Picturesque swimming spot with turquoise water ideal for snorkeling & other water activities.

Undoubtedly, for us, this is the best and most beautiful beach in Mallorca. Despite the presence of seaweed, you can always find a spot without it. The water is simply mesmerizing, especially combined with the pink sand. There are also very beautiful spots for snorkeling. It can only be compared to the water and sand in Sardinia.
Cala Agulla is a really nice beach with beautiful landscapes to admire! The sand is soft and white, and the water is super clear. It's great that there are bars and showers available. A quick tip: arrive early to secure a good parking spot and a prime location for your towel or a sunbed. Just a heads-up though, it can get very crowded, and there can sometimes be a lot of algae in the water.
Beautiful beach with breathtaking views! The beach gets really busy, but mainly the first 2/3 of the beach. The last part of the beach is significantly better- very clean, with a lot of space and definitely quieter as it is close to the forest and away from the beach bars. The water is crystal clear - you can see many fish. The sand is clean. The forest with the beautiful trees and the turquoise waters make for an unforgettable view and pictures.
What a lovely beach and surrounding area. Absolutely stunning beach for sunbathing and swimming. Clear waters with fish which are visible with the naked eye. Great rock pool with sea life in. Overall brilliant place. Lifeguard on duty also bar/cafe nearby.
I am currently here on July 23rd, 2025. Arrived around 10:45 and it was packed but we found a good spot up front. This is the third beach we’ve been to in Mallorca and I love it! The sand is very fine! There are large rocks in the sand in certain places but you can walk over them to find a spot to set up. The water is perfect! It’s very shallow For a while. You have to walk out somewhat far to not be able to touch the bottom. Which is great for little kids!!! Lots of Families and just couples are here. The water is calm, even when it is a little windy! No real waves. The water is my Favorite thing about this beach! I was able to use my float without getting crushed by waves. It’s Also crystal clear with no seaweed or debris. Water wasn’t warm but wasn’t cold either. It was cool. It’s not a very hot day together and we’ve had intermittent rain(just sprinkles). There are two lifeguards on duty which is concerning since there are so many people at this beach. No way they’d be able to save anyone. There are sun beds and umbrellas for rental. They are at the back of the beach but it’s not a wide beach which is good. Not sure the cost as we had our own umbrella and towels. There are water sport activities for rent such as paddle boarding and paddle boats with a slide. There are several beach bars that sell reasonably priced drinks and baguettes and sandwiches.beers were about 3-4 euro. Mixed drinks about 9 euros. Baguettes and sandwiches are about 5-6 euro. There’s also a sit down restaurant with a bathroom. If you are a customer, the bathroom is free but if you are not, it’s 1 euro. The bathrooms are clean and there is an attendant! Another favorite thing is that behind us are just dunes and next to us are mountains. It’s a beautiful view! There are hotels on the other side but the view is covered by trees. Parking is a pain as it’s hard to find parking close. We got lucky and found a spot about a 5 minute walk. Not too bad but with little ones it’s not ideal. One thing I didn’t care for was the smell. The seaweed smell isn’t pleasant but it’s tolerable. Overall, it’s worth visiting!
A very nice beach indeed. Good services at the beach, like life guard and small bar for drinks and ice cream. Also the possibility of renting beach chairs and parasols. The sand is mostly clean, besides the occasional algae and at least when we visited in October it wasn’t very crowded. Recommended. 🏝️☀️😁
Clear warm water pink sand, beautiful beach to say the least. Gets a bit crowded and you might need to park your car a bit further, but you wont mind that unless you are a spoiled brat. Beach is 10/10
8️⃣ / 🔟 Hello, we were here. This is a very nice beach, unfortunately mostly overcrowded. Still very nice, you can enjoy it. Great views no matter where you look. Feel free to come here. We'd love to come back. See you next time. ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻

Warm, clear water. Not overcrowded but small. Anyway worth to see!
Beautiful beach, not a lot of sand. But gorgeous even on a cloudy day.
Extremely small beach, the sand was dirty. People are so close to each other that it gets uncomfortable. Take a few steps into the water and it's alredy deep. Algues made the experience even worse. Would definitely recommend you to take a walk in the area though. The view is stunning.
Nice small beach, a bit crowded even in the beginning of october, but all the other beaches were crowded aswell. Water was very clean.
Nice, small, picturesque beach.
Small charming beach, transparent, turquoise blue water..., incredible, the typical postcard beach that we all look for in Majorca, it has a small bar where you can have a drink or eat... The beach has no bathrooms or showers, like It usually happens on more natural beaches on the island..., you can park nearby, not suitable for wheelchairs
In March there was not much going on, so there was enough space on the beach. Since the bay is small, it can get crowded quickly in the high season.
Cala Gat (translating from Catalan means - literally „bay of the cat”). We discovered it quite unplanned during a trip to Cala Ratjada. Of course we don't regret it: few tourists, wonderful water and lots of greenery.

Beautiful beach with soft sand and easy access. However, the showers were not working, which was a bit disappointing.
Very beautiful and clean beach! Although it gets packed during the day it’s still worth it. It was towel to towel on the beach so not much room and freedom. Beautiful white sand and turquoise water. Fyi the beds/shades are for a fee. Also bring your goggles and take a peak in the right side of the beach. If you walk around you’ll see many hotels, restaurants and tourists so it’s very lively. There are also showers near the stairs at the back of the beach
The beach itself is beautiful, but it is very crowded (already in June) and there are not that much umbrellas (2 beds + umbrella = €19.50). One of the restaurants plays German music very hard, which ruins the experience
Nice beach and area. Definitley you should at least visit the area.
Secure beautiful beach, accessible from all the hotels around footpaths and parking.
Crowded but lovely turquoise waters. Clean, soft sand, gentle incline- great for non swimmers too, enough eating and drinking options.
Beautiful beach, the waves are fantastic fun
Nice clean beach calm water with pink sand .

Working lighthouse with a white 59-ft tower on Mallorca's easternmost point, open since 1861.
Slide 1 of 8
This lighthouse is an absolute must-visit for anyone in the northeastern part of Majorca. Perched on a cliff at the island's easternmost point, it offers an unforgettable experience that combines stunning natural beauty with a touch of history. Driving up to the lighthouse is quite easy, with a narrow road that leads you to this secluded and serene spot. The breathtaking panoramic views that greet you at the top are more than worth the drive!
When stopping in Cala Ratjada it's worth a stroll up to the lighthouse about 45 minutes walk. Great views from the top over the volcanic cliff sides. Unfortunately the lighthouse is closed to the public but worth seeing close up and also for the views. Not a tough walk so good for all fitness types.
The views are simply amazing. Well worth the time to climb up
Bit of a walk but well worth it - so beautiful
Cool lighthouse with amazing views of the cliffs along the rocky coastline. You can see all the way to Menorca, it's a gorgeous view. You can drive all the way up there, it's a narrow windy road but not very long. When you get to the top, there is room for about 10 cars to park, but it's not a bad walk either. We hiked all around the top to the various viewpoints. You can see the ruinsof the old medieval spotting towers. I'd go back again for those views.
This is a very nice place and very good for photo shoot. Only negative thing there everyone wants to go up by car and the street is not big enough and you will facing with traffic jam there. Please guys walking is good and healthy. You will find nice places if you leave your car in the parking lot and just walking up.
Narrow road but worth the trip for the view. On a clear day, you can see Minorca. No ticket is needed as the lighthouse is off limits.
Such a stunning thing to see! We came here for sunrise and it didn’t disappoint at all! A really nice walk to get here or you can drive up and just admire all of the views this little spot has to offer! If you’re close you must visit! You won’t be disappointed! Didn’t want to leave.

A lovely visit to a lovely place. Views are spectacular and the gardens beautiful. The lady guide is professional and welcoming. It would be nice to be able to wander after the guided walk but the group was ushered out after the hour’s tour. Plant labels would also have been appreciated.
Beautiful garden offering a variety of trees, plants and flowers and a nice collection of artworks of different styles and made of different materials. It represents the harmony between the art and nature. The view from the villa on the top of the hill is amazing. You can visit the entrance hall and the dining room of the villa. The guided tour was perfect. Our family enjoyed it a lot.
We visited in July with 2 children aged 14 and 8. We would absolutely recommend the tour to others. Esmeralda was a brilliant guide who clearly loves the villa, but honestly who wouldn't. it's beautiful. The gardens are so well cared for, the statures are all really different and have their own story, the views are stunning. Inside the house you only see a few rooms. The hall, dinning room and library. The hall is quite incredible covered in tiny mosaics showing the seasons. A few things I wanted to know before booking but couldn't find out that might help others... - You must book online in advance. - The tours are at 9:30am and last around an hour. - I was told by many that the tours is only in German. This is not true. Esmeralda spoke perfect English and then translated everything into German and even a little French too. - It is not possible to walk around the grounds alone after the tour as it is still a private home. overall we ll really enjoyed the tour.
This is a truly unique house and garden and well worth a visit. The house interior decoration is an amazing blend of mosaics and murals and carpets that blend and blur the boundaries between floors and walls. Something really unique. The gardens are well kept with a diverse mix of classical and contemporary statues and art installations which make it very interesting. Tours are guided, but there is enough freedom to take nice photos and wander a bit ! The tour is about an hour, there are no toilets so go first ! Would highly recommend
Sa Torre Cega it's beautiful residence in Cala Ratjada.I recommend this place to visit!
Our guide gave us interesting and informative journey around the gardens and stunning interior of the house. A most enjoyable morning .
An Outstanding Experience – Highly Recommended! We had a fantastic tour with Esmeralda. The whole experience was smooth, professional, and truly enjoyable. Perfect service from start to finish! Gaby
What a stunning estate. The combination of the gardens and the house is just perfect. The artwork tops it up. Our guide was also very good and kept us engaged.

Amazing scenic 360 spot! We ended up there mostly by luck since we were in the mood of a hike and we felt so lucky in the end. The hike is around 40 minutes and needs proper shoes, at least hiking sandals and not at all recommended with flip flops since it has some tricky parts. The view though is totally rewarding.
We went up mid-June, I would advise you start the hike early in the morning. From Cala Mesquida, it’s about an hour for good walkers. Towards the end, there is a pretty short but steep passage requiring hands as well. But the view is worth it!
Trekking shoes is better than sneakers The view is stunning but you can't go down to cala agulla from here unless you got the trekking apps with the actual route, if so please gear up as it is another level to do so.
Amazing little peak. About 300 meters climb from either side. Pictures is taken around 06:35. Check when sunrise is there and make sure to get there around it. Navigation is difficult but it is a marked route. However there is many goat trail. FATMAPs (map application) will show you the trails. Bring good shoes. The tower is an old guard tower which where placed as one in a circuit of guard towers guiding against pirates and other attackers. There is a small trail leading to the east from near the peak. This is very technical and goes to an amazing hidden beach. If you take this trail down have mountain experience and a good patience. In essence this is a trail runners paradise so close to the hotels.
Bring good shoes along! Quite steep close to the summit. Depending on your fitness something like 30 to 90 minutes climb from the Hotel. I can recommend going there early or really late close to sunset. Pictures are from the sunrise at 06 25. Enjoy!
Was it worth it? No not at all. The view is great at the top but the walk over all is not worth it at all. I recommend people to skip it until local authorities make a better way up. I took the path from Cala Mesquida. Going upwards is ok until you reach the last 300 meters. Especially the last 100 meters are actually very dangerous and challenging. It is a steep way up, you almost have to climb the last path. It only gets worse when you have to get down from there. The same 300 meters are now even more dangerous and very difficult to navigate down from. Do yourself a favor and skip it.
Started at the Cala Agulla Beach and walked towards Mesquida beach. Then head clock wise to Jaumell. Half way up we lost the path but followed cairns to the top. The path back down has red paint dots,so you won't lose your way back. Took around 3hrs
1 hour to climb up, 45 minutes to go back. The views at the summit are rewarding. Juste be careful it's very windy up there.
