Beautiful little area. There is no beach per se, however, the little area is very clean, new with tons of shops and space to watch the sunset or shop. It is a very recommendable spot to come while in João Pessoa for the souvenir possibilities and to see the area/music/sunset.
Most popular sunset in Brazil. 🌅 However, if you want more beautiful ones, try Barra Grande, Bahia, or the dunes of Lençois Maranhenses. What’s special here is that the music is nice; also there are free bathrooms. Other than that it’s pretty crowded.
Nice touristic spot to see the sunset. It's basically a street following the river with bunch of small stores to buy souvenirs and food. You can park your car for free at the public designated area, but you will have an army of people trying to make your park before on their area for 5 reais. That's not a lot to pay, but if you don't want to, ignore them and park at the end on the left.
This place is really beautiful and charming Come by the sun set and you will by able to hear Ravel's Bolero The sound and the sight comes together and make it a magic place There are many shopping and eating There are bars and restaurants You can go on the boat to see the sun set
Very nice, but simple. Lots of shops with neat tourist items and some restaurants. Running the gauntlet of people trying to "sell" a parking space is annoying. Of course, Bolero at sunset is the highlight.
Best place to watch the sunset over the Rio Paraíba! There is a saxaphone player on the river at sunset! Lots of small merchants and places to eat.
Amazing Place. Best Sunset view...
The most beautiful sunset in the Sertão.

Great Ducth fortress. I saw a play there and it was great.
An important historical landmark left alone without proper maintenance and signs. No timeline, no guided stations with written information, rusting cannons, grass all over the place, dirt and solid residues in the back. Tickets sell for R$2 a person (US$ 0.30) which obviously don't cover basic costs. No companies sponsor the site although it is next door neighbor to Petrobras and the Port of Cabedelo. It is a must visit place in a dismal condition.
The only vestige of the Portuguese military presence in this area from the 17th century, if you are in the area and like history, it’s worth a visit. Unfortunately, there is almost no information about the history of the structure or the few displays within it, and the fort is not complete (one point of the star-shaped fort appears to have been demolished to accommodate the neighboring Port of Cabedelo).
Its a good place tô know histiric moments on Brazil. The runter of whale. You can take good pictures.
A beautiful place and important in Brazilian history, unfortunately hasn't been in good conditions, guess it's die to the pandemic
There is no much big interesting items inside. The architecture is 'okay'.
Nice place... it's necessary pay 2R$ to get in with guide or not.

Beautiful experience, possible to enjoy with 1 year old baby. Good service of snacks and drinks.
Careful with the scam! One of the boats that stay in the island selling drinks and food added an extra zero when charging my debit card. They ask you to check the amount, then they distract you, and hand you the card machine for the password. Luckily I saw the printed copy, and stayed there until they returned me the money. My bill was BRL 50 and they charged me 500.02. First they guy insisted it was 2 cents only, then he said the machine had a problem and it was the second time that happened that day, then he blamed me for putting the extra zero. He said he had no cash to give me back, and only after 30 min he finally made a payment to my bank account. I wonder how many people fall for this every day. It’s a small boat, white and blue. The name of the establishment in the receipts is Maria Liege Ferreira Duarte, however the boat has no identification. Photo of the boat attached.
Nice place for a one time visit, the boat ride and water were calm. We visited on a week day and the beach was not crowded nor the boat we were on. I did see another boat from lucky travel arrive that was very crowded.
Awesome. Worth seeing it

(Translated by Google) I asked them to pack 2 kilos of nuts divided into packages of + or - 300 grams/each as I would take them to SP as souvenirs. They said I should take what was packaged (250 g packages from a few days ago and with a price on the label). I insisted that I would like them to pack what was freshest and without price (2 men had just ordered the same thing and were served). They must hate women because with me it was NO, NO is NO. I felt cornered, I took the packages and paid. When I realized the situation I was in, I asked for the card to be refunded and was almost beaten. I won't be back. Sell it to males and keep the nuts for yourselves. Me senti acoada, peguei os pacotes e paguei. Quando percebi a situação em que estava, pedi o estorno do cartão e quase apanhei. Não volto mais. Vendam pra machos e fiquem com as castanhas pra vocês.
