It’s a beautiful place with a restaurant near by. Very relaxing. The Preserve itself is pretty small and sadly some parts were closed during my visit. Still I enjoyed myself a lot!

Beautiful place to walk, to spend some time with the family. We wanted to visit a local restaurant but the food didn't look very attractive, there were no other restaurants around. The shore is not very clean, but some people were swimming anyway.

It's a nice little walk. Entrance is hard to find, but once you get in it's pretty straightforward. Follow the path around the preserve and you'll end up where you started in about 10-15 minutes. There's a place to lock up your bikes at the entrance.

The Ader Tower built in 1917 by Bernardo Ader to commemorate Argentina's independence is a true architectural gem. Twin to the Torre de los Ingleses in Retiro, both in an eclectic Palladian style, it differs on the outside in some features from its twin and on the inside it sports a beatifull staircase which brings you to the top terrace where you have an excellent view of all the sourrounding areas.

You must be prepared to climb the number of steps it has, but the climb is beautiful since you can observe every detail and how the city looks. When you reach the end from the top you can see all of San Isidro and Vicente Lopez. Beautiful experience for air with the family. They also hold small concerts since the acoustics are great. Don't miss out on visiting it. (Original) Excelente Torre para visitar, fácil de llegar. Beautiful views, which can be reached by climbing a super comfortable staircase with landings and short steps, on whose walls there are vintage and old photos of the area. beautiful architecture. Where there is a cultural center, library and historical archive, and concerts on Saturdays. I want to highlight Luciana, who welcomed us very kindly and gave us information about the tour. She also told us information about the Tower, its founder, and answered our questions about photos and views with equal willingness. Super recommended. (Original) Hermosa y muy bien cuidada Torre. (Translated by Google) A beautiful view can be seen from the observation deck at the top of this tower, from where you can see places as far away as the riverbank on days with better visibility or the May countryside, even on days with a bit of fog. But while the view and the photos you can take from up there are good, you shouldn't stay longer than 15 minutes to respect the privacy of the other residents in their homes and apartments. From the top of the tower, you can see into people's patios and balconies. You can also manage your time going up and down, as you have to climb stairs; there's no elevator. I also know that concerts are held at the tower, but I haven't had the chance to attend one yet. The tower is well maintained, and the attendant is friendly. I asked if the observation deck is accessible on rainy days (which I love), and she said no, mainly for safety reasons. It's a shame, since it must be beautiful up there (albeit windy) when it rains.

American restaurant
Kansas Al Río is a delightful American restaurant and bar located in Vicente López, Buenos Aires, where the atmosphere is as inviting as the generous portions served. Diners rave about the exceptional quality of their steaks, often hailed as some of the best in Argentina. The modern setting enhances your dining experience, making it perfect for both casual lunches and lively dinners with friends.
Quite expensive place, but when you get there, you certainly know why it costs more than some average place. Good hospitality, English-speaking person, veeery polite waiters – we enjoyed. The food wasn’t the best we tried in our lives, but it was decent. No complaints, we had a good time at Kansas.
Artem — Google review
We recently dined at Kansas al Rio, a bustling spot with a lively atmosphere and a business-casual vibe. The restaurant was packed, and the energy was palpable, but our experience was a mixed bag. Here’s the breakdown: **Arrival and Service:** We arrived for our 7 PM reservation and were promptly greeted by the hostess, who seated us at our table. Our waiter was attentive and quick to take our drink orders. However, the service, while decent, didn’t feel particularly exceptional—just what you’d expect for a busy restaurant. **Drinks:** We ordered a lemonade and a ginger ale. The lemonade was refreshing but disappointing in quantity—75% of the glass was ice, leaving very little actual lemonade. The ginger ale was a letdown; instead of ginger ale, we were served a bottle of tonic water. Not a great start. **Appetizers:** The Kansas rolls were a highlight! They were flavorful, well-prepared, and absolutely delicious. If only the rest of the meal had lived up to this standard. **Entrees:** I ordered the Filet Mignon, cooked medium, with a loaded baked potato. Unfortunately, the steak arrived overcooked—more medium-well than medium—and was butterflied, which felt like a culinary crime for a filet. The baked potato was lukewarm, and when I informed the waiter, he kindly replaced it. However, the replacement wasn’t much better; the potato was dry and hard, as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. My wife ordered the Mediterranean Salad, which was decent but nothing extraordinary. It was fresh and well-portioned, but it didn’t stand out in any memorable way. **Dessert:** The warm brownie served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was the star of the meal. Rich, gooey, and perfectly paired with the ice cream, it was a delightful way to end the evening. **Overall Experience:** Kansas al Rio has a lively atmosphere and a busy, energetic crowd. The service was adequate, and the staff seemed well-equipped to handle the volume of customers. However, the food was inconsistent—some hits (like the Kansas rolls and brownie) but also some significant misses (the overcooked steak and disappointing baked potato). For the prices, which are typical of U.S. dining, I expected a bit more consistency and attention to detail. While it’s a decent spot for a casual dinner, it didn’t quite hit the mark for a truly memorable dining experience.

Big plates, good enough prices. I like this for a quick but filling lunch. There is also a lot going on at night, and the bbq ribs do not disappoint. Good spot for friends dinner! It can get crowded and loud but that is expected for such a popular place. Overall good experience, plenty of food choices

Had the most amazing dinner at Kansas Vicente López in Argentina! 🇦🇷 Everyone and everything was phenomenal. I can’t even explain how amazing the steak was. Seriously, they say Argentina has the world’s best steak and they’re not lying…🥩 Service was top-notch too! My only complaint was they ran out of chips that go with the spinach dip and we wanted “espresso martinis”, even though they had all the equipment, five star bar, mixologist, since it was not on the menu they were not able to make it. But that’s okay. I highly recommend this place! Get the ribeye, cooked rare with mashed potatoes!
Angel R — Google review
The food is good, not fantastic, but you don't expect that from this restaurant! It's OK. My white wine was not cooled, so that was a disappointment.. The acoustics are very bad, very noicy place, but I suppose that's what many people like about the place!
Maria T — Google review
This place for sure is one of the best in the city. The attention since the entry and in each moment is a wonder. The menu has a lot options that I wanted to taste but unfortunately I could pick only one so I choosed the ribs because I had heard that Kansas has the best of them and the expectations were satisfied. The ribs were incredible, the meat was soft, the sauce perfect and the fries maybe were not the best, I'd say that was regular but you forgot that the fries are so normal at the moment you taste the ribs. Since the moment I left the place I'm thinking when I'm going to return.
Fabian ( — Google review
Kansas is always a good choice for a nice dinner. The menu is good and ample and the BBQ ribs are the best in town. Nevertheless, I feel they keep getting more and more expensive taking into consideration other restaurant prices. The rib eye is not so good, go for the ribs.

Great cocktails. I had the wild berries cocktail and it was very fresh. Also the baileys and cookies one was good They close late on Sunday’s so it was a great option for a late drink

Pretty good overall. Prices are what you would expect and service, at least for us, was really good. The only thing is we ordered a combo platter which should have included drinks, but ordered our drinks before we ordered the platter. For some reason she added the drinks as separate because we had ordered them before. If she had just done the bill after we had ordered everything it would have been fine, but ah well. An extra 2000 or so we paid. But food was super good and plentiful.
Lee R — Google review
It’s not 5 cause we waited for the waiters to come for like ages, with really few people at the tables. Plus, the burgers - that’s supposed to be their best dish - weren’t tasty at all. But god, that mac’n’cheese… we’re gonna get back for this, it’s worth it.

We went here with my family. The food was pretty good. Our waitress, Amparo, was exceptional! She is definitely an asset! I have been staying Vincente Lopez for a few months and wanted to try Johnny B Good. The service was great, really great which is always a surprise in Argentina. I had the flat bread beef. It was totally meh. The serving was massive but it had no flavor. No flavor of the beef nor the mushroom and no season I could detect. The bread was flat but had no flavor. I was going to get a burger as well but the flat bread was more than enough. I sat at the bar and the music was so loud I couldn't hear the bartender when he was yelling at me. If I had it to do again I would have gone to Kansas downstairs

service is poor and slow. we had to ask several times for sauces and the bill. Sauces arrived after we almost finished the dish and for the bill we eventually went to the counter. we came on an afternoon and most of the options on the menu card were not available anymore. would never come back here.

The place was crowded at noon. All tables outside were taken so you should arrive early if you want to enjoy the sun under the trees on a warm spring day. The menu has an appealing combination of flavors and has gluten free options for every course. The service was a little too slow. I am on crutches and wanted salad bar, so the waiter was kind enough to serve it for me. I asked for an egg to go with it on the side, and instead of a soft I was brought a fried and kind of too oily one, and a little overcooked which didn't really match the nice and fresh salads I was eating, but it had taken so long for them to remember to bring the extra egg I just had the yolk and enjoyed the good chardonnay and rosé and made a toss with with my friend for eternal patience and tolerance. The overall experience was slow... but good.

Wonderful food amateur service. The menu is very well designed. The kitchen is not up to the challenge. Dishes take too long. Can be improved so it is just a matter of organization and training. The best alternative un Vicente Lopez.
Teddy F — Google review
What a disappointment the service was! Can't complain about the food, which was great, but the rude server (a guy with a beard, I think his name was Martin) made our experience one we definitely don't want to repeat or wish anyone had. It's been years since I left a restaurant without tipping at all. From the bartender that out loud laughed about one of us ordering a Mimosa or Bellini for brunch and not knowing how to prepare it, to another waitress leaving the patio door open (was freezing outside) and us having to stand up four times to close it. Our waiter treated us disrespectfully, rolling his eyes and with come backs like "the dish has the amount of smoked salmon slices it's supposed to have". That's not an answer you give to a customer! Wish more people spoke up about the horrible service in this place so they make some changes!
