This is a nice restaurant where I go once in a while with family or friends to enjoy a meal. Here are my opinions about that place: 1. Food is okay (not great but not bad either, hence the 3 stars) 2. The staff is friendly 3. Prices are okay 4. The surroundings of the restaurant are very nice, you can enjoy your meal with a pleasant view of the central square of Chauvigny 5. The restaurant has a nice decoration and is quite comfortable Bottom line: if you happen to be in Chauvigny or pass through it and feel hungry, this restaurant is a good place to stop.

Have had a cheaper and tastier meal. We ordered mussels and chips, mussels were amazing but chips were warm. Besides from that we enjoyed our lunch here, and they’re obviously not just pizzas. Check them out when in area, I’d recommend :)

Perfectly adequate and the pizza and draft beer were fine. There was not much choice at 8.30pm on a Monday in Chauvenay so I was grateful for a better than average pizza. Would readily go again.

We didn't expect much (since we check TripAdvisor and google), but this went far below our expectations. The pizzas went to the wrong table and eventually we got one cold pizza (from the other table back to the kitchen and eventually to our table) and the second pizza was made in a hurry with lack or care and quality. The pork meat on the pizza (lardons/chorizo) was raw because of the rush, without any notices from the staff.

Really good food large portions well very large. Fair pricing. Good respect full service. Severed with 15mins.

We sat down "at the wrong table" and the person working there told us off in French, even after telling her we didn't understand. We were brought to a different table at the terrace in the back, which has a nice view so that was fine. The other waiter was nice but it took very long to see him, especially after receiving our food. It ended up taking so long we left without getting the desert that belonged to my child's menu (and we did pay for the full menu). They seemed understaffed for a busy afternoon, which was unfortunate. Food was fine and there's a restroom with changing table for babies.

We have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions and this time had friends with us who were visiting the area. The waitresses were organised and friendly. We ordered, in French, and all was fine until some woman (thin, black hat, tattoos) came out, past our table and started muttering about 'les anglais'. I didn't quite hear what she was saying but the intent was clearly not friendly. It appeared she knew the owner/waitresses and we even thought she might have been part of the establishment. She later left, walked past us again and muttered again about 'les anglais' and 'angleterre', within earshot of the waitress, before saying goodbye to who, we assume, was the manager/owner. Unfortunately I couldn't hear the full sentence but it was clearly a disparaging remark by her manner and the fact she said it twice to our table. We had been perfect guests, undemanding and friendly and ordering/speaking to the waitresses in French, so if she is part of this business it is disgusting that she speaks about her customers in this way. Likewise if she is known to the management and is allowed to behave like this to their customers, unchallenged, she is damaging not only their reputation but their business as we will not be visiting again and will discourage others from doing so. A great shame for what, for us, has always been a very welcoming part of France.

Lunchtime Menu du Jour was excellent. Good location, overlooking châteaux and countryside; in that sense it is a 'tourist trap' but we found a friendly welcome and an excellent meal for a reasonable price.
