The houses are so well preserved and it is possible to see inside on how the Walser communities lived in this environment (living space, stables, hay preservation, etc). Sadly the entire time we was there, the high wind had closed the upper ski-lift to the rest of the area, so we could not get to the green and blue ski runs, only red and black was available. Beginners and new skiers had to travel by taxi, to another area to ski. If there is not high wind, it is properly a good place, but as soon as there is too much wind, there is not much to do and high wind in the mountains are quite common. For one day of skiing at a different area, the trip was mostly a waste of money. They need to connect the place with more than one upper (big) ski-lift. There was a smaller ski-lift, but it didn't connect to the other ski runs.
