The Musée National de l'Automobile, also known as the Cité de l'Automobile or the Mulhouse Car Museum, is a vast complex that houses over 500 classic, prestige, and racing cars. It is considered the largest car museum in the world. The museum showcases the history of automobiles from their inception in the late 19th century to present day.
What a place! Totally didn't expect it to be quite this big or have as many cars and exhibits!! It is well worth the entrance fee and the exhibits are laid out really well. It has around 500 cars and 120 Bugatti's on display! The restaurant is great too and decent value. If you are in the area, visit and spend the afternoon seeing some great cars!
Alasdair M — Google review
If you’re a fan of classic cars, this museum is a mustsee. The collection is vast and seems endless, with many beautifully preserved vintage models. During my visit, there was also a special Tintin exhibition, which made it even more enjoyable.
Izem M — Google review
This was a quick day trip for us while staying in Basel. Amazing collection of automotive history and well worth spending a few hours to explore. The collection of cars from the Tintin books was very cool, particularly if you're a Tintin fan like me!
Kenneth C — Google review
DEFINITELY A MUST if you're in Mulhouse area, east France. The fact that Musée National de l'Automobile has an collection of more than 400+ cars ranging from more than 100 years ago, is amazing itself. Not to mention they have probably the world most complete collection of Bugatti, like almost a hundred of them. And one of them in the Masterpiece area, the 1936 50T Cabriolet, is now the world most expensive vehicle, worth 100M Euro !!! The details of it, and the idea of building a luxury car back to almost 100 years ago, is really highly admired.
Bill L — Google review
One of the best car museums i’ve ever been. It’s really worth every penny you’re paying for it. Tons of great, rare and unique pieces you will find there. Nice location, brilliant realisation. All cars are in good condition, and like in any other real museum, you can smell oil, gasoline and old leather from them. If you have kids or you just unbelievably love cars, you’ll be happy there
Igor G — Google review
Millions of dollars worth of cars, and they couldn’t get a decent translator for the placards? Honestly it became kind of amusing just how bad the English translations were after a while. The cars are stunning, there is no denying that. Arguably the most complete collection of vintage Bugattis in the world (but surprisingly no modern ones - no Chiron, EB110, not even a Veyron? Maybe they’re locked away somewhere else) 1/4 of the cars in the main hall were covered in white drapes due to construction. To the contractors/ museum officials, I say to you: “ plastic sheeting comes in transparent forms”. Overall a vanity project of a (now dead) rich white guy but there’s some stellar automotive and racing history laid out in these rooms. You’re in Mulhouse, you’re likely gonna go.
Greg M — Google review
Quite possibly one of the greatest car collections in the world. The outside is Beautifully presented... Upon entering the building you have no idea of how overwhelming this place can be. As you begin walking around and seeing a few cars you get lulled into it being a normal museum.... But then you walk into the room with a few Bugattis... You keep walking and seeing more Bugattis... Then you realise, one whole side is just Bugattis 🤯 Then you see the Bugatti Royale.. and realise hold on the have two Bugatti Royales 🤯 .. This place is crazy the sheer number of Bugattis and special cars is crazy... Then the story of the Schlumpf brothers ... Simply put, if you are a car lover you must come here... It's epic.. The shock value never diminishes even after multiple trips
RR C — Google review
One of the best car collections I have seen. From old to new and some extremely rare peices. We spent about 3 hours in here. There were lots of other things inside to keep children entertained too. There was a section all about Tintin which showed the different books and the cars linked to it which was nice. There was a driving simulator, small ride on cars and a vr F1 experience.

Specialty Museums
Cité du Train is a modern museum dedicated to the history of trains and railways, featuring an extensive collection of rolling stock and audiovisual exhibitions. It is renowned as the largest railway museum globally, with three main exhibits showcasing the evolution of rail travel through different eras. The museum's comprehensive scope has expanded over the years, including notable additions such as the famous TGV-Atlantique #325, which set a speed record in the early 1990s.
Definitely one of the great Train Museums of the World. Apart from the normal for Europe rolling stock, they even have three American made Locomotives. A MUST see if you're interested in History and Technology. Kid friendly, they have two kid rides.
Hector G — Google review
If you are a train fan, reserve 3-4 hours of your time to see everything. For everyone else: at least 2 hours to just walk the whole thing. Fantastic collection, large and diverse. Great for all ages; there are educational sections, too, to learn how trains work. Entrance was 16 EUR, which, in my opinion, is absolutely reasonable for the content you are getting. There is a local restaurant on site where you can eat for 15-20 EUR per adult, drinks included. Very easy access by public transport: 20-minute tram ride + 450-meter walk.
Alexey F — Google review
One of the most amazing museums I’ve ever visited! 3 hours went by without noticing and both us parents as well as our 5 year old kid had loads of fun! Totally recommend this place!
Dragos P — Google review
Great train museum showcasing the history of trains and French public transport. The collection is huge and very well maintained.
Sebastian M — Google review
If you like trains and history it's really worth it. I think you can spend 2.5-3 hrs easily with a normal speed of going around and see everything.
Zsolt J — Google review
Nice railway museum with lots of examples of former trains (including various record-breaking locomotives and TGV trains!). There’s a gift shop and restaurant. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Rob ( — Google review
Visiting this museum truly felt like an authentic journey back in time. The sheer variety of the trains on display was incredibly impressive; I honestly never imagined that locomotives and passenger cars could be so stunningly beautiful. I was especially fascinated to learn about the most luxurious 'apartment trains,' which were essentially rolling homes complete with sleeping rooms, dining cars, showers, and even private cabinets. It was a genuine surprise to see how many domestic comforts were available on the rails, historically and perhaps even today. What truly sets this museum apart is its immersive organization. It’s not just a static collection of old trains, but a thoughtful presentation of a specific historical era. The museum does an excellent job of creating the atmosphere of the past by installing various figures to simulate scenes of travel and daily life. While I would agree that the figures themselves weren't always aesthetically perfect, the recreated scenes and detailed environments successfully brought the history to life, offering a powerful sense of context and time.
Alona K — Google review
As descripted, one of biggest railway museum. Collection mapping mainly french rail history, wich is luckily also world history. Interesantly and complexive. I mean here is possibly everything (about french history in any case) , exept Andre Chapelon´s SNCF 240P class (some other is). For me is it Must see!

Home Little Venice is a charming district located in the southeast of Colmar, France. The area features colorful half-timbered houses dating back to the 14th to the 18th centuries, originally inhabited by wine-producers, market gardeners, and boatmen. The tradition of painting houses according to the occupants' business adds to its charm.
Best apartment we stayed in whilst on our 2 week tour of Europe!!! So cosy, comfortable beds and sofa! A TV we could actually listen to as had the option to change some channels to English. Such a lovely view also! Right out on to the little canal! Highly recommend!!!
Sammiiee A — Google review
This place is in a great location, but is very dirty and has broken doors, broken lights, a broken shower. It is a beautiful home on the outside, and is in a great location but it has been very poorly managed and neglected and it is obvious when you stay there. Great if all you care about is the location, but avoid it if you want to have a decent place to stay.
Chad H — Google review
A "Real Eyeopener"! This compact "old town" area of Southeast Colmar is a place "not to be missed" by visitors! It gets its name due to the "historic houses" built on both sides of the small, meandering, Lauch River.... and the "fairy tale vibe". The area is wonderful to walk around-- and has cobbled streets, colourful "half-timbered" houses, and a "covered market". It can also be seen by boat. It has been awarded by TripAdvisor the esteemed "Certificate of Excellence". It is indeed well worth a visit. It is no wonder that it has been rated as one of the "top of places" to visit/things to do, while in Colmar. It will definitely add to one's memories of the visit. I hope that this Review has been helpful.
Mark D — Google review
Lovely time walking around Home Little Venice there's so much more than the picturesque bridge's to see with a few lovely restaurants along the canal, and little boat trip back and forth . It's only a short walk from here to the indoor market . My recommendations would be early evening when all the lights come on for beautiful pictures .

Vieille Ville, also known as the Old Town of Colmar, is a picturesque and charming area that feels like something out of a fairy tale. The streets are lined with colorful half-timbered houses, creating a storybook-like atmosphere. Visitors can wander through narrow cobblestone streets and explore local cafes, bakeries, and shops offering crafts. St. Martin's Church stands as an impressive architectural marvel in this historic district.
It is an extremely beautiful town. It is better to be called a living museum. The only drawback is the large number of tourists visiting there. Maybe it is better to target a period where tourism is at its lowest level so you can enjoy it more. On weekends you can buy a cheaper family ticket from Strasbourg for Colmar and the whole region
Ragui F — Google review
This place is so beautiful it’s almost hard to believe people used to (and still do) live there. Every nook and cranny hides beautiful facades and picturesque displays of little shops and cafes. I’d recommend this gem over more popular European (and even French) destinations.

Fabulous place, plenty to see around every corner. The market hall was amazing and also there was an artisan fair on the day I visited. However it was difficult to find public toilets as the signage wasn’t clear enough.

This little town is something out of a fairytale! Definitely a Disney snow white feel. The buildings are beautifully decorated, the presentation of the town and the shopping was amazing! A must visit destination for a day trip!

The Unterlinden Museum, located in a former 13th-century Dominican convent, is a captivating blend of religious and local history alongside an impressive art collection. One of its most renowned pieces is the Isenheim Altarpiece by Matthias Grunewald, known for its powerful depiction of Jesus' story and its historical significance as a source of solace for medieval hospital patients.
It was very positive... I was more keen this time on contemporary art works which are breathtaking and it invited me to humility... Yes, they speak much beyond what I understand now..

Try to came by here if you happen go to Colmar or the area around. The museum with remarkable architectuur and art collections. Is not as big as Louvre but it is worth a visit. Price ticket for adults €13 per person.
SISU T — Google review
Mid-sized museum with local artefacts, a famous painting (the Isenheim Altarpiece), and some modern art.
Sarah M — Google review
A stunning mix of medieval depth and modern elegance. The Isenheim Altarpiece alone is worth the visit – intense, haunting, unforgettable. The museum’s layout blends old and new beautifully, and the collection ranges from ancient artifacts to Picasso. Informative displays in multiple languages and a calm atmosphere make it ideal for a 2–3 hour visit. Highly recommended for anyone interested in art, architecture, or history.
Martin S — Google review
Great museum lots to see and so many different floors and rooms...we spent 2hrs 40 minutes ...viewing the many historic artifacts...
Margaret H — Google review
I don’t often rate museums but this one deserves it. The Isenheim Altarpiece is the star of the show, and they do it perfectly. Plenty of space is given to each set of panels. Plenty of educational materials are readily available. And bless them for this-benches so one can sit and contemplate. Generous space is also allowed sit the masterpiece can be thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. The rest of the museum is a delight. A wide range of art and artifacts from the history of Colmar and Alsace is presented. Again-with thought and thoroughness.
Rob R — Google review
Intimate museum with some extraordinary pieces of art. Very quiet and relaxed visit. I was in awe of the Insenheim Altarpiece. It is extraordinary!

Very interesting and expansive Park with great gardens
Stephen G — Google review
The Wesserling Park and Castle, nestled in the heart of the Thur Valley in Alsace, is a unique blend of nature, heritage, and culture. While the park is well known for its stunning gardens, this year offers an exciting new experience: the Wesserling Castle has reopened its doors after a meticulous renovation, unveiling a new chapter in its fascinating history. After several years of restoration, the castle has been beautifully revitalized, while retaining its historical charm. Visitors can now explore its newly restored rooms, each filled with period details and a unique ambiance that transports you back in time. The perfect fusion of modern updates and historical elements showcases the respect given to this Alsatian treasure. As for the park, it remains a must-see. Designated a "Remarkable Garden," it features a variety of themed gardens, offering a delightful diversity of landscapes. From the formal French garden to the vibrant vegetable patches, each section bursts with colors and scents that change with the seasons. In the summer, the park hosts cultural exhibitions and events, adding a lively, artistic touch to your visit. Whether you are passionate about history, a lover of nature, or simply in search of a peaceful retreat, the Wesserling Park and Castle is sure to delight. The reopening of the castle in 2024 marks a new era for this iconic site, making it a must-visit destination this year.

A very beautiful park and museum. The gardens are pretty large (although not humongeous, you won't need a full day to explore it all). Some places are currently being renovated. The only downside is that the entry is pretty expensive but it's not unexpected.

A beautiful place for walking. Nice camping nearby. The Elsas in France but with a German touch... Marvelous food and drinks... August 2023. We went to the 'Super U' supermarket. And as before, attractive place to do your shopping. Parc de Wesserling has a lot more to show but, I just went to the 'Super U'...

Was a great afternoon out. The exhibitions were interesting in the main building, and the gardens were stunning! WARNING! The exhibition in the other building is NOT for people who have a problem with heights! You're supposed to go in at the top and work your way down. I couldn't even tackle the ramp to the entrance without getting giddy! Insider tip...you can go in via the door on the ground floor. Well worth doing.

Located about 14km east of Motiers, Creux du Van is a stunning natural rock formation created by glacial erosion. The enormous abyss, known as the 'Rocky Hole,' features a crescent-moon wall that interrupts the green rolling countryside in a striking manner. Visitors can take a short walk to reach this breathtaking site and enjoy panoramic views of the 1km long and 440m deep canyon.
It’s an amazing scenic view on the Neuchâtel region and its lake. If you come early in the morning, you will see a beautiful sunrise on Alps and if you come for a picnic at the sunset you will see awesome colours (yellow, orange and red) on Alps. During the high séance, you can have dinner there at the restaurant “le Soliat”.

Gorgeous hike up and down, but your knees have to be fit enough! About 14km, took us 5h up and down including a break and stops to watch the animals and nature. The views at the top are stunning!
Amy P — Google review
Beautiful place with plenty of nice hikes available in the area
Stephanie A — Google review
Beautiful hike and very customizable to the people you are with. The food at the different restaurants is amazing and the views are breathtaking. Even though it was very hot the day we went, the tree coverage protects you from the worst heat. Recommend to go in the morning though!
Rhys B — Google review
You can hike from the city of Noiraigue. Depending on how fit you are it will take more or less time. I needed about an hour and a half to reach the top (and the trail is steep!) but it is absolutely worth it. It is a great place to visit and I will certainly go again someday! If you are not that fit I am afraid this is not the place for you.
Alejandro M — Google review
Beautiful view, great hikes, nice place. We even saw mountain goats - Steinböcke.
Nicole K — Google review
Magical place. I was there for stargazing. Nice, dark skies. Biel is visible though. But the atmosphere makes up for it.
Alexander G — Google review
Great view but hard trail to hike up How to get there? If you take public transportation, you get off at railway station: Noiraigue. The way up: you will turn left, then right, then you follow the signs to sightsee spot: Le Soliat. That are two paths upwards: I took the right side one, it is relatively long, but not so steep. Be careful that the way up is very nature, you will need good hiking shoes! Plan more time if you have kids with you. It took us 3 hours to up, and 2 hours downhill. The path is quite rough and tough, I warned you 😂 If you drive there, it might drive up to the restaurant Le Soliat. Please call them to verify. I would recommend this way for my next visit.

Such a great experience! We went there by a total chance and I’m so happy we did. Kids were amazed the whole time- recommend to everyone if you are in area. Pro-tip: if you come on the first Sunday of month- entry is free! Have a walk in citadel, museum, check out the Lion… there is plenty to do and find out. Also, views from the top- amazing!

Enormous scale sculpture, worth seeing when you visit Belfort citadel. Quite easy accessible from FORT side, hard from city side (a lot of steps)z ticket 1€

Wow, it's such a beautiful area to walk around in and was even bigger and more impressive in real life.

The Lion of Bartholdi is a monumental sandstone sculpture by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, located in Belfort, France. Symbolizing French resilience, it commemorates the city's determined resistance during the Franco-Prussian War siege. The lion's imposing size and expressive, romantic style vividly convey strength, defiance, and emotional power. This iconic artwork exemplifies Bartholdi’s skill in combining patriotism with dramatic, naturalistic form, making it a powerful symbol of courage and national pride.

Beautiful place with A great view of Belfort and the mountains. I thought you gave to pay everything but that wasn’t true. You can just walk to the fort, go up, enjoy the view and walk anywhere nearby. Also in the summer it is a good place to get some sun, because there is plenty of grass where you can lay down and enjoy the sun and the view.

Amazing sculpture at the top of the mountain. Be ready for lots of stairs. Around the statue, there are nice walks around the fortress

Lac de Gérardmer, a picturesque 1.2-square-kilometer glacial lake nestled amidst mountains, offers a range of activities for visitors. From fishing and swimming to boating and winter ice skating, there's something for everyone. Families can enjoy picnics by the clean and blue waters or rent pedal boats for leisurely exploration. The surrounding area features shady spots with picnic tables, a nearby playground suitable for all ages, and even a casino for entertainment.
Beautiful lake where you can swim and do camping, a beautiful village with a lot of hotels , restaurants and shops located in les Vosges .

Scenic spot, perfect for strolling around, boating or just enjoying nature.
Yuzena K — Google review
Located in Gerardmer, this beautiful quiet glacial lake offers stunning views over Vosges mountains🏞🌄. It is located at 660 meters altitude and has a maximum depth of 38 meters and a mean depth of 17m. It's waters are cristal clear, and they are the home of many fish species like carp, roach fish, pike and trout🐟. You have the opportunity to walk/hike around the lake or to rent boats (there are 3 or 4 boat providers and 2 that offer lake tour with bigger boats), to eat icecream or have dinner or lunch on the shores of this lake. Although it is surrounded by mountains and it seems like a place where no water sports can be practiced, it has on it's shores a sports center where teens and children learn different water sports🚣🏄‍♀️. It also has on it's shores an aquatic center with a natural pool and a beach🏖. Visiting in May this wonderful city and region, I am pleasantly surprised and impressed by this beautiful lake. I can't wait to come back do do the lake tour by foot🚶‍♀️, and to hike on the peak of one of the mountains to see the lake view🏞 that i have heard about..
Roxana Y — Google review
Small but nice lake, enough to spend couple of days of vacation here. Can rent the pedal boat to have a short look around (1 hour 16€). Or just walk on it's perimeter, won't take longer than few hours. Camp is there too, also you can find a casino and cozy tables with benches for a picnic. The lake itself is quite clean, allowed to fish and swim.

Seemingly impregnable fortress dating from the 13th century & commanding a strategic mountain pass.
A nice place with a lot of history. They have information in different languages. But the tour is only in France. Too sad. It makes it a lot more fun if it would. It’s a nice place with a good view

Really well worth a visit, we did it as a rainy day filler but am so glad we did. Was €7.50 euros and food value for money. Highlights for me were the gun emplacement, the spiral staircase and the deep, deep well hole but all of it was good.

We visited Chateau joux by chance, passing it by car and found ourselves in awe of the view. We quickly decided to take a detour and pay the castle a visit. We did not regret our choice at all. The staff is very friendly and even if you dont take a guided tour, guides stand at certain locations giving you explanations if you wish for it. The history, the view and the staff made our visit very worthwhile. If you happen to pass this site, we highly recommend a visit. Just drive up to the castle parking and enjoy your visit!

Exciting castle with interesting history. We went there before the main season, so we had to attend the guided tour in French supported by an English booklet. An OK experience, but we wish we'd understood the French guide who seemed very enthusiastic, and all the French tourists laughed a lot 😂
Jacob R — Google review
Big castle, interesting, however many many places closed to the public, everything is French only, many parts only to be visited with a French only tour, limiting the experience even more. It can be beautiful and interesting, but it is too bad it is closed off in so many parts and it is missing the services for non French speakers. Personel in the castle was rude to children (9, 7 and 4) who looked into an open door (cost 1 star).

Very very great castle! And such a Great visit! Very interesting history and good value for money activity. I had no idea what to expect but all the « expectations » were far exceeded! This is a strong recommendation and I give a special dedication to the staff on site. Loved it. Museum, very well maintained. Spend prox 5hrs here..cloudy, rainy & sunny day... With family (2 kids - 4 & 7yrs) with the HistoApp on the provided tablets searching for golden coins in chests and in the meantime get the glimpse of history. Got them engaged for the full 2.5hrs in the museums and another 2hrs in the gardens. Cherry on the cake were the gardens, one adventure after another one. So much flora to be found here very diverse fauna. If you like flowers, garden inspiration and history this is the place to see. Parking during high season (mid july) might be a challange (free). Parking is suitable for campers on main parking, there is a 2nd parking lot where high vehicles (2mtr+) are prohibited.

The Museum of Fine Arts Dijon is located in the Palais Des Ducs et des Etats de Bourbogne, a complex of buildings with different architectural styles. It houses remarkable collections from the 14th to 19th century, including art from Antiquity to the 21st century, Middle Ages, and Renaissance.
Beautiful museum! Spacious with beautiful displays of paintings, sculptures, and archeological artifacts, located in the historical section of Dijon. I spent three hours here and did not see everything, of course time spent depends on your interest. The staff was very friendly, the cost was free! (Thank you!) Museum hours were wonderful, open until 6:30! Highly recommend!

The rooms are beautiful. Lots of classic old works, a few modern works, so not very impressive for me. Admission is free, so it's worth seeing the architecture. Beware, there's a trap on the first floor, you'll never get out without asking... we weren't the only ones. Fortunately, the lovely security staff are there to help.

We were greeted by very friendly staff who explained the museum's layout. This museum is large, entry is free, and there are several floors of exhibits to see. The grounds around the museum are picturesque as well. Enjoy!

A free art museum! It was a treat, of course. I'm not an expert, but I think their collection was very good, based mostly on the Duc's collection. Don't miss the Duc and Duchess's tombs! Everything was in french and it wasn't very crowded, even on a Saturday and even with people fleeing from the rain, like we were.
Erika H — Google review
The Best Things in Life Are Free Well, that’s certainly true for the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Dijon. I first discovered it a few years ago while tracking works by Vieira da Silva and Nicolas de Staël—and since then, it has become an almost obligatory stop on the way to or back from the South. Just three hours from Luxembourg, and each visit brings something new. This time, a megalomaniac Chinese painter exhibited right in front of the tombs of the Dukes of Burgundy—a juxtaposition as unexpected as it is striking. And if you’re traveling with children, don’t miss the fantastical animals of Pompon. A place where history, discovery, and wonder are all free of charge.

The Dijon Museum of Fine Arts is well organised and an example of a must see museum outside of Paris, London, etc. There's everything from beautifully curated medieval art to sculpture to art and photography of the 1900s and 2000s. Nestled on the exterior of the stunning Eglise Notre-Dame in Dijon, the Owl of Dijon (La Chouette de Dijon) is a charming stone sculpture that has captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike. This small yet significant owl is not just an artistic feature; it’s believed to grant wishes when gently stroked, making it a must-visit for those seeking a bit of magic during their travels.
Cute little owl on the side of the cathedral. So many ppl touched it... you can't really see the owl anymore. Follow the golden plaque arrows around the city to find it

A modern old town, just follow the golden arrows for sightseeing. The shops are neat and orderly. I saw people slipping after the rain because the floor is slippery. It is recommended to wear shoes a good shoes. There is a restaurant that supports Down syndrome. I recommend you try it.
Jiraporn C — Google review
Palm-sized and polished by countless hands, the little owl carved into Notre-Dame’s wall turns a side lane into a ritual. Touch with your left hand and make a wish; the brass pavement plate with the owl logo marks the stop and small arrows carry you along Dijon’s Parcours de la Chouette. This is the route’s namesake and most photographed moment: modest stone, big civic idea. I like how the trail knits small details to major landmarks - marker, brief engagement, onward wayfinding - so one carving speaks to grander sites across the old town.
Loo Y — Google review

The Hôtel-Dieu Museum, also known as the Hospices de Beaune, is a remarkable medieval hospice turned museum that showcases local art and furnishings from the Middle Ages. Built in the 15th century to aid the poor and sick, this historic monument features stunning varnished tile roofs and serves as a museum of medical history.
The free audio guide really brought all of the amazing history of the Hotel - Dieu to life. Architecturally stunning and historically impressive. We loved every minute of our visit. (The audio guide also has a children's option so don't hesitate to ask!) We reserved our spot easily online and walked right in.

Really loved the audio guide that gave great information but was entertaining the way it is done. Took us about an hour and a half to go through and a great picture of the non wine history in Beaune. Especially liked the pharmacie room and the presentation of every day life in those times.

This was definitely the highlight of our visit in Beaune. The building used to be a hospital for poor people and is now very well restored. Entrance fee is Euro 12 - you can book online or pay at the spot. The roof and the building itself are very beautiful but they cannot be seen from outside. You need to purchase a ticket. I am glad we did.

A must have seen in Beaune. Yes the roof is great. But for me the history of the very old hospital and its foundation fascinates me more. You get an audioguide, which I highly recommand. Really peaceful day out, people working here were so friendly and although small we spent a good couple of hours here in the gardens as well as the small amount inside. Some great pictures in one of the barns of the restoration that started in 1980 with plenty of then and now photos. Situated in a quiet little area with nice cafes right outside. Parking was ample on our visit and entry fee reasonable for the visit. Very relaxing day

Château de Châteauneuf

Castle
Sights & Landmarks
Arrived on a Saturday to find entrance free, otherwise still a bargain at 6 Euros. Has had recent sympathetic restoration with well presented information in several languages. Most of the chateau is open to visitors. The views exceptional and the surrounding village very pretty. Streets are narrow so not suitable for larger vehicles. Parking is free and there are a few nice looking restaurants/ cafes to eat.
Richard V — Google review
A painfully over-restored castle. The newly restored right tower is not a sight to behold. Inside, however, many interesting details are still visible. Also of interest is the building's vertical open section, which reveals the medieval structure.
Michael K — Google review
I loved this castle! It is well-restored and has an interesting history. It's wild to imagine walking on floor tiles that have been in use for maybe 900 years! There is just enough decor and information to give you a sense of the castle over the centuries... It feels a bit like a treasure hunt, following along with the story of the former inhabitants and the renovation process. Don't miss the lower level with the story of the renovations. The video at the end almost made me cry. Keep an eye on time because they do kick you out for their lunch break! The medieval garden was so well-tended, we loved all the happy herb plants with their corresponding labels. I also loved the colorful tiles in the bathroom. It's amazing how the visitors center was designed so as to be essentially invisible when approaching the castle. We also really enjoyed the saunter through the town to get to the castle. What a charming place! It's a great value for the price of admission... We paid 6 Euros and we were there for almost two hours. Would have stayed longer!

This is a very well maintained beautiful small château that has an audio self guided tour as well as regular tours (check with chateauneuf team for hours and languages). The small village where the château is located is a very quaint village with beautiful stone houses and quite a variety of small restaurants where you can havevlunch, dinner or just an apéritif or a coffee break. Checked some of the menus andcthe prices were quite reasonable . . Definitely recommended !
Thanos O — Google review
It is not expensive to visit, which is fair as a lot of the castle is not available to see. There are a lot of videos to watch about the renovation work which are quite interesting. There were a couple of primary school classes visiting when we went, so it was often difficult to see anything. It's not somewhere I would take the smaller grandchildren as it's quite bland and a lot of reading to do to understand it. Parking in the very pretty village and toilets near the gift shop.
Karen P — Google review
Went with the family during our holiday. Kids (4 & 7yrs) loved it. Free entrance for kids, adults was not so expensive. (6eur p.p) (The souvenir shop itself was quite expensive) Keep in mind that between 12.30-14.00 visiting is closed. We spended ~1 hr in the château and also ~1hr in the village. Lots of art to be found, some restaurants but no grocery shopping.
Jeroen A — Google review
Lovely place for a walk and some ice cream. If you have the time, take the full tour of the fortress. If not, enjoy the majestic renovations and the view. Carefully: avoid walking under the oaks- the caterpillars are toxic.

An impressive cathedral showcasing a seamless blend of late Romanesque and early Gothic architecture. The style is remarkably uniform, with a beautifully restored and captivating main portal. A true ‘must-see’ in this tranquil city, which also features Roman remnants like a theater, city gates, and ancient walls.

Beautifully restored cathedral church. Some brilliant new stained glass. No visitors Sundays unless attending services.

Brilliantly restored and lit. One can see the carvings on the portal and on the capitals as never before. It looks absolutely lovely.

Impressive late Romanesque, early Gothic cathedral, very homogeneous in style. The main portal is well restored and very interesting. A "must see" in a quiet city, which also offers Roman remains: theater, city-gates, walls,...

A well restored Romanesque cathedral hiding behind later additions. Simple and clean lines. Capitals and main entrance carved by Gislebertus in the 1100s.

Fantastic history to the place, but a bit disappointing as to the use/ framing of that history inside the building (bearing in mind it is an actively used Catholic church)

Fontenay Abbey

Abbey
Nature & Parks
The Fontenay Abbey, established in 1118 by St. Bernard and considered to be the best-preserved of all Cistercian abbeys, still thrives today with its historic buildings and beautifully landscaped gardens. It is a testament to the ancient Christian faith that was once practiced within its walls for nearly 900 years.
A magical church surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers, with a carefully maintained garden where over 100 kinds of herbs are grown. These are used for medicinal purposes. The owner lives on the property, which includes private land. In the small stream, vibrant blue butterflies can be seen. In the past, bread was baked and wine was made here.
Ayumi — Google review
It was the most beautiful place I visited in France, my favourite from the trip. It's a bit sad that the different rooms are not decorated, they have no furniture and are mostly empty inside, but all the buildings looks beautiful outside. The gardens are also great. Among all the destroyed and half reconstructed abbeysz, Fontenay stands out for its marvelous looks.
B P — Google review
We really enjoyed our visit to the Fontenay Abbey. We basically had the entire place to ourselves. The paper guide was provided in English and was all we needed to understand all the different buildings and gardens. The church was amazing in its simplicity and the attached monks quarters were well preserved. The forge was a highlight with various re-creations of the water hammer first developed and used here. The gift shop was also nice. Parking was free and easy to access. Well worth the detour to see this wonderful historic site.

Fabulous abbey (the building or buildings occupied by a community of monks or nuns) consisting of different buildings, gardens, and channels. It claims to be the place where the industrial revolution started, and shows several industrial inventions. Very beautiful flower collection.

Phantasic place, very nice, really good! We enjoyed our stay.

Fontenay Abbey is a must-see if you're in that part of Burgundy. The abbey provides a self-guided tour in English that provides good information about the numerous buildings on-site. The long, rich history of the abbey is very interesting and the property is beautiful. The gift shop has a lot to offer, especially books on the region.

Basilique de Vézelay

Sights & Landmarks
Basilique de Vézelay is a remarkable Romanesque church located on a hilltop, featuring a unique carved doorway and housing the relics of Mary Magdalene. This Benedictine monastery, dating back to the 9th century, holds medieval relics associated with Mary Magdalene and has become an important Christian site for European pilgrims embarking on the Way of St. James.
The basilica in Vezelay is an unforgettable experience. It oozes history. It feels alive as if the past was still present, almost tangible. It is one of the most spiritual spaces that I have entered. Its architecture is timeless. Most impressive are the Roman capitals. Each of them is different and unique.

The Basilique Sainte-Marie-Madeleine in Vézelay is absolutely breathtaking. Its Romanesque architecture and peaceful light fill the space with a sense of awe and serenity. Walking up the hill to the basilica feels like a quiet pilgrimage through history. The view over the Burgundy countryside is unforgettable. A truly spiritual and moving place to visit.

A quiet, un spoilt hilltop town with a beautiful basilica. Free to wander round and take in the atmosphere. The start for many pilgrims. I am not religious but I was strangely moved by the experience of wandering round this place of pilgrimage. A relic of Mary Magdalen is on view in the beautiful crypt.

Wonderful Romanesque/Gothic structure. It was empty when we arrived at 9 am on a Mondy. Striking nave in its simplicity. Don't miss the crypt under the altar where they claim to have some of Mary Magdeline's remains. The viewpoint at the back of the building is also worth the short walk.

Cathédrale Saint-Étienne d'Auxerre is an airy, sculpted Gothic building with a rich history and stunning features. It was built on the foundations of several Gallo-Roman buildings and houses the St-Germain abbey crypt adorned with some of France's oldest wall paintings. The town boasts various architectural styles, from medieval to Art Deco.
Possibly the most difficult to photograph due to its location, but you can see the cathedral from various points in the city. His figure stands out majestically. Peculiar and asymmetrical, it is among the 10 largest cathedrals in France. Its interior does not disappoint, high vaulted ceiling, magnificent rose windows and stained glass windows. Free entrance.

Castle
Sights & Landmarks
Guédelon is a remarkable project where a team of workers is constructing a medieval-style castle using original techniques and materials from the 13th century. Located in the heart of an ancient sandstone quarry, this living museum offers visitors the opportunity to witness artisans such as stonemasons, carpenters, blacksmiths, and more at work. The site also features workshops where tools and materials for the castle's construction are crafted.
A Fascinating Journey Back to the Middle Ages! Guédelon is an absolute gem for anyone even remotely curious about history or medieval life. I was blown away by the dedication and detail that goes into every part of the site — watching skilled artisans build a real medieval castle using only 13th-century techniques is something truly special. I loved learning about the ancient crafts: stone carving, blacksmithing, carpentry, and even medieval paint making. The staff and craftspeople were incredibly passionate and open to questions, which made it feel like I was stepping into a living, breathing slice of history rather than just visiting a museum. It’s rare to find a place that’s educational, hands-on, and visually stunning all at once. Guédelon is one of those rare places. I left inspired, with a deeper appreciation for the ingenuity and resourcefulness of medieval builders. Can’t recommend it enough — especially if you’re a history buff or just love immersive experiences. I can’t wait for them to have a fortune teller and some medieval music and food. :) 350,000 views/month on Google Maps IG: @HeyDoranne

If your travels through Burgundy allow you take a 2 or 3 hour excursion, you should stop and learn about this 14th century castle re-creation project. They are building it with only period correct materials, tools and methods (while following French work safety laws). They use the materials on the property to source most materials for building - stone, sand, water, and clay. They get the lime they need by processing purchased limestone. Workers are usually there actively building so you can watch. I highly suggest a guided tour to fully appreciate the goals and effort put into this project. They've be at this for ~25 years. They have big plans, so they'll like be actively building for at least another 25 years.

Great location lots of cool things to see and read about. Showed up on A weekday in the summer no line buy a ticket. The staff were very helpful and good at speaking English and explaining in English. Over half the signage is translated however generally the signage within the castle is not. We had a wonderful visit
Natasha R — Google review
Fantastic opportunity to learn more about medieval castles and how they were constructed! Be advised though: you need to be at least conversational in French to get the most out of your visit. Far from all signs are translated and most of the guides and artisans only explain and converse in French. Likewise for the shop - I couldn't find a single book in English. Information leaflet and plan of the grounds is available in most major languages though.

Absolutely loved our visit! They’re lots to see, many people working their craft. Restaurant was alright but very basic and commercial. Not the same medieval vibe as the rest of the park. For sure worth a visit!

Absolutely loved this visit to a 12C castle being built in the 21C. Modern workers have been building a medieval castle using the technology and techniques of medieval Europe to build this castle twenty years. The skills they've learned through this experiment in practical archeology, were instrumental in rebuilding Notre Dame. I could have spent the entire day here.
Anne E — Google review
We travelled all the way from Australia to see this site, and it didn't disappoint. The project is amazing, educational and well organised. Even visiting on summer holidays- it was busy- but due to the large nature of the park, it didn't feel overly crowded. Plenty of places to have a picnic if you bring your own food. A great day out!

Nice place to visit with the kids. There is not much to do for small kids other than walk around and inside the castle. It's nice to see how the ropes, tiles and metal forging. Highly recommend to go during the week of you can. Also the restaurant is nice for drinks and ice cream and the prices are good. Caesar Keep

Historical landmark
Sights & Landmarks
Caesar Keep, also known as Tour Cesar, is a 12th-century watchtower located in Provins, a town with well-preserved medieval character. The tower offers panoramic views of the town and its surroundings from the top floors. Visitors can explore the rooms of this historical site and gain insight into its original purpose. The steep and narrow original stairs lead to the top floor, where visitors can enjoy stunning 360-degree views of Provins and its monuments.
One of our favorite experiences of the whole trip was exploring this tower. I’m thankful they let you into so many of the spaces here, and the views from each window are beautiful and worth lingering at. We’re suckers for medieval structures so the whole town of Provins was a great day trip. The tower is only accessible via varying levels of difficult stairs, including narrow ones to get up to the bell tower and a spiral set to get down at the end of the visit. Take care and take your time moving about. Bring toilet paper to Provins as the public bathrooms don’t supply any 😅
Christina J — Google review
Caesar Keep is a great historical landmark that showcases medieval architecture beautifully. It also offers an impressive 360 degree view of the small town. The top area was a bit dirty, with pigeon droppings and some accumulated dust, which took away slightly from the experience. Still, it was a good visit overall and a great way to appreciate the history of the place.

Feline Park

Feline Park, also known as Parc des Felins, is a remarkable zoological haven nestled in Lumigny-Nesles-Ormeaux, just southeast of Paris. This expansive breeding and conservation center focuses on the protection of various wild cat species, including majestic snow leopards and striking white tigers. Visitors can immerse themselves in the fascinating world of felines while enjoying a spacious environment that emphasizes animal welfare.
It is recommended to walk all the parks to see the surrounding scenery first, then go back to the entrance and take a small train. You will see the scenery that you can't see outside, and finally feed the lambs, which is the most interesting.
Ke P — Google review
Park is well organised but the map given to visitors needs improving as it has a bunch of logos on it but no legend for those logos. The train is quite good. The tiger enclosure looks small and the tiger a bit sad. One of the smaller cats seemed a bit out of sorts and kept going around in circles. The lion enclosure is quite big which is nice to see but they are a big group. The lemur enclosure was interesting. The guide told us there were about 7 lemurs that were excluded from the main group because they had been touched by visitors. You see in the enclosure the lemurs are friendly and walk around visitors to say hello and come right up close without barriers. One even jumped on a baby stroller so it is very easy to touch them. I was so stressed out the whole time someone would touch these curious lemurs and they would be pariahs. Why did the park not take this risk into account when designing the enclosure? You cannot trust all visitors to behave. There needs to be protection between visitors and the lemurs, like glass or a barrier. The monkey enclosure was super cool I have to say. And I really enjoyed the talk. We also went to the parrot park which is a 10 minute walk. It was quite nice.
EC F — Google review
A very good alternative to a day at Euro Disney for those who don't like rides, yet in easy reach should you be dropping off those who do. We were impressed at the scale of the Parc - lots to see, and no hurry to do so. Recommended to see the goats early (buy the bag of popcorn but keep it very high, and expect them to calm down only when the bag itself is empty and eaten!), then take the train ride to get a sense of the scale of the place, plus some of the cats are best seen from the train. Then go explore on foot, taking time to locate the cats where they are well camouflaged. If needed, there is a train stop at the farthest edge from where you can let the train take the strain on the way back. The ride back has an educational element and (spoiler) some sounds effects. Especially noteworthy are the very cute Lemurs and the pride of lions at the far end of the park, which can be very well seen from the impressive walkway and towers. For those whose French is not yet perfect, there are very good bilingual signs to help the English speakers understand the detail. A great day out. PS: There is a related park focussed on monkeys, a short walk away: see photo for price list for visiting just the cats or monkeys too.
Mike P — Google review
Amazing park. I have not seen too many beasts so close! The train was lovely too especially my little one loved it 😊
Adela — Google review
I would definitely recommend this place for family trips. There are a few food stands and one restaurant which have kid-friendly menu (sausages, hot dogs, waffles, ice cream, fries, etc). Of course there are toilets, which were quite messy when I visited this park. Also, you can ride a train around the park every 30 minutes for free! Another fun thing is the free 4D cinema, which is right next to the train station. The short movie was quite boring (for me, as an adult), but the kids liked it. And of course, there are many felines. They are categorized by their original continents. And there are also lemurs :). Overall, it was a pleasant visit. PS: please!!! make more of mamul souvenirs! I love manuls, and I was quite disappointed about the lack of souvenirs with their faces.
Adéla — Google review
The big cats have very spacious places to stay. As a result, they are sometimes difficult to spot, but that adds to the safari feeling ;) Take the time to see everything, for younger kids it can be a lot of walking. There is also a train that allows you to see many of the big cats. To see the little cats you have to take the walking route. Overall it took us about 4 to 5 hours to see everything. All animals have shelters where they can hide well if they want to, for this purpose houses and night pens have often been built for the small cats where you as a visitor have a good view. In the middle of the day they use these places to rest. The cats I've seen looked healthy and showed no signs of stress or boredom. On the signs at the enclosures you will find fun and useful information about the animal species and also the names of the animals that live in that enclosure. In the petting zoo you can feed the goats popcorn, and you can also feed the carp that swim around the lemur island with this.
Lot E — Google review
Great zoo with plenty of space for the animals, the train ride is helpful to see the extent of the park as it passes the large enclosures. There is a 2 Park / 1 day ticket available with the adjacent primate Zoo, and a 2 day ticket can be purchased for a small fee. Well worth a visit, just make sure you bring a camera with a long lens! :-)

• Timing & Tickets: We visited in early November. On the first Sunday of November and December, entrance is free. We booked the free tickets online in advance, so we didn’t need to buy any. • Gardens: The gardens were just starting to show autumn colors. The mix of red, yellow, and orange in the trees was stunning and very peaceful. • Museum & Visit: The castle museum was great to explore and very family-friendly. • Facilities: There’s a café on site, but you can also bring your own food and have a simple picnic in the park.

Went with a small tour group. Sunday afternoon, Mid-September. We really enjoyed the tour. Contains automatic start audio tour (per room), worked great. Paid the extra €5 to climb the dome (great views). The audio tour walks you through the tragedy of the owner, destroys a whole village to build his palace, throws a grand new house party, pisses off the king, gets framed, thrown in jail the rest of his life!

The audio tour is phenomenal, engaging, easy to follow, and full of fascinating context that brings the château and its history to life. The staff are warm, professional, and clearly care about maintaining the property’s magic. It feels like a hidden gem compared to the larger, more chaotic attractions. Take your time exploring the gardens, and don’t miss the rooftop views. They are breathtaking. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a truly enjoyable and well-managed cultural experience.

We only came to walk the gardens, so I can't speak about the inside tour. We had visited so many similar places, we assumed it wouldn't offer anything new. It's a bit expensive to just walk the gardens, but we were on vacation, so....you pay. There are many better locations that offer walking in the garden for free. Consider that before visiting here.

I you want to realize where Versailles comes from , you have to visit the chateau of Vaux le Vicomte. It took roughly 20 years to achieve this fabulous and human size castle that inspired Louis XIV to order the construction of the chateau de Versailles. Take the audio guide to enjoy the visit to its fullest. Check the hours because it is not open year round.

If your are an Indian, this place makes zero sense. We get all the same stuff in our own country in last than half the price. There discounted shirt starts at 120 euro. Jeans at 180 euros. I was very disappointed to see how europeans are ripped of for same stuff for such massive cost. Its just not worth it. If you have too much money to spend than may be you will like it. But not worth the trip if you are coming all the way from Paris. Eats half of your day and nothing to gain.

Despite being an outlet, there aren't any affordable items. I even found more affordable items here at Champs-Elysée. It's nice to wander around in the open air. There's also a classic shopping mall section, but the prices are above average. Don't waste your time.
Sky — Google review
Spent a half a day shopping at the outlet. The meeting point at the hotel to take a bus to the outlet was easy to locate. The staff at the meeting point was excellent and explained everything. The bus driver was very accommodating as well and waited to make sure everyone was on board both ways. There is ample time to shop. You arrive with the outlet opens at 10 AM and it is about a 1 Hour Dr. with a quick stop at Disney for drop offs. The return time to be back to the bus was 230.pm Hour You do have time to have a light lunch as well. There are many very high-end stores there and I recommend looking up the Directory of the various stories you would like to browse. you can register to become a member so when you arrive, you can check in with the concierge and have your packages sent to the concierge office so you are not carrying all your purchases with you while shopping. The discounts are worth it. There is a large mall at the end of the outlet you can explore as well. Make sure you have your passport in order to get the tax refund forms filled out in the stores, and you can obtain the return at the airport. I was told that you get more money back if you place it back on your credit card. At the airport or train station you can do it on the kiosk by yourself. Very self-explanatory. in total had approximately 4 1/2 hours to shop. I found that to be more than enough time.

Great outlet for shopping in Paris and you can use the Navigo Pass and take the RER train to get there. . When you get out of the train station, you just need to walk through the shopping mall and go to the other end where you will see the aquarium and get out of the exit to reach the Outlet. You can easily spend few hours at the Outlet.

Nice little outlet village with lots of big names like Gucci, Prada, Moncler, Burberry, Longchamp, and more. Great if you’re into fashion and love a good deal. Right next door is Val d’Europe, a huge shopping centre with high-street shops, supermarkets, and food options, good for a break or if outlets aren’t your thing. Personally, I’m not big on shopping, so it was just okay for me. But others in my group were thrilled and left with bags of bargains. Worth a visit if you love shopping. If not, still a decent way to spend a few hours.

The shopping was unbelievable! I had to buy more luggage to take home my finds! The Zara store has the best sales! I bought a YSL bag at Saint Laurent!

Water & Amusement Parks
Located near Paris in Marne-la-Vallee, Disneyland Paris is a renowned theme park complex that offers an enchanting and magical experience for visitors of all ages. Despite initial skepticism from the French, it has become the most successful theme park in Europe. The park features iconic attractions that bring beloved movies and cartoons to life, as well as thrilling rides for those seeking an adrenaline rush.
Wonderful. We have just returned home from a 4 day break to Disneyland Paris. It was fantastic. The whole place is beautiful. Perfectly kept gardens and flowers and magical music playing. Each area has its own theme. Wild West, Fairytale, future space and adventure land. Each has brilliantly crafted buildings and atmosphere and the music in each area really fits. The queue of the rides were between 10 mins and 45 mins. We paid via the app a couple of times for a single ride fast track which reduced the wait time to 5-10 mins even for super busy rides. The food and drink is very expensive so bring snacks and drinks in your bag to save money. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier, try speak a little French to them, it goes a long way. We stayed at the Cheyenne hotel which is a 20 min walk from the entrance. We will definitely go back.

Disneyland Paris is an absolute magical experience! From the moment you enter, you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairy tale. The park is beautifully themed, the rides are exciting for both kids and adults, and there’s so much to see and do. The parades and shows are spectacular, full of energy and charm. Food and merchandise options are plentiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful, making the whole visit smooth and enjoyable. It’s easy to spend a whole day exploring everything. Truly a must-visit for Disney fans and anyone looking for a fun, unforgettable experience in France!

Fantastic!! Absolutely worth the trip! Delicious food, friendly staff, awesome rides, cool attractions, beautiful park, amazing park design, fun merchandise, plenty of places to enjoy, fun for kids and adults of all ages. The restaurants had a wide variety of foods! I loved their vegan options. Incredible design of the Star Wars area was my favorite. Fun parade of costumed dancers dancing down Main Street upon arrival was great. Everything is well done here, all of the staff are top notch. The rides are super fun and make you want to re-ride them immediately. The merchandise shopping has an endless selection all over the park. Beautiful fireworks light show at night upon park closing is definitely worth waiting to see. Definitely worth staying in a walking distance hotel nearby so you aren’t stuck waiting for public transit at the end of the night!!!!!!!!! Shout out to Walt Disney, we all love you!

Both parks are equally good so it’s well worth getting tickets for both. You can comfortably allow a day for each if you have never been before. If you go for a second/third/fourth time you can probably make a long day of it and do the rides and attractions you know you want to do in a single day. The parks are not as big as the ones in Florida but not far off. As ever with a trip to Disney, you can’t expect to turn up and get a table at one of the character restaurants so book those as soon as you’re able to. And check what the situation is with fast passes online before getting there. I believe the days of getting them with your entrance tickets are gone so definitely worth checking before you arrive. Meeting the characters is great but it absolutely devours your time in the parks so decide early on if you want to get into all that. Make sure you download the app before getting there and connect to the park WiFi on arrival. It’s great for seeing the wait times for rides and where to head if you’re doing rope drop. The only thing that can let it down for me are the staff but hey, Disney did decide to build it in France. They could do with taking a leaf out of Tokyo Disney’s book.

Incredible experience everyone needs to go regardless of age and gender! Staff were amazing and so helpful, we had fast track and can’t recommend it enough. They had a gluten free buckwheat crepes, chocolate covered strawberries and a turkey leg, it wasn’t much but all tasted very good. It was a very clean park with lots to do. The firework display was fantastic and so were the parades and shows.

Absolutely magical experience, especially during the autumn/Halloween season! The decorations were incredible—the pumpkins, fall foliage, and festive touches created such a unique and fun atmosphere across the park. The main highlight is always the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle, which looked stunning in all its pink glory. We loved the character interactions; seeing Mickey and Minnie dressed up for Halloween was a special touch, and the parade was energetic and high-quality. Major shoutouts to the rides we experienced: Phantom Manor was a beautifully dark classic, and Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain delivered that thrilling punch of speed and excitement. Everything, from the themed snacks and treats to the overall upkeep of the grounds, was top-notch. A truly unforgettable visit—definitely recommend going during the fall months for the special festive ambiance!

An amazing place for adults and children alike. Especially those with children should visit it. Be prepared to be patient at some of the rides, but it's worth the wait. You must see the parade in the afternoon, and the evening show after the fireworks is something you will never see anywhere else.

This is a fantastic place to visit, from the UK it’s ideal,so close by plane, just like hopping on a bus. Basically it’s a dream come true for age groups especially the really young,to see the wonderment in their eyes will stay with us forever. All the staff we met were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, everything you could possibly need was well catered for and nothing was too much trouble, the only thing I would say though is pace yourselves because this place is vast and you can wear yourself out very easily if you try to do too much in a day. We will surely come again as it’s a destination that caters for the youngest to the grandparents,”absolutely awesome “.

Parc Walt Disney Studios

Parc Walt Disney Studios is one of the two theme parks that make up Disneyland Paris, featuring areas dedicated to movie and TV related attractions. It may not be as large as the main park, however it offers rides more suitable for younger children such as the popular Cars ride. The Hollywood Tower and Ratatouille are considered to be two of the main attractions in this park, which boasts a beautiful setting and aims to create an atmosphere reminiscent of Walt Disney's production studios.
Wonderful visit. The whole family had a great time. The line for the rides wasn't too long. The longest we waited for 1 ride was about 30 minutes, the rest was 10 -15 minutes. The Mickey show was really cute. They speak French & English throughout. They also have a person doing sign language. I do recommend buying tickets in advance and being prepared to stand in line before opening. A crowd does show up early.

The experience as a family is 100% and you make infinity of core memories! The organization, the set-up and walking distance between the rides are totally walkable. Hint, have your youngest kid at a hight of 120cm to be able to let them ride almost everything (Indiana Jones is 140cm hight requiret) The app crashed so many times, that I'm more than happy to delete it after the trip! Bring your own food! And beverage!

Absolutely worth the trip! Any Marvel Avengers fan will be in love here. Super fun rides! Absolutely loved the Avengers rollercoaster ride and the Spiderman ride. The Spiderman ride was super cool because you got to sling webs at enemies just like Spiderman. Awesome merchandise store with cool Avengers merch! Huge indoor dining area with lots of food options, including vegan options! Try the vegan salad at Studio 1, it’s great! Also you can get your picture with Mickey Mouse and other characters here!! Really fun, clean, exciting, nostalgic, amazing park! Really cool animatronic Iron Man looks so realistic! Life-size Iron Man Hulkbuster suit at the Stark Factory was so cool. Really enjoyed all the Stitch & Angel merch stores. I had a great time!!! Shout out to Walt Disney, thank you, I love you! Shout out Stan Lee, thank you, I love you! ❤️🥰🙌🎉

This place is amazing. If you have kids or are a kid at heart and have time to go, do it. Take comfortable shoes because the queues are immense. However the atmosphere is superb. The only down side is the price for everything on site. But well worth going just for the evening show and the music....... Warning the music is like an earworm and becomes an obsession if not careful.

Disney Studios is a fantastic park and (normally) i would go as far to say i prefer it over the main Disney park....but.... it is having major work done, and as such this has vastly decreased the park's size. The rest of it still keeps the Disney charm though. Despite visiting at the weekend we found the queues were not as bad as expected (apart from Spiderman). Worth bringing your own snacks in otherwise you'll be waiting a while and paying a lot for it. GOOD 👍 Attention to detail, especially in the sets. Looks fantastic. Some amazing rides. BAD 👎 Half of it is shut off. The old "Backstage Tour" ride has been rebranded and shrunk and is a shadow of it's former self.

The place is nice, but tiny. The attractions are good, and I paid for a "fast pass", which is utterly expensive, but you can only use it once in every attraction, which is absolutely unfair. You pay almost triple the normal fare, so you should be able to enter as many times as you wanted, like it is in Universal parks in Florida, but no. If you want to reenter one attraction, you have to do the normal lane. Unbelievable. And, to aggravate things, several attractions were damaged or closed, which made things much worse, because you have not a lot of choices. Rest aside, the park is enjoyable for the family as ever other Disney park (I know also the ones in Florida).

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Walt Disney Studios has transformed so much in recent years! The Ratatouille ride is still a must-do, incredibly immersive and very Parisian (currently under renovation but set to reopen even better in 2026). The new Avengers Campus is a highlight — Spider-Man and Flight Force are thrilling, and the whole Marvel area is full of energy and character encounters. Pixar theming adds charm throughout the park, and with the upcoming expansions (Frozen, Lion King, new entrance hub, Pixar lands), the future looks amazing. Crowds can be heavy, but the magic and quality of the attractions keep me coming back.
J L — Google review
Doesn't have the wow factor as the main theme park but certainly is still a great day out. Make sure you leave enough time in your trip to fully explore Walt Disney Studios, do the rides and make sure you see some shows. Nice that they are next door to each other so heading from one to the other on the same day isn't a problem. Tower of Terror is still a great ride after all these years!
