There is a wide variety of establishments where you can enjoy delicious meals, purchase souvenirs, savor refreshing drinks, and shop for stylish clothing. Additionally, there are great venues for dancing and listening to live music, making it an inviting and enjoyable destination overall.

We love Pier Park. Convenient parking nearby. So much to do and see while walking around. It's a perfect place to catch a beautiful sunset. Plenty of dining options and stores for shopping. They have some great dessert shops the kids will love.

It was off season when we reached this place for just stop over . Only a few shops were open and we meet a few people . It looks great when we visit during summer time to do a many activities.. Over all it was great walk experience. The information provided by agents working at information centre ( tour) was useful for future travel . TKs agent for information and taking our family photo

Pier Park is a great place for the kids and adults alike. We love it because it is across for our super condo at Calypso Beach Resort. There are no closer condos than Calypso Towers condos. Our unit is East -201. It’s the nicest condo down at Calypso. We can run over to Pier Park in two minutes and you never need a car. The Beach is terrific. That Calypso and best of all you don’t even have to go to Pier Park. Just walk over in your swim wear.

There’s a little bit of everything for everyone. Love how close the shops are and walking distance most of they are too. Great outdoor seating options and the beach is right in front of you.

Perfect place to visit with all the shops and restaurants..👍👍
Fernando C — Google review
Very clean and neat, very walkable with a family. Restrooms are a little hard to find and far apart for the number of people hosted. Pier is built on concrete pillars so seemed more sturdy than on wooden ones. Fishermen we're polite when we went to the end, allowing us and our kids to catch the views without crowding. Local PD and staff security was very visible, likely because they had had two shootings in two weeks at that location. But their presence was comforting. We never felt unsafe. Parking was predictably crowded but available. Traffic patterns in and out were congested but navigable.

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Shipwreck Island Waterpark in Panama City Beach is a tropical-style park filled with over 20 slides and attractions, making it a water lover's paradise. Visitors can enjoy the Great Shipwreck, Zoom Flume, and Skull Island among other highlights. The park also offers a lazy river, wave pool, and the Tree Top Drop for an exhilarating experience.
Me and husband to my daughter here for her Sweet Sixteen birthday. And let me say the rides are fantastic alot of surprise on the ride. But overall we enjoyed it as a family. They do have bars and eatery fir adults that was a big plus! Highly recommend for a relaxing day with the family.
Demetria T — Google review
Prices are a bit high (admission & food). Certain rules they enforce and others they don’t (no shirt or shoes on rides). The environment was nice. The rides were fun. The lifeguards were in water and interacted during rides with jokes. Overall had a good day.
James S — Google review
I was nervous to go back to Shipwreck as I went ten years ago and usually childhood memories disappoint, but we had a great time! The food was expensive, but typical theme park fare. The staff was excellent, and it was super clean. We will be back!
Casie G — Google review
We got free tickets for family Fest. I can't walk well, so I have a rolling walker. It was easy to get into all areas of the park. I was afraid we would not find chairs, but they were plentiful. We enjoyed the wave pool, people watching, the Polynesian dancers, and people watching. Highly recommended!
Barbara H — Google review
The water was shut off for a 9 mile stretch and 1/2 the park was shut down. The price is high. It was $254 for 4 people to get in.
Kaydee H — Google review
We’ve gone the last couple weekends and ended up buying season passes. The water is great, it hasn’t been packed, and everyone is very friendly. Check their website site for deals!
Carly F — Google review
We came on a great day. Not too busy, and the facility was clean. All the young people working were very helpful and nice. Thank you for a gun day.
Felicia P — Google review
Good energy from the start. The slides, lazy river, and wave pool bring that perfect mix of thrill and chill. Great spot for families or anybody just trying to escape the heat and laugh a little. Staff stayed cool under pressure even when it got crowded, which says a lot. The only reason it’s not a full 5 is the food prices and limited shaded areas but overall, it’s a fun, memory-filled spot that delivers every summer vibe you’re looking for. Nature & Parks
Gulf World Marine Park is a popular destination in Panama City Beach, offering interactive experiences with marine mammals such as dolphins, sea lions, and manatees. The park features entertaining shows with bottlenose dolphins, rough toothed dolphins, and sea lions, as well as opportunities to watch the feeding of stingrays, sharks, and turtles. Visitors can also enjoy educational chats and shows about various marine animals like otters and alligators.
We really enjoyed our time at Gulf World. Many really cool animals and neat experiences. Only negatives I would say is, it’s a little confusing finding your way to each spot and making it to each show/presentation of the animal exhibits. We enjoyed the birds, Petting stingrays, the penguin and sea turtle experience, but the dolphin show was definitely the best!
Travis M — Google review
This was a fun place, the animals are rescued although they said some of the dolphins were born there which is disturbing as that is not rescuing, but they seem to have the animals life in the best of hands. I mean if you seek animal entertainment they can't all be rescued... all in all a good place I hope.
Lara H — Google review
Wow I highly recommend checking out the dolphin show it was pretty amazing, my husband and daughter did the dolphin experience and it was the best thing they did. The trainers were wonderful and the photographer also. Just to add when we first arrived I had lower expectation’s as the front reception didn’t seem the nicest and the outside section looked a little run down but don’t let the deter you the dolphin area was splendid and worth the visit
Eedah S — Google review
My family and I came to do the dolphin encounter and it was amazing! All of the staff were so great and very helpful. After our encounter we spent several hours walking around the park. The exhibits were really neat. We also watched the dolphin show which was very entertaining.

PCB FALL BREAK 2024 Had an amazing time spent about 3hrs here checking everything out with beautiful birds and funny curious Penguins to an awesome seal show to a giant turtle then go inside and you get to pet/feed the stingrays after that it was too the awesome dolphins show it lasted about 30mins or so one of the best things we did here will definitely be back. If you go you won’t regret. I give the food about a 2 It was high and not all that great other than that it was amazing. P.S purchase tickets in advance it’s cheaper.
Michael S — Google review
We were very excited to go here! My son was granted this for his make a wish wish. So they made the arrangements and all we had to do was show up. The lady working at the register was super helpful and helped us sign up an additional kid that camp on our trip. The park itself however is a little trashed and crowded. The seal exhibit was down so we didn’t get to see that. All the staff was super helpful though. The dolphin encounter was what we looked forward to for months. When we went to the waiting area, the staff very rudely told me I had to take out my hair clip and nose ring. So I put my hair in a ponytail and attempted to take my nose ring out. After 10 minutes of no success, I told the lady checking people in I couldn’t get it out. She told me that I probably couldn’t go because the dolphins would be distracted. And also reminded me several times that there were no refunds. I was able to get a pocket tool and cut my nose ring out (it’s the kind where you have to have two pairs of pliers), so I was able to go. Directions to where we were going/doing was not very clear. They also make you leave your purse and stuff on bleachers while you’re in the water (I would suggest them having lockers or something). After that, the dolphin encounter was amazing. The trainers, photographers, dolphins, they have it down! It was a blast! And digital pictures are included in the package. Anyone with body jewelry, they really mean ALL jewelry. Make sure to prepare to have to take it out or cut it out.
Jenah C — Google review
This place is great if you want to book an animal encounter otherwise not worth the price for just general admission. The website wasn't clear that general admission was INCLUDED in the dolphin encounter so l ended up buying general admission also, that was non refundable. They need to make a change to the wording online. Also the email I received stated that there would be photos "for purchase" after the dolphin encounter yet they were actually included. The dolphin encounter was amazing and such a once in a lifetime experience. The photos didn't turn out that great though. A lot of the photos I received were very over exposed the camera settings need to be changed to correct this issue. There weren’t any areas to change after the dolphin encounter, so I had to change my clothes in a dirty bathroom stall. The rest of gulf world outside of the dolphins was pretty small. The enclosures were also super small for the animals.
Gabrielle B — Google review
Our experience at Gulf World’s Dolphin Swim Adventure was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely safe and welcome. The trainers gave clear instructions and took the time to answer all our questions, which helped ease any nerves we had. The highlight, of course, was swimming with the dolphins. We got to touch, play, and even ride on a dolphin — it was truly magical. The dolphins were gentle, well-cared for, and seemed to love interacting with us. It was obvious that the trainers have a deep bond with them and take excellent care of the animals. Everything was well-organized and ran smoothly, and the professional photos taken during the experience were beautiful keepsakes. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Panama City Beach!

Specialty Museums
Ripley's Believe It or Not! is a renowned museum chain that showcases bizarre and unusual artifacts from around the world. The Odditorium at this museum features shrunken human heads, rare animal skeletons, the world's tallest man, a 19th-century vampire killing kit, and artifacts from the Titanic. Visitors can also enjoy interactive exhibits such as a laser course, a challenging mirror maze, and hands-on activities like making wax hands.
A great experience overall. A fun, interesting and educational time. The 7D moving theatre was fun. We chose the zombie option. The curiosities from around the world and various time periods were shocking, beautiful and wonderful. Bring your walking shoes and don't forget to check out the curling your tongue exhibit! Lol
Joven M — Google review
It was fun and something to do to get a break from the sun. The mirror maze can be done in 5-6 minutes, I wish the 7-D theater would have been longer. The host/photographer, with the cool glasses, I think his name was Malcolm or Mathew, he was great.
Ana B — Google review
Absolutely loved this place as a child and there are a lot of the exact alsame exhibits as well as plenty of new ones. It's a great way to burn a few hours and mingle until I'm able to check-in to my hotel room. The 7D theater was not at all fun and more of a comical experience than anything and the did not offer the selection of games that the website displays. Specifically the WareWolf experience.
Michael R — Google review
Lots of fun visiting this Ripley's location. There are 3 attractions there, but we only did the oddity museum. Spent over an hour walking around. There are interactive bits that were fun. Also has a kids area which was cool. The staff were very friendly. Marshall explained all the packages really well and was very nice. We are huge Ripley fans and would definitely go back if we visit PCB again.
Samantha H — Google review
Fun experience! Definitely a few fairly graphic things that I wish my kiddos didn’t see but I should have done more research into what all was featured here. Overall a good time. Marshall was a big help!

It was an awesome experience, very informative and alluring. There are so many amazing people, artists, wonderful places and artifacts to learn about here. We were amazed at some of the stories from the past lives of some people!

I loved it. My favorite were the pictures of the celebrities made from MMs, Jelly Beans, Computer Keys, Puzzles and Bullets.

Laser tag center
WonderWorks Panama City Beach is an indoor amusement park that offers over 100 hands-on science exhibits, laser tag, a ropes course, and a 6D motion ride. The attraction spans 35,000 square feet and aims to entertain and educate visitors. It features interactive exhibits covering topics such as extreme weather, light & sound experiences, natural disasters, outer space exploration, and more. The building's facade is designed to appear upside down, creating a unique photo opportunity for guests.
My kids and husband had the best time. My kids want to make this an every summer tradition. If you have vertigo close your eyes when entering the tunnel. I didn't get to go in so that was sad but the family had an amazing time so it was worth it
BoopyBunBun — Google review
We took our granddaughter to WonderWorks and had such a fun day! With standard admission, we spent over three hours exploring exhibits, playing games, and learning together. The interactive activities are perfect for kids (and adults too), and it’s a great way to combine fun with education. The only downside was the food options. For a learning-focused amusement park, it would be wonderful to see healthier snacks offered instead of just the usual nachos, pizza, and hot dogs. Having more balanced choices would make the experience even better for families spending several hours there. Because of this, I’d rate it a 4 out of 5 — still a fantastic family outing that I’d recommend, but with room to improve on the food side.
Stacey H — Google review
Great place to bring your kids and amazing staff. My father in law left his wallet and didn't notice until an hour later. We came back right before close and they let us in and the security lady walked right out and knew it was us and had his wallet. She couldn't have been happier to return it to us. She truly loves what she does. We tried giving her money but she refused and was just happy that we had a good time. Bring your family and friends as this place is great.
ACT S — Google review
Definitely a great place for your kids! Some rids require a different ticket which is ok and a certain height requirement for each ride. When you want to take a rain check from the beach activities it’s definitely worth going!
Dillon F — Google review
This is smaller than the Pigeon Forge location but packs a lot of fun in a small space. We loved their ropes course and the Grave Digger ride. I have one kid obsessed with space right now so that was our favorite section. Spent about three hours there with zero wait on any activities.
Heather S — Google review
Highly recommend this place for upper elementary/teenagers and up. We paid the listed price from their websites with no discounts. We arrived early on a Saturday, but still had to wait 20-30min to get in as there was only 1 cashier at the time. Once in, there are only 2 rides that are not included in the general admission. Laser tag, Sky walk, half a doEb educational video games/rides, 3-D roller-coaster rides, etc are all included and you can unlimited times. We were told that we have in-and-out privilege for the day! There is a small Cafe inside with limited food selection at reasonable price. Took us 2 solid hours to go through the place.
Dan C — Google review
I had such a great time here! We purchased our tickets online and the line to enter didn’t take long. There were so many different exhibits and interactive experiences. The bubble exhibit was a lot of fun, but I wish there was a smaller capacity let in at a time so the experience doesn’t feel rushed. Overall I would say this is a must visit if you love museums and science. If you want to participate in some of the add on experiences make sure to bring close toed shoes!
Tori T — Google review
My kids and I have such a great time here. We didnt even realize we were in there over 3 hrs. Many fun things to do and things to learn. Was worth getting the extras, gyrobumper cars was my favorite

Seafood restaurant
Saltwater Grill is a charming dining spot in Panama City Beach, featuring a stunning 25,000-gallon tropical saltwater aquarium. The restaurant offers fresh seafood from the Gulf and also provides gluten-free options for its patrons. Guests can enjoy their meals while seated at the bar in front of the aquarium, sipping on delightful cocktails like the Key Lime Pie Martini.
I went today for their brunch with 3 of my girls. One of my friends had never been to saltwater grill before and the others had only been for dinner service, they all left blown away and wanting to come back with their families!!! The food was not only aesthetically appealing the flavors were exquisite! We had the Tropical Avocado Toast, Saltwater Smash Burger, Friend Green Tomato BLT and the “Bennie” each dish was cooked to perfection and they were great portions!!! Highly impressed with the delivery of each dish! The service was stellar!! Erin our server and Alex the bartender were so attentive and engaging not only with us but with all their guests! What a great touch to have the Manager Mandy and Chef Steven both come out to the table!!! I have to say the atmosphere felt like you were in paradise… love the new patio look and the saltwater tank speaks for itself… breathtaking! Definitely our new brunch spot! Compliments to the Chef and the staff!

We came here for Sunday brunch at Saltwater Grill and it was such a treat! 🥂 The atmosphere is beautiful — the whitewashed walls, blue accents, and lush flowers made the outdoor area feel like we were transported straight to Greece. 🇬🇷✨ Live music set the perfect mood while we enjoyed our mimosas. 🎶 We started with a fresh Caesar salad and a Greek yogurt parfait with berries — both light and delicious. For mains, I had the shrimp & grits (so flavorful with the perfect kick!) while my hubby loved the Saltwater Bennie, which came with perfectly cooked eggs and tasty crab cake and potatoes. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. The whole experience felt relaxing and elevated at the same time. Can’t wait to come back soon to try their dinner menu! 🌊🍴
Eva D — Google review
The restaurant offered a well-rounded and refined menu, which explained the high volume of guests despite the 15-minute interval reservations. The staff were professional, well-staffed, and provided clear explanations and attentive service throughout. The lobster dish was excellent, and the steak was also very good. The scallop dish and linguine, though the seafood portions were small, were still enjoyable. However, the shrimp and grits were incredibly salty to the point of being inedible. When we informed the server, we were told that it might be due to the spices used. While we couldn’t ask them to taste it themselves, the dish honestly seemed to require a salinity test.
이미숙 — Google review
Everything was incredibly delicious! The sushi was fresh and full of flavor, and the lobster with meat was juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection. We truly enjoyed every bite! The restaurant has such a cozy and unique atmosphere, especially with the beautiful aquarium that adds a special touch. Our server, Erin, was amazing — so sweet, attentive, and thoughtful. She checked on us regularly, made sure we had everything we needed, and gave great recommendations. Her attention to detail really made our evening special. Highly recommend this place💗
Viktoriia P — Google review
First visit. The fish tank wall is interesting. As for food, it was ok. The lobster egg rolls were good. Lobster bisque a little better than good. Husband thought the shrimp with grit cake was very good as he was sweating while eating it. A bit hot for his tastes. I ordered poorly with the salad add on shrimp. $30 for a sad Greek salad with 4 over cooked shrimp is insulting. The reason for three stars is that all the shrimp was well over cooked. Tough. A seafood restaurant should get this right out of everything. I wouldn’t return for anything that we ate.
Kathy P — Google review
Decent depending on what you order but it wasn’t great. It is very expensive for very average food. The portions are good but it wasn’t very impressive. The atmosphere needs a little updating. Fish tank is cool but it looked very dirty and the fish were tiny compared to the size of the tank. A little cleaning and added color - it could be very nice. The place was full on the night we went and the wait was about 45 minutes which isn’t so bad at the beach. I just wish the food was a little better. If you are going to drop this kind of money on a meal - just head to The Grand Marlin near Captain Andersons. Much better food and atmosphere for the money.
FinnMedia P — Google review
Saltwater Grill was such a fun find in Panama City! The outdoor ambience was perfect — cozy seating, string lights, and fire pits that made the evening feel relaxed and inviting. It’s the kind of place where you can linger, enjoy the night air, and just soak in the atmosphere. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — from entrées to dessert. They had a great variety of choices, and it was clear that attention was paid to both taste and presentation. Pairing that with their cocktail selection made it an all-around great dining experience. The combination of excellent food and cool outdoor vibes makes Saltwater Grill a must-visit when in Panama City. Perfect for a night out with friends, family, or even a casual date night.

What a delightful experience and meal at Saltwater Grill! We made a reservation for our family the day before and were promptly seated upon arrival. The atmosphere was slightly upscale without being stuffy. (Not pictured) were our appetizers of prime rib potstickers and calamari.. both very tasty! Our meals were excellent! From the pasta to the steak and lobster.. excellent quality and truly delicious! Definitely recommend ending your meal with the crème brûlée!

Nestled in Panama City, Firefly is a charming and award-winning dining spot known for its romantic ambiance and creative menu. The restaurant offers a unique experience with dining under a lit-up oak tree, creating an enchanting atmosphere. The jumbo lump crab cakes are a standout dish, featuring premium blue crab meat and a signature blend of seasoning that promises to delight your taste buds.
Went here for our second time. If you are looking for a romantic, nicer dining experience definitely go here. We went for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. I got the filet (super tender and flavorful) and my wife had the salmon dish (very good the rice with this dish is amazing). We shared the Parmesan risotto with our main dish. I love the risotto here! We both had Caesar salad (which is amazing here). We also got the crème brûlée dessert. Highly recommend everything we ordered. While waiting for our table you have access to the bar, I highly recommend the old fashioned. It was one of the best old fashioned I’ve ever had.

Brandy made our dining experience at Firefly absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we sat down, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. Her knowledge of the menu and recommendations were spot-on, and every detail of our service was perfect. She made us feel like valued guests, not just customers. Brandy’s friendly personality and genuine care turned a great meal into an exceptional night. If you’re visiting Firefly, ask for Brandy, she’s truly the best!

Made reservations for our 15 year wedding anniversary. Even mentioned to the server when she came to the table. Nothing was done to celebrate our special day-as in a dessert with the writing on a plate-as I have seen in other photos. To be honest for the price of each of our meals-it was just ok.

We had an amazing date night on vacation. The service team is amazing and the atmosphere felt like a European style restaurant which is hard to find in the US creating the slow calm dining experience. Definitely a must visit for us next time we are here on vacation.

Great spot in Panama City if you want a fine dining feel without the crazy price tag. The food was decent (about what you’d expect for fine dining), but the service was excellent. We tried the snails, and our server Gretchen was AMAZING and made sure we were okay with it—surprisingly, they were really good. The space is quiet and prices are reasonable. Only downside is I wish we could’ve sat under the tree in the middle, so call ahead if that’s the vibe you’re going for. Also would’ve loved some background music. Overall, I’d definitely come back next time I’m in town.

We did not order food but did order drinks. The drinks were amazing! The servers were very friendly and provided great service. The whole area is a vibe! Everything about Pineapple Willies was great! The staff is well trained and very friendly and efficient. From seating to knowledge about the menu, to making sure to check on anything you made need. The food comes out fast and is delicious and fresh. We ate here several times while on vacation and tried numerous dishes. Some of our favorites were the coconut shrimp, chef salad (that was large enough for a couple of meals) and the mahi sandwich. The french fries were fantastic and the Pineapple Willie drink was the BEST! There is plenty of seating inside and covered outside seating right on the beach with beautiful views! We will be back and probably several times!

Some places are next to the beach, this place has a dining area that's on a pier that is ON the beach. A GREAT casual dining area with excellent food and service. Andrea was our server and she was exceptional. You can spend a little or you can spend a lot. The grilled shrimp were perfectly seasoned and the fried shrimp were very lightly battered. The fried seafood platter had more food than I could eat and had some of the best fried clam strips I've had in a long time. As a side note my wife said the Pina colada was quite tasty and they didn't skimp on the rum.

Food is great, albeit a little expensive. Had fried pickles and ribs for my meal. Zero proof drinks were reasonably priced, $12 for the extra large and you can keep the cup made it more than worth it. The ribs are world famous according to their menu and I enjoyed them a lot. The Jack Daniel's BBQ glaze was very tasty and the ribs were so tender. The fried pickles were also very good. Service was prompt and very friendly. It was my first time eating here after years of dismissing it as a simple tourist spot and while the good majority if their patrons are tourists, the food was more than worth the trip.

I went for the first time with my family of 6. We waited around 40 minutes when we got there around 5:40pm. We were seated on the pier and the view was beautiful. We ordered the nachos and my family liked them, they could’ve been more salted. We ordered our food and it came out within 10 minutes. The food quality was poor, it didn’t seem like a restaurant, more like fast food. I got the jambalaya and the chicken and sausage pieces were maybe 30% of the dish, and the rest was rice. I didn’t even try the garlic toast, but my brother tried it and it was bad. My dad got the ribs and they were pretty good. The alligator bites tasted like chicken. My brother got the mahi mahi basket and he said it was good. We went here because it has 15k reviews with an average of 4.5 rating but after coming here, I’m really confused as to why the rating is so high. Our server was nice but because of the food quality, we won’t be returning.

Great barefoot beach resort vacation vibe. Pineapple Willy's in Panama City makes great daiquiris, and delicious seafood. I very much enjoyed the mahi mahi BLT. With indoor and outdoor seating right on the sand, there is plenty of room for any size group. There's even a covered pier with seating over the beach. The staff are professional, fast and friendly. The ocean front view is amazing. If you love relaxing on the beach, you and your friends will have a lot fun at Pineapple Willy's.

Pineapple Willy’s is a great place to eat in the area. The food is good, the service is great, and the atmosphere makes it worth the wait. I had the seafood sampler, which was flavorful and satisfying. My kids went for the bucket of ribs, and they loved it. The island nachos are also a solid choice. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portions. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re nearby.

Bar & grill
Hook'd Pier Bar & Grill is a charming beach-themed bar and grill that offers outdoor seating with picturesque water views. It's renowned for its seafood-focused menu, making it a favorite among both locals and tourists in PCB. The restaurant's signature Sauce Sampler is highly recommended, featuring an array of seafood simmered in a flavorful broth and served with corn, hushpuppies, and toasted baguettes.
Such a cute little beach side restaurant! With quite a bit of outdoor seating, there are plenty of views to take in. I had their blackened chicken tacos, but I loved all of the combinations and choices you had on the menu. Their chicken tacos were delicious, and my friends that I was with couldn't say enough good things about their dishes too (grouper tacos and chicken alfredo). Their drink menu was also a hit, albeit kinda pricey for drinks, but everything was delicious!

Recently stayed in Panama City Beach & Hook’d was one of the higher rated seafood restaurants in the area. I’m happy that the solid reviews were correct. Atmosphere is great as you’re right on the beach & while service was a little slow, our waitress was kind. Food prices are probably a couple dollars higher than average but nothing crazy for being in a heavy tourist area. We had the fried grouper sandwich & blackened mahi sandwich. Both were prepared well, ingredients were fresh & flavorful. Also ordered some hush puppies for our daughter and while those were pretty dense, the flavor was still good. Overall, a good dinner & experience, would recommend if you’re in the area ✌🏻

Hook'd was pretty good as far as dining in a high traffic tourist area goes. I feel the fried shrip could have used a but more seasoning in the batter. I'm giving the service a three because I had to ask for ketchup three times. They eventually brought it to me me but not before I walked to another table to get it myself. Our server was really nice, and once our order was taken, the food came out quickly. Atmosphere wise, it's great! You can sit outside by the water or inside, and they have all kinds of torches burning for ambiance. I'd come back again.

The taste is delicious, the food is great but the service was quite lacking. I have no complaints about the atmosphere. It took them 20 minutes to even give me a menu and after I have ordered something, they took the menu away and gave me the bill without even asking if i needed a dessert or anything more. The servers here are the worst and felt like they owned the place

Loved this little place! Right on the beach with a gorgeous view. We had the fried alligator tacos and grilled Mahi Mahi tacos. All delicious and fresh. I cannot remember our servers name (pregnancy brain) but he has worked there for 11 years. Him and the rest of the team had amazing team work to get everyone in and out as efficiently as possible. All the staff was super nice and friendly. We will be going back on our next trip. :)

Last meal before a plane ride out of town. Ordered shrimp baskets & a crab cake. The crab cake was absolutely delightful & the sauce that came with it was heavenly. The shrimp was perfectly breaded and fried. The fries had a lovely light breading and well fried. We're good & crunchy even cold hours later. The only hiccup was some of the hush puppies were over fried & a bit too dark for our liking. Once showing our server she promptly went and got us new ones that were not over cooked. The hush puppies were very delicious. Will for sure be back on our next trip.

There's nothing like having a meal with a view of the beach. Hook'd does that and more! Though their menu was on the smaller side for being on a touristy street, I actually quite appreciate it. You can tell that Hook'd has been here for a while, and then deciding on keeping their menu relatively small means that they care about the quality of their food. You can definitely taste it too! My partner and I had the catch of the day. I had mine fried, he had his blackened. You couldn't go wrong with either way, because both were delicious. Mine was perfectly fried, salted, and with the added lemon and tartar sauce, it was great. I could also taste how fresh it was as well! Their fries were good too. My favorite part about this place is that dogs are allowed, so long as they are leashed and behaved. We don't get to bring our boy with us to many places, but I'm glad we got to bring him here. Our waiter even got him his own bowl of water, and our boy was definitely thankful. Lastly, the service was wonderful. We had the kindest waiter who was super friendly, conversational, and informative. I feel bad because I forgot his name, but he was definitely one of the best waiters we've ever encountered. You can't go wrong with this place!

We had friends come in from out of town and decided to stay on the beach. After walking the pier and browsing reviews, we decided to give Hook'd a shot. The entrance was a little confusing and cluttered - most people were trying to get in line for the pineapple drinks, and that caused some congestion for getting a table. Once we were seated our server was really friendly and helpful - because we had never ordered them before, we all got a mixed drink in a pineapple (heads up, the pineapple adds $7 to whatever drink you get) - I'm not sure what others ordered to get fruit added on top, but ours didn't really have extra fruit on it. Oh well, the mermaid water and the punch were really tasty - sweet, but a nice drink for a vacation afternoon. My husband and I ordered the inferno wings, and grouper sandwiches (one fried, one blackened) with fries. The fish and fries were great - fish was fresh and the fries seemed to be double fried and soft on the inside. Our friends got tacos, which they enjoyed as well. It was on the expensive side, but it was fresh, tasty, and the service was good - more than I expected in a very touristy spot! Would certainly go again for those wings and fish.

Restaurant
Sharky's Beachfront Restaurant is a casual eatery located on the beachside, offering a variety of seafood and margaritas. It stands out for its family-friendly atmosphere, featuring a pirate ship playground for kids and the largest open-air palapa in the U.S. for adults to enjoy festive cocktails. The restaurant also hosts live music events and offers beach volleyball nearby.
Food and drinks are both on point—everything we tried was delicious. The beach view is beautiful, and the playground is a great bonus if you’ve got kids with you. Service was a bit hit or miss, though. We came twice during our trip. The first time, our server wasn’t it—barely checked on us, wasn’t friendly, and spent more time chatting at the bar than bringing the napkins I asked for. But the second visit totally made up for it. Our server that day was awesome: super attentive, friendly, and kept the drinks and refills coming without us having to ask. Overall, definitely worth checking out. Just hope you catch them on a good service day. 👌

Great view of the beach. We came in early when they just open and have a little time to look around and enjoy the ocean views. The view is very chill very romantic with umbrellas and nice bar Although the food just mediocre to me. We orders a grouper dish, butter shrimp and Tuna salad. First off, these are smaller portion as I expected for the price of $30+ a dish. The grouper is little dried, butter shrimp dish is the best of all, very moist and crunchy, tuna was ok, we went with medium rare, It came out little more medium. Oysters are little smaller for $22 a dozen. We asked for baked oysters, too much cheese and take away the sweetness of the oyster. The host up front was very nice and helpful, so did our server!

I went to Sharky’s with family and the food was pretty good. I tried a steak which came back a bit more raw than I expected. When I asked if they can cook it a little more they brought out the same piece. Usually they fire a new one at most restaurants so it wasn’t a huge deal (it just wasn’t actually cooked anymore in my opinion). Everyone else’s meals looked amazing though and they said they were delicious. As for appetizers, the calamari was so good, as well as the smoked tuna dip. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. All in all, we would definitely eat here again when we’re back in town. I also recommend eating outside because it’s right off the beach and the views are beautiful!

Awesome vibes, just what you need after a day of activities and fun in the sun. The drinks were all very generous pour and the dishes were quite mouthwatering. Loved the different types of baked oysters. Also the raw oysters were a must try! Only gripe is the long waiting time , nearly a hour and the parking offsite

We are driving the coast in our rv and stopped at Sharky's as our Panama city beach experience. The restaurant is directly on the beach with a beautiful view. Our server Trey made this such an excellent experience. He was friendly and gave us perfect suggestions for both food and drink. He's the best server we've experienced in FL! The drinks we're generous and the food was cooked perfectly. An overall great experience.

After eating at Sharky's about three years ago, I posted a review of 3 stars, said the food was just OK and that the only redeeming factor was the Iceberg Lettuce Wedge Salad. We decided to give Sharky's another try on Saturday, 9/27/25. And, as a result, I'll maintain my rating of 3 stars (or maybe 2.5 at the most). After seeing a few posts that the Redfish Antigua was the supreme dish, I thought I'd give it a try. My wife and SIL were with me. My SIL ordered the smoked tuna dip. It was good, but not the best I've ever had. She ordered the wedge salad for her entree and it looked magnificent. My wife ordered the blackened grouper sandwich and she seemed to really enjoy it. I, on the other hand, was definitely not happy with the Redfish. While it was cooked perfectly, the blackening was literally bland. I had to ask for cocktail sauce just to give it some reasonable amount of flavor. The accompanying mashed potatoes were even less flavorful -- basically a bland mound of flavorless mush. I've had discount store instant potatoes that had a better consistency and flavor. I know that Sharky's is one of those beachy gathering places for vacationers, but I cannot believe the number of 5 star ratings I see on Google. The prices are way too high for mediocre food served in a crowded, very loud atmosphere. My recommendation -- go somewhere else unless you want to pay for beach side dining. Oh, one more thing, the early live music was garbage.

Group of 13, 5pm on a Saturday night. Initially told 50 minutes and then seated within 5. The entire rest of our evening was equally speedy and of high quality. Our first table was right in the sun, and before we'd even sat down, they offered to move us to a covered area. The views of the water are beautiful. Waters, appetizers, and meals came out quickly. There are two playgrounds. We decided to wait til after the meal to let the kids play, but even with as quickly as food came, we could have checked out the first one after ordering if desired. Everyone was very happy with our experience start to finish!

Sharky's is centrally located at the heart of Front Beach and provides a perfect view of the beach while you dine. Food quality has remained consistently great over the years but the thing that brings me back is the service. Personable, courteous, and prompt, I have never felt rushed anytime I've been here. Be sure to try the redfish Antigua, it's a real home run of a dish. Also, ASK FOR GREGORY! He was by far the best server we had the entire trip here and is amazing at his job
