Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery is a historic and picturesque estate in Washington state, known for its award-winning wines and scenic grounds. Established over 50 years ago, it has played a significant role in putting Washington wine on the national and global map. The winery offers tastings of a variety of wines, including Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Gris, as well as reds like Syrah and Grenache.
Chateau Ste. Michelle is such a beautiful winery to visit. The grounds are charming and make for a really enjoyable experience, especially if you’re looking for a fun outdoor activity on the weekend. While the winery itself isn’t huge, it has a cozy and welcoming feel that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your time. The wines are very good, and the setting makes them taste even better. It’s the kind of place where you can sip and take your time without feeling rushed. The atmosphere is definitely one of the highlights—calm, scenic, and perfect for spending a few hours with friends or family. The only downside is that seating can be a bit limited, so it may take a little effort to find a spot, especially on busy days. But overall, it’s a great stop if you’re in the area and want to enjoy good wine in a beautiful setting.

Had an AMAZING experience lunch here yesterday. Would highly recommend. Good was great and so was our host. I also saw goo goo dolls here and loved the venue. They were very organized getting people in and you could bring your own wine purchased onsite. No need a screw top…they have wine barrels with screws inside to help open your bottles. Food choices inside the concert were also great. Overall great venue to spend a couple of days.

I would like to guide you to this beautiful winery. Its been 25 years since I have been here. The fish ponds are empty and the peacocks are gone, however, more activity and people means change. There is a large concert area and a restaurant now...But... the charm remains. Picnic areas, shady tree covered chill out areas and community awaits you. Free to enter, free to park. You must try the wine, order a charcuterie board or put together your own from the little store. Worth the visit.

My absolute favorite outdoor concert venue in the Seattle area during the summer and cozy indoor wine tasting all year long. Amazing events + food, absolutely incredible wine and the best ambiance around!

My husband and I went in for their September Feature Flight and had a great experience. We enjoyed the wines and all of the knowledge that Emilie shared with us. Walking around the stunning grounds was an added bonus.

The Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville is a very large sprawling complex of buildings, open spaces and, the reason I went here, an outdoor concerts venue. I can't comment on the inside of the winery as I did not enter any buildings. The outdoor open space is beautiful and kept very well manicured. I went to the concert venue to see Blues Traveler, Spin Doctors and Gin Blossoms play in the middle of August on a day when it was sunny and 89 degrees. There are two entry gates to access the concert venue. The north entry opens right up to the side and front of the stage. The south entry is a few minutes walk to get to the seating area. I went to the north gate entry. For parking, you have to get there when they open the lots up to get good parking. Ideally, you want to park close to the north entry gate. There is ADA parking close to the north gate. Most of the parking spaces are in full sun, so bring a car sun screen for your front window. I got there when the lots opened, so I parked very close to the entry gate and in the shade of a tree. After walking a short distance through the grounds, I waited in a very sunny and hot line to go through security when the gates opened which was about an hour of waiting. There is also an ADA line. Most people brought their short lawn chairs and sat in a shady grassy area where the line would enter. Event security is very helpful and answered all my questions happily as this was my first trip to the winery. There are also many police and bomb squad personnel around the crowd and winery for your safety. Once inside the amphitheater, you pass by the merchandise table to buy concert merch while all sizes of t-shirts and other merch are available; waiting until the end of the concert gives you limited merch to choose from as much merch has been sold by then. My seat was near the back of the reserved seats and came with a high back folding seat already in place and with a great view of the stage. Those who brought low back short lawn chairs sat in the grassy area behind the reserved seats. The venue only seats 4500 people so it is a great small place to watch a concert. Sealed outside water bottles are permitted through security and there are water filling station to refill your bottle when empty. No outside alcohol is allowed. Inside the concert area you can purchase the winery's vintages from tables that also open the bottle for you and supply plastic cups. There are food options available at the back of the concert area with stalls selling BBQ (delicious!), Mexican food (got a small bone in my beef taco), cold ice cream among a few other types of food. The sound system at the concert is very good and powerful; you can actually feel the bass booming through your chest! The concert was absolutely incredible sounding with great views of the raised stage. The slope of the amphitheater is gentle not steep. Buy the reserved seats if you can afford them unless you want to bring a small blanket and picnic basket of food with you sitting in the lawn area. Outside food is permitted through security for your culinary enjoyment. The whole venue is in full sun and can be quite hot until the sun goes down behind the trees. Because the concert area is so relatively small, this place is a great way to enjoy a concert by some big name artists every Summer. I highly recommend coming to watch a concert here.

I went for the wine tasting with a couple of friends. You can make a reservation or walk in if they have available spots. We did the Take Away Flights for $30. The service is great and you get to choose 4 selections from the menu. Here’s my perspective on the different wines we tasted. P.S., I don’t have any professional education with reviewing wines so take it with a grain of salt. 2019 Muscat Canelli - tastes sweet but not as sweet as a dessert wine 2023 Le Rose - tastes dry and watery 2024 Midsummer White - tastes like apricot and beer; too much hoops 2019 Canoe Chardonnay - very nice light Chardonnay; Chardonnay is a drier wine 2018 Cinsaut - my friend said it’s is a good mix of sweet and sour and the other one hated it because she doesn’t like red wine

🍷 Perfect Evening at Chateau Ste. Michelle! 🎶 Visited Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery with friends and had the most beautiful experience! The winery grounds are gorgeous, and the atmosphere is so relaxing and elegant. We enjoyed a wonderful musical night under the stars—great live music, delicious wine, and amazing food. Everything was well organized and felt so special. It’s the perfect place for a memorable outing with friends, whether you’re into wine, nature, or just soaking in good vibes. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area. Looking forward to going back again soon! 🍇🍷

DeLille Cellars is a renowned boutique winery in Washington State, founded in 1992 by celebrated winemaker Chris Upchurch, Jay Soloff, and Charles and Greg Lill. The winery specializes in producing over 200 award-winning Bordeaux-style blends, with a focus on Red Mountain grapes from top Grand Cru vineyards.
My husband and I visited DeLille for the first time last weekend and loved it. We had a really great tasting experience, from the beautiful environment to the amazing wines and great service from Lauren. The wine portfolio is diverse and offers something for everyone, and the tasting room is actually a three-floor building with each floor having its own super cool vibe. Club members are treated to their own floor on the top, which is a nice touch! We had eaten at the DeLille restaurant the evening before and had a great meal and service there as well. When visiting Woodinville, I highly recommend putting DeLille on your itinerary!

Lauren guided us through the wine flight tasting and provided exceptional service! Ended up shipping 6 bottles back home to California because the wine was that good! The food menu is also very expansive and the pear flatbread was outstanding and so flavorful. I definitely recommend booking a wine tasting on the gorgeous grounds and we will be back if ever in the area again in the future!

This restaurant had absolutely amazing food!! The brussel sprouts were the best I've ever had. The steak was excellent, great seasoning and flavor. The veggies were cooked perfectly. The staff was polite and professional. They took great care of us and made our time feel special. We had excellent wine with dinner and got excellent recommendations from the staff. We took a ride share home to be safe. We left very happy and feeling taken care of. We will return.

We had an amazing Tour and Food Pairing experience at DeLille Cellars. It was our first time visiting a winery lab and discovering the science behind winemaking. The food and wine pairings were outstanding! While many wineries typically offer cookies or cheese for pairings, DeLille goes above and beyond with exceptional food. I’d love to return to their restaurant just for the food alone.
Chun H — Google review
We did a multiple winery tour and DeLille was the best by far! Our entire positive experience was due to Hunter, who truly made our tasting fun and one of a kind. He took the time to get to know us, ensured we were having a good time and brought wine that fit exactly what we asked for. Highly recommend DeLille not just for the good wine but also for the amazing staff! If you are lucky enough to have Hunter help you, you will have a fantastic time!

We were in the Woodinville area to do some wine tasting and Delille had good reviews. The place is big with there flights of stairs and floors with tasting space. It was a Monday and not crowded, but they walked us up to the 3rd floor for our tasting. There was a couch/chairs space and a low table. Our wine server came out pretty quickly to helps us with the tasting. The hostess started us off with a rose. We had 5 wines that were all okay. The GSM was the best of the bunch. Our server was pleasant enough, but very young and not super knowledgeable outside of the script they learn. It is a very nice and inviting space, and we are glad we gave it a try. They seemed to have some interesting food choices, but we didn't place any food orders.

We made reservations and were greeted at the door with bubbles. The wine tasting was a great start to a birthday weekend. We would definitely come back.

We took friends from out of town wine tasting at DeLille in Woodinville today. We had a great experience. The DeLille wines are always delicious. Our server, Kara, was absolutely terrific - knowledgeable about the wines, very personable and accommodating, and most of all fun. She really added to our enjoyment of the tasting. It was a nice way to spend an otherwise rainy afternoon. I would highly recommend DeLille for an excellent wine tasting experience.

Nestled in Woodinville, Washington, the Woodinville Whiskey Company is a renowned craft distillery that specializes in producing artisanal small-batch brown spirits. The company offers a variety of handcrafted liquors, including the five-year-old Woodinville Straight Bourbon and the Woodinville Straight 100% Rye Whiskey. Visitors can explore the contemporary building housing the distillery and indulge in tasting sessions at the modern tasting room.
Stopped by to try some of the whiskies and very glad we did. Many different flavours to try. At the end of our tasting, they finished us off with a surprise tasting of their maple syrup aged in whisky barrels, we ended up buying a bottle it was so good.
James F — Google review
Fabulous tasting experience at one of Washington’s best distilleries. Bourbon and Rye lead the way, and there are often some special releases available here to try and buy. We loved the products but we also loved the friendly helpful and passionate staff.
Rick H — Google review
Did the regular tour and really enjoyed it—super informative and just a good vibe all around. Loved that our guide, Jamie, actually works on the distilling side too, so you’re hearing everything straight from someone who’s hands-on with the process. You can tell they care about the craft. I didn’t do a bottle fill since I wasn’t able to bring one back with me, but if you ask nicely, they’ll usually let you try samples from the two barrels they’ve got out for their hand-fill station—very cool touch! Overall just a fun, nice tour with a knowledgeable and chill crew. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

For those interested in whiskey, booking a tour of this distillery can be a great experience. It includes tasting a variety of different whiskeys in a beautiful setting filled with a pleasant and inviting aroma, and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
Farshid E — Google review
Been drinking WWC since they first launched 4 year offerings and whiskey keeps getting better. About 30-40 minutes outside of Lake Union area of Seattle. Architectural interesting venue. As for the whiskey, do the $20 premium offering of 4 whiskeys, about 1 oz pours. Tried 8 year bourbon and rye, Ginja, Rye Port, CS bourbon and 12 yr Founders. You can add extra pours as long as you don't slur your speach, lol. Favorite was the 8 yr bourbon. Ginja was a bit odd, overly plum note. Founders was very Dickel forward but tempered by MGP I would say. Can't ship to NJ unfortunately from the distillery but online it comes from California via website. Only open to 7pm. Going strong even after being acquired by LVMH sports group.
James N — Google review
Amazing flavors and a patient knowledgeable staff made our visit a pleasure. The lineup of about a dozen whiskies offer something for everyone, from standard bourbon and rye to some fascinating barrel-finished options. The 8 Year Rye had some nice sweet notes with the rye bringing a peppery finish. I bought the Triple Barrell II (aged in charred oak, finished in Islay Scotch and sherry barrels) which carried a delicious peaty flavor from the Scotch in addition to the tasty bourbon base and sherry notes. Our hosts took the time to answer all my geeky questions and they knew the answers without needing to consult with anyone, even pronouncing "Islay" correctly. Bravo! Don't miss the great food and drinks at the adjacent Hollywood Tavern. Slainte!
TG M — Google review
Great place to taste some really good whiskey and bourbon. They usually have some distillery only options as well. Tasting fee is $10 I think but waived with the purchase of a bottle. The staff is professional, polite and well informed. I have had many conversations about the options offered with Marcus, so if you get him, enjoy the conversation. Parking is tight as they share the parking lot with Hollywood Tavern (also great!).
Chris S — Google review
I purchased this At-Home aging kit from Costco. I followed the directions to the T and I still couldn't get the barrel to seal and would leak. I could get water to stop leaking, but when I would fill with White Dog it leaked. I tried everything to include, emptying again, submerging in water for hours, and placing natural bees wax around the rim. I thought I got the leak to stop when I placed my barrel in my utility closet. After one month, I went to check the taste and noticed I had lost more than half of the yield and the barrel was light. I ended up just emptying the entire barrel and found out I had lost near 70% of the whisky. As you can see in the pictures, out of the 2 - 750ml bottles of barrel strength, I was only able to fill a quarter of ONE of the jars. This is entirely unacceptable for a $125 aging kit. I reached out to Woodinville and they said I could either stop by (not driving across the state) or they could send me a new kit. They have yet to send me anything. Don't waste your money. Update: Experience Manager Matt personally called me to apologize and is making things right. I believe customer service truly makes the product what it is. If you stand by your product, in this case whisky, then your customer service should mirror how good it is, and this is what they did. I will now make sure there's a Woodinville bottle in my cabinet at all times. Kodus and Cheers!

Nestled in the serene countryside, JM Cellars is a charming family-owned winery that has been delighting wine enthusiasts since 1998. Located in Woodinville and Maltby, Washington, their flagship site at Bramble Bump offers an enchanting experience amidst a lush 7-acre forested estate.
The venue offers a perfect blend of classic sophistication and modern amenities, making it an ideal setting for a memorable celebration. The venue itself is breathtaking, with beautifully landscaped grounds, picturesque views, and versatile indoor and outdoor spaces that can accommodate both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. The ambiance was perfect, creating an unforgettable atmosphere that our guests are still raving about.

JM Cellars is one of those places that instantly makes you feel at home. It’s beautifully designed with thoughtful details, but still feels relaxed and welcoming. As a wedding photographer, I can't recommend the venue enough! Surrounded by nature, the space has a quiet charm that draws you in and makes you want to stay awhile. The team is kind, grounded, and truly passionate about what they do. It’s a super special gem!!!

The JM Cellars property is beautiful, with enough natural shade from the trees that you could sit outside even on a very warm day. The overall experience from making the reservation to the parking, to the wine tasting experience was excellent. My reservation was for 1.5 hours so I definitely didn't feel rushed; I got to enjoy my time and wander through the facility and the property while I was there. The wine was very good and I ended up purchasing a bottle of their Viognier.

We held our August 2024 wedding and JM Cellars and were so so happy with our experience. From the moment we stepped foot on the grounds we knew no other venue would compare. There is a reason why JM is one of the top venues in the area. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and has that quintessential PNW vibe, upscale and effortlessly elegant while also feeling laid back. Despite the august weather taking a turn to rain and having to host our event indoors, which was not what we planned, the event was so lovely. EVERY SINGLE VENDOR. We contacted praised JM and said they were one of, if not their absolute favorite venues to work with. They have a great reputation in the greater seattle wedding industry, which made the planning process that much easier for us. Leslie was so great to work with as our venue coordinator. Obviously, wedding planning can be overwhelming and stressful, but every interaction we had with Leslie, from walkthroughs and even via email, put our worries at ease and made us feel like we were in good hands. With JMs strict policies regarding preferred vendors, she already had a great working relationship with our planner which made everything run so smooth. We would recommend this venue whole heartedly to any couple, and cannot thank the employees and owners of JM Cellars enough for hosting our wedding. Pro’s - Included furniture and decor: all of the furniture and decor we used comes included, and fits the style of the venue and the space perfectly. To rent the same quality furniture at another venue would cost thousands of dollars, which made it worth the cost and hassle - Strict rules/preferred vendor lists: at first we thought this was a con, but very quickly into the planning process we realized this was a MAJOR PLUS. JM is very particular about their vendors and provided small, preferred vendors lists for catering and planning services, with recommendations for other vendors. The vendors they recommend are top tier, and offer competitive pricing. It made the planning process run extremely smooth and streamlined because they know the venue so well. - The loft space is fantastic. The bridal suite and getting ready area is perfect for bride/bridesmaids. Our HMUA brought in extra lighting, but otherwise it was well equipped. The pool table room/groom/groomsmen hangout looked great in photos. The full kitchen and living space was great for our catered lunch and beverages. Such a comfortable getting ready space. Con’s - parking is a bit tricky, particularly for the bridal party and family before the event. JM has taken great measures to improve this for guests with included valet. This was truly the only “con” of the venue, but all of our guests emphasized it was a non issue!

Wonderful location and feels so cozy and comfortable. The staff was absolutely impeccable and knew everything about the wines. I have been to some tasting rooms where they say all wines are good that's why we have them here. To this place where they know exactly what the notes are like, can describe them and you can assess if that's your type or not and taste it! If you are in the wine business, learn it from these guys!

We got married at JM this past September and we were so happy with how everything turned out. Working with Sam was an absolute dream, we live in TX so planning a WA wedding was a little more challenging than a local endeavor, and she was so patient with all my questions and all the back and forth we had via email to make sure we were all on the same page. Thank you for not only hosting the party of our lives, but being so intentional and helpful with every little detail. If we could get married every year here, we would. HIGHLY recommend!

We are wedding planners based in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest and JM Cellars is one of our favorite venue partners! There are many reasons our team loves to work at JM: Their Events Team is made of hospitality professionals. They take the time to host couples in the space multiple times during the planning journey. They carefully review event plans to make sure no stone goes unturned logistically. And they steward the space so that it's clean, updated, and as promised for each and every wedding day. The space itself is pure Pacific Northwest. As PNW natives, we appreciate the feel of a backyard wedding in a space that is built for hosting weddings. JM marries the best of both worlds, feeling intime and cozy while also built to host large groups rain or shine. Every detail, from the number of tree varietals to the native landscaping, has been thoughtfully curated for decades to reflect the best of an elevated backyard wedding. The preferred vendor partners that JM has curated translate to a smooth and stress-free wedding day. Each vendor partner knows the space like the back of their hand because the Event Team takes the time to train and orient folks. Weddings are a fast-moving transformation of space and JM has set a standard for their partners to know the quirks and operate smoothly. We always know it's going to be a great day at work supporting our JM couples, which is why JM Cellars is one of our most frequently celebrated venues season after season!

Just WOW! Had such an amazing experience here. The grounds are so beautiful and the rainy January weather gave off the vibe of drinking wine in the middle of a forest. We celebrated a birthday and the staff had this cute birthday sign for our table (I made a note about the birthday when making the reservation). The staff was friendly, on point, always around when you needed them and refrained from interrupting if you were in the middle of the conversation. The wines were great and I love that they waive the tasting fee if you purchase a bottle. My group even got to meet one of the owners/wine maker, John. He was super sweet, down to earth and happily chatted with us. He was working in the front yard when I was taking a video of the grounds, and I just find it so sweet and endearing that he loves his place so much. You definitely need to make a reservation, but it’s totally worth the wait. I can’t wait to visit in the summer. I’ll definitely be back, and I’m going to try and find some friends to split the wine club membership!

Novelty Hill-Januik Winery is a unique destination in Woodinville, Washington, featuring two independent wineries under the direction of acclaimed winemaker Mike Januik. The tasting room stands out with its excellent culinary program led by Chef Jason Northern, offering an innovative menu using farm-fresh ingredients from local farmers and their own garden. Established in 2000, Novelty Hill produces limited quantities of award-winning wines through careful nurturing from vine to bottle.
We recently photographed a wedding at Januik and have nothing but great things to say about the experience. First off, the staff was top notch and VERY accommodating to the guests and family. The location was perfect for a wedding and flowed so nicely from terrace to terrace to indoors, and despite some rain, it all worked out beautifully. We hope to be back soon for more weddings, as it was also really fun to photograph. Oh and the food was insanely good. Way better than your typical wedding food. :) Highly recommended!

Our wedding at Novelty Hill & Januik Winery was breathtaking. Liz and her team were able to balance fun and whimsical, with modern and elegant, for the perfect day. We had the best of both worlds with interior spaces that had the warm and inviting charm of modern pacific northwest design and art (with views of the working winery!), and an outside that was a wildly lush fall garden party. The staff were absurdly kind--our guests mentioned many times how amazing everyone was, and as the brides we were so thankful for how cared for we were! The wine, of course, can’t be beat, and even though all our friends and family were fans before, they were all delighted to be drinking so well at a wedding! NHJ even had mulled wine for our guests which was one of the favorites of the evening! My wife and I loved every dish and our guests raved about the food, which showcased the PNW in a rich and gorgeous style. We are so lucky to have been able to have our wedding at Novelty HIll & Januik Winery, who turned our quirky dreams into a day filled with so much love. If you're looking for a venue that will blow you and your guests away, (all while keeping the playful charm of a good party going strong), then this is the place!

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Novelty Hill Januik Winery, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the lovely host and got in without a reservation althoughits recommended. Our server Victoria, whose warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. Now, let’s talk about the food! It was absolutely stellar. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and paired perfectly with the wine selections. The freshness of the ingredients was evident, and the flavors were exquisite. It was a true culinary delight! Victoria was not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. She took the time to ensure we had everything we needed and even shared some interesting stories about the winery and its offerings, making our visit even more memorable. Thank you!

Sleek, modern, and super spacious. The wines are consistently excellent, especially their Cabernet and Merlot. The patio is a great hangout spot during warm days — feels like a hidden escape in the city.

Went on a Tuesday afternoon at 1pm and the place was empty. It took the lady over 25 minutes just to ask us what we wanted to drink. Kitchen was closed but we STILL couldn’t bring in our own snacks, despite no mention of this anywhere. We had to use the same glass for our whites and reds, which all sucked anyways. Go to Delille and enjoy a better experience. Ok now that you’ve responded, let me reply back to you. There were 4 parties, 1 of which already had been served and the other which was leaving. We waited 25 minutes just to be brought menus…not to order, menus. The people who came 10 minutes after us got served immediately because they bought the overpriced crackers. Another table had also brought in outside food, but it was just a problem if our table did it. The server brought 4 small bottles for our wine tasting, didn’t tell us about a single one, and went back inside without saying a word and we didn’t see her for over 40 minutes. I would never purposely hate on any establishment. I have left fabulous reviews for many other places. Bad service deserves to be addressed.

We've always appreciated the warm reception we get here from a friendly and knowledgeable staff. It is a beautiful winery with comfortable indoor and outdoor tasting areas. Purple Cafe and Wine Bar is a trendy establishment set in a contemporary and relaxed environment, offering sophisticated small dishes and a selection of wines from around the world. This well-established eatery has been serving delectable meals that evoke the essence of wine country since 2001. Guests can savor indulgent yet rustic options such as pasta, chopped salad, baked brie, and calamari amid an ambiance adorned with brick walls, a timbered mezzanine, and extensive shelves displaying Washington wine.
We had a nice dinner on Monday evening here. The food was great. We enjoyed happy hour menu-and ordered 2 aperols each. Though they have a great selection of wines here. Some snacks were not clearly noted on menu what they were, but all tasted good. We shared four desserts, tiramisu was probably my favorite but all were delicious.

Comfort food at its best, a generous helping of chicken over a bed of creamy potatoes and carrots and then smother with a mushroom Marsala sauce. Delicious Mushroom Pappardelle 5/5 this was made with a kale pesto and was split between two people. It was so nice of the kitchen to split the plate and both parties loved it, especially one who usually doesn’t order pesto pasta absolutely loved it! Sweet Corn & Chanterelle Risotto 4/5 creamy and cheesy and hit the spot! Honestly the only reason I docked a star was it simply didn’t stand out as well as the other dishes but I would 100% recommend if you wanted a nice decadent risotto Chocolate Cheese Cake 5/5 & Tiramisu 5/5 Both desserts were amazing and I was very surprised how beautifully made the chocolate cheesecake was made, not at all cloying and beautifully balanced with the berry coulis. The tiramisu was exactly how a tiramisu is supposed to be soaked lady fingers incased in fluffy sweet cream and enough cocoa on top to stick to your teeth 🤣🤣 ok maybe not that bad, but it was a happy ending to a great night. Shout out to our server Mackenzie she did a wonderful job as did the gentleman who brought out our drinks and checked in on us through out out meal Will be back!

Do not skip the baked Brie! Brunch menu had a nice variety of foods, not just the usual egg-based brunch dishes or cheese plates that most wine bars do. Dog friendly on the patio

We hit this cool restaurant after doing a wine tasting and it was a perfect way to end the night with family. The inside was very nicely decorated and the service was great. The food was good - not excellent—but solidly good.

Amazing food and wonderful service! My husband and I visited for a casual date night and absolutely loved it. Kale pesto mushroom pasta was finger-licking good. Bianca, our server took good care of us and explained food and drinks menu patiently. Will definitely visit again!!!

Perfect Celebration Spot! We celebrated my daughter’s 30th birthday at Purple Café in Woodinville and it was absolutely perfect! They were wonderful in helping us arrange a dinner for 12, the service was outstanding, and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

Though the food was amazing and everything that was advertised. The service was severely lacking. Took over two hours to complete our meal. The waitress seemed to vanish for quite some time between even getting out first drink, to every subsequent order from apps, entries, and desert. Each time we would all see her passing us by without a single glance. Not even offering to refilling drinks besides the basic water. Leaving a lot of money on the table for a group of 5 people. Each already spending almost over $100 per person. Don’t sucks to say but I may be taking a break for awhile. Love the food but can’t imagine being treated the way our group did.

We order steak frite for two people. The fries were getting cold and the steak was barely warm. Didnt want to make a fuss because it was my wifes birthday. On the positive side the steak was seasoned nicely and the server was checking on us often. But she did set the tip to 18% in advance which should have been our choice.

American restaurant
Heritage Restaurant|Bar in Woodinville, WA is a warm and inviting family-friendly eatery that offers seasonal American meat and seafood dishes, complemented by a selection of local wines. The restaurant's menus are driven by the network of surrounding farms and growers, resulting in an array of delectable options such as steamed Hama Hama clams, roast chicken, cheddar black pepper biscuits, and mushroom gravy.
Catching up with friends over Brunch at Heritage. Pastries from Tart next door was lovely. We ordered Farmers plate, Huevos Rancheros, and a Benedict. Everything was cooked well. Wait staff was prompt and friendly. It's a very family friendly place for a weekend brunch.

Cocktails were tasty, food was pretty good but we felt like it was on the expensive side for what you get. Service was great and inside was nice and it looked like their outside patio was popular as well.

Heritage in Woodinville is a gem. The food and drinks were both outstanding. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Great atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommend.

Celebrated a friend's birthday here. It was our first time visits and we all really enjoyed the evening. We had made a reservation and the restaurant was packed. Our table was in a room off the main room. It was quieter -- which we appreciated -- with one other birthday party and a table of 3. Kyle was our attentive server and creator of the absinthe cocktail but my drinking friends (I was designated driver) chose the barbie cocktail. We started with the crab and corn hush puppies which were tasty and a good appetizer to share. I had the tomahawk pork chop which was excellent with plenty of vegetables. The birthday girl had the king salmon which was cooked perfectly and tasted excellent on a bed of flageolet ("flatulence") beans and mushrooms. Our other friend had the clams with chorizo which were spicy. Everyone enjoyed their food. We finished with the pie in a jar (?) which was undercooked but edible and an apple bread pudding with caramel which was pretty good. Our friend's dessert included a birthday candle which was brought, unprompted, by the restaurant and is appreciated. Very buzzy atmosphere, a decent menu and friendly staff made this an enjoyable evening and somewhere I'd happily return.

I came in just after lunchtime on a Friday afternoon. The happy hour menu is wonderful. I had the Heritage burger with French fries. The saffron aioli is great with the fries. The burger was dressed in a way that was delicious without having to add anything. The first bite is a flavor explosion of awesomeness. The menu items were all reasonably priced. One of the gems of Woodinville for sure.

Great restaurant! The service was quick, but not too quick. Each server and host was polite and welcoming. The atmosphere was busy, but not loud, and you could still talk. They have a beautiful inside and outside. The food was very good! My favorite was the salmon dip, then the risotto and sausage balls (red pepper gravy is bomb). The crab hushpuppies were pretty good. You tasted the crab, but pretty normal after that. The big surprise were the french fries. Homemade and the perfect amount of salt seasoning. So good! Drinks were creative and delicious.

One of the best restaurants I've been to in Washington. The wedge salad was insanely refreshing. Whatever they do to the bacon on the salad is amazing. I haven't stopped thinking about the crab hushpuppies. They are perfectly crispy ...and the whipped lemon dill butter is out of this world. The peach flatbread was a bit dry, but full of flavor. The steak was probably my least favorite thing. The veggie medley was not the best, and the flavor of the steak reminded me of chicken drumsticks glazed with BBQ. . nostalgic, but not in the best way. The steak was cooked well though! Overall, very excited to try more dishes.

I had the cheese burger with egg & bacon 🥓. We order the oysters, which were amazing. As an appetizer we also ordered the crabcake balls. A little too much filler. Other than that, everything was awesome! Definitely would head back. Son got steak, cooked perfectly.

Nestled in the Willows Lodge, Barking Frog is an upscale bistro offering Northwest cuisine and a wide selection of wines. The restaurant prides itself on its innovative seasonal menus and access to local produce from food artisans, foragers, and farmers. Executive Chef Dylan Herrick leads a talented team that presents dishes like diver scallops, Penn Cove mussels, Foie Cannoli, and confit duck. This makes it a must-visit for food enthusiasts seeking exceptional gastronomic experiences.
Henry high class dining, ambitious and delicious rotating menu, delectable Non-alcoholic beverages, friendly and knowledgeable staff and very classy and chill atmosphere. I cannot wait to return to the barking frog. It is great for a special occasion or for a stellar dining experience prior to a concert at the winery next door.

We’ve had a meal here a couple of times over the last few years, the recent June menu by the new chef is hands down on of our best meals ever. The service is great, the pairing of Japanese and Mexican flavours inspired. There was a surprise element in all of the dishes we ordered and the flavours worked together very well. Even though I was full, I couldn’t stop stealing bites from my partner’s pistachio gateau!

We chose this place to have my bday lunch here. Its a nice place with a cabin like feeling inside. They also offer outdoor seating. The food is very tasty and the staff is very helpful. Highly recommended is their Creme Brûlée, which made our experience so full filling. They offer a huge variety of wines and cocktails. They have good amount of parking spaces. Prior Reservations are recommended to avoid any kind of waiting.

From start to finish, everything about our visit was first-class. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without ever feeling rushed. The standout of the evening was the halibut — perfectly seared on the outside, moist and buttery inside, with a delicate balance of flavors that really showed off the chef’s skill. Every bite melted in my mouth. The seasonal accompaniments complemented it beautifully, adding just the right mix of texture and brightness. The Barking Frog continues to deliver one of the best fine-dining experiences in the Pacific Northwest — creative, consistent, and always memorable. I’ll absolutely be coming back, especially for that halibut!

Barking frog is my favorite Seattle area restaurant. It’s a great occasion spot. The food is out of this world and their sauces are to die for. I have not had a bad bite at this place. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Seattle area. The lamb shank was phenomenal! A very sizable portion and worth every penny!

Great ambiance, delicious food, and lovely outdoor seating with plenty of parking. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The dishes taste great, though they’re on the pricier side with smaller portions. Overall, a wonderful spot—I’ll definitely be back!

Met up with family here. Hasn't changed much in 25 years except for occasional cobwebs. Missing was the face of executive chef, Bobby Moore. We were greeted immediately when we walked in the door and asked if we had reservations. We did and were then seated near the kitchen service bar where we could see much of the food being prepared. The restaurant is very clean but I did notice frayed carpet at edges of concrete floor. Drinks were ordered quickly and the restaurant was starting to fill up. Drinks were served within minutes. After a couple of minutes, our orders were taken. Food arrived hot 5 minutes later. I had their Barking Frog breakfast. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the roasted potatoes were tasty with the roumalade. The two huckleberry pancakes were also cooked perfectly with both bacon and sausages. Pricing is slightly above market but the quality makes it worth it.

Barking Frog completely exceeded our expectations! We came in for a special dinner and chose the vegan tasting menu, and wow — every course was creative, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From the first bite to the last, the attention to detail was clear, and the flavors were anything but predictable. This was easily one of the best tasting menus we’ve had — vegan

The Herbfarm, located in Woodinville, Washington, is a AAA 5 Diamond destination farm-to-table restaurant offering fixed-price 9-course menus paired with local wines. The restaurant is attached to an inn and presents themed meals that are a production in themselves. The chintz-draped cottage exudes a charming ambiance and the food is on par with top restaurants globally.
I've been to chef tasting menus and Michelin star 1-3 restaurants all over the world. The herbfarm ranks as one of the best non Michelin places I've been AND it was better than some Michelin restaurants we've been to. It was such a special experience. From the time you come in to the very end. No detail was missed. We arrived early to hear discussions with the chefs about the fresh ingredients grown at the farm. We were greeted with some hot cider and seats by a fire. When being seated we were led to a table with individual personalized frame with our names on it. The table and entire room was beautifully decorated. We had printed out menu booklets explaining the menu and wine pairing. The chefs took some time to introduce all of the staff and also explain the courses and wines we had coming this evening. Last the food and the service was impeccable. Each course was incredible and seasoned to perfection. Not overly salted or too powerful. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. It was just a perfect experience. I can't wait to go back!

This isn't just fine dining, it's an entire experience, and one I highly recommend if you have the time. Before the meal even begins you are greeted with a glass of wine, hors d'oeuvres, and the chance to walk around and explore the grounds. This includes being able to chat with the sommelier who has curated the wine selections you can have paired with your multi course meal. The meal itself is out of this world. Each course is exquisite and presented beautifully along with an explanation from the chef. The menu changes with the seasons to offer only the freshest of local ingredients and is often themed to match. Our dinner was a showcase of an Oregon winery so we got to enjoy food that paired perfectly with each glass of wine. The staff is also amazing and makes sure that you have an unforgettable experience. This is definitely the place to go to celebrate a milestone birthday, anniversary, or other event.

I have been meaning to check out Herbfarm for a while now. Found the service and atmosphere really good but not sure if it merits 5 stars. However, at the end of the day, we are there to dine. For us, we feel they fell short given the high price point. The wine selection was great but it felt that the wine was the star of the show, not the food. The small plates were tasty but not mind blowing. But the portions were just too small for the price. I mean two tiny pieces of prime beef, a small prawn floating in the soup, and 4 tiny pieces of American guinea hog was all the meat we got. For the price, we expected more. For people who prefer wine over food, or perhaps prefer eating less, this place may be a great choice. But for us, there are similar places in the Seattle area that are cheaper, more portions, and delicious (Juanita, Altura, Ltd Edition Sushi).

We attended the Mycologist's Dream dinner in honor of my friend's birthday and it was everything we hoped for! The food was phenomenal, their service was spectacular, and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. Her farm was fantastic about all of our dietary issues and the modified dishes were just as amazing as the original versions. My friends loved the wine pairings and I couldn't have been happier with the alcohol-free drinks. Highly, highly recommend!

Best course meal experience I’ve had in the PNW and the first where I didn’t feel rushed to finish. They allocate 4 1/2 hours for dining which I appreciated highly. Premises are gorgeous, food was absolutely amazing, wine pairing was top notch and the staff were so welcoming, made us feel at home. We will be coming back in a future season, thanks for giving us an unforgettable experience. I encourage you to reserve a comunal table, it was so much fun!

The Hollywood Tavern, located in Woodinville since 1947, offers a unique blend of old-fashioned charm and modern flair. The tavern is housed in a refurbished 1940s roadhouse adjacent to the sleek industrial building that houses the Woodinville Whiskey distillery. Inside, guests can enjoy wood paneling and vintage hunting decor alongside an impressive whiskey selection.
Yesterday was my first time at Hollywood Tavern. I was looking for some fire spots close to brunch at with a girlfriend of mines since we will attending the lavender festival and the reviews from other customers is what sold me and I wanted to try it for myself. First off the place is in the heart of Woodinville and they gave a whiskey place next to it that I'm sure they partner with for some of their drinks. The young man that greeted me and stated us was super sweet. Tyler (I believe that was his name) was our waiter and he was super sweet. I love how he remembered our orders by memory and that's not really easy to do. I worked in the food industry for years so I give him kudos. I ordered the blackened salmon with half Caesar/kale along with the stuffed mushrooms and a gin and tonic. My friend ordered the same entree I highly recommend the fried pickles. It was a bit of a wait for our food but I was well worth it. Everything was amazing from the service to the food. I definitely will be back. Thank you so much 🌞

good selection of beer and cocktails. small but varied menu. Bar and table seating both fully indoor and outdoor. popular place but they have a big parking lot. service friendly but the order was wrong even after they confirmed the order with us. i guess patrons should physically check the to go bag but really, that’s on the establishment. food that was correct was good especially the Cajun wings. would return but mildly inconvenient this time.

Great outdoor and indoor seating. Dog friendly. Excellent food. We went during brunch and had a couple of extra items from the brunch menu, which included my chicken and waffle. Which was absolutely great. Bourbon maple syrup from the distillery next door and crispy and seasoned breaded chicken tenders were well prepared. One waffle, perfect size for your tenders and sweet syrup. Service was excellent and laid back atmosphere was great place to people watch and enjoy the great weather food and service. Will definitely go back to try new menu options.

The Hollywood Tavern is not your ordinary tavern—it’s a Woodinville treasure. Nestled in the heart of wine country, steps away from Woodinville Whiskey Co., world-class wine tasting rooms, and charming local shops, this tavern is the place to pause, refresh, and truly savor the moment. What makes it special is the atmosphere: cozy enough for families with kids (complete with crayons and a kid-friendly menu), yet stylish enough for a date night or a gathering with friends. I especially love sitting outside on sunny days, under wide umbrellas, with the breeze carrying the sound of laughter and clinking glasses. Their patio near the bar is my second favorite spot—you can still feel connected to the world outside while enjoying all the comforts of a tavern. 🍗 The Food Highlights • Fried Chicken – I don’t even like fried chicken usually, but theirs is irresistible. Perfectly seasoned, always crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and consistently delicious. • Beecher’s Mac & Cheese – Mac may seem simple, but it takes real technique. Hollywood Tavern has mastered it: creamy, soulful, comforting. It usually arrives baked just right, though on one visit it came out a little darker than usual. Chef—please note, your consistency has always been flawless, and that one time was the exception. I keep coming back because you’ve nailed it every other time! • Fried Pickles – These are my personal favorite. Crisp, tangy, and addictive—even my loved ones, who doesn’t like pickles, devours them here. • Wings – Golden, juicy, and paired with celery and ranch, these are tavern comfort food at its finest. • Sandwiches & Burgers – Flavorful, hearty, and always paired with fries that hit the spot. 🍹 The Drinks This tavern takes pride in craft cocktails that balance creativity and tradition. Whether you’re sipping champagne in the sun, enjoying a whiskey neat from across the street at Woodinville Whiskey, or indulging in a house cocktail, every drink feels crafted with intention. ⸻ ✨ Final Thoughts The Hollywood Tavern is a gathering place that feels like home—welcoming, consistent, and full of heart. Whether you’re here with kids, on a date, or stopping by after wine tasting, this is where you’ll want to land. Woodinville is full of attractions—whiskey, wine, artisan bites—but this tavern is the soul of it all. The kind of place where neighbors meet, visitors linger, and families feel free. Cozy, inviting, and unforgettable—Hollywood Tavern is where Woodinville’s heart beats.

We’ve been to Hollywood Tavern multiple times - it’s always busy so was pleasantly surprised it wasn’t busy on this visit. Maybe because it was a Monday?. Service was good on this visit but can be hit and miss in the past. Food was good but not a “Wow”. I love the atmosphere especially the fire pit outside. It’s a great place to meet up with friends.
