Lovely and peaceful place... It's small but worth it visit. Free admissions and parking.
Great place to visit. Nice place for a brisk walk. A few animals to see. A nice place to relax and have a picnic.
Free entrance and many buses that go there. From the bus terminal there is also another bus that goes to the mirante
A "must go" place while visiting Joinville! Lots of trees, great views, and a small trail for a little hike by the forest.
Beautiful and great even for a picnic. Also, the staff tries to make people understand the importance of wearing a mask all the time during a walk there in this pandemic... It's a pity so many just ignore. Still, the animals look healthy, not stressed, and seem to have plenty of space for their needs.
Nice place do relax and enjoy nature
It's a really good place to be, but also small. Nice and calm. Good for partners, friends and so on... Visits should last about 2 hours, even doing it slowly...

(Translated by Google) 🚲✨ The Bicycle Museum in Joinville is much more than a collection of antiques; it's an invitation to reflect on sustainable mobility and environmental respect today. In times when we seek alternatives for a healthier and more conscious life, the bicycle remains a symbol of freedom, simplicity, and connection with our surroundings. Visiting museums is like traveling back in time, realizing how something so simple can transform cities and lives.🚲🚴🏻‍♂️🚵🏻‍♂️ (Original) 🚲✨ O Museu da Bicicleta em Joinville é muito mais do que um acervo de peças antigas, é um convite para refletirmos sobre a mobilidade sustentável e o respeito ao meio ambiente nos dias atuais. (Translated by Google) With free admission, the Bicycle Memorial is located in a beautiful, enormous building that once housed the railway's cargo terminal. The exhibition space is located in half of this building, which resembles a large warehouse inside. As for the bicycles, there are many, from various brands and countries. Right at the entrance, I was surprised to find a Monark bicycle, a model from the 1970s. The bike was exactly like one I had, right down to the color. The bicycles are separated into sets with explanatory texts that draw analogies to the history of Joinville, all very interesting. There are old bicycles that were found in poor condition and have been restored, children's bicycles, exotic bicycles, and many others. I really enjoyed the experience and recommend it; the visit takes about an hour. Be aware that the memorial closes at 4 PM.

(Translated by Google) The National Museum of Volunteer Firefighters, attached to the Volunteer Fire Department, has a collection of three thousand pieces, documents and photographs, equipment and accessories. The project for the National Museum of Firefighters began in 1992, the year of the first centenary of the Joinville corporation, with the aim of recording the memory of the volunteer work of firefighters in Brazil. It was approved by the Ministry of Education and Culture (MIC) in 1994 and the first module, in Joinville, was inaugurated in 1997 in the presence of President Fernando Henrique Cardoso. Today, the museum has a collection of three thousand large and medium-sized pieces, documents and photographs classified into iconographic collections, clothing, equipment and work accessories, among others. Because it is attached to the CBVJ, one of the differences of the space is its integration with operational activities. Thus, visitors have the experience of living the day-to-day lives of firefighters and even their outings to respond to incidents.

I stopped by this museum after I did the hike at mirante Boa Vista. Small museum but it’s free and it gives you the history of the coast of Brazil especially the coast of Joinville where the indigenous people used to live before the arrival of the colonizers. Very educational. If you like history, then this is the place for you.
One of the best museums I've been recently. Great exposition organization and explanation.
Fascinating exhibition of Native Brazilian artefacts, combined with an introduction to the ‘sambaqui,’ for those unfamiliar. Free entry and parking. Well worth a visit. EDIT: Sambaquis in English are known as middens.
(Translated by Google) Edit: I've come back to explain my comment. As a lover of historical sites, both domestically and internationally, I made my thoughts clear. I didn't say it was an exhibition, but rather that it should be considered a replica. Doubting someone's ability to understand or "absorb" the idea of the place only reinforces what the place conveys: insufficiency. On the day, I saw more than three people enter and leave in less than five minutes with the look on their faces: "Is that all there is to it?" It shouldn't be considered a museum. The place has a room and a hallway with printed materials, some replicas, etc. It's more of an exhibition! If you don't read, it will take you five minutes to see the exhibits.
