Shopping mall
Shopping
Spacious retail center with 3 floors of shops, fast-food restaurants & consumer services.
Slide 1 of 8
Best shopping place in city. Various brands are available. Variety of food is available. Highly recommend if you are this area.
Really really nice and well kept Shopping Center got all your needs from clothes to Electronics and household appliances
Pretty nice shopping center
Nice place to go shopping for different store with clothes, groceries, etc. In-between you find some food courts to eat or get a snack. A lot of people are sometimes there so of course the floor is then dirty. The prices for the parking is high in my opinion.
It's a big shopping center, with many great shops and fast food restaurants.
It's a good place where to go for shopping or just spend some time. Lot of shops and coffee places.
Perfect place, worth a visit
It is a good shopping center, not very big but you can take a short walk, it has specific stores where you can get certain things, you can also choose between some food places if you are in a hurry or you can also eat there, there are many people usually so That gives the impression of always being full. It can be easily accessed by vehicles and walking.

Very organized concert venue. The queue to enter the place was very fast and the toilets were very well kept. Staff was very friendly as well. It is conveniently located on the opposite side of the street of the Allgäu Forum, a shopping mall with a good parking lot that remains open until one hour and half after the concerts end.
Stayed one night. Excellent especially for the price. Lots of resteraunts around
Wonderful place for an amazing events! 🤩🎶🎉
Nice hotel and rooms. Didn’t get to use the gym but looks good. Breakfast was very busy but food was tasty.
Great concert venue, not too big, but decent capacity and very well organised. Rock Meets Classic was brilliant
When here in business I always stay at the BigBOX. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Love the breakfast. Always have the croissants.
We went for the Swan lake ballet on the 30th of December. I really enjoyed it. Everything was just perfect.

Baroque church built in 1652 & housing elaborate gilded accents, sculptures & frescoes.
Slide 1 of 8
Baroque huge basilic. dated to the 17th century and part of the complex in this hill. inside the church is like visiting Rome, with golden stripes on the ceilings/walls, paintings and granite/golden altars. very magnificent.
This is the centrepiece of Kempten! An unmissable landmark in the Hildegardplatz with double tower facade and majestic steps. The interior awes you with baroque architecture, numerous frescos of Andreas Asper, and even one featuring Hildegard herself (which I couldn't spot it, my mistake). The foundation stone was laid in 1652 after the old church was ruined during The Thirty Years' War. Opened in 1670 as a monastery and a parish church, it now acts as a Roman Catholic parish church for the Diocese of Augsburg. It's the place to visit in this city and becomes livelier during the weekend market on Saturdays.

Love it! Do NOT miss the market every Wednesday and Saturday morning. So awesome. So good. So perfect!!!
I am giving 5 stars even though I could barely witness this beauty due to restoration. Well, guess I have a reason to come back again.
Such a gorgeous Church. I am so speechless as I enter inside. So far the most beautiful church I have ever seen in Germany.
Was completely blown away by the beauty of this church. Photos does not do it justice. A must for anybody visiting the town of Kempten. Entrance is free so you literally have no excuse not to go. The church is currently undergoing maintenance and may look a little unwelcoming, but it is open (just walk to the door and open it). I will return one more time before my trip is over. I would give it five stars, but because of the limited tourist information available, I can't. I understand however, that the church is not a commercialised attraction, and that it may be costly for the church to provide pamphlets and marketing materials if entrance is free of charge. Still, this is an amazing place. Go, enjoy the artwork, or sit down and say a prayer. This building is an absolute masterpiece. Appreciate it.
Stop by around noon for a break. It was a Sunday they had a mass on walked inside it was spectacular! Quite dreamy. Next to the church food market with a few food trucks around the fountain. Tried a few it was great! Had truffle gnocchi with generous shaving of truffle it was a highlight of the foodie experience. Spoke to one of the truffle specialist they offer truffle hunting tours but we are on. Schedule maybe for next time.

Beautiful baroque palace with stunning rooms and decor. The guided tour was one of the best tours I had in any of the Bavarian castles. Lots of details and entertainment so that I will definitely remember a lot. Great guide! 3,5€ for an adult is also very cheap. There are free lockers for your things. Entrance is a bit hidden, it is at the side where the church is, the door opens some time before each tour (paper at the door will tell you the times).
only allowed to visit through guided tour that last 45min. you can only see 5-6 rooms from the whole complex. the rooms are mainly original Baroque/rococo architecture style.
I hiden palace in an official Building that deserves full attention. The local Guide prove to be a pationate and a best knower of the place. The detailed informations received are so valuable for the place and surroundings.
Was here today. There is a schedule of guided tours on the door, and no one was there at 14.30 (time indicated in the schedule)! No one also answered the phone. Nothing on a website. Awful experience, we came only for this visit.
Bad planned tours, short ones too, no english and boring overall
Amazing baroque interior. The decorated rooms are not many (six in all), but they are surprisingly rich, with a lot of stucco work and painted ceilings, dating around 1740. The visit is guided (just in German, for other languages you are given a written brochure). Ticket price is very good (3.50 euro). Definitely a must see in Kempten.

Great park with good and interesting explanations and a lots of hands-on elements in each exhibition. You can explore the main park for free but need to pay for entrance to the temple and bath. Lots of interactive presentations and explanations. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very inclusive and lots of details for visually impaired (so lots of models and things to touch). Entrance with 5€ for adults is really cheap for what you get. You can pay with card or cash, there is a cafe and toilets.
I cannot believe that after the second world war they built public housing on top of ancient roman foundations. I guess life goes on... I enjoyed my time walking here, cool fall air, looking around the leaves were changing color. Cool depictions of the ancient roman city that was once was. Wasn't anymore. Alas, it was once. No longer you see, for the Romans are dead. Or something. I looked at and, admittedly, touched some old rocks. Amazing. Being from America and seeing some rock piles that are millions, nay, billions of seconds older than the creation of my country. Wow. This place would have blown George Washington's mind. RIP George.
We brought my Dad for the Römerfest and had a great time! As Dad is no longer able to get about easily, we borrowed a wheelchair from the main kiosk and were able to reach all parts of the site with him. The reconstructed temple is incredible and uses multimedia very imaginatively, describing the labours of Hercules, to whom the temple is dedicated, and allowing you to accompany a temple procession. The bathhouse foundations are extensive. Small reconstructed additions such as the wooden latrine section make it even easier to imagine how it was (there's even the ubiquitous sponge on a stick). The larger information boards also include information in English and at least one other language in addition to German. I also noticed a fascinating textured reconstruction of the temple with braille signage, so that visually impaired visitors could picture the temple and environs and feel the layout. The site is very cheap to visit most of the year, and even the additional festival day price with all the added attractions of gladiators, music and much more was a very reasonable 10€.
Ok but not what would be expected of a great roman historical site. Also overrun by school children and very rudementary. If you have other things to see, do those first - leave this to last.
We had a nice 3 hour stroll into the past here. Unfortunately still didn't see everything. Think we will be back some day to finish some other parts (that are accessible without any entrance fee ;)). Definitely try the App for the Augumented Reality parts!
Nice Roman museum and archaeological site. The 'Roman' park area has 3 sites and this one is themed on religion in Roman times. It is rather nicely presented, with a lot of information both about the subject as wel as the actual excavation. With the same ticket you can also visit the bathhouse, approximately 5 minutes walk through the 'Roman' park.
Good showcase of how a Gallo-Roman temple precinct could have looked like. The museum has two locations! So dont forget to go to the Bathhouse excavation if you've only seen the temple.
Cambodunum is an interesting place to visit, when in kempten. It gives you an insight into the way a Roman garrison functioned at the edge of the empire. The site also includes a lot of personal artifacts once owned by the legionnaires and auxiliaries, including their small figurines representing the gods they made offerings to before going into battle and much more. The baths where they went to bathe and relax is also excavated and roofed with even more interesting things to see.

Good looking church that is probably overshadowed a bit by Kempten cathedral. Still, if you are strolling down Kempten on a warm summer day, do come to cool yourself off, there are some really pretty details here.
Very nice church
(Translated by Google) The previous church from the 7th century had its cemetery on today's Mang Square. Around 1525, the imperial city of Kempten bought a lot of property from the prince abbot of the twin city, including the church. In 1527 the conversion to the Reformation took place. In the 18th century the main nave was rebuilt in the Baroque style. In the 19th century the neo-baroque came. This can be read on an information board on site. It's nice to meet an open Protestant church.

Awesome recap of the history of the Erasmus Kapelle! Outstanding mini movie/multimedia show with a narrator, nice music, and several beamers to create a truly mesmerizing effect for visitors! Wonderful place for kids and mamas and papas
(Translated by Google) The hands-on exhibition really offers a range of inspiration, creative activities and game ideas for young and old. With grandmas, grandpas and two children (8, 3) we were able to keep busy for two hours without any problem. It's worth it. The only downside is that we have rarely been treated so rudely at the checkout because of a single question about the family price. Attention, the family here consists of mom, dad and two children. Even grandma or grandpa don't count as family. It's a shame if you don't have a dad, for example. The poor reception almost stopped us from entering the exhibition. Luckily we ignored the artist at the reception's bad mood (?) and enjoyed the time.

(Translated by Google) The construction of the church began in 1908 and the consecration was in May 1914. During the Second World War the church and parts of the adjacent Capuchin monastery were destroyed. In 1952 the entire system was restored. Personally, I think the furnishings are quite nice, even if I prefer larger and detailed frescoes.

(Translated by Google) A really worth seeing church. The ceiling decorations are wonderfully done and the overall look is successful. I've walked past it every day for over twenty years - but it wasn't until my wife that I got a look inside. I can only recommend a visit. (Original) Eine wirklich sehenswerte Kirche.
(Translated by Google) Neo-baroque parish church with a simple design language. The side aisles are reduced to chapels and galleries. It is strongly reminiscent of the St. Anna Basilica in Altötting, which was probably built at the same time. The large organ in the gallery was built by Gerhard Schmid from Kaufbeuren.
