The Frying Pan Inn is a charming pub located in the heart of Falls Creek's Village Bowl, offering a delightful selection of classic craft beers and delicious barbeque-style dishes. The rustic-inspired atmosphere adds to the dining experience, while the adjacent bakery provides convenient breakfast options and delectable treats. Visitors rave about the mouthwatering pork ribs, crispy chips, and charred broccoli, followed by indulgent desserts like sticky date pudding.
Great cozy restaurant with such a variety of food options. The food was really great and the portions are really generous. The staff is really lovely and service is super fast in comparison to the people they were serving on the night. One of the only few places open in off peak autumn season when we visited. Highly recommend this place.

Went to the frying pan inn 3 nights in a row, was soo worth it everytime. Got the lamb backstrap everytime, was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend

Food and atmosphere were great. The ribs fell of the bone and melted in your mouth, the popcorn shrimp had a really nice spice and the vegie burger looked great. Ordering via QR code is quick and easy but would be better if it included drinks as well. For some reason our table was the only one without a bottle of water already on it and we had to get our own from the bar. We had an early booking but it was already getting very busy, seems like it attracts big groups.

Amazing atmosphere! Cozy feel with a side of delicious food too, Definitely worth coming to if u need a break from the slopes.

Wow! What a feast!! Food, service and atmosphere all 10/10
Mitchell R — Google review
Would give this place 6 stars for atmosphere if we could! It felt like something out of a movie!!! Food was fantastic - we had someone with coeliacs in our group and he was really well catered for and felt very comfortable eating there. I made an error with our dinner booking on the first night (I didn’t realise I hadn’t actually submitted it) but the staff were so friendly and kind and let us sit in the front bar. We loved it so much we went back for lunch the next day.

Fryers is awesome! The renewal of this fall’s creek institution since Traverse Alpine Group took over has been an excellent. Can’t fault the food, the atmosphere or the beverages. Great pub
Nyree F — Google review
The melts-in-your-mouth pork ribs were a true delight, perfectly complemented by the crunchy chips. The charred broccoli added a healthy and flavorful touch to the meal. And to top it off, the sticky date pudding was an absolute indulgence. What made the evening even more memorable was a breathtaking Falls Creek resort Thursday fireworks display right next to Frying Pan. The combination of fantastic food and a front-row seat to the fireworks made this an unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommended!

Cloud 9 Falls Creek is a top-notch on-snow food and beverage destination located at the peak of Halley's Comet chairlift. This beautifully refurbished venue offers a variety of options, from breakfast waffles and barista-made coffee to delicious cocktails and local beers. The Mezzanine Bar provides a cozy spot to relax and enjoy the stunning views. With vegan options available, such as roasted winter vegetables and pumpkin soup, Cloud 9 caters to all patrons.
We love Cloud 9. It’s such a traditional part of any trip to Falls Creek. The hot chocolates were awesome but in high demand during peak times and the food was really tasty. There were a few gluten free options but they were not coeliac safe. I took the risk and it was a poor decision. Won’t stop me going back! I’ve eaten there safely before so just a cross contamination risk. I would recommend a visit to anyone coming here.
Kathryn B — Google review
So average. $25 for a burger and no fries… guys cmon that is ridiculous. AND not to mention the renovations - let’s talk about it, you go to other restaurants on the mountain and they have heaters for people to dry their clothes… instead we’re all just leaving wet clothes on tables and chairs. Money grab mountain that’s what snow resorts are at this point. Nice to see other places not like this but nothing special to see here
Raquel — Google review
Excellent views to sit down and have a meal. We tried chips, sausage roll, pizza and pasta. It's probably an under statement to call it overpriced. Understand the business is seasonal, you need to hire seasonal staff and have to handle logistics of bringing food. But $19 for a bowl of chips, $17 for a sausage roll, ~$35 each for a small Pizza and bowl of pasta is just robbery. After all that, nothing is edible except for chips. Under cooked pizza had to be binned. Pasta is filled with olive oil. Everything is so bland and flavourless. I'll recommend other to go here for views but don't pay for any food. Just not at all worth it.
Harsha P — Google review
You delivered our pizza to the wrong table, and when we finally got it (due to the people at the other table realising it) it was no longer hot. Also, you hadn’t cut the pizza into slices. Your app sucks because it doesn’t list the phone international code for Singapore in alphabetical order, so it slowed down our order process. Duh! Lastly, please don’t guilt trip people into leaving a tip BEFORE we even experience the food and service. That’s ridiculous.
Andy K — Google review
As to be expected for a mountain venue it is massively overpriced, and food quality is average. Most disappointing though is that for a newly renovated space it’s grotty, and would benefit from some staff to wipe down tables and keep the place tidy. There’s also a huge underutilisation of space and insufficient seating, and the staff here very apparently would rather be pushing forks into their eyeballs than serving patrons with any kind of pleasantry.
Daniel B — Google review
You’d expect a newly renovated venue to make a great impression for a grand re-opening — but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The place looked messy, with sticky tables and dirty plates and cups left sitting around everywhere. We were there for over an hour and didn’t see a single staff member tidying anything up. They really need to hire more staff to clean up.
Scott J — Google review
Was a very busy place, food is very expensive but it was tasty, got the chicken burger and sausage roll with coffees, was all good tasting just very overpriced.
Sam B — Google review
The food is way overpriced making it beyond the average family to feed themselves let alone the kids. The new renovation is nice except they took out the heating and it is absolutely freezing in here everyone leaves their ski jackets on. The hot chocolate isn't hot. The beer is $18 a pint, a sausage roll is $17, and a pizza is $36. For a size that would only feed 1 person. Highly recommended that you find a nice warm restaurant or bar in the Falls Village bowl and eat there. Else it will cost you $1000 for lunch for the week.

BMX park
The Falls Creek Mountain Bike Park, a renowned BMX park, offers an exhilarating outdoor experience for mountain biking enthusiasts. Situated in a picturesque location, this popular bike park is known for its challenging trails and thrilling descents. The park boasts an array of diverse tracks that cater to riders of all skill levels.
We visited here late April looking to get a taste of the trails. Unfortunately the shuttles weren’t running. They closed for the season April 19. I can understand why, it was 6 degrees feeling like 3 in the wind. So we opted to do a small loop close to the main complex up there. We found the bike in the main car park easily enough but actually getting to the trails was a different story. We decided to start with the Jumpstart/Vortex loop. We eventually found the start of the trail after walking our bikes up the stairs between Slalom Plaza and across the grass, but the directions could have been better at the trail hub. During the climb there were at least 3 occasions I had to stop at unmarked intersections and pull out my phone to check trail forks to see which way the trail went. Once we reached the top of jumpstart, which due to no signs, was confirmed by trail forks and we then had to look for Vortex. There were no signs whatsoever at the end of Jumpstart and the start of Vortex, or the other climbing trail the Generator. Without trail forks you would get lost good enough for a mountain bike park. I then went to look for the Flowtown trail and again struggled to find it as there were no signs at all from the road of even at the trail head. Nothing. I had to use trail forks again and loop behind a building and up over a small hill to find the trail head. There was even a fancy big sign roadside with a MTB’er on it but nothing to say to this way for Flowtown. The first flowtown sign I was at the 2 km mark. So look the trails were pretty good. Jumpstart was a bit rocky but suitably graded as a blue climb, Vortex was a fun decent, but rocky also. Flowtown was fun but rocky in places but nothing the 29er couldn’t handle with ease with its 140mm dual suspension. It was much rockier than say the flow trails at Mystic MTB park in Bright, those flow trails like Flowmingo and Hero are pure flow trails and an absolute joy that make you want to session them all day..and the next day. Once I finish Flowtown, I enjoyed it, but wasn’t interested in doing it again.

Waterfalls
Fainter Falls is a stunning natural gem that promises an enchanting experience for those willing to embark on a short trek. The journey begins with a 700-meter walk along a narrow path, where you’ll encounter some steep steps that may challenge your stamina but ultimately lead you closer to the breathtaking waterfall. For those who prefer a more leisurely visit, there’s also a viewing platform just 30 meters past these steps, offering a decent view of the falls without the strenuous climb.
Great little waterfall off the side of the road, hike was short. Don't recommend if you got bad knees. View was amazing, if you can I recommend walking the additional 200meters for another great view down the same trail.
Anthony H — Google review
About 700m walk through the forest. But the view of the falls are rewarding. The hike is not very tough on a sunny day, but during wet weather may pose some challenges. Roadaide parking available.
Ishtiaque M — Google review
It is a 700 metre walk to the Falls viewing platform. You get a sneak peak at a midway platform. The reveal of the falls as you round the boulder is great. Go the extra 200 metres - down the stairs, across the bridge and up the stairs - to reach the bottom of the Falls.
Lin E — Google review
Beautiful fall and easy walk. Not many steep areas except the stairs going down to the riverside.
Momo C — Google review
A beautiful waterfall nestled amongst the ferns. Even though the rest of Victoria is currently very dry, this waterfall is still flowing. The trail starts across the road from the parking area and it only takes 10-20 minutes to reach the falls. There are no facilities here.
Nathan D — Google review
Only a short easy walk to get to these falls. There is a lookout but it is well worth the effort to follow the steps further to reach the base of the waterfall. A beautiful sight.
Ian F — Google review
A narrow but easy 1km walk to spectacular waterfall and river scenes. Includes steep steps but very manageable for most people. Highly recommended experience when visiting Victoria's High Country.
James D — Google review
Lovely waterfall only a 700m walk from the road. Some sections are a bit tight so you have to walk single file. Last few metres down are a bit steep and will get the heart rate going for those who are not used to walking/exercising!

Scenic spot
Rocky Valley Dam, located in Falls Creek, Victoria, offers a 21 km trail that leads around the reservoir and to old stockmen's huts scattered across the alpine landscape. These huts are remnants of the days when cattle were driven onto the high plains in summertime. The area also features 4,500 beds in lodges and other accommodations at Falls Creek. The drive to Rocky Valley Dam from Bright offers stunning views and numerous scenic spots, especially in Bogong.

Snonuts Donuts is a popular spot located in Slalom Plaza, offering a variety of freshly baked treats such as cinnamon doughnuts, jam doughnuts, and churros. In addition to sweet options, they also serve savory snacks like loaded spuds, toasties, and crepes. Customers can indulge in their hot cinnamon-dusted doughnuts or opt for the extra indulgence of having them drenched in molten Nutella.
The hot and fluffy cinnamon doughts were exactly what I needed on a cold, frosty day. The doughnuts were delicious, and the staff were super friendly. I'd highly recommend the cinnamon flavour doughnuts.
Vanessa W — Google review
How can a seemingly fresh jam donut, straight out of the deep fryer be so hard and stale? Definitely not cooked fresh. I tried the cinnamon donuts on my last visit and they were not lovely and fat and were also expensive. I would not recommend any of their donuts, they are just not good. I won’t be going for a third try.

Nestled in the picturesque Falls Creek, Feathertop Alpine Lodge is a charming retreat that captures the essence of winter. The lodge features a cozy log fireplace that serves as its heart, inviting guests to unwind and enjoy the stunning views from one of the highest points in the village. The on-site restaurant takes pride in offering modern Australian cuisine made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Stopped in for dinner and was not disappointed! Exceptional food (the duck was fantastic), and the drinks and service were top tier. Really friendly atmosphere and Geronimo behind the bar was an absolute joy. My partner and I both had the 3 course dinner. Every single thing was wonderful and all for what we deemed a very reasonable price. Followed it up with a couple of drinks by the fire and some delightful conversation with Steven and the staff. We will be back next season for sure!
Keegan B — Google review
For first time skiers and snow adventurers, Feathertop was the perfect spot for my wife and I. They honestly make you feel like family and close friends, no tacky hotel vibes. The most perfectly cosy woodfire heated dining room with amazing food and wine. Steve and Danielle really made our experience so wonderful. Can’t wait to return next winter.

Feathertop is the place to stay if you’re going to Falls Creek. You will arrive to a beautiful lodge with a fireplace and comfortable warm rooms. Dannie and Steven are lovely and hospitable. Meals are great and everything there’s just a vibe. Excellent customer service from the rest of the team too. Very convenient location for skiing. Highly recommend!! Cute pups are always a bonus - Ginger & Pepper

This was our second trip to Feathertop Lodge. And we had another amazing experience, hosted by the very thoughtful and welcoming Bondy and Dannie. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The bar and restaurant are a standout - a great vibe, delicious food, wine and cocktails. The whole team made our stay so special. We almost felt like part of the family with their welcoming hospitality. Thanks so much.

This was our first trip to falls and was a little bit last minute but we were lucky enough to stay at Feathertop and it was so amazing! The moment we arrived it felt like home, the atmosphere the owners have created is really amazing, it is cozy, warm, friendly and just so inviting. We can't wait to come back next snow season and stay for even longer. Thank you for creating such an amazing place that is so warm and inviting!

I recently dined in the restaurant with friends, and it was amazing. We shared three courses, and every single one was exceptional. The quince ice cream with Swiss cheese and nuts all put together was outstanding. (I know, it sounds weird, but it works) The wait staff and chef should be commended for their work. Highly recommend it if you are staying in the resort.

My stay at Feathertop Lodge could not have been nicer! The friendly and accommodating owners, their staff, their dogs and the location made my stay memorable, fun and convenient. The food was next level! Having the in-house bar and restaurant added an unexpected element to my stay. Many skiers who were not staying at the lodge stopped in regularly, which was great fun. The atmosphere was social and welcoming.

Nestled in the heart of Falls Creek, Huski Kitchen is a culinary gem that beckons food lovers with its vibrant South East Asian offerings. This charming eatery has returned for 2022, bringing back beloved favorites alongside exciting new dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. With an all-day dining menu that includes everything from hearty breakfasts to delightful lunch and dinner options, it’s the perfect spot for a leisurely meal or a fun gathering with friends.
If you're in FallsCreek and are yet to visit Huski Kitchen ,know that this is a restaurant worth travelling for. Fried rice is the best I have ever had. I will recommend this place!

Had a lovely dinner at Huski in Falls Creek. The service was outstanding – a big thank you to Maddie for being so warm and attentive. The menu is well set up with a great variety, and every dish we had was full of flavour and beautifully presented. Great food, great value, and a perfect spot to relax after a day on the slopes. Dear but delicious. Would highly recommend dining here when you visit Falls Creek. The food was amazing and the cocktails were very fancy. We got the Feeling Chilli option for our group and my word were we treated. From king fish to chu chi chicken with prawn crackers, onto the mains with an assortment of curries and delicious pad thai. We didn’t think we could fit dessert in but it too was too good to turn down.
Kaspar — Google review
I’d heard great things about Huski, but it didn’t quite meet expectations. The layout felt disjointed and lacked flow, and the overall atmosphere came across as more casual and a bit cheap rather than the polished dining experience I was hoping for. The food was average — nothing really stood out. One of the staff was friendly, but kept calling us “darling,” which felt a bit over-familiar and unprofessional.
Jodi J — Google review
Caught our attention while walking past and decided to stop in for lunch. We were probably lucky to get a table straight away but it would have been worth waiting. Both the Ramen options were delicious and so were the pork dumblings. Next time would definitely order more dumblings instead of the fried chicken. Staff were great and it was nice being able to watch the kitchen make our meal. If you're into cocktails, there were some really interesting ones to try.
Andrew M — Google review
Nice venue with excellent cocktails. Recommend their daiquiri for anyone looking for a quirky but sophisticated rum option. Most cocktails on the menu go on special for their happy hours, but it's also worth trying the two that don't. The Sesame Boulevardier for anyone up for some culinary theater, the Firecracker if you want a fun riff on a Margarita.
N W — Google review
Predominantly asian fusion cuisine with generous food portions. The pad thai and pad see ew were pretty filling. Enjoyed the sweet and sour pork & fried chicken entre. The cocktail drinks were great and would recommend the current lychee cocktail!

Nestled in the Australian high country, Summit Ridge offers a cozy wood and stone lodge with simple quarters and stunning mountain views. The lodge features a renowned restaurant that has gained recognition as the best dining spot in the mountains. The European-leaning menu combines cold-weather classics with modern additions, accompanied by an extensive wine list. With its warm ambiance and open fire, it's perfect for special occasions. The recently upgraded suites and new management ensure a true mountain lodge experience.
After completing the grueling 3 Peaks Challenge, my friends and I gathered at this cozy restaurant in Summit Ridge, and what an absolute treat it was! The place is run by the loveliest couple, who welcomed us with warmth and served the most incredible homemade food. After such an intense race, this was exactly what we needed—wholesome, comforting, and made with love. Every bite was a reminder of home-cooked meals, and you could tell the food was prepared with care. I can’t even put into words how much we appreciated their hospitality. If you’re in the area, especially after an outdoor adventure, this restaurant is a must-visit. The best food you could ask for in a village setting, made by the kindest people. Highly recommended!

We had an exceptional dining experience! Opted for the 5-course degustation menu, which was beautifully curated and full of flavour. Each dish was thoughtfully presented and perfectly balanced. We also enjoyed a bottle of wine that paired wonderfully with the courses. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home throughout the evening. The ambiance was warm and elegant, adding to the overall experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable night out with amazing food and service

Perfect ski holiday location! Ann & Keith make your stay top notch with excellent communication starting with the booking process to a warm welcome upon arrival and continuous hospitality throughout your stay. The room was absolutely lovely with modern roomy bathroom, comfy king bed in the mezzanine, beautiful view of the slopes and plenty of room for the couch to fold out onto a double bed for our son. There is a lovely communal area with games & TV to hang out by the rooms or you can opt to go down into the cosy sitting area in the restaurant which has a lovely fireplace. We booked a 30 minute slot each day to sit in the spa and sauna after our day on the slopes. We found the accommodation ski track to end in front of Summit Ridge to make it an easy end to the day. The breakfast included was a hot yummy breakfast with lots of options & a wonderful coffee machine that made everyone happy in our group. We enjoyed a beautiful meal at the restaurant one night and even got to do a wine tasting on another. Thank you Summit Ridge for making our annual trip to Falls Creek the best one yet & look forward to seeing you next year!

We ‘found’ Summit Ridge last year as it serves possibly the best dinner at Falls Creek. This year we stayed. Great decision! Anne & Keith are great hosts and their staff are equally friendly. The rooms are well appointed; and the location is so central. A short walk to all the best venues. And provided the snow lasts… it’s ski in / ski out!

Amazing fine dining experience with beautifully presented and delicious dishes. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered a bottle of wine—usually in fine dining, the staff regularly top up your glass, but in this case, we had to do it ourselves. Aside from that, everything we ordered was absolutely delightful, dessert were so nicevthat i forgot to take photos and you see the empty dish 😂

Had the pleasure to stay and dine at Summit Ridge. The hospitality is above and beyond. Anne and Keith made sure I felt welcomed and at home. Breakfast is amazing, in particular the house made berry compote to have with your pancakes or yoghurt. Then the dining experience in the restaurant; food is best on the hill, very reasonably priced and full of flavor. Portion sizes are very generous, exactly what you need after a day of skiing/ snowboarding. My personal favorites: beef carpaccio, kingfish, lamb and the creme brûlée. Can highly recommend opting in for the 5 course degustation with premium wine paring as you get to drink some amazing wines! Service is 10/10

We had a great time staying, the room is clean, warm and cozy. The lodge is well provided. It was comfy to stay in even when the blizzard is on. The food is a bit pricey and takes a while to serve in the restaurant. The breakfast was great too. Only 15min walk to the central lift, or can catch a free shuttle bus.
