One of the cleanest beach. Good for sporting activities and walk, lot of good restaurants around the beach. Overall a lovely place.
Nice place to have a walk or riding a bike. Safe and lively. It is perfect to enjoy a nice and cold coconut water. I don't recommend bathing in the water, though
Nice place for a walk early in the day
Clean water, friendly people. Place is safe. There's a large and long nice corridor 5 kilometers in front of the beach with amenities in one end. You can sprint on the beach or over the corridor. Airport is close so you can get to the beach even in if you are in a connection of s few hours.
Great beautiful beach to see the ocean. Quality of water must be checked, though.
Such a wonderful beach On Sundays they close the street for pedestrians, bikers, fellow long boarders & more
The area's Best-maintained beach with excellent fitness/exercise facilities plus dining/bar options that are not 'overbearing' to nature's ambiance. I visit daily during my Vitoria stay...
The water is not very clean, neither the beach, but there's a nice pedestrian walk with open free exercise / sport equipment/ to use.

Beautiful park. Great to relax and very interesting for kids to have contact with nature.
Beautiful rock formation and plenty of cats in this well kept, well designed and clean park with a lake, pond and views. Minutes from the airport, makes this park very convenient. Small park signs with information about the area and the pedra da cebola or even a gift shop stand would be a nice addition
Excelent place to have a walk, read or just a picnic. However, it doesn't have any food parlors nearby. Bring your own food
I visited this park with my family last weekend, and we had a fantastic time. The playgrounds are modern and safe for kids, and there’s plenty of open space for picnics and games. The walking paths are wide and clean, making it stroller-friendly.
Beautiful romantic park to visit, a lot of birds and animals
Well maintained park, lots of trees, rocks and open spaces for everybody. Great for picnic.

Popular palm-fringed beach known for its calm water, plus kiosks serving snacks, beers & cocktails.
Slide 1 of 8
Great beach, really good food and calm waters. If you're looking for somewhere to have a calm and pleasing drink in the sun, with the cold waters of the sea real close to you, it's perfect. However, beware the wind, for it is quite strong. If you order farofa and salad, you better eat it further from the shore or it'll fly away.
It’s really lovely quiet water for kids. Best to go there around 12 when the waters clears up. In the mornings the water is dirty and as the day goes gets better. It’s a lovely beach but all the restaurants have dreadful plastic chairs and tables and yet everything to eat is pricey. Parents are usually friendly and allow kids to play together. Which makes it great for kids to make friends and have fun playing beach games.
The kioskis were very good, with good service and accomodations. The sea is quite dark here, it resembles river water. Also the waves are quite weak, so its safer for kids.
Probably one of the top beaches with trees, a marvelous view and the icing on the cake is that it is well protected so always offering good conditions. One side with restaurants and the other one very calm.
Citybeach, good for an afternoon.
A beautiful place and views. Needed: some security enhancements from local authorities to protect people from harassment and thieves.

Opulent 16th-century palace now the seat of the executive branch, offering tours & art exhibits.
Slide 1 of 8
Historic patrimony and government house of Espírito Santo, the Anchieta Palace is a jesuit building, wich was erected between the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries. Originaly, the building functined as a church, named Santiago's Church, and as a school, serving to the religious interests until their expulsion in 1759. Passed many modifocation proccesses in the following centuries, the building still as a house of the government, functioning as a cultural place too, where are recepted several itinerant exhibitions, visits in its permanent collection and, specially at saturdays and sundays, visits in the governor's cabinet, passing through old residential wing.
The English-speaking tour with Alessandro, Roberta & Miguel was exceptional for obvious reasons. They provided the context of events that accompanied the distinct transition s from the early Jesuit founding of what became the President's or later State Governor's Palace plus how & why the actual negotiations were proferred between the parties involved. As these knowledgeable guides led me through private sections of the Palace (tours available only on weekends) they gave documented historical accounts how leadership & decision-making advanced in this rapidly growing state that was first explored in 1488 as settlement began in the 1530's.
Interesting and inspiring place, I enjoyed the modern Galery and participated in guided tour about history
Muito bonito palácio. There is a tomb of Padre José de Anchieta. Also a museum of postal history with some evocative images of old Vitoria.
It is beautiful palace, with lots of interesting details dating back to the 1500's when the Jesuits settle in the area. Michael, our tour guide is an incredible fountain of knowledge and always keeping us interested while showing throughout the palace. I appreciate the opportunity to visit such a beautiful historic location. M. Alwan
One of the most important and historical buildings in the state capital, it is the administrative office of the state government. It usually has a art exhibit there. It's worth the visit, usually takes about 3 hours.
Interesting place to visit. Although the tour guide was certainly biased. He is not much fan of the republic nor of mister Anchieta.

Nice place, a very beautiful church.
(Translated by Google) The Nossa Senhora do Carmo Convent looks like it came straight out of a movie set. The architecture, the quiet atmosphere and the view of the surroundings create an atmosphere that combines peace and enchantment. It's the kind of simple place that wins you over precisely because of that — it has a cozy atmosphere, almost as if time had stopped there. Unfortunately, the structure is clearly in need of renovation. It would be important for the space to undergo restoration, not only for aesthetic reasons, but mainly to preserve this rich heritage of Espírito Santo's history and culture. Even so, it's definitely worth a visit, especially for those who like to visit historic and quieter places. --------------------- If you liked this review, give it a thumbs up and mark it as helpful! The Reitoria Nossa Senhora das Graças – Igreja do Carmo is a historic Catholic church located in downtown Vitória, founded in 1682 by Carmelite priests. Originally part of the Convent of Nossa Senhora do Monte do Carmo, the church has witnessed architectural and social transformations over the centuries. In 1913, its façade was remodeled in the Neo-Gothic style, and in 1984 it was declared a historical heritage site by the State Council of Culture. Currently, the church has been under the administration of the Militiamen of Christ since 2008 and is known for its devotion to Nossa Senhora das Graças, also called Nossa Senhora da Medalha Milagrosa. It offers daily Masses, monthly novenas, and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every first Friday of the month. Its architecture, which combines colonial and Neo-Gothic elements, and its spiritual atmosphere make it a place of reflection and connection with the city's religious history. What a great little place to see turtles that where saved. From baby's to 21 year old. Workers helped explain to me about them, the best part the girls tired to speak to me in English. It made me so happy
We loved the visit so much! We were there just one hour before closing due to traffic, but Livia, one of the monitors there was so kind and patient with the children. She took us to every tank and activity, explained about the turtles, the project, how they grow, reproduce, communicate and live. Also a lot of interesting facts about the different species and how they behave differently in the wild. We had the chance to see the feeding and it was so much fun! Thank you Tamar project for saving the turtles and to Livia for making our visit so special
Very well organized and interesting displays with several aquariums. These animals represent pre-historic life on our planet. Also the location offers many scenic views of Port of Vitoria and harbor operations. Great experience for young and old...
Tamar is a very important project for the conservation of sea turtles in Brazil. There you can see some live turtles in captivity and learn how they did to reverse the conservation status of the species from bad to good. You should definitively visit it.
(I visited this site in mid of 2017.) “Projecto Tamar”,has saved the near extinction of all marine turtles. Projecto Tamar stands for in English,(”Tartagus Marinhas”- in Portuguese) Simply is “Sea Turtle”.This is a active non governmental organization which started in 1980s by few young oceanographic students. Who built a conservative movement to protect Marine turtles. There are few visiting sites & conservation sites along the long coast of brazil. Visit if you get a chance. You will learn about the turtles & the dangers this animals posses etc.The few dollars you spent to visit these sites are being used to good used,as it is funding the Projecto Tamar.

Beautiful architecture and peaceful space I enjoyed observing the art and story that goes beyond any religion story
The Our Lady of Victory Cathedral, also Vitória Cathedral, is a Catholic church in Dom Luiz Scortegagna Square, in the City of Vitória, Brazil. The cathedral is constructed on the site of a structure demolished at the beginning of the 20th century. Construction on the cathedral began in 1920 and was completed in the seventies. It was built on the site where, until 1918, there was a church called Church of Our Lady of Victory (Nossa Senhora da Vitória), which was the main church of the city. It was a colonial style church, which began to be built in 1551, when Victoria was still called Vila Nova, in the period of the first grantee of the captaincy of the Holy Spirit, Vasco Fernandes Coutinho. With the creation of the Diocese of Espíritu Santo (1895) and the appointment of the first bishop, Monsignor Juan Bautista Correia Neri, the church received the title of Cathedral.
