Abundant green, shimmering with mist and perfect for most people of all fitness levels I’d suggest. We came here on our wedding anniversary weekend and it was stella way to cap off our weekend. The track to the fall was easy to navigate and great for hand holding whilst enjoying many stops for my husband to take some of his photos…. Whilst I took pics of him taking photos. A magical cool rainforest to exchange and inspire the artists or the hikers.

Mount Field National Park is stunning. Russell Falls are spectacular, with their tiered cascades and lush surroundings, and the walk is easy and rewarding. I also loved finding the quieter Horseshoe Falls — a hidden spot where the forest feels almost untouched. Great trails, beautiful waterfalls, and plenty of photo opportunities.

I recommend coming to Russell Falls as it is one hour from Hobart and it is absolutely beautiful. There are many walks and it is wheelchair friendly. There are a couple of hills but the path to the falls is flat. Don't forget you will need a national parks pass, if you don't have one you can get a pass there. There are some wonderful Tasmanian made souvenirs and plenty of information about the plant life there.

A great walk through the forest, with massive trees, on well established paths to some beautiful waterfalls. We timed it to be on the day after some heavy rain and the falls were gushing. Epic

A great stop and beautiful falls. We made it a stop over whilst driving from Strahan to Port Arthur. Good paved road in. It is a national park with visitor center so you can get your Tasmanian parkpass here. No extra fee for parking. Make sure to walk the circle track, the path is more attractive on one side than the other. If you are wanting to see glow worms, there is an area here. (We were not here at night, so I didn't experience that).

Easy to get from Hobart and a simple walk from visitor Centre or tall trees car park. The falls are both Horseshoe and Russell so double falls with the option of also walking to lady Barron Falls. Worth the effort photos do not do it justice.

Russell Falls is such a peaceful and beautiful spot. The walk is easy and surrounded by stunning rainforest. The falls themselves are breathtaking – simple, natural, and calming. A perfect little escape into nature, just a short drive from Hobart. Highly recommend if you want a quiet moment outdoors.

Oh my. Highly recommend anyone visiting Tasmania to make every effort to stop at The Wall near Derwent Bridge. The art work is superb with exquisite details. Don’t rush your visit! We took a leisurely stroll around the entire display soaking up every image intricately carved from Huon Pine. Sadly no photos allowed but that’s a crucial strategy of the artist to protect his work and the messages he conveys. The pic provided is from a pamphlet provided at The Wall.

Fantastic love of wood and carving gives us The Wall, that takes you on a sensory adventure of life. Spectacular in its presentation the aroma of naturally carved Huon Pine permiates all round the facility really adding to the experience. Light refreshments available to share by a beautiful fire, all without any of the hype and commercialism that takes over today exhibits. You WILL be moved by the emotions you feel as you follow the story, imagining what life can be like. An excellent exhibit you should definitely stop to view, not drive past at 100kph... We had been told to come and how good it was, but was more than we expected. The work put into these incredible carvings must have been long and laborious, and has created an awesome and different art installation. Although we understand the ‘no camera’ rules, it was a shame not to be able to share with friends and family, maybe even a bit more on the website would be enough to whet the appetite. Thank you for sharing your talents.

Whoever is doubting of paying entry fee, go for it! I was doubting it quite a bit but it was recommended by my friend so I did it and I'm very happy for my decision! It's a masterpiece, truly. Loved it so much as I love that kind of job and details with all the presenting is just great! Bit a shame I couldn't get any photos or videos to show my family back in Czech Republic, but gonna respect creators wishes. Very nice!

Do not miss this incredible display of talent - it’s beyond incredible, you absolutely have to stop in and see this art for yourself !! Please respect the artists wishes and not take photos of his work. He has published a book which is available at the gallery and is absolutely worth picking it up as a memento of your visit.

Master sculptor, well you can see why! This display brings carvings of everyday items to life, and the wall itself tells its own story. It even shows you the process. Fantastic display of talent, patience and workmanship. Not much for children to do. No food, no photography.

The talent and sculptured work is great. I can also come at paying an admission. I think $22 is just a bit expensive and I see no concession prices for people to use where appropriate. The website says its closed but its open, told the lady behind the counter to try and help her. Her reply, "Not our problem we didn't do it." Also wanted some food and cup of tea. "You cant get that unless you pay $22 for admission first." We had one international tourist and two other locals. This lady on reception is the greatest advertisement NOT to come again, NOT to recommend the Wall to anyone. It's a shame but an example of someone who should not be in the tourism industry. One of our guests is a Senior journalist with The New York Times in respect of travel and tourism. Her actions at reception should only be seen by 200 million. It's not a good review. Train the lady at reception in professional service or she will find her guests dwindling. Never going back.

You've got to hike these beautiful tracks at least once, or better, do any many as you can! Well worth the sore legs for the mesmerizing scenery & freshest air you'll breathe in a long time. Always dress for 4 seasons, you can suddenly experience sunshine, rain, wind & sometimes even snow.

Even if the weather isn’t perfect, Cradle Mountain in Tasmania is still worth visiting—wombats are the highlight! Though I’m sure it’d look even more stunning under a blue sky.

Cradle Mountain is a must-visit when in Tasmania. We spent two nights here and summited Marion’s Lookout, which offered beautiful panoramas of Cradle and the surrounding peaks. Nature at its best is on display here, with abundant flora and fauna. The trails are also well defined and properly maintained, making hiking safe for all levels. Do kit up with warm clothing and a windbreaker, as it can get windy and chilly on the peaks. Hiking poles and gloves are a nice-to-have and will make things a lot more comfortable too. Highly recommended.

We finally made it to see Cradle Mountain and the Boat shed on Dove Lake. Such iconic locations, and a must place to see when in Tasmania. We caught the bus from vistor centre, which saved alot of walking. Tracks are well signed and toilets are very clean. We highly recommend you visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🇦🇺👍

All I wanted from my trip to Tassie was to see a wombat. Here, I finally found one. So cute and made my day. It was freezing and raining, but I also loved the walk around the lakes and back to Ronny Creek. There seems to be a good variety of hikes available for different abilities. Shuttles run regularly to whisk you away out of the freezing cold.

Beautiful national park, the staff at the visitor center were lovely and really helpful and the hike was perfect. I sow a lot of wombat in ronny creek, i went to marion lookout to have a really good view on the lakes and then i did the loop around dove lake.

It’s an unmissable destination for nature lovers. The dramatic scenery of rugged mountains mirrored in the still waters of Dove Lake is absolutely breathtaking, especially on a clear day. The park is home to many rare and precious species of flora and fauna, making it a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. If you have the time and stamina, a 2-4 day hiking trip through the area offers an unforgettable immersive experience. The journey from Launceston can be quite challenging, particularly in rainy or snowy weather, so joining a guided tour is highly recommended for safety. Even on cloudy or misty days, Cradle Mountain has a completely different charm — the moody atmosphere creates a sense of mystery and wonder, almost like you’ve reached the edge of the world. If you come here, you’ll truly feel the magic and beauty of nature — it’s a place that leaves a lasting impression on every visitor.

A gorgeous walk trail, we did the recommended clockwise route. Lots of great views, excellent track, some arduous climbing after the mini beach rest stop around half way round. We took a little over 2 hours on a cool, drizzly day. Well worth the hike!

I visited Dove Lake Circuit and it took me around 2.5 hours to complete the trek. The walk offers absolutely stunning views of Cradle Mountain and peaceful moments by the lake, especially around the iconic boat shed and Glacier Rock. I personally suggest carrying full winter and wind protection gear like thermal jackets, raincoats, gloves, and a beanie, as the weather changes quickly and it can get quite cold and windy, even during the day. It’s a well-maintained and scenic track that’s worth every step!

This walk was an incredible experience. Amazing views of the lake and Cradle Mountain. The rainforrest sections were gorgeous. Loved stopping for a picnic on one of the little beaches. We followed the advice to take a pack which was really not necessary during peak season if you are staying on the main track. There would have easily been 300-400 people doing the walk at the same time. There is boardwalk for most of the track, mostly flat with lots of stairs in some parts. An unfit person could do this walk at a slow pace.

Trail is more moderate than easy primarily because of length. It's 6km but the end by the boatshed has lots of up and downs. Easy enough though that we took a 5, 4, and 3 year old child on it and they walked nearly all of it. Obviously if you go to cradle mountain national park you have to do this trail. With our party (including young kids) took about 2.5hrs to complete, so just adults or older children could do it quicker. It's a loop and as they recommend do it clockwise. While anti-clockwise would get the hardest part out of the way first the views are definitely better the way they recommend.

Moderate hike that takes you through so many different environments. Each side of the lake is completely different to the other. Not a steep hike, but there are a few lengthy climbs.

We completed this beautiful trail in under 2 hours (11,000 steps, 1,500 steps up and down). You must stop at the visitor centre and buy a park pass for 30 and then take the shuttle bus up to Dove Lake.

We parked at the visitor centre to get the tickets and bus passes. It takes around 20 min on the bus to get there and start the circuit. We got recommended at the visitor centre to do it clockwise and it makes sense for everyone to go on the same direction as the path is not wide. Beautiful scenery!

Love being able to get up close with our Tasmanian animals. Also love that this sanctuary cares for animals that can't got back out into the wild, or help them rehabilitate. I feel the sanctuary needs a bit of money spent on some areas that are getting a little tired. Its a wonderful spot and I hope they can get a grant to help.

Very fun day! I had a good experience here. Met many lovely animals. It was my first time to pat a little wombat and tassie devil so soft and cute. Recommend be there before 11 am for free interactive tours

I was very impressed with the staff and the overall experience. I also appreciate that they provide social services for the animals and am delighted by the care they provide. I especially admire how they ensure the animals' comfort is not compromised by visitors. The sessions led by experts, where one can learn about these species, are truly the highlight. Keep up the good work!

I had an incredible experience at Trowunna. I’m really appreciative of all the amazing work they do here. You can tell they really look after the animals and it makes me so happy that they are able to release healed wildlife back into the wild, and have breeding programs in place to boost numbers of these special species.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience at the sanctuary. Seeing the range of rescue animals and how well they were taken care of was great. We took advantage of one of the free guided tours and got up close to a wombat and Tassie devil. It was also great to have a wander to each of the enclosures and hand feed the kangaroos and birds in between. It was a great trip and recommend people to check it out.

Fantastic experience, very friendly and knowledgeable tour, where else do you get to pat a wombat AND a tassie devil. Well worth the trip, you can spend a couple of hours wandering around feeding the wildlife. Go for the beautiful song put out by the albino magpie!

What a brilliant place this is. A variety of wildlife for everyone to see, and the devil’s weren’t worried about coming out to say hi. There are lots of birds, kangaroos, wallabies and wombats. Brilliant work by staff and highly recommend you going in.

A must visit on your travels through the area! Family-friendly fun! Lots to explore, mazes galore! Cafe has alot of choice for food and drinks. The plain scones are warm served with jam and cream or date scones served with date/maple butter & cream. Fresh & delicious! Clean toilet facilities for all & a kids playground our kids loved! Cute little gift gallery too & highly recommend the show bags for purchase!

So much fun! The mazes are amazing and there are extra things that we discovered within the maze. Reception gave us a list and we spent a fun day finding all the items on the list. Love the lower village of Crackpot. Great fun for any age.

Great family outing and we love the hospitality of the staff. Specially Gayle was wonderful. Thought was raining but after a few minutes the weather was great. Toilets were clean. There is a cafe that serve hot food till 3:30 pm and restaurant closes at 3:00 pm. A gift shop with delicious ice cream and loads of gifts to take away. There is a lavender farm as well that you can visit during the right season.

What a weird little place - in a good way! We stopped by on our drive from Launceston to Cradle Mountain on a weekday afternoon. Empty but made it an even better experience - have not been anywhere like it before. It's a selection of mazes and dad jokes, tiny houses and buildings, as well as world landmarks. You need to see it to get it. Staff were very friendly and pleasant and gave us some jams to take home which was lovely. Would come back and highly recommend.

Bit of a delayed review. But my husband and I went to Tasmazia in February for our honeymoon. We just want to say we 100% recommend! Staff were beautiful and lovely. Beautiful food with views. Amazing mazes! And a great all round fun place. If you're looking for something fun and unique to do, definitely come here. There's so much to see and unique amazing sculptures and mazes. They also have the best pudding. Thank you guys for the amazing time and the beautiful food and service you gave us.

A must see when visiting Launceston. Beautiful place to visit which you are free to explore the large park,and is of no cost. Follow the many paths,suspension bridge, and board walks along the gorge and enjoy the great views and well kept gardens, river and animals You can swim in the blue pool, or small lake on a good day of course. There is a cafe on site. The chair lift gives you a birds eye view and a fun trip across the valley for $20 return.

This place was absolutely stunning. We took the old school lift to the other side. The view was so peaceful and stunning. You can imagine our excitement seeing a peacock near the other side, only to find there are a dozen more roaming around freely! They are super close but wont allow you to touch them. Wallabies also joined the mix. A few walking paths onsite. Well worth the visit.

Lots of good maps, even better rocks. This place is really good considering its ease of access and proximity to the city. The chairlift was fun, and the bumblebees are friendly. Staff were great and friendly too. #1 pretty rock river that I've seen.

The big highlight of Cataract Gorge, at least for tourists, is the peafowl. I had the pleasure of being there in Spring, mating season, so the boys were on full show. The peahens were treating their prospective mates with a bit of... contempt, it was kind of amusing to me (and just about every other woman I spoke to). This is a truly beautiful a space. It has multiple walking paths for different ability levels, a swimming pool, a suspension bridge and chairlift across the gorge itself. The cafe provides tasty food for a mix of tastes and some souvenirs. There is a bit of something for everyone. There is wheelchair accessibility through the inclinator. There is some accessible parking but I think it would fill up quickly especially in peak periods. Parking is paid.

Cataract Gorge Reserve in Launceston is absolutely stunning! The views are breathtaking, and there’s so much to explore — walking trails, the suspension bridge, and peaceful spots to just sit and enjoy nature. We spent hours taking in the scenery, and it’s the perfect place for a relaxing day out. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Launceston!

Beautiful natural gorge, so close to the centre of Launceston. Busy parking space with paid parking ($2 per hour) A variety of walks/hikes available, from short stroll along the grass to 1km loop around the gorge basin, or a steep hike. There is a short chair lift that takes you to the other side of the gorge (adult prices are $15 one way or $20 return). Nice cafe with beautiful views. There is a pool, or can swim in the gorge.

Stunning!!!!! Beautiful day spent. Took the chair lift, did a walk and just enjoyed being in nature. Tip:We took the lift from the top to the bottom So we didn’t have to walk up after all the walking around. * pay for it when you enter the reserve.

Normal park..good for walk..haven't seen Monkey ;) its huge and can park outside for 2 hours.. for visitors nothing special

I wish I'd had more time to spend here. It was beautiful. I particularly liked the Sensory Garden. I was there between rain showers and it smelt beautiful. City Park is easily within walking distance of the centre of Launceston, we walked here with coffee. The Japanese Macaques are fun to watch. If you want to go somewhere to spend a few minutes this is a good place they will amuse adults and children alike.

The park is quite big. With the exception of the Japanese snow monkeys, there was not a lot to see. Very little plants and flowers, altho it is winter.

Travelling on the Spirit of Tasmania is most definitely the best way I find to travel to & from Tassie for holidays & photoshoots. I can take my own car, taking as much luggage & gear as I need, and return back home to Geelong with lots of uniquely Tasmanian produce like honey, ciders, raspberry jams, gins & wines. The service from the staff, both onboard and on land is exceptional....friendly, efficient, attentive and helpful. All of my 14 crossings have been comfortable & relaxing with the on deck furniture, photos of Tassie on the walls, or the views from the windows. There is plenty of variety of good food from both the TMK and the bar on Deck 9; and entertainment in the cinemas, performers on Deck 9 or people promoting Tasmanian produce. I choose to travel overnight and book 'inside cabins' with their own toilet & showers, as there is less rock & roll if there are any swells & rough seas etc in the Strait. Also, that way, I am not wasting a day travelling and can get going first thing in the mornings to see, photograph & experience the beauty of Tassie. The embarking and disembarking processes are quick & efficient, especially considering the number of people & vehicles that are travelling most times. It is also a lovely view and experience to see both Geelong(my hometown) and Devonport from a different POV when standing on the decks photographing.

This was our 3rd time to Tasmania on the Spirit., enjoyed it all. We have taken motorhome before, then tent another time. This time travelled in our vehicle to hire a van in TAS. Staff doing the boarding were great in directing traffic on and off. Very clean and comfortable whichever way you choose and we have done all modes. Staff very helpful, food and drinks great. For us the Spirit is our favourite way to get to Tasmania. Hopefully I’ll get to sail on one of the new SOT although this trip possibly is our last( sadly) We love Tassie, the people, history and the amazing scenery everywhere.. highly recommend this journey to everyone❤️❤️❤️

Very organised, friendly staff good facilities, we had the theatre all to ourselves. Cabin was squeezy might get a bigger one next time. A bit of a rolling journey.

I traveled to Tasmania recently for a 10 days holidays with my Amiga Anne, & we went on board the Spirit of Tasmania Ferry with Anne’s car. We booked on line, travelling by day with reckliner seats & booked a cabin on our trip back to Geelong port last Sunday night 12/10/25. Being both pensioners we got a huge discount on our tickets. We both enjoyed both trips there & back, & I will recommend to all my friends & family to have a go & travel to Tasmania with the ferry! Thank you! Zhennie Thomson

Love taking the Spirit of Tasmania to Tassie for trips. Very easy when you want to take your car (or not)! Great staff across the board, and the onboard amenities are great, including the cabins (can only speak on behalf of the twin or bunk rooms, however am sure all variations are great). Comfortable and well priced. We personally wouldn’t choose to travel to Tassie and back any other way.

Our second journey on the Spirit and we loved it! Our amenities were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Meals and services provided were excellent! Praise to the staff and crew for their efforts.

I had a wonderful trip over on the Spirit of Tasmania. From the lady who gave me my boarding pass with a friendly smile and clear directions for where to go next, to the man who made my vegetable pizza and was thrilled when I told him I enjoyed it. The experience was fun, easy and relaxing. Ammenities excellent.

A highlight of Burnie, a place where you can view and purchase local artisans wares. Also has a good tourist information and Papermaking workshop,...Definitely worth doing. Cafe is busy and average price.

Well worth a visit to watch many various arts and crafts being made. There's also a pictorial history of Burnie and a couple of really interesting installations.

Kids throughly enjoyed the paper making tour inside. Learnt alot and even dicided to purchase a paper making kit after the tour. Our tour guide was full of knowledge about all things paper. Would recomend if your in the area and if the weather is not great, as was our case, perfect indoor activity. Also has art work and various other stores.

Made paper, looked at restored coal loader made in Burnie. Little penguins are located by board walk. Local artists display their art. Very interesting.

A must see when in Burnie. Take a paper making tour and see how paper is made. The Makers' Workshop has very helpful and friendly staff, especially Darren on the paper making tour; he's very knowledgeable and passionate about the paper making process and it shows; an asset to the place. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about the process. You also get the chance to make paper at the end, awesome experience.

Great place to take the kids on a rainy day in Tasmania. Plenty for them to see and do. A knowledgeable guide and interesting information on seahorses and handfish. Well worth a visit.

The guided tour was informative and fascinating — amazing to see the seahorses up close and learn about their breeding and conservation. It’s a unique experience you don’t often find elsewhere! 🪸

Loved it. 3 x 150m walk up. Hand rail and solid path. Take a breath and your time and at 55 it was fine. Wal around the top was great.

I would recommend doing the walk up if you can - it’s very rewarding once you get to the top and quite fun to go on such an incline. The loop at the top was lovely and there were many view points. Would recommend visiting if you can.

The Nut from afar is beautiful, but hiking it is another experience. The surrounding views above is spectacular. Just need to sacrifice sore legs from the first initial Zig Zag climb. The full loop is an additional 2km from the top of the chair lift, unfortunately on a windy day like today, the lift was not operating. Just take your time, it's no race to the top.

A brilliant natural formation that's definitely worth the walk up (if you're fit enough) or take the chair lift up, which is what we did. A one way ticket up the chair lift and then we walked around the Nut and walked back down. The views are awesome and you see some pretty cool wildlife too. We saw a wallaby mum with baby joey on her pouch. People we passed on the track saw an echidna bury itself in some leaves and dirt.

Great exercise walk up step hill, beautiful view. Its has a beautiful native white flower garden at pinic area, its perfect for photo or video event suit for special event photos Empty your bladder before walk no facilities on the top

A great place to visit. The chairlift was the easy way to the top of The Nut. The town is full of beautiful old homes that are being maintained as they were when built.

If your able to walk 2ks round trip on the top of the Nut do it. I counted 160 stairs. Many view points on the way and seats.

Definitely one of the best landscapes in Victoria. Wilsons Prom has it all - even the journey to get there is beautiful. I camped at Tidal River (and got to see so many meteors 🥹), wandered around the beaches, and hiked up Mt Oberon. Already missing this place and can’t wait to go back!

I came for the nature, and left rejuvenated. Wilsons Prom is lovely and unfolds in layers - beaches that hum with coastal wind, forest trails and granite boulders. Every terrain shift felt like a new rhythm; dry bushland giving way to rainforest gullies, then unveiling into turquoise coves and squeaky white sand. Tidal River was grounding with its reflective pools, orange-tinged rocks and the kind of silence that makes you listen differently. Sealers Cove was a lush journey worth every step. And Squeaky Beach was pure sensory joy! The sand "squeaks" with every step, and the surf catches the light like it's inviting you in. I enjoyed watching the shorebirds pace the wet sand, chirping and circling with intent. They appeared to be part of the rhythm. This wasn't just a physical visit; it was a sensory and emotive experience of textures, contrasts and moods. For those exploring further, sights like Mount Oberon, Whisky Bay and Little Waterloo Bay offer even more layers of terrain and perspectives.

Wilsons Promontory National Park: An Absolute Must-Visit for the Wild at Heart! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 If you're looking for the ultimate destination for dramatic coastal scenery and abundant native wildlife in Victoria, Wilsons Prom is an absolute must-visit. This place truly transports you to another level of natural beauty. The coastal walks are monumental. As you can see in my photo, the dramatic, moody skies only add to the spectacle of the wide, sandy beaches. It’s perfect for reflection, especially with the incredible light playing off the ocean. But what really stood out was the unique geology and the wildlife! Stumbling upon the lichen-covered granite boulders was like finding abstract art in nature. The striking orange colour of the lichen against the dark stone is pure Australian drama, highlighting the raw, rugged environment here. And of course, the accessible wildlife is a huge bonus! Keep your eyes peeled for the Prom’s most lovable resident, the Wombat. Getting a glimpse of these little tanks grazing in the low light is pure magic and a reminder of the unspoiled nature of the park. I can't recommend it highly enough, and I’ll definitely be back!

The day I went with a mate was pretty cold, wet and cloudy. Wanted to go to South Point, but the road was closed. Went to Mt Oberon, though, and loved that. Hiked (more walked) to the top and saw the coastline occasionally when the clouds thinned out. Was still amazing despite the wet day and really not that difficult of a hike, took us an hour to get to the top from the car park.

Scenery is beautiful, infrastructure and information below par. No maps or posted info re track closures. 3 staff sitting at computers advising visitors to download QR codes for info .. would be doable WITH internet connection 😕 so fairly unhelpful really .. number of visitors in the car park trying to help each other out. Most pretty frustrated with the lack of support or direction. Can I suggest a consult with Tasmania Park Services, they're proactive, visitors are welcome and well supported, ahead all the way.

Absolutely stunning place — one of the most beautiful spots in Victoria! The beaches are crystal clear, the hikes are super scenic, and there’s wildlife everywhere (we saw wombats, wallabies and emus up close). Mount Oberon lookout is 100% worth the climb for the views, and Squeaky Beach really does squeak when you walk on it. The park is clean, well-maintained and perfect for hiking, camping or just a chill day trip. Make sure to pack layers and snacks — the weather changes fast. Can’t wait to come back! 🌿🏖️

Vast and breathtakingly beautiful vistas, and wildlife, everywhere. Numerous walking and hiking trails ranging from an easy boardwalk stroll to several overnight hiking trails with base camps. Clean and tidy toilets and hot water showers. There is a coin operated laundry, free barbecues and camp kitchens. Everything is super well organised and managed. Great visitor centre with knowledgeable staff and rangers in attendance 365 days a year. The little general store serves a mean “Promburger”. There are several cabins and units as well as 484 campsites, often with access to the drinking water. Many spots are suitable for big rigs and large caravans, and 20 sites also have access to the power.

Such a fun place to visit! The Phillip Island Chocolate Factory is a great experience for both kids and adults. The displays are really creative. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and of course the chocolate is absolutely delicious, so many varieties to try and take home. A must visit spot if you’re on the island!

I am giving them 2 stars because: 1. Chocolate quality is so low compared to high quality ones such as Haigh's. It tastes like it is 70% sugar, a touch of chocolate tase and milk. I tasted theur chocolate shot and 70% dark, they were both too sweet. The dark obe was so full of sugar that I gave it away. 2. It was Sunday and there were almost 40 cars, but to everyone's shock, there was only one lady serving all the customers in the shop. She was so busy and stressed, but still nice. Then another lady who was working at the cafe, left the cafe to help the store assistant out. It is unacceptable for a business at that size. 3. Chocolates are unreasonably priced compared to the quality and size. I wish they take these into account.

It was a fun experience for both adults and children! Tickets are sold at $23 for adults and the physical ticket given is a chocolate that you can eat. The visit starts with an introductory history to how chocolate is made, followed by interesting displays of "how chocolates are made by penguins" in Panny's chocolate factory. There are interactive games which you can play with the 10 credits which comes with each ticket. If you win the wooden ball from the games, you can exchange it for a chocolate before you exit. There's also the factory tour where no photos and videos are allowed but staff will explain to you how chocolates are being made. Overall it was a fun experience!

Nice place to visit and lots of fun, but it can get pretty crowded on holidays. The chocolate is good and the displays are cool, just try to come on a weekday if you want to avoid the crowd.

Highly recommend visiting the Phillip Island Chocolate Factory! Everything was set up beautifully from the moment we walked in. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. The tour was really informative — we learned so much about the chocolate-making process in a fun and engaging way. It’s a very family-friendly place and definitely suitable for kids. There’s so much to see and do, and the interactive displays kept everyone entertained. The arcade games were a huge hit — they made the visit so much more fun, and winning chocolate is always a bonus! Toilets are available both at reception and inside the factory, which was really convenient when visiting with little ones. A perfect day out for families — we’ll definitely be back!

Chocolate prices are not cheap $19 for a small packet of chocolate buttons. I saw nobody buying any chocolates from your shop... Everything is for display only because nobody wants to pay this much for little chocolate. Also, the chocolate tour was busy with tourists which is $24.00. Clean rest rooms. Theres a cafe also and have robots bringing you the food but followed by the waiter/waitress as they need to serve the dishes and place them onto the customers tables. Friendly staff at the cafeteria. Nice menu

Beautiful newly built pier with amazing views of the city. Beautiful spot to watch the sunset and see the city beautifully lit up at night. Def worth visiting and going for a walk to the end of the jetty. Also lots of seating all the x way along the pier for those that need to take a rest or to sit and see the beautiful city views. I love this pier.

This is such a beautiful addition to St Kilda. The pier is lovely, the beaches are clean, and if you’re lucky enough you’ll see one of the local penguins. This is a free tourist attraction so that’s a great thing. Plenty to see as there are great restaurants from takeaways to fine dining (Donovan’s).

My first visit to St Kilda pier since its been upgraded. I love what has been done with it. It's a very pleasant walk with the sunset and view of the city skyline. Plenty of places to sit and relax along the way and I love how they've kept the historical kiosk.

A must-visit when in Melbourne. St Kilda Pier offers stunning views of the city skyline and Port Phillip Bay, especially during sunrise and sunset. The walk is peaceful, with plenty of spots for photos. If you’re lucky, you might spot the famous little penguins near the breakwater at dusk. Clean, well-maintained, and a perfect place to relax and soak in the fresh sea breeze.

Here's where you can see wild tiny penguin at its natural habitat. Btw note that this is not a penguin parade so you have to patient search and wait for the penguins! Usually they are in between some rocks so look carefully. Don't get your hope up too high if you are expecting a lot of penguins visible in close proximity. This is not your place

Went on a Saturday afternoon with nice weather and sunshine. It was a big change from before. There were a lot of people. There was a boat tour to see penguins. There was an ice cream shop at the end of the road. It was delicious. The atmosphere was good for visiting. The walkway was convenient, but there were no trash cans.

Had an amazing time yesterday at the puffing Billy steam train ride from Belgrave to Gembrook return It was a beautiful sunny day and the landscape and scenery was spectacular ..Almost like our train ride in Switzerland . The steam train was beautiful and it takes you back in time to the year 1900. I was a proud Victorian and was glad the puffing Billy stood the test of time The staff were all so pleasant and. Happy to be serving you . You could see that they love their job , especially our carriage attendant Vicky . We did this train ride when our daughter was 2. She is now 31. So it was a beautiful walk down memory lane .

I had a wonderful time on the Puffing Billy steam train — such a unique and memorable experience! The ride was incredibly scenic, with beautiful views all along the way. The atmosphere is charming and nostalgic and you really feel like you're stepping back in time. The staff were friendly and made the journey even more enjoyable.

Took a ride on a chilly, rainy spring day, the first leg to Emerald was freezing, but the return trip was perfect, so we got to sit on the railing and really feel the wind in our faces. It’s fun for kids and adults who want to unleash their inner child, though don’t expect jaw-dropping scenery, mostly forest, some backyards, a tall wooden bridge, and locals waving as you pass. The real magic? The steam, the hissing, the smell of the old train. It’s pure nostalgia, an old-school steam train experience that’s more about the journey than the views. 🚂

Puffing Billy Railway is a unique Victorian tourist experience. (To get to Belgrave, we travelled by train from Southern Cross, transferred at Flinders Street Station and arrived fifty minutes prior to the departure of our booked train.) Booking on line is recommended, and it is an easy process. Upon arrival, one must line up at the ticket office to collect the paper ticket. This is needed to be clipped on the platform by the conductors prior to boarding the train. The Station Master, Guard, and conductors were rather perfunctory prior to departure from Belgrave. Due to late passengers, the train departed ten minutes late. We were not fussed by this, but were somewhat disappointed by the attitude of the latecomers. The PBR staff treated the offenders with patience. Good on them. The locomotive, carriages and infrastructure are all beautifully restored and obviously well maintained. The journey to Lakeside was spectacular. The views were wonderful. Listening to the loco work up the grades was a real treat. Terminating at the lovely Lakeside Station allowed one to take a look at the Garratt locomotive and its train. (This train was the earlier service and was about to return to Belgrave.) The steam crew were more than happy to chat about their roles on the footplate and the mechanical features of the loco. This was much appreciated. One then had time to wander through the Visitors Centre. The historical display is informative and well presented. Reading about the history of the rail line and the district was quite interesting. The cafeteria was incredibly busy, but after ordering our food, it arrived promptly. The food was tasty (a chicken focaccia and soup of the day), and obviously freshly made. The catering staff were great. Very efficient. A walk around the lake was a real treat. The Dandenongs are a beautiful part of Victoria. Many passengers took advantage of the long break prior to the train departing to return to Belgrave. Returning to the Lakeside platform, and taking the opportunity to checkout the NA loco, I was able to chat to the young fireman. He is a great PR rep for PBR. We were able to talk about the loco and firing techniques. The return journey to Belgrave again a wonderful experience. A highly recommended experience well worth the effort to visit.

We recently held our wedding with the Puffing Billy Railway, chartering a train for our guests from Belgrave to Nobelius Siding (which was surprisingly affordable!) and hiring out the Nobelius Packing Sheds as our reception venue. On our wedding day, the staff went absolutely above and beyond in their service to us, with meal and drink service on board the train, and full catering with table service at the reception venue. The locomotive crew were even willing to move the train for better photos after its arrival at the station, and were willing to delay the return trip to Belgrave by 15-30 minutes when the reception ran late. It felt like the entire railway was there for us, and every one of our guests had nothing but positive things to say about the experience. During the planning process, the railway and staff were also very accommodating. They provided us with multiple inspections of both the venue and the dining carriages so that we could plan ahead, set up a taste testing date for the reception menu, worked with us to schedule a train that worked around their existing timetable, and allowed us access to the venue on the day before and after the wedding for bump in/out. Although there were sometimes some issues in communication which led to a headache or two, they allowed us to develop a thorough plan well in advance of the day. All in all, I'd highly recommend Puffing Billy as a venue for anyone looking for a way to make their wedding day a bit more unique. (Photos by "Had To Be You Weddings".)

We really enjoyed our visit to Melbourne Skydeck! The 360° views of the city were absolutely stunning and gave us a whole new perspective of Melbourne. Definitely worth a visit if you want to see the city from above.

The place is very family-friendly, and our kids were excited to spot famous buildings and watch the trams below. The interactive displays made the experience more fun for them. We tried some food and drinks from the café; although the prices were a bit expensive, we really enjoyed the mocktails, which were refreshing and tasty. If you’re visiting Melbourne, this is a must-see attraction — especially for first-time visitors who want to see the city from above. A short visit can give you a great glimpse of the entire city. Overall, it’s a wonderful experience for both kids and adults.

My daughter and I, visiting from England, had a great time on the tour of the MCG. Expertly guided by club member Anne, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience on the eve of the AFL Grand Final. As we anticipated, the changing rooms and Long Room were out of bounds so close to the big event, but these minor disappointments were soon forgotten as the rest of the tour was so informative and inspiring. Should you have the opportunity to also visit the adjoining museum you must do so, as this is a phenomenal experience. Many thanks to Bill, the very helpful volunteer who entertained me here. A real highlight of our trip to the city.

This is the second largest cricket ground. We were welcome to visit the cricket ground. Each and everything of the auditorium was clearly presented to us. We saw the cricketers landing area , their changing rooms , Physio therapy rooms , resting rooms . The ground was being maintained. We also saw the place where the speakers sit , the management sitting area cafeteria and so on . The best part is the museum. Very informative. Must visit whole you are at Australia don’t miss it.

Purchased a Tour and Australian Sports Museum Ticket. Best buy! Tour was fantastic and the museum has been well set out. Highly recommend both but if you're not a museum fan at least do the MCG Tour.

A bit like sealife we were underwhelmed. Im not sure Melbourne Zoo lives up to its expectations of a world class Zoo. It had so much potential. Now we are spoilt!! San Diego Zoo for example, and even Singapore. Personally I preferred Perth Zoo. I think the big thing for us was what appeared to be the lack of animals. Yes I know they could be sleeping but it felt like there was mostly only one of everything and you had buckleys chance seeing it. Funny enough you actually go to a zoo to see animals. Some of the enclosures felt small and not really good enough. There were also no shows like most other zoos, normally a daily programme. Also a lot of sections were closed either for a private function (not acceptable) or i don't know what. As with every entertainment event Food and Beverages are always a rip off but the quality, variety and costs here were terrible, again compared to other zoos. To be totally honest for the cost it's not really worth it. Fantastic for tiny kids otherwise forget it.

Had a really great time at Melbourne Zoo, the weather was a little crazy so not all the animals were out but it was still okay. the meerkats are so adorable, they are definitely used to people. Few food places within the zoo out didn’t get the opportunity to eat at them. Found a couple of gift shops with a huge range of memorabilia. You get to walk inside a cage with lemurs in it which was really cool. zoo is open from 9am onwards. I suggest bringing an umbrella because the ones in the gift shop are $40. There is also a beautiful Japanese garden and a koi fish pond. Great function rooms.

we spent 3 hours here (skipped a handful of exhibits). great zoo to visit. super easy to navigate, great variety of animals. animals look well taken care of, with a lot of thought and effort put into their habitats and enrichment. lots of education for visitors. appreciate all the conservation efforts and information as well. loved this zoo and highly recommend it.

Melbourne Zoo is an amazing place to spend a day. The grounds are beautifully kept, and the habitats feel natural and spacious, giving you the sense that the animals are truly cared for. Don't expect to see all the animals. Some of them are sleeping or just hiding from the public. Not all of us like cameras and lots of attention. Hahaha 😁 There’s a fantastic variety of wildlife — from lions and gorillas to playful lemurs and the always-fascinating butterfly house. It’s also very family-friendly, with plenty of activities and areas for kids to learn and explore.

We had a fantastic day out! The zoo was huge and had so many animals to see. The food was yummy and prices were super affordable. Only bummer was the butterfly garden was closed when we visited. Would definitely come back, there's just so much to see and enjoy!

Had a wonderful visit to the zoo to see the new baby giraffe. We are members and love visiting the zoo as a family. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. Loved the butterfly house but was disappointed at the Asian tourists trying to touch the butterflies. There really needs to be an attendant in the butterfly house the whole time because even after pointing to signs not to touch these people were touching. Made my heart sad for the little butterflies.

visited the Melbourne Zoo on a Friday and was genuinely impressed. It’s hands down one of the best zoos I’ve ever been to. The variety of animals is excellent, and what really stood out to me was the thoughtful, intelligent design of the enclosures. They allow you to get remarkably close to the animals — much closer than in many other zoos — without ever compromising the animals’ comfort or safety. While the ticket price is on the higher side, I found it absolutely worth it once I was inside. You can really tell that a lot of care and effort goes into making this place special — both for visitors and for the animals. Highly recommended!

Absolutely love Healesville sanctuary! My kids and I always have the best time when we visit. The staff are lovely, animals are gorgeous, plenty of play areas and beautiful bush land. I love the peaceful feeling I get when I hear the river water run. The flight arena bird show is always fun but warning it can get quite toasty in the warmer weather as there’s little to no shade in this part. I absolutely adore the bird enclosure with the gorgeous black cockatoos ❤️ my favourite birds. The kids love all the play areas but their favourite is the sandpit with the dinosaur skeleton.

Fantastic experience. Bigger than I expected. Good to have talks at different locations. So happy I got to see a platypus, Tasmanian Devil family at feeding time and echidna. The koalas were active moving and eating so it was a perfect time to walk past. Spirits of the Sky show was awesome. The birds were so well trained out in the wild (no enclosure) and they performed for us. Loved the swoop to catch a fish in the water, crack open an emu egg and reveal of thanks signage. It was different seeing a wombat and kangaroos in an upturned position (playing dead). Wow, a tree kangaroo. A wonderful visit and beautiful sunshine to make it the amazing time I had. The map was really handy and the signages were great.

I love coming here, every time we return it’s always as enjoyable as the last. The habitats created for all the animals are beautiful replications of their homes in the wild. The wellbeing and happiness seems to be well taken care of in this zoo, the animals always seem very at ease no pacing or signs of distress. There’s something really serene and peaceful about this place, love having a chat with the staff too. Today was the first time we went near the end of the day, and it worked out quite well as we got to see the kangaroos having their evening feed, looked at the reptiles with not a single person in the the whole building too. Always a lovely experience.

A wonderful zoo will undoubtedly delight visitors. The extensive grounds offer the opportunity to get acquainted with a variety of wild animals, from platypuses to rare species of kangaroos. You can also see active snakes and turtles here, as well as visit the laboratory and observe many wild and rare birds. Additionally, visitors will be able to see dingoes, koalas, and much more. Visiting this remarkable zoo promises to be interesting for both children and adults.

We only had about 3 hours to spend and wish we had more. The exhibits were excellent. The animals had a lot of space and were also visible most of the time. The Tasmanian Devils were very active when we were there. We also got to see the platypus and attend the talk about them. I wish we had more time to hear more of the talks. The presenter was very knowledgeable and patient. The bird enclosures were also very nice with volunteers available to answer questions.

Me and my friends are all Zoo Victoria members, and we absolutely love animals! 🐾 Healesville Sanctuary is one of our favourite places to visit. We often come here whenever we have free time — it’s such a lovely and joyful place to walk around and spend time with friends and family. All the staff are always so nice and friendly. I especially love listening to the animal talks and watching the Spirits of the Sky bird show — it’s amazing every time! 🦅 We always leave feeling relaxed and happy after visiting. Highly recommend it to all animal lovers! 🌿💚

We walked around for about 3 hours seeing the animals and watching a cool birds of prey experience. There were lots of different kinds of parrots and water birds. I was so stoked to see some pelicans up close as id only ever seen them on tv. We didn’t get to hug a koala or hold a snake but I fell in love with the echidnas and the baby duckbilled platypus. Most of the animals were either hiding in the shade in the cool and i didnt blame them as we were melting ourselves. It got up to 25 or 26c at one stage. 40 years ago I visited this sanctuary when I was on a big international group camping trip kind of like a scout jamboree but it was called Rally Arura ( and was church based). It’s certainly changed a lot in the past 40 years. I’ll have to hunt out my old photos when I get home. Was it worth $119 AU for the two of us? Definitely.

Easy walk from the car park. Only 700 meters. There are harder longer options available that are very scenic. It's good to see the progress of recovery after the 2009 fires, but will take many years for the trees to grow back to the same grandeur. A visit at night is highly recommended, where the falls and the paths are lit from the small 13kw hydro electric plant on site.

Magic short walk for the family up the Falls. Steep in sections, but a well kept track. Toilet facilities too. Nice and close to town for a lunch stop after the walk. Loads of options there. Also a great park for the kids too.

Always an amazing experience. I have been to the falls 4-5 times and it never fails to bring a smile on my face. If you can do a bit of hike you should go to the top of the fall as the experience there is really amazing and the views to love for. However if you are kids or don’t have much time then just a short walk to the viewing platform and you would love the fall.

Best waterfall we have been too! There is about 20 car spaces in the car park, my advice is go early otherwise you will be parking further down the road and walking more. Toilet on site and only about 2 minute walk on flat ground from car park to viewing platforms to see the waterfall. There are several other trails for those who want the extra adventure, we took one to the top of the waterfall, about 15min up and 15min down, take care on the muddy track and wear appropriate footwear. The sound, the views, the smell all just incredible, our 9yr old handled it very easy and we saw some elderly people also doing the hike to the top. If you have read this than you need to be in your car already and going :)

It's so beautiful here , the creek with its clear water running from the waterfall, the nature sounds it's a very peaceful place to visit . It is about a 45 min hike if you're going all the way to the top of the waterfall.

Beautiful waterfall, best scene from below but definitely worth the 800m-hike to the top of the falls for good views and fresh water. Get there before 11am to avoid crowds.

Great venue for an excursion with the family. Lots of parking on the street if the main carpark is full. It was very busy here so unfortunately we couldn’t try the cafe as it was fully booked and there were no tables. Take a gold coin with you as there’s a motor museum next door that requires a gold coin for entry.

I’m so sad I didn’t discover this beautiful place earlier! The dining atmosphere is amazing, the staff are super sweet, and the food is absolutely delicious. The best part is that you can actually watch the chocolate and licorice being made, and then buy the beautifully packaged products right in the shop. Simply perfect! I love this place so much—every souvenir was so tempting to take home. Both the products and meals are very reasonably priced. Such a fantastic tourist spot! 👍

Fantastic information if you can do your. So worth it. More than just a factory, gift shop, whiskey distillery and a restaurant. Fantastic place to visit, meet up and have a great day. Then next door visit the museum of Cars,Mowers, Motor Bikes, plus more.

A fun experience for the kids (and us adults too) to watch the licorice being made. A nice looking on site cafe as well as a shop with lots of licorice and chocolate choices. A walk around the gorgeous outdoor gardens with plenty of seating and photo opportunities.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a lovely visit to the Junee Chocolate and Licorice Factory! The place has such a charming and welcoming ambience — perfect for enjoying their delicious treats. We tried the strawberry and chocolate milkshakes, and both were rich, creamy, and absolutely delightful. The gift shop downstairs is fantastic, offering a wide variety of chocolates and licorice to take home — perfect for souvenirs or gifts. I also loved that you can watch the factory in action through the viewing windows, which makes the visit even more interesting. Don’t miss the second-floor shop either — it’s full of kitchenware and Crocs shoes, a fun little bonus find! Overall, a great stop for families, chocolate lovers, and anyone passing through Junee.

You MUST drop in here if you are anywhere near Junee. Coral the owner is so knowledgeable about everything chocolate and licorice. Absolutely fantastic. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

What a beautiful place. So serene, well thought out. Everything was in full bloom. Ducks were in there splendour. We even saw some ducklings Finished our afternoon off with a drink and snack from the Cafe.

A beautiful, tranquil experience! It is a must do attraction if you are visiting Cowra. I'm a local, and love taking my visitors and kids to the gardens. There's ducks and fish to feed, and lots of lizards to spot along the way. Highly recommended!

I love this place so much that I've bought a yearly ticket. I'm looking forward to seeing each season. It's a lovely drive from Canberra through Boorowa and great for my dogs. The staff are wonderful; so friendly and helpful. It's a pleasant overnight trip on a weekend.

This was a wonderful experience to walk around these beautiful manicured gardens. They took you to another world. Great service in the cafe with great food options and then a lovely gift shop and our dogs were welcomed to join us.

This is a lovely and serene garden that is well worth visiting. It is bigger than I expected, but not too big to be explored in 1-2 hours. You can also set up your picnic rug and spend the afternoon here. There is a cafe as well, up front.

If you love flowers this is the place for you. There is plenty of parking for cars & caravans, clean facilities, gift shop and cafe. The gardens are easy to walk around with plenty of spots to stop and enjoy the view.

A true icon and amazing destination for not only car racing fans. The views are beautiful, especially on a clear winter morning with the low cloud across parts of the town. Everyone you speak to on the mountain has a smile on their face. The walk is awesome and a great heart starter before jumping back in the car for a 3 hour drive. Thoroughly recommend the visit.

One of the all time greatest experiences of a life time. All fans of motorsport need to go to Mt Panorama, Bathurst at least once in your life. Awesome!

Finally made it to Mount Panorama, and wow, what an experience! Even when there’s no race on, just driving the circuit at normal speed gives you chills. The elevation changes, the sharp turns, the views over Bathurst… it’s unreal to imagine the pros flying through it at full speed. I stopped a few times to take in the scenery and honestly, every corner has history written all over it. The National Motor Racing Museum nearby is also worth the visit. So much passion and heritage packed into one place. Whether you’re into motorsport or just love a scenic drive with serious Aussie character, Mount Panorama is a must-visit. I left with a full heart, a phone full of photos, and a huge smile. Can’t wait to go back! 🏁🇦🇺

It was interesting to have a look at the track and get an idea of what it's like to drive around. Speed limit is 60 can't imagine the speed the drivers do and in terrible weather conditions like this year. They are crazy or very brave

The vintage motor car museum collection was really nice to see. The beautifully preserved cars and classic designs made it an enjoyable and nostalgic experience.

Ita the best place ever. Bathurst 1000 is the greatest event.

In your travels North and South up and down the Newell Hwy if your never stopped and taken the time to divert off the hwy to visit the Parks Observatory you are doing yourself a disservice. If your got kids it is especially worth while. Only a hand full of Km north of Parks and about 6km down the side road will get you there. Free entry with most of activities designed and aimed at the kids around 9-14yrs. Lots of photos and interesting information panels for the adults and hands on activities for the kids. The gift shop is A1 with good prices for a wide variety of interesting items to buy. The actual 'dish' is huge and most impressive and you will be amazed. It is still in operational use presently. There is a guided tour available but we didn't do that. This side divert will easily chew up a couple of hours and both you and the kids will appreciate getting out of the car far a very interesting tourist attraction. Got a Cafe there as well. Free and ample close by parking including long vehicles and free entry. Make sure you visit the outside two opposing dishes 70mts apart where if you face into one dish and whisper your partner can hear what you say facing into the other dish. All in all a great little place to visit that will consume no more than two hours of your time and break up your drive. Highly recommend.

Great 3D movie to inform the public about our planet & solar system. Great displays and of course a view of the dish. Plenty of gifts & merchandise with space in mind. A cafe available. Movie was a cost, but everything else was free to view.

Great place to look around to explore and learn some history. If you haven't seen the movie The Dish, I suggest you watch it and learn more about what it does. It's free to go in and check everything out. The whisper dishes out the front are great. You start whispering in them, and the other person over at the other didh can hear you as though you were standing beside them. Awesome place to visit

This is my 3rd time here and it just blows my mind. Lots to see, but unfortunately the cafe/ food is now closed, very disappointed as i would have liked a coffee while enjoy the structure rotate today. Must must must do everybody!!

Great stopover on the way to Dubbo! We saw the 3S experience which was only $16pp and we didnt even know Australia had a Observatory like this! Such a great experience

Nice little stop on the way through NSW. Interesting information center and GOOD doughnuts! Worth the stop if you are passing through or if you are in to space exploration and the moon landings!

The museum is cool, they have the universes baby picture. My brother is jealous and wants to also visit.

We had such a lovely time at Lowe Family Wines! The picnic hamper was really good and paired perfectly with the wines. Fretta was so nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The winery itself is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views, and of course the wine was fantastic. Such a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the day—highly recommend!

We booked a last-minute wine tasting and Deluxe Hamper online, which was super easy. Amelia hosted our tasting and we also spoke with Brian, both were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, we learned so much. The wine and food were fantastic, and the view over the vineyard was just stunning. Such a wonderful experience, we highly recommend Lowe Family Winery to anyone visiting Mudgee!

We always visit Lowe Family Wines on our getaways to Mudgee and it is fabulous every single time. Our latest visit included a ‘let the chef and winemaker choose’ lunch. So much fun. Such great food and with the winemaker, David Lowe pouring for the long table of around 40, great wine was flowing. Such a great experience in a really beautiful, family owned winery. You can’t help but feel absolute joy! These guys put their heart and soul into what they do and their hospitality is next level. You feel like one of the the family. Love it. A Mudgee must!

A truly amazing place with beauty and character and decades of experience behind the process. David Lowe has incredible vision and is using a sustainable energy approach to his whole production cycle. Visiting was a revelation and a truly immersive experience.

Had a wonderful tasting at Lowe Family Wine Co today. The setting is beautiful, and our fabulous host, Elle, made the visit memorable with her warm, fun, engaging approach and great knowledge of the wines. It was relaxed, informative, and a lovely start to our day in Mudgee. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re exploring the region.

Our favourite winery in Mudgee by far. Lovely views, amazing wines but what brought the experience to another level was the expertise that Brian brought to our wine tasting. Walked out learning so much. Brian did an amazing job describing the wines in scientific but fun way. Came during the week. Would recommend booking ahead as this is not one to miss!

A great place to just relax and enjoy a lovely antipasto platter and a nice glass of wine. I went out and did the Lowe Flow wine tasting with a lovely group of people from Dubbo and had a blast. The sommelier was amazing and very informative on what we were trying.. will definitely be back!
