🌳 Very nice Park, ideal to take romantic pictures. 🌊 There is Allan river going thru the park: very beautiful and nice atmosphere. 🚪 The park has many entrances, so the newcomers could possibly get lost: therefore, better to share a clear localisation point if you wanna gather.

(Translated by Google) Discrete-looking building, with very sloping roof pitch. This, together with the bell tower located on the facade, gives it an appearance that points towards the sky in a marked way. We attended a choir performance, with Christmas carols, and the acoustics are excellent (and the choristers are very good!) (Original) Edificio di aspetto discreto, con le falda del tetto molto inclinate. Ciò, unitamente al campanile che si trova in facciata, conferisce un aspetto che punta verso il cielo in modo marcato. Like all temples it is very simple, but has a Soul and a presence which gives presence to this place and this city. It is the center of the magnificent Montbeliard Christmas market. Many events take place there, such as this year the light of Bethlehem that the Scouts and Guides of France brought to the temple from there for Christmas. Beautiful ceremony. Thanks to the Scouts!!! Hotel
Ibis Styles Montbéliard Centre Velotte is a modern and affordable hotel that features a bar, fitness center, and sauna. Guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast during their stay. The hotel's director emphasizes the resilience of the region and its positive impact on local employment and tourism. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained with attractive decor. The central location allows easy access to the city center and train station by foot. Additionally, there is an attached underground car park for convenience.
Our stay at Ibis Styles Montbeliard was fantastic! The breakfast was a highlight—delicious and diverse, with a great variety of options. What truly stood out was their thoughtful gesture on our departure day; they accommodated an early breakfast at 5:30 am, allowing us to enjoy a meal before our 6 am checkout, which was immensely appreciated. The room was clean, spacious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Additionally, the hotel’s convenient underground public parking (10 euros/day, quite ok), numerous nearby restaurants within walking distance, and the array of board games available for families made our stay even more enjoyable and convenient. Highly recommended!

Good Things: Room Quality: The room was nice and quiet, providing a comfortable and peaceful stay. Facilities: The facilities were adequate and met our needs. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was very good, with attention to detail. Breakfast: The breakfast was good, though I would have appreciated more British breakfast options like beans. Overall, I was well fed and quite happy. Location: The location is great, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Things to Improve: Parking Access: The parking was not the most convenient to access as it uses the public parking lot from the city. While the integration is good, having to extend the parking ticket every 24 hours was a bit complicated. Electric Vehicle Charging: Identifying the electric chargers in the parking lot was a bit challenging, though this might have been due to my own oversight. Do Not Disturb Sign: One day, despite placing the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, I returned to find the room had been accessed and some limited cleaning done. Additionally, the phone, which I had unplugged, was plugged back in. This was a bit unsettling.

Clean and comfortable hotel and the staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast is the one thing that could have been better. Hotel is located in the center of the old town, which is very quaint and walkable. And the Chateau Montbeliard is just a couple minutes walk away.

Downtown location makes it easy to walk to several restaurants. There's a Carrefour convenience store just around the corner. The breakfast is wonderful -- coffee machine, a box of oranges and a juicer for fresh squeezed orange juice. Good choice of cold cuts, cheese, fruit, cereal and a few hot breakfast choices. Rooms are clean and roomy. Only weird thing is the shower is open to the bathroom and has no shower curtain so water gets everywhere. There's a big squeegee to clean up the mess, but it's still weird
Kelly K — Google review
We received a very warm welcome when we first arrived and then, we were very happy to discover our large and clean rooms. Everything is well kept and I like the decoration. Now a word about breakfast: it was well organized knowing the current COVID situation and everything was made to keep the guests as safe as possible. Last thing: the pastries were delicious and the coffee was decent. Conclusion: I am not sure we will go back to Montbéliard, but if you decide to go there, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Thai restaurant
Experience the authentic tastes of Thailand at Chez Witt, a restaurant nestled in Montbeliard's oldest street. Indulge in delectable dishes such as fried rice and scallops with coconut milk. Unlike most establishments in Switzerland and France, this eatery stands out for its well-spiced Thai cuisine. We stumbled upon Chez Witt during a road trip and were pleasantly surprised by their willingness to accommodate our request for extra spiciness.
It is the best Thai restaurant in town. Good atmosphere and the foods are delicious. 5 stars from me.
Noon B — Google review
The first Thai we've had in a long time and it did not disappoint. I had mixed starters which included a lovely prawn 🍤 my husband had chicken satay. He had a green curry which he said was nicely spiced and I tried a different chicken dish also very subtly spiced. My husband had a mocktail which was so good he had a second. Great service and the chef is justly proud of his work.
Trisha K — Google review
I really love Thailand's food, especially green curry. When they served me their green curry, I don't think it's authentic. Maybe they already modified it with French tastes, but it's not my type anymore
Pipien S — Google review
We wandered in on a rainy Monday and were embraced by the scent of fine cuisine. The dishes we enjoyed were the most authentic I have experienced outside of Thailand. I had the Beef in Red Curry and my wife had the Vegetarian Pad Thai. The flavors in each dish were subtle but distinct. Ambience was simple and easy. Service was personal. Highly recommended.
Donald W — Google review
Difficult to get well-spiced thai in CH and FR; this was a welcome exception. We happened upon Chez Witt en route home from a roadtrip and were pleasantly surprised. My request for extra-spicy was actually heeded; tom yam was excellent and curry quite good, if totally devoid of vegetables (which are often rather lacking in French cuisine, to be fair). The amount of meat for the price was impressive. Service was very pleasant and cozy ambience.
Sabs — Google review
I've been looking for a long time before finding such a thai restaurant in France. Service can be bit "slow" but the quality of the food and the nice atmosphere are worth of it. It's a place to try in Montbéliard for sure!

Nestled in the heart of Montbéliard, Brasserie du Théâtre is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Renowned for its generous portions and exquisite dishes, this establishment caters especially to meat lovers with a menu that delights the palate. While many patrons rave about the delicious food and efficient service, some have noted that certain staff members could enhance their approachability. Based on the reviews we gave this restaurant a try and were expecting a nice dinner. The waitress seemed not to like her job too much as she seemed to have a hard time showing a friendly expression. A little friendliness would have gone a long way. We ordered a mixed grille plate which was plentiful. Some of the meat was very chewy and didn't seem to be A-rated meats. The other order was a moussaka. It tasted like nothing and I could not stomach more than to eat 1/3 of it. One table over a lady seemed to have the same problem with her moussaka as she didn't eat it either. I would have expected the waitress or owners (seemed a family business of father, mother, daughter and son) to come over to ask if all was okay, but that didn't happen. Nor did they respond to efforts to wave them down. Likely not of their doing, we found it annoying that there were so many flies around the tables and on our food. Even when I paid the bill, the owner did not even ask if we enjoyed the meal or if all had been okay.

We came to the restaurant on recommendation, but were pretty disappointed. Service ok, Ambiente good, food not as expected. The tartar was made in big pieces, never saw it like this, no warm bread for it. The main courses (meat) was chewy and everywhere salt was missing. The bread and the dessert were the best.
