Nice thermal pools with some different options also suitable for children, hot water pools up to 42 degrees Celsius. Great ice cream available as well as snacks and drinks. Some nice areas to relax in between.
We went on a Saturday night and it was super crowded, many kids and children. When we were there, that the whole place smelled like urine. The infrastructure is nice though. Maybe it will be better to go in the mornings.
Very nice place! You have 6 pools goung from 36° to 43° and an additional big swimming pool! The thermal waters were really relaxing 😍! Maybe better to come during the week, when there is less people....
Lots of pools with different temperatures. Really nice and relaxing
Well built but the amount of people who go at the same time is tremendous! The pools are not really big and unless you like to be in caldron with 16 more people all tight together at 41 degrees centigrade then this is not your place.
We really enjoyed it on a day in the rainy season. It has 7 different pools with water between 24-43°C. Visit it after a afternoon at Wakanki when the moon is shining!!!! Might be busy on weekends!
The best hot springs in the state
Definitely a natural and unique place to visit. The Thermal "jacuzzis" are a good way to relax. The 20 soles per 10 minutes massage is a rip off.

A very pleasant place to visit, there's a restaurant and a couple of ice cream shops here as well This is where you can go down to the river for boat tours and look at the houses painted with murals.
Trees have now grown to obscure most of the view. But, if you find yourself in Moyobamba for some strange reason, you may as well take a look as there really isn't much else to do.
A gorgeous view of the valley in a very cute and hidden part of Moyobamba!
One of the nicest places in the city for food and entertainment
Beautiful view of the river and jungle.

The guide was amazing and very knowledgeable about the area we visited. We were lucky enough to enjoy this setting entirely on our own and got to see 3 types fo monkeys, an ant eater, a giant male sloth and so to many birds to count. It was well worht the travel and i highly recommend. Bring bug spray!
Incredible experience, very friendly people, different guides throughout the day. We got to see different animals and also liked the walks in the rainforest as well as the visit of the vanillia and coffee plantation. They also prepare vegetarian food on request.
One of the best experiences of my life. We went on a camping trip to La Tingana from Saturday 7am to Sunday pm. It was just amazing. The people was so friendly and welcoming. We went on awesome trips in the amphibian forests during the night and also during the day. We ate amazing food, we caught some fishes and they prepared it for us. We tried incredible fruits and learned of the reforestation work the locals are doing.
Did a day trip with my brother. The boat ride up the river was pretty cool and we saw quite a few different monkeys. We spotted quite a few birds. The watery jungle was cool. Our guide Eva was a cool chick and spoke some English. Breakfast was ok at the reserve. the black coffee was good. I got a bad egg that tasted weird but the the second one was ok. I didn't like lunch and left most of it - yeah I am a bit fussy but jungle rooster is not a good taste and I'm not eating salads at these places. No idea why we 'rested' at the reserve after lunch since that was a bit of a waste of time. Nice people/guides at the village. The other boats paddling up the river with us were being noisy and talking loudly the whole time which was annoying. our guide had asked us to be quiet before and I assume the other boats passengers were told the same. Hopefully we didn't miss seeing anything if the noise scared any animals/birds away.
Amazing way to see the true jungle marshes and its unique vegetation. The place is somehow magical in a very remote place that you can only get to by boat. Great pleasent people. If you don't mind tarantulas and snakes you need to stay over night! The night sky is breathtaking with absolutely no light polution any near by. During any boat trips (during the day or night) make sure youbstay wuiet otherwise you wont see any animals. One of the best experiences i had so far in this region.
The most untouched nature I have ever seen. You're only able to visit this place with the guides who really respect the environment. They're really nice and take care of everything. The food served was also quite delicious.
Such an amazing community, we stayed one night, and the tours, food and people was beyond our expextation :) totally recommended
Peaceful and full of nature. Is possible to see monkeys

Great place to see birds, specially the most beautifull hummingbirds. There is a lookout to see them, and is always full of them.
We visited the lodge twice. First to do the orchid and hummingbird walk. This costs S/.10 each. Abby took us along the walk and showed us so many things. She was exceedingly knowledgeable about the different plants and orchids. When we got to the hummingbird area, we were meant to only have ten minutes there, but I'm sure we had much longer. There were so many hummingbirds flying around, it was difficult to know which direction to look. We saw so many different species as well. We returned a couple of days later to do the wood walk, at S/.40 each. We could spend as long as we wanted there, which was good, especially as there are three different walks, all quite long. We heard so many birds, saw quite a few briefly in the trees and we also saw three different species of hummingbirds. We spotted an orchid on the first walk as well. The middle walk was all about butterflies and there were hundreds of them. I couldn't even count the numbers of species we saw. We didn't manage to finish this walk or even start the third walk because there was so much to see. If we had known about this place before arriving in Moyobamba, we might have booked a couple of nights so we could spend longer exploring. This is a very special place.
Stayed 2 nights as part of a birdwatching tour. The rooms were clean and had everything I needed. The location is great - lovely gardens, flowers (so many orchids), and hummingbird feeders. The food (we had breakfast, lunch and dinner over 2 nights) was very good too.
Simple room but clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff, wonderful meals, beautiful flower and orchid gardens. Great view of a great variety of hummingbirds, especially the Rufous Crested Coquette.
The touristic guide was really kind and knowleble on her topic, I learned a lot of new stuff during my visit. Also, the variety of flowers is crazy, this space is beutiful. Thanks to this family and their team to create this safe space, keep the hard work!!
I didn't stay in the accommodations, but the guided tour of the botanical gardens and the hummingbird santuary is worthy of the out of town trek. The cultivation of orquids is plentiful and diverse thus offering blooms year-round. The best feature is the variety of hummingbird species (22+) that can be identified from the observation platform. The reserve is dense with vegetation but the occasional mosquito is easily deterred while wearing appropriate attire (long sleeves) and/or a mild repellent. This is definitely a great place to visit
Outstanding ecolodge. One of the best orchid gardens anywhere in the world! Friendly staff, good food, clean rooms. Recommended. I'll be back for sure!
Great birding, not so much for bird's photography

Very nice place! You get a tour with different orchids and other plants. They also have rescued crocodiles there and cute turtles! And they let you try very good ice cream 😋! We came with a tour, the alto mayo tour and there was a tombola game included where you were able to win an orchid with your entrance ticket!
They have the best collection of orchids. You can find some other plants and buy them too.
A lot of species of flower, local and international. You can see also some curious plants that you never thought they existed.
It's a nice but fairly small place. But if you're really interested in Orquidees it might be worth it. Therefore I'd rather recommend to visit the Eco lodge Wakanki 6km to the south plus the thermal bath of San Mateo. The orchideario also has a gift shop and a small coffe shop.
Small tropical plant greenery. Expensive as to be expected.

A different way to visit and be amazed by the nature of the plants, it has a large space, you can buy orchids and they even give you many tips to adapt to your garden, they also give you many tips to take them to other cities, they wrap them up for you. There are also two alligators and a piranha to appreciate. (Original) Me gusto mucho este lugar, la atención muy agradable y sobretodo muy limpio y ordenado. Ahí también hay dos caimanes y una piraña para apreciar.
(Translated by Google) An incredible place to learn about orchids and appreciate the different types that exist. The entrance is 5 soles but with a guide it costs 7. You have to wait for a group to fill up to enter, which is actually quick because it is quite crowded. It has a cafeteria and an orchid and craft store. It really is super interesting and is very close to the city of Moyobamba. (Original) Un increíble lugar para aprender sobre las orquídeas y apreciar los diferentes tipos qué existen. I love those perfectly round trees that provide shade from the Sun. I wonder if it comes like that or they trim it..
Really beautiful main square! It’s clean, well-kept, and surrounded by colonial-style buildings, restaurants, and cafes where you can sit and enjoy the view. The gardens are full of flowers and greenery, giving it a very fresh and colorful atmosphere. It’s also a nice spot to walk around in the evening, with good lighting and a lively but safe environment.
Very safety town 0 crime Educate people..
The pretty plaza is centered around its remarkable pink church, a truly eye-catching landmark.
Beautiful historic city centre with a large central plaza. Plenty of shaded benches to sit and relax and take in the picturesque scenery
Very nice little town😍😍😍
Nice square to spend a moment
It’s a nice place however there are few trees 🌳 🌳 It should be nicer with more vegetation and shade.
