Highly recommend visiting this winery when you are in the area, definitely was on the busier side but very much worth it. The property was gorgeous and we went on a tour where we learned a lot about the wine in this region. Before the tour we were able to eat lunch at the restaurant, I would recommend getting a reservation, we were lucky to sit down and eat without one. Food was top notch!! A must visit!
What a wonderful experience in Casas del Bosque vineyard! The staff are super nice and the place is wonderfully decorated. We were super lucky to have a private tour by Alejandro who was super informed and told us all about the wine making process while visiting the different parts of the wine making process. Wine tasting at the end was also excellent, with Alejandro’s narration, in a beautiful tasting room. We did this together with a tasting menu lunch at their Tanino restaurant which is also excellent. A perfect wine tasting experience!! Cannot recommended enough!
A really good visitor experience. A beautiful display area and very knowledgeable guide who answered questions brilliantly and explained really clearly. Oh, and the wines were delicious
We went on a group tour to the winery and had a fabulous time. Christopher was our guide, sommelier and out right expert on everything WINE. :) He spoke fantastic English and playfully bantered with us the entire time. Highly recommend the wines and the experience.
Amazing winery had the tasting with the tour and then lunch beautiful scenery and the wines were delicious extremely fair pricings
Christoper was an excellent tour guide. He made the experience fun and informative. Very impressed with his thorough knowledge and demeanor
Absolutely gorgeous grounds and wines to match. Enjoyed a great tour of this stunning modern winery as well as tasting of two whites and two reds. I have visited wineries all across the world but this experience was truly among the best in my 40 years of exploring winemaking.
Wine and food are amazing while the winery view is beautiful.

Great wine tasting experience. A leader in organic wine business. The guy did an excellent job introducing us to the important points to take note in wine tasting. The place has a nice view of the mountains. Has alpaca farm.
I visited this beautiful location for a wine tasting. While the two organic wines I sampled weren't to my personal taste, they might appeal to other palates. This producer is apparently one of the largest organic wineries in the world. A highlight of the visit was seeing alpacas up close.
This was a highly enjoyable and informative visit to an organic winery located in the picturesque wine growing region near Casablanca Chile which is a little inland from Valparaiso. Our guide at the winery provided an excellent overview of the winery and the vineyards. He spoke fluent English, was professional and courteous. The actually wine tasting portion of the tour was pleasant and enlightening. The shop at the winery was nicely organized and elegant. The staff at the shop were courteous and English speaking. The restroom was clean and well maintained. This distinguished winery is well worth a visit when in the Valparaiso region and successfully showcases the professionalism and high quality of the Chilean wine industry.
Not the largest scale winery, but that’s why we loved it. Felt very quaint and the property was stunning with all the plants and animals walking around. We were almost the only ones there so got to sit at the bar inside and talk with the lovely staff the whole time. Their red blend was delicious and the tasting was accompanied by chocolate pairing which was the best!
Highly recommended for sure! Had a tasting Emiliana as part of a casablanca tour but the wines were of great quality! Kudos to the team for the warm hospitality! Defintely don't sleep on the Gê and the Coyam! The Adobe Sauvignon Blanc was also really good!
Beautiful sustainable winery! It's definitely worth a visit (or two, as was my case 🙂). The wines are very good, especially the local Coyam and the Gewurztraminer. Plus, we had the chance to take a stroll through the winery, their organic farm, visit their chickens, and pet the alpacas! It was a wonderful experience.
We visited Emiliana winery with our children for a tour and were very impressed. The tour guide was excellent and able to answer even our most difficult questions. Snacking on grapes while walking and petting the local llamas, the tour was enjoyable for both adults and children. We were a bit worried about the tasting, because although we were told the kids would get grape juice. how do you make them drink during the whole tasting? Imagine our surprise, when the kids had 4 different grape juices to match our wines and got their personalized tasting experience! Recommend visiting!
Beautiful location and grounds. Loved feeding the alpacas olive leaves. Welcoming staff.

Martin our guide was absolutely amazing, I have been to hundreds of vineyards and this was definitely among the best presentations that I have ever heard. Martin is very knowledgeable and tells a fantastic story about the wines and the vineyard. Wines are fantastic, highly recommended to any wine lovers out there
We arrived without a reservation (off season) and were able to enjoy a wine tasting and presentation by Caesar, who was an excellent host, without delay. Caesar speaks English, and is very friendly and has a great sense of humour. Chose not to take the full tour but very much enjoyed the talk and tasting. Bought three bottles and left happy 😜
I arrived here first thing in the morning for a 9:30am tour. Seeing the sun rise over the vineyards was spectacular, and when I arrived I was the only one for the tour. Since I arrived a little earlier than scheduled, I was able to get a coffee from their coffee bar and look around the vineyard and take some photos. The Bodega itself is very beautiful, with a sweeping vaulted roof and a lot of interesting displays - almost like a mini-museum. My tour guide was Martin, who spoke both English and Spanish. He was terrific and provided me a fabulous tour all around the facility. He is very knowledgeable, and provided plenty of opportunities for me to ask questions throughout the tour. After, when it was time for the tasting, he spent some time talking to me about some of the other, rarer wines that they make and sell, and this was extremely helpful when choosing wines to take home with me back to the states. I didn't feel rushed at all, and was able to discuss each wine in detail with him, and also his own personal favorites. I am very grateful for his patience and guidance as I wanted to ensure I brought a couple great wines back to enjoy during the holidays. The wines themselves were terrific and were paired very well. When making the reservation, you have the option to add some other items, which for me consisted of a muffin and orange juice since I hadn't had time to eat breakfast prior to my arrival. I really liked how well organized the entire facility is. As soon as the tour was completed, the wine tasting, pairing, and additional items I had ordered were already setup neatly and ready for me. Not a thing here was out-of-place. I know this is one of the more popular stops on the Casablanca wine route, but now I understand the reason. It's beautiful, inviting, well-organized, informative, and immaculately clean. The bodega has a terrific variety of wines on offer, and service is very helpful and friendly. I left with two nice bottles of wine, and I cannot wait to enjoy them at Christmas with the family. My only hiccup came when I was trying to get there via Google Maps. I was coming from Valparaiso, and the map directions had me go to the employee entrance on the western side of the vineyard. The main visitor entrance is actually right off Route 68, on the east side of the vineyard. It wasn't a big deal because the guard at the employee entrance let me in and told me where to go. Shout-out to him for this help! Overall, I am very happy I visited this beautiful vineyard. It was a great way to start my day, and I would recommend a visit here as a first stop on you wine tour of the valley, especially since they open early. Just be sure you make your reservations prior to visiting, and plan to spend at least a couple hours here. It will be well worth it!
Came on a tour and really enjoyed the tour and enthusiasm. It is very commercialized but the views are pretty and there is a nice gift shop. Definitely one of the better tours but not a great tasting.
Visited on a wine tasting tour! What a beautiful facility, and with great wines and prices! Tasted a white and a red wine. Both were delicious! Taking this tour with #turistik from Santiago was great.
Excellent tour & lunch. Delicious food and great service, absolutely loved it
I went on a wine tour at Veramonte vineyard in Chile this morning and had a fantastic experience. Our tour guide, Josefa, was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and engaging. She expertly explained the history of the vineyard and interacted with everyone in the group, making sure we all had a great time. One thing I would like to highlight is the fact that our group of 19 people from different nationalities was on a tight schedule, and there wasn't much time to deviate from the planned itinerary. Despite this, Josefa went out of her way to ensure that everyone received the same level of information, even a gentleman with mobility impairment who arrived late and couldn't walk at the same speed as the rest of us. Josefa walked back to provide him with the same information that everyone else had received beforehand, demonstrating her excellent humanity even though she had time pressure. In addition to the great tour guide, the gentleman in the shop, Julio, was outstanding. He gave us a different red wine to taste when the one we tried wasn't to our liking. We ended up bringing home two bottles of the wine we tasted, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff at Veramonte vineyard was also incredibly friendly and welcoming, greeting everyone who passed by. This added to the overall enjoyable experience. What’s magical about Veramonte is the fact that it’s committed to sustainability and has implemented a number of initiatives to reduce its environmental impact. The winery uses renewable energy sources, recycles its wastewater, and has implemented organic and biodynamic farming practices. 👏🏻 I highly recommend the wine tour at Veramonte vineyard in Chile. With excellent staff, quality wines, and beautiful scenery, it's a must-visit for wine enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
Great place. Organic magic. Their wine was really good. I tried several ones and they were all ver y nice. Of course my favorite was one of their white wine. What a wonderful wine. I will be back here soon and will be purchasing more wine from here. I should have use the option to ship them home. What a wonderful experience. I recommend this place to all the wine entusiastas.

Incredible experience and great wine! George was a great tour guide and they had unique, well balanced, types of wine. The tour included liquor tasting, see their balsamic vinegar storage room, and the wine cellar. 11/10 would tell anyone in Casablanca Valley this is a must visit.
It’s very pleasant place made with love and with extremely nice stuff taking care of visitors. Our guide Ramon is very passionate and professional about what he is doing. Wines are super nice and the tour before tasting made our experience 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!
Wonderful experience. Wines sampled were all enjoyable, staff was attentive informed and went the extra mile to accommodate us in English. Setting was tastefully decorated, with a lot of thought into the decore. Would rate this as a top experience for our stay in Casablanca. Tasting fee was very reasonably priced.
Experienced a great tour and tasting of 5 wines, led by Macarena. She possesses great knowledge of the estate and its wines and was able to articulate her knowledge very well. We bought in total 2 bottles of wine and 2 bottles of Balsamico. Greatly recommended! 2 PAX, low season
A quirky style of wine, all a little different yet great to try. A lovely little place to enjoy a tasting and wine tour.
Seba took us on a fantastic tour yesterday. His level of depth of explanations blew the other place we went to out of the water. Learned a lot with him and enjoyed what Bodegas RE had to offer during the tasting. This place is more about depth of character and intimacy than surface glitz (though it has that too). We bought some wine but we’re going to return to get some balsamic vinegar as well haha!
LOVR ITTT THEIR WINE IS SOOOO GOOD AND THERE TIRAMISU AND PIZZA I RECCOMEND YOU COME HERE
We had a great time with our guide learning about this extraordinarily innovative vineyard making small quantities of balsamic vinegar, wines and liqueurs. The flavours are fantastic and we really enjoyed the food pairing experience. Thank you.

This winery was fantastic. Back in 2019 we had a charcuterie board and a wine tasting and all of the choices were fantastic. We took the metro and then a taxi to get here. I was out for the rest of the day.
Hands down the best winery experience we’ve ever had! From start to finish, everything was perfect. Hana gave us exceptional service — friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole visit so enjoyable. The wines were absolutely incredible, each one better than the last, and the views were simply breathtaking. We didn’t want to leave! This place is a must-visit if you’re in the Casablanca valley region.
Hannah was a delight, clearly she has a passion and love for the winery! The view is also spectacular and we could have sat there for hours! Tour was great and we loved the cheese plate we purchased. Still trying to figure out how to make the whipped mascarpone cheese with cherries, one of the best things I’ve ever ate. After visiting 10 wineries this was my favorite, go! Also they have a wine club and could ship to the US.
As someone who loves going to wineries when I am home and also wherever I travel, this is a top contender for my favorite winery ever. The views/grounds are stunning, the staff were so lovely, and the food and wine were fantastic. It is a must visit if you are in the area. Thank you Carolina and the rest of the staff for taking such great care of us.
Great wine, fantastic facilities, and the best staff! We came for a tour, tasting, and lunch, and everything was fantastic all around. Hanna was very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Kingston for anyone traveling to Casablanca, Santiago, or Valparaiso. This has definitely been a highlight of our trip, and we will be back on our next trip to Chile!
🌟 Final Day in Santiago & An Incredible Experience at Kingston Family Vineyards 🍷 Location: Casablanca Wine Region, Chile Date: Wednesday, 05 November 2025 Weather: 51-76°F Today, Chuck and I had the pleasure of visiting the Kingston Family Vineyards for an unforgettable private Chilean cooking class paired with a delightful three-course lunch. Our local guide, Jose, took us off a remote country road and onto a hidden palm-lined drive, heightening our anticipation as we approached the stunning winery. As we stepped out of our vehicle, we were warmly welcomed by Carolina, our personal hospitality associate, who greeted us with a refreshing glass of Rosé. She introduced us to the intimate tasting salon that offered breathtaking views of the Casablanca Valley and shared the rich history of the Kingston family and their vineyards. Our adventure began with an enlightening tour of the property, winery, and cellar, culminating in a fabulous barrel tasting of their 2022 Kingston Family CJ Syrah—absolutely stunning! Next, we joined Chef Rodrigo for an incredible cooking class. We were excited yet curious about the day’s menu. Our first task was to prepare a marinated Chilean Yellowfin Tuna Sashimi, complemented by pumpkin flatbread, Chilean pebre (similar to pico de gallo), guacamole purée, and a Chardonnay Sour reminiscent of a Pisco Sour. After impressing Chef Rodrigo with our culinary skills, we enjoyed our Chardonnay Sour on the open-air veranda, soaking in the beauty of the Casablanca Valley. The sashimi was paired perfectly with a 2024 Kingston Family Sauvignon Blanc, showcasing Chef Rodrigo’s artistry in presentation and flavor. The culinary journey continued with two more exquisite courses, including a mouthwatering grilled beef filet, each paired impeccably by Carolina. The grand finale was a refreshing raspberry sorbet drizzled with chocolate Pinot Noir sauce and fresh strawberries, accompanied by a delightful 2023 Kingston Family Merlot—simply fantastic! All the Kingston Family wines we tasted today were beautifully crafted: well-rounded with a great tannic structure, perfectly balanced, and boasting vibrant acidity. The pairings were spot on—simply, wow! Kingston Family Vineyards masterfully blends the best of Old and New World winemaking, producing small lots of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Sauvignon Blanc from their cool climate, hillside vineyards. They are one of the few Chilean vineyards harnessing Californian viticulture expertise to unlock the potential of their unique terroir, led by their talented winemaker, Andres Campana. We highly recommend this extraordinary gastronomic excursion for anyone visiting Chile’s Casablanca wine region. It was an outstanding experience, and we can’t wait to return! Cheers, Susan and Chuck
We were fortunate to have a wine pairing luncheon at Kingston Family Winery with Martin as our host. He first provided an interesting tour of the facility. For the luncheon he described the dishes (and made recommendations) and detailed the wines paired with the food. He was really good and the food and wines were superb! Highly recommended!
My husband surprised me with a cooking class/ lunch and wine paring. From start to finish the whole experience was amazing. Karolena greeted us with 2 glasses of their rose, then briefed us on what we were doing. Because we aren’t fluent in Spanish she translated between the chef and us, though I understood majority of what the chef was saying. She was a great teacher. We made he first 2 courses with her of our 5 course lunch. We then moved to the patio for lunch and wine pairing. Seriously the view was everything in itself. Breathtaking. Karolena explained each course and wine perfectly. The food was amazing! The wine was amazing! The company was amazing. The view and vibe was amazing! The courses came at a good pace and we didn’t feel rushed. A con is each course was quite large for it being a 5 course meal. We had a couple bites each course to be able to taste and experience each one without feeling too full by the end. Thankfully they let us take away what we didn’t finish. They’re a smaller more boutique vineyard and can give more of a personable experience to each group or person. The 4 hours we were there, 3 other groups, about 8 people came and went. So very chill which added to the overall experience. I would definitely go back again for the hospitality, food, wine, and overall experience and vibe.

There's no restaurant but we this was our second stop. We were welcomed by Barbara who did our tasting, she is completely bilingual and was able to explain everything in English. She gave us a quick tour of the winery as well. The wine was exquisite and super affordable. We bought 8 bottles! You gotta visit this winery while in Casablanca. Highly recommend. Beautiful building as well.
Excellent experience here. We didn't book a tour but just asked the guard at the gate to enter to visit "la tiende" (shop). After driving up the hill, the views were stunning. We asked in the shop if we could try some wines. They quickly arranged a tasting for us (we were able to share two tastings between four of us, $24000 total). They also let us look in the cellar and explore the facilities. I would highly recommend this vineyard as a quick stop in or for a tour.
Amazing stop on the Ruta de Vinas. We asked for the restaurant but the friendly gate man explained it was closed but that the tienda was open. We were welcomed up to the castle, partook in some tastings, bought several bottles of wine and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff we're amazing, and the grounds we're very beautiful. Todo es bonito aquí.
Visited March 2020. We did a tasting and toured the vineyards which are beautiful as part of a 3-winery tasting tour. Elegant interior space. The walk alone is gorgeous and the wines did not disappoint. We hope your tourist trade returns soon. Stay safe! Recommended.
Smaller vineyard with first class facilities... Excellent tour in English, finished off with a wine tasting and no heavy sales pitch at the end. Food in the restaurant was a little expensive but had great flavor, beautiful presentation, excellent service... Of course, since we were the only ones there at the time, you would expect that, wouldn't you? In the end, a beautiful day in a beautiful vineyard.
Nice facilities and a lovely view. The look is a bit over the top ... like a Bond villian's wine lair. But the place is nice and the staff was friendly. I don't think the wines are as good as many of the competitors particularly on price. However, you can arrange your own tasting at a very reasonable price of 1000-2000 for a very generous sample. We didn't eat there so I can't comment.
Absolutely lovely winery serving up some of the most delicious wines in the region. They have a massive variety of both whites and reds from chardonnays to merlot. Came here as part of a large tour group which included a wine tasting for a portion of the trip and was pleasantly surprised by the lovely not too heavy wines they had to sample. Come check this place out if you get the chance or if you're traveling between Valparaiso and Santiago. Great place to pick up some wine at great discounts compared to the markets in the city.
Beautiful winery! The view at the top is breathtaking. Live music was a fantastic and talented violinist. Wine was good, they are mostly known for their white wines.

They have a really unique wine tour here! The tour that we chose starts out with the receptionist asking you to choose an umbrella to grab since most of the tour is outside (with the hot and favorable sun). You move on into a horse drawn carriage and the guide shows you the property & takes you to the stables where you get to see a small horse show. They show you different moves of the horses, the traditional outfits that the people wear and you even get a photo opportunity with the horse & it's trainer. You move on into the main warehouse where they show you how the process of wine making has evolved. The wooden sculptures they had was amazing, the way it's set up with the attention to detail was extremely enjoyable to me. The guide gave us a bit of history of the wines Chile offers, what they do or can't produce and the reason as to why, along with fun facts of product packaging (i.e. box wines, why some companies choose not to use corks) My favorite part was obviously at the end where you get to sample different wines that the boutique offers! The guide that we had was extremely knowledgeable of his craft and you can tell he enjoys what he does! Definitely recommend! The property is absolutely beautiful, there are plenty of photo opportunities here. Side note: For families traveling with children or people whom don't drink wine, at the end of the tour if you can request juice!
We visited El Cuadro for a guided tour in March 2025. Roberto was our tour guide and he was absolutely fantastic! The tour was very interesting, and they explained the history of Chilean wine very well. We would definitely recommend for other tourists. His English was excellent!
Had a wine mixing event here and dinner. It was pretty good.
Nice place for lunch or events. There is a small museum. Located among beautiful vineyards.
Wine tours was excellent. Our bilingual tour guide, roberto, made it a most enjoyable experience for us
Our visit to Estancia El Cuadro was one to remember. It is situated off the beaten road from Santiago to Casablanca in a valley full of rolling hills and vineyards. The food was fantastic. It featured a full, five-course meal with drinks to start it off and an optional tea or coffee to finish. I chose the salmon for my main dish and was not disappointed! If you have the opportunity to explore the vineyards outside of Santiago, Estancia El Cuadro is a great option.
Wonderful tour and winery.
One of the most beautiful places on Earth. The scenery almost looks fake and the landscaping is perfection. Lunch was special.

I actually learned a lot about sparkling wine here. Still not my preference, but it's cool to know the history and what goes into it.
A refined and thoughtful dining experience — with room for a small sustainability improvement I visited this restaurant on a quiet Monday around midday, without a reservation and with the sole intention of discovering their culinary offering — and it was truly memorable. The space is serene and beautifully designed, and the staff offer attentive, warm, and professional service from start to finish. Their concept is quite unique: they serve only tasting menus with wine pairings — 10, 6, or 4 courses, each paired thoughtfully with wines. I opted for the 4-course menu with pairing, and I must say, it was a delightful surprise. Each dish was rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and the wine selections elevated the experience even further. The pacing, care, and attention to detail really made it clear that this team is passionate about what they do. My only gentle suggestion — and one I hope the restaurant considers — is to offer a lighter or more flexible menu option. Even the 4-course set was very generous, and while everything was excellent, I unfortunately couldn’t finish all of it. It felt like a missed opportunity to be more aligned with sustainable dining practices, especially considering how thoughtful every other aspect of the experience was. That said, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to indulge in a high-quality, well-executed gastronomic experience. It's definitely a gem for lovers of good food and wine.
We stopped by for a drink early afternoon. We went to the bistro and were offered a pre-fix menu for 4 or 6-course meals. The menu items seemed very good but we just had lunch so we opted to have drinks only. We had a glass of Cabernet and a glass of ice sweet wine. We were both not a huge fan of those two drinks. They were ok for us. However I liked the atmosphere, sitting on the patio overlooking the vineyard.
We had a lovely picnic with the best company, the chickens... This place is epic and the food they provided was very good.
What a beautiful building with an added bonus of amazing wine. It was 2 in our party. Did the tasting with the meal. The staff was flexible to make changes to the menu. They were also prompt to serve the wine with the meal and explained in detail what was being poured. Unfortunately no one spoke English so I had to translate. There was a large party behind us only speaking English as well. Bilingual staff is beneficial
We were able to last minute book a tour and tasting at this winery and we had a great time. Alvaro (sp?) was our tour guide and he was excellent. The wines and cheese board were delicious! We did the premium wines tour because we prefer red wines and it did not disappoint. The views were beautiful at this vineyard and the staff was very friendly and pleasant. Hope to visit this viña another time we visit Chile. Thank you for a great visit 🇨🇱
A vision of loveliness. Miles of vines. Excellent prices although we did not try or buy. The hacienda was magnificent, the staff kind and caring. The ladies room beautiful and clean. Recommend.
Beautiful place! Delicious wines! Nice and knowledgeable staff! Alvaro was our server, he was kind and super friendly, he spoke good English too! I told him it was my birthday so he brought extra glasses of sparkling wine for me to try. We had a lovely evening, will be coming back on a weekend to try the food for sure! 100% worth the trip. Thank you so much Alvaro for making our visit so special 😊

I highly recommend this vineyard because it is located in a very special location within Casablanca Valley. This particular property has a unique microclimate, that allows to the winemaker producing red wines in a valley intended for whites. They now are producing magnificent blends as well, so I invite you to book a tour and tasting in this winery. The sommelier, Alejandra, is extraordinary and she will give you one of the best moments in this magical valley, learning from the soil composition to the acidity or the body of one specific wine. And she knows very well how to add value to a glass of wine in front of you. She's great!!!
We arrived a bit late and without booking so the tour was a definite "no" even though they didn't look busy at all. We still enjoyed a glass of wine in the cute garden. Beautiful property.
It was an amazing experience at this Vineyard. We took around 40 minutes to get there. I would suggest you to contact first Alejandra to book a tour with her. She was quite professional because she told us the story of this place and brought us to the place where the wine is created and the green areas and also wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and prepare to tasting really good Chilean wines. (By Karina Ortiz, David Sandoval, Maribel Sánchez)
Lovely spot! Good wines and wonderful staff!
Some advices to visit Loma Larga Vineyards: - Your going to be outside, so make sure you wear comfortable shoes and clothes. - If you are foreigner you can choose between 3 languages, Spanish, English and French. - Bring sunscreen. Its a really nice place, with very nice people you can have a better experience if you follow this advices. Esteban Víctor Esteban
It was a really joyfull and informative experience. Alejandra showed us all the process of the production of wine in the vineyard and then we had a wine tasting where she also teached us how to taste it. From now our relation with wine is different, and we fully reccommend to visit Loma Larga and live the experience. Consuelo Garay and Diego Chousal.
A beautiful property and Vineyard. A tasting or tour is recommended, all the wines were wonderful. The staff that helped us were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I highly recommend a tour or tasting here.
It was a very educative experience, some advice would be that take something to wear that be more warm because there are many changes of climates between the vineyards and the wineries. Karen Valdivia and Matías Toro

Wonderful place to visit. Stunning wine, food and people. An amazing experience at a boutique winery. Highly recommended. David and Judy were willing and eager to explain so much and the Chef was fantastic .
A nice experience in the last corner of this beautiful valley. This vineyard is not the common "wine factory" but a special place where the people know very well how to make good white wine....and they love it. I invite you to visit this hidden winery and enjoy a lunch paired with delicious wines. You won't regret!!!
Great small producer of Sauvigon Blanc, Syrah and Rose. Worth the trip.
Because we live in Olmué we often have visitors (Chilean, other S American countries or USA) who want to "visit some wineries" in the Casablanca valley. We could go to the Big Box Store versions of wineries and move along with the hoard of tourists, spending lots of money to have a nice experience. Good wines are everywhere in Chile. But exceptional wines accompanied by educational and personalized tours with Karla Montt hostess and Andres Pinto sommelier, becomes an adventure of discovering a real gem. A little difficult to find but well worth the effort. Make reservations. spend the afternoon and luxuriate in the personalized attention at one of the best wineries in the region.
We had a wonderful tour at La Recova. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel like home. One of our best experiences in Chile, highly recommended! Thanks guys! Jessie & Joy
Excellent wines but not handy
A new vineyard and growing
(Translated by Google) Very nice place, totally unknown to me. On the day of the visit there was a grape harvest festival, everything was spectacular and entertaining, food, dancing, meeting people and enjoying a pleasant moment. Of the wines, the Rosé Obstinado was wonderful, and the Syrah had a unique flavor. A place that yes or yes we must visit again. It is appreciated that the day was magnificent, allowing for some beautiful photographs.

It was a great experience. A fun, authentic horse show and a delicious lunch.
My favorite place to go on holidays! Great country atmosphere.
Nice place to have a idee of the Chilean country live. Nice food and nice pisco sour
Good food and entertainment with the horses. However, I like a peaceful environment when I eat and not super loud music blazing in my ear... had to walk outside for some quiet.
Best chilean rustic style food and ambience around the zone.
Great place and the food is awesome I highly recomend it
Very nice countryside emvironment place.

Great wine, great host! Bottle are very well priced
There was a young gentlemen giving us a taste of the wines of this winery and more importantly: sharing his enthusiasm for good wines with us. He did a fantastic job and made this morning into a memorable event.
The wine is excellent

I was visiting Chile for my birthday and made it a point to visit this vineyard during my stay, and I am so very glad I did. I will start by saying that the location is absolutely gorgeous. The winery is located on the top of a hill, and from there you can see some incredible views of the surrounding vineyards. I reserved a premium tour and wine tasting for the afternoon, and a reservation at the restaurant for dinner after. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Alejandra, who would be my tour guide. She offered me the choice of having the tour in Spanish or English, and as I was the only one, we were able to begin the tour immediately. Alejandra was phenomenal! She told me the story of the winery, including its history, growth and development over the years, and plans for the future. We explored the mechanics of the winery itself, and I was able to get a deep look into the wine-making process, and how they are experimenting with new methods of aging and fermentation, including the use of glass to ferment and age the wine. Outside, she explained how the grapes are planted according to variations of sun exposure on different hill faces, how very localized soil variations can greatly affect the taste of the final product, and how the grapes varieties are chosen for planting. She was able to answer any questions I had, and I didn't feel rushed at all. She was also kind enough to offer to take photos of me during the tour so I could share them with friends and family. I didn't even have to ask! After the tour, I was taken to the very lovely outdoor terrace for dinner. Since I was by myself, Alejandra offered to sit with me and continue chatting while also explaining the wines I was going to try and how to pair them. I was grateful for her willingness to spend the time with me, especially since it was a special birthday trip for me, and also my first trip since losing my fiance last year. Her kindness and empathy meant so much to me, and I was so appreciative of her company at the table. It was by far the highlight of my day, if not the entire week. I really felt right at home. As for the food, it was SUPERB! The marvelous chef came out frequently to ensure that everything was cooked exactly as I wanted, and I have to say - it really was cooked to perfection. Everything I ordered was incredibly tasty and well-portioned and paired with the wines I was tasting. Since I was driving, I also appreciated that I did not feel rushed at all and they ensured that I had plenty of water at the table to drink. It was a perfect way to end my day, with the setting sun over the vineyards and great food and company. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend a visit to this one-of-a-kind vineyard. It's a little off the main wine route (about 15 minutes from route 68), but still easy to get to and well worth it. I would recommend budgeting at least three hours here, especially if you plan to eat at the restaurant (you most definitely should), and if you come in the late afternoon, you can get some beautiful photos as the sun begins to set over the hills (I visited in late September when the days are still shorter). I am so glad I chose to visit, and thanks to Alejandra and all the wonderful staff at Villard I had a magical experience I will remember for the rest of my life.
The place is beautiful. The wine tasting great with nice generous pours, and a beautiful charcuterie and cheese board and the personal very friendly. The best value in the valley in my opinion
Crazy beautiful setting. The staff was incredibly friendly. The food and wine were good. An awesome stop for a meal while hopping around the Casablanca Valley. This place was a highlight of our time in Chile.
Absolutely loved this winery. It was so serene, beautiful vistas, great service, yummy bar menu, and good wine. They are a small team and seem to want to maintain offering individualized attention; they spoke English and Spanish. Our toddler liked roaming around and playing with the dogs. We contacted them by whats app an hour before arriving and got a seat on a Friday at noon. One couple was there when we arrived and otherwise we had the place to ourselves.
Wonderful day visit in early October. Staff were professional and most welcoming. Delicious meal with superb wines. Wish we could return regularly but it is a bit far from Montreal Canada. Fortunately we can access the wines through Opimian Wine Club in Canada
This place is magic and special. I'd definitely recommend it if you are looking for an intimate vineyard visit in the Casablanca area. Villard is a few miles off the main road and it's not a huge winery like the ones by the freeway. I mean, the place is majestic with 360° views of the vineyard, but the infrastructure and restaurant only seat about 30 to 40 people, so you'll get to enjoy your tasting or lunch with privacy and stunning views. Their wines are tasty and their food delicious. We ordered the steak and the paté and they were both memorable!
Came here without a reservation and we got a tasting flight on the spot. The sommelier spoke excellent English for us and was very descriptive with explaining the 4 wines. It was a lovely service with a beautiful view. Cost was 20.000 Chilean pesos per person
Vallard was our 2nd stop on the private Wein Wine tour in the Casablanca area. Wow: the views, the wine, the food, the service, the table overlooking the vineyard. We enjoyed every moment of our 2 hour stop that breezed by. Our service team of mother and son talked about the different vintages and how the mountain slopes held different grapes that needed different levels of wind, sun, cooling. Food was so good. I had salmon tartare, my husband had chicken in a sauce, along with appetizers and dessert. We never would have found this place without Patricia. It was great to have a quick tour of the winery and see the bottling underway (Sept so they were bottling Sav. Blanc). Interesting to see that they bottle but don’t label, instead the store bottles in giant bins and then put on a label to meet the needs of the local market. A must-do winery in Casablanca. Highly recommend for food, wine, and the experience.
