Montpazier is such a lovely historic town and well worth a visit. You will not be disappointed by a visit to the artisan brewery of Biere de la Bastide, either for a drink or for a meal. Huw and his wife Denise have created a great environment to enjoy one or more of their fine locally brewed beers. We enjoyed our lunch washed down with a pint of L’été Blonde, delicious. (Wine or soft drink available). Will definitely be back.

Oh and almost forgot to mention the warm, flat beer.

Fabulous taphouse with great wine and lovely food. Hugh the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He could not have been more helpful and if I could give 6 stars I would. We had Thai chicken curry which was delicious. Highly recommend!!!
