Close enough to Andorra valley and a nice drive up the mountain to reach the lake. There's a parking space with a restaurant that was renovating. From there, it's a nice 10-15 minutes walk down to the lake with beautiful views along the way. It was really peaceful here and cold when we came at 10am on 30 May. Bring a jacket if you are coming in the morning.
Lake D`Engolasters: a beautiful small lake located right near Andorra la Vella. A great place for a picnic in the great outdoors or for a walk in a breathtaking landscape. The exit to the tracks is made from the town of Encamp
Simply stunning. You can do a lovely walk around the lake and have a picnic. It’s really calm and exceptionally clean! There is a parking close by which is free on Sundays and it’s around a 10 minute walk from the lake. Really a must visit.
Google will take you there via Encamp which is ok if you want to walk 45 min from the carpark ( if not take the route via Les Escaldes). Parking fee is very low. Unfortunately swimming is not allowed so you can see a lake, do some hiking and walk the dam. It‘s a pretty place yet for the weathered traveller not a must-be.
Not so beautiful mountain lake. The hiking route here is quite challenging and takes around 2+ hours one way. Was a few great views on the route, but not worth it.
Very pretty, get here early the parking fills up fast!
Amazing place to spend some time relaxing in the woods and looking over the lake
Nice place, not incredible. I like a lot the climbing zones a bit farther uphill.

Some truly beautiful unique cars bikes here. We really enjoyed it. Very cheap access fee too.
A very cool experience and a must-stop if you are in the area. Staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. There is a considerable amount of older cars and, as others have pointed out, the audio guides are very detailed and informative. For those driving in, there is also a parking lot close-by that is reasonably-priced.
It's a fantastic museum with loads of really great exhibits - bikes, motor bikes, cars and lots more. All kept in excellent condition. Many vehicles are either very rare or unique. A must-see for anyone who likes car museums. 5 floors of exhibits and a car park just round the corner. Great audio guide for the exhibits.
It's a small but great collection of cars with the highlight for me being the banana yellow Lancia Stratos. The price is fair, the staff are super friendly, and you get a really interesting audio guide (unusual for car museums).
Nice little museum which is larger than it looks like from the outside. Awesome collection of cars from the 1890's and onward. Admission quite cheap, I'd have paid double that and still felt like I got my money's worth.
Cool cars and Quite a few of them.
This was a very interesting museum as we were given an audio guide with languages in English, Catalan, French, Spanish, explaining many different aspects of vintage cars (organized by floors so older ones on one floor more modern ones on another with a total of 4 or 5 floors). For the older taxi cars, for instance the audio guides explained how they were used for the First World War to bring soldiers around. We spent maybe 1 or 2 hours here however many people left within 30 minutes. It was a great visit with lots to learn.
If you like classic cars or motorcycles you'll certainly enjoy this. You also get to know a bit about the history of Andorra through the history around the introduction of several cars on display. Audioguide is a nice addition to the visit.

An absolute gem to visit. Really friendly tour guides, excellent English speaking tour and it was just us! Really interesting place to go, a time capsule perfectly preserved. A must see in Andorra! Highly recommended :)
Interesting old house dating back to around 1900 with four floors of original furniture and personal belongings of the family that lived there up to 1946. Very helpful and pleasant tour staff.
Of all the things we did during 5 days in Andorra, Casa Cristo was among the top highlights. This beautiful, well-maintained home has a fascinating family history and we were given plenty of interesting detail by our brilliant guide. Highly recommended and all three of us found the experience very interesting and rewarding!
Very very cute little museum. Highly recommend the visit. The guide is very kind and speaks very good english. The visit itself is pure pleasure
A treasure trove of well preserved, interesting information. The tour guide was well informed and explained everything really well, very friendly and attentive.
Our guide was great. He was kind and knowledge. And he gave the whole group local tiny apples, just because he felt like it.
Extremely interesting, knowledgeable curator, a great place to visit, highly recommended.

Very interesting museum. You can even see real hydro generator! And run electricity through you body :)
Good for understanding the close relationship between the development of this wonderful country and the hydroelectric power. A good plan for a rainy/snowy day. It seems that a major reformation will take care by the fall of 2025: mostly needed.
Such a cool and informative museum for anyone interested in hydroelectricity and it's historical influence in Andorra. The audio guides are very detailed and quite informative too, with many items on display and interactive sets. As mentioned, it is an actual operating hydroelectric plant! Definitely worth a stop!
Cool little museum located inside a powerplant. The audioguide goes on way too long and a couple of things in the interactive room didn't seem to work, but overall I enjoyed learning more about how electricity production has affected the history of Andorra.
This is a small marvel! The museum is quite small, you won’t need more than an hour if you’re using the audio guide. It’s part of a working hydroelectric power plant and the staff is exceptionally friendly and enthusiastic about the place. There’s a focus on renewable energy and sustainability and there’s also a room with games all around electricity for the young and old to try out. And I learned a lot about the country Andorra just via their main exhibition.

They have demonstrated a deep knowledge of hydroelectric power and have been able to convey it in a clear and interesting way. I highly recommend this museum to anyone interested in science and sustainability. It is an educational and inspiring experience not to be missed. The museum staff were very attentive. First, they explained what you can see in the museum, how electricity is generated, and how a hydroelectric plant works. The most interesting thing is also learning how the plant was built, the effort involved, and the before and after of its commissioning for Andorra. Major investments were made in infrastructure, and the country began to develop rapidly. You can see the turbines through a glass window, and there's also an interactive area for children and adults. Afterwards, we took a guided tour of the Engolasters Hydroelectric Path, which was also very interesting, as you can see the dam that was built on the lake, access the interior, and see the guardhouse. It's a good idea to book in advance. An exceptional museum that allows you to enjoy and better understand Andorran history and heritage. The whole family loved it. Awesome Via Ferrata for beginners! I wouldn't take young kids though. The best place to park is at the the outdoor Rocodromo on the paved road that runs north of where google maps takes you if you click directions to this spot. Then you cross the 'tibetan bridge' on foot and make your way here.
Very short, but great views. Park at the artificial rock or close by and walk over the Tibetan bridge. Then turn right and you shortly after you find the sign indicating the path to the via ferrata
Beautiful area. Was fun hiking to the bridge which takes you through a beautiful valley. It had snowed the night before which made it even more beautiful.

(Translated by Google) Good morning; if you can call them that! I went on Wednesday with my partner, who's a member; but I had a day ticket... Mrs. OTIIIIII served us, and that's true! AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE... VERY UNFRIENDLY AND LAUGHING IN MY FACE because I had to pay more for not being an Encamp resident... While her colleague stood with her head down in shame at the situation... I pay whatever the rates say; no problem. But her laughing in my face; since I work face-to-face, I find it very pathetic. And I keep quiet because I'm polite. The other colleagues are really very friendly... That's why I put the name... Y me callo pk yo si soy educada. Las demás compañeras la verdad muy amables... Por eso pongo el nombre..
(Translated by Google) For those registered in Encamp, they have a good price and the gym is really good, new machines. But be careful because different federations reserve it and without prior notice, they will not let you train at that time. Well, they say they notify them on the website, but the website hasn't worked for months. So you can arrive and they won't let you train...
(Translated by Google) We came from Barcelona to compete and the truth is that comparing sports facilities from here and there is not ideal. What we could see of the pool and changing rooms was very average, the changing room was good, there were only two benches and for so many swimmers, we had to change on the ground and the small pool, quite good.
(Translated by Google) An unforgettable experience for our little one 👏👏👏 we love Encamp for the various activities they offer for the little ones on these dates. We will return. PS: in the necklace workshop a blonde girl was not very nice since the workshop was supposed to be for children from 8 years old, if they were younger she would not let them (except if they were known to her) so 👎👎👎 very bad because she left several girls without doing it and the parents biting their tongues. My baby is 4 years old and I didn't want to leave her either but I told her to explain it to me and I helped my baby and she was surprised 😂😂😂but my baby did and the brunette girl was super nice. There were inflatables (the monitors were a 10), makeup (the girl was a sweetheart), the igloo (very cool), 3D glasses, a video game console, a theater, a lower area for babies (an entire gym)... the truth is that it was well distributed and separated by age. They gave them coca boba and chocolate 👏👏👏 We will return (Original) Una experiencia para nuestra peque inolvidable 👏👏👏 nos encanta Encamp por laa diversas actividades que ofrecen para los/las peques en estas fechas . Volveremos.

It's the perfect place to spend afternoons with the family. The fair has an area with video games and arcades, another with traditional games, and another with mats for all ages. However, there are new additions every year.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful day! We were the first to arrive. We went up with the Funicamp and then Esteve took us in a minibus to Orri, where Rafa and Aritz showed us the area and how to fish. We had a great time in a Heidi environment, surrounded by cows and horses. We also really liked the Tibetan bridge, and we even got our feet wet in the river. Great day :) (Original) Un dia preciós!

(Translated by Google) Dreamy views of the HIGH MOUNTAINS! A half-hour walk from the last stop of the Encamps Funicamp takes you easily to the lake. There, some lovely people explained to us about the Orris, life in the cabins, and the local flora and fauna—very interesting! And they teach children under 14 how to catch and release wild trout. LOVELY! I think it's absolutely worth taking this Funicamp. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS! It lasts 25 minutes. VISTAS PRECIOSAS! Dura 25 minutos
(Translated by Google) Highly recommended for routes with family. It can be accessed with the cable car located in Encamp. After almost half an hour of climbing you reach the top of the gondola. From there there are countless routes to take. We went to Orri de Cubil and the small lake in front. The trallecto can be done in less than an hour. There are usually cows and horses around. Next to the cable car there is a restaurant, and halfway along the cable car, there is a stop. If you go down it, you can access a small Tibetan bridge that is half an hour away.
