Another beach on our map and it may not be the best of the best or I will say that there are countless beaches here and there is no great sand under your feet, the whole surroundings somehow create a pleasant atmosphere. You can take a walk along the rocks and snap a few nice photos or just sunbathe somewhere in a quiet place. The car park is medium-sized and during the season it can be tight.
Cala Xarraca is a little beach with a steep drive down and a small free car park that fills up quickly, so it’s best to arrive early. There’s a nice bar and restaurant right on the beach, which makes it convenient for food and drinks. The beach itself is made up of pebbles and rocks. The water is clear, though there are quite a lot of seaweeds at the entrance. Space on the beach is limited, but there’s also a lovely natural pool with crystal-clear water, perfect for kids. In the afternoon, parts of the beach get some welcome shade, which is a nice bonus.
Sandy/rocky beach. Lounge chairs available for rent, but easily possible to lay down on the sand. Plenty of free parking. Restaurant on site not great, but serves reasonably pricedcold beer. Good starting point on a hike to explore nearby caves
On the left side with little rock climbing you get to the more private part of the beach. Beach is full of dried sea grass that is really comfortable and soft to lie on, but you must accept the fact that it will be over everything. In earlier hours we were the only ones at the beach, around 2 pm more people started coming.
Picture yourself diving into a cove so pristine it feels like Ibiza’s best-kept secret? Cala Xarraca stole my heart with its turquoise waters and wild, rocky cliffs perfect for anyone craving a break from the island’s party scene. Snorkeling here is like exploring an underwater jewel box, with fish darting through crystal-clear depths. I was blown away to discover a hidden rope swing at Sa Punta Negra, just a 10-minute stroll away, where you can dangle over the Mediterranean for that perfect photo moment. Pro tip: head to the cove’s left side for natural mud baths that locals claim work skincare miracles, but avoid peak summer when the mud’s too dry. Get here early to nab parking—it’s tight—and pack water shoes for the rocky shore. The beachside restaurant serves killer fresh fish and paella, so save room for lunch. For max chill, visit in the late afternoon when the crowds fade and the sunset lights up the sky.
beach 3/10, there are jellyfish that sting, stones when entering the sea, not convenient. very quiet, no waves
Wonderful secluded beach, with limited parking and steep hill going down to it. There is a restaurant on the beach, but it wasn't open when we were there at around midday It's a great place to go snorkeling as well, as the cove it well protected from the wind and waves
The Anchorage beach and water 5 - Restaurant beach, rentals we did not use.... Because of swell at their dinghy dock. We went to this pretty bay to Anchor is the water out about 200 yards is as clear as I've really seen There was a stone wall with Wood Pegs to tie up your dinghy if you dared, there was a pretty consistent swell that was slamming are dinghy into the stone wall. In truth we need our dinghy more then a drink. The beach Bar sold food and drinks, lawn chairs and boards are available... Which I would recommend padding around this little bay it really is beautiful. The beach is mostly stone, there is parking before the Restaurant and Inn.

This is a massive hidden gem: if you truly do like sushi, you have to go. Top quality food. Extremely well thought plates without overdoing it with, a great combination of tasty but not too strong sauces. Plus service is very attentive and caring. Last and not less important: Cocktails. Just have one, you won't regret it.
Amazing sushi!!! Double salmon and kabanoki were delicious, the salmon melts in your mouth. Must visit when in Portinatx ❤️
Incredible sushi restaurant in Portinatx, with very innovative dishes, delicious cocktails, and excellent service. Came here multiple times to try their poke bowls for take away to then eat at the beach, which is just next to it. Fresh fish, delicious toppings, and homemade sauces makes Kanpai worthy of the best poke on the island. Their sushi rolls and nigiri are just as amazing and offer you incredible, unique flavours.
I like the effort the people put into this new place but i feel a lot has to be improved. The sushi rolls are very small. The double salmon sushi roll is supposed to be flamed but not burnt which unfortunately was the case for us. The starters are tiny and over priced nevertheless most of them very tasty although the shrimp gyozas were nothing special. The highlight was the shrimp tower. In the end we paid 80€ without dessert or booze and were not very satisfied.
A Portinatx Gem Hiding in Plain Sight Upon first glance, Kanpai Sushi & Cocktails in Portinatx, seems a relic from a bygone era. With its rustic, weathered exterior and the slightly dated charm of its verandah, filled with nondescript tables and bamboo chairs, one could easily pass it by. The vast interior leans more towards the casual drinker, hinting at evening buzz rather than a gastronomic experience. My initial thoughts? This might not be the culinary excursion I had hoped for. Yet, as the evening unfolded, Kanpai's true colors shone vibrantly. Despite its expansive size, there's an intimacy that grows with the setting sun. Arriving for an early dinner, the serenity of being the first diners was unique, but by the time our meal was drawing to a close, the atmosphere had transformed. A humming chatter, laughter, and the clinking of glasses proved that this place was a favorite for both locals and tourists of all ages. The menu is where Kanpai truly stands out. While its lunch offerings cater to the Poke bowl lovers, dinner dives deep into a world of sushi that defies convention. I was both intrigued and delighted by their Sobrasada & Scallop sushi combination, an eclectic fusion that, against all odds, worked beautifully. Not to forget the recommended shrimp tower and spicy tuna, which were standout dishes in their own right. But what's sushi without a drink to accompany it? Beyond the regular selection, it's the cocktails that steal the show. For those with a sugary inclination, the Lychee Martini is a must, while the spicy margarita promises a delightful kick. The staff, multilingual and amiable, add to the overall pleasant experience, ensuring questions are answered and orders are taken with a genuine warmth. But the real cherry on top? The incredible value for money. Such quality, at such prices, is a rarity. Our evening at Kanpai, which began with hesitancy due to its deceptive facade, ended in a unanimous desire to return. It's a testament to the surprises Portinatx holds and the delightful discoveries one can stumble upon when least expected.
Best restaurant in Portinatx! Amazing cocktails and even better sushi!
Very simple but fresh great sushi, good wine and cocktails. Service is very friendly
Really nice Japanese fusion food. The Ibicenco bravas tempura are a must with any dish . Cocktails 10/10 also . Great staff too

Really great English pub. Lovely couple and their family also who came in the pub were very friendly. Fantastic atmosphere for the football. Thank you very much from (Gregory).
Promised to show us a Rugby match, when we arrived he held a karaoke and refused to turn on tvs. Felt he had something against the irish.
I can't comment on the service or the food. In fairness the food looks good. But we visited last week, and they wouldn't let my pregnant friend use their toilet. I think this woman was so unreasonable. She speaks English so language was no problem, completely unnecessary.
Live sports , karaoke nights , beer at a good price
Nice friendly atmosphere , good English food and at a very reasonable price Defiantly worth a few visits
We were staying in Portinatx and popped into "Bar DelBoys" to watch some football. Both Brian, Bev and the whole family made us very welcome. It helped with Sarah being a Spurs fan (for her sins) They also put the Motogp on for us. There's Karaoke and a small quiz on the evening. Definitely worth checking out "BAR DELBOY" Big thanks to the whole Delboy Family.
Brilliant bar only a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Brian and Beverly make you feel really welcome and if you like a bit of Karaoke this is definitely the place to be. Brian also shows all types of sports, I myself was there for the football but others were there watching rugby. All round great bar thanks again Brian and Beverly for being the perfect hosts.

Delicious Paella, but the liquidish one not the crunchy. You need to call beforehand and inform which kind of paella you want to have for lunch. The price is 25€ for person, but it is big and has a beautiful scenery.
We went for lunch today. It was very busy with only a few tables left. The were greeted by a friendly lady who gave us a table. We only wanted a.light lunch so ordered Spanish ham and Melon, a chicken salad and bread and alioli which also came with olives. The food was excellent and the beer cold. The staff were very friendly. The view over the main beach and beyond was lovely. We will eat here again.
Location is fantastic. Shared a pizza and a salad, both tasty and perfect for lunch. With a glass of rose and beautiful view.
Lovely views and a great mojito! Very reasonable prices and excellent service from the waitress at our visit
Big fan! Easy menu, nice pizza’s, friendly employees and very nice view!
Unbelievable that this restaurant is less than 4 stars. Amazing food, good price and excelent view.
Nice setting, very clean, good food. A bit pricey though, €36 for 3 sandwiches, 2 bowls of fries, 3 soft drinks.
Basic apartments but kept very clean and tidy, fantastic view from the balcony overlooking the sea, 2 minutes from the beaches, restaurants and bars, supermarket is downstairs which was useful

Beautiful place with stunning views. The comments about a fear of heights aren’t entirely accurate if you park near Sendero del Faro de Moscarter. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the lighthouse, and it’s more of a pleasant walk than a hike.
Easy and nice walking trail. Takes 20-30min if you have a smooth walk. All trails follow the same direction and end at the lighthouse on the approx 50m high cliffs. Great view to watch the sun go down. Except for another couple we were all on our own for like 1 hour. Unfortunately you cant go up the tower, but was expected.
Another excellent walk on the island in early March. Have stayed and been to the north of the island but never walked up to the lighthouse, such a peaceful and pleasant walk. There were other hikers on our way back as we set off early and it seemed to be a popular walk, lovely views and I highly enjoyed the different experiences this time around. Make sure to carry on past the lighthouse and further down to the hidden crystal beach, a solid 2-3 hours walk there all round. Highly recommend if you want some downtime on the island. Solid A***** LDT x
Walked a circular route from Portinaxt to the lighthouse and back. Consists of road, forest track and then cliff top path to the lighthouse. Stunning views from the cliff top. The route back along the cliff top gets a bit tricky and rough as you come back down into the little bay!
A nice walk on fairly flat but bumpy ground, it is very muddy in places if it has been raining. Very peaceful and quiet, come here for some time alone and space to think 🙂
It is a lovely hike to the lighthouse. You can either start from Portinatx or go further from Portinatx town and park the car in the small parking nearer to the lighthouse. From there it is a 1.3 km hike. From here, the hike will start inland, however after 10-15 min walk you would be doing cliff walk and will be treated to some of the best views in Ibiza! Please do take care that at some points the cliff walk is narrow. However the hike is easy and safe. This particular lighthouse is the tallest anong the network of 20+ lighthouses on the islands of Ibiza, Mallorca and Menorca.
The walk to the lighthouse is nice and the view stunning. But the lighthouse itself is unspectacular.
Absolutely stunning walk , luckily we saw a regatta passing by as well . One of the most memorable easy trails

The tower is closed, but if You walk down to the beach, it's wild, amazing, totally different from the others in Ibiza. We walked there for three hours from one side - huge rocks, cliffs... to the other side - amazing blue lagoon water.. all this place is walking on rocks bigger and smaller. I can't even describe the surface that You have to walk, but I added video, so I hope it will be more understandable. Beautiful nature here - water, cliffs, rocks, small pools in the middle of them, etc. If You like a little bit dangerous walking than this is for You. I don't suggest this spot with kids, because to be honest there You sould be careful all the time.
Was underwhelming experience. A little building amongst the trees… No views as it’s surrounded by trees and posh villas with the private gates that stop you to get any views from the hill into the bays. I really hoped to get good view and was disappointed.
From Portinatx you could walk here just for a little exercise. Tower is no stars but behind the tower there is a path through the bush. When you reach a wider path, go left! Remember to mark this point! After a while you can enjoy a 2 star view!
Long walk from centre of village , steep inline to view , nothing else when you get their as land made private due to hotel near by
Views are blocked by the trees and the walk there is basically going through a building site. Actual tower is nice to see.
Cool old building worth walking up to
Run down old building you can't see/go inside, no information about it. Not worth the walk.
It's an old tower used to watch for pirates. A lot of lizards now live in the tower. Nice spot to walk by while taking a hike

Definitely the best Market on the Island The last hippie heaven 🏝️ Enjoy San Joan de Labritja 💖
Massive market very hot very crowded. There is a bar always busy but not too long to wait. Serves meals and snacks coffee etc. there is a little place in the market which serves lemon and Orange granita, a welcome oasis.
Nothing original. The atmosphere is good and authentic but the items are overpriced and the market feels commercialised. Happy with the community but disappointed with the market.

This place is stunning! Definitely worth the hike, it takes about 45mins each way, from the carpark, but the walk is nice, not too steep and the view is breathtaking.
Keep the left and follow the path to reach the paradise, one of the best spot in Ibiza.
Just beautiful. Be prepared to walk a bit - but it’s worth it
Very nice Location with a Crazy wide view! You have to Walk 15-20 min from the Parking Place but its worth it. Ps: You cant Drive down by car.!
What a wonderful hidden gem this is. We went on a sunny day in February. The walk was nice and not too hard. We wore normal sneakers and that was sufficient. The views on the way where great but the bay at the end of the walk, topped it all. I definitely recommend this experience.
Beautiful cove but hard to reach. Good shoes necessary and plenty of water. At some point there is a big wall on the left of the road (see picture) , make sure you take the path that goes immediately left in the trees (there is a black arrow indicating it) otherwise you can still reach the water but there won't be any beach.
It's three kilometers down the hill to get there and same up to hill to get back, which is really not and easy way. Better to have normal shoes than flip flops. Beach is small with pebbles and bigger stones. Water is crystal clear. On the cost are boat houses and it makes an atmosphere of old place with history. It's really not for family trip with small kids unless you wanna baer them.
It's a nice hidden spot in Ibiza, if you go by car you'll have to do a little hike (2,5km down and back up) to get to the beach. The beach is full of rocks but it's very quiet and calm, worth visiting.

Totally recommend! We couldn’t use our reservation and they managed to find someone for our slot and return the security deposit! Very approachable and friendly people!
Very batly. Last week we rent a boat. The owner isn’t friendly. The time of shipping was also not correct. The price was a lot of expensiver then they told. He wan’t more money from you when you come back. Please do not rent a boat by an other company than from this one, this one is not correct for rent. Mrs. Marcia from Engeland
Terrible experience with these people. Booked a boat trip with them 3 days ago. We got to the launch then told there was no room on the boat. We were the first to book and them they bumped us off. Poor customer services also, just gave a smile.
This company is disorganised. You do a booking with one booking office who then don't speak to the other office. So when you turn up you find your not booked on the tour. Ruined our day. Be careful with these people.
Super company! They helped us with the directions to the bay, where helpful while explaining how to navigate the boat and where also really nice 🛥️
It was very good Charlie was amazing he was very help full I recommened it too anyone who like boats

This is our second visit, and we love it even more! This time, we didn't have a reservation, but the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodated us without any issues. The food is delicious, and the value for money is unbeatable. Plus, after your meal, you can take a dip in a nearby cove! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!
We came without reservation and still could get a great table with simply fantastic views. The food was good, though nit exceptionl in any way. The avocado Prawn started has cocktail sauce mixed in making it an unnecessarily greasy starter. The dorade was grilled well and the roasted chicken was tasty. Friendly service. Expect your main course to arrive before you have finished your starter.
We came as a group of 8 people for lunch to S’llot des Rencí. We booked a table with a beautiful view. We had a plate of mussels and roasted tomatoes for starters which were great. For mains we were recommended the grilled sea bream from friends. It was delicious but just a bit oily. Overall would recommend if you are in area.
My friends and I had a great afternoon with a very tasty paella. The restaurant is highly recommended. The location is perfect and the service is great. Big applause 👏 👏
Very nice place for romantic dinner or just a meal with friends. Great food, lovely views and friendly and professional service. I tried calamares, paella and gambas and it was Very tasty.
Came here for some lunch and the food was absolutely tasty. The service was fab too! Would defo visit again!
An almost hidden place but with excellent service and fresh fish/food in combination with great views.
Recommended by a local I ate a delicious tuna steak here. The view is gorgeous and there’s a small thin strip of beach below which can get less busy than other places. Service without a smile, but otherwise it was a terrific experience.
