French Riviera - Cote d'Azur

The French Riviera (or Côte d'Azur) is the Mediterranean coast of southeastern France. It includes famously glamorous beach resorts such as Saint-Tropez and Cannes, and the independent microstate of Monaco. A health retreat in the 18th century, the area later attracted aristocrats, artists and the 1960s "jet set." Today it’s an established holiday destination, with paths connecting many coastal villages and towns.

La Vague d'Or is a renowned restaurant located at the Cheval Blanc St. Tropez, offering a dining experience that celebrates the bounties of the sea. Chef Arnaud Dockele's passion for the region shines through in his creative dishes such as spider crab in a citrus bath, verbena-infused bouillon, and abalone with locally grown onions.
27th stop in my Michelin 3 Stars Marathon in France. Follow me for updates and more reviews. The intellectual, the poet and the actor. So what’s extraordinary here? It’s a 3 stars, you should expect no less. Well, first of all, it’s a notch above extraordinary like all the Cheval Blanc. A lot to say but I’ll limit to 3 points The first two are actually the tension between the intellectual side and the emotional side. The chef Arnaud Donckele is the extremely well known for his dedication to sauces, and bringing them back to the forefront. But something was still bugging me: reducing (no pun intended) him to the superstar of the sauce was missing the point. Until I came to this Cheval Blanc. Here you can see how his intellectual part pushes him to look (dig, extract, isolate, magnify) for the essences and how a romantic part uses it not only to express, but also even fuel, his emotions. He’s like a Nerd in love. When they are, and when they manage to express their emotions correctly, they can conquer any heart because they turn the loved object in something even more sublime. He’s expressing himself correctly… and this Romantic side is perfect with the location, bringing back to Saint Tropez the intellectual and the freshness of the late 50s, without the bling. What’s in it for you? A very refined, diverse and yet coherent cuisine. But this will not be complete without mentioning Thierry Di Tullio. Gastronomy is closer to the living arts than any other art. You have the chef that is the author and very often the director, and then the producers (literally), the brigade who every night put a bit of their souls into making a recipe a reality, etc… The dining room is where you have the actors, forming a band. They will play their roles, with their personal touches and sensibilities, to you, dear reader and spectator. A plate without a good service, is like a script without a voice : Some great material. Thierry Di Tullio, the maître d’hôtel, is an actor, is an artist. The mood was chic and suave. I’ve seen friends, family and couples. I was alone but with total fullness enjoying the view, the cuisine, the moment. Some may call this Plenitude. A top tiers 3 stars. I barely can wait to come back.

Dining at Le Vague d’Or is not just a meal—it’s a journey through the sun-drenched soul of Provence, elevated to an art form. Chef Arnaud Donckele masterfully weaves together local ingredients, poetic storytelling, and precise technique to create a once-in-a-lifetime gastronomic experience. From the moment you're greeted, the service is impeccable: warm, intuitive, and deeply knowledgeable. The setting, overlooking the sparkling bay of Saint-Tropez, adds a serene luxury that sets the tone for the evening. The tasting menu is where Donckele’s genius shines brightest. Each course arrives with a narrative—evoking the sea, the hills, the gardens of the region. Sauces are the soul of the cuisine here: intensely flavorful, refined, and central to each dish's identity. Standouts might include Mediterranean langoustines bathed in a fragrant consommé or lamb from the Alpilles, slow-cooked and served with a jus so rich and complex it feels orchestral. The wine pairings, curated with deep respect for terroir, are bold yet precise, with a focus on lesser-known Provencal vintages that surprise and delight. Prices are in line with the exceptional quality and the Michelin recognition, but this is not simply an expensive dinner—it’s a culinary pilgrimage. For those who seek more than food, and instead crave emotion, memory, and beauty on a plate, Le Vague d’Or delivers with quiet grandeur.

One of the finest French Riviera restaurant, in a classy and elegant Hotel. The personnel is very nice, welcoming and professional. The cuisine is refined and delicate, keeping Mediterranean flavours.

One of the very best. We felt like royalty here. Food was mind blowing. Service was the best in France. Setting like a dream.

It’s the first ever restaurant that made me emotional. The staff were so beautiful (inside and outside), I have a special appreciation for fashion and La Vague D’or was over the standard. The food was exceptional - the explosion of the aroma when the plate arrives in our table, my god, it was intense. Special shoutout to the sauces! I felt like I was in a dream during my experience because it is just not realistic. I cannot believe this restaurant is real! Like I said, it was the first restaurant that made me cry because of how adorable staff were. Immense thank you for showing me love, I would recommend you in a heartbeat. If there is a single human being who says they were never happy in this restaurant, I would truly doubt their mental health, they would have to be dead inside. I love you all, thank YOU!

La Vague d’Or Saint‑Tropez so good, stands as a culinary pilgrimage on the Côte d’Azur a perfect fusion of sea-breeze ambiance, technical mastery, and pure Mediterranean soul. For those seeking an unforgettable, high-caliber dining moment in a sun‑soaked setting, it remains one of the world’s finest.

One of the most remarkable dining experiences on the French Riviera, located inside a hotel that radiates class and timeless elegance. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere feels both refined and inviting, with a perfect balance between sophistication and comfort. The staff deserves special mention – always warm, genuinely welcoming, and highly professional, making you feel cared for without ever being intrusive. The cuisine is exceptional, combining delicate presentation with authentic Mediterranean flavors that stay true to tradition while adding a touch of creativity. Every dish is carefully crafted, highlighting fresh ingredients and a thoughtful balance of taste and texture. Whether it’s seafood, meat, or vegetarian options, each plate feels like a celebration of the region’s culinary heritage. The ambiance, service, and food together create a complete experience – not just a meal, but an elegant journey through Mediterranean culture and hospitality. A place that leaves a lasting impression and makes you want to return again and again.

In the heart of Saint-Tropez, beneath the golden light of Provence, La Vague d’Or offered me a fairytale. Each dish was a poem, every sauce a melody… the harmony of flavors became a gentle symphony that touched my soul. Chef Arnaud Donckele’s artistry brought the spirit of the sea and the sun to the table, while the service team turned each moment into grace and elegance. This was not just a dinner, but a timeless journey—an enchanted memory forever sealed in my heart. Truly the most beautiful souvenir of Saint-Tropez. 🌸✨

Restaurant Mirazur is a renowned hillside dining spot in Menton, France, offering a sophisticated atmosphere and stunning sea views. The restaurant boasts a creative fixed-price menu crafted by Chef Mauro Colagreco, who has earned three Michelin stars. Known for his innovative approach to cooking, Colagreco sources ingredients from the on-site vegetable garden to create dishes that are often described as intense and expressive.
Mirazur definitely deserves 3 Michelin stars. This is the best restaurant I have ever been to. Getting 3 Michelin stars is not only about the food, Mirazur has a philosophy behind it's changing menu. The vegetables are the stars of the dishes and you can enjoy the best quality of veggies, especially the beets. Servers are pleasant, well informed and very professional while being friendly at the same time. Several dishes were made at the table which added beauty to this experience.

First time visiting a Michelin star restaurant. It was a decent experience. We had a larger group so we got the large table right beside the kitchen. Although it was nice to see the action, it was very loud and chaotic. I liked half of the courses served, there was more than enough food, along with their homemade bread and butter that is unlimited. Did not care much for the wine pairing, all in all, was an okay experience. The service was good, however it felt a bit rushed with servers taking away multiple plates as we were eating. There was a lot of distracting movement, along with the level of noise, made for an extremely overwhelming environment. My favourite part of the meal would probably be the desserts, they were unique and refreshing. Don’t think it’s worth the amount of money per person, I think you pay for the view, service and prestige.
Helen Z — Google review
Ok first big minus point is that the garden tour was canceled a week before. To me it was important as last year we were celebrating in L‘arpege and this would fit nicely into the tradition. Apologies like a mailbox rephrasing what you wrote. Not even a drink offered. Food: it’s blind tasting. I don’t eat inner parts of the animals and yes I should have known it’s French. Anyway, the presentation of the dishes was great. I am super sorry the theme was somehow ginger because ginger has a very strong taste that always dominated and just not everybody’s favorite . The duck dish really bad. The next table to us refused to eat. Desert was great but rather less sophisticated. The red wines by the glass not so amazing. All in all yes it was an experience but if I knew in advance, I would book something else.

We had a lovely experience at Mirazur. The staff was welcoming and attentive without being over-involved or hovering. But the biggest commotion is for the food. Every dish was thoughtfully designed with the season in mind, and the execution was flawless. We were delighted by the details and found something we loved about each plate. They also have an extensive wine list and great options for those who do not imbibe. All this, with a sweeping view of the riviera towards and beyond Menton. A must-visit.
Alyssa J — Google review
I’ll start with the positive since it will be a much shorter list. Our main server was very nice, there were some good dishes like the duck and pepper, raspberry dessert and chantilly. That’s more or less it. First off, their patio should not exist. The seating is next to the street and the entire time you hear garbage trucks and motorcycles. There’s also mosquitoes and flies around the entire time. You’re also staring into the restaurant, which is the better seating, or the stairs to the bathroom. When we got seated I asked if we could switch inside and was told they’d let me know if a table opens up. Now, no table opened up because the restaurant was fully booked, so not sure why the manager said that when he could have just said it was not possible. The food is trying too much in some aspects or the flavors are not the best together. We went to a 2 star restaurant the night before and comparing the two was night and day. There was also a couple in the restaurant taking flash photography throughout the entire night and they never asked them to stop. We asked them if they can tell them too because we were both seeing stars from how bright the photography is. I have never been to a Michelin restaurant that allows this. Overall, the meal felt extremely imbalanced as there were ~7 food courses and then 5 dessert courses. The food was generally fine but the atmosphere and experience were underwhelming.

I really enjoyed my experience at Mirazur! What made this place stand out from other three Michelin places were its unique concept, stunning views, and immaculate attention to fine details - from the plating and subtle flavors to thoughtful touches like a coffee table book about the restaurant placed at my table, as I came in by myself. Through the book, I learned more about Mauro Colagreco’s generous spirit, and have heard other chefs mention how he encouraged them when they received their first star. I found these details, the restaurant’s mission and the fact that the sweeping views are shared by both guests and kitchen staff all very heartwarming and awesome! Highly recommend!

The seventh 3-star Michelin restaurant on this trip to France. There were high expectations and a complete disappointment in the end. Atmosphere: You are greeted by a friendly administrator who takes you to a table. After 10 minutes you begin to understand that you cannot hear what the person sitting next to you is saying. I also didn't hear half of what the waiter was telling me. You have to strain and raise your voice. The hall is too small and the tables are as close to each other as possible. Another half hour later, your head starts to hurt from the noise around you, everyone is talking and quite loudly. It's like a lunch break in the workers' canteen. This is definitely something you don't expect from a restaurant of this level. We had to move to the street. Where the table was one meter from the roadway. But the noise of cars passing right next to you no longer seemed so loud. Service: The first waiters seemed involved, no complaints about them, but the waiter who continued serving us outside simply did his job with the monotony of a robot. It was especially interesting when he asked whether we should bring all three desserts at once or serve them one by one. Apparently, we really got on the nerves of this establishment. This is how dishes should be served in a three-star restaurant. Next time, you better bring out everything that is ready to the table at once. Of course, it's a separate entertainment to watch how cutlery is placed on a dirty table without a tablecloth outside (there are no problems with the tablecloth, but there is a problem that there are stains from dust and grease on the table what less in 1 meter from road). Food: I can't say anything really bad about the food, some of the combinations were interesting. The lobster on a vanilla stick was very good. But most of the dishes just lacked flavor. They didn't evoke any emotion. Not bad? Yes. But nothing more. It's not the same feeling when you leave a restaurant and your taste buds explode. As is usually the case in restaurants of this level. When you go to a 3 star you expect to have a dining experience that consists of three components: a pleasant relaxing atmosphere, attentive service that anticipates your needs and delicious food that makes you close your eyes in pleasure. This restaurant has none of these. We sincerely do not understand how this restaurant received its three stars and was recognized as the best in the world. Of the seven 3-star restaurants we've visited in the last three weeks, this one on 7 place. My advice is don't waste your time, it will just be a ruined evening.

When it comes to world-class dining experiences, Mirazur is at the top of our list for charm and culinary magic. Stunning setting in the picturesque French Riviera in Menton, this Michelin three-star gem is worth visiting. Prior to our meal we had a tour of the gardens and sustainable practices that inform the Mirazur menu. Depending on the time of year you visit, you will experience the Mirazur Universe in one of four variations: roots, leaves, flowers, fruits. Our visit correlated with Mirazur Leaves Universe: a journey guided by the movement of sap in plants. It was incredible. The cheese cart was art! We had a wonderful experience, highly recommend

Le Chantecler is a renowned restaurant located at the iconic Negresco Hotel in Nice, which has been recognized as the best restaurant in the city by the prestigious Michelin Guide. The restaurant boasts an opulent 18th-century decor with elegant dining rooms featuring wood paneling, damask curtains, and pink upholstery that exude a regal ambiance dating back to 1913.
Exceptional Dining Experience. The restaurant offers a wonderful ambiance and a very welcoming team. Our four-hour meal was a journey through beautifully prepared dishes. The ingredient combinations were both surprising and delightful. Our group sampled the a la carte menu, the 8-course tasting menu, and the 5-course tasting menu. The pacing of each course and the palate cleansers in between were well-timed. The staff ensured everyone felt included by offering extra small plates to those with fewer courses. The unexpected birthday desserts at the end were a delicious surprise. I would certainly recommend this Michelin-starred restaurant.

My husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at Le Chantecler and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. We opted for the 5-course "Chant des Saveurs" menu and every dish was a delight. The service was excellent from start to finish, with attentive and knowledgeable staff. The wine pairings were very well-chosen and complemented each course perfectly. A special highlight of the evening was when the piano player was kind enough to play one of our wedding songs for us. It made the celebration even more personal and memorable. We had heard some mixed reviews about the food, but we completely disagree. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We found the flavors to be sophisticated and unique, and it's clear the chef and her team are incredibly talented. I suppose it's true what they say: to each their own! The atmosphere was elegant and the attention to detail was impeccable, even down to the clean and well-maintained restroom facilities. We highly recommend Le Chantecler for a special occasion. It was a perfect evening and we will cherish the memory of our anniversary dinner there.
Chona H — Google review
Overall I had a good experience at the Chantecler. My husband and I dined there while visiting Nice in July, 2025. We arrived early for our reservation and were graciously welcomed into the restaurant. We chose to go with the chef's choice 8 course tasting menu and wine pairings. The meal was mostly spectacular with some of the highlights being the marvelous bread service, the duck and beetroot dish, the trout and caviar(my husband had this dish), the veal sweetbread dish, the CHEESE oh my god the CHEESE!, as well as the olive oil and orange blossom ice cream dish. Another stand out experience there was the sommelier and his wine pairings. You could tell he had extreme passion and expertise for his profession, and took a lot of thought and care in choosing the perfect wines to pair with our meal. I absolutely loved the fortified wine that he siphoned from a large jug, it was such fun! There were however a few things that detracted from the experience which is why I gave them only 4 stars. The first being that I immediately informed them that I do not eat any seafood, and the first "surprise" that they sent out was little bites with things like trout and anchovies in them. I know that this was not officially part of what we ordered, but it did make me feel uncomfortable not eating them and they did not remove them from the table for at least two courses following that and it just felt wrong. The second item that really took away from the experience was the music. They had a pianist playing throughout our meal and he was playing American pop music from the 70s-90s. It was cringeworthy to be eating in such an opulent restaurant and then having Billy Joel songs or My Heart Will Go On bridgerton style blasting into the dining room. For a long time it was all we could talk about during our meal and it was super distracting. I think classical music or jazz would have been less tacky. Finally was the restroom situation. You had to exit the restaurant, walk upstairs, and then when you entered the ladies room you were greeted with an odd airport style toilet in the stall. It was bizarre, and I have certainly been in more luxurious bathrooms in less luxurious restaurants. It was particularly annoying because during a lengthy 4 hour meal, you may need to use the bathroom more than once. Our bill came to right around 1300 euros, and you would expect perfection at that price point. They came a little short of perfection. (side note, they had originally requested a review via tripadvisor, but when I attempted to post this exact review verbatim, it blocked me from posting it saying they do not accept vulgar language, but nothing in my review is vulgar. It seems like they pad their reviews on tripadvisor from speaking negatively about them.)
Jaquline K — Google review
We were slightly concerned going into the evening after reading some recent not flattering reviews but we are happy to report these concerns were misplaced. Our experience was exceptional in every way. This includes the food, wine the service, the piano music and even the bathroom. From the amuse-bouche to the mignardises with its happy wedding anniversary wishes, we enjoyed every dish on the 5 course menu. The young, enthusiastic staff took great care of us and we want to give special recognition to our adorable sommelier who was a joy to speak with. We did enjoy the pianist but can understand why some reviewers did not appreciate his selections. Actually you are provided with a list of popular songs to choose from for requests. It worked for us as the list included the song that was our first dance at our wedding, which again, we were celebrating the anniversary of. So we really enjoyed the music and it made the atmosphere more fun, less formal. The bathroom is up a stairway but it is an elegant stairway and we felt the bathrooms were quite nice. We are very happy we chose Le Chantecler and are looking forward to the day we can return.

Such a wonderful and memorable Michelin restaurant. We did the surprise menu and were not disappointed! Service was excellent and the live piano player was a great touch.

Lovely dining room. Part of the Negressco hotel. Service was good. The food is ok. I had the fish and I could not cut into it as it was too raw. I said it to the waiter who took it away and cooked it. He did say that it was meant to be cooked like that when I asked him what the chef said. Practically raw and inedible. I disagreed with him. I doubt the chef was there that evening. Below is a photo of my fish and a photo from another review I have used showing a lovely flakey fish!I wouldn’t go there again. I think the restaurant next door maybe better.

When you go to a Michelin restaurant you have many expectations and you will not be disappointed at all. Classic French historic environment from the moment you walk into the hotel and walk to the restaurant. From the amazing art work to the stunning restaurant awaits you. The food experience is second to none. We dined on Friday evening and just wanted to share the experience. Enjoy

Of the restaurants with one Michelin star, this one in Nice is the most expensive and it is located in one of the most prestigious hotels in the city. That is why I will be strict in my rating. 1.) Although the restaurant states on the website that the menu can change and everyone understands this, it is a shame that they do not update the menu change on the website. Even now, several days after our visit, the website still has a different menu than the one they gave us to choose from. I would expect from a 5-star hotel with the most expensive restaurant with 1 star that they know how to update their website effectively. We were looking forward to the testing menu, which was (and still is) listed on the website, but they had something different on offer. 2.) I was also surprised by the discrepancy in the information they send by email after confirming the reservation. The first email stated that the option to cancel a reservation free of charge is 24 hours before the date The next email, which came as a reminder of the reservation 24 hours before the date, now offers free cancellation of the reservation 48 hours before the date. I would recommend unifying this and I would also recommend updating the menu on the website. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we felt welcome. The environment is beautiful and as long as the staff can, they really try to satisfy the guests. However, if the staff can't, it makes it even worse. Example: My partner went to the toilet and in the meantime someone from the staff adjusted his towel and also opened the door to the toilet for him. When I went to the toilet, this didn't happen again. Nothing like that happened and I can open the door myself and I don't even have to have my towel folded, but here it was already felt that the staff couldn't keep up. Although at the beginning of the dinner they (by mistake) brought us a napkin for refreshments up to 2 times. We are not rich guests who drink the most expensive wine and cognac, but these are the details that we noticed. As for the food, we liked the attention we received at the beginning of the dinner the most. AMUSE BOUCHE. I believe that the restaurant has loyal returning guests who like exactly the style in which they cook in the restaurant. To us, the dishes seemed more impressively presented than delicious. With all due respect to the staff who tried, we enjoyed the ONICE and LES AGITATEURS restaurants more during our anniversary stay. In any case, we would like to thank all the staff for their effort and professionalism. We like to return to Nice every year for our anniversary, but if we were to go to LE CHANTECLER, it would only be if we knew the menu in advance. Kind regards

Le Figuier de Saint-Esprit is a traditional yet innovative restaurant located in the charming town of Antibes on the Cote d'Azur. Housed in a rustic Provencal-style country house, this one-Michelin-starred restaurant offers a gourmet dining experience with a passionate approach to Provencal ingredients and locally-sourced products.
A truly charming and elegant spot. The food was exceptional — every ingredient was fresh, refined, and perfectly balanced. You could really taste the quality in every bite. Atile, our waiter, provided outstanding service with professionalism and warmth. This experience absolutely lived up to its Michelin star — well-earned and well-deserved.

We went for the three-course lunch menu. The squid and both desserts were truly fantastic. The main courses were solid, but not spectacular. The fish was perfectly cooked but could have used a bit more spice. The duck was tender and the sauce was very aromatic but there were too many fruity and sweet components on the plate, at least for my taste. We were also a bit disappointed that there were no alcohol-free alternatives except organic juice (which tasted very nice though). Overall, a really nice lunch experience with very attentive service on a beautiful terrace.

The location and exemplary quality of cuisine takes it above its current Michelin rating. We had the degustation menu. Service is very good. I have never tasted turbot so delicious as this. Lamb is Chef Morisset’s specialty. That is a revelation.
Ed S — Google review
The service was absolutely terrible, and I strongly suspect the staff of discriminating against Asians. The amount of wine served to me was less than half of what other guests at nearby tables received. The staff did not bother to properly introduce the wine, explain the dishes, or the dessert. The food and drinks were rushed to my table, and the server left immediately without giving me a chance to process anything. Unlike their treatment of other guests, the server did not take the time to introduce the wine and dishes to me, nor did they ask if I was satisfied with the meal as they did with others. Now I want to make it clear: I am not satisfied!

the vintage style of michellin that I love. we had lunch and dinner in two days and it is simply excellent with short menu. turbot and st. pierre fish are excellent with truffle jus. they still follow old style pouring olive oil in your table which not many doing this today. the milk fed lamb is to die for. don’t forget they have a vast interesting wines list especially from provence region. white wines are well selected. we will come back for sure anytime in Antibes.

La Merenda is a renowned establishment in Nice, known for its traditional cuisine and cozy atmosphere. Chef Dominique Le Stanc, formerly of the prestigious Negresco restaurant, left behind his Michelin stars to focus on simple dishes made from fresh local produce. The rustic dining space offers a nostalgic experience while the ever-changing menu highlights the best ingredients from the French Riviera.
Wonderful experience at La Merenda. It's a small restaurant so reservations are recommended. We got the fried zucchini flowers, stuffed sardines, tripe, and pesto pasta. Everything was delicious. The pesto pasta was definitely the standout and one of our favorite dishes in France. It's pretty cool to see how the chefs work in such a cramped place but somehow it all works out great. Highly recommend if in Nice.

I would really put this dining experience amongst the top I’ve ever had. I’ve eaten at a lot of Michelin starred places, and to be honest I’m a bit fatigued with the pretension and over attention to precision. Eating here made my partner and I feel like we were eating at home. Not the connection to the actual dishes, but the love and care that went in to the food. And the tables being very close to one and other also felt like home. The food was amazing. None of it was less than excellent. Washing it all down with a few glasses of local wine was the cherry on top. Great service as well. Merveilleuse

You absolutely need a reservation The atmosphere is intimate and charming, a perfect backdrop for enjoying traditional Niçoise cooking. The pesto pasta was excellent, silky and rich, while the slow cooked beef stew was chewy though the meat itself was fairly standard. The potatoes served alongside absorbed the broth beautifully, soft and slightly mushy but full of flavor. Altogether its a place to enjoy simple, authentic cooking with care ideal for a date.

La Merenda is one of those rare places that stays with you long after you’ve left. Small and unpretentious, it serves the most authentic Niçoise cuisine — simple dishes prepared with honesty and care. There’s no printed menu, only a handwritten board, and the space is so intimate you end up sharing the atmosphere with locals and travelers alike. The service is warm, the setting unpolished yet charming, and together it all creates an experience that feels timeless. Eating at La Merenda is more than a meal — it’s a reminder of how beautiful simplicity can be.

This little gem was recommended to us and when i couldn’t get reservations for another week I knew it couldn’t be missed! It’s a small family run place with incredible heart and tastes of héritage! The open plan kitchen is très cool - and the service was attentive and not over bearing! The seating is intimate which is actually lovely to chat to your neighbours. The food is delicious my only regret not ordering more. We started with the pasta pesto, and zucchini flowers followed by the lentils and beef stew! All equally delicious, really beautifully simple and humble dishes made incredibly well! We also branches out and got the green dessert! Something I cant explain you just have to try - tortes de blettes! Réserve your seat ahead of time and enjoy provencial Niçoise food!

One of the best restaurants in Nice. The chef and the team are true professionals. All dishes were just amazing. Especially the pasta with pesto is their signature dish.

We were incredibly lucky to get a table for two just by walking in and asking for a seat yesterday. The food was absolutely fantastic! I especially loved the caramelised onions on the Pissaladière — so beautifully cooked and full of flavour. It was my first time trying this Niçoise dish, and it was a real treat. The pasta was hands down one of the best I’ve had in a long time — rich with the flavours of pesto, garlic, and cheese. The beef stew was hearty and comforting, and the panisse as had the perfect texture to complement the tender beef. We ended the meal with a warm lemon tart that was simply divine. You could really tell how much care and effort went into every dish. What truly stood out was the thoughtful gesture of the restaurant splitting each dish for us, as I was sharing the meal with my husband. Thank you for making our visit to Nice so memorable. I look forward to coming back on my next trip to try on other dishes on your menu!

Very cosy restaurant, air conned so even though you’re inside it’s ideal for the summer. Now you can book online, it’s easier to get a table! Traditional cuisine for the area, ratatouille is fantastic, as were the zucchini flowers. 3 corses with wine was €110 for 2 people. Make sure to get cash.
