Beautiful village. I recommend you park your car on the parking place on the Chemin des Tours, high up next to the towers and walk down to the village through the little village through the stairs. Might be a bit difficult with a buggy but doable.
What a cool place. Cave dwellings from millions of years ago.
We visited the park in front of the grottes. Since the grottes were closed. Pay attention to the opening hours of the grottes before you go. The parc though was very nice and had a waterfall, playground and picnic area.
Nice little town but the area you can go into the caves is very limited.
Such a charming old village, with a number of restaurants and bars to keep you well fed and watered. A visit is certainly recommended.
Interesting but wouldn't make a special trip to Cotignac for this (caves).
Beautiful garden with caves that depart at specific intervals. Limited options for drinks and food.
Really interesting old fortress built into the caves. Busy, so book ahead on their website.

Amazing place! So meditative. The views are spectacular. It’s a short walk uphill from the village
Once in a lifetime pilgrimage! Highly recommend.
Beautiful and inspiring place for a pilgrimage to Our Lady on August the 15th.
The most tranquil place I have found, the feeling of serenity enveloped me and I will certainly be returning. I was so very lucky that I arrived at the precise moment Mass was beginning which I offered up for the people of 🇺🇦 . It was meant to be as I feel so helpless in so many ways .
A haven of peace. A worthwhile visit
Noce little peaceful haven in beautiful rusric setting.
only location in the world as shrine where holy family did show. Outstanding
We are very grateful

Came to Carpe Diem for my birthday and what a great experience with Cecilia! Especially loved the Rose Brut Nature and was able to bring back a bottle of the Red Major. Thanks Cecilia!
Fantastic experience with Cecelia for wine tasting and description of the wines and area. Each wine was absolutely delicious. We look forward to coming back for the vineyard tour!
Beautiful family owned vineyard. A tour is possible but important to call and book in advance. Small but beautiful cave to view/taste the wines on offer. Delivery is possible for orders over €100.
We were hosted by the owner Marie who was incredibly informative and friendly. Being a smaller winery it was great to hear the story of Marie and her family, so much information and great tasting experience with Cecelia who was fantastic.
One of my absolute favorites. Exceptional rose and surprising reds. Owned and run by a lovely family who enjoy welcoming visitors
This is a late review but i remembered this winery as the experience was unforgettable. It wasn’t a busy day so we got lucky and we had the place to ourselves. We had Cecile with us and she was very informative, kind and welcoming. We started with the rose, the whites and the reds. I definitely love their red lineups. I love it so much that I brought it all the way to Canada. Although we were just passing by tourists, this place definitely left a mark and we will be back. Again special shoutout to Cecile.
We had a marvelous tour and tasting on our honey moon! Marie Caroline is super knowledgeble and passionate about the craft. Would go again and very happy that we brought some bottles back, because it is a great wine !
We did wine tasting. It had very good wine with a good atmosphere. The gal working spoke English as well.

Spectacular waterfall. It's just a short walk to heaven. Perfect picnic spot, and be prepared to jump in from the rope swing.
Short, difficult in places, walk to a huge reward -- being a spectacular waterfall when in full flow -- at then. Great in summer as the valley is shaded and cool. You need to be limber: be warned!
It all looked a little sad today with very little water in the waterfall. But there are some lovely views to be had on the steep, but short, walk up. I expect it'll look better after the rain forecast for tomorrow.
We took the recommendation from the reviews to take the way next to the police station and follow the stairs to the left. As mentioned the sign is gone but it’s easy to find. The way Google shows it’s not posible with the car through Cotignac. Cute walk of about 15 minutes. Possible to do with kids (ours are 9, 8 and 2). As mentioned also in comments there are certain parts where people with low mobility will not make it (same for a buggy). Unfortunately there was no water running but it was a nice adventure :) parking easy at the public parking at the entrance of Cotignac and then a 50 m walk to the path.
Wonderful cascade 15min walk in the shade from the village
Dry as a bone this time of year
Although I don't normally use expensive camping I have to say that this campsite is worth every penny. Loved my stay here. If you stay here, try to find chez pollet farm about five kilometres away, suppliers of meats pate honey and such like.
The cascade is dry at the moment but when in full flood in winter it is an awesome sight.

A place of peace and prayer, fabulous young congregation of joyful, prayerful, welcoming nuns
Unfortunately it is closed during the week in the afternoon. But the miraculous fountain is accessible from the outside.
Arrived at the wrong time. Bus loads of pilgrims made the visit impossible.
A very solemn place for pilgrimage
Peace and silence.

Friendly, helpful and efficient :) they speak great English and Spanish. There is a small parking next to the office but always crowded. Much better to park in the public parking at the entrance of Cotignac and walk the 50 meters.
Cute village. Christmas market was ok and worth a detour. A nice trail starts at the tourist office, follow red markings, 8km long and says it takes 3h (in reality closer to 2 at normal walking speed and no longer pause). Description on sign close to the tourist office. Big parking available just below
Cotignac, nestled in the heart of Provence, captivates with its rich history and picturesque charm. Known for its dramatic cliffside backdrop and ancient troglodyte dwellings, the village offers a unique blend of natural beauty and historical intrigue. Stroll through its quaint streets lined with vibrant markets, charming cafes, and historic fountains. The serene atmosphere, coupled with the scenic views of vineyards and olive groves, makes Cotignac a quintessential Provençal retreat, perfect for those seeking tranquility and a taste of authentic French culture.
Didn't actually go in the tourist office, but definitely hung out in Cotignac. Very pretty little town in Provence
Bright modern tourist office by convenient parking for charming village with shady main street, cliff trail and buildings, and riverside walk.
