Stunning service, wonderful readings by young believers of genesis and acts. Exceptional sermon Focusing on the pride of the Tower of Babel and its inverse, Pentecost. Beautiful bells and words by the servant of the lord. 🙏 I wish these were available online, like those from cornerstone back home, so more could enjoy the word of god. Another great point from the sermon “never accept less, we are here to worship all mighty god, and Pentecost should remind us of the power freely given to us” 🤲 Wonderful use of Christmas lights to highlight the diversity of the church!! ⛪️ 🎄 😂 love it!!😍
Thanks to the book that bears its name, Kells is probably the best known of the Gaelic monastic sites. The book is not here and all that remains here is a churchyard with a few towers, a couple of high crosses and a locked church. The carvings and inscriptions on the crosses are interesting
A beautiful location with loads to see and explore, the round tower, the high cross and the large tower to the rear of the church stand out for their own points of interest. Parking was on the road and you can explore the cemetery and walk all the way around the church to enjoy the views provided, all in all a very ebjoyable visit, cheers
The three high crosses here plus one more in town are an absolute must see for anyone interested in church history and spirituality. These are the iconic high crosses in many brochures of Ireland and so see them right up close is remarkable.
Visiting on Bank holiday weekend. Interesting old headstones and High Cross's. Very little information a available on site which is unusual considering this is where the Book of Kells originated from.
Better than expected. Not the original church or spire next to it but the round tower and crosses are.
Charming old church, graveyard and round tower. Full of character and history.
Worth a look around, some impressive old tomb stones about.

A very interesting place to visit. Windswept location, exposed, so on cold days, wrap up!!
A light house in the middle of a large field, where only in Ireland would you see it. It has excellent parking, a play area for children, some beautiful walks and of course the stunning lighthouse itself in a unique setting, a great location with something for everyone, cheers
The Spire of Lloyd is a stunning inland lighthouse replica with panoramic views, it is said on a clear day you can see across 17 counties! Built in 1791, it's full of history and charm. The nearby Famine graveyard /Paupers graveyard adds a moving layer to the visit. Peaceful, scenic, and unique. The climb to the top of the Spire is open to the public only on Friday with bookings. The Views of Spire from the roads , the grass lands all adds a different viewpoint
Tis a grand spot with lovely open spots for the kids to run, lovely meadows and wildflowers and grass thanks to Meath County Council! Beautiful nature and views
Need to pre-book tour. Only on Fridays. Worth a visit. Fantastic views over Meath and beyond.
Well worth a look. Beautiful views and quite a unique structure inland. The tour is short and while the guide was friendly and accommodating, the information and delivery could be improved a little. Still, would recommend a look if you're interested!
Definitely drive up to this gem if your in kells well worth the visit
A nice place to sit and relax after a busy day. Lots of space to walk around. There is also a playground for children so you can come here for a moment of relaxation

Played the new course and fell in love with it, pristine condition with large fast greens. Lots of lovely water features all around the course. it's just a great place to enjoy with friends, can't wait to return.
Stunning course Food was great Played with two members who were a great laugh all round Slight issue in pro-shop as we had booked online but were told we hadn’t which was worrying as we’d paid in full- we did all got sorted in the end Overall a great experience highly recommend playing there & we’ll be back to play the old course soon
This course looks fantastic, beautifully kept green complexes and extremely challenging green side bunker on this hole (photo) will play here when I return with my clubs soon!! ⛳️ 🏴‍☠️
A great first time playing golf in Ireland. My special thanks to all in the golf shop Darren. Great company with Kevin Brendan and Declan. And thanks to Tom the club captain for a warm welcome. The restaurant food was beautiful and look forward to returning g to the Headfort soon.
Absolutely stunning golf course. Played the championship course which was a glorious walk. Some brilliant holes. Club house is also great. Good food, friendly staff. Brilliant place for a society day away.
The pro shop man...Paul. So helpful and welcoming to their course. The food was excellent in the restaurant as were the staff. Beautiful Course. We'll be back. Thank you for a great day.
Fantastic club. Played both the old and championship course, both in great condition. A tough challenge for sure. But very enjoyable. Food in the clubhouse afterwards hit the spot. Definitely worth a visit.
Played the Championship course and it was a real solid test. I can see why it hosted the Challenge Tour. Some really dense woodland to enjoy as well. A top track.

Very historical building. A must watch if you visit kells.
(Translated by Google) Tradition has named it the house of San Colombano, but the construction is decidedly more recent. However, we are talking about an early medieval structure with the oldest stone roof in Ireland. It cannot be visited. (Original) La tradizione l'ha nominata casa di San Colombano, ma la costruzione è decisamente più recente. Comunque parliamo di una struttura alto medioevale con il tetto in pietra più antico d'Irlanda. Non è visitabile.
