beyond thrilled to see their Asian small-clawed river otters (even if they were sleeping) and North American river otters! This made my day as otters are my favorite animal. I look forward to the completion of the sea otter exhibit. I do wish the zoo would advertise the otters better; they're not mentioned at all on their zoo map. (If you're wondering, they are located in Siamang Point and Wolf Woods.) The main souvenir shop near the entrance/exit seemed to have a much more limited selection than they did in the past. There are other gift shops per the map, but I kept missing them somehow. Perhaps as more exhibits are completed, they will expand their options. But overall, it was a great day.

It’s a nice zoo, albeit smaller than I expected. They have all of the types of animals you’d see at any major zoo. It got really crowded on a Sunday afternoon, there was a long line just to get in by 2pm, so come early. It has better landscaping and decor than most zoos.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They seem to genuinely care about the animals. It's a very good environment. It's not very friendly if you have any mobility challenges, but they do offer motorized scooters and other assistance. This is a great zoo!

This zoo is gorgeous! Loved every minute of it. So much to look at and keep the kids entertained. A lot of history as well. The hippos were awesome team Fiona! Paid the 4 bucks for my daughter's to feed the giraffes. Zeke was quite the character. I was surprised to see how gentle he was with my 7 and 5 year old. I went on election day so it was packed! However it was pleasant. The elephants and others were super entertaining as well.

Amazing zoo and experience. Easy, ample parking with a short walk, then many exhibits and some with multiple angles and approaches to make sure you see the animals, like the elephants and more. Special events like giraffe feeding and cheetah run are really unique. Kids and adults had an awesome time!

I adore the cinci zoo!! I read somewhere it’s been ranked the best zoo in the country and I believe it! Beautiful spacious habitats, incredible conservation and outreach! I love going to their adult overnight program! Their new elephant exhibit is just breathtaking. I have nothing but good things to say about this zoo!! Just be prepared to do some walking and spend the day here if you want to see everything! We were here open to close and there was a ton we missed!

As always the zoo didn't disappoint. We went to the pumpkin festival it was crazy cool pumpkin carvings. The Cincinnati artist were great! You still got to see the reptile and nocturnal exhibits.

Just finished our very first visit to Kings Island for their Halloween haunt event. Overall it was a great time. The theming for Halloween around the park, especially at night was immersive, and well put together. The amount of rides, especially coasters, was also great, even though there’s only 2 truly great ones there in Orion, and Diamondback. The only issue is with the operations, as a lot of the workers around the park, are young, and very misinformed on the parks policies, or pass info. Ride operations were great as far as the speed they were dispatching rides, but also huge drawback is that on every single coaster aside from Diamondback, they tell you where to sit. For coaster enthusiasts this is a very bad thing, as we typically like to ride in certain trains to get the full experience. That’s the only reason for dropping a star. The Haunt event was decent with scare zones full of actors, however the haunted mazes we went through aside from Conjuring which is a separate price, and kill mart, were very poorly set up. Very long lines, yet hardly any actors in them. Conjuring was decent but a bit overpriced, and kill mart was the best scare attraction in the park by a mile. The dining plan is confusing but pays off easily. The night time show at the end was top notch as well. Some things could be improved but for the amount of stuff to do there, getting tickets especially during the sales is a no brainer. Looking forward to coming back soon!

I met my family for a day of fun in early October. The park was so well done for their Halloween Haunt. The park offered a great mix of scary and fun rides and activities for kids of all ages. We bought the package and the fast lane/ express lane option during the haunt which was well worth the money. We also also bought the drink option that ended up being one of the best investments we ever made. It was so hot that day and we were able to stay hydrated without breaking the bank. The icing on that he cake was the Conjourng! Highly recommend!!

I have gone 4 times this year so far. Love the family friendly environment and adult friendly vendors here. Very well kept park with good selection of rides. I don't recommend going on Saturday especially during the haunt season! Unless you enjoy 2-3hr lines for everything..

I mean come on, it’s Kings Island, one of the best amusement parks in the world, what can I say? The Haunt is extremely well done, much better than Carowinds, Kings Dominion or any of the Six Flags parks’ versions. If you like coasters and great atmosphere and fun, this should be a top destination for your travel plans.

They are not joking when they say the operations here are world class. I think the diamondback trains dispatch 3 seconds after the back row people sit down, because the workers have already buckled and checked all the front rows by then. It’s crazy. Incredible night rides on the Beast, and you know it’s true because many people in my party agree that it was worth the 140 minute wait. Pro tip go at dusk and line up so that it’s dark by the time you reach the front, otherwise you will waiting for hours like us and the rest of the park. Insanely well rounded top five coasters here too.

Came here a few times with a season pass this year, a good time each visit. Definitely recommend to get at least a gold pass which includes Haunt nights during Halloween. Be advised, haunted houses are NOT included in the pass, you’ll need a separate arm band that’s $10 you can get the day of.

Had a great family day for Labor Day Weekend! Plenty of parking and fun! Bought tickets online before we arrived and walked right over from the Great Wolf Lodge! Snoopy Land was fun for a few rides -we had a 7 & 8 year old so we were in between rides but still enjoyed ourselves. The Eiffel Tower was great for them to experience. The Ship Ride was a test of their courage. Lots of snack areas and drinks. Lots of bees around the soda area. Not a fan. Great shopping areas and Candy Zone -photos at entrance for the groups. The racer was fun and carousel. Will do the Waterpark next summer. Great time to enjoy. Lots of walking. Can’t wait to take them back as they get older.

Absolutely incredible experience. A museum like no other I've ever been to before in my life. I was super stoked to see the SR-71 and the Air Force one plane that JFK used. What an experience and I wouldn't change a thing. The main key is being able to interact with so many of the aircraft and my little guy loved being able to climb into cockpit and pretend he was a fighter pilot. The missile silo was huuuuge and nothing like I've ever seen before. The staff and volunteers were very nice and interactive as well. We were able to come on a random week day when it wasn't busy so we were able to enjoy ourselves without huge crowds. We will definitely be back!!

Great air and history museum! You could easily spend an entire day here. Great historical explanations surrounding the exhibits and very organized. We've been there several times with the kids through the years and always had a great time. Most recently, my daughter and I visited during a "plane talk" event and were able to meet several retired members of the flight crew of different aircraft. Highly recommend!

The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force is truly one of the most impressive museums I’ve ever visited — and the fact that it’s completely free makes it even more unbelievable. The size of the place is massive, and each hangar takes you deeper into the history of aviation, space exploration, and the U.S. Air Force’s role around the world. The exhibits are incredibly well-organized, starting from early flight history and leading all the way to modern jets, stealth aircraft, and even space capsules. Walking through the hangars feels like stepping through different eras — from WWII bombers to Cold War jets to presidential aircraft. Seeing Air Force One up close and being able to walk inside some of the planes is such a unique experience. Every area is spotless and very well-maintained, and the amount of information available is impressive without being overwhelming. There’s something for everyone — whether you love military history, aviation technology, or just want to see some amazing aircraft in person. The staff and volunteers are also very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate, which adds so much to the visit. You can easily spend several hours here without even realizing how much time has passed. The museum is perfect for families, tourists, history lovers, and honestly anyone who enjoys seeing something truly extraordinary. This is without a doubt one of Dayton’s biggest treasures, and a must-visit destination for anyone in the area.

Aviation history at its finest—absolutely world-class. This museum is a national treasure. From the Wright brothers to stealth bombers, the scale and depth of the exhibits are staggering. Four massive hangars packed with legendary aircraft, including the X-15, SR-71, and the B-29 that dropped the second atomic bomb. You can even walk through presidential planes like the one Lyndon Johnson was sworn in on. One of the most compelling exhibits is the story of “Flying the Hump”—the daring WWII airlift over the Himalayas to resupply Chinese forces after the Japanese cut off the Burma Road. Pilots flew from India to China through brutal weather, 18,000-foot altitudes, and zero navigation aids. It was dubbed the “Skyway to Hell”, and rightly so: over 500 aircraft were lost, and more than 1,300 crew members perished. Yet this mission was vital to keeping China in the fight and ultimately helped turn the tide in the Pacific Theater. The layout is intuitive, the signage is clear, and the staff—many of them veterans—are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. Best part? Admission is free. You could easily spend a full day here (or several) and still not see everything. Whether you're an aerospace engineer, a military buff, or just curious about flight, this place will leave you inspired. One of the best museums in the country, hands down.

If you are a military aircraft enthusiast, or a war historian, this has got to be one of the most amazing museums in the world. And has everything from the wright brothers early aircraft contracts with with the army, through modern stealth aircraft and missile technology... And it's totally free admission! I spent over 4 hours there and felt like I could have been there for another full day just reading placards and listening to tour information. Absolute must do if this overlaps with your personal interests.

So glad we took the time to visit this place. It costs nothing to go in, and there's so much to see and do. My toddler had a great time getting to see everything. They also have several planes you get to go inside of or sit in the cockpit of. There are also several interactive exhibits that are great for kids. Overall, it's an amazing display of an important part of history, while also preserving it all exceptionally well.

Great museum. I've been wanting to check this out for years and finally did it. So much to see. Plan for at least a full day if you want to see it all, more if you really want to spend some time with each exhibit and take it all in with some depth. We saw everything, but had to keep moving. I could easily go back to read and absorb some of the exhibits more closely. I've been to nearly all the air museums and this is one of the best.
