Very nice Hot Springs in Andes Mountains at an altitude of 11000 feet. It is a short 1 and 1/2 hour drive from Quito and a 45-minute drive from Quito airport. It is on the way from Quito to Amazon rainforest. Make sure to arrange for your return trip from Hot springs to Quito before you arrive there. They're at Hot springs outside every cabin. For a better experience with excellent service, for a fee, you can use the spa, take a steam bath, and a body massage. There's also a restaurant where you can relax.
Just got back from a quick two-day getaway and it totally blew my mind! 🌿 The place is unbelievably beautiful, the staff were super friendly, and the service was spot on. I even had a “relaxation massage” with a lovely lady named Cruz—and it was absolutely amazing!
This is a natural hot spring resort, about an hour from Quito and a perfect stop on the way to and from the airport as it's on the right side of the city. Although many visitors seem to come for the day, we were lucky to stay in a cabin with hot springs right outside the door and the two larger pools around 100 m away. The cabin was cosy and atmospheric. Lunch and dinner in the restaurant were both excellent, prices were more at the European level than the bargains elsewhere in Ecuador, but understanding this is a luxury resort. The buffet breakfast was a bit underwhelming, but not the end of the world and the staff were always friendly and attentive. This became a lovely memory of the end of our trip to Ecuador
Located high in the volcanic Andes mountains area over 10, 000 feet above sea level...Scenic and beautiful! The hot springs therma bubbling, relaxing & conveniently located right outside my room door. Truly a gem worth visiting. Area is quaint and well maintained. Friendly staff. Buffet Breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, Meats, eggs, bread varieties, sweet cakes, coffee & delicious cocoa. Something for vegans too! Rooms modern very clean... offer Free WiFi. There was fog mist & cloudiness on the mountains making the area very chilly. The front desk bright me a portable heater to my room on request. Located 1 hour from Quito. Yes I would recommend and vist again.
Nice hot springs. Stopped on a Saturday and it was 48°F out so the place wasn't busy. The main pools are nice and hot while the smaller pools were either boiling or cold. Get a locker for your stuff. There are private showers and changing rooms. There is a small cafeteria that serves burgers but stay away from the salchipapas as here they are literally French fries with a hot dog on top.
Great experience to soak among the mountains. Beautiful pools and very clean. If you're in Quito and have time, do it..
The views! This place was AMAZING! Quiet and peaceful relaxing and the springs were hot and CLEAN. Staff was great and friendly as well. A must visit when in Ecuador.
Gorgeous hot springs in a picturesque setting. Surrounded by lush forested mountains, a serene experience is guaranteed. Really nice facility, very clean, well laid out, and well maintained. The water is not as mineralized as some hot springs (a more funky and pungent outburst is always appreciated!) However this experience was wonderful, therapeutic, and top-notch all the way.

The most whacky amazing hotel I have stayed in. I would love to return! Visually superb interior, brilliant location & wonderful food and service. The option of a room or the camper van. Breakfast with the sound of Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, The Police and Rolling Stones. Table tennis, table football, and so many retro 70s & 80s items as well as amazing colours and paintings. Beautiful countryside and views. Right next to the hot springs ($10)
Very nice area and there are 4.5 hot pools. If you need more hot water, ask for it because they will open the flow of hot water more for your pool. Overall great relaxing experience! Be sure to try to cold water as well! Be warned though, on Saturday and Sunday this place is packed! Try to plan for a visit during the weekdays if possible.
It is a clean, very accessible, family-friendly place and above all close to the city.
Nice option if you only want to stay a couple hours. Great value at 4 USD. My recommendation for a longer day Termas de Papallacta and for a short time (2-3h) use this more budget option. Really clean, not to many dressing rooms and showers.
Beautifully kept, clean and very relaxing! Definitely a must visit but better to go on a day and time when less people would be in the pools.
Good place to share with family and friends. The place isn't fancy but has more like a traditional touch which fits with the nature surrounding it. The food at the restaurant was really good. Personally, enjoyed having a hot chicken soup in the cool weather of the hills, habas with cheese and corn, while the rest of the family enjoyed other dishes like trout with fries and churrasco, very good too.
This is a wonderful place if you are thinking of spending some time relaxing with the mountains and nature around you and also the water reaches the volcano and you feel part of the wild nature.
Very nice place. Surrounded by mountains. $4 entrance, $1 also for a swimming cap which is required. Decent lunch
