Recommendations: - start from Es Verger (crooked challenging road to drive so be prepared) - from Es Verger in easy pace it takes about 2 hours (in total); from down about 4 - bring good shoes as the rocks may be a bit slippery - there is a bar on top of the hill (when you reach the castle walls go a little further up the hill) - respect nature

Great views from all along the path from Es Verger restaurant car park, up to the top. Well worth the effort. If you are not pretty fit I would say don't try walking from Alaro. Good walking shoes a must and not a walk to try in the summer.

A good 2 hour hike from the town on a mix of road and fairly uneven paths. Worth it for the views from the top. Take plenty water. There's a bar on top but they rely on the Donkeys for drinks delivery so may not be fully stocked for the walk back down.

A great place for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are great views while hiking, you can also go by car, the road is not of the best quality, but it is worth visiting while in Mallorca.

Actually we didn't make it to get up to top. Plus from top there is 40min walk to castle. So what I'm actually reviewing if I haven't been there. Well we have been there in December in rented car. Road to castle was so f narrow that we have stopped half way and have had picnic in first layby available. It was difficult in big car to get there (single line) when every few min car was coming down. But the view there is great even from half way. Mountain looks great. Scenery spectacular. Next time I will just have walk from bottom I think will take 2h. Plus I don't want to even imagine driving there in season with 10 times more cars.

We had a great experience at Bodega Castell Miguel. The wonderful scenic setting, the delicious wines and excellent service by our host Milen made the tasting a delightful experience. Milen's knowledge and friendliness were a highlight of our afternoon. We highly recommend Castell Miquel for the stunning views, amazing wines, and wonderful staff. Do make a reservation in advance. Looking forward to our next visit !

What an awesome bodega. The service was excellent, the scenery 1st class, the surroundings ideal. The good news is the wine. A brilliant stairway to heaven by all accounts. With a great mix both white and red. The winery has a great story taking the stepped vineyards into account. Probably best to book but if you can, make the effort.

Mike could not have been more accommodating and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy riding in Mallorca, including a chat about rides I had planned and best options as this was my first trip. The bikes were in very good condition and well maintained and very well priced for what we hired. He even loaned me a bike rack to save me having to stack the bikes into the back of a rental. Would highly recommend and when I return to the island I will use Bikehead again.

Beautiful boots! They have different leathers you can see, choose from and you can see how the manufacturing of the shoes is done. That is very interesting. Yes, be aware the leathers are from real animals... If you need your boots to be widened they can do it there immediately. They offer you something to drink when you come in and let you walk around. It is very interesting to see the machines they work with and the materials. The service is better in Arta as the lady in Arta takes her time and looks at your preferences.

I never saw so many boots and how they are manifactured. The owner was very friendly and showed us everything! Worth a visit. Sadly i have to change my review. My sole was broken after only 3 Months of not heavy use. Ive been told "Tony mora is always here for you" so i opened a support case in dezember last year hoping they would tell me what i should / can do to save my boots. Till this day i havent received an answer wich is really disapointing.

Visited this morning. We we're welcomed and shown around the factory, met some of the very talented artisans that create these fantastic boots; all handmade. Between us we must have tried on 20 different pairs, we never felt uncomfortable and nothing was too much trouble for the Manager serving us. A chilled glass of cold Cava offered a welcome respite to the decision making. We went to buy one pair for my partner and ended up with two pairs each and could've bought more😳 Easily done I tell you 😜 If you're ever in Mallorca; this is well worth the experience even if you don't buy anything, at no time did we ever feel pressured. It was awesome! We rent the VW "Bus" for our wedding. Our driver was Cesar. He was absolutely friendly, on time and give us the feeling that we are the most important persons on this day. Even at the planed stop for the photo session, he buy without even asking for all of us some water, because we forgotten and it was freaking warm. When we arrive at the party location, he stayed for at least half an hour, so that all guests could make some cool pictures with the bus. All in all Cesar and the bus was just perfect! We give 6/5!!!
