(Translated by Google) The place is wonderful, the house is beautiful, very spacious and comfortable. There is heating, the shower works perfectly. The view is incredible... We couldn't use the pool, because we had to arrive in the rain and in Autumn. The road to get there is a little complicated (and was made a little more complicated by the rain), but you can go up by car perfectly. I then recommend walking to get to each place, and not going up and down with the car, every time. Be that as it may, the place is a dream, it is worth staying here if you are in La Cumbrecita.
(Translated by Google) The environment is beautiful, but the cabins are not what they show on the networks. The children's mattresses were thin, when someone took a bath they leaked in the dining room (disgusting), the bathroom with very little light. The double room has a strange layout, with the wardrobe almost in the middle. The first day we found a scorpion of significant size. I attach photos and video of everything. I'm not coming back, they are a lie.
(Translated by Google) The cabin was really a disaster: the light switches were loose, revealing the cables, the toilet lids were loose, the bathroom was dirty, in terrible condition, lamps were out of adjustment, cobwebs and garbage, the smell of a septic tank, the TV cable was stripped, preventing it from working, curtains were torn and stained, door handles were off, lamps without protection, broken chairs, stained bed linen, loose stair railing causing danger, breakfast that was described as continental only had bread, milk and juice, and the cherry on the cake, when showering upstairs all the water fell through the ceiling that was uncovered from the bathroom below, our messages were only ignored, the pool was in terrible health conditions, it was green and with a lot of dirt. We demanded our invoice and as of today we have not received it nor the tax free since we paid with a foreign card.

(Translated by Google) It is located in a place of impressive natural beauty. The cabins are made of logs and very comfortable. It has a very good trekking circuit. Highly recommended!
(Translated by Google) The place was beautiful, the nature but the service was bad, no one received me at all because of wsp, the breakfast was very very basic. The pool was dirty. You are alone in the middle of the mountains. It's not worth the price they charge you. In the Rock Park brochure it says that if you rent there you have unlimited entry to the activities. It's a lie, they don't take care of it. I called the number on the brochure, they didn't answer me.
(Translated by Google) Very nice complex!!! It allows you to be in a place with a lot of nature where you can go trekking, bathe in the river, zip line... we enjoyed it a lot!!! (Original) Muy lindo complejo!!!
(Translated by Google) Beautiful cabins, attention and location. The only thing I complain about is how ugly the road is to get there. They should try to resolve that point! Personally, I really liked everything but I don't know if I would return if they didn't fix the route to the cabins. If you don't go in 4x4 you run the risk of breaking the car.

Such a beautiful location without a difficult path of arrival! Take into consideration that it is $8,000 pesos (per car) to enter La Cumbrecita and park to then walk to La Olla. Weather permitting, sweet spot to take a dip in the water! Pet friendly is a big plus.
A moderate walk, much easier than Cascade Grande, and you can swim at the end!
Worth the hike. Great day jumping off the rocks and swimming
Espectacular, agua bien friaaaa, pero si no te bañas te pierdes una experiencia inolvidable!! / An spectacular place, the water is really cold, but if you don't try you lost an unforgettable experience!!
Amazing place to take a relaxing swim in the low season. It's cold but so worth it. I can imagine it gets very busy in high season.
My phone fell in the water while I was taking a pic
So beautiful! A place to meet nature.

It's not the most amazing waterfall but it's very pretty if you can get there early enough to avoid the crowds. We were lucky enough to leave what was already a fairly crowded area just a few minutes before what I assume was a bus load of people. The viewing area was crowded with 10 people. I cannot imagine what it would have been like with the 50 people we saw heading there as we left. But the waterfall was lovely, coming into a little pool at the bottom. I assume you could swim there if you didn't mind the cold water. As for the trail, while it had some steeper parts and was a little tricky at times, it wasn't the death march that many have described. We're not spring chickens but managed it from the trail head in less than 30 minutes with minimal fuss. Getting down to the pool below was very steep however. Do not confuse this with a different waterfall which is much further away and requires a long hike to get there. Tourist office do not mention that one. This one is on the map they give you.
great walk up to the falls! Remember you can not drive in Cumbrecita so it is about a 45 min walk to the falls from outside of town. Totally worth it. We had our 6 year old with us and he loved climbing up the rocks. We took a 1/2 way break in town where there are lots of local foods and shops to grab a snack/water or just a break before headed up the falls. On the way home there was a bus that brought us back to where we parked the car which was nice after hiking and swimming all day. Highly recommend this area, it was gorgeous.
Nice hike… moderate… amazing view at the end.
The hike to the falls was a fun and keeps you on your toes! The falls were pretty from a distance. Wish it would have been a bit easier to get up close.
A difficult 20 minute walk from the start of the track for a beautiful view. Children need accompanying.
Very beautiful! Nice little hike from the town, not too difficult, families and people of all ages can do it. The waterfall is beautiful and there are tons of photo opportunities for photographers!
It’s worth the hike up from Cumbrecita to get to the Cascades. It’s a medium complexity hike after you get of the main road.
What a beautiful experience to have a swim so close to the waterfall! It's quiet easy to get there and it's a great idea to bring a picnic!

Lovely little church built in 1967. Don’t come to La Cumbrecita to see it but if you are passing its cute!

Our favorite day in La Cumbrecita was the day we did this hike. We enjoyed it much more than La Olla and Cascade Grande due to the final viewpoint and lower traffic. Overall, I think there could be more markers but I definitely recommend this hike!
Nice and easy trail. Beautiful views.
Some rough uphill hikes in the area but all worth the hike!
Nice! Not too difficult
Very nice place. It is possible to make a longer walk from here. But prepare before, because there is no map there
Great sightseeing!
(Translated by Google) A great experience for a trekking beginner. Please wear appropriate footwear because the terrain is varied: rock, sand, and dirt. We had a few stumbles due to slipping on the rocks. The positive points: it's not difficult, the climb is more of a low/medium level, and it's not that long either. The scenery is beautiful everywhere you look. The negative points: the signage could be better; you won't get lost, but some signs were vandalized and broken.
(Translated by Google) The climb is quite poorly signposted, so we used the maps.me app to guide us. There are views of the town. The climb is quite steep, so it's not for everyone. Rough incline for the first part and some later rock scrambles but awesome view at the end... well an awesome view the entire hike!
Absolutely awesome place. If you are not used to these kind of activities, be aware that it's not easy to get there. However, it's absolutely worth it. Strongly suggest to use maps.me app to make sure you don't get lost. Take some food and beverages, a towel and an extra pair of socks! Enjoy ;)
(Translated by Google) It's a beautiful hike. It took us about five hours to hike there and back. The first part of the trail is quite steep, then it becomes easier later. The trail is marked, but you have to pay attention. (Original) Es un recorrido hermoso. (Translated by Google) It's a long and tiring trail at times, but it's truly worth it. The scenery along the way is beautiful! We went yesterday, Friday, and there was no one on the trail. The peace and tranquility are incredible, and you can appreciate nature. Full-day hike. It's recommended to download the offline map before going, bring appropriate footwear, water, and something to snack on when you arrive. When you reach the Birch, continue on that side. DO NOT cross the stream, as you won't be able to continue later. If you ever don't know where to go, it's recommended to follow the trails left by the horses.
(Translated by Google) A very good trek to do, it's 12 km almost from the center of Cumbrecita with an elevation gain of 550 m, and is of medium-high difficulty. It took me about 5 hours round trip, and you must follow a track. Bring water and food; you can get water from the streams to drink. There are two trails, and in between there are other waterfalls and hills to enjoy.
(Translated by Google) We followed the trail from Mirador del Peñal to the hidden waterfall, passing through the German Cemetery, the Indian Lookout, the Cruz de la Tradicion, the Cochi Valley, the Abedul Valley, the Hidden Waterfall, and finally, Cerro Wank. The scenery was excellent, and the trail was well-marked with very steep climbs at the beginning and end. Bring water, a coat, good shoes, and a cell phone to help you navigate in fog and avoid seeing the trail far away, as there are forks that can lead you quite a bit and lead you astray.
(Translated by Google) The hidden waterfall is beautiful and peaceful. It's literally hidden. If you go through the birch valley, you won't find it. You have to follow the trail along the western slope of the river, and you'll reach a very, very peaceful place. If it had been hot, we would have gotten our feet wet. A very nice hike.
