Horseshoe Bend, located just three miles from the center of Page, Arizona, is a must-see attraction. A short half-mile hike leads to an overlook where you can capture iconic photos of the Colorado River's unique bend. Consider taking a rafting trip on the river for an even closer experience. Sunset is the ideal time to visit, as it creates stunning photo opportunities with the sun setting behind the bend.
Horseshoe Bend offers a breathtaking view of the Colorado River curving dramatically through the desert landscape—it's a must-see for nature lovers and photographers alike. Be prepared for a short but hot hike, and arrive early or late in the day to avoid crowds and catch the best light.
Mike Z — Google review
A must do stop! It is about a 20 minute walk to the bend. Parking is $10. Bring water with you! The view is spectacular! About 1.3 mile r/t
Irene E — Google review
This place is really under rated. The view is absolutely stunning. Appx 15-20 minutes walk each way. Based on other reviews we visited the place when it was overcast. So we were able to get amazing pictures. We were told that when it is sunny, it's a little too bright. Definitely worth the $10 they charge per car to enter the park.
Annamalai M — Google review
A very scenic nature wonder with unique features. A paid parking lot is available near the spot. It requires a 10 min hike on a well delimited path. Make sure you get a bottle of water with you and take your time at the view points. Expect crowds, the location is very popular, even during a work day.
Ionut D — Google review
Awesome site to see, pictures don't do it justice! The entire area around the viewpoint is a lot of fun with lots of scrambling opportunities! A lot of great viewing areas away from the tourist crowds at the main viewpoint. Highly recommend!
Ali A — Google review
I’m speechless at the beauty of Horseshoe Bend. I was about to skip it on my way to Antelope Canyon, but since we arrived early, we decided to give it a chance, and it became one of the most incredible memories of our lives. Just be careful near the edges so you don’t fall! 😃
Matt R — Google review
What you need to know - IT IS QUITE A HIKE from the parking lot to where you can see the actual bend. Downhill to get there...It's completely doable, but I wasn't expecting it! It is gorgeous - take your binoculars ... you can see the tiny folks kayaking or camping on the inside of the bend. A little research, you can find boating excursions on the river below!
Teresa C — Google review
Horseshoe Bend is one of the most stunning natural wonders in the United States — absolutely jaw-dropping! 🏜️✨ When you finally reach the edge and see that massive curve of the Colorado River wrapping around the red cliffs, it feels almost unreal — like a painting come to life. The colors, the depth, the silence — it’s pure magic. The short hike from the parking lot takes about 10–15 minutes, and while it’s not difficult, bring water, sunscreen, and a hat, especially in summer — the sun can be intense. There are viewing platforms and safety rails now, but if you walk a bit further, you can still find quieter spots for photos. 📸 Try to come early in the morning or around sunset — the light is softer, the crowds smaller, and the view unforgettable. An absolute must-see if you’re visiting Page, Antelope Canyon, or Lake Powell. One of those places that truly reminds you how breathtaking our planet is. 🌍💫

Dams
Glen Canyon Dam, a 710-ft. concrete structure, created Lake Powell and is a popular spot for guided tours and photo opportunities. Located in Page, this town serves as a base camp for exploring iconic attractions like Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, and the Colorado River. Visitors can enjoy boat tours from the foot of the dam, drifting through Horseshoe Bend and anchoring at Petroglyph Beach before returning to Page via motorcoach.
Located on the Colorado River, this 710-foot arch concrete dam was completed in 1963 and created Lake Powell, which is the second largest reservoir in the USA and extending 186 miles long. This stunning dam serves many purposes including providing hydroelectric power generation, flood control, water allocation between the Upper and Lower Colorado River Basins and water storage. Some other key facts, the dam is 710 feet high and 1,560 feet wide and is a popular recreation destination attracting millions of visitors every year. One of the best views can be seen from the observation deck to the rear of the Carl Hayden Visitor Center, where there is plenty of free parking.
Thomas B — Google review
wonderful place, from the list of "must see attraction". Pretty big parking place and very informative Visitors Center with interesting exposition explaining history of Canyon Glen Dam and that place in general. Comfortable restroom and amazing points of view to make great pictures
Boris S — Google review
What a wonderful example of American engineering! The Glen Canyon Dam, completed in 1963, stands proudly on the Colorado River. It’s an impressive sight and definitely worth a visit if you’re near Page, Arizona.
Murillo P — Google review
Visiting Glen Canyon Dam was an unforgettable experience. The contrast between the massive concrete structure and the vibrant blue waters of Lake Powell is simply breathtaking. The dam itself is an engineering marvel, towering high and holding back one of the most scenic reservoirs in the Southwest. One of the highlights is the Glen Canyon Bridge, which offers spectacular panoramic views of the dam and the deep canyon below. Standing on the bridge, you get a thrilling perspective of the sheer height and scale of the whole landscape. Whether you're into photography, engineering wonders, or just soaking in natural beauty, Glen Canyon Dam delivers. The combination of crystal-clear water, red canyon walls, and impressive architecture makes this a must-see stop near Page, Arizona.
Lim Y — Google review
Glen Canyon dam is an arch dam across the Colorado River. Lake Powell has been formed because of this dam. The dam, the 'rainbow bridge' parallel to it offer a great experience while visiting/planning activities around Lake Powell. There is hydro electric power house attached to the dam. Iconic Horseshoe Bend is a few miles downstream of this dam.
Sunny A — Google review
When you are in Page, AZ, make it another stop. The visitors center offers a variety of interactive tools to explain how dams work. The dam itself is a technological marvel that needs to be seen and understood. Great for kids to learn about how electricity gets generated. Then, the natural beauty of the surrounding area adds another level of marvel.
Artur C — Google review
Glen Canyon Dam is definitely worth a visit, especially if you’re traveling with family. The natural surroundings are beautiful—the earthy tones of the canyon and the reflections on the water create a really picturesque scene. While the dam itself is fairly average compared to others we’ve seen across different states, it’s still an impressive structure and adds to the overall experience. A nice stop if you’re in the area!
Jesus C — Google review
Glen canyon dam is so cool! We were there while they were releasing a bunch of water into the river and it was pretty mind blowing. If you don’t have time to stop by the visitor center, at least stop by the bridge and walk across to see the view.

Lower Antelope Canyon is a must-see experience that offers unique and breathtaking views. The canyon, where giant rock walls enclose the path, creates a sense of wonder as you navigate through its curves. One way to explore it is by renting a foot pedaling kayak from the Marina and paddling around to Lower Antelope Canyon. Along the way, there are checkpoints including climbing ladders and boulders.
Our daytime tour of the Lower Antelope Canyon was amazing and went beyond all of our expectations. The natural light created breathtaking colors and views at every turn. Our guide was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and took incredible photos for us. The organization was smooth and we never felt rushed. If you’re near Page, AZ, don’t miss this natural wonder. Highly recommended!
Daniel K — Google review
Very nice experience with the lower antelope canyon. You need to reach 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Make sure to take hydration water before you go to the canyon
Ashish J — Google review
a very enjoyable, exciting and challenging experience on every route, tour guide was very good. Here you are not allowed to bring any bags into the canyon, it is better to wear a hat or glasses, avoid bringing an umbrella because it will make things difficult because in the canyon area there are small and narrow parts.
Dian F — Google review
A superb guided tour to the lower antelope canyon and very fascinating to learn about canyon formations, fauna and how people work and coordinate together! The canyon is so picturesque and our guide helped take an amazing picture of seahorse point and arch! We booked the tour through Dixie!
Preyas S — Google review
We took a guided tour that costed us around 70$ per person. I totally liked the experience. However, I felt little rushed at some point because of the crowds. It’s understandable since we visited during thanksgiving time.
Saisreemeenakshi V — Google review
Amazing. Total time in canyon is approx 90 min to walk thru the crack in the earth. There are lots of steps and ladders and they are narrow and steep. We saw one pretty big guy coming back up as we were starting our way down the first set of ladders, he decided he'd never be able to come back up if he went down. Know your limits. At the narrowest parts at the bottom I could just fit thru, so it's not for everyone. Make sure you know the rules. No bags allowed. Just your camera and a small water bottle. No videos at all. No pictures on the ladders. Keep it moving. Stay with your tour group. To enter you must be with a Navajo escort from one of the 2 companies and stay with them the entire way. Make res ahead of time to make sure there's spots for your group before you get there. Only porta potties available at the meeting place, and foot pump your water to wash hands. There was no soap. Pictures and words don't describe how amazing it was. I was glad it didn't rain because if it's flash flooding they'll close the slot canyons. Although not a national park, I enjoyed it more than Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion.
HonoluluMoMx2 — Google review
Lower Antelope Canyon is truly one of the most breathtaking natural wonders I’ve ever seen. Walking through the narrow sandstone corridors feels like stepping into a living sculpture carved by wind and time. The light beams filtering through the cracks above create magical, ever-changing patterns. Compared to Upper Antelope Canyon, this one is narrower and involves climbing stairs, which adds a bit of adventure to the experience.

Glen Canyon Dam Overlook is a popular spot in Page, Arizona, offering a short and easy hike down to a viewpoint along the rim of Glen Canyon. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the overlook, where visitors can enjoy stunning views of the river and dam. The overlook features rock-carved stairs and a parking lot for convenience. Nearby attractions include Waterhole Canyon, known for its beautiful slot canyons and gorges cutting through Navajo red sandstone.
Pretty cool staircase trail. Plenty of parking. Beautiful rocks for the right pic. Water level extremely low. Dam is average, but the canyon view is beautiful. Under 30 minutes to enjoy the view.
HRO — Google review
Wonderful views and relaxing to just sit and relax! It’s a vista point there’s no trails or anything “extra” to do just soak in the sun and enjoy the view. Definitely worth the stop to see or just stretch your legs. The only reason I knock a star off is because the “stairs” down are very slippery, Please be careful! So glad they have hand rails! I ended up just taking my flip flops off because there was no way I was making it down with out hurting myself with them on.
April S — Google review
Beautiful place to stop!! You can sit here and relax, or just stop in real quick for another view! The views are beautiful. The water is beautiful. It was a little short like to the overlook, but nothing too strenuous. I highly recommend adding this place as a last minute quick stop if you want one!
Kristin B — Google review
Great area. The rocks are fun to climb on and arguably a better angle for pictures, though you'll of course want to be super careful. Try to go just before sunset to miss crowds and secure a parking space.
Josiah J — Google review
Amazing overlook! This is the best spot to see both the dam and the bridge up close. Skip the visitor center and come here instead — the views are much better! You do need to hike down a bit for the perfect view and photos, but it’s absolutely worth it.
PRINCE R — Google review
Beautiful, must see while in Page. Good spot for photos, meditation, sun bathing and picnicking. The walk downhill can be challenging - smooth rocks and lots of sand so please wear appropriate sneakers and be careful.
Natasha M — Google review
The dam view is absolutely stunning. It has a small museum kinda thing where you can read the history and see some artefacts as well. Restrooms are available as well. A quick visit.
Atika H — Google review
Great overview of the dam and other breathtaking views, but beware, the trail to go down is a bit tricky and the rail to hold on to is extremely hot! It takes about 8 minutes and there's some stairs but not through all the trail.

The Carl Hayden Visitor Center, a circular glass-enclosed observation building, is perched 110 feet above the Glen Canyon Dam. This modernistic structure was completed in 1963 to accommodate and educate tourists visiting Lake Powell. Inside, visitors can explore interpretive exhibits on area geology and history as well as an enlightening relief map.
Admission is free, so buy something in the gift shop if you want to support conservation & local Native Americans. The views from inside are fantastic with large glass windows overlooking the dam. There are a lot of exhibits and things to read on the inside, with ample air conditioning to escape the heat, and a small dinosaur footprint exhibit outside that you might not pay attention to, if you don't know it's there. They had a movie program starting but I did not have time to stay for it as I was just passing through. I would definitely stop here again, and allow more time to explore as the bridge right next door appears to allow foot traffic over the canyon.
My E — Google review
The center is located off U.S. Highway 89 on the north side, just after you cross the Glen Canyon Dam Bridge or on the west side of the Colorado River. Here you will find a large visitors’ center, a dinosaur track display, and to the rear, a large viewing area overlooking the dam itself. There is plenty of free parking including a large oversize vehicle parking lot on the west side of the center. The center itself is part of the Glen Canyon Dam complex and provides information about the dam and the surrounding area. Inside the center there are numerous exhibits, a theater with a short video about the dam and surrounding area, a gift shop, restrooms, and a large observation deck to the rear of the center. The center is the primary visitor center for Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and Rainbow Bridge National Monument and is part of the National Park Service (NPS).
Thomas B — Google review
Great place to know about the dam, power plant and bridge. There is a movie theater in the premises where we can watch the documentary about the place. The entry is free and washrooms are good. Nice open space for parking.
Venugopal B — Google review
This is worthy of stopping by... do not pass it up! Hands-on, informative, and surprisingly better than I expected. Dam, it was amazing! (The dad core joke was there, I had to go for it.) 😅 Seriously, worthy of checking out and it's free! Kids will like it too! (See me in the kid section)
Stacey S — Google review
Impressive place, landscape in the area is amazing, visitors center had a simple but informative display of the dam building, area maps, history and local heritage. Nice gift shop look for their clearance deals! Pretty busy place.

In Page AZ we hiked Car Crash Canyon to the Colorado River. The trail begins at the dog pound. It was your own canvas over the rugged canyon. In it, around it, mapping your own trail!

Small museum with gift shop, good views, free. No tours at this time (per staff, no tours since COVID). Expect about 1/2 to one hour. Great views of the dam. Also reasonably priced souvenirs and, as is important in roadtrips, bathrooms.

Bridge
Glen Canyon Dam Bridge, located in the young town of Page, Arizona, was built in 1957 to retain water from the upper Colorado River and generate hydroelectric power for the region. Despite environmental controversies surrounding large dams, the engineering marvel of Glen Canyon Dam is undeniably impressive. The dam offers a picturesque setting and serves as a popular tourist stop. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the Colorado River below and explore the nearby museum to learn about its history and significance.
Bridge is next to the fourth tallest dam in the United States. Magnificent views near Page Arizona. Great visitor center.
Brian W — Google review
This bridge is located along U.S. Highway 89 on the north end of Page, Arizona and crosses the Colorado River just south of the dam. It is also known as the Colorado River Bridge with a bridge deck height 700 feet above the Colorado River and an overall length of 1,271 feet. This steel arch bridge was built by the Bureau of Reclamation and when completed in 1959, was the highest arch bridge in the world and is still one of the highest arch bridges in the USA today. At the time, the primary purpose of the bridge was to facilitate the transport of materials for the construction of the Glen Canyon Dam, which is adjacent to the bridge. For the best view of the bridge, we recommended a stop at the Carl Hayden Visitor Center on the west side of the bridge.
Thomas B — Google review
Nice spot to stretch your legs en route to Grand Canyon or the other way to Zion National. The dam is massive, and you get a breathtaking view of the Colorado River below. There is a museum nearby as well. It's a fun spot to learn, take a break, and admire the scenery around Lake Powell.
Ali — Google review
We walked the bridge and it was pretty cool and a little scary......really cool engineering.
Andy B — Google review
Glen Canyon Dam is the 2nd largest Dam in the U.S. It wasn't too crowded and tickets can be purchased inside for a tour. I’ve never done the tour. You can walk the bridge for free and overlook the Dam between the canyon. There are areas on the bridge walkway to take photos without the fence ruining the photos!! The Dam holds up the water level of this area. It's arched and beautiful. You can see amazing views and take home gifts.

Hanging Garden Trail was a short very nice hike. Excellent views. Took a total of 20-25 minutes there and back. Very close to Page and we snuck this hike in before our tour. The path is well marked with rocks.
N Y — Google review
Superb quick hike! Beautiful green ferns living on natural spring against the rock. Lucky if you see any blooms on the green plants! Trail winds around and around but easy enough to do.
London L — Google review
Short little hike, mainly flat. Best part was under the little hanging garden. There is no shade on this trail so I would suggest doing it either early or late.
Jennie B — Google review
We've done this trail multiple times over the last almost two decades. It's a mellow hike. Fairly flat. The only thing to be aware of is that there's almost no shelter from the sun for most of the hike. So if you're doing it during hotter months try to go more in the morning or late afternoon. It does have some stellar views of the lake. Also, if you come across this. We found an iPhone, newer, blue case, on the ground a few hundred feet from the parking lot. We placed it on a rock on the west side of the gate.
Thomas B — Google review
What a nice little hike! About 20 minutes to get to the garden with some good views along the way. The garden was a surprising, cool and beautiful spot hidden there in the desert. We wholeheartedly recommend to stop there.
Tim T — Google review
This trail is probably super hot on most days so by the time you reach this oasis of shade and plants it truly seems like paradise. It is a short hike that in some seasons has flowers and ferns in the wall with water. It is worthwhile. We saw several lizards too.

History Museums
The John Wesley Powell Museum, situated in downtown Page and operated by the local visitors bureau, is a must-visit spot. It offers free admission for families and showcases the history of Colorado River exploration, including information on explorers, local tribes, geology and dinosaurs. The museum also features a trading post where one can purchase souvenirs. Visitors may learn about John Powell's journey through the Grand Canyon at this museum with informative exhibits that even feature items like his bed frame from Maine.
Small but informative museum about the history of Lake Powell. The staff were very helpful on planning where to go to see the lake. There is a gift shop next door for National Park passport stamps and Lake Powell souvenirs.
Kiet T — Google review
Free museum detailing the life of John Wesley powell and his exploration of the Colorado River. It also highlights the native Americans of the area, the town of Page, and the geology.
Town T — Google review
For those looking for things to do in Page, you might want to pop into The Powell Museum and Visitor Centre ($3 per person) on N. Lake Powell Blvd. Opening hours are 9am to 5pm daily. Here you will find a small museum with a handful of rooms which cover several areas of interest. The Colorado River history details reports of early expeditions and pioneer discovery of the region by way of river based trips. This was quite interesting. We also enjoyed the small section on the history of Page, Arizona. You will learn a bit about the town's founding, the dam project and see pictures from the early days of this community. There are further displays covering human history, geology and paleontology for this region of Arizona, which round out your visit to the Powell Museum. Overall, the museum exhibitions are rather brief, being made up of fair mix of of text, old photos and displays items - nothing too demanding on visitors. You can conveniently view everything in 20-30 minutes. There is a small gift shop on site where you might find souvenirs worth buying.
Brad — Google review
Don't pass by this local Museum - the exhibits and interpretation on the geology, history and paleontology are excellent. Interpreter Paul is incredibly knowledgeable as is the staff next door at the Glen Canyon Conservancy store; one of the best in northern Arizona. A wonderful experience not to be missed!

Great way to get over view of area in time, earliest residents, explorers and damn history. Amazing docent, friendly, knowledgeable of all of local (modern and before settlers) history. Great resource on current adventure choices in area. Souvenir shop next door also very helpful and welcoming.

The ladies at the museum were very informative! Really enjoyed the museum, beautiful art and interesting facts about John Powell and his trip through the Grand Canyon, he even had ties to Maine! With a house built there and the bed frame on display.

A great place to take a break from the heat. The John Wesley Powell Museum is located with the local visitors bureau in downtown Page. The price is right when you consider the cost is free for the whole family. You will get a chance to learn the history of the Colorado River, explorers, local tribes, geology and dinosaurs. Don't forget to check the trading post as there are plenty of souvenirs for everyone.

Immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Navajo people at the Red Heritage- Native American Dinner Show in Page. This unique experience offers a glimpse into traditional Native American heritage through captivating performances by local dancers and musicians. As you enjoy a delicious dinner featuring options like Navajo tacos with various protein choices, you'll be treated to stories, flute playing, drum music, and more.
This was one of the most fulfilling and majestic experiences I've had and completely made my tour trip to Arizona that much better. With this show and dinner you will be immersed in authentic Navajo culture and the proud people that represent it. I was privileged to meet and converse with the performers, who were all very welcoming, insightful, and warmhearted. I met some great people here and I cannot wait until I can make another stop on my next Arizona visit. Thank you for such a wonderful time, and I hope to see you and the great Navajo land once more! P.S. After the show you will see an exciting line up of authentically made Navajo items, from bracelets and necklaces, to dream catchers and even a tomahawk! All of these items are the real deal, made by the Navajo people, and imbued with their spiritual blessings and prayers. I brought some back as gifts for my nieces and nephews, and you get to share the story behind the gift. I highly recommend you leave with a piece of Navajo with you.

We enjoyed the dinner show at Red Heritage very much. The dinner choices of Navajo taco on fry bread or salad with choice of meat and toppings was very good. The historical show was interesting and informative. We learned things that are not taught in school. The monologue and the dances were exceptional!

What a wonderful experience. We paid for just the show tickets (though the food did look amazing!). I was expecting the focus to be solely on Diné culture because of the location in Page, AZ, but it was really cool how they showcased dances from multiple tribes in the lower 48. It helps people understand that each tribe is so different from one another. Everything was very educational; they explained the meaning behind each dance and its significance. The dancers were incredibly talented (as were the drummers and the pan flautist) and the energy in the room was palpable. I also really enjoyed the Diné weaving demonstration before the show, too. Don't miss this experience when you're in Page!

What an amazing experience. I had the fry bread with Tri-tip, which was delicious. While eating, you get an educational learning experience of the Navajo culture and history. Then a variety of cultural dance performances. The whole atmosphere was amazing and service was awesome. My family and I had a really good time. Our favorite was the hoop dance. Recommend if you’re in Page, AZ

The dinner show was truly an educational and enlightening cultural experience! It was an excellent opportunity to meet some of our nation's first people and learn about their way of life. The Navajo tacos were also quite delectable. I highly recommend!

The dancing portion of the show was fabulous! While we enjoyed the dinner and information about the making of the Navajo blankets, it was watching the beautifully outfitted dancers that made our night! Highly recommend a visit. Good value and a memorable evening!

Located in the Navajo Nation territory near the Arizona-Utah border, Lake Powell Navajo Tribal Park is home to the stunning Antelope Canyon. Carved by millions of years of erosion, this park features two slot canyons: Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon. These narrow passageways offer breathtaking views and unique photo opportunities. Visitors can explore these natural wonders through guided tours that require reservations.
It was stepping out of your world to a while new world! Amazing! You will have to be there to experience it because pictures doesn’t do justice at all!

Highly recommend that you take the lower antelope canyon tour from Ken's tour. The tour guides were fantastic and helped you take amazing photos while also knowing so much information about what we were seeing. $20 a person for an hour tour! It does get hot so bring water - they also have water and snacks there for purchase, I recommend bringing cash. The hike down to the slot canyon is easy but there are stairs that can get pretty steep. Just take it easy!

Some of the most marvelous scenery I have ever seen! You need a guide for Antelope Canyon, a Native American is required. Our guide was especially helpful in helping people take photos--she helped put cameras and phones into the correct mode for taking pictures of this natural wonder!

Totally worth the price to visit ! Although it was so crowded but you can still take amazing photos. The people from the ken's tour was very helpful, they show you which filter to use in order to capture the most beautiful angles in the canyon !

We went with lower antelope Canyon tours. Great experience. View is stunning. Must see. For just $20 you'll get the tour from a Navaho. Nice guy who helped setup our camera right. Super!

first time I had the experience, it wasn't a park, but it was kept clean of trash and not too many white eyes knew of this treasure. Haven't been there in over 30 years I hope we all take care of this treasure as it has powers that you must experience . I am not a Native American but the NAVAJO treated me as one. I miss and love them . Until we meet in a better place. PEACE , LOVE, HAPPINESS AND HEALTH.

Hiking area
Horseshoe Bend is a historic park along the Tallapoosa River, offering activities such as hiking and boating. It holds significance for being the site of Andrew Jackson's Creek War win. Situated below the Glen Canyon Dam, it marks the point where the Colorado River continues its journey towards the Grand Canyon.
I visited Horseshoe Bend for the first time and I’m star struck. It’s a jaw-dropping experience, so pretty and scary at the same time looking down at the Colorado River below. There’s no entrance fee to visit, but we paid $10 to park our vehicle. From the entrance, it’s quite a hike to get to the overlook, especially if it’s your first time. The view that awaits you is absolutely worth it though. The trail is well-maintained, with some railings near the main viewing area for safety, but you can also walk along the edges for different angles. Just be careful!! Pictures don’t do it justice, it’s something you have to see for yourself. Overall, this is a must-see if you’re anywhere near Page, Arizona. It’s quick, affordable, and unforgettable! Tip: Go early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid crowds and get the best lighting for photos.

A stunning view! We visited Horseshoe Bend around sunset time. The weather was pleasant, making the round trop walk comfortable. The trail is easy and well maintained. There are stops halfway so you can rest and enjoyed the sight. Recommend visitng sunset time, the view will be much more beautiful then early morning.
Karis L — Google review
Just spectacular, and a must see! See my pictures for prices....its a short hike down a nice gravel trail that accommodates groups of people with a small metal canopy with seating and shade half way down. There is a railed area to get great pictures from. Be careful if you walk around outside that area!

One of America’s greatest landmarks! This is worth time and money to see. My goal was to get here to take sunrise photos, but the ticket booth staff were over a half an hour late getting to work so I missed them. The line of cars at the gate by the time they got here was well out onto the main road. So if you’re hoping for sunrise photos, there is a chance your plans will be thwarted. Sunrise started happening at 6:45 and the sun started hitting the Grand Canyon around 7:10 AM. The crowds were crazy this early in the morning. By 7 AM there were seven tour buses and everyone, I kid you not, was sprinting down the trail to get sunrise photos at the viewing platforms. Trail is compacted dirt about four people wide. You can easily wear tennis shoes and possibly roll a wheelchair down this trail. There is a 10% grade coming back up so you might need help with that. Entrance fee is $10 cash or card. Bathrooms are vaulted toilets in concrete structures. I gave it four stars instead of five because of the late staffing issues. There were a lot of people that got up before the sun to get those sunrise photos.
Alex K — Google review
Easy access to the parking lot of of 89 very close to Page. The walking trail is wife enough for 6 people size by side and is an easy path. I saw someone pushing a wheelchair on the path, but it is small gravel. Another person had an electric cart that had an easy time. The view is stunning, and pictures of the entire bend is possible with less than 1x on your phone, or panoramic mode. There are also great spots to get the river in the background.
Daniel W — Google review
Absolutely stunning views and scenery. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking and an easy, roughly 1-mile round-trip walk with two shaded rest stops if you need a break. There’s a small parking fee. It can get crowded, so go during the week or outside major holidays and tourist hours for the best experience. Public restrooms (out house style/pit latrines).
Cally H — Google review
I think Horseshoe Bend is over-marketed on Instagram and social media — most photos online are heavily enhanced, and the colors in real life aren’t quite as dramatic. The view is nice, but the place feels very touristic, crowded, and noisy. The entry fee is $10 just for parking, which seems high considering that for $30 you can visit an entire national park, and this spot isn’t included in the National Parks Pass. If you’re already driving between Page and the Grand Canyon, it’s worth a quick stop since it’s right on the way. But honestly, nearby places like Glen Canyon National Recreation Area offer more space, peace, and equally stunning scenery without the packed crowds.
Jenny N — Google review
Absolutely Stunning Every Time! The hike to Horseshoe Bend is about 1.5 miles round trip — easy and very manageable for most people. There are three benches along the way where you can sit, relax, and take in the views. The scenery at the top is absolutely spectacular, especially during sunset. I’ve visited four times over the past seven years, and I always make sure to stay until the sun goes down — it never disappoints. A must-visit spot every single time! You have to pay 10$ per vehicle for parking.

Parking lot
Horseshoe Bend Overlook Parking Lot is a must-visit spot along the North Rim Scenic Drive to Cape Royal. The $10 entry fee is worth it for the stunning views and well-maintained walking trail. Although parking can be pricey, the approximately 1.5-mile round trip offers a pilgrimage through breathtaking landscapes. It's a rare piece of natural beauty that's definitely worth the stop, especially if you're en route to Page for another tour.
Very busy, many areas to setup for photography that are safe and overall friendly setup to enter and park. Vaulted (no flush) toilets are available, benches for the elderly or those with medical needs to sit and relax, about 3 sets of them every so often and no lights are available in restrooms. It is about a 1 mile walk to the view of Horseshoe bend and 1 mile back (Estimated).
Ahmed M — Google review
Gorgeous place however be aware that the regular America the Beautiful pass does not work here. You have to pay $10 per car or $5 per individual cycling or just walking in without a car. The NPS website lists this as part of Glen Canyon which the pass should work. Once you get at this specific gate you have to pay to enter your interagency pass does not work it is confusing but they do take cash and credit cards. Well worth the money it is amazing. Now this is the summer season, for the love of God bring plenty of water for the walk it is easy in the early morning. Once is 90 to 100 degrees by noon it is a different story one small water bottle might not be enough per person on that type of heat. We witness plenty of people getting heat sick walking this path it is hot 🔥 specially if you are not used to this type of heat. Also bring a sun hat a big one not a baseball cap that's not enough to cover up your face, sunglasses, long sleeves and sunscreen. You face and skin will thank you later.

Absolutely Breathtaking! Horseshoe Bend is one of those places that photos just can’t do justice — you have to see it in person to truly appreciate its beauty. The short walk from the parking area is well worth it, and once you reach the overlook, the view will leave you speechless. The colors of the Colorado River against the red rock cliffs are simply stunning, especially during sunrise or sunset. It’s a peaceful yet powerful place that really makes you stop and take in the moment. The area is clean, well-maintained, and easy to access for most visitors. If you’re ever in Page, Arizona, this is an absolute must-see! Pro tip: Bring water, wear comfortable shoes, and give yourself time to just sit and enjoy the view — you won’t regret it.
ROBERTO — Google review
The parking area is totally different than what you see on Google view. The City of Page now charges $10.00 per vehicle to enter with three pay stations. The parking lot has been paved, and it is a very large parking area including oversized parking spaces with reserved RV Parking Only. At the south end of the parking lot on the east side there is now a row of vault toilets. Still recommend getting here early due to the crowds. We arrived just when it opened and by the time we left, the place was overflowing with people and vehicles. Finally, they do not except any State or Federal Park passes, everyone pays to enter with no re-entry allowed.
Thomas B — Google review
This was by far my favorite view of the Grand Cañon, when you get to Horse Shoe Bend you pay a US $10 fee, they have a lot of parking spots you can use. After park, you will have to walk 15 min to get there, in a very sunny and dry road but with 2 shade stops with seats if you need to rest. Once you get there it will be worth every penny, beautiful scenic, great spot for pictures and couple of small trails for the more adventure ones. 10/10 for me.
Daniel R — Google review
Upon arrival, a $10 entry fee is required, payable by card or cash. It has ample parking for visitors. From the parking area, it’s approximately a 15-minute walk to reach the main area. Once there, you’ll be greeted by beautiful scenic views, making it an excellent spot for photography.
Arjun 7 — Google review
Beautiful! Pair with Lower Antelope Canyon Tour and Glen Canyon. Freaked me out a bit with my fear of heights though! Be prepared for an easy, 10 min downhill walk there but uphill the whole way back. There are points along the path for shade which helps. The bathrooms are not ideal so plan for that.
Shelby V — Google review
This was my 4th time visiting since 2019. The first 3 times, there was no parking fee. However, I understand that some great infrastructure (railing) was done at the actual Horseshoe Bend to make it more safe. This was a great decision, but one I think most people would have declined if it was going tor result in a $10 parking fee each time you wanted to visit. Most of the cost likely came in building the building, new sign and paving the lot FOR the parking, vs the actual railing and concrete put in at Horseshoe Bend. America has an obsession with making people pay for parking. This is a perfect example. It's a cool spot, and if you haven't been then pay the $10, but once you've been... now that there is a fee... not really any incentive to return IMO.

Page Lake Powell Campground is a popular destination in Page, AZ, offering a wide range of activities for visitors. Located near the Glen Canyon Dam, it provides easy access to Lake Powell where visitors can enjoy kayaking, fishing, paddle-boarding, and swimming. The campground offers facilities for both RVs and tents and is conveniently situated close to Horseshoe Bend. Additionally, its proximity to national parks, Navajo land, and historic sites makes it an ideal base for exploring the Southwest.
We stayed one night, and paid less than the average price… which was a pretty good deal.. air conditioning, tv, comfortable king sized bed with 2 twin bunks, table, coffee maker…the campground had a pool( we didn’t use) and decent showers and bathrooms. Office had ice and beverages and other items for sale. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Convenient, Clean & Cozy Campground Great location right in the center of town—everything was super easy to get to. Even though it was busy on a Friday, it stayed peaceful and quiet, which we loved. The restrooms and campground were very clean. We stayed at tent site T7, which had power, water, and soft sand—great for barefoot camping! Each site also came with a picnic table and grill, which made meals easy and fun. We’re already planning to come back and try the wagon or one of the tiny cabins. There’s also a short hike up the nearby sandstone mountain with a great view of the town—perfect for sunsets and stargazing.Highly recommend for a laid-back, central place to stay!

Very cool area close to the famous tourist spot. Affordable prices and very new facilities. The room was a little small, but ok for two persons. If you have more than 2 people then will be small for you. Recommend it if you don’t want to sleep outside but want to enjoy the natural environment.
Minghui X — Google review
It is a convient campground but they need to address certain things. The cost, for what you get is high and the permanent residence junk and clutter outside their campers and RVS is awful. The sites look beat up and junky. The cost for 6 nights is 500+. For a week, less then really is ridiculous. We travel full-time and paid that for a months stay in much nicer campgrounds. In places as AZ, WY, CO and SD.

Great experience here. Self check-in process was really nice. Our site was plain but the view was awesome to the east. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to explore around Page (less than 10 mins from Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, etc). Right up the street from lots of food options and a Walmart Supercenter.

Don't stay here. The good reviews must of not stayed anywhere else. This is my first negative review ever. The cleaning staff were not accommodating, communicate and we're rude. Black mold on the tile wall and ceiling must be acceptable to them. Front staff were kind, but didn't communicate well and not very helpful. The front office is not stocked with anything you may need. The site staff drove around fast, creating a dust cloud where ever they went, which was easy considering everything is dirt. Yes, it was a decent price, but not worth putting up with the chaios. Glad it was only 2 nights.
Rick H — Google review
All around good campground close to town. Friendly staff and full amenities. We were traveling through and spent just one night here, but we would have liked to stay longer. Other than not having any grass areas, which would have been great for the kids, we enjoyed all other aspects of the campground. They had an indoor pool, playground (not shaded), dog park, BBQ picnic area, full hookups, restrooms, laundry mat, propane refueling, level parking, wifi & more. It was only four minutes from town & the highway. We would stay here again the next time passing through.

Absolutely incredible experience! Just got back from a 3-day overnight kayaking trip and it was unforgettable. Each day had its own wow moment and something exciting to do. Our guides Max and Gabe were amazing - so kind, attentive, and genuinely great people. We felt totally taken care of the whole time. If you’re looking for an absolute epic kayaking trip, this is the one. Can’t recommend it enough!!

We kayaked and hiked July 21st 2025. What a great way to experience the canyon. Amazing views around every corner. Our guide Joey, we will call him 5-Star Joey cause he didn’t say he had a nickname yet, brought us to the swimming spot in the canyon where we got to swim and have a snack if we wanted. Informed us about the canyon, how it was formed, wildlife, about the plants you would see along the way. Great trip and would recommend to anyone that can.

We rented a paddleboard and kayak to explore Lake Powell/Antelope Canyon and had the best time! The waters going into the canyon were a bit choppy but otherwise manageable, and inside the canyon was very calm. I’d highly recommend renting through this company if you have any experience kayaking. You can explore at your own pace rather than in a group which is much more our style! The staff were also excellent!

Hands down one of the best experiences ever. My husband and I did one of the 8 am kayaking tours with Connor and he was the best guide. He was very interactive, engaging and friendly as well as knowledgeable. He took his time and took photos of people in our group when asked and he set a great pace so we could all stick together. Honestly every staff member I had the pleasure of speaking with were super friendly and accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend this place and would go through them again next opportunity.

This is a great way to see Antelope Canyon by kayak or paddle board. My friend and I visited Lake Powell for Memorial Day weekend and tried to rent jet skis from a different place, but they were sold out two days in a row. Most of the businesses will only let you do walk up rentals if you don’t rent for most of the day, but there were plenty of kayaks and paddle boards when we arrived around 9am. We ended up deciding to kayak and was able to get to the entrance of Antelope Canyon and back in about two hours. The weather was a bit overcast, which made it perfect because it wasn’t too hot. The one thing to be aware of is that boater courtesy is low at this part of the lake. Boats and jet skis seem to be generally unaware of the wake they create and don’t slow down when passing kayaks and paddle boards. At least you’ll get a good work out in! The business was very friendly and the rental cost was a great value. If I came back, I’d definitely plan to stay and rent for longer! There are also options to do a guided tour.

The Chains is a picturesque area near the Glen Canyon Dam, offering stunning views of Lake Powell and the Colorado River. Visitors can enjoy solitude while swimming, fishing, and admiring the dam from the Lake Powell side. Although there are no designated paths at the end of the chains, adventurous hikers can navigate the terrain to reach semi-accessible spots by the water. While it requires good shoes and some balance, this outing promises excitement for healthy and mobile individuals.
If you're looking for a breathtaking, off-the-beaten-path adventure in Page, Arizona, Chains Trail is a must-visit! 🏜️ This hidden gem isn’t a traditional marked trail—you get to explore and make your own path down toward the water. The views are absolutely stunning, and it's one of the most unique hikes we've done! 🚗 Easy to access – Just drive up and park at the very end (follow Google Maps); you’ll be greeted with incredible scenery right from the start and there are a few spots along the drive to park and take pictures. You don’t have to hike down unless you want to, making it great for all skill levels. 🐾 Pet-friendly – A great spot to bring your furry friends! Just remember to keep it clean—please pick up after your pets and don’t leave any trash behind. ⚠️ A few things to note – Watch your step, as there are some areas with broken glass. Take your time exploring, and wear sturdy shoes for the rocky terrain. Also, bring water, you will need it. Overall, Chains Trail is an underrated gem with jaw-dropping views, peaceful surroundings, and a perfect spot for adventure lovers. Highly recommend checking it out! 🌅🔥

Great place to explore. As others have said, there is no trail, you just traverse the rocky terrain. I took a swim, but be very CAREFUL wherever you decide to go in, as the wet rocks at the water are VERY slippery with wet feet. If you don't plan for it, you may struggle to get back out. Plan your entry/exit very carefully, or wear water shoes, or at a very minimum keep your regular shoes within reach of the water. But yeah, very cool area. I was here early on a Wednesday morning and had the place completely to myself right until I was about to leave.
Jared — Google review
Really cool spot. What we didn't know is, there isn't any specific "path" to follow. Just park in the parking lot and we worked our way to the right (facing the lake) until we found a good spot to stop and swim. Lots of dead fish carcasses, likely due to them getting stuck in shallow "ponds" when they get washed into them or swim in when water levels are up. Water was amazing, crystal clear and warm, but refreshing (mid July). Moderate hiking to get back up, but not too difficult.
Mark S — Google review
Easy to drive too with lots of parking and restrooms. Free hiking throughout. If you have good hiking shoes/boots, you can hike close to the edge of Lake Powell on the right side from the parking lot. I did that today and it was very secluded. It was nice to lay out on the rocks with the views of the lake. I didn't want to leave!
Kevin K — Google review
A really really cool spot for a hike and a swim! And of course some good photo shooting possibilities. It’s accessible to everyone, no fees, no entry tickets, parking available. I do recommend comfortable shoes especially if you’re planning to go down to the beach. No flip flops.
Magdalena R — Google review
10/18/25 the front gate is closed due to government shutdown but you can still park up front and walk down there. As others have said have sturdy shoes and be mindful of your dog's paws as theres broken glass throughout. I couldn't quite find the route to the actual water level but came within 20 feet of it.
Enzo P — Google review
The Chains Trail is a beautiful spot for a short and easy hike. The landscape is stunning, showcasing rich, earthy tones that make for great photo opportunities. However, the scenery can start to feel a bit repetitive after about 30 minutes, as the terrain doesn’t vary much, no trees nor much vegetation. My kids said, in short terms, “dad this is boring”. 😑 Swimming is not recommended here, and for good reason—it’s dangerously close to the dam. The water may look inviting, but safety should come first.
Jesus C — Google review
I think its the only free place in page, where you can go down to the water and go for a swim. There are a few places where you can reach the water and it not that deep. I followed the path from gmaps just straight and and it was the best place on my way back i had a lokk for the other ones

Into the Grand offers a captivating experience filled with Native American song, music, dance, and authentic cuisine in an old warehouse setting. The venue's charm perfectly complements the evening's essence. Located near Horseshoe Bend and Waterhole Canyon, it provides a unique cultural experience. While only open during the summer, this buffet dinner and dance performance is worth visiting for an immersive encounter with Navajo culture.
The mural painted walls and grand canyon River rafting theme was unique and very enjoyable. The Dutch oven style food was hearty and delicious! Super tender beef roast, mashed potatoes, barbeque baked beans, chunky applesauce and spice cake were just what I needed for dinner. The entertainment and ambiance were my favorite part. An acoustic guitar player with a smooth and beautiful voice performed while we ate and the native American dancing that followed was amazing! Such a great experience!

The dancing and the drums was neat. Food was good but not true buffet. Also it is no longer tacos by the way. The atmosphere was pretty interesting as well. Lots of river boats and memorabilia around. The painting is incredible. The rest of my family loved it! We had some really noisy foreign tourist that were very distracting for the first 20 minutes.

The food was good, it's a home cooked meal. The experience was spectacular!! Native Americans from the local tribe told us their history, played instruments, danced and did the hoop dance. Very amazing and worth it!!

A truly unique experience of good food, good portions, "colorado cake" for desert is a nice touch, try the Colorado sunrise drink, entertainment, great atmosphere, very friendly staff, clean facilities, ample parking space with a lot of available street parking space available. Need more room here to make mention of all the other unique stuff.... Check it out!

A great experience indeed from the very beginning. We made reservations online and showed up at our slotted time. We were greeted by Haus (sp?) who is a very friendly, personable guy who showed us into the entertainment area. He chatted a bit and sent us on our way to pick seats and get some buffet style food. The dinner was delicious...pulled pork, tender roast beef along with sides. I was disappointed that they didnt have the navajo tacos I heard so much about. The entertainment from the Navajo dancers and hooping was fantastic. This is definitely something you need to do if you are in Page. Thanks again!!

We did read about this restaurant and decided to make a reservation. We were warmly welcome by the host with a handshaking. The food was really great and the show was brillant. It felt a little bit as you are currently a part of the Navajo. I highly recommand this restaurant! Don't forget to make a reservation!

I’m from the south and absolutely loved my experience here. Delicious, southwest-style comfort food with live music and dancing. The owner, Hoss, (who made a point to meet everyone who attended) and the staff were so polite and personable. Drinks were unique and affordably priced. Make sure to visit if you’re ever in Page, AZ.
Lindsay K — Google review
Okay so I'm not 100% sure how I feel about my experience here. The owner was extremely friendly and remembered our names when he interacted with us throughout the night. The space the restaurant is in had been in his family for decades and the decor is a tribute to his and his father's Colorado River rafting business. And the concept of doing dinner and a show and only one seating a night, I really quite like. The show was really cool, traditional Native American dancing of different varieties, including some education about the Navajo culture and the type of dancing, singing, and regalias we would see. But what did they have to do with each other? I can't help my brain from thinking that the entertainment is just a gimmick the owner is using to get people in rather than an authentic experience celebrating indigenous people and their culture. I want to believe that the owner really is truly a massive supporter of the local Navajo and uses his resources to spotlight them and educate the diners who are there each night. But it's hard not to be wary since it's very clear the only Navajo influence is the show (the owner isn't Navajo, or at least didn't identify himself as Native American, and nothing about the venue/food would hint towards Navajo influence). The food isn't great, I was expecting a menu of traditional Navajo dishes, but there was only one; a Navajo taco. There rest is American food with fry bread. But my mixed drink (lavender lemonade & vodka) was delicious. Overall I'm glad we went as it was a cool experience and we learned more about the Navajo culture. We made sure to tip the dancers well. But deep down I feel a little apprehensive about the concept and really hope the dancers get paid well and enjoy doing it.

Step into the world of the Navajo people at the Navajo Village Heritage Center, a charming and family-run facility that offers tours of traditional home sites, cultural programs, and dance demonstrations. This immersive experience provides insights into the traditional way of life and unique features of Navajo homes. Visitors can also explore the culture and heritage of the Navajo people through engaging storytelling and presentations.
We loved the presentation at the Navajo Village Heritage Center. The tour plus the dances after were fantastic! The kids were very engaged and learned how to wash, spin, and put wool/yarn onto a loom.

Maybe it's interesting but we will never know... because they cancelled the demo to which we should attend ! Cancellation has been done at the last moment by a simple email (hopefully we have checked our email the parking lot, this is how we have learned that it was cancelled). They have reimbursed us, but I would prefer to attend to the demo... Our children were very disappointed...
Damien H — Google review
In my opinion, a must stop for people seeking insight to the Navajo culture and heritage. Superb dance demonstration that captivates you for nearly four minutes. Followed by a fascinating presentation by the mother of the dancer. The mother and son not long ago aquired the property from previous aging Navajo members and now together, they, own and operate the center themselves.

A fantastic experience for all ages! We just came out of the tour that started at 4.00 pm, the last tour of the day. The show started on time with a traditional dance that everyone in our party of four (2 kids 9 and 12 and 2 adults) really enjoyed. An immersive experience in the old times. After the show we were invited to explore the culture and heritage of the Navajo. The stories where very well told and the whole experience was amazing. It was worth 2x more than what we’ve paid. Very interactive, lots of learnings and the time flies by very quick. We’ve get the chance to learn how native people lived in this area in 1800, how their day by day life looked like and how they live now in reservations. Before we went to the site we were a bit concerned about the heat as it was 106 F outside but entire experience happens mainly in shaded areas. The tour continues with stories told in the traditional hogans (homes) where they have fans to cool down the temperature. Close to the village there is a gas station where you can buy water in case you forgot to bring. Opportunities to take videos and photos at all times.

If you want to know more about Navajo culture, but do not know someone personally who is apart of the Navajo tribe, this is perfect for you. Learn about the rich history and culture, while feeling free to ask all the questions you ever wanted to know. My favorite part was learning about weaving.
Amanda M — Google review
The lower antelope canyon is very close. One of the best if not the most spectaculars when it comes to colors.
Roem D — Google review
This was a very fun, interesting, engaging and educational experience! I highly recommend if you are in the area. It is a family run business with a mother and her sons giving insight into the history and culture of the Navajo tribe. You tour Navajo huts, watch a weaving demonstration and then watch a traditional Navajo dance at the end. The family was so hospitable to its guests and the tour was so informative — we had a fantastic time.

Glen Canyon National Recreation Area is a stunning expanse of natural beauty that offers visitors an array of outdoor adventures. Nestled in the heart of the American Southwest, this area is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, including towering cliffs and shimmering waters. Whether you're kayaking on Lake Powell, hiking through scenic trails, or simply soaking in the panoramic views from various lookout points, Glen Canyon provides endless opportunities for exploration and relaxation.
Beautiful campgrounds! This is where the Lone Rock sits right across the river. White colored cliffs and mountains surround this place. Amazing sunset and sunrise! The mountains and sky reflect on the lake's blue water! Photo perfect! There's off-road activities. Watercrafts are allowed but inspection before entering. Lots of fire pits made by prior campers. White sand, fine as sugar and all kinds of river rocks along the beach areas. Kids can swim or play on the sand. I wish I could stay here.

Wonderful place for some clean, family fun! With miles and miles of shoreline, This is a great place to explore, fish, and just enjoy being outside. Our family spends a lot of time here and have enjoyed every minute of it!

On a kayak down the Colorado river is an absolute must to do when you re in the area. You can even find ancient petroglyphs on the mighty sandstone walls. The echoes are amazing aswell as the song of the canyon wrens who have sung here long before humans entered this paradise.

Glen Canyon is beautiful, and sometimes ignored, because everyone goes to the Grand Canyon...it is a great recreation site with boat tours and you see the majestic beginning of the Grand Canyon.

Glen Canyon is the gateway from southern Utah to northern Arizona. Do yourself a favor and head from Vegas through Zion and Bryce, and crossover through Glen and see Vermilion on your way to Grand Canyon. Enjoy your travels!

Embark on an adventure with Big Orange Jeep Tours in Sedona, where you can explore the stunning landscapes and attractions. The tours offer exciting experiences, from navigating rocky terrains to visiting iconic sites like Bell Rock Trail and Chapel of the Holy Cross. Knowledgeable guides like Jenny and Richard provide insightful commentary, making the journey not only informative but also enjoyable. Whether it's a thrilling ride or discovering hidden gems, these tours promise unforgettable moments that will leave you wanting to return for more.
My wife and I did two half day tours (Alstrom Point & Wire Pass Buckskin Gulch Slot Canyon) with Jenny on back to back days spending a total of about 11 hours with her. She is a wonderful, personable, charismatic lady who is also a skilled and knowledgeable guide. Both tours were spectacular and we had an amazing time... and compared to the competition...they were also great values. We not only had a wonderful time, it felt like we made a new friend as well. We can't recommend Jenny and Orange Jeep Tours more highly!

We had such a wonderful time on our trip with Big Orange Jeep Tours! Jenny was very knowledgeable about the area and showed us around to some unbelievable landscapes up in Page Arizona. We can't wait to come back and share this experience with our friends and family.

We had the best time on our Big Orange Jeep Tour! The jeeps were super fun and easily handled some pretty pretty rocky terrain. Our guide, Jenny was fantastic. She was knowledgeable and kept my daughter smiling the entire time. The views with the sun coming up were some of the best I've ever seen. I highly recommend the tour- I'll probably go again when my parents come to town.

Richard, our tour guide, was super friendly and knowledgable. He really went above and beyond to share with us the history of Page, AZ, as well as the local gems. We toured the Skylight Arch and nearby Hoodoos. We definitely would not have know about these places without taking the tour, nor would our car have made it up that hill.

My wife and I took a tour today in Page Arizona with Jenny as part of our 40th wedding anniversary trip.. She was an awesome tour guide! It was a beautiful tour, and Jenny added a lot of knowledge about the area to the tour. She is very personable and customer oriented on the tour. I appreciated her perspective about the Lake Powell and Page Arizona areas. Very informative! Highly recommend!
Rick M — Google review
This was such an amazing experience!! First, we decided to do the tour kind of last minute and thankfully she was able to squeeze us into her schedule. Yes, the Jeep is orange, and big, and very cool. Jenny was our guide and let me tell you, this lady knows her stuff. She gave us great history and information about the areas and the rocks and how they were formed. We were able to see the Starlight Arch and the hoodoos up near Studhorse point. The views from up there were spectacular! You could see for miles in either direction!! Not only did Jenny keep us entertained throughout our tour, but she was able to make suggestions for other places to hike/visit and great food recommendations in town as well!! We actually ran into her at one of those recommendations later in the week. I would recommend Big Orange Jeep Tours to all of my friends that visit the area!!
Adrienna C — Google review
We were in Page for just a day and wanted to do a quick tour, Jenny was so accommodating and was able to get us on a tour of the skylight arch and hoodoos in the morning, and we got done before it got too hot. She provided umbrellas, which really helped with the early morning sun and helped keep us cool. She brought extra water when we were walking about and cold drinks/snacks were available when we got back to the jeep. Jenny had a lot of knowledge about the Page area, and the area we were exploring. She helped with photos and knew the best places to take memorable photos. We are planning to return to the Page area on another trip and look forward to exploring something new the area with Big Orange Jeeps!
Meghan D — Google review
Awesome experience on the tour to the arch. Stumbled upon this company after our kayaking trip into Antelope Canyon was canceled due to wind. Jenny was very knowledgeable about the area and the views were amazing. So glad we were able to do a tour even though we booked the night before. Highly recommend, if we are in the area again we will definitely book another tour experience to a different location.
