BEWARE! The parking lot at the museum is unsafe and has a known issue with car break-ins. We arrived for a short visit on the afternoon of 7 Sept and left an hour and a half later with a broken window and some stolen items. The parking lot was busy so didn’t even imagine the potential for such an issue. There are security cameras in the lot that are all BROKEN! Shame on the museum! They know this is a problem and do nothing about it! Now getting to spend a few fun hours with the gendarmerie (they are very helpful and nice though- 5 star experience!)

The museum didn’t do much for me but I’m happy to have visited. The gift shop is very good. You can get some lovely souvenirs that are only available here.

Beautiful place, outside as well as the inside of the museum. A good way to learn more about the region and the monks. There are audio tours available in many languages! There is a shop with experienced staff that can tell you all about the products sold there, which includes a lot of local products. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit, the things I learned and the peace I felt while walking around.

I highly appreciate these monks, but the museum was a bit bored. The best part of it the walk on the lovely and peacefully road to the new building.

Very different from all the other churches I've ever been. I recommene checking out the activities being held, they looked very interesting. There are booklets in many languages so everyone can read about the art.

Splendid views of the entire mountain range. I hiked all the way up to Charmant Som with my niece’s husband. Some parts of the trail were steep but we made it to the top. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see Mont Blanc as it was hidden behind the clouds. Still, it was well worth the climb. I would certainly do it again.
