Group of natural vents spouting perpetual flames above the ruins of the temple of Hephaistos.

Unique place, worth the short hike. You must be quite mobile to get up here. Great views and if you are lucky there may be cats up here. Lots of tourists but that doesnt really matter. You can also roast marshmallows which they sell at the bottom of the hike here. Would definitely recommend doing that with little kids! Lots of fun for the whole family.
Beautiful adventure!! Many natural vents with permanent flames above the ruins of the temple of Hephaistos You must take with you bottles of water and plenty of tissues because you will have so much sweating and become thirsty.. About 1000 meters climbing up with difficulty .. there are many rocks and tortious pathways ..
Make sure you’re QUITE fit and have no mobility issues. Intense 1km climb to the top on a rocky path with huge steps. Make sure it’s not going to rain; the rocks get pretty slippery. If you come close to dusk/night, bring big flashlights and hope you have good night vision. The fire coming out of the mountain is super cool though. Bring marshmallows! It’s about the size of a small campfire. The area at the bottom of the mountain is quite peaceful as well, which was surprising for a tourist attraction. Btw the road leading down to it is a quite windy downhill with many blind curves.
Amazing place to visit, especially at night time. There is a steep hike, so don't bother if you don't have the means. Have a hiking shoes on and water with you, and if you plan to visit at night, have head light or flashlight with you, and be very careful with every step, some parts of the trail can be a bit slippery.
Easy hike up. 60tl entrance per person, toilet 10tl. Would avoid going up in heat, still manageable.
So someone tells me there’s a place in Turkey where fire literally comes out of the ground. Naturally, I assume it’s one of those tourism exaggerations. Like when a hotel calls their pool “an oasis” and it turns out to be a lukewarm puddle next to a parking lot. Or when you’re promised an “authentic village experience” and get a guy in a tunic selling Pringles. But then I get to Mount Chimaera. And, folks, there ARE flames. Real, actual, unexplained flames just casually shooting out of the rocky hillside like it’s no big deal. No wood. No gas line. No special effects budget. Just fire. Eternal, logic-defying fire. The ancient Greeks looked at this and went, “Yep, monster breath.” And honestly? That explanation makes more sense to me than natural gas seeping through rock fissures or whatever science is trying to say. I still don’t believe what I saw. I kept blinking. I stare at the ground in disbelief a lot but not like this.
20-25 minute hike to see the eternal flame, pretty cool really! Bring some marshmallows to roast over the flames
Beautiful area to visit , buy your marshmallows at the entrance to toast on the fires. The walk up is about 1km from the car park but some of the steps are quite steep and uneven , we did it in winter , I would imagine it’s much harder during the hot summer months.

lovely beach! there aren't any public facilities or much shade but the water has a great temperature and there's a lot of space. there are sunbeds and umbrellas that probably belong to the restaurants and hotels right by the beach.
The beach and sea in Cirali are clean, but there is one thing....these are the people. Cigarette butts are everywhere, plastic is lying around in tons on the sand, bottles, cans and napkins....horrible...despite the fact that 90% of vacationers in Cirali are Turks. Incredible
Aprox 3.3km of beach with beautiful mountains and clear water. The sand is hot so shoes all the time for protection. Water entrance pretty abrupt so it is recommended that kids know how to swim.
It's an amazing and not crowded beach with picturesque surrounding mountains. Meet the sunrise over the Mediterranean sea. The beach is mostly with pebbles mixed with sand. Lots of shopping and dining options in the village. The beach and water are clean. The beach itself is a place where sea turtles Caretta Caretta lay their eggs. The places are marked with small metal pyramid cages. When baby turtles start to hatch they run to the sea. It happens at nights so for the period of hatching the attendance of the beach is closed at night.
This is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been. The breeding ground for caretta carettas. What a beautiful premise. However it comes with a quite amount of water pollution especially during the noon. Bubbly water due to whatever the boats are getting rid of. Bottle caps, baking paper, plastic bags, cookie wrap, plastic nets. You can find all that in the water. I don't want to know all the things we can not see. Everybody seems to ignore it. Children play in it. People swim by the bags. I guess humans don't deserve this beauty.
You can put a tent on the beach if you don’t mind ships parked nearby. Note that you are not allowed to set up a tent in savanna area as it’s a National park. The savanna is amazing and so unique for this region of Turkey! Perfect for photoshoots and theme activities.
Great beach. Quiet and not crowded. Would recommend the northern or central parts rather than the more crowded southern edge near the Olympos ruins. To access these sections you can just keep walking up the beach or if you have a car there is a road that runs alongside the beach. One of the best beaches of the trip, not overhyped.
Very beautiful, peaceful, pebbly beach. The water temperature is temperate and calm. The lush greenery makes you feel like you are in Thailand.

Very nice experience taking the cable car all the way to the top of the mountain. Views were panoramic and gorgeous. Facilities on the top of the mountain are very clean.
Incredible scenery, you can almost see forever. Weather is cool, calm and comfortable today. Worth the money!
Gorgeous mountain with great infrastructure. Loved the experience - visited on the sunset tour and it was trully worth going there for the sunset. The colours are stunning. It is jot as crowded. There is a jumping rope there - quite fun thing to try. Wear something worm - it is a lot colder at this altitude, especially in the evening. On the top you have a coffee shop and restaurant. Nice place to warm up.
Very beautiful place, really nice view from the top of the mountain 👍👍
iIncredible and mind-blowing! The teleferik is awesome for going up and down. The view from the top is divine. Onex tur - you are on top!
4 km cable car. €32 pp. Expensive gift shop and the cafe.
Even on the hottest day, it's comfortable and cool here.Turkey's most beautiful beaches can be seen from this mountain. From a height of 2,375 meters, you will see beautiful cities, beaches and greenhouses in Turkey. Our children really enjoyed going uphill and flying from the mountain to the beach with paragliding. We're going to go back to fly.
Climbed Thatali from the village of Yahla Kuzdere. 6.5 hours of climbing/trekking up 1,684m vertical. A tough, demanding trek but very much worth the effort. Make sure you do it when it’s not clouded-in, which is quite common. You will need a GPS Maps app for the route up the East Lycian Way, as many of the route markings have been destroyed by land slips and cannot be followed in some parts.

Perfect day out on the boat. We stopped at 4 amazing swimming locations and were served a delicious lunch. Best fish we’ve had in Turkey.
It’s a scam, you have to pay for EVERYTHING, they Said 3 stops in different places, and they just stopped 2 times, and not in any of the places we were told. I don’t recommend it at all, don’t waste your money
Took a 3 hour sunset private tour ($300) with them two times - both times were really good! The crew was friendly and flexible. I recommend to go off the beaten path - skip Port Ceneviz (dirty) and Sazak. Come by Akvaryum and then sail down south...
The best and friendliest boat tour in Çirali.
Best Ali Baba in Cirali. Would go again.
