Amazing beach 🏖️ in a beautiful town, with amazing view and lots of activities. Family friendly Swimming Some of the options are sand volleyball, a beach bar, and straw umbrella. Great for a relaxing read, putting down some drinks, or getting your daily activity in with Volleyball!
From the Miradouro at Largo das Rivas, enjoy a stunning panoramic view over Praia dos Pescadores — a golden beach nestled beneath Albufeira’s old town cliffs. Colorful fishing boats dot the shore, and the sweeping ocean vista makes this a perfect spot for photos, reflection, and sunset watching.
Such a nice beach. Plenty of room even when it’s busy. Could possibly do with one more toilet when it’s busy but that’s made up for by the bar. The bar has very good drinks and tasty sandwiches, ended up spending more time at the beach than planned due to the bar
Beautiful location for a beach.🏖️ Fine sand and next to no wind compared to the sufer beaches. But u are not allowed to play ball at the water which is ridiculous, so you would have to go to the volleyball field.
Breath taking views of the sun, sand, sea and the shoreline. Lovely weather. Clean blue water and sand beach surrounded by cafes, bars and seafood restaurants. Great ambience and laid back atmosphere adds to the overall experience. Soak in the sun and enjoy the views sipping on some beer with friends is a good way to spend your day here! Neat and clean surroundings.😎👌
A great beach with lots of variety. It is a bit more activity than it’s neighboring beaches, with sand volleyball, a beach bar, and straw umbrella. It also had less wind than some of the other beaches because it was more covered. Great for a relaxing read, putting down some drinks, or getting your daily activity in with Volleyball!
The day we were here it was sunny, but it was just before the start of the prime summer season, so there were not a lot of people. The water was cold too, although it may warm up towards the middle to end of summer. The beach is a small cove at the bottom of a steep walkway. The sand was nice and I would imagine on a hot summer day with warmer water, this would be a nice place to visit. The town where the beach is located is also nice to walk around.
Near the center and good for families with small children, but cold water. Nice views from the top, many restaurants nearby. Finding parking spot could be tricky.

Nice beach for relaxing and surfing. Be aware that getting in and out can be tricky and there are currents. So recommended for advanced beginners / intermediate surfers. Further there is a nice outlook, a bar/restaurant and surf rentals/schools around.
Perfect beach off season with services of the restaurant that makes it easy with a toddler
Very cool surf beach with toilets, showers, hire and lessons all on site. Cafe open from 12 ⏰
Excellent Surf spot 35-45min (by car) North of Lisbon. The beach can be a bit challenging for non surfers but still worthwhile visit. Beautiful but rugged terrain surrounding the beach. Well equipped dressing rooms & showers are available. All forms of Surfing gears are available for hiring and surf lessons can be booked on the spot. The Beach has a nice Bar & Restaurant with a well balanced menu and not too pricey. A trendy surfer-spot to hang out with fellow Surfers of all ages.
Beautiful beach in between cliffs. Very famous surf spot, but there are also some trekking options on the cliffs. There is a parking but spaces are limited, especially on weekends. There are a restaurant/bar, some bathrooms and showers. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperating the day we stopped there.
Best surfing 🏄‍♂️ spot in the Ericeira World Surfing Reserve. Handy for all levels. Lots of rentals there, changing rooms, toilets, food and coffee, drinks. Will come back!
Beautiful landscape, sea and cliffs. Very famous surf spot, but there are also some trekking options on the cliffs. There is a big parking space, a restaurant/bar, bathrooms, showers and space for skate and other sports. Nice for enjoying the day at the beach
Fantastic beach. Gorgeous. Great trail to see the surfers from above. You can walk all 4km to the end of the world surf reserve over the cliffs (dirt trail).

Expert guides tell the story of Jameson in a recreated distillery scene with tastings and dining.
Slide 1 of 8
It was incredible experience. Our tour guide was amazing. First you get free welcome drink - you have 3 options from Jameson (Jameson with lime and ginger is amazing). Then you go to first room, it’s about history of Jameson. Second room is about how to make Jameson and on third you learn about differences, how to smell and taste different Jamesons. With this guide, it was really amazing and I could stay longer than 45 minutes.
My wife and I took this tour on a Monday morning a few hours before our flight home and had a wonderful time. Our tour guide was very animated and obviously loved his job! Great tour through history all the way to current time. Definitely recommend this tour for any whiskey aficionados or anyone with just a taste for Jameson.
I paid about $26 for the Jameson Distillery tour and it was worth every penny. They start with a really cool 3D projector story about the history and how Jameson is made, then you move into a tasting room where you try four different Jamesons and learn how to properly smell and taste whiskey. It truly feels like a world-class experience. The premium ones were noticeably smoother (whiskey by itself definitely grows hair on your chest 😂), but it was fun, informative, and delicious. After the tasting, you get a drink included — they already have a bar set up with several cocktail options, and if you want another drink afterward you can buy more. The tour guide was incredible — funny, knowledgeable, and made it feel like he actually believed every part of the history. It was so good I found myself thinking, “Do y’all hire? I could work here too.” The staff overall was extremely friendly and helpful. They’ll even hold your bags if you’re coming straight from the airport like I was. There’s merchandise at the end if you want to shop, and the whole experience is just a lot of fun from start to finish. I would 100% come back and I’d tell anyone visiting Dublin to add this to their trip.
What an unforgettable experience at the Jameson Distillery! We opted for the Secret Whiskey Package and savored every moment. The tour was a delightful blend of history, craftsmanship, and fun, with fascinating insights into the company’s founder and the art of whiskey making. The highlight? Learning the skills of whiskey tasting, followed by a truly delicious sampling experience. Despite the bustling crowd of fellow travelers, the staff made us feel so special and welcome. We loved every minute and can’t wait to return!
Had a fantastic tasting tour on my second visit to this iconic Irish distillery. The guide’s deep knowledge and entertaining presentation made the experience memorable. It’s no wonder Jameson remains one of the world’s top selling whiskeys. Highly recommended!
Exactly everything you'd expect from a distillery tour. Great tour guide, samples of the whisky, and the best ambiance. All the employees were stellar and very nice to chat with. You can also purchase exclusive bottles you can't get anywhere else in the world.
This is one of the best distillery tour I’ve ever done! I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin. Our tour guide was really informative and had a great demote of knowledge about the history of Jameson’s. I’m not usually a Whiskey drinker but after trying a Jamesons, Ginger Ale and Lime in the bar I am converted.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Jamison Distillery. I went with my husband and my daughter. It was very informative and quite interesting. There were several experiences during the tour. We tasted whiskeys that we hadn't tried before. Our new favorite one is Black Barrel. We've bought a bottle now that we're back home and have shared it with a neighbor. He is now a fan! I recommend going on this tour. It's fun, educational, and it even has a cute little shop inside.

Beautiful beach 🏖️ The atmosphere is cosy. Another option other than the Algarve. But the water is little bit cold.
Great beach for families. Fairly reasonable priced sun "huts" at the southern end (10 Euro vs 20 Euro other places). Waves can be big, so more suitable for older children.
Nice beach with easy access and parking.
A very beautful beach in Ericeira. Views are perfecg
Great beach for all the family
Beautiful beach with cafés and restaurants as well clean public bathrooms. During low tide, a shallow pool forms on the northern end, ideal for younger swimmers. Elsewhere, the waves are a bit more vigorous.
A narrow beach that seems to stretch a mile! The views and landscape are beautiful. The beach can get quite windy. I recommend grabbing a tent or bringing a windscreen with you. We set up shop, and got straight to reading. It’s a perfect beach to relax, play cards, read, and enjoy some downtime on a Sunday heading into the week!
Worth visit, even for a while.

(Translated by Google) The Milreu Fort is also known as the Fort of São Pedro da Ericeira, the Fort of Mil Regos and the Fort of Ericeira. It is located in the Ericeira area, in the municipality of Mafra, district of Lisbon, in Portugal. This is the last remaining of a small group of forts built during the Restoration of Independence and which served to defend that part of the Portuguese coast. The aim of its construction was to control maritime access to Ericeira from the north and also to prevent any attempt to land in the bay formed by the nearby Ribeira de Ilhas beach. The Milreu Fort has a rectangular plan, designed in the Mannerist style, with a terraced roof. On its frontispiece is the gatehouse with a round arch. It also has a battery with gun ports and two cylindrical sentry boxes with conical roofs.
Old building but nice view.

Had a wonderful time visiting this town plaza! We visited daily, often multiple times! In the mornings we would sip coffee, and in the afternoons we would walk in circles and grab a beer! If you are not from the area, I recommend just closing your eyes and enjoying the sounds of a busy town square, devoid of noise pollution from cars, electronics, and other modern technology!
On Thursday evening, a good beer and watch live (English) soccer was all i needed..at Jogo bar they have several pool tables ,games machines and around 5 tvs showing various other live sports. They serve food too i didnt try it. No smoking ..from square aim to just behind the Doghouse bar.
Very Nice Place To Siting and Walk
Lovely square with cafes and restaurants to chill out and there are local artists mornings and evenings playing live music
This is the village center. Where everything happens. Coffee shops, pastry, restaurants pharmacy, everything's there. In the summer some entertaining shows and music. An obligatory pass if you're in town.
Lovely place to relax, watch the world go by and drink a coffee
Fantástic place, fisher village, nice beach, lovely food 20 km from Lisbon everything half price from Lisbon n

one of the best places in the area for kids and parents too! nice - clean and very protected from winds ! and cleans WC and Café !
We wanted to play Paddle Tennis, made a reservation, wanted to pay, yet it was Not possible. Also for the time (2h) we wanted to play, there have been other reserervations. So in the best case we could only play 1h, for this time it was also Not possible to play. The Lady responsible was not willing to help at all. We have been really disappointed!!
Nice spot for a family weekend. There's a minigolf spot, cafe, kids park, gym, tennis court. Tried the minigolf and it was ok, maybe a little pricey for its condition, but it was fun and had a great view of the sea. The coffe place was cool too. They had soy milk which is a BIG plus!
Went to do the mini golf. It was amazing. Only €3 per person per hour. Absolute bargain. Couldn't find the place to hire clubs etc to start with - turns out it's next to the tennis courts. Staff were very helpful & had a lot of time to help us with our limited Portuguese. Good views of the sea too.
Great place to relax and soak up the sun after a good meal at the seaside restaurant!
The park is very beautiful. If you want a quiet walk on the weekends or to practice some sport, this is the place to go. It also offers stunning views of the sea.
Beautiful park that is quite central to town with nice views of the water and a fun playground for small children with a slide, swings and a few small houses/play areas. Recommend going at sunset for a stunning view!
Not really waht i expected a park to be dhe to not much vegetation and very clear made structures. However, its right above the beach so nice views, has a restaurant on site (a pricey one!!!!) and even has a little cafe with a playgroud for the little ones. I wont be going back, but you might like to try 🤪

Miradouro de São Sebastião: Located near the São Sebastião Chapel, this spot offers views of the northern beaches and the vast Atlantic. The chapel itself adds a historical element to your compositions, and the surrounding area is rich with traditional Portuguese architecture. I travelled on 31st January, 2025 enjoyed a winter spring vibes during afternoon and clicked some Santorini vibes photos from Ericera
Alright, wave chasers and sand dwellers, let’s talk Praia de São Sebastião—a spot that’s got just the right mix of mellow vibes and sneaky little surprises for surfers and beach lovers alike. This place isn’t just a beach; it’s a canvas for the Atlantic’s artistry. The waves? They’re not the towering giants you’d find in Nazaré, but they’ve got personality. Think of them as the chill, laid-back cousin who still knows how to throw a punch when the swell is right. Perfect for a longboard cruise or dialing in those stylish turns. The vibe on the beach is as cool as it gets. Families building sandcastles, a few locals fishing off the rocks, and maybe a salty old-timer who’s seen every tide this place has ever pulled. It’s the kind of spot where everyone smiles like they know they’re in on a secret. 🌊🌴
This superb beach, located at one end of the town of Ericeira, owes its name to the small white chapel perched on the cliff near the parking lot. However, it almost completely disappears at high tide !
Nice beach here for surfing. Very high waves. The historical old town is located nearby and is a great spot for lunch. Come here for a day trip!
Beautiful beach, we managed to get in water for a 'swim' and enjoy some waves.
Awesome beach. No lifeguards. Now without sand on high tide. Still no sand, but still awesome, when humans respect the environment. Again don't come here please, awful, too much sand, too much water, too much rocks, the water is freezing, and there are fish, crabs and algae. And waves when it's not flat. The sand came back, which is awesome.
Nice beach with magnificent view and zero crowds. However, the waves are so big that it’s impossible to swim.
Lovely beach. There is are large flat rocks in shallow waters which are easy to walk on and the sand is made up of large grains.

Rocky beach where many surf schools will go for classes. Good at low to high tide. It’s just in front of Quicksilver (with big store and cafe inside) and skate park.
Another magnificent surf spot nestled between majestic cliffs and the sparkling waters of the Atlantic Ocean, where you shouldn't be put off by the name, even though Matadouro means "slaughterhouse" in Portuguese! It's a friendly beach known for its vibrant surf culture, ideal for beginners and experienced surfers alike. You'll find plenty of surf schools, numerous beach breaks and reef breaks, offering both lefts and rights. So, watch your step when you come out of the water... The beach is characterized by its sandy shore and is suitable for surfing at both low and high tide. Its natural beauty is enhanced by the breathtaking sunsets it offers.
Great place to learn surf but on high season can be quite crowded, not recomendable to go just to lay down on the beach as it's full of surf schools
You have a drop food truck, toilets, shower, beautiful spot, but for swimmer you better have swim shoes
Stunning beach with great boardwalk or walk along the beach
Nice beach, parking near by surfing spot. Use some rubber shoes, bottom is rocky.
Beautyfull natural beach, we'll like look back at funny surf lessons!
Great place to take in the scenery and commune with nature. Surfing is Ok here, specially for beginners; plenty of surfing schools use this place as their go-to. Not do good for beach lounging, since space is very limited and rocky.

(Translated by Google) An interesting 18th century chapel, dating back to 1768, built in honour of St Julian and St Basilissa, is in good condition. It is richly covered in tiles that tell the story of the life and history of the saintly couple and has painted wooden ceilings. The sacristy, also open to the public, is also covered in tiles. Some souls are found a few metres away, facing the sea, in a recess. The whole setting is interesting, including the set of beaches and cliffs to the south. It is well worth a visit, taking the opportunity to walk the nearby trails.

Centrepoint of the village. Great calming presence on the high street. Calming inside and outside.... restaurants and cafes by tge side of the chirch.
It is beautiful church that has been restored and maintained with great care. It’s a wonderful spot to take a moment to sit and reflect. I decided to paint the portal going into the church.
Peaceful. Amazing art. Architecture beautiful. Chanting prayers and music played during my visit.
Attended for family wedding, stunning church and perfect size for a wedding.

Beautiful church in Ericeira
Went there for an organ concert and with the acoustics of the church was fantastic. The art in the altar and walls is awesome.
Beautiful church, regular masses, right in the centre of town.
