Kasper was amazing, he needs a raise lots of love the Nicholson fam and Sarah Claire and Jeeniva da diva. Make sure you show him this.
As we were staying in Waterford we decided to book a kayaking session. We were really lucky to get booking as most of them were booked this day. It was a great day weather wise which added to the fun. Our female guide was professional and friendly and very informative about the local history. To be honest all the staff we came across that day were really friendly. Book early well worth a visit.
We did the wibit and Kayaking, was great fun. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone with kids.
Fantastic customer service from both Karen and Aine. The kayaking was enjoyed by our whole group and even though the weather was cold and damp their instructor was lively and engaging so everyone made the most of the session. We will be back with more groups
Went on the Sea Safari. Absolutely fabulous. Dave is an amazing captain and guide. We went all the way over to the Hook, then back across to the Forty Steps and Creaden Head. Then around the coastline. Water was flat calm, high tide. Saw loads of birds. Don’t miss this!
We booked the Sea Safari last Saturday our Captain/Guide Gary was so knowledgeable and entertaining..we had a great time...a must...would recommend it...thanks.....
Great fun for the kids, wetsuit can be rented, helmet provided, bring shoes that can get wet. Parents can relax with a coffee ☕ upstairs.
Great fun for all ages. Plenty of supervision on hand. Kids had a great time, aged 10 and 11, and adults did too, plenty of laughter had by all. Good sized changing rooms and cute gift shop available. We also availed of the kayaking class, 7 of us, and no problem for the teacher to cope with different levels of experience. A great day out, no matter what the weather is like. Highly recommended!

Lovely pub with a welcoming atmosphere. Great hospitality from all the team here. Especially Josh (and his Dad!) and Sarah who helped us link up a football game to watch on their TV. Thank you so much.x
Great place to eat, out of the way of the crowds but still close enough to join the beach. At the moment I think the place is temporarily closed, such a shame.
Very nice place! Irish. We had almost all the regular menu. We were eight persons. Everything was good but we enjoyed the beef pie and fish and chips.
Meh, average beer, we didn't finish either the guinness or the IPA. Food offering is pizza or fried food which in fairness is.ok, but you cant order from the staff, no, you go to the dry dock bar...where nobody is at, but its not the bar, its a hatch, go figure making it difficult to increase the pubs margin...fuel stop, won't come back unless we have to. I will caveat that we came during their bluegrass festival (they don't actually play a lot of bluegrass) so it was disproportionately busy, but even still, it was a poor pint.
Staff make a place welcoming and inviting. The staff here are amazing- attentive welcoming and hardworking. Had a lovely evening with my partner and his Spanish parents this evening. Thank you ! Special shout out to Debbie who managed our reservation perfectly! The food was exceptional with amazing flavours and generous portions.
Amazing fish pie served with a beautiful fresh and tasty salad. Excellent value for money venue. Best place in the village for dining.
We ate here July 2022 I had the battered hake and chips n salad garnish…waow it was huge and so delish 😍 hubby had Steak n Guinness pie and chips salad garnish washed down with strawberry 🍓 n lime cider on a hot sunny evening. Staff polite and efficient ✅
Very good food...excellent location and no rush on sitting in and enjoying a great night of food/drinks with some good friends. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough!

I was on a land tour of UK, Ireland. Some of us signed on for this pub tour. Our tour guide Susan Cleary (Cosmos) tours was a frequent visitor, in fact we picked up Ritchie Roberts singer/guitarist/Irish folk lore storyteller. The beer and entertainment was very good! I did not order food
Great place for a few drinks and some entertainment. Greatly enjoyed
We stopped here as one of the excursions on our group tour and had the most wonderful time! Our tour with #Globus and our amazing guide #Peter made it the best time. Peter sang and entertained us with music and jumped back on the bus and continued his amazing guide service. The locals even made it that much more enjoyable! I will forever remember this wonderful visit!
We were on a 10 day bus tour with globus and this was one of the events we could attend. Our tour guide Katherine and amazing coach driver Mr. Norman Gallagher were amazing as was this place. Beer was cold and the Owner playing the guitar was absolutely amazing as well. It was my wife's birthday and sang happy birthday. It was one of our favorite things we did while visiting this magical country.
A wonderful old world pub with a charming gentleman owner, one of a long line of publicans. A cosy fire in the winter and outside tables in the summer. Occasional nice music sessions. Friendly and helpful local it's as much a community center as a pub. My only complaint is the Guinness is too tasty and I never want to leave.
Had a great time. Entertainment was Fantastic.
An awesome old classic Irish pub run by the same family for multiple generations. On our tour they had an artist perform a mix of traditional Irish songs/tales, and covers of a couple more current Irish band, singers. A really fun time for the whole group. Don't plan for fancy mixed drinks although simple ones they can manage. Plenty of beer, cider, and whiskey options.
Real small village pub wuth some live entertainment. Only part of our tour group and a few locals were there. We had a few drinks and were treated with some local entertainment. A lively entertainer with a guitar and funny to boot. Spent an enjoyable hour before dinner

Beautiful gift shop with gorgeous things and all very reasonably priced. If you're in Dunmore East, be sure to pop your head in.
Ordered something from the Breakwater Gift Shop's website as I haven't had the pleasure to visit there yet. It was wrapped so beautifully with such care and was a really lovely gift to give, not to mention the card that it came with too! I'm so glad I found this place and I'll be sure to go see it in person next time I'm in Waterford. Thank you so so much!
I loved popping into this gift store. Many little collectibles and loved the Santa tree decorations and some local art pieces they carry. They are very friendly and even helpful in helping a lost person (me) find the bus stop!
Excellent service, friendly staff. I purchased a fosh water bottle in store. After a really long time the straw was worn and damaged. I called into the shop to see if I could get a replacement. Unfortunately there wasn't one available in store. They managed to source a replacement and delivered straight to my door. A fantastic after sales service. I would highly recommend this shop for any purchase. Elaine Riordan
Absolutely love this shop in Dunmore East. We visit every time we're in Waterford. Received my first order from Emma's new website this morning with the most lovely handwritten note, on gorgeous paper with embossed logo. So classy and artistic and lovely. Emma has such a great eye for lovely things. You won't be disappointed - Ever!
What a gem in DME. Shop of my dreams ❤️ When you first walk in you are greeted by the dreamy aroma of beautiful irish scented candles. There's everything from skincare to candles, to homeware, to jewellery to handbags and gorgeous baby teddies and gifts..like I said, the shop of my dreams. Absolutely beautiful stock & owner was friendly and helpful.
Love this shop, visit every year on the October weekend & I always pick up a beautiful gift for friends & always get a nice new decoration for our Christmas tree!! Friendly staff & attention to detail when gift wrapping 👌worth a visit & supporting local shops!
Popped in here to buy a birthday card. Our cruise ship was moored in Dunmore. Friendly, welcoming and helpful.

It's some thing we all dread is an accident at sea but now days we have excellent rescue orginasions to deal with these, such a great help. This memorial is worth a visit and to read the names on the wall.
Dunmore East is a gem. Although it is getting a little bit built up,the harbour will always be a place of tranquility and peace. One of my go to places when I need to relax.
Beautiful memorial wall, opened by The former president of Ireland Mary Mc Allesse many years ago, for all the men, women and children who lost their life's at sea so far around the South East coastal waters, my dad's name unfortunately is on it 😓. Every year a mass is arranged with choir and speeches from local people. A must see if you visit Dunmore East Harbour. Enjoy.
It's safe .food in any cafe is good the people are very nice kids will love the swimming the park you can play tennis in park ..kids play ground very safe for them and won't cost you any mine is the best part so enjoy dunmore east I would recommend it to any one 😙😘😎
I was a fisherman in Dunmore east many years ago, loved it then and love it now, what a beautiful place and lovely poeple. Unfortunately the fishing industry is not what it was and there's much charm lost, how ever beautiful.
Evocative monument in a beautiful working fisheries harbour. Always a poignant reminder of the risk attached to working by the sea.
Lovely place with beaches below the cliffs and a lovely harbour. Had plenty of water activities for all the family.
Young, old, Irish nationals, men and women of other nations, drowned in the harbour, torpedoed thousands of miles away, all remembered on this simple memorial wall.
