I have enjoyed holidays in Puerto Pollensa for over 25 years and look forward to simply lying on the beach near Hotel Bahia, Passeig Vora Mar. However this year the beach was not good, in fact terrible. The sand was full of sharp bricks and many people suffered cuts and bruises, some quite badly. Why? We understand that the winter time clears the beach of sand and it has to be replaced but this years sand could have come out of a builders yard! And it is expensive to book beds and umbrellas. Will you please assure that next year (2020) the sand will be much better.

Platja del Port de Pollença is a picturesque beach located in the charming town of Port de Pollença. Stayed with family in August/Sep 24. This is a very nice hotel that seems to be very popular. Lots guests that I spoke to, have been visiting for many years and some book and stay more than once per year! I can see why as everything is well laid out, clean and with a good level of service. For a four star, I dont think you can do better than this. This hotel is perfect for a short break as unlike resorts, it is easy to understand how everything works and it is all within a few steps. If you like going to Majorca and would like a good hotel, this is probably the one for you. Staff were all very helpful and the other guests were also some of the most polite that I have come across in a hotel. I think it is just the vibe of the place!

Beautiful beach, clear blue water, fine sand, shallow beach suitable for young children and people who can not swim. It's gorgeous, but it's impossible to watch the sunset here.

I find it the best beach in Mallorca. It offers natural shade and it is not crowded. The sand and water are clean compared to other places.

Absolutely stunning part of Majorca ! Totally recommend 👌 its worth a walk along the beach to the Marina as behind is a few hidden quieter beaches ⛱️ Parking easy too before you hit the town

My favourite beach, with plenty to do. There's a great beach bar on there, banana boating, pedalos, volly ball. There's some special pedalos for people in whwelchairs as well. So much to do for all.
Jam J — Google review
The beach is stunning! It’s very long, which makes it feel spacious and never too crowded. There are plenty of sunbeds available, and the prices are really reasonable (about €14 for a half-day or €21 for a full day, including two beds and a parasol). I also loved how practical it is — there are public showers and restrooms, plus lots of shops and restaurants all along the beach. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy the day!
Victoria B — Google review
Oh...this is great. It is a beautiful place. Scenery is lovely. Great restaurants. Just a lovely place

Major busy beach (early September). Nice boutiques and shops in the area of the small sandy. Now, I am spoiled because I live near a quiet sandy bay on the west coast of Scotland far from the madding crowd. But here, there are crowds, so I am not at my best. There is plenty of parking on the side streets and you should be able to find a patch of sand. Not a chance of a parasol - everyone must hit the beach early with towels. The water is very warm and swimmable but there are rocks in places so you need to tread carefully at dark patches. If you just want to lie on a towel in the sun with occasional dips and visits to the plentiful restaurants and bars along the promenade, then this place is for you. Not my bag, but as I say, I’m biased.

Hiking Trails
Boquer Valley is a pristine and secluded spot that's perfect for snorkeling. The journey to the cove involves a 30-35 minute walk through fields, passing by wild goats along the way. The descent to the beach is steep and technical, so it's best to tackle this adventure early in the morning before the sun becomes too intense. Once at the cove, visitors can enjoy its beauty and tranquility, making it an ideal place for rest and recovery before heading back.
Pleasant walk best tackled early in the morning before the sun reaches the valley. The descent to the beach is steep and technical with tracks going off in dozens of directions. Not a problem if you enjoy and are used to walking. Not one for the less able or infirm. Small pleasant cove at the end for rest and recovery before returning.

(Translated by Google) Actually, the valley is just fields. And tourists walk along the canyon from this valley to the beach, where there is no access. You leave your car in the free parking lot and walk past the house on the mountain, through 2 unlocked gates along a well-trodden path to the sea. First up a little, then down along the rocks to the bay. On September 26 it was hot, 35 degrees in the sun. There is nowhere to hide in the shade. The journey took 50 minutes. Beautiful! We swam in the bay, sunbathed and went back. (Original) Вообще-то, долина - это сплошные поля. А туристы ходят по каньону от этой долины к пляжу, куда не под'ехать. Majorcan restaurant
Celler La Parra, a veteran tavern in Majorca, has been serving authentic Mallorcan cuisine since 1962. The restaurant is run by brothers Jaime and Alex and is located in a typical Mallorcan cellar where wine was traditionally made and sold. With wood-burning ovens and a warm, rustic atmosphere, the restaurant offers traditional wood-fired Mallorcan specialties using the freshest local produce.
We had a lovely traditional meal here. The suckling pig was so tender it just fell off the bone and the lamb was incredibly flavoursome. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and attentive. It's clearly a very popular restaurant with locals so I would definitely recommend booking if you can. Otherwise go early like we did and you might be lucky and get a table. The restaurant was recommended to us by a friend who is a regular. We will definitely return when we visit the island again.

Delicious! I am coming back to eat here! The baby squid, octopus, peppers, aubergine and the paella were all amazing! The staff were friendly and I really enjoyed my dinner.
Taehee K — Google review
We ordered the mixed paella and tumbet. The paella was really delicious with a good mix of meat, vegetables, shrimp, and mussels, all fresh with no bad smell. Portions were generous, and at €12 per person, the price was a bit below average. The tumbet was also tasty. The atmosphere inside was cozy, the staff were kind, and we also enjoyed the house wine.

Really good food and very reasonably priced. The lamb was so tender it literally fell off the bone. Suckling pig was amazing! Even the olives were some of the nicest we'd had. Bookings are pretty much essential, the booking process on their website was simple. Would have loved to have gone back for the paella but they were closed the next day for a well earned day off.

Very good local food with a nice atmosphere. Booking in advance is a must. The staff were super friendly and helpful, constantly checking if we were okay. The food was fresh, delicious, and very reasonably priced. If you want to try truly authentic local food, I definitely recommend this place.

One of the best restaurant experiences I've had...the food was simply amazing and served in very good time. The waiter/waitresses were very friendly and the place is just awesome inside. I would PAY DOUBLE to go again, extremely reasonable. Thank you Celler La Parra!

Hands down one of the best meals we had in Mallorca and also the best meal around Pollensa and Alcúdia. The portions are big and everything is so fresh unbelievable. The tapas/starters feel like each one of dish on their own. The staff is kind, booking in advance is required. Otherwise there might be a queue.

Restaurant
La Llonja is a traditional restaurant that reopened in January 2006 after a three-year hiatus. The restaurant offers a stylish decor and stunning views over Pollensa Bay and the harbor. The menu includes a variety of cold and hot starters, main courses featuring fresh fish from the grill, lobster calderette, mixed paella, and premium meat dishes.
Popped in for brunch with my family, although there is a restaurant, we were in the bar/cafe side of it. The food was really tasty, service staff were very attentive and friendly. We had the roast beef sandwich and the bacon, tomato and cheese baguette. We popped in for drinks a couple of nights later and the views across the harbour were so lovely. We wish we could have hung around for sunset, as it's such an idyllic spot.

We shared tuna tartare and grilled lobster…both were excellent. Service seemed a bit scarce at times, but when we struggled to split the lobster in half, our server was immediately there! We finished with the mousse, which was also good.

I've been coming to this restaurant for many years and Miguel and Ana are always such great hosts! This time I took my friend and she absolutely loved it too. We had a table with a vew out to sea and we did the menu of the week which is great value - €44 for a starter, main, pudding, half a bottle of wine each, water and a coffee! The beef samosas with the plumb dip and the prawn curry were delicious! As always thank you to Miguel, Ana and the rest of the team! ❤️

This is the best restaurant in Puerto Pollença!!! The food is delicious and the owners and staff are so friendly and professional. I love that many staff stay for years and they also train younger staff members. The menu of the day is such good value and the seafood is so fresh and beautifully prepared. If you haven’t been - put on some nice clothes and book for dinner!!! Sorry - no photos of the food as we just eat it and enjoy our meal too much.

Celebrated my 50th birthday at La Llonja in early May. First time I have visited the restaurant. Excellent food, very well executed service and with great views of the Port. I will be returning, soon.
Rob W — Google review
We dined at all Llonja back in August whilst on holiday. The food and wine were amazing but the service was slightly disappointing. We had to continually ask for more drinks and then the dessert menu. The restaurant however were accommodating with a member of our group with a severe nut allergy which can be a worrying when abroad. The main guy we dealt with at the end was good and attentive but the other waiting staff seemed to lack initiative at refilling drinks etc (they would have gotten a lot more money out of us if they had!). The restaurant didn’t have much of an atmosphere- it could have perhaps done with some live music or even just music in general. I wouldn’t not return to La Llonja as the food was lovely and would say it is one of the better spots to dine in Port de Pollensa.

Disappointed and Dismissed at La Llonja Restaurant On the 07/08/2025 my fiancé and I dined at La Llonja Very disappointing experience Quality of the food was poor, raw potato in my fiancés main dish - if you can’t cook a potato!!! The two main hosts on the night were arrogant and dismissive. The rest of the waiting were unfriendly and cold. I got the impression it may not be the nicest place to work. Overall experience was negative which is a pity

Abbaco Natural Food & Sushi is a charming and popular restaurant that offers a variety of rice dishes, vegetarian options, and Indian cuisine. They are known for their delicious and high-quality food, although some find it slightly expensive. The menu showcases a fusion of Mediterranean, South American, and Asian flavors, with an emphasis on fresh ingredients. Their sushi selection is particularly impressive, alongside other dishes like Peruvian ceviche and organic salads.
My friend John & myself were on a recent cycling holiday staying in Pollença, Mallorca. We discovered ABBACO one lunchtime & decided to book an evening meal there, the food was so good that we went back to the restaurant on our final night last Wednesday 16th April 2025. Again the food was excellent. It is a premium establishment & well worth the extra costs with a varied menu to suit all tastes. The staff we met CATI and JOSE were very professional & made us feel special. John & myself would recommend ABBACO, we have been coming to Pollença for the past 4 years on a training/social basis & ABBACO will definitely be added to our restaurant of choice.

This place looks stylish from the outside and being a raw fish lover I convinced our group for an evening meal there and it did not disappoint. There were cooked options also on the menu for those that didn't prefer the raw choices which were also perfectly presented so the group of 5 guys all enjoyed the food and of course some lovely wine to accompany. Good service also.
Andy P — Google review
From start to finish, Abbaco delivers perfection. The food is absolutely exquisite – fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. Every sushi roll feels like a work of art, and the natural ingredients really shine through. The service is warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly without being intrusive – you feel taken care of from the moment you walk in. And the view… simply breathtaking. Whether you’re there for a sunny lunch or a romantic evening, the setting elevates the whole dining experience. Abbaco isn’t just a restaurant – it’s a treat for the senses. Can’t wait to return! 🍣🌊✨

Stay Restaurant is a picturesque eatery located on the seashore of Puerto Pollensa, offering stunning views of the marina and surrounding mountains. Established in 1972, this restaurant boasts modern architectural design and serves high-quality Mediterranean, Mallorcan, and Spanish cuisine. With full-length windows providing water views, guests can enjoy artfully plated Mallorcan dishes and tapas while taking in the sea breeze from the alfresco terrace.

The best more ‘expensive’ dinner we have had during our 10 night stay in this area. The service is faultless and so efficient. Each and every server is polite and courteous. The food options are varied and each option we went for was delicious. Very fresh ingredients and presented fabulously. The atmosphere and ambiance in the outdoor seating area is superb. Would highly recommend. Would definitely be back.

A long favourite in PP but a disappointing experience this time. We had the set menu which included steak and it was unfortunately very poorly cooked and odd tasting. The starter soup was lovely and very tasty. The dessert was a kind of brownie which was really hard and again, felt a bit rushed. The value of the menu is good though considering you get a drink, coffee, post dinner drink and 3 courses so it's hard to knock. The setting is really nice as well. The older staff can be a bit grumpy at times but the younger staff were very friendly and helpful. I would have loved to give it 5 stars but it was such a poor steak.

We dined here for our wedding anniversary, and it was a memorable experience. They provided us with a table that had a stunning sea-side view, which set the perfect ambiance for the evening. The service was brilliant – attentive and friendly throughout. The food was great, well-prepared dishes. Prices were very reasonable, making it a great value for money restaurant. It does get crowded, and we had to wait for 40 minutes to get a table. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance to avoid the wait. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and we look forward to returning.

The stay is a wonderful restaurant with amazing food and service. We were seated quickly and served quickly as well. Although it's pricer than othe places, the food is so worth it. We were so excited to check this place out based on the amazing reviews & unique food! However, it slightly disappointed us overall as some of the food was not as tasty as we expected, my husband had a piece of black hair in his food, & the service was not super attentive to us. I overheard the table next to us, not impressed with the lamb shank either. I would come back to give them another try in the future though.
Olivia W — Google review
Amazo is a standout dining destination in Port de Pollença, delivering a refined yet approachable culinary experience in a stylish setting. With a prime location near the waterfront and a relaxed, modern atmosphere, it strikes an ideal balance between casual comfort and quality dining. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was warm and inviting. The open-concept kitchen is a unique and impressive feature, allowing guests to watch the sous chef at work—methodical, focused, and clearly passionate about each plate that leaves the pass. It adds a sense of transparency and craftsmanship to the experience that is both rare and appreciated. The menu is diverse and well-executed, offering something for every palate. The ribeye steak was flavorful, cooked with care, though slightly on the chewy side. The leg of lamb had a good flavor profile but leaned a bit dry. Surprisingly, the kids’ chicken nuggets and fries were exceptionally well-prepared—crispy, fresh, and clearly made with quality ingredients rather than the usual processed fare. The tacos—two different styles—were among the highlights of the meal: vibrant, bold, and layered with flavor. The kitchen’s creativity and attention to detail were also evident in the plating and dishware, with a variety of carefully chosen serving pieces that elevated the presentation. The meal ended on a high note with the French toast and ice cream dessert, which was nothing short of excellent—crispy on the outside, soft inside, and perfectly paired with cold, creamy ice cream. A memorable and satisfying finish. Service was attentive and professional throughout the meal, and pricing was reasonable given the quality and variety of food offered. In summary, Amazo is a thoughtfully run restaurant that blends creativity, skill, and atmosphere into an enjoyable dining experience. It’s well-suited for families, couples, or anyone looking for a memorable meal in Port de Pollença. We would gladly return.

A beautiful restaurant with excellent and friendly staff. The chefs are also very welcoming and they really deserve a Michelin star. Very very nice! Every dish is perfected! We only wished we could try all dishes on the menu since it was our last night! You have to try! Cocktails look awesome too. I wish there was non alcoholic Gin and Vodka cocktails since the ginger beer and special coke tasted awesome! I can imagine how the whiskeys and gins would really shine. Attention to every detail.

We have walked past this restaurant for many years and always said “We must try here.” Well we did last night and we were not disappointed. We went for the A la carte menu and not fixed menu of the day as we wanted the choice of the full menu. A lovely atmosphere and cool too on a hot night due to good air conditioning. Service was so attentive and loved their bar area. The food was beautifully presented and utterly delicious. We felt valued as customers and will mostly certainly return. Thank you for a lovely night.

Came in right when they opened. Honestly, I don’t understand the hype. Service was inattentive (was 1 of only 2 tables), and the food was disappointing. A local recommended this spot as having a “Michelin feel,” but it was nowhere close. For context—I usually keep my standards low so I’m never disappointed in life. That’s how underwhelming this was. I was genuinely looking forward to it, but at best this is a mid-tier restaurant that leans heavily on its ambiance to distract from the food. I ordered the Japanese steak (requested medium-rare, but it came completely rare), two glasses of flat Pinot, and the duck gyoza. None of it delivered for the price at all. Spent $200 USD only to puke it up.

This restaurant is a gem. All the food they served tasted vibrant and original. Unfortunately we could eat only two dishes because we had a heavy lunch but we will definitely be back for more. Their Amazonian tartar with tomato and avocado was a highlight for us.

DISASTER O Impossible to relax at our noisy table by the bar, where staff threw menus after use, making us jump. No welcome, and left waiting over 20 minutes. Finally had to ask for service. Secreto Pork was tough and grisly. Waitress knocked over glass bottle on our table..no apology. She later got our drinks order wrong and got angry with us when we told her. Again, no apology. As customers we were made to feel like a nuisance instead of a valued guest. This restaurant is overpriced and lacking in setvice.I would give it no stars if I could.
