Very nice place. Awesome for kids while grownups drink a nice cold beer
Listing the good and the bad aspects. Good: Structure, staff, attractions, spaces for grown ups and children, and beautiful carp fish tank. Bad: Pricing model, many bugs in the pool, strange times for food delivery and insisting sales people constantly bothering you despite you declining offers. You have to load a card with money in order to order anything. You can't order drinks at the table for example. Having to walk around the park to get anything when you are sitting makes it pointless to have a staff. The pools could be cleaned at times, and a tip: perhaps the dead bugs from the pool can be fed to the carps. Regarding strange times, it seems that when you must order from 11am-2pm but your food will only be delivered at 2pm. Last, there are sales people insisting on talking to you despite you saying that you are not interested. They don't take a no for an answer which really bother the park experience.
The place is good for kids but really not much for adults. The waiter service (Aroldo)was great and punctual. The issue with is there set times for food, example you can only order a burger after 2pm The was a kids pool with slides that was well supervised, A larger pool, U shaped slide and 2 speed slides that only opened at 12:50pm and restricted to a 100kg weight limit. Overall ok but only if you have kids.
Great for families with kids. Their are different kind of water attractions at this place. It is recommended to buy tickets in advance but you need some kinda subscription for this. For foreigners a day-pass cost around 99 reais, approximately usd 20. After entering you have to buy a band/wristwatch (waterproof) and put in credits on it. This is for purchasing drinks, snacks and food. There is a buffet, where the food is weighed, but there is also a menu card at the tents where you could order. Their are waitresses and waiters walking around who can take your order. You pay by scanning you wristband, which is uploaded earlier. Before leaving you return the wristband and get back your deposit and remaining balance. The deposit for the wristband is 20 reais. At the back of the park there is a big self-made beach where the have a machine that creates waves every so hour. There are 2 slides, one really tall one, which was busy a lot. Everybody wanted to do that. There is also a small souvenir shop. There is a performance stage where they had a moana theme show to entertain the kids including their parents. This is a must-see/must-go in Belem.
It was fun with plenty to do. It's more directed to kids than adults, but everyone can have a good time. The music was a little loud in some parts. It was very crowded for a Tuesday.
Fun place, great atmosphere. Drinks are very good as well. I feel the prices however on food are a little pricey. And the food is ok, everything else is good.
That's gr8 place. Guará Aqua park 🤩
