Horseshoe Bend, located just three miles from the center of Page, Arizona, is a must-see attraction. A short half-mile hike leads to an overlook where you can capture iconic photos of the Colorado River's unique bend. Consider taking a rafting trip on the river for an even closer experience. Sunset is the ideal time to visit, as it creates stunning photo opportunities with the sun setting behind the bend.
This place is really under rated. The view is absolutely stunning. Appx 15-20 minutes walk each way. Based on other reviews we visited the place when it was overcast. So we were able to get amazing pictures. We were told that when it is sunny, it's a little too bright. Definitely worth the $10 they charge per car to enter the park.
Annamalai M — Google review
A very scenic nature wonder with unique features. A paid parking lot is available near the spot. It requires a 10 min hike on a well delimited path. Make sure you get a bottle of water with you and take your time at the view points. Expect crowds, the location is very popular, even during a work day.
Ionut D — Google review
I'm giving it a 5 star only because of the spectacular view. Well maintained gravel walkway with some shaded seating areas. Maybe sort of ¾ mile walk one way. Just to park was expensive. $5.00 for motorcycle, $10.00 for car , I think $15 for RV .
Stacey M — Google review
This is an easy side visit in the Page, AZ hub of great sites to visit. It's a long gradual downgrade hike, about 1/2-3/4 mile hike to the overview. Of course that means it's an up hill climb on the return hike. There are 2 shaded rest spots along the trail. There a $10 entry fee and plenty of parking space. You can see from the many photos posted how great the view is.
Takeahike — Google review
Awesome site to see, pictures don't do it justice! The entire area around the viewpoint is a lot of fun with lots of scrambling opportunities! A lot of great viewing areas away from the tourist crowds at the main viewpoint. Highly recommend!

I’m speechless at the beauty of Horseshoe Bend. I was about to skip it on my way to Antelope Canyon, but since we arrived early, we decided to give it a chance, and it became one of the most incredible memories of our lives. Just be careful near the edges so you don’t fall! 😃
Matt R — Google review
What a stunning view! Be prepared for a decent amount of people, but there is still many areas to walk and explore and amazing spots to take photos from!
Bradley U — Google review
Third time visiting here today and really beautiful in the overcast weather. The outskirts of the bend were really green with all the rain.

Dams
Glen Canyon Dam, a 710-ft. concrete structure, created Lake Powell and is a popular spot for guided tours and photo opportunities. Located in Page, this town serves as a base camp for exploring iconic attractions like Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, and the Colorado River. Visitors can enjoy boat tours from the foot of the dam, drifting through Horseshoe Bend and anchoring at Petroglyph Beach before returning to Page via motorcoach.
wonderful place, from the list of "must see attraction". Pretty big parking place and very informative Visitors Center with interesting exposition explaining history of Canyon Glen Dam and that place in general. Comfortable restroom and amazing points of view to make great pictures
Boris S — Google review
What a wonderful example of American engineering! The Glen Canyon Dam, completed in 1963, stands proudly on the Colorado River. It’s an impressive sight and definitely worth a visit if you’re near Page, Arizona.
Murillo P — Google review
What a beautiful stops! Worth parking and walking around. They have some trails to go look by the canyon and dam and walk onto the bridge too! We got to see like 40 hot air balloons take off across the canyon too!!
Tina J — Google review
Visiting Glen Canyon Dam was an unforgettable experience. The contrast between the massive concrete structure and the vibrant blue waters of Lake Powell is simply breathtaking. The dam itself is an engineering marvel, towering high and holding back one of the most scenic reservoirs in the Southwest. One of the highlights is the Glen Canyon Bridge, which offers spectacular panoramic views of the dam and the deep canyon below. Standing on the bridge, you get a thrilling perspective of the sheer height and scale of the whole landscape. Whether you're into photography, engineering wonders, or just soaking in natural beauty, Glen Canyon Dam delivers. The combination of crystal-clear water, red canyon walls, and impressive architecture makes this a must-see stop near Page, Arizona.
Lim Y — Google review
Glen Canyon dam is an arch dam across the Colorado River. Lake Powell has been formed because of this dam. The dam, the 'rainbow bridge' parallel to it offer a great experience while visiting/planning activities around Lake Powell. There is hydro electric power house attached to the dam. Iconic Horseshoe Bend is a few miles downstream of this dam.
Sunny A — Google review
When you are in Page, AZ, make it another stop. The visitors center offers a variety of interactive tools to explain how dams work. The dam itself is a technological marvel that needs to be seen and understood. Great for kids to learn about how electricity gets generated. Then, the natural beauty of the surrounding area adds another level of marvel.
Artur C — Google review
Stopped while the Govt was shutdown so I couldn't go inside, but the views from around the back and on the bridge were stunning, from BOTH sides of the road, the bridge fencing has built in slots for taking pictures which was extremely helpful.
Chris S — Google review
Located on the Colorado River, this 710-foot arch concrete dam was completed in 1963 and created Lake Powell, which is the second largest reservoir in the USA and extending 186 miles long. This stunning dam serves many purposes including providing hydroelectric power generation, flood control, water allocation between the Upper and Lower Colorado River Basins and water storage. Some other key facts, the dam is 710 feet high and 1,560 feet wide and is a popular recreation destination attracting millions of visitors every year. One of the best views can be seen from the observation deck to the rear of the Carl Hayden Visitor Center, where there is plenty of free parking.

Scenic spot
Hiking area
The New Wave, also known as the Beehive Trail, is a stunning sandstone formation located near Page, Arizona. Unlike its more popular counterpart, The Wave at Coyote Buttes, no permit is required to visit this beautiful spot. The hike to the New Wave is relatively easy and short compared to other trails in the area. This makes it an accessible and enjoyable experience for visitors year-round. The area is home to various breathtaking rock formations that showcase the natural beauty of the Arizona desert.
Heavy gravel road to this parking spot. Once there, you can easily get stuck in sand if you have simple FWD car. But it is worth visiting and hiking up to the rocks and observe their formation. Words cannot describe the beauty of nature
Artem M — Google review
Great space. We haven’t been to the “real” wave for comparison, but this was a really fun spot. No signage for this spot but follow the google location and you’ll be fine. Free, no park ranger or gate and very few people so easy to take pics. A few trails marked by rocks. Just climb up to the spires and you’ll get great panoramas and close up of the sand erosion.
Jalal K — Google review
Free of charge. There is a roughly made path of rocks to follow around the entire location. Fairly easy walk if you watch your footing. Take some water on a warm day. It may take an hour to walk around. Pictures will change depending on the time of day.
Darren B — Google review
Easy short hike with amazing views. Trail path is lined with rocks for path markers. Highly recommend 4x4 if you want to drive thru the very sandy areas.
Angel E — Google review
Absolutely amazing, magic place. You can spend hours hiking there and still find something interesting! Hidden gem!
Katarzyna G — Google review
A not nearly as well-known place in this area. A nice hike and beautiful views. That's the fall. It's free! Highly recommend.
Christopher S — Google review
Similar rock formations as in The Wave, yet more accessible (no permit required, as of now). That being said, it requires some exploring to find nice spots. If you can get a permit, The Wave might be even more awe-inspiring.
Daniel S — Google review
This was such a fun short hike with my family- kids ages 9&11. Very scenic and few people around. It was a little difficult to find the starting point but as soon as you park look for a little sign (about 200 feet in front of the parking spot) with rocks as markers for the trail. If you didn't win the lottery for "the Wave" this is a great alternative. The rocks have lots of vibrant colors. We went in the morning 9:30-11 and it was perfect. Take some time to explore and pose for fun pictures. Very few people on this hike... we had a great time. We spent around and hour and half here. Doesn't matter what way you start it loops around. You also don't need a permit and there is no fee to park. We stopped at the observatory dam 2min away first and confirmed the entrance and directions. Also used the All Trails app to find exactly where to go. But there is a rock path that people have left for the best way. Didn't really follow it and did our own exploring on the the rocks and books. We had a great time and got some amazing pictures.

Barbecue restaurant
Big John's Texas BBQ is a laid-back barbecue spot with a nostalgic atmosphere, located in a renovated gas station. The restaurant exudes an old-school American vibe with its simple wooden tables and chairs, linoleum floors, and fluorescent lighting. Specializing in slow-smoked meats like brisket, pulled pork, sausage, ribs, and chicken, the menu offers various ways to enjoy them - from sandwiches to combo plates with sides like cornbread muffins and coleslaw.
Big John’s Texas BBQ is a fantastic place! The huge BBQ smokers out front already promised a great meal. We went early to beat the crowds, and after a short wait we were seated at one of the long tables. My wife and I shared the spare ribs (12 pieces) and they were absolutely delicious, while our kids enjoyed their nachos. Everything was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The live band added to the atmosphere and made the evening complete. A fun, cozy, and tasty experience — highly recommended!
Reinier C — Google review
The BBQ was absolutely delicious. We got the Sampler Platter, all the meats were delicious. The meats that came on the platter were, beef brisket, pulled pork, baby back ribs and sausage, all fantastic. I loved the beans and potato salad, but my Husband said the cole slaw was awful. Fantastic service and cute atmosphere, and clean .We will most definitely go back when we come back to Page!!
Cindy K — Google review
We had a great time here and really enjoyed the food, service and entertainment. Get here at a good time because it was a 20 minutes wait to sit inside but none to sit outside, until later then noticed the line for outside was to the sidewalk while we were eating. The food and service were excellent. We will most definitely come back here when we are in the area. I highly recommend this place.
Andy B — Google review
This was my first Texas BBQ experience . As soon as we parked, there was live music playing — it created such a great atmosphere. The weather was perfect, and it was very comfortable to sit outside. We had to wait a little for a table outside, but not for long. While waiting, we ordered some cocktails inside, enjoyed our drinks, and looked through the menu. The menu is not very big, but everyone can find something they like. The prices are on the higher side, but since we were traveling from another state, it’s possible that this place has more of a tourist pricing. The ribs were delicious, the beef was great as well, and the potato salad was a pleasant surprise. The only downside was that the menu didn’t specify how much the service charge would be, although it mentioned that any order over $100 would have one added. That lack of clarity felt like a small oversight from the restaurant. Overall, I recommend visiting this place for dinner and enjoying some fun and great food during your trip!
Daria K — Google review
Stopped by Big John’s Texas BBQ while on my Southwest trip because BBQ was a must and it did not disappoint. 🍖 Food: My wife and I split The Sampler (brisket, pulled pork, chicken, two ribs, and coleslaw since they were out of sausage). The pulled pork and ribs were the standouts — smoky, tender, and full of flavor, and the cinnamon ice cream for dessert was a surprisingly perfect finish. 👥 Service: Our server, Michael, was excellent: attentive, friendly, and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. 🎵 Aesthetic: The setup had a great BBQ joint vibe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, plus an outdoor stage area that looked ready for live bands, the kind of place that makes you want to stay a while and soak in the atmosphere.

What an incredible place. Location, food, service…all of them are fantastic. All the dishes proposed seems very tasty. In particular I take plate n.5 and n.7 (ribs and brisket). Outside there is a big grill..so, no word for the meat…just came and try. I concluded the meal with brownie and ice cream..delicious! It’s really true…don’t mess with Texas guys!!
Giovanni S — Google review
Down home BBQ place with inside and outside seating. The food was very good! I had a sampler plate that came out piping hot and quickly. My wife had a beer and ribs, all the food was very good. The service was professional and friendly. They had a three piece band that playing country music, loats of fun but not so loud that you could not have a conversation. All in all a very good place to eat and a great value after a day of hiking and driving. I would recommend it to everyone!
Jorge G — Google review
I love me some good BBQ. Big Johns made this a good visit. Friends recommended it and they were not wrong. They rub some great seasoning and smoke the meat tender. Their BBQ sauces are great additions to the meat. My wife and I shared their Full Rack Ribs, Brisket Nachos, and a medium side of Coleslaw. Everything was great. Food came out hot and fresh and fairly quick. Service was on point as they were checking in on our needs often. They didn't even complain when we hung out with friends for a bit. It was still slow and a lot of room, but as soon as the tour bus showed we made sure to make room. Thk you. As for the PQQ, Quality of the meat and sides was good and great flavors. This is a tourist town so I expect pricing to be higher, so Price to Quantity was reasonable. Those living in Page are used to it but visitors from our of town may feel it to be Pricey.

Visitor center
Gift shop
The Carl Hayden Visitor Center, a circular glass-enclosed observation building, is perched 110 feet above the Glen Canyon Dam. This modernistic structure was completed in 1963 to accommodate and educate tourists visiting Lake Powell. Inside, visitors can explore interpretive exhibits on area geology and history as well as an enlightening relief map.
Admission is free, so buy something in the gift shop if you want to support conservation & local Native Americans. The views from inside are fantastic with large glass windows overlooking the dam. There are a lot of exhibits and things to read on the inside, with ample air conditioning to escape the heat, and a small dinosaur footprint exhibit outside that you might not pay attention to, if you don't know it's there. They had a movie program starting but I did not have time to stay for it as I was just passing through. I would definitely stop here again, and allow more time to explore as the bridge right next door appears to allow foot traffic over the canyon.
My E — Google review
Great place to know about the dam, power plant and bridge. There is a movie theater in the premises where we can watch the documentary about the place. The entry is free and washrooms are good. Nice open space for parking.
Venugopal B — Google review
The center is located off U.S. Highway 89 on the north side, just after you cross the Glen Canyon Dam Bridge or on the west side of the Colorado River. Here you will find a large visitors’ center, a dinosaur track display, and to the rear, a large viewing area overlooking the dam itself. There is plenty of free parking including a large oversize vehicle parking lot on the west side of the center. The center itself is part of the Glen Canyon Dam complex and provides information about the dam and the surrounding area. Inside the center there are numerous exhibits, a theater with a short video about the dam and surrounding area, a gift shop, restrooms, and a large observation deck to the rear of the center. The center is the primary visitor center for Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and Rainbow Bridge National Monument and is part of the National Park Service (NPS).

This is worthy of stopping by... do not pass it up! Hands-on, informative, and surprisingly better than I expected. Dam, it was amazing! (The dad core joke was there, I had to go for it.) 😅 Seriously, worthy of checking out and it's free! Kids will like it too! (See me in the kid section)
Stacey S — Google review
Impressive place, landscape in the area is amazing, visitors center had a simple but informative display of the dam building, area maps, history and local heritage. Nice gift shop look for their clearance deals! Pretty busy place.
Steve L — Google review
In Page AZ we hiked Car Crash Canyon to the Colorado River. The trail begins at the dog pound. It was your own canvas over the rugged canyon. In it, around it, mapping your own trail!
Renee H — Google review
Small museum with gift shop, good views, free. No tours at this time (per staff, no tours since COVID). Expect about 1/2 to one hour. Great views of the dam. Also reasonably priced souvenirs and, as is important in roadtrips, bathrooms.
Adam C — Google review
Kids can enjoy from the junior ranger program, and fill an assignment book. The rangers are very kind and take the time for you to swear you in as junior ranger. The bridge and the dam can easily be viewed from the visitor center through a huge glass window providing excellent views.

Nestled conveniently off Highway 89, Sunset 89 is a delightful roadside eatery that captures the essence of Pacific Rim cuisine while offering stunning views of the Colorado River and its majestic sandstone cliffs. This charming restaurant specializes in an array of mouthwatering dishes, from island BBQ chicken to crispy pork belly and comforting chicken katsu. As you savor these delectable offerings, don’t miss out on their warm banana bread pudding for dessert—it's a true treat!
We thoroughly enjoyed the Classic Cheeseburger and the Loaded Kalbi Fries. The cactus mule was delicious! Service was excellent. We went when it was already dark and it was still worth it to us!
Noah K — Google review
Service was excellent, very friendly and our food came out hot and quickly. Atmosphere gets 5 stars because of the view. As per my waiter’s suggestion around sunset I took a walk around our back and got a great view. Prices are slightly high for steaks but there are lots of other options that are more reasonable to choose from. Although the steaks looked great. My husband’s short rib bowl was absolutely delicious. So many great flavors and the meat was very tender.
N Y — Google review
The restaurant is situated in a great location, conveniently close to Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon. Moving on to the food, the chicken we ordered was overcooked, chewy, and excessively salted (perhaps it wasn’t my day). The chicken dumplings and tofu stir-fry were passable. Overall, my experience with the food left me feeling that I had overpaid.
Ravi T — Google review
We went to Sunset 89 for dinner based on the reviews. The service was excellent and a very clean and inviting restaurant. We ordered two dishes. The Brussels sprouts was good and the Korean Kalbi was mediocre (overcooked for our liking). The prices are relatively expensive as well. Fyi - They add 18% tips to the bill automatically. We were fine with this given the good service but important to know that it's not optional.
Annamalai M — Google review
My wife and I stopped here for dinner as we were traveling through Arizona. It was one of the best meals we had the whole trip. We ordered the brussel sprout appetizer and it was amazing. I ordered the Island BBQ Chicken and it was delicious. My wife had the Ramen with a salad and was eating leftovers for days. Huge portions and everything was super flavorful. Try the Cactus Mule if you like prickly pear. Service was great and the scenery was beautiful.
EDWARD B — Google review
We arrived about an hour after it opened on a Monday, noon. We were waiting to be seated because there was a "Please wait to be seated" sign at the door. After a few minutes, a waiter came in from helping patrons outside and told us we could sit anywhere. After a few more minutes it became clear that he was the only waiter working. We also noticed that there was only one cook in the kitchen working. There were a few people eating when we arrived but not many. This is September, so there are a lot of tourists in the area. It felt like this establishment was not prepared for serving customers. The atmosphere is nice outside. There's a patch of grass behind the building overlooking a beautiful view. Inside its very plain. The Hawaiian/Asian theme of the food served is nearly the only influence in the location. There are 5 pictures that are island themed, some tiki carvings on the walls by the bathrooms, and some flowers and paddles above the fireplace inside. Otherwise it looks like an American restaurant that serves Hawaiian/Asian inspired food. The food was ok. Not the best I've had but not awful. I wouldn't have the desire to come here again, especially with the very slow service. Some would say "in northern Arizona, what do you expect?" The answer is I expect a restaurant that advertises they serve this style of food to put there heart and soul into it and not just sit on the fact that they are one of the only places in the area that serves this type of food. It's possible that they didn't have more waiters and cooks because they are struggling to make ends meet. Which isn't a surprise given the service, food, and lack of related atmosphere inside. I wish them the best but they need to improve service, food and the interior theme. Also, the food is too expensive for the quality. You aren't paying for atmosphere either. This is a tourist price gouge.

My favorite meal I had in Page! Craving something outside of the usual fast food, and this was great. Loved the Chicken Katsu, Brussel sprouts, mac salad, burger, service, everything!

Ranch House Grille is a classic American eatery that specializes in serving up traditional homestyle breakfast favorites and hearty southwestern comfort food. The restaurant offers generous portions of dishes like corned beef hash, country fried steak, and eggs while providing a friendly atmosphere where owners love to engage in local gossip with patrons.
AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE!!! Was in town for the weekend, tried out the place for breakfast on our first day, my wife and I were so impressed by the food and staff who very friendly by the way they treated us like we were family, very accommodating! We came back for lunch the following day and again great food and service, will definitely come back when we’re in town, highly recommended!!!

I had a wonderful experience at Ranch House! The fajitas and steak were both delicious — cooked perfectly and full of flavor. On top of that, the service was excellent. Chloe was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the meal even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Typical little breakfest spot. Food was good ,service was good. The downfall was the coffee was very weak tasted like water but some people like light coffee I prefer strong. LOTS of options on the menu. What I found odd was the shirts that the owner made" work like crazy to support the lazy" seemed trashy the slogan. Didnt seem very professional.

Food is on point.. Very delicious and looking forward on returning. Jose our server is very helpful and friendly. Kept checking on us. Very caring on his quest visiting. I would recommend this place.

Service was super fast. The waitress was attentive the whole time, checking in to make sure everything was OK, food was hot and fresh. Lighter portions available which was plenty enough. Quick, fast and really good service. Best breakfast in Page.
Theresa B — Google review
We really felt comfortable in this casual, home-cooking restaurant. The biscuits and gravy with egg on top gets rave reviews from us! We also enjoyed eggs, ham, hash browns and pancakes. The coffee gets a 4/5. The servers weren’t overly attentive, but kept our drinks filled and made us feel like old friends.
Kim V — Google review
Food was fine, but they automatically added an 18% tip even though we were just three people. I don’t mind tipping, but it shouldn’t be forced. Also, we got interrupted twice by people trying to sell jewelry while eating. Very distracting and not what I expect at a restaurant.

We noted the glowing reviews for the birdhouse - and it did not disappoint Located in the middle of page- its a old drive through that has been converted into a sitdown restaurant - there is parking but for a around 20 cars but these can be tight for very large SUV/ trucks. We ordered 3 pieces of chicken to try all the flavours original, honey mustard, and spicy chicken with a chicken burger along side a assortment of sides- chips, coleslaw & broccoli all coming to around 37 dollars. The chips were well seasoned and cooked well with a generous portion size and coleslaw was great 👍🏽 the broccoli however was pretty average The chicken was slimply incredible- the skin was crispy and thigh pieces tender - we loved the original and spicy pieces but all three were tasty. They give you a bottle of their ranch and honey mustard sauce with each order which was a nice touch All in all very good fried chicken- would come back again!

Stopped by BirdHouse in Page, AZ, one of the two main food stops I had planned for my trip and it absolutely blew my mind. 🍗 Food: I ordered the chicken sandwich with BirdHouse sauce, and it was easily one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had anywhere in the U.S. The chicken was crispy and juicy, the sauce tied everything together perfectly, and the mac and cheese on the side was decent and comforting. It’s the kind of meal that leaves you wishing this place was closer to home. 👥 Service: The service system was efficient, with staff bouncing around constantly cleaning and checking on tables. Everyone seemed friendly and on top of things, keeping the place running smoothly even during busy hours. 🎨 Aesthetic: BirdHouse has an awesome setup with both indoor and outdoor seating areas that feel open and relaxed. The mix of casual vibes and clean design makes it a great place to sit back and enjoy some seriously good food.

Absolutely delicious! Meat was cooked perfectly and juicy! Flavors were great! Mac and cheese was so good! Not that crappy kids mac! Breading was yummy. Well seasoned. Everyone devoured the special sauce and couldn’t get enough of it! I bet they would make bank selling the sauce! Would definitely recommend coming here! Can handle large groups too.

Stopped by BirdHouse in Page, AZ while visiting Antelope Canyon, and it was such a great find! The place is really well-run — they keep the menu simple but focus on quality food and quick service. We ordered the honey butter 3-piece tender and spicy chicken sandwich with fries, and it was fantastic. The chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy, and the signature sauce added the perfect touch. The staff, mostly young kids, were constantly cleaning, serving, and checking on everyone. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating.

One of the best fried chicken you’ll ever have! My family came here for lunch 2 days in a row. The leg and thighs are delicious. Crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. The servers were super friendly too!

I’ve had a lot of fried chicken since coming to the U.S., and this one was the best by far. Now I see why it has such a high rating. They have Original, Spicy, and Honey Butter flavors, and the Original is the best.

Birdhouse was so good! The chicken came out perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of spice to give it a kick without being overwhelming. The flavors were bold and addictive, and I kept wanting more. The place has a fun, casual vibe that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your food. Service was friendly and quick, which made the whole experience even better. If you love fried chicken that is crunchy, spicy, and packed with flavor, this is the place to go.

We got an eight-piece family meal. It came with 2 breasts, 2 wings, 2 drumsticks and 2 thighs, along with two sides - Mac n cheese and fries. We ordered an extra side Broccoli salad. The chicken was over-fried a bit but the flavor was good. There were a lot of fries. I was disappointed with broccoli salad and mac n cheese. They were not so fresh. The donut holes were ok, nothing special. It’s mostly self-serve after I placed my order at the counter. The price was a bit expensive. Overall, it’s not a place I would go back to.

State 48 Tavern is a rustic-chic hotspot offering inventive bar food and local craft beers, along with darts, TVs, and outdoor seating. The restaurant has a kind of upscale hole-in-the-wall vibe with a plant-filled patio and an epic tap list. It's conveniently located near attractions like Glen Canyon Dam, Antelope Canyon, and Lake Powell, making it the perfect place to stop for a bite after sightseeing or hiking.
We had a great experience at State 48! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had the mac & cheese with pulled pork – it was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Truly delicious! We also tried the ribeye steak with fries, and it was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. State 48 is definitely a great place to visit if you’re in Page. Highly recommended for both the food and the atmosphere!

I had the plain mac and cheese was good spicy though. My husband had cheesesteak he said was okay the chimmy sauce was alittle to much. The garlic bread was very tasty. Our waitress was so nice.

We came here for a quick drink and an appetizer. The visit was not quick because of the slow service, even when the restaurant was not busy. Once seated, it took a while before a server came to get our order. We had questions about the different draft beer options. The server offered us an opportunity to taste the ones we wanted for 25c. This is the first time we have paid for a tasting, which we found very weird. Once we made the decision, we had to sit on it because the server did not show up for a while after she had provided us with the samples to taste. I ordered a mango jalapeno margarita, which arrived and I got through around half of it before we got the lager we wanted. The lager was ok. The margarita was also ok with hardly any paprika on the rim. We ordered the three amigos salsa trio - sweet mango, spicy peach Serrano, cantina style to accompany the drinks. The salsas were off the charts. The cantina style was SPICY! The spicy peach Serrano was also spicy but more along the lines of hot and sweet. The sweet mango actually felt very nice after the other two salsas. If you love spicy food, we definitely recommend getting the salsas. Here is how bad the service was: we asked for water at least twice while we dealt with the hot salsas, and none arrived. My husband had to take the ice out of my margarita to calm his tongue down. We did consider staying on and ordering more food, but the slow service changed our minds. The pricing was ok. Ambiance is typical Mexican restaurant with low light. Portion sizes of food seemed pretty large on the tables around us. It seemed to get busy as we were leaving the restaurant around 7 pm.

We ordered the Mac n cheese with boneless chicken, burger, caprese salad with salmon. Food was ok. The burger patty was thin and on the dry side. The Mac and cheese portion was big and we couldn’t finish it and it cost $20. The caprese salad with salmon was the best of the three items we ordered.

Great service, there was about a 20 min wait in dining so we sat and ate at the bar. Bartender was great and attentive , food tastes very good. I had steak sandwich and sweet potatoe fries, my son had smash burger. Prickly pear margarita. Very good.

Staff were great, the atmosphere was awesome, four stars because the bathroom was not clean, the door to the stalls in the bathroom was kicked in, totally smashed and it seems it was like that for some time, the tacos that I ordered as you see in the pictures are chicken tacos the fried chicken was fried so hard that I had to remove the chicken to eat the tacos, but on the other had the food portion was very generous a bit on the pricey side due to it being a touristy town. The drinks were great and they came fast.

For our last night in Paige we stopped in here and had dinner. We arrived shortly before 5:30 and we were able to get a table. The staff was friendly, service was a little slow. However, they were busy. We had a burger and salad. Both were very good. The burger came.out hot and was delicious. The salad was fresh and tasty. There is plenty of parking out front, so that should not be a concern. If you get a chance stop in.

We went on a Friday night around 6, it looks like the bar area is popular for the locals. We were just passing through. Sage was our waitress and she was great. My husband got a smash burger, delicious. I got fried chicken tacos, delicious. Fries and mac were amazing. Buy a round for the kitchen!
