The Civic Museum of Crema is housed in the ancient convent of Sant'Agostino, a 15th-century building originally used by Augustinian friars. The museum showcases a well-stocked library from ancient times and features various rooms, including the remarkable refectory known as Pietro da Cemmo's room, adorned with rich frescoes dating back to the early 16th century.
In this city of Crema, it's most welcoming and also with the best Gardens. I heard that the Museum is cool for visit though I've never been inside. 🇮🇹👍👍👍

Little museum but completely free and that contains a lot of amazing paintings and art, that really reflects the Italian culture and the heart of Crema.

All the explanation in italian but if you enjoy art and history, you can pop by and take a look. Its free to go in.
CJHmike — Google review
Free of charge, much bigger and more eclectic than expected, and the newly acquired 20th-century artworks are a delight! Bonus was the little side exhibition about Italian-made typewriters across the 20th century, with the museum receptionist personally talking me through all the displayed typewriters' histories. What a lovely way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon in Crema, with a good glass of Valpolicella and a literary festival in the museum café and adjoining convent grounds to boot!

Terni Bondenti Palace, dating back to the late seventeenth century, was commissioned by Count Nicolo Maria Bondenti to showcase his newfound status as a count. This elegant palace replaced more modest buildings owned by the Premoli counts. The rococo-style architecture features intricate terracotta decorations on its portals, windows, and gables.

Botero is a charming restaurant located near Piazza del Mercato in Crema, Italy. The elegant and modern decor features reproductions of Botero's paintings adorning the walls, paying homage to the renowned artist. With both indoor and outdoor seating, it's an ideal spot for any season. The menu offers traditional Italian dishes like Tortelli cremaschi made from white flour, semolina flour, eggs, olive oil, and salt.
Just tried new menu, it's very good, starter shrimps, main course pigeon (best of the best) and dessert pudding with passion fruit (very fresh and delicious). Big list of wines.

Highly recommended restaurant in Crema, excellent food, the pizza dough was wonderful, and arrived quickly. We also tried the tortelli cremaschi, a typical bittersweet dish from Crema. The place is so pretty as well.

Speranza Pizzeria & Restaurant in Crema is an unexpected delight! Don’t let the name fool you - this is not your average run of the mill pizzeria. It’s an upscale restaurant experience with a wide variety of seafood dishes, meat dishes and pasta options. Yes, they also have a long list of interesting pizzas, too (and they looked great at other tables), but with all the other exceptional items on the menu, I couldn’t even consider pizza. Save room for dessert, too - they serve delicious, unique desserts. The locals dress up a bit for this restaurant - if you’re a tourist, you might not want to be super casual. 😊 Highly recommend!

Simply the best restaurant so far, with its atmosphere, friendly service and food. I want to salute the team there specially Giovanni who was professional, friendly and authentic in providing the service to our table.

We were enjoying our evening stroll, when hunger snuck up on us! The cure for our stomach rumbles? Speranza! They are located in an intimate alley way. No reservations, they graciously showed us a table for 2. Looking at their extensive menu, they have something for everyone here including pizzas, pastas, meat and vegetarian dishes, I would highly recommend the seafood dishes.I had pizza again as my love for pizzas is infinite! We were contented with our choices and they were downright delicious. However I noticed some of the tables ordered their specials - I think its called Spaghetti al Vesuvio. At the end of the heavy meal, for a digestif we had shots of limoncello. Service: Friendly. They speak limited English and we spoke limited Italiano, but we had it sorted out easily😊
Angelina C — Google review
We ordered pizza, prosciutto and seafood spaghetti, sparkling. Pizza and prosciutto was quick to arrive, water was forgotten and seafood spaghetti never came. After 45 minutes, enquired on it and waited for another 10 minute which when arrive was served to a wrong table, Finally it made it landed on my table. The spaghetti was hard and seafood overcooked. I supposed it was rushed. Finally had no choice but to cancel that order.

I ordered a Vegetarian pizza last night to go. As soon as I opened the box I can tell it wasn’t going to be good. I was 100% right. It was terrible. I’m from the US and I would expect better from a well known Italian restaurant here in Crema .

Classic Italien Pizzeria Ristorante. Large selection of wine and champagne. Good draft beer. Excellent service. I highly recommend the houses' signature dish: Spaghetti Al Vesuvio Baked in the oven under a hood of pizza dough. The hood will then be placed under the spaghetti right at your table. See picture. But be advised that you need to be really hungry to kill that dish. It's a rather large one. The Pizza Gamberetti is very delicious as well.

Trattoria al Balurdù is a charming and welcoming restaurant with a perfect location on the street, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is attentive and kind, providing top-notch service. The food is prepared with quality ingredients, including homemade pasta cooked to perfection. Guests can enjoy generous portions of dishes such as roast rabbit with potatoes and well-seasoned braised meat. The menu also features specialties like tortelli cremaschi that are highly praised by visitors.
I absolutely recommend this restaurant! The entire experience was fantastic. The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind, the handmade pasta was out of this world, and I am definitely planning to return whenever I'm back in Crema. If you're looking for an authentic Italian experience, this is the place for you. Thank you and "...Later!"

I’m a local- when your tap wine is better than the food you need to rethink visiting here. Sad all my food was dry and unflavored… from pasta to the days old roast rabbit.. and it wasn’t inexpensive at 26E for lunch where elsewhere w a small drive it 17E.. It’s hard to screw up food in Italy because all the fresh ingredients are in the field just steps away.. Please pull down grandma’s cook book and/or don’t offer menu of the day.

(Translated by Google) A bit too expensive for the portions, given the wording 'trattoria' (and not gourmet restaurant). Small plate of local salami (good), giardiniera (small and acceptable), sweet pumpkin ravioli (indicated generically as ravioli on the menu, I thought it was a sampling of various types) a glass of wine (poor), amaro, coffee. All for the sum of €50. The quality was acceptable (even if the ravioli were swimming in oil) but the price seems a bit high given the portions (poor). Also, the staff was very attentive and kind. Passable, 3 stars (but not more).. Peraltro personale molto attento e gentile. Passabile, 3 stelle (ma non di più)..

(Translated by Google) What a wonderful discovery! This trattoria is located in an area I'd describe as industrial. The contrast between the outside and inside is striking. As soon as you step inside, you're transported to another world. The staff was immediately welcoming and friendly (a welcome touch, given that service in many restaurants tends to be impersonal). The restaurant isn't particularly large, but it also offers outdoor seating, which unfortunately I didn't have the chance to try personally. The menu is simple and offers authentic yet refined cuisine; a good selection that saves you time reading and choosing from the endless options. We opted for two appetizers, two first courses, a dessert, two glasses of wine, and a bottle of water. The cured meats were top-quality (they melted in your mouth), the fried cheese was fantastic, and the tortelli cremaschi were truly a revelation: thinly rolled pasta, a strictly sweet filling as per tradition, and drizzled with butter. Both the classic and whole wheat versions were delicious (be brave!). I also appreciated the prices (around €15 for starters and between €9 and €13 for appetizers), the excellent wine (€6 a glass if memory serves), and all this in a relaxed atmosphere. The positive note, besides the food, was the service: the waiters were courteous but also knowledgeable, ready to offer suggestions and recommendations, and also available to answer our questions. The 1-liter water is now a distant memory, but here it was a pleasant surprise. The only downside to our experience was the temperature inside the restaurant: in this scorching August, a little air conditioning would have been appreciated. Highly recommended: try it and believe it! (Original) Che bella scoperta!

(Translated by Google) I ordered a piadina with olive oil to take home. My piadina arrived with less than 1% olive oil and was therefore completely burned. Horrible taste. I don't recommend this place. (Original) Ho ordinato a casa una piadina con olio d oliva. Mi è arrivata una piadina che olio di oliva non ne aveva 1% e pertanto anche tutta bruciata. Sapore orribile. Sconsiglio questo posto.
